There's a lot of layers with this one. I really wish I could find a male cover of this one, but Suisei's voice is angelic so it's fine.

Something I've been trying to get better with as a writer is sort of painting pictures with my writing, and scenes of reader and Ronan's conversations on the dock under the stars has been a good way to practice that.

The big thing with Ronan is when things get bad, he feels powerless to protect reader and his family, yet he's horrified of appearing weak; not in the traditional toxic masculinity sense, but he's afraid if he seems weak, that'll scare reader/his kids. He opens up to reader about this, but it's hard.

Yet no matter how scary things become, no matter how dark the night gets, he's there in the morning.
