Christmas tree || Fuckboy!Billie x Nerdy!Reader
-ʙʟᴜʀʙ || ᴀᴜ ᴍᴀꜱᴛᴇʀʟɪꜱᴛ
Warnings - none
"can you pass me the gold ornament?" I ask Billie. I'm standing on a small latter in her house helping decorate her tree. "Uhh, which one? there's the one with the snow flakes, a plain one, and one with like designs on it?" She looks up from her spot on the couch. She's wearing a big Christmas shirt that looks like it could swallow her whole.
"The one with the snow flakes," I say as I reach out my hand.
She tosses it to me and I catch it, placing it carefully on a branch. "You know, you're really good at this," she says with a small smile.
"Thanks," I blush, "It's just something I've always liked doing."
"Yeah, me too." She stands up and grabs a string of lights, starting to wrap them around the tree. "I remember when I was a kid, my mom would let me do all the decorating."
"Aw, that's sweet," I say, watching her. She's so focused on the task, her tongue poking out of the corner of her mouth slightly.
"Mmhmm," she mumbles, not looking up from her work. "But then she'd always go behind me and move all the ornaments around."
I laugh. "Why would she do that?"
"Because apparently, I have no sense of style," she says, rolling her eyes.
"I think you do just fine," I tell her, looking around the room that's already been decked out in festive decorations.
"Thanks," she says, finally looking up and making eye contact.
We're both quiet for a moment, the only sound the occasional clink of an ornament or the rustling of tinsel.
"Hey, do you want to help me with the angel on top?" She points to the delicate angel in her hands.
"Sure," I say, climbing down from the ladder.
Billie hands it to me and I carefully place it on top of the tree. It's a little wobbly but it stays put.
"Perfect," she says, taking a step back to admire our work. "What do you think?"
"It looks amazing," I reply, genuinely impressed.
"wait hold on," I climb back on the latter and move and ornament around a bit more. "It's not quite symmetrical," I explain.
"You know, I think it looks better like that," she says, her voice a little softer than before.
I look down at her, a little confused. "Really?"
"Yeah, it's more… natural." She smiles up at me, and I feel my heart skip a beat.
"Okay, if you say so," I say, before looking back at the tree from the latter. I suddenly feel hands around my waist.
"Careful," Billie whispers, "don't fall."
Her hands are warm and comforting, and I find myself leaning into them without even realizing it.
"Thanks," I murmur, my voice barely audible.
We stand there for a moment, our eyes locked until she gently pushes me down, so that I'm sitting on the top of the ladder.
"Merry Christmas," she says, her breath warm against my cheek.
"Merry Christmas," I reply, a little breathlessly.
And then she leans in and kisses me.
It's a soft kiss, full of warmth and sweetness, like the hot cocoa we had been sipping on earlier. I melt into it, my hands coming up to cup her face.
When we pull back, we're both smiling, and I know that this will be a Christmas I'll never forget.

— confessions, confessions, clarisse la rue, pjo
summary — in which, ever since you’ve arrived at camp, clarisse has seen you as her number one enemy. who would’ve known she’d make it so much more complicated than what it is.
pairings — clarisse la rue x black!fem!reader (daughter of athena)
content included — clarisse being flirty, clarisse using nicknames, eventual making out, uhh thats ab it
gods, you hated her.
her and her gorgeous face and pretty smile and soft hair. you hated her. hated her beautiful laugh and fierce eyes and her winning attitude.
and she hated you just as much.
you and your pretty laugh and your soft skin and the way you always have a plan. how you managed to up her whenever she had something smart to say.
she hated it.
it was capture the flag day. this year, chiron had switched some people from different teams; you had moved to the red team. clarisse’s team. you dragged your feet over to the team as she was explaining the plan.
“finally decided to join us, angel?” she used the nickname mockingly, but it still made your heart speed up a bit. you rolled your eyes, walking over and standing in the circle. clarisse let her eyes linger on you before continuing to talk.
she finished explaining the plan, and surprisingly enough, you were going to be with her a majority of the time. the conch sounded, signaling the start of the game.
“y/n, c’mere.” you jogged over to her. “is there a reason why we’re not with everyone else?” she just smirked. “just need you to keep guard, princess.” you scoffed at this. “so i couldn’t have had a better job?”
“what, you don’t like being around me?” she mocked. “you always have something to say, la rue. why would i?” truth be told, you did like being around her. not that you’d ever admit it, but she gave you a fuzzy feeling inside. “could’ve helped you, y’know, win the game if you’d just put me near the flag.” you tried to reason.
“hm, no. think you’d be better guarding with me.” clarisse teased. “well you know you’re capable by yourself, so-“ clarisse placed her hand over your mouth to shush you, putting her finger to her lips. she squatted behind some bushes, you following her.
there went some members of the blue team, luke nowhere to be seen. you knew he usually went with chris to play offense for the team. you and clarisse watched the team, studying their positions. “you got a magic weapon, right? the one that makes you invisible?” she asked you. “‘course i do.” “need you to use that. make a distraction.” you brought out your enchanted dagger, willing it to make you invisible.
you snuck around, stepping on some branches to try and get their attention. heads snapped towards your direction. “who’s there?” clarisse stepped around slowly, watching them. she let out a battle cry, going in to fight them. it was 3 against 1, but for clarisse it was nothing.
while she was dealing with them, you snuck around to get the flag. once you got it, you ran as fast as you could back to base. “HEY!” you heard yelling, but you kept running. clarisse watched you with a smile before realizing what she was doing and screwed her face back up.
before one of the campers could run after you, she tackled them to the ground. the others ran after you while clarisse screamed at you to run.
you ran as fast as your legs could carry you, jumping over tree branches and stumps. you could hear the running behind you, so you came up with a plan last second. you turned a random way, near some thick bushes before continuing to run. you didn’t think about anything but making it back to your post.
finally, the sight of your teams area came into view. the first person who spotted you was one of clarisse’s brothers. “she’s got the flag!” he yelled out. you reached the rock, short of breath, chest hurting, but you made it.
the conch blew, signaling that the game was over, and your team erupted into cheer. clarisse came out of the woods, a grin on her face. she cheered with her teammates before coming over to you. “good job, princess.”
your face burned from the nickname. you mumbled out a thank you while clarisse snickered beside you.
she was having fun with this.
“spar with me.”
“what?”
clarisse came over to where you were sitting in the dining pavilion, reading a book. “you heard me. i need a sparring partner.” she told you. “why me?” “so i can feel the glory of beating you, pretty girl.”
gods, when was she going to stop with these nicknames?
you raised an eyebrow. “and you’re sure none of your other siblings wanted to spar?” clarisse just shrugged. “don’t know. didn’t care to ask them. just spar with me.” you mulled over your options before sighing dramatically.
“fine. just go easy, la rue.” “can’t promise that, angel.” she grinned.
coming to terms with the fact you probably liked clarisse la rue out of all people was something you absolutely refused to do. not only was she cocky, but she had this overwhelming urge to want to beat you and everyone else in everything just because she can.
but another part of you couldn’t help but acknowledge how caring she could be towards specific people. like her younger siblings, who she was around quite often to help them train and get better. how she cared for her siblings in general, how she always checked up on her friends. it made your heart yearn for her in ways you didn’t expect.
what also made you yearn for her was the nicknames and the way she looked at you, but that’s a story for a different time.
you two made it to the sparring range. “we can use two weapons right? or are you strict about sparring too?” you asked her. “and what’s that supposed to mean?” she questioned. you shrugged. “just figured since you’re the daughter of the war god and all, you’d wanna have a specific way.”
clarisse rolled her eyes and couldn’t help but chuckle at the statement. that’s what she liked about you — you always had something to say, a comeback for her every time she got something smart out. it’s also why she ‘hated’ you so much, because you always had to one-up her.
“no specific way, princess. just try to pin me to the ground.” she told you. you hummed, pulling your dagger from your belt loop. you two decided to not go with any armor, seeing as this was just a quick match. “you ready, la rue, or do you still wanna spend time with your spear?” you mocked. “don’t bite off more than you can chew, pretty girl.”
you walked around eachother in circles for a few seconds before you willed your dagger to make you disappear. clarisse knew that was going to happen, though. she was calculated like that. what you didn’t know was that she was very attentive, which meant she could see and almost hear the dirt as you moved.
“not good at sneaking around over here, pretty girl.” she murmured. she sped up her movements before attempting to tackle you to the ground. she did tackle you, but you put up a fight. this went on until you finally managed to pin her to the ground. you became visible, a triumphant grin on your face.
“got you, la rue.” you pointed out, but she didn’t say anything back. in fact, her face was starting to turn a shade of red. she looked at you with uncertainty, like she was restraining herself from doing something. you realized the position you were in, and you tried getting up as you mumbled out a sorry, but clarisse planted one hand on your waist.
“where are you going, smart girl?” she asked. you looked into her eyes, your heart feeling like it was about to beat out of your chest. you swallowed harshly. her hand crept up to your shirt, gripping the cloth. she slowly brought you down to her. “what are you doing, la rue?”
clarisse ignored you, instead choosing to bring you down to her lips. it was shocking, slow at first, until it turned frantic between the both of you. unsaid confessions and yearning were expressed through your lips. you both came up for air when it became too much. she let out a breathy laugh while you started to smile.
“how long have you been wanting to do that, la rue?”

WC: 4k words of Osamu Dazai lecherously taking you and you being lecherously taken ❤️
Leaves crunched under your feet as you ran, the cool fall air burning in your lungs. The ankle you’d twisted a few minutes previous was screaming at you, but only one thing was going through your mind.
Do.
Not.
Stop.
You knew he wasn’t far behind you, he never had been. Deep down, through all your attempts to lose the man you knew was trailing you, you knew damn well he was never more than a few minutes away. If you stopped now, he’d catch you for sure, and he had every intention of using that knife you’d seen glinting in his hand when he dumped you on the ground in this forest in the middle of nowhere and told you to run for your life.
You stumbled down a small hill, nearly losing your footing but staying upright by some miracle. You paused for just a moment to steady yourself, your heart rate spiking when you heard a branch snap in the distance. Whether it was the man you’d received a phone call from earlier in the night or some woodland creature, you weren’t sticking around to find out, and you took off again.
You’d been at home just an hour previous, curled up on the sofa of your living room as you waited for Dazai to come home. Your phone rang next to you; expecting your boyfriend, you answered without checking the caller ID, not seeing that it read ‘UNKNOWN CALLER’ at the top of the screen.
“Hello?” You chirped, expecting the gentle voice of your boyfriend Osamu on the other end.
“Do you want to play a game?” came the reply, the voice gravelly and unfamiliar. You frowned and checked the caller ID, just now seeing it wasn’t anyone in your contacts. Your blood ran cold for just a moment before you realized exactly what was going on, and you laughed.
“Osamu,” you giggled, “that’s the wrong movie, silly!” The person on the end seemed to falter for just a moment before gathering themselves and resuming conversation.
“Well, if you know so much about movies, belladonna, then tell me, what’s your favorite scary movie?”
“Scream,” you replied simply. “And, Osamu, you’re giving yourself away calling me belladonna like that,” you laughed. He grumbled something inaudible on the other end before you hung up, knowing this was all part of the game.
This had all been in the works for a couple of weeks now, beginning the night you’d popped the original Scream into the DVD player on a movie night with Osamu. He’d had his arm around you, so it wasn’t difficult for him to feel the way you tensed up a bit when the killer came on screen, nor was it hard for him to see the way your cheeks would turn pink when you heard his voice. An idea began forming in Dazai’s head, something dangerous that he knew both of you would like. He leaned in towards you, lips nearly brushing your ear as he whispered softly.
“My, my, belladonna, you seem to like what you see, hm?” he teased. Your cheeks reddened even more as you shrank in on yourself, declining to answer the question. “Well,” he continued, “what if I did something like that to you?”
You froze, then turned around to look at him, your eyes wide and unbelieving.
“Really?” you cautioned. He nodded, that signature smirk on his face telling you he was thinking devious thoughts.
“Really, sweet girl. Take you out to the woods where we can be all alone, let you go and hunt you down.” You shivered at his words, panties slicking up just at the thought. The two of you paused the movie and discussed in detail what expectations and boundaries you would have for each other, which is how you knew exactly what was happening when you received that call.
After you hung up the phone, it only took about five seconds for the phone to start ringing again, UNKNOWN CALLER scrolling across the screen a second time. You answered with a smile on your face, ready to mouth off again, but the voice on the other end beat you to it.
“You hang up on me again, I’ll gut you like a fish!”
You froze once again, the hair on the back of your neck standing on end. You knew this was a line ripped directly from the movie, but the way it was said sent shivers down your spine. The voice on the other end was rough, sharp, nothing like the Osamu you knew. For the first time tonight, you felt a stab of cold, genuine fear. The voice continued.
“Now, belladonna, I’m somewhere in your house. Do you want to guess where?” he urged. Your eyes darted around the room, trying to gauge whether Dazai could hide behind anything in front of you. But you’d hear him, right? That meant he had to be somewhere else in the house, somewhere he could call you from and you wouldn’t hear him.
“Tick-tock, sweet girl,” the voice on the phone purred. “I’ll give you just one guess. If you get it right, I’ll let you go. If you get it wrong, however,” he laughed darkly, “well, belladonna, you should start running.”
Your heart rate quickened, your palms slicking with sweat. Where the hell could he be?
“You have until the count of three, sweet girl.”
The kitchen? No, too open.
“One.”
The bathroom? No, you’d just been in there a few minutes previous and it was empty.
“Two.”
The dining room? No, you’d hear him from there. Ah! You knew where he must be.
“Three.”
“The bedroom!” you cried, just as the final number left his mouth. Then, silence.
“Tsk-tsk, oh, belladonna,” he sighed. “I thought you’d be better at this. How disappointing.”
Your hands shook, your blood like ice in your veins. You knew you had to run, but where? You guessed wrong, you had no clue where he was. You were going to have to take your chances.
You dropped your phone and started running toward the front door, immediately regretting not holding on to it, but knowing that it wouldn’t help you anyway. Focused more on getting out than staying undetected, you ran clumsily out of the living room into the hallway leading to your front door, your socked feet slipping on the hardwood. The front door was only twenty feet away. Fifteen. Ten. Five. You reached the doorknob, fighting with your other hand to unlock the deadbolt. Then, out of the corner of your eye, a flash of black and white, a rag thrown over your nose and mouth, wet with a faintly sweet smelling substance, and then darkness.
You awoke on the ground in a dark, unfamiliar clearing surrounded by thick forest, your hands taped behind your back. The only light afforded to you was from the full moon and the headlights of the dark SUV you assume you arrived in.
A man stood in front of you, slender and tall, dressed all in black and holding a large hunting knife at his side that glinted in the moonlight. His face was concealed by the traditional Ghostface Halloween mask. How original. How perfect.
You noticed that he’d been kind enough to change you out of your pajamas and into thick pants and heavy boots. A genuinely kind gesture, one that reminded you that you could truly trust the man in front of you. You held on to this feeling, knowing this would be the only mercy afforded to you tonight.
The man knelt in front of you, lifting the corner of his mask to reveal that he was, in fact, the one and only Dazai Osamu. His expression was soft, almost concerned.
“Hey, give me a color, angel,” he urged.
You took a deep breath. “Green,” you answered. Dazai’s mouth curled into a smile, one that once again sent shivers down your spine, and he winked at you. He readjusted the mask, completely covering his face again, and stood.
“Little bunny,” he purred. “Whatever are you doing in the woods all alone, hm? He knelt once again as he lifted his knife to press the blade to your face, softly enough that it didn’t break skin, but hard enough so that you could feel just how sharp it really was.
“Do you know what happens to little bunnies all alone in the woods, sweet girl?” You shook your head, not trusting your voice. “Sometimes they encounter wolves.”
You could hear the smile in his voice, it twisted your stomach but shot straight to your core all the same. He used his other hand to pop the button and lower the zipper on your pants, sliding his hand into your panties to press two fingers to your pussy, gathering the slick there. He sighed deeply, shuddering at the feeling of just how wet this was all making you.
“Oh, little bunny, you look so scared but you feel so wet,” he moaned, withdrawing his fingers to slide them into your own mouth. You took the hint and began to lick them clean, moaning at the taste of your own slick. He was kind enough to button your pants back up before flipping you over onto your stomach, caging you in with his arms. He cut through the tape binding your hands, just barely nicking your arm in the process making you gasp. He bent down to whisper in your ear again.
“It’s time to run, little bunny.”
He lifted himself off of you enough for you to scramble out from under him onto your feet, elbowing him in the process. He held his side, hissing in pain. “That hurt, bunny. I’m going to give you a thirty second head start. You better run for your life,” he growled. You weren’t sticking around to find out how serious he was, so you turned tail and ran into the darkness.
Which is what landed you here, stumbling through the forest on a twisted ankle, covered in scrapes and cuts from running through branches you didn’t see until it was much too late.
You stumbled into another clearing, your heart racing. You let yourself feel a bit of relief before you noticed the SUV in the clearing with you. The same SUV you arrived in, and the same clearing you’ve been running from. Dazai had herded you in a circle.
Your heart dropped into your stomach, knowing he couldn’t be far behind you. You scanned the tree line all around you, finally spotting the glint of metal to your right. You gasped, finding yourself unable to scream, and whipped around in the other direction, trying to get away as fast as you could, but the heavy footfalls behind you came closer all the same.
Two arms shot out from behind you, one on each side to wrap around your body. He broke your fall a bit, but wrestled you to the ground all the same, pinning you flat on your back with his arms once again caging you in and a strong thigh pressing between your own.
You finally found your voice, screaming in fear as you tried to worm your way out from under him. You worked an arm free and swung it at him in an attempt to get him off of you, but you only succeeded in knocking off his mask. The face underneath was almost as scary as the mask itself, Dazai’s eyes sharp and his cruel smile much too wide.
He pulled a short length of rope from his pocket, recapturing your arm and tying your wrists together in front of you. You opened your mouth to scream once again but he clapped a large, gloved hand over your mouth before you could even make a sound.
“Little bunny,” he taunted. “Looks like I caught you, hm?” He brought his other hand to his belt where he’d tucked his knife, pulling it free and raising it to your face. He pressed it to your cheek, making a shallow cut there, barely enough to break the skin, sighing at the tiny trickle of blood gathering there before removing the knife as you whimpered beneath his hand.
“I’ll do that again if you don’t keep quiet, bunny,” he warned. “I’m gonna take my hand off of your mouth. Are you going to scream, or can you keep quiet?” He took your fervent nodding to mean that you agreed to keep quiet, and he removed his hand.
Instead of saying anything, you immediately spat in his face, causing him to rear back on his knees for just a moment to wipe it away.
“You’re really starting to get on my nerves, bunny,” he said, flicking the wetness away from his hand. “I think it’s time you learn a lesson.”
He moved again, quick as lightning, to use his knife to cut a sizable slit out of your pants, waistband to crotch, before ripping them in half the rest of the way to hang loosely below your knees. He ripped your panties off of your body in one clean motion, and you flinched when the cool night air met your soaked pussy.
You thought he might cut you again, whining in confusion when he flipped the knife into the air, catching it by the blade. That confusion ended quickly when you felt him press the blunt handle to your pussy. You struggled uselessly against your bindings, but between the rope around your hands and the man never letting go of one of your legs, you weren’t getting away.
“Ah-ah, bunny,” Dazai teased. “Spitting on me wasn’t very nice, you know. I think you know that you deserve to be punished.” His voice was low in his throat, jarring compared to the usual gentle whispers he afforded you when he fucked you.
You shook your head, hard enough to make yourself dizzy. “I’m sorry! I won’t do it again, I promise I’ll behave- fuck!” Your pleading was cut off when Dazai pushed the knife handle into you in one clean thrust.
You cried out at the intrusion, fighting it instinctively even though it hurt in such a delicious way. Tears collected on your lashes as you tried to keep from showing him you actually liked this, but unfortunately Dazai knew your every tiny expression like the back of his hand.
“Oh, belladonna, you like it when I fuck you with my knife, don’t you?” He purred. You shook your head again with a whine, not trusting yourself with words at the moment. “Yes, I think you do, pretty. Come on, tell me you like the filthy things I’m doing to you. Tell me you love it.”
You cried out again, tears finally spilling from your eyes as you admitted, “love it, love it, love it,” chanting it like a mantra with every thrust of the handle.
He bent down towards you again to whisper against your ear. “I know, belladonna, I can hear how much you love it,” he murmured, his breath hot against your neck. Whether he meant your cries or the filthy, wet sounds he was drawing from your pussy, you didn’t know.
His words pushed you over the edge of a cliff you weren’t even fully aware you were standing on as you came on the handle, slicking it up along with your thighs and Dazai’s hand.
“Oh, what a good little bunny,” he praised, an edge of malice in his words. “Such a good girl, cumming on my knife like the dirty little thing you are,” he continued, pulling the handle out of you and admiring the way it now glistened with your slick in the moonlight. He stabbed it into the ground next to your head, confident he’d made you pliable enough to not struggle as he flipped you over onto your stomach, prone with your legs together between his own. You tried to push yourself up on your forearms, but a large hand square in the middle of your back kept you from even getting your hands under you with any efficiency.
“What are you-“ your question was cut off when he slid that same hand up to the back of your head, quick as anything to press your face into the mossy forest floor, muffling any protests.
“Shh, no talking, bunny,” he soothed. You whined, the sound still muffled by moss. He laughed, the motion driving his hips lightly into your ass where you felt his cock straining against his pants, and you were so tightly wound that such a small action made your hips buck just a fraction of an inch.
Dazai noticed your reaction, of course, driving his clothed hips into yours much harder this time, taking his hand off the back of your head and allowing you to cry out.
“Fuck, please!” you cried, not sure what you were even begging for, pushing your upper body up onto your still bound forearms, high enough to twist your head around and allow Dazai to see the tears still rolling down your face. His cock twitched in his pants at the sight, and he rolled his hips into yours again.
You whined again and his patience began to wear thin; you heard the clank of a belt and the rustling of fabric behind you and you jumped, squirming uselessly beneath him until you felt the head of his cock brushing against your ass and you froze again.
“Wait, wait!” you cried, hands scrabbling on the ground beneath you. He chuckled deep in his throat and used his legs to push yours even closer together, tipping your hips up to line his cock up to your entrance. He pushed it between your thighs, gathering the slick dripping down your legs before pushing it into your waiting pussy with a sigh, ignoring your pleas all the while.
He worked himself in, inch by torturous inch, the gentle way he reached up to pet your hair contrasting with the harsh way he drove his hips into you as you cried.
Halfway in, your eyes flew open, the stretch becoming too much.
“Wait! Not gonna fit, ‘s too big!” you slurred, fighting a bit harder to get away, still to no avail. “Too tight like this,” you whined. Dazai tangled his fingers into your hair, yanking you back so he could speak directly into your ear, his warm breath tickling your neck.
“Little bunny, you think it isn’t going to fit? You always take my cock so well, and now that this pretty little pussy is drooling down your legs, you think I can’t fit it in? You’ve never been this wet before, belladonna,” he murmured. “I’ll fucking make it fit.”
He snapped his hips into yours doubly hard now, sheathing himself completely with just a handful more thrusts that pulled a genuine wail from your throat, your mind screaming at you that the cock drilling into you was tearing you in half.
His pace was breakneck, his hips colliding with yours so hard they were driving you inch by inch across the forest floor, matting your tangled hair with leaves. You shifted your hips a bit, keeping him from hitting quite so deep. He didn’t take kindly to this, letting out a growl and letting go of your hair to reach out and yank the knife out of the ground next to you, holding it up to your neck and nicking the skin there, whether by accident or on purpose you weren’t sure. You whined as you felt a thin trickle of blood run down your throat.
“Keep those fucking hips where I put them,” Dazai growled. You whined at him to please, fuck, just slow down! and he finally relented, dropping the knife and switching instead to rolling his hips against yours, driving the tip of his cock directly into your g-spot and pressing his balls to your clit with each thrust.
The sharp pain slowly began to give way to pleasure as your cries gave way to moans, each sensation so overwhelming it caused your legs to shake. Dazai took hold of your hair once again, this time much gentler, the action causing a stir in your belly and already bringing you close to cumming.
“Fuck yes, little bunny. You like this, don’t you?” he teased. “You like it when I fuck you nasty,” he continued, punctuating his sentence with a particularly slow roll of his hips that drew a high-pitched cry from you, tears still rolling down your face. “You gonna cum, sweet girl?” he urged. “You gonna cum from me taking you from behind, on the ground like a fucking animal?” he urged.
Your eyes rolled back, your breath catching in your throat as your hips stuttered beneath him; Dazai knew you were close, you just needed one more little push.
“You want me to fill you up, bunny? Fuck yeah, I felt you squeeze me just now, of course you do. ‘M gonna fill that soaked little cunt up so full of my cum, leave it to leak out of you since you’re such a filthy girl.”
His final sentence and a well-timed thrust pushed you over the edge and you came hard, whole body shaking as you gushed around him. You soaked his legs as well as your own, the rest of your cum pattering on the leaves below you as you cried out his name.
He fucked you through your orgasm, the relentless clenching of your pussy bringing him closer to his own. Your arms finally gave out on you, your head dropping to the ground softly, but Dazai was kind enough to turn it to the side for you so that you could breathe.
“‘M close, belladonna,” he whispered.
“Osamu,” you whined, quickly becoming overstimulated, “I’m tired.”
“Shh, sweet girl, it’s okay. I’ll take care of you,” he soothed, placing an almost shockingly sweet kiss on your cheek, a sharp contrast from the way he’d just been treating you. His hips began to stutter, sloppy and almost clumsy, before you felt him shake above you, spilling his load into you as deep as he could get it.
Dazai shuddered as he came, his arms very nearly giving out, but he wasn’t through yet. He pulled out suddenly, the sudden friction on your already sore pussy making you’ll help. He clumsily pulled his phone out of his back pocket, readjusting to take a photo of his cum already spilling from your pussy, then another, a selfie with his fist tangled in your hair, yanking your head up next to his as he smiled at your completely fucked-out expression. Satisfied, he rolled away from you before he collapsed to avoid crushing you. Flipping onto his back, he pulled his jeans back up where they belonged before gathering you in his arms, resting your head on his chest and wiping away at your tears with the sleeve of his shirt.
“Such a good girl for me, honey,” he whispered, squeezing you tight. “Anything hurt?”
“A-ankle. . .” you whimpered, deciding the twisted appendage was your most immediate problem after your completely abused pussy.
He clicked his tongue teasingly, assuring you he had an ice pack in the car, along with a blanket. He stood, gathering you up in his arms before starting toward the car. The passenger door had been left open, so he placed you onto the seat, wrapping you in a blanket before wetting a rag from a water bottle, wiping away at the blood on your face and neck as you began to drift off.
“‘Samu?” you asked
“Yes, belladonna?”
“I love you,” you slurred. He laughed softly.
“I love you too.”
WEEEEEHOOOOO do u feel it? Cumming in the air tonight?

YOU'RE DEAD TO ME
[12: EPILOGUE]
dad!Jake Sully x human!daughter!reader
In which Jake Sully leaves his life on earth to settle down with the Omatikaya people as Toruk Makto. Having a family that consists of four kids with Neytiri, everything seems to work out just fine, but what if the past comes back for him? And his babygirl is right there in front of him?
previous chapter
next chapter [none]
The air felt so much lighter and the sun much brighter. Cold water droplets landing on your warm skin as you sat under a damp tree, cooling your sweating body down. Your fingertips touched the mossy ground from under you as they disappeared into the green grass that stood tall.
The touch tickled your skin as you enjoyed the peaceful scenery around you.
Peace.
Quiet.
At ease.
No sounds of war surrounding you or the horrifying screams of the natives filling your eardrums. Just the noise of chirping animals in the background as you inhaled the pandoran air. Your eyes closed as you dozed off, back rested against the same tree you're settling down under.
Your ears twitched. There was a change of background noise. You heard it.
Chirp chirp rustle chirp.
It wasn't loud, but you caught onto it. Your eyes were still closed, waiting for any other unusual sound. A rustle. A thud. The hand that roamed around the high grass moved slowly, but delicately towards your dagger. Your nails dug into the dirt as your hand wrapped around the weapon. You heard another couple of rustles and tried to pinpoint out in your head where THEY would be now. It was more than one.
You could hear soft thuds of footsteps in between a pair of footsteps and the same bush was hit twice. You tried to imagine the scenery in front of you. A small hill in the corner of your right eye, from behind there a small little river flowing down with around the edge a huge bush. Surrounding you just a bunch of naturally placed trees from all sizes. You knew there was a branch just a few meters in front of you. You placed it there for occasions like these. The wood was small, therefore hard to spot thanks to the high grass.
You waited and waited.
Until, snap.
The branch was crushed in half and you jumped from the ground, dagger in hand as you pointed it towards the danger that you would soon face with a soft hiss leaving your lips. Well, a danger isn't what you could really call it, as Lo'ak and Tuk stood in front of you with their hands thrown up in defense.
"Calm down! It's us! Damn, you really got feisty in that form." Lo'ak yelped it out as he took a step back. He then turned to Tuk who was stood on the broken branch. "Tuk! You should watch where you're going! Now our entire stealth plan in scaring sis is ruined!" The words almost escaped his lips with a whine, almost. Tuk's ears ppinted downwards as she gazed at her feet, "I'm sorry..."
A sigh left your lips, shaking your head in the process. You walked up to your siblings. Where you would usually reach Lo'ak around his stomach and Tuk around her neck, you were now facing his neck instead as Tuk reached your stomach.
You put your navy blue hand on her head as you rubbed her head, "It's okay, little Tuk. Lo'ak is just being a meanie! Right?" You then faced your little brother and grabbed him by his cheek. You pulled hard, causing him to yelp out, "right?" You frown as you look up at him, eyes squinted. He immediately nodded in response, his ears flopping slightly as he did so. A small "yes" left his lips and you let go of his cheek in satisfaction.
"Dad wants you back, actually. It's almost dinner time."
"And he sent you?" You raised your eyebrow in suspicion, soon squinting your eyes awaiting an answer from him.
"Okay okay! I actually overheard dad talking to mom so I uhh.... went to get you and took Tuk with me?" He already took a step back as he spoke, scratching behind his neck, "Don't kill me! I just uh, missed you???"
You pinch the bridge of your nose, "Of course you did. You know that if you go somewhere you need to tell someone, especially with taking little Tuk here. I'm not mad, but just, don't wander off without saying a word alright? It's still dangerous out here." You bring your hand to his cheek, this time rubbing it instead of pulling at it like a pillow, "I care about you, you know that right?"
Lo'ak's tail swayed and hit the ground as it did so, nodding his head in understanding, "I'm sorry.."
You shook your head, "no, don't apologize, just, try your best alright? You can also notify me whenever you go somewhere. Now come on you two, we got dinner to catch, don't we?" You pat both of their shoulders, before pulling away and sprinting away.
"Last to get to High Camp gets the tiniest piece of dessert!"
All those years of tormenting yourself, closed off, blinded by anger and sadness. Letting the negative emotions consume you whole. You didn't know what you lived for or why you lived. Negative thoughts taking over your rational way of thinking.
Why did he leave me?
He won't return for me.
Is there something wrong with me?
Did he hate me?
You didn't know what to live for, but now.
"We're back!!" Tuk barged into their shared hut, followed by you and Lo'ak. Neytiri was in a crouched position as she readied the table, but got up once she heard the familiar voice of her daughter, "where were you?! Your father and Neteyam are looking for you as we speak!" She made her way towards Lo'ak, "and you skxawng! What were you thinking bringing your little sister with you!"
Lo'ak's ears point downwards as he got scolded, but you and Tuk soon intervene, "Don't be too hard on him, mother. He can be, unintentionally, reckless. I already talked with him." You explained as you stepped in front of your little brother, putting your hand on his back as you smacked his skin. Tuk stumbled to the front too as she nodded her head, "sis talked to him! And I wanted to explore as well, it's not only on him. It's not so fun to be here the entire day while there is an entire world to explore!"
Neytiri had her hand to her head, shaking her head as the words sunk in, "Lo'ak, Tuk, get to the main grounds to get our dinner."
They obliged to her wishes as they took off, leaving you alone with your mother. You bit the bottom of your lip as you awaited for whatever was to come.
"Are you okay, child?" She put her hand on your shoulder as she spoke. You nodded immediately at her question, "Don't worry, mother. I just needed a quiet place to think, you know?" You smiled softly at the affection. It took Neytiri a while to fully open up to you, flinching every now and then and subconsciously hissing whenever you approached her. The avatar body seemed to help her open up to you, though.
She nodded her head at your words and pulled away from you, "are you going to eat, with us?" You glanced to the table at her question, counting the place she had placed down. Eight plates. You had to stop a smile from appearing on your face, before nodding your head, "Yes, yes I am."
"There you are, was lookin' for ya." Your feet dangled in the air as you sat on a tree branch, mask sitting back on your face. You turned around once you heard that familiar voice, smiling at your father as you pat the branch empty space next to you.
"You disappeared right after dinner. Went looking for you. Didn't know I had to look for a tiny ant instead." Jake sat down next to you with a teasing grin, his palm raising to stroke your hair.
You scoffed at that remark, trying to push his arm away from you, "shut up, old man. I'm not a kid anymore."
"You'll always be my little girl."
Once you looked up at his face, you had noticed he was already staring at you with so much love and care in his eyes.
"This is so embarrassing.." you mumbled from under your mask as you hid your face into his arm. He could only chuckle in response. A peaceful silence took over, the sound of the wind rustling the leaves around you ringing through your ears.
After a few moments, Jake had opened his mouth, "thank you."
You could only look up at him confused, not speaking as you waited for him to explain himself. ", for giving me another chance." He breathed out from under his breath and even though it came out as a mumble, you heard the words loud and clear.
"You're my dad, after all."
The two of you exchanged a smile, before you turned back to look at the scenery, the sun saying goodnight as the moon decided to rise and shine.
"Dad!" Neteyam climbed through the trees with Lo'ak on his heels. The two brothers had sparkles in their eyes as they made their way to the two of you.
"Awee, why did you shrink back?" Lo'ak almost pouted as he pointed your human form out. You could only roll your eyes to visibly show him how you felt about that question.
"Did something happen, boys?" Jake had turned around, voice laced in worry and tenderness as he scanned his boys for any injuries.
"No, we are fine! Uhm we just had the ides to.. Neteyam!" Lo'ak smacked his older brother with his tail, earning a hiss in return.
"You sxwang!" Neteyam threw his arm around his brother's shoulders, before turning to their father, "we wanted to do a... night flight, actually." His ears turned downwards as he suddenly got all shy. His canines dug into his bottom lip as he awaited for his answer.
You smiled at the scene in front of you. This was your cue.
You yawned loudly as you got up from your sitting position, arms stretching as you spoke, "I'm going back to the lab. I'm so exhausted. Have fun! Make sure to bring me a gift." You hugged your father goodnight, soon turning to your not-so-little brothers and also giving each an individual hug, which turned out in them bearhugging you instead.
You watched as the three of them flew off, shuddering at the cold air that came your way from their wings.
Once arriving at the lab, you soon walked to your shared room with Seb and Raja, who were fast asleep as you entered the room. You shook your head with a chuckle as you were met with their snores. You took your bresthing mask off and hung it above your bed, taking a seat on the soft mattress to take a breather and daydream about your day. You trained, played around in your avatar body, ate dinner with your family and connected a lot with nature. A successful day in your eyes.
Thanks to all the activities, you were worn out and soon fast asleep in your bed.
It was late at night as your bedroom door opened, heavy yet quiet footsteps entering the room in just one singular step. He kneeled down, putting a small object on your nightstand and leaning down to kiss you goodnight.
On the object hung a piece of paper with human writing.
'Nete and Lo'ak found this feather. I tried to make it into a hairpiece. Goodnight my little girl.
- love, dad.'
A/N: this is it. The end of the series. My posting schedule went from daily to irregular and I had a lot of blocks in between posting having internal fights with my love for writing and/or under how much pressure I was. I wanted to add more to the ending, but with some help from someone close to me I realized I had told everything I wanted with this story and that I shouldn't force myself to add more than needed. Thank you all so much for being patient and reading this story as it went. I'm planning to pickup writing oneshots again and hope to feel more love when I write rather than pressure. So, until then! <3

Part two
~~~
Being the strongest is everyone's dream but in Satoru Gojo's experience, almost nothing good ever came of it. He would know, of course. The strongest sorcerer, the bearer of the Six Eyes, lived with a mountain of regrets.
What did it mean to be the strongest if he couldn't save everyone? What did it mean to be the strongest if he ended up alone? What did it mean to be the strongest if, in his lifetime of darkness, he had to leave the only light in his life that stood in the shape of you?
Satoru Gojo was not just a victim of the title of being the strongest. He was also a victim of his ancestral rivalry with another one of the three great clans in Jujutsu society.
The Zenin clan was known for its strength, even surpassing the strength of the Gojo clan as a whole. But there is not a single person, sorcerer or not, that could surpass Satoru Gojo just yet.
You were the closest one to it.
When Satoru enrolled in the Tokyo branch of Jujutsu High, you were brought to study in the Kyoto branch. The only time you had ever had to interact with him was during the Goodwill Events that had taken place over the course of both your high school years.
Even then, neither one of you had gotten any closer past simple acquaintances. But, you had always held a deep dislike towards the bearer of the Six Eyes.
The Zenin clan may be known to the entire Jujutsu World but the workings of the clan were hidden beneath words of their strength. You experienced it first-hand.
Having been born a woman in the Zenin clan, you were doomed to a certain type of future from the start. Much like your mother and many other women in the clan, you were forced to succumb to a childhood of serving the men of the clan.
Falling victim to their selfish needs and desires, you were submitted to their way of life. Always having to listen to their constant rambles and complaints, you were trained to heed their orders like servants.
And since many in the clan held dislike and hatred towards Satoru, you couldn't help but share their sentiment, having embedded in you that you should hate the heir to the man who once killed your ancestor.
After high school had ended, Satoru became a teacher. Your own classmates had pursued their dreams and aspirations to become sorcerers.
You, however, were stuck with the system of your clan.
You were truly a strong sorcerer, bearing an extremely powerful cursed technique but you weren't a full-time sorcerer. Or rather, you weren't allowed to.
However, there were special cases in which a mission was much too difficult or complicated that the higher-ups would request a partnership from you. Oftentimes, you were partnered up with Satoru.
Satoru Gojo was a man of too many words. His laidback personality and carelessness often swirled your blood with anger.
His never-ending rambles about nothing often had you wishing your ears were torn off. His routine of disrespecting the higher-ups was truly insufferable, leaving you as collateral damage in certain missions.
But the one thing about Satoru Gojo that truly had you crashed out with an unknown mix of emotions was the fact that above all of that, Satoru Gojo remained a caring man.
Even to you, his supposed enemy.
The girl from the Zenin clan, yet another one of them that fell nimbly to the words of the sadistic men in power. He hated weaklings and you were one of them, in that sense. But he never seemed to hate you.
No one outside the clan knew how the women of Zenin were treated. But Satoru Gojo could have guessed. And his guesses turned to knowledge.
Since Satoru Gojo knew that, it would have meant that he knew you.
So despite your glares and hurtful jabs at him, he never took any of them seriously. If anything, he made sure you could always feel comfortable to act that way around him.
Even more than that, you've witnessed him in action countless times over the missions you were both partnered up on. Without even realizing it, you somehow grew a fondness in your heart in the color of his eyes, respect taking place somewhere in there.
But he was a Gojo.
And you were a Zenin.
You were both fated to be enemies, to hate one another.
You had to always remind yourself that.
Every single ti-
"Hi," his honey-trailed voice appeared in front of you, his lips wearing a cheeky smile while his hand splayed out in a wave.
"Where the hell were you? We were supposed to leave 20 minutes ago," you seethed, eyes sending him a glare.
"Relax," he dismissed with a wave of his hand before entering the car.
"Relax? We were waiting for 20 minutes!" you nagged, your words falling right into deaf ears.
You followed after him and took a seat, closing the door with slight aggression and annoyance to the man next to you who seemed to disregard anyone else's sense of time and urgency. You leaned your head on your fist, resting neatly by the door of the car.
Your eyes followed the blurred images of the road outside, pops of colors merely to you. In a few hours, the car halted to a stop, the sky already a deep shade of blue with brightened stars illuminating the night sky.
The door of the car clicked open as you pushed it away and took a step out of the vehicle, Satoru doing the same thing on the other side. You walked to the back of the car, meeting him there while your driver opened up the boot.
Reaching out, you took your bag and waited by the sidewalk. You sent a friendly wave to the driver, watching as he drove the dark-colored car away. Turning around, your gaze lifted to the modern building that was the hotel that had been booked for you and Satoru to stay the night.
"Oh, and just so you know, they only booked us one room," Satoru grinned, sparing you a glance with his covered eyes.
Your own pair of eyes widened upon hearing his words, scrambling to follow behind him as he walked first into the hotel. Part of you were skeptical, unsure whether or not you should believe Satoru's words.
But his words were proven to be the truth when you both reached the receptionist. Satoru handled the technicalities and you watched as the man handed the sorcerer two keycards.
The white-haired shaman turned to you and handed you one which you then took and kept in your pocket. Following the receptionist's words, you both turned the corner to get to the elevators, clicking on the 20th-floor button.
Silence crept upon you both as the elevator took its sweet time to reach the 20th floor but you were the first to break the silence.
"Honestly, why didn't they book us two rooms like usual?" You frowned, toying with the keycard in your pocket.
"Budget cuts," Satoru simply replied but you only met his eyes with a deadpanned look.
"Yeah, right," you let out a scoff, returning your eyes to the small monitor that showcased the current level of the elevator.
"It's the only room available," he chuckled lightly at your reaction. "It's a pretty famous hotel," he added to strengthen his words.
You hummed lowly in acceptance, eyes only focusing on the monitor. The elevator was cold and dimly lit with warm-colored lights and borders of carved wood.
Satoru's gaze fell to the floor temporarily before following your own pair of eyes to witness the white-colored numbers changing from one number to the next. A sharp release of air escaped your lips once the digital numbers displayed a precise picture of 20.
The elevator doors opened with a ding, and Satoru stayed behind to give you the way to get out first. He followed behind you as you led him down the cozy corridor, stopping in front of a wooden door that had a small plate on it with the number of your room.
You fished out the keycard from your pocket and held it gently against the metallic scanner by the handle. Instantaneously, the light on the scanner flashed a bright green color, sending a slight buzzing sensation against your fingers.
You turned down the handle and pushed it open, with Satoru immediately behind you. He placed his right palm against the wooden door, pushing it against the wall to ease you to enter the room.
A slight thud emitted from the door closing and you and Satoru took off your shoes before moving deeper into the room. The minute you did and noticed the arrangement of the room, you heard your bag meet the floor in a light thump as your jaw dropped in absolute horror.
"What in the actual fuck?" You twitched with disgust, your emotions emphasized with each passing word that slipped past your tongue.
You heard Satoru laugh from next to you, undeniably grinning like a smug little shit at your expression but it only made you angrier. One queen-sized bed was staring you right in the face, its neatness almost mocking you indirectly.
"It's just a bed, princess," he teased, walking past you and setting himself on the edge of the bed, only fueling your displeasure with that nickname he loved to use for you.
The first time he had called you by it, you were frowning at him like he was a creepy pervert inching to touch you. But he justified his choice of nickname by saying that in the Jujutsu World, you were the closest thing they would have as a princess.
It made no sense to you but apparently, it did to him. Though a lot of things were like that, you thought. Regardless, you were stuck with it.
"It's one bed, Satoru. One," you pressured, your eyes thinly glaring at him.
Like the concept of him calling you princess, this was yet another situation where you and Satoru did not make sense of things in the same way. He seemed unbothered whereas you were extremely bothered.
Shaking your head, you walked past the bed and towards the couch, placing your bag on the floor next to it. "Guess I'll take the couch, then," you mumbled with a shake of your head.
"Wait, what?" Satoru laughed, the sound a kind of harmony that washed over with familiarity but in the moment, it only added to your internal torment. "Don't be ridiculous, the bed is big enough for us both."
"As if I would ever sleep with you," you huffed, unzipping your bag to take out your toiletries and clothes for the night.
Curse the moon and the sky for having you live through this while bringing a short-sleeved t-shirt to pair with short shorts as your choice of nightwear to battle the heat of the summer night.
But you had no choice seeing as that was the only piece of clothing you brought for your sleepwear.
"Aww, you've thought about sleeping with me?" Satoru smirked with apparent humor.
You looked at him over your shoulder and scrunched your face in distress. "As if," you rolled your eyes, only earning a soft laugh from the man.
"But seriously, just share the bed," he persuaded gently, following your unpacking actions.
"I would rather step into Unlimited Void," you spat.
"Suit yourself," he shrugged though you couldn't see since your back was facing him but you could hear it in his words.
You hummed to yourself in approval and turned around, shock coursing through you upon noticing Satoru's fingers moving to unbutton his shirt.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" You almost shout at him.
"What?" He froze, taken by absolute surprise and clearly, oblivious to your discomfort. "I'm just tryna change," he shrugged mindlessly, not seeming to give a care.
"Go change in the bathroom, pervert!"
It was like Satoru's brain finally clicked to understand what you meant. Wearing his infamously annoying shit-eating grin, he provoked you.
"Don't tell me you're not the least bit curious, hmm?" His words buzzed through the room, taking a note lower than usual, his head slightly tilted in a suggestive manner.
You could feel your heart skipping a simple beat, suddenly finding it hard to breathe but you maintained your composure.
"Not. A. Single. Bit," you assured him with a pause in between words, arms crossed tightly against your chest and eyes challenging.
"Sure, princess," he clicked his tongue and looked away, somehow finally allowing you to breathe normally again but only for a moment since next, he took off his blindfold, revealing to you his familiar icy blue eyes.
It wasn't the first time you'd seen them but somehow each time, you couldn't help but grow a little feeling of jealousy at how beautiful his eyes were. But you would never admit that, especially to him.
Not in a million years.
You watched as Satoru spared you a quick glance with his angelic eyes before heading towards the bathroom. You stared forward, body frozen until you heard the bathroom door close and click with a lock.
Another sharp exhale escaped you as you turned around to sit on the couch, praying that the little thing could give you a good night's sleep. You began reading up the file for the mission tomorrow, hearing the water begin to run in the bathroom.
Once you had done your reading and research, you decided to scroll on your phone while waiting for Satoru to finish taking his shower.
Soon enough, the running water stopped and moments later, Satoru left the toilet, taking a step into the bedroom with his hair still damp, droplets of water falling onto the carpeted ground.
His towel hugged his waist almost loosely and just low enough for you to notice certain details that you should not be noticing. especially on him. You looked away quickly with hopes that he hadn't caught your staring but unfortunately, he did notice you.
As he always had.
Thankfully, he hadn't decided to torture you and remained quiet but his lips were pulled up in a toying smirk, proud of himself for being able to catch even the slightest bit of your attention.
You walked past him to enter the shower, leaving once you had finished refreshing yourself.
Satoru was laid on one side of the bed, his back upright against the headboard while his legs were stretched out in front of him, dressed in a simple shirt and sweatpants. His hair was undone, a few strands falling over his eyes that were focused on his phone.
Next to him was the case file for the mission, leaving you to make the correct assumption that he had been reading up on it to prepare for tomorrow. You walked over to the couch and took a seat, ready to go to sleep.
"Are you actually going to sleep there tonight?" Satoru spoke, his voice sounding a little annoyed.
"What's it to you?" You raised a brow, eyes unamused.
"We've got a long day tomorrow and that thing looks about as comfortable as a shoebox," he said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"I'll be fine," you shook your head and lowered your body into a lying position.
"You do not look fine," he stated, eyes unashamedly staring as you fidgeted to find comfort on the cramped furniture. You remained silent in spite but after a while of tossing and turning, Satoru couldn't take it anymore. "For goodness sake, just share the bed."
His voice was raised slightly in annoyance, causing you to sit upright with just the same amount of frustration. Your eyes glared at him, mind contemplating your decisions. But eventually, your eyes glinted in the form of defeat.
"Fine," you huffed. "Only because I'm tired," you added, walking over to the bed and placing your phone on the nightstand.
"Sure, princess," Satoru grinned in victory.
"Just make sure you stay on your side," you emphasized.
"Sure, princess," he repeated his words, a softer tone taking place as he watched you get under the blanket.
Satoru took the files that were in between the two of you and placed them on the bedside table on his side. You made yourself cozy and turned to lie on your right side, back facing Satoru.
Unbeknownst to you, his eyes were stuck on your back, the way your hair fell against the soft sheets of the pillow, revealing the nape of your neck.
Your skin showed all signs of softness, mending and warming Satoru's heart with the urge to reach over and grace it against the tips of his fingers.
His lips were parted as if ready to say something, anything, just to get everything out in the open. But his head shook slightly to remind himself of the situation that lies beneath his strictly professional relationship with you.
Because he was a Gojo.
And you were a Zenin.
He had to always remind himself that.
His mind troubled and clouded with hints of you, he got under the blanket, careful to heed your wishes of having him stay only on his side of the bed. He sent you a glance, noticing that you had already turned off the lamp on your side.
Leaning forward, he turned off the light and whispered softly against the summer air, "Goodnight."
Your heart fluttered in silence at the sound of his voice so quiet in the night, feeling so distant when he was barely a meter away from you.
"Goodnight," you responded with just as heavy of a voice as he held.
Perhaps the burden that colored your wish was the same kind that he had. But you couldn't think that.
You forbid yourself to think that.
Satoru remained lying on his back, occasionally taking side glances to your back that faced him. You were quiet, softly breathing in an attempt to sleep.
He had no idea how long it was that he stayed awake in the quiet night. It was really silent that it felt loud and wrong. He wondered if you ever lived any moment in silence.
"Hey, are you sleeping?" His voice was barely a whisper but you were barely a hand-reach away from him.
"I'm trying to," you persisted, a hint of annoyance taking place.
Satoru felt a small pang of guilt for disturbing you. He let himself forget about you for the moment, and it took so much to do that when you were just there, lying next to him.
But he settled soon, falling into slumber with peace.
Having slept alone for most of your life, you were a light sleeper, easily waking up with any hints of movement that did not belong to you. And you were asleep, you were sure of it.
But it didn't matter anymore.
Your eyes jolted open in horror at the weight on your arm. Satoru's hands gripped your arm harshly but there was a sense of gentleness underlying his skin that met yours.
You were about to turn around and wake him up to give him an earful for not staying on his side of the bed when you heard the rustling sound of him tossing and turning.
His breathing was erratic as his lips emitted mumbled words of gibberish. You turned slightly, noticing how his closed eyes were in panic, lips quivering in fear and his skin was glistened with sweat.
He was having a nightmare.
Worried, you turned, pushing away his hand that held onto you like a lifeline. You leaned over the gap that lay in between you both, your own fingers reaching over to his arm to try and hold him in place but failed since his Infinity was on.
You could only watch as your hand struggled to reach him.
"Satoru," you called softly at first but he showed no response, too entwined by the horrific pictures his mind conjured. "Satoru!" You called again, louder this time.
His eyes tore open with a desperate gasp, his body erratic before settling down. His brows were furrowed, his eyes glassy, blue color boring right into yours. He was in a state of confusion, reeling back his mind and body to calmness.
"Are you okay?" You asked, voice soft and gentle.
His eyes searched yours.
All he could find was safety in the eyes of his supposed enemy. He swallowed the lump that stuck to the back of his throat, his head slowly nodding but lacking any sign of assurance.
"I-I'm sorry," he cleared his throat, fixing his position to remain on his side of the bed, much like your previous request to him earlier in the night.
"It's fine," you shook your head, your eyes hazy as you returned back to lying on the bed.
This time, you stayed on your left side, your hands resting under your head on the pillow. You were facing him, watching him carefully as he turned to meet you in the quiet of the night. His eyes were hazy, fluttering to maintain his breathing.
You could sleep.
Forget it happened, turn around, and just go to sleep.
But instead, you stayed, examining his features with concern, almost refusing to look away until he showed even a shred of normalcy.
You could sleep.
But instead, you chose to ask him in hopes of getting his mind to return to safe comfort. "Are you okay?"
Your voice was soft and intimate, traits Satoru rarely received from you in a more normal circumstance.
But he was receiving that care now and he almost wanted to be grateful for having to relive a painful memory since it meant that he could be with you in this moment.
"Just a nightmare," he answered almost consumed by pain, his eyes blue in more ways than one.
"I didn't know the strongest sorcerer gets nightmares," you chuckle softly with a hum, a desperate attempt to lighten the mood.
His lips quivered slightly in a grateful beam but his eyes darkened almost immediately at the reminder of the visions he saw in his dreams.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" You were hesitant, feeling your words slip out against the warnings in your mind.
You noticed the way Satoru's eyes widened with uncertainty, clearly taken aback by your question. His mind was wandering to find the words while his eyes searched yours for the familiar feeling of comfort.
"It was just something that happened when I was younger," he answered with a lingering doubt.
"If you don't want to tell me, it's okay. But if you do, I'm here to listen," you said, nodding a little as if to show your sincerity. "I promise not to be a dick about it," you joked.
Satoru let out a small laugh, it was laced with bitterness and relief at the same time. "When I was younger, there was this girl," he began, eyes looking everywhere but in yours. "She was a few years younger than me and she served for my family but really, she was more like a younger sister to me."
Your lips stayed shut, allowing him to further his story.
"One day, we were out and a Curse User was targeting me and ended up killing her," he finished with choked words.
"Oh my God," your lips emitted a soft gasp, your forehead frowning. "I'm so sorry."
"It's fine," he shook his head, playing it off but it was clearly lingering heavily on his soul. "It's just- I should have saved her, you know? I should have been able to. I'm the strongest."
"You were just a kid," you said gently.
Your words had acted as an anchor, taking him away from his thoughts of self-loathing. It was enough for him to meet your eyes again.
"You are so much more and so much less than the strongest," you whispered. Your feelings for him that you had been trying to ignore and suppress poured out with just a single call of his name, "Satoru."
Satoru Gojo was the strongest sorcerer, the bearer of Six Eyes.
But even he fell victim to your words.
His eyes leaked tears, surprising himself. But what could he do?
He should be the strongest sorcerer. But you said that he was more and less than that.
Satoru couldn't take away his eyes from you even if he tried but in what world would he ever try to do that?
But you thought that his eyes were the ones that were alluring, pulling you deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole of your feelings for him, clinging onto some sort of comfort in this world.
Your hand shifted from underneath your head, slowly stretching out to him, hoping to reach him but you were stuck. Like earlier, barely inches away from his skin, your palm was stuck in the infinite way time moved around him.
With your eyes longingly staring into his, you begged, "Your Infinity. Please, turn it off."
Who was he to deny you of your wish?
A smile graces your lips momentarily, your heart skipping a beat when you no longer feel the buzz of Infinity against your skin. Just a second further, your hand ghosted the skin of his cheek.
The tips of your fingers gently traced his skin while you shifted closer to him, feeling him stiffen under your touch before relaxing.
"I'm sorry, I've never cried in front of anyone like this," he stammered out his words, his breathing shaky as he felt closer to you.
"I know," you nodded. "You're always such a pain in the ass," you added with a soft laugh.
Satoru's lips were tugged in a small smile as he sniffled. "Shut up," he said, nuzzling into your hand that rested against his cheek.
"Satoru," his name slipped out your tongue in such an effortless manner, that he thought he was named Satoru specifically for you to say it.
"Hmm?" His hum took a tone higher, desperation entangled in his breathing as his eyes fluttered.
He couldn't help the urge he felt, the need to do more than just feel your touch.
His own hand traveled to yours, holding onto your wrist. His head turned slightly, placing a soft kiss on your palm next to his cheek while his eyes held contact with yours.
"What is it?"
Your breath hitched, feeling the gentleness beneath his kiss on your palm. It was reeling you in towards him in all the ways it shouldn't.
"We both hate each other," you repeated into the air between you two.
But it was useless.
That air that you breathed into was filled with longing desperation and need for each other. Your words were meant to convince yourself more than it was meant for him.
But it wasn't working, right?
Still, Satoru only smiled, his voice low and gentle as if anything louder could ruin the undisclosed passion held tightly in a string between both your souls.
"Yeah, we do," he nodded, pulling your hand away only to lift it slightly while he turned to place yet another kiss but on your wrist this time. "But, you're still here, with me. And that- That means something to me," he confessed.
"Satoru," you whispered sweetly.
Your mind was hazy with the feel of his lips on your skin, leaving you almost desperate with want. He was feeling the same way, if not more.
He swore he could never get tired of hearing the way you said his name, so sweet and gentle. It was truly meant for you.
Satoru looked at you expectantly, eyes filled with vulnerability. He gently guided your hand to rest on his chest, pressing it against his heart.
"Can you feel me?"
His heart was beating against your hand, the pace taking a quicker one as the frequency shifted into emotions. You nodded, realizing and understanding everything that he felt, mirroring your very own.
You could hear your own heart beating in a synchronized rhythm.
"Say something," he pleaded, adding, "Please."
Your brows furrowed as you allowed yourself to stare into his eyes. "We- We shouldn't be this way," you slurred.
His forehead creased, his hold on your wrist tightening slightly. "What way?" He asked with his voice unsteady and feigning ignorance just to keep this moment alive. "We're just talking."
You feel a sliver of courage consuming you as your eyes flickered momentarily to his lips. Using your hand on his chest, you pushed yourself further above the bed to meet him.
You felt just slightly the way the tip of your nose brushed against his, creating warmth as your lips only merely ghosted over his.
"This way," you murmured, your lips moving on his but not kissing him just yet.
Satoru froze, his eyes fluttering shut as he instinctively leaned into your touch. "It's- It's bad, right?" His voice trembled, hopeless in his need for you.
"Y-yeah," you nodded, remaining where you were against him. "But," you trailed, your heart growing louder in your own ears.
His eyes opened to meet yours, confused yet longing endlessly, a hand of his reaching to tuck your hair into the back of your ear before resting it on your cheek, fighting his selfish desires to pull you straight into his lips.
"But what?"
You closed your eyes, your voice choked as if about to cry. "But I want to kiss you so bad right now," you begged, letting your gaze fall on his lips.
His heart began to race, faster than anything he's ever felt in his entire life. His resolve was already crumbling and you weren't making it any easier on him.
There was nothing but a burning ache in the way you held yourself against him.
"I- I want to kiss you, too," he confessed, shaking as he did so. A moment passed and he worded, "But we can't."
You shook your head, knowing that he was right. "We shouldn't," you said.
But you wanted to.
He wanted it, too.
But he was a Gojo.
And you were a Zenin.
You had to always remind yourself that.
And you were reminding yourself at the moment.
Still, nothing seemed to matter to you in the heat of the night when you were on the bed, only a lean away from Satoru's lips that seemed so inviting.
You knew it was wrong.
More than the fact that neither one of you had the capacity for such a connection in life, you were meant to be enemies.
Be that as it may, you still wanted more.
You wanted him.
And you wanted Satoru to kiss you anyways, damn the world.
You wanted him to tell you that he didn't care, that he wanted you more than he cared about your family.
But he didn't say that.
Instead, he nodded and pulled away, placing your hand on the bed, in the growing gap between you both.
"You're right," his voice was quiet and defeated. "I'm sorry."
You wanted to cry, but you didn't. You only nodded and turned around, letting your back face him. "It's okay," you uttered silently.
He watched with his heart aching, his own mind screaming at him. His hand instinctively reached out to you, as though he wanted to pull you back.
To have you meet his eyes.
But he refrained.
"Goodnight," he let out softly, his voice was heavily laced with defeat and self-loathing.
"Yeah, goodnight," you replied half-heartedly, feeling your eyes start to rain tears that fell onto the pillow sheet.
Satoru was fixed on your back, noticing the way your shoulders were shaking ever so slightly. He could hear faint sounds of your sniffling that you tried your hardest to hide from him.
And it broke his heart.
He was overwhelmed with guilt but he knew things wouldn't end well for you if he had done what he truly wanted to do. But he wanted to comfort you, to hold you close and never let you go.
But he was a Gojo.
And you were a Zenin.
He had to always remind himself that.
Every single ti-
"Satoru," you whispered, frozen in your position, fearful to face him in such a vulnerable state.
He hesitated, his heart racing whenever you would say his name in such a whisper. It drove him crazy.
And he should probably ignore your call, but he couldn't.
He gave in to the devil on his shoulder, almost giving in to all his selfish needs. His arms slowly snaked around you, wrapping them around your waist.
He pulled you closer against his chest.
"What is it?" He asked softly, his voice hoarse with a mix of emotions that were too jumbled up for him to even comprehend.
"Nothing," you sighed, body stiffening under his hold as you attempted to push his arms away.
But Satoru refused, selfishly tightening his hold on you.
"Don't," he murmured, his face burying itself in the crook of your neck as he pulled you flush against him. "Just- Stay like this, please," he pleaded, his words almost muffled by your own skin.
You relaxed against him, nodding as tears escaped you. "Just don't get another nightmare," you uttered softly, feeling him nod in the crook of your neck.
Satoru let himself rest, continuing to hold you tight, never intending to let you go if he could have it his way. His eyes fluttered shut, tickling the skin of your neck as he did so.
He inhaled the scent of your shampoo, lavender, and rosemary heavy in his nose. There was peace resonating around your being and he felt content just being there, holding you like this, even if it was only tonight.
He had never felt anything like that before. As you drifted off to sleep, he held you closer, his heart settling happily in his chest. Listening to your soft breathing and little snores, Satoru could feel exhaustion catching up with him and soon, he fell asleep, his arms loosely around you.
Somewhere in the middle of the night, you woke up and escaped his arms. So you lay down on your side as you faced him, watching him sleep.
He was peaceful in his slumber, clearly unaware of your gaze. He seemed relaxed, lips parted as he breathed softly and you were glad.
You studied his features, noting how many freckles graced his skin and committing every detail to memory, afraid to never be able to see him this closely again. His white strands fell so beautifully across his forehead, his chest gently rising and falling as he breathed.
Your eyes of admiration adored him truly, your hand hesitantly reaching out to him. A moment of fear washed over you, fearful that his Infinity would get in the way like how it had earlier in the night.
But a grateful sigh was elicited from your lips once your soft fingers felt him, tracing them over his cheek while you prayed that he wouldn't wake up.
He stirred slightly, eyes fluttering beneath his eyelids, causing you to freeze, your breath caught in your airway and your fingers stopped in place.
After a moment, he settled again and you breathed a sigh of relief as you pulled your hand to rest it under your head. There was a small smile tugging at your lips as you relished the sight of his beauty.
Soon, you fell victim to slumber just as he had.
Within a few hours, Satoru woke up, finding himself under your hold. You were curled up against him, your arms wrapped around his waist and your head resting on his chest. You were still asleep, not at all noticing that he had woken up despite his body stirring slightly.
It was weird, he thought.
You had mentioned before that you were a light sleeper yet here you were, oblivious and asleep. Not to mention, you had easily woken up earlier that night when Satoru had a nightmare.
But you were still against him, your head nuzzling further into the warmth of his chest, the blanket entangled between both of your bodies.
Satoru used this opportunity to wrap his arms around you, almost protective as he buried his face in your hair, inhaling the smell of your lavender and rosemary shampoo, scents that now had become a familiarity to him.
He had no idea how long he stayed like that but he did not care.
If life would for once be kind to him, he could live in this moment forever but life was not that generous.
Because eventually, you woke up, your eyes being met with the color of Satoru's shirt. He allowed your body to shift slightly, his heart skipping a beat when you didn't push him away immediately. His gaze lowered, meeting yours that were tilted up.
"Hi," he greeted softly with a smile so beautiful and genuine that for once reached his eyes.
It was the first time you'd ever seen him this happy.
Your eyes blinked a few times, your mind still foggy and confused. "Hi," you said. "What are you doing?"
His grip on you tightened but it was still so gentle like he was afraid to let you go but also afraid to hurt you. "I should ask you the same thing," he said, his lips grinning with a glint of teasing in his eyes. "Why are you wrapped around me like a little vine?"
"Hmm?" You shook your head, not really understanding him. "What are you talking about?"
His lips parted as he let out a small chuckle, finding your cluelessness and fogginess from having just woken up cute. He looked down to where your arms were wrapped around his waist.
"You're hugging me," he pointed out, causing you to follow his gaze. "I guess you did it in your sleep. When I woke up, you were already like this," he explained softly. "And I'm not pushing you away," he admitted, his face flushed.
"Oh," you muttered, nuzzling your head against his chest as you closed your eyes. "Can we stay like this a bit longer?" Your voice was soft, almost as if you were afraid of doing such a thing.
And maybe you were.
Because you knew you shouldn't.
But there he was, so gentle with you and so warm in all the right ways, you couldn't help but allow yourself to be a little selfish. And Satoru was shocked that you hadn't pulled away.
If anything, you only pulled him closer to you.
"Just a little longer, okay?" He whispered above your head, nodding gently as he placed a kiss on your hair.
You took in the warmth that Satoru could provide you, the kind of warmth you lacked over all your years alive. A shaky breath escaped him, his fingers gently carding through your hair as he got lost in thought only to pull himself back to reality.
Because his thoughts were depressing, reminding him over and over again that neither of you should be doing this way.
Whereas in reality, he was holding you and you were holding him.
Even if it would end soon and never happen again, he didn't care.
At least he got to hold you, to feel you against him.
But that ended, not long after, when you finally pulled away from him and he had no choice but to let you go, arms dropping to his sides as he sat up.
Avoiding your gaze, he reminded, "That can't happen again."
You mimicked his actions, sitting upright against the headboard. Your knees were folded, brought up against your chest tightly as your arms hugged around them.
You looked down but nodded in agreement. "It won't."
He nodded, his jaw clenched with regrets but he knew this was for the best.
There was not a universe where the two of you could actually be together.
He got off the bed and walked over to his bag, creating even more distance between the two of you. It was a distance that he hated.
He wished to just turn back and kiss you deeply until neither of you could breathe. But doing that would only hurt you in the end.
You were the one trapped under the claws of the Zenin clan.
"I'm going to take a shower," he informed, his tone plain and blunt.
"Okay," you mumbled quietly, waiting until he entered the bathroom before letting your head fall to the valley between your folded knees, tears slowly escaping as you cursed at yourself for having lost your composure and allowing yourself to care for him.
Satoru let the water run through his body, wishing it was your hands instead. His body fell limp, leaning his back against the bathroom wall, his head tilted back to rest as well.
His eyes were closed shut, his emotions overwhelming him. Hidden by the loud sound of the shower, he hit the back of his head against the wall, his lips emitting a curse of both pain and frustration.
He knew he had to pretend it never happened. He had to return to his usual self whenever he was with you, in a professional manner. And you knew it, too.
You had to go back to hating him.
Satoru soon emerged from the bathroom and you immediately walked past him to shower. You didn't even spare a glance at the man, worried you wouldn't be able to control yourself when seeing him in such a suggestive state.
"Hurry up," he reminded you just before you could close the door.
"I will," you replied with a hint of annoyance in your attempt to return to your Satoru Gojo-hating self.
At your tone, Satoru couldn't help but let a bitter smile adorn his lips. You were trying to return things back to normal, too. This was all for the best, right?
But if it was for the best, then why didn't it feel right at all?
Once he got dressed, he took a seat on the edge of the bed, scrolling through his phone to check if there were any updates about the case.
Once you got out of the shower, already wearing your uniform, you took a seat next to him but there was some distance, both of you careful not to recreate the scene from the night.
"Any updates?" You asked casually.
"No," he shook his head and kept his phone in his pocket.
"Shall we go? We could grab breakfast on the way to the location," you suggested, finally turning to meet him.
And for once, you were glad that he was wearing his blindfold, obstructing your view of his eyes. He looked at you with an unreadable expression before nodding in agreement.
"Sounds good," he shrugged with his lips pursed.
The both of you stood up and he let you walk first, following behind you right after as you put on your shoes and opened the door.
The elevator ride was just as slow as it was last night, the numbers staring back at you mockingly as if to remind you just how silent and still everything was and how big the confinement was yet you felt too cramped, stuck with Satoru.
You bit your inner cheek, your fingers fumbling with the hem of your uniform nervously. Your eyes fluttered in relief when the elevator stopped somewhere on the 11th floor, the doors opening up for a family of 4 to enter.
The woman flashed you a bright smile as she led her daughter in by the hand, her husband and their other daughter following suit. But that relief you felt was truly just a momentary occasion when Satoru neared you, making room for the family.
Satoru's hand was slender as his fingers wrapped around his phone, his left hand buried deep within his pocket while his right foot pressed up against the elevator wall to rest. He was the definition of casual, you thought.
But when the family of 4 was settling and the doors of the elevators were closing, Satoru's head turned and his gaze fell on you. Behind the fabric of his blindfold, his eyes had widened to see that you were staring up blankly at him already.
His lips relaxed into a soft smile but it faltered once he realized that, unlike his eyes, there was nothing to cover his lips.
Your eyes blinked a few times before letting your gaze fall forward, hints of disappointment on the tip of your tongue when you felt his Infinity acting as the barrier between you.
The elevator let out a ding to announce that you had arrived on the ground floor. You and Satoru waited until the family got out first before taking your own steps.
Walking past the lobby doors, you and Satoru were silent. The air felt fresh but the summer heat did make itself known as you walked past shops, eyes peeled for a cafe.
"What about this?" Satoru stopped, gesturing to the cafe.
"Sure," you shrugged mindlessly, following behind him as he opened the door for you to enter. "I'll go find a seat, just get me whatever," you murmured lowly, earning a nod from the man.
You found a table that had two empty chairs and took a seat. After some time of scrolling meaninglessly on your phone, your head perked up, looking around as you realized that Satoru was taking too long.
Concern colored your eyes that scanned the front of the cafe and you noticed him, standing in all his tall beauty, his white hair poking out as his back faced your direction. Tilting your head a little, you could watch the scene unfolding from the distance.
His right palm was leaning on the counter, holding his weight above it. His lips were tugged in a friendly grin, gaze towards the cashier.
The woman behind the counter wore pink cheeks, her lips cheeky and excited. You lowered your gaze slightly, noticing the way the woman's hands were atop Satoru's.
His lips were moving, telling the woman something that caused her to blush even harder and laugh louder in a squeaky giggle. You couldn't help the way your eyes rolled obnoxiously as you watched the scene from your seat.
Bubbling up under your skin, jealousy took place and spread itself all throughout your body. If only your cursed technique could do more than just manipulate frequencies, like maybe allowing you to have some sort of super hearing so you could listen to their conversation.
But you couldn't do that so instead, you only returned your gaze to your phone when Satoru was beginning to leave the counter. You pretended to be surprised by his arrival at the table, sitting across you as if you weren't literally watching the way he was unashamedly flirting with the cashier.
"What the fuck are these?" You blurted, deadpanned as you looked at the pastries to the man sitting in front.
"Breakfast," he quipped happily, taking a peach strudel happily.
"Satoru, this is not breakfast," you blinked, watching the way his lips fell like a sad puppy, the sight cute as it caused your heart to flutter warmly.
"What do you mean?"
"They're all sweet," you frowned with raised brows.
"Yeah. I eat stuff like this every day."
"For breakfast?"
"Yeah," he nodded.
"That cannot be healthy," you exhaled, shaking your head slightly before reaching for the plain butter croissant to start with.
He enjoyed his 'breakfast' happily and silently just as you did, your eyes wandering the cafe to watch other customers. You thanked the waitress when she came over to place both your drinks and you smiled softly upon tasting the bitter taste of the hot cappuccino with vanilla syrup.
"How'd you know this was my favorite?" You hummed while taking another sip of the hot beverage.
"You told me once", he said casually, leaving you dumbfounded but appreciating his gesture.
Silence took place as you both finished your breakfast and left the cafe and you definitely couldn't ignore the cashier's overly excited voice as she thanked you both for coming.
The walk to the location was silent, too, which was uncharacteristically Satoru.
You had always known him to talk your ear off but his lips were pursed in a thin line. And surely, you knew why.
But you definitely didn't know that he was fighting the urge to just press his lips against yours. You were always complaining to him that he talks too much, surely you wouldn't mind shutting him up that way?
He shook his head, regaining his senses of reality. Thankfully, the both of you had arrived at the abandoned warehouse that was said to be the headquarters for the cult you were investigating.
"I'll go in first while you put up a Veil," Satoru instructed, earning a nod and an eye roll from you due to his spatting of orders. "Follow up after me."
"Emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure," you uttered before watching the sky and the surroundings take a darker color to resemble night.
You left your spot to go and find Satoru, soon finding him hiding behind a wall. "I think those are the followers," he informed, allowing you to glance inside and see many people standing in white cloth.
Both of you watched the followers of the cult begin to ascend the stairwell in a line, much like predicted.
"I'll check to find out how many guards there are." You closed your eyes, letting your ears trace the trails of cursed energy by listening to the frequency. "There's about 3 guards in each wing," you pointed.
The plan went smoothly and the mission ended successfully though it was nearing night, not a shocker to anyone considering that it was you and Satoru who handled the case.
You both headed back to the hotel, ready to pack your things and go home but your tracks were frozen in place as your hands flew to cover your ears, a ringing pain appearing.
Heeseung held your gaze as if he were frozen in time and space. The sexual tension burned like firey flames from your hearts. But nothing could have prepared you for this moment.
The moment when his delicate lips would meet yours.
The moment your lives would change forever...
Heeseung had called you the night before to make plans for today.
"There's something I want to talk to you about," he whispered softly, "In person..." his words trailed off.
What could be so important that he couldn't just tell you over the phone. Heeseung rarely blew things out of proportion, which left you curious. Wondering what he wanted to talk about.
Somehow you managed to tuck your curiosity away in the deepest part of your mind for the majority of the day as the two of you hung out together. Though you couldn't deny the fact that he had done a great job keeping you distracted.
"Hey, what do you think about this?" he giggled as he turned around to show you a pair of oversized glasses.
"I think you look like a clown," you chuckled back, watching as a bright smile grew across his face.
"Him, you're right. Maybe they'd look better on you," he said as he walked closer to you, placing the glasses on your face. His expression softened as you adjusted the glasses yourself.
"I probably look even dumber than you," you scoffed lightly, pulling your lips into a slight smirk. You watched as Heeseung's eyes followed your movements. "Uhh..." you started, cutting through the silence. "You okay?"
"Yeah," he smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm just a little hungry. How about we go get something to eat?" He asked.
"Sure, what're you in the mood for?"
"Pizza?"
"Wow! I'm surprised you didn't say ramen," you said in an attempt to keep the conversation going.
"Well, I only like it when I make it," he smiled. "It's not like I can really make my own pizza," he chuckled as the two of you walked off.
After sunset, you and Heeseung walked across Brooklyn Bridge. You loved how it lit up at night, the lights mimicking the stars in the sky that were harder to see out here.
Heeseung knew how much you loved stargazing, but couldn't do it anymore after relocating to such a big city. The sense of longing washed over you as you walked across the metallic structure.
"What?" you asked as you felt Heeseung's gaze on you.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about something."
"Does it have anything to do with that thing you wanted to tell me last night?" your question hung in the air for a bit before Heeseung let out a sigh.
"Uhh...yeah, but I'd rather talk about it in private," he said as the two of continued your walk across the bridge before entering Cadman Plaza Park.
The air was cool and moist, and the streetlights highlighted small puddles of water that pooled near the botanical arrangements. At this point, you had just noticed that Heeseung was holding your hand.
You walked with him under a set of trees, away from the other few people who were also enjoying a night walk in New York.
You lied down in the grass next to Heeseung as you peaked through the tree branches to see the night sky bleeding through.
"____..."
"Yeah?"
"You know that thing I wanted to tell you?" He rolled onto his side to face you, propping his body up on his elbow.
You waited patiently for him to speak, as you could see his shy side coming out. He bit his lip softly before continuing.
"I-I don't want this to ruin our friendship or anything, but," he paused, playing with the grass between his fingers. "I really like you...and I have for a long time."
To be honest, you had liked Heeseung from the beginning, but you settled for a friendship rather than a relationship and you still didn’t know why.
He looked embarrassed as hell. You took a little too long to respond, leaving an uncomfortable amount of silence in the atmosphere.
“Sorry,” he mumbled. “Just forget I said anything,” he continued before lying down on his back, closing his eyes after taking a deep breath.
A thought crossed your mind and you weren’t gonna be stupid enough to let it pass by. You leaned over to kiss Heeseung’s lips.
His cheeks were slightly red his doe eyes jumped open when you placed your hand on his chest. “I like you too, and I have for a long time now,” you smiled.
His lips formed into a smile as he pulled your face into his, kissing you again. You straddled his body as he gripped onto your waist, pulling your body closer to his. You slowly rocked back and forth, feeling him grow harder beneath you.
Though you had just started, the sexual tension was strong now and your movements excited him. It was obvious by the way he sat up and breathlessly gasped for your touch.
Your tongues intertwining as he moved down to your neck. “Maybe we should continue this somewhere else,” he chuckled softly against the wetness on your neck as you reached to palm his bulge.
“Yeah, you’re probably right about that,” you said looking at his flushed face and ruffled hair. “Would it be weird if I said you look hotter with your hair like this,” you smirked.
“Not weird, but definitely enticing. Makes me wonder what you would look like all flustered and messy,” he said before kissing your lips again.
~UnSafe~
|Poppy has a nightmare about Branch (They have phones in this oneshot)|.
Also, I wrote that this when I was half asleep. Ur welcome again😎
Rinngggg!!! Rinnnnggg!! RIIIIINNN--
Branch groaned, not fully awake, annoyed, as he turned onto his stomach on his bed and answered his phone, not bothering to check who was calling.
Whoever it was, he was going to kill them.
"Branch?" a worried voice asked.
Branch lifted his eyebrows. "Poppy?" He sat up, alarmed. "Why are you calling?! Are you alright?"
"I just wanted to say hi," Poppy said simply.
Branch was skeptical. "At three in the morning?"
"Yeah." He heard her shuffle through the phone. She was hiding something.
"Okay. What's wrong?" he asked.
"Uhh..." Poppy sounded unsure. "Branch...? Do you have...nightmares?"
Branch sighed with relief. "Of course. I sometimes even have them daily. Why? Did you have one?"
"Pfftt." Poppy scoffed through the phone. "I'm Queen Poppy! I don't have time for silly little nightmares!"
"What was it about?" Branch asked, ignoring her.
"You." Poppy immediately admitted.
Branch would have grinned and teased if it wasn't for her response. "Me?"
"Yeah." Poppy sighed. "It was terrible."
"What happened in the dream?" Branch urged.
Poppy gave a breath, as if she had meant to try to forget it instead of remember again. "Well...we had a fight over something silly-- I can't remember what. Then you left and walked through the forest to calm down. I hadn't seen you for three days before I decided to look for you.
"I had thought you hadn't come to see me for a while because you were still mad, but you weren't in your bunker. Eventually we found you hurt and injured from a fall in the forest. A snake had bitten you and no one was around to hear your cry for help. And you..."
She stopped, to Branch's relief. This dream was dark. He had dark dreams, but he never thought innocent Poppy vould.
"I was worried," Poppy added. "So I called you. Just to double check."
Branch smiled. About three years ago, Poppy would never have double-checked if she had dreamed of that. Heck, she wouldn't even had dreamed of him. He was one of the last things she had thought of, probably.
"Well, don't worry. I'm fine."
"Are you home?" she asked quietly.
"No. I'm in the forest."
"What?!! Branch, get out before--!!!"
Branch laughed. "I'm kidding! I'm at home in bed right now."
He could almost hear her scowl. "Branch, that's not funny."
He was enjoying how much she was worried over him. It was... nice. He felt extremely loved.
Branch laughed still.
"And there are no snakes in your room?" Poppy asked.
"Don't be ridiculous," Branch responded . "Of course not."
"Did you check under your bed?" she also asked.
"I didn't check anywhere."
"Can you check?" Poppy suggested softly.
"Poppy, I don't think --" Branch began.
"Please, Branch?" Poppy begged.
"Oh, okay." Branch got up. He wasn't used to Poppy being the one over-the-top worried instead of him. He was finding way more fun in it than he felt he should have.
"Nope. No snakes!" Branch announced to his girlfriend over the phone, checking under his bed.
"Good." Poppy was quiet. "Can you not hang up?"
"I won't until you say goodbye, Poppy," he chuckled.
"No, I mean not at all. Like, stay on the phone for the rest of the night."
Branch frowned. "Poppy, we both need sleep."
"I know, but it's be easier for me to sleep if I heard you basically still breathing," Poppy told him. "If not, then I would have to call you multiple times tonight to check up with you. "
Branch was surprised. "Well... I guess so. But you need to promise to go to sleep yourself, alright?"
"Okay," she said in a small voice.
"Okay. Goodnight."
"'Night."
It was quiet on the phone for a bit while Branch closed his eyes and tried to sleep.
"Branch? You still there?"
He tossed awake after a few seconds of sleep. "Huh, oh, yeah. Yep, still here. Not going anywhere."
"Okay." After a few minutes, she called again, "Branch?"
Branch was more than half asleep and just hummed in response.
"Are you okay?" Poppy asked.
"Yup." Branch managed to respond. "Go to sleep."
After a while, through his sleep, he heard Poppy's soft breaths through the call as she drifted off to sleep.
Immediately, he bolted up. Here she was worrying about him and snakes when she could possibly be in a house full of snakes right then and there!
He needed to make sure she was okay. "Poppy!!"
He heard her jolt up through the phone. "Mhm?"
Branch leaned forward and closer to the phone. "I was thinking, you may be unsafe too. Your pod is right next to that nest of snake eggs I saw a few days ago! I need you to come over and sleep here with me otherwise I swear that I'm never going to get any sleep at all."
He heard her smile through her words, "I'm coming. Cuz then it's be easier for me to check on you as well."
"Good. I'll see you here in fifteen. Okay?"
"Yes, totally." Poppy grinned and sang, "I love you."
"I love you too. And, Poppy?"
"Yes?"
"Get here safe."
"Okay." Poppy giggled. "I will. To make sure you live through the night."
They both laughed a bit through the phone .
damsel in distress | itadori ͏⸺ one shot
͏⸺ Among the trees, alive with woes and heartaches, tall enough to almost reach up to the sky and something magical in the cold air as the silent forest almost seem to be enchanted, the young boy with the pink hair imagined how many adventures and stories those tall trees must have seen. A heavy sigh escaped the mouth of Yuji as his white shoes sinked into the soft grassy hill, that made the boy's breathing difficult as the calm air blowed a gentle breeze through his light hair before he muttered in another voice than usual "we should split up"
"such a stupid idea…" Yuji commented with an annoyed look on his prominent face as he kicked against the little rock, causing it to roll a couple inches away from him as he puts his hands in the pockets of his pants "have they never seen a horror movie?"
Yuji wanted his life to be an adventure, traveling far and abroad, stretching his legs out over the seas, improving that he could be more than just a vessel for the king of curses, that he wanted to help the world to be a better place and yet it only felt like he was trying to escape what was meant to be his path, to be a vessel with the destiny to be destroyed, which soul was meant to die before it found it’s place to be and the reason why everything was meant to be.
"a stupid idea…" the pink hair boy mocked but before he could finish his sentence a oddly pathetic scream teared him out of his thoughts.
The boy didn’t even hesitated as he heared the frightened cry out of help, of chivalry and sheer noblesse, he runned through the mossy grass like windborne blossoms nearing himself to the echoing scream and Yuji didn’t even thought about which dangerous curses could lingered behind those tall trees, about which strange powers they could possess. Like a haunting symphony he followed the wildflowers into the depths of the forest, adrenaline floating through his veins as he knew he couldn’t return without knowing if everyone is safe, and even if his feet’s couldn’t hold his weight any longer he would crawl on his knees to keep anyone safe.
A exhausted moan rustled behind those thick green bushes, as Yuji's hand carefully pushed a couple of the branches to the side to peak through the little gap in the bush.
The delicate hem around your ankles soaked the muddy water into the material of your purple dress as you quickly rushed over the stones under the water of the creek, your hair bounced with every step you made and as soon as your pretty eyes dared to see back over your shoulder, your feet stepped onto one of the mossy stones, causing you to slip to your knees into the water.
"Running away from me, I see" a smoky laugh made the boy's ears perk up as he saw a gigantic blue hand grabbing you by your waist and pulling you up into the air.
Roughly you slammed you hand against the back of the gigantic blue hand, that was tightly wrapped around your waist as you tried to kick him with your feet’s when you scoffed unimpressed "you ruined by dress, Nessus"
The gigantic curses chuckled as he brought you closer to his face you could already smell the decay on his grey flaky tongue and see the plaguing hunger lingering behind his black eyes, when suddenly a boy with pink hair stepped in front of one of the blueberry bushes "excuse me, would you mind to release.."
"keep moving boy" you interrupted the boy as you rolled your eyes while you relaxed yourself under the grip of the curses, as Yuji studied you with a gap between his lips and his eyes twitched "but you’re a damsel in distress"
Recursing a damsel in distress, a shining knight becoming a glorious hero, fixing hearts that are broken as his sensei Gojo taught him.
"I can handle this" you replied with a sarcastic smile on your lips, when a grin hushed over the lips of the curse as he looked down at the young sorcerer, who cleared his throat and stepped a bit closer "uhh, i think it’s my duty to.."
Another exhausted moan escaped your mouth as you lean your head into your palm "move boy"
"hey, if you didn’t noticed I’m trying…"
A rough punch against his guts made him tumble a couple steps back, letting him fall onto his butt into the cold water of the creek as his wet hair fell into his face and some of the water dripping down the corners of his lips as he split out the dirty water out of his mouth.
The glit of grueling anger filling the eyes of Yuji as he crudely pushed up the sleeves of his uniform before he muttered quitely to himself "you can do this, itadori"
"Giving up already?" the curse mocked the young sorcerer as he swinged you in the air, but before his enormous eyes could fall onto the jujutsu sorcerer he was punched roughly into his bloated stomach, causing the curse to let go of you and falling a couple inches deeper into the creek, when Yuji gently wrapped his arm around your hips, so you didn’t fell into the water again. Carefully he guided you to a rock near the edge of the bay as he sends a apologizing smile to you "I’m back in a minute"
There wasn’t a way to hide the grin on your lips as you silently watched the young jujutsu sorcerer fighting against the curse with which you still have to pay off your debts, there was something exiting within the way Yuji moved, how his muscles flexed around his armes under the wet material of his uniform and how his pink hair fell down into his tired face, while his jaw was clenched. Even though you knew you could easily win against Nessus, you let Yuji have his little win, while you leaned over the edge of the little creek drenching out your soaked hair till he finished his business.
"so you’re alright?" the boy asked a bit flustered as he watched you lean over the edge of the water, rubbing over the back of his neck with the wet palm of his neck, trying to hide the exhaustion of fighting the curse.
A seductive smile crosses your plump lips as you gently straighten your back and moved a bit closer to him, till your soft fingertips could brush away those strains in his face "I’m y/n y/l"
"yuji" he stuttered a bit and tried to hide it with a panicky laugh "Yuji Itadori"
With a amused look on your face you moved a couple steps away from him, turning your back to him to drench the hem of your dress and as soon as you turned back around, yuji had already leans his body against one of the large trees and crossed his arms over his chest "so, how got you mixed up with this…"
"Well you know how men are. They think no means yes and get lost means take me I’m yours" you rolled your eyes as studied the boys face, letting your fingers brush under his chin holding it a bit up.
You couldn’t deny that he was gorgeous, even if you should feel this way.
"well thank you for everything, Itadori" you give him a little wink and saluted before you pulled your hand carefully back and walked over the soft grass, but his desperately voice holded you back “wait.. are you sure you wanna go alone?"
Again a satisfied smile crosses over your lips as you looked over your shoulder, noticing how one of the straps of your dress had slipped down before your eyes moved onto the boy behind you "I’m big and tough and I tie my own shoes, don’t worry about me”
"Am I going to see you again?" Yuji didn’t wanted to sound as desperate as now, but he could miss the chance of seeing you again.
Like dripped in honey a laugh escaped your mouth as you moved between the trees "if you find me"
Yuji swore he would find you again, but he didn’t knew you were on of the most dangerous curses he’ll ever met.
the mistake
Still post-finale, still Agatha. Rio makes a mistake. Agatha is very sexy. Some flirting, some angst and a few jokes. Going with a headcanon here that Agatha has made a contract to kill people for Death in exchange for her life, which is why she does so much murder.
It was 1942 when Rio made the mistake.
Agatha was setting up, drawing a circle, readying herself for her new ‘coven’ to arrive, humming the ballad to herself. Rio, sitting in a tree, was humming along.
Do not mistake this for a ceasefire. Do not imagine this scene as peaceful. But they had both acted out the same drama for centuries, Agatha running and fighting, Death always one step behind, the single unwanted constant in her chaotic life. Sometimes, Agatha simply had other things to do than fight.
Things like preserving her own life.
”Cutting it real close this time, darling,” Rio called down from the tree. “I want my bodies. Or I get to take my favorite girl home with me.”
Agatha made a gagging sound without looking up and Rio laughed, dangling from a tree branch by her legs. “I like the song.” She was trying to provoke, Agatha knew, for her own sick amusement, or to get Agatha’s attention on her or maybe to run down the clock. “Your Nicky is such a good singer.”
That one word, spoken too freely, changed everything.
“Is,” Agatha repeated.
“Uhh,” Rio scrambled to sitting on the tree branch. "That wasn't what I mea—"
Agatha spun and her power slammed Rio to the ground hard enough to make a small crater, chains of purple wrapping around the other woman, holding her in place, though they both knew she couldn't hold Death for long.
At least, not with magic.
“You told me once that you escort them beyond the veil and never see them again. You told me you can’t speak to the dead.” She stalked over, put a booted foot on Rio’s chest, which made Rio's eyes widen an appreciable amount and her lips part very slightly.
Agatha leaned her weight onto that foot, met the eyes of the monster who pretended to be able to love her. “Rio, baby, did you lie to me?” she asked, head tilted, mad smile playing across her lips.
“I don’t actually owe you any answers, you know,” Rio said, but she couldn't meet Agatha's eyes, her expression almost guilty.
As if Rio could feel guilt.
Agatha dismissed the magic and dropped to kneeling, leaned down and pressed her forehead against Rio’s, saw the other woman swallow compulsively. “But you want to tell me. Don’t you? You've wanted to tell me for a while now, I'd bet.” Her voice had gone soft, sweet, her fingers were on Rio’s cheek and this was also a dance they both knew all the steps for, but one that never failed her. She was so very good at seducing Death.
Rio turned her head, tried to get Agatha’s fingers in her mouth. “Plenty of time for that later,” Agatha coaxed and Rio, the final sunrise, the terrible end of all things, whimpered very quietly.
It was so nice that she'd never lost this particular power, though it took all her willpower not to use it to hurt Rio.
There was plenty of time for that later.
“Tell me the truth,” Agatha purred. “Tell me how Nicky is a good singer.”
“I can’t," Rio whispered "It’s forbidden.”
Agatha fingercombed the other woman's hair, pressed her lips to the corner of Rio's mouth and enjoyed listening to her whine. “You have done so many forbidden things for me. You saved me. You gave me time. One more time, my love, for me. Tell me a secret.
“…Will you forgive me?”
Agatha pulled back and gave the other woman a wicked smile, taunting, teasing, promising things she would never, ever give. “You know? I might yet.”
Rio breathed out with relief akin to a dying person’s final breath, a moment of complete surrender—but where other people surrendered to Death, Death surrendered to Agatha. “I can speak to him. He asks after you.” Here her smile sharpened, took on a vicious edge. “I lie, of course, when I tell him how you are.”
Agatha's turn to shake, her hands clenching and unclenching. It had been such a long time. Sometimes she woke and she'd forgotten Nicky all together.
Until, inevitably, she remembered.
“How is he?“ she whispered.
Rio opened her mouth to speak, but then her jaw snapped shut with too much force, as though an invisible hand had slammed into it. She sat up and her voice, when she spoke again, contained a hint of grave dirt and the cries of endless mourners. “Dead, Agatha, he is dead! And this is why these are sacred mysteries, I cannot tell you about the state of the dead and even if I could, you would not be able to understand them.”
“But he still sings?”
Rio’s expression softened at once and her voice was altogether too human, a lie Agatha had once allowed herself to believe. “Yes, love, he still sings.”
The fight ran out of Agatha then and she sank back, buried her head in her hands. “Why didn’t you tell me?“
”There are rules! I should not have told you this much!” Death snarled and when Agatha looked up, she could see Rio's mask had fallen off, face skeletal, nose melted away.
Once, Agatha had found her true face beautiful.
Now she couldn’t remember what beauty was.
"You, especially," Rio continued, a small laugh in her voice. "Who knows what madness you'd wreck with such knowledge?"
“I want to know,” Agatha said. “I want to know all of it.”
Death gave her a surprisingly sweet smile, entirely out of place for any version of her. “Wait. Let the clock run down. Forget your planned slaughter and sit with me until the end. Then you can finally discover what lies beyond the veil.”
Agatha burst into hysterical guffaws, and Rio’s expression twisted into something more familiar, imminent violence and a hint of more mundane hurt.
“And give,” Agatha hissed, jabbing a finger at Rio, who stared blankly at the offending digit. “You the satisfaction? You think I seduced Death into letting me live, only to give up and die now?”
“Agatha.” Two centuries of violence, physical and emotional, between them and still, Agatha had never quite heard this tone in Rio’s voice. Something dreadful crept into it, ancient and terrible.
Agatha Harkness did not yield to such parlor tricks. “What, baby? Am I hurting your feelings? You thought we fell into bed together because I like bad boys and not because I wasn’t done living yet? Anyway, I don’t need you. I’ll wring every ‘sacred mystery’ out of this world all by myself.”
Rio groaned, a much more human groan. “How many times, Agatha. How many times will I break the rules for you, over and over and over again, only for you to throw it back in my face?”
“Generally depends on how likely you think it is that I’ll kiss you.”
Rio laughed, but it was a terrible laugh, one that made even Agatha flinch back ever-so-slightly. "You were never going to forgive me," she said.
Agatha shook her head. "Honestly, if I were you, I'd have at least held out for a kiss. Probably the last chance you're going to get this century."
Rio stared at her, then started to giggle. She scrambled over, always too fast, and pecked Agatha on the cheek. "Ags, it's getting dark."
"Is that a metaphor? Because I'm fully capable of seeing the sun going down."
"And where are your new best friends?" Rio singsonged.
Agatha's forehead creased. She glanced at the position of the sun in the sky, then back toward the small town she was using as her staging ground. "They're coming."
"They aren't," Rio said. "Someone warned them. Agatha Harkness, witch-killer. Follow her to the Road at your peril. Maybe I should have put it into song, but they seemed to take the warning well enough in prose.”
Agatha froze. "That's—that's cheating, interfering, you can't do that!"
Rio burst into strident, almost physically painful laughter. "Says who?"
Agatha felt caught out, small and mortal and aware of the sun going down in more ways than one. "…You never have."
"I wanted it to be fair. I wanted, eventually, for you to come to me of your own. Free. Will," Rio said, nodding along with each word. "Buuuut I'm getting tired of waiting, Ags. I miss you! And now we'll get to have an eternity together."
The sun wasn't all the way down, the temperature hadn't changed at all, but suddenly Agatha Harkness was very cold indeed. "…Rio, please," she whispered.
Rio's laugh was a banshee scream, a forewarning of imminent death, the petty, small-d version, the kind that only affected one person, but unfortunately, this time that person was someone she knew very, very well. "Agatha, Agatha, Agatha," Rio tsked, shaking her head. "You only get one seduction a day, max. So how do you want to do it? Personally, I like knives."
Agatha opened her mouth, then stopped and listened. There were voices, coming toward them. Voices singing a very familiar song.
"Maybe your warning wasn't heeded after all," she said as she scrambled to her feet, the other witches burst into the clearing. "Well-met, sisters! Come and join me—"
"Agatha Harkness," the leader of the group declared. "Your crimes are known to us! Do not try to defend yourself, we have heard how many witches you've slaughtered."
"Moi?" Agatha said, her eyes gone wide with false shock, hand pressed to her chest.
"Oh for…" Rio murmured, toying with her knife, watching with narrowed eyes. Agatha would have bet, from the way the other witches didn't glance at her, that they couldn't see Death, sitting so close, observing the action.
They would see her soon enough.
"Witch-killer!" Their melodramatic leader yelled, striking a pose. "We will destroy you."
"Give it your best shot," Agatha purred.
It ended as it always did, her feeling like she'd had a spa day and Rio gathering souls to take back with her. Feeling all-powerful, unkillable and therefore slightly more magnanimous, she leaned over and gave Death a kiss on the cheek. "You'll get me next time, champ."
Rio glanced over at her and Agatha flinched back, because the look in the other woman's eyes was worse than violence or frustration or even lust—it was unmitigated affection, mixed with mild contempt, like Agatha were a particularly adorable pet of some kind. "Sometimes," Death said, with a small shake of her head. "You are so cute." And suddenly she was too close, her lips inches from Agatha's own. "All the time in the world, baby. Sooner or later," she slid her fingers through Agatha's hair, nuzzled against it before releasing. "You will be mine."
She spun on her heel and waved a hand over her shoulder as she led souls to the final mysteries. "Bye, Agatha. I'll be sure to tell Nicky you said hi."
Hi :3
Can u please do a jealous scenario with Kumatani? (^o^)
Thank u <3
I love your writing <3
Mitsuo Kumatani ✭ Not Jealous
wc: 1.5k
genre: fluff, jealousy, establish relationship
warnings: n/a, most definitely a little ooc Kuma here lmao
tori's note: I'm not gonna lie to you anon, I really struggled writing this. I just don't really see Kuma as the jealous type, so I didn't know what kind of situation to write lol. I hope he's not too OOC? I'm sorry babes, I did my best *cries* also, also SO SORRY THIS TOOK ME SO LONG LOOOOL
Kumatani always considered himself a typically calm and collected man. Someone who didn’t let things get under his skin easily. It wasn’t often that his emotions got the better of him, but when they did, it was usually because something (or someone) had pushed his buttons until they shattered.
The emotion he usually felt in such instances was annoyance, sometimes frustration and anger. But what he was feeling right now was a new one, and it was intense.
“Wow, these trees look great, Y/n!” Eddy exclaims. Kumatani watches as the assistant director stands beside you, patting you on the shoulder. Kumatani feels his heart wrench when you nervously laugh out a ‘thank you’.
The bear suit he was so “blessed” to wear everyday didn’t have many perks. It was hot and stuffy, oftentimes itchy. It was hard to move in and it impaired his spatial awareness which, for him, was frustrating.
But, a pro to the suit was it allowed his eyes and face to do whatever they pleased as it wouldn’t be seen by anyone else. He could roll his eyes and give annoyed expressions all he wanted without consequence.
So, for moments like this, when he’s glaring holes into the back of Eddy’s head, he was thankful for it.
“They’re really not a big deal,” you say, brushing off the man’s compliment. You pick up a fake maple leaf and reattach it to a plastic tree branch, hoping it’ll stay in place this time. “They only took a couple hours, and they’re already falling apart.”
“Come on, give yourself some credit!” Eddy says, shoving his rejected compliment back in your face. “I couldn’t do anything like this, which is exactly why we hired you.”
“Haha, right,” you say with a forced laugh. “Well I should get these onto the set before Derekida shouts at me,” you say as you carefully pick up one of your mini maple trees, your hands squeezing the rough, faux bark. But, before you can walk away, Eddy begins to speak again.
“Oh, hey, I was uhh… Well, ummm… ” Eddy stutters and you feel your stomach drop. Oh no. You know that look as well as that nervous quiver in his voice. Before he even continues you already know where this is going. “I was planning on trying out that new restaurant tonight, would you wanna go? O-only if you’re not busy, that is...”
Just as you feared. You and Kumatani have only been dating for a few months, and you both preferred to keep your relationship quiet, so you can’t blame Eddy for not knowing. But seriously? Here? Now? In front of your boyfriend? You admired his courage but hated his timing.
“Oh, Eddy that’s nice but,” you start, trying to find a way to let him down kindly. You turn your head just enough to see Kumatani out of the corner of your eye. You turn back to Eddy, ready to break the news, and possibly his heart. “Umm, thing is-”
“We’re busy tonight,” Kumatani interjects, popping up beside you.
“Aww, really?” Eddy says, a hint of confusion in his voice.
“Yes, really,” Kumatani says sternly, laying an arm gently over your shoulders, silently saying all that was needed. “Now, leave her alone.” You glance over at your boyfriend, even though you can’t see his face.
Not many people can tell when Kumatani is getting ticked unless he purposefully shows it. You however, can tell by the slightest change in his tone. And based on the few words he’s just spoken, he’s not just ticked, he’s pissed.
Your eyebrows quirk and you question just why he was so mad. Eddy doesn’t know you’re dating, and it’s not like he’s pushed your boundaries. Kumatani seems to surprise himself with his words, his stoic shell cracking a bit.
“Oh, I see… s-sorry,” Eddy mutters. The director walks away without another word, partly out of respect, but mostly out of fear. He knew better than to make Kumatani mad.
You stand there in silence for a moment, tiny tree in hand and stuffy bear suit over your shoulder.
“Thank you. But you know you didn’t have to do that. It was just Eddy,” you say with an awkward giggle. Mitsuo removes his arm from you and takes a small step back.
“Sorry. I don’t really know-”
“Y/n! We need those trees!” Derekida’s voice echoes through the studio, cutting Kumatani off and making you jump out of your skin. You groan, turning to pick up another one of the fake plants.
“Be right there!” You shout back, doing your best to hide the annoyance in your voice. Though it's not like Derekida hasn't heard it before. You turn back to your boyfriend, still interested in hearing what he has to say. “Hold that thought, ‘kay? I’ll meet you in your dressing room in a minute.”
Kumatani just nods as he watches you stumble to the filming set with your props.
It doesn’t take you long to get the trees set up in preparation for Utano and Iketeru’s next performance. The moment you’re satisfied with how everything looks, you sprint to the dressing rooms before Derekida can notice you’re leaving.
You knock on the door before entering, finding Mitsuo standing in the room with his bear suit removed. Well, all but the mask. You stand there in silence for a moment as you stare at him, wondering why he’s bothered to take off everything except for the head.
“Whatcha doing?” You ask curiously. Your boyfriend remains unmoving, his arms cross over his chest.
“What do you mean?” He says casually, like he doesn’t expect you to question his choice of outfit. You roll your eyes with a small laugh before walking up to him and gently placing your hands on the bear head.
“Come on, I can’t take you seriously with that thing on,” you say and he doesn’t resist as you carefully pull the mask up and off of his head. You smile at the sight of his steely grey eyes, much better than the soulless black dots of a fake bear.
“Hi,” you say airily, leaning closer to him.
“Hi,” he says in return, his lips curving in a faint smile. You set his mask down on the table and sit on the edge beside it.
“So, wanna tell me what happened earlier?” You ask. Mitsuo’s eyes flash with a very brief moment of annoyance, and you just barely catch it.
“There’s nothing to tell. He tried to ask you out and I told him off,”
“Yes, but I think there’s a little more to it than that,” you push gently. “You seemed pretty upset.”
He just looks at you, not bothering to give even a small hum in response. But recalling the situation from just a bit ago was getting him irritated again.
He’s being ridiculous, he knows he is. He's not sure what set him off to begin with. People are allowed to compliment you, especially on things you’ve poured your time and effort into. But for some reason, seeing Eddy interact with you like that angered him.
He wasn’t about to tell you that though. That would mean admitting that his emotions got the better of him. And even though it is something that has happened before, he didn't like the feeling of losing control.
You watch him stand in his silence, replaying the situation in your head when it hits you.
“Are you jealous?” You ask bluntly.
“Jealous?” Mitsuo repeats, caught off guard by your assumption. “Of course not.” He looks away from you and crosses his arms back over his chest. He’s trying to look unperturbed, but you absentmindedly make the connection to a pouting child. He may have been annoyed, but he certainly wasn’t jealous.
“Oh, you’re so jealous. This is hilarious.”
“I said I’m not jealous,” he says simply, but from the slight change in his tone of voice, you can tell he’s at least a little jealous, even if he doesn’t know it. You laugh softly and stand from the table, walking over and taking your boyfriend's hands in yours.
You look up at him sincerely, though his eyes avoid yours.
“Mitsuooo,” you coo. The man grunts in annoyance, wanting this conversation to be over so he can leave. He never thought he’d be given the choice to wear his bear suit or talk to you. And he certainly never thought he’d want to choose the former of the two.
You raise a hand to his cheek, tenderly pulling him to face you, smiling brightly when his eyes finally meet yours.
“It’s okay if you are, I’m just teasing,” you say. You lean up to place a soft kiss to his lips and, while at first he doesn’t kiss back purely out of indignation, he soon melts into you, unable to resist your lips against his. You pull away, a satisfied look on your face.
“Are we good?” You ask, just inches away from his lips.
“There wasn’t a problem with us to begin with,” Mitsuo states, a smirk, while absent on his face, audible in his tone.
“You know what I mean,” you say with a laugh. “Please don’t give Eddy a hard time. I love you and only you, okay? You don’t have to worry about anyone else.”
“Are you sure?” Mitsuo jokes.
“Shut up!” You say, giving your boyfriend a playful punch on the arm. He smiles as he grips your waist and leans down to kiss you, his warm lips molding perfectly against yours, warmth spreading through your body.
“I love only you too.”
beyond the contract - part 3
P1 P2 P3 P4 P5 P6 P7 P8
pairing: matt sturniolo x reader summary: where the sturniolo triplets are part of an organization known as the eclipse alliance, matt has constantly failed to pull through with pulling the trigger on a target. fed up, their boss gives matt one last chance, where he is sent to northside high school to get some answers out of a girl. warnings: just cursing! author's note: THIS CHAPTER IS SO IMPORTANT u guiys dont even KNOW YET ok enjoy <3 lov u all WC: 1631 lowercase intentional !!
to tell the truth, matt had no idea what he was doing.
"why don't you just distance yourself?"
"you signed up for it, no?"
nick's words echoed in his head as he bit his lip and sat up, raising his hand to run through his hair rather than picking at his fingernails.
"wanna get out of here?"
-
"where are we going?" i questioned after a few moments of silence. "you're not gonna like... i don't know, murder me?" i joked, lightening the mood a bit. i felt relief washed over me when i saw matt smile softly.
"of course not," he responded softly, as i continued to follow him. we had walked through the streets and into a foresty area with many trees and some hills. matt would step over everything expertly and mutter a soft, "watch your step," to me each time. i could tell he had taken this route on multiple occasions.
"i thought you said you knew a spot," i breathed, checking my phone to see fifteen minutes had gone by.
"i promise it's worth it," he responded as he smiled and pulled a few bush branches out of the way, making sure i got through before letting them go. "here," he breathed and turned to me.
i shifted my gaze from matt to the sight in front of me, my eyes widening. it didn't even look real.
the way the trees perfectly aligned across the soft pond, where the water ran slowly and fireflies danced across the muggy water. there were logs along the edges, one was propped in a nice spot. matt headed towards that specific log.
"i come here a lot when i have to think, or when i get bored." he mumbled as he sat down on the log and patted beside him, motioning for me to sit with him.
i took his offer and slowly sat beside him, looking around before letting out a soft, breathy chuckle. "what, so my tutoring bored you?" i joked.
"yeah, a little bit," he responded as he smiled softly and i smacked his arm.
we sat in silence for a moment as we listened to the water run through the pond, before a question came to my mind. i turned to matt and tilted my head slightly.
"why did you transfer to northside high?"
matt seemed to let out a hefty sigh, biting his lip. he turned away as he began to pick at his fingernails a bit again. "uhh, i dropped out at one point and decided to go back to school," he mumbled, a little bit faster than most of his statements.
i nodded as i smiled and turned back to the water. "i see. i'm proud of you for trying again," i breathed, and matt turned to me. "i mean, as much as people shit on school, i've met a lot of amazing people and learned some awesome things, even if it means i have to learn that the estimated number of moves possible in a single game of chess is greater than the amount of atoms in the universe." i mumbled, shrugging.
"where in the hell did you learn that?" matt mumbled, smiling softly and seeming to loosen up a bit.
i shrugged and stared in front of me. "chemistry."
a bit of silence washed over us both as we sat peacefully and stared at the water.
"would you wanna go out sometime?" matt shifted slightly where he sat as he spoke.
i turned my head to matt and blinked a few times, a bit of shock running over me.
"i mean, i know we just met-" he defends, but you quickly cut him off, smiling at him.
"yeah, i'd love to." i responded, and matt smiled softly at me, nodding as he turned his head back to the water.
a few more moments of silence went on, and matt gently moved his hand to rest on top of mine, not making eye contact.
i turned to him and smiled warmly, scooting a bit closer to him and resting my head against his shoulder.
-
"you asked her out?" chris blurted, as nick stood beside him and pressed his fingers to his forehead while shaking his head.
"i- i don't know, it was just in the moment, and-"
"you're so fucked, matt." nick stated calmly as he took a seat beside him and gently set a hand on his back.
matt shrugged and sighed. "it's bad, i tried to distance myself and i folded. i really did. you guys should see her, she's really sweet.. and pretty, too.." he whispered, intertwining his hands together and resting them on his forehead as he leaned his elbows against the counter. he was kind of freaking out.
"what's her insta," chris pressed, pulling out his phone.
matt turned to him with a look of disbelief. "dude," he breathed and turned to nick, who just shrugged.
"well, what is it?" the older questioned, making matt groan.
after a few moments of looking, chris found your instagram and blinked a few times. "oh yeah, you're fucked dude." he mumbled as he turned the phone to nick.
nick let out a long, exasperated sigh. "i'll see what i can do, matt, but your options are extremely limited."
"maybe i'm not cut out for this," matt replied coldly, standing up from his seat. "i really can't see myself harming someone, i don't understand how-"
"matt," nick mumbled as he stood in front of him and set his hands on either of his shoulders. he looked into his eyes before sighing.
"no, i'm serious, nick," he gently pushed his arm away from him and stepped back, looking at chris, who had a concerned expression on his face.
matt took in a deep breath. "i can't do this, not to her.." he mumbled as he stood up and left the kitchen, going straight to his room.
nick let out a deep sigh as he buried his face in his hands.
chris moved to him and gently rubbed his shoulder. "give him some time, nick. he'll come around." he breathed before heading down the stairs to his own room.
-
matt scrunched up his nose as he looked at the papers being taped onto the walls in the hallway before scoffing. "what're they doing, remodeling the place?"
i scoffed and shook my head, walking closely beside him as i held my backpack straps closely in my hands. "no, advertising.. prom is coming up," i breathed, and smiled softly.
matt shrugged and hummed softly to himself. "loud music, lots of people dry humping each other.. i'm good." he chuckled, and i smirked and lightly hit his arm.
"come on, matt.. you know you wanna go," i giggled as i stopped at my locker, and matt leaned on the one beside me as he watched me, the corners of his lips upturned slightly.
"not really, parties and stuff aren't really my thing." he shrugged, watching me as i went through my books within the locker. i felt my cheeks heat up at the feeling of his gaze resting on me.
"i guess i can see that," i mumbled in response before shutting my locker. "but think about it.. after going back to school and whatnot.. it's your senior year too, right? why not give it a shot?"
matt watched me as i spoke, and after a few moments once i was done, he let out a breathy chuckle as he looked down and shook his head, arms crossed as he leaned against the locker. "i'll think about it," he responded softly, before lifting himself off of the locker and beginning to walk in the direction of our class, where i closely followed beside him.
-
footsteps echoed against the tile in the large and empty room.
"sir, i feel that matt should be excluded from the eclipse alliance corporation," chris's voice rang as he swallowed, clearly a bit nervous to be speaking with their coordinator. he kept his arms at his sides as he looked at the man. "he cares a lot.. about people around him," chris started, but he was quickly cut off.
"does he not care about his family within the corporation?" he breathed, his voice calm.
chris swallowed as he looked down as his feet. he took in a deep breath. "uhh, i think he-"
"look at me when you speak to me." the man stated firmly, and chris immediately lifted his head.
"right, sorry sir," he started, before clearing his throat and biting his lip. "i think matt cares a lot, too much even, and it's making it hard for him to act on the tasks he's given. nick and i wanted to ask you if there's anything we can do, or any advice we should give him?" he stated, the last part flowing a lot quicker than the rest. chris was practically shaking in his boots, to put it simply.
"matthew has a deadline. april 25th. if his task is not finished, he is cut." he started, before cocking an eyebrow. "have you and nicolas... told him yet?" he questioned.
chris looked down at his feet and took in a deep breath as he looked up at their coordinator. "nick and i are waiting for the right time." he stated, almost with confidence, as he knew they were doing the right thing.
"very well. is this all?" the man spoke, and chris nodded softly.
"yes, thank you for your time," he breathed as he waved and began to walk in the other direction. he let out a shaky breath of relief as he continued to walk, his forehead now dripping in sweat. "he has no idea," chris whispered as he let out a shaky sigh.
"i'm so sorry, matt."
Demon lore w/ Tina, Mouse and Em
TinaKitten twitch VOD ID : 2052327269 (QSMP!! IS!! BACK!!! QSMP 2024!!! 03-Feb-2024)
(pls let me know if I've missed anything else)
Em tells Tina how she lost her first life, Tina comforts her, vowing to kill them all, but seems appalled (or shocked?) that Em wants to become a demon as well. She tries to talk her out of it but the server crashed lmao.
Tina :"Mom will kill all of them, don't worry. Every single one of them, ok? Mom will paint the walls red, don't worry."
Em :"thats why i wanna be a demon then i can live with you forever"
Tina : *shocked* "...ooohh...uhh...I've always wanted to not be, but I've never thought about it that way. Immortality is lonely you know, it's lonely, it's not...bad...but you know they say demons have to, you know, usually um, terrible things had to have happened for them to become- what the fuck"
(end of clip)
++
Shortly after, they met up with Mouse.
Tina, Mouse, and Em discovers a Nether portal. Mouse goes in. Tina looks back at Em.
Em :*shakes head*
Tina :"Ok, you’re right. That’s a bad idea. I’m not ready to got home anyways. Let’s go, let’s go over yonder. Um-"
Em :*hits Tina*
Tina :"Woah! God, you pack a punch, little one. Gee-whiz."
Em :"what do you mean home? :O"
Tina :"Um…I mean you know…*wink wink*"
Em :"wait eomma don’t tell me o-o"
Tina :"Ok, I won’t."
Em :*fall into pieces*
Tina :"Was that reverse psychology? What was that? That’s never worked on me, never."
Em :"are you like mami mouse? :O"
Tina :"Um in some ways..only-only a little but-but not exactly in the way that she is. She’s a bit more proud, you know? She’s a bit more proud."
Em :"oh are you not happy to be a demon? :("
Tina :"Of course not honey, most of them aren’t…well….…if they are aware…then-then maybe um they wouldn’t be. A lot of them are blissfully ignorant, you know? They like their ways."
Em :"do you think its bad to be one?"
Tina :"Mm, that’s a good question…"
Mouse comes back (she ended up at spawn, nether is currently disabled)
Tina :"Do you think it’s bad to be a demon?"
Mouse :"Of course not."
Tina :"See? Some of them are very proud."
Mouse :"Wait, why are you asking Empanada? Did you-"
Tina :"She just asked me if-if demons are proud to be them, then I said, sometimes they are"
Mouse :"Of course! I’m super proud to be a demon!"
Tina :"Yeah!"
Em :"but what is YOUR opinion"
Tina :"Um *ahem* well, if ,you know, if-if I were to be within that branch, within that family tree, I would not be proud, because they’re evil incarnate, you see? They’re bad."
Mouse :"We’re not evil incarnate! What are you talking about?"
Tina :”Oh….you don’t think so?”
Mouse :”There’s a difference between being turned into a demon and being born as a demon. If you’re turned into a demon, you’re evil! If you’re born a demon, you’re not evil at all! It’s just who you are!”
Tina :”Oh well….ok well….doesn’t that just solve a lot of our questions…"
Mouse :"Damn right it does."
Em :"oh so oh"
Tina :*mm-hm* *mm-hm* "We nod, we nod and press on, and we don’t-we don’t-we don’t-we don’t go around talking about it, you know?"
Mouse :"You should be proud of who you are."
Tina :"I’m just Tina."
Em :"i’m confused :("
Tina :"It’s ok, it’s not for us to solve today. Today, all we have to do is build a house, you know?"
Same day, a few hours after...Bad and Dapper also did some demon lore but it was less...heavy? lol it was silly....one about demon blood and.....giving birth...
Imagine being a Hufflepuff, and dating Remus Lupin.
“I’m happy for you mate, you know I am,” Sirius said, leaning into Remus as his friend was watching you splash around in the lake with Lily. It was a gorgeous day, nearing towards the end of the school year, and you were finally getting to relax after submitting the last of your assignments. “But if you don’t help me with this essay like you said you would, McGonagall is going to mount my pretty ass in her office for the world to see.”
“Why don’t you ask James?” Remus said, not being able to take his eyes off your smile. He was keeping your cloak dry for you, the unfamiliar yellow edges symbolizing you were a Hufflepuff looked even brighter next to the red of his own Gryffindor ones. “He finished his.”
“Because Lily is a bikini, you bloody idiot,” Sirius groaned dramatically. “He’s practically dead to the world.”
“Hmmm?” Remus asked, not really listening, Sirius’s voice going in one ear and out the other. “Yeah I’ll uhh - I’ll help you later. Watch our stuff?” He got up from where he was sitting, unable to resist the call of you beckoning him from the water and insisting that the water was fine.
Sirius sighed. “At least I’ve got you, right Pe-” He turned to look at the only non-lovestruck friend that he had, only to find that the shorter blonde boy was up the tree, climbing over a branch and cannoballing into the lake, making everyone inside of it laugh.
“Come on, don’t be so serious,” You called out teasingly, wrapping your arms around Remus, showing him love and affection despite the scars that he was insecure about. “I’ll help you with your essay, Sprout showed me a good trick.”
“Damn your relaxed head of house,” Sirius said, but wouldn’t allow himself to be a spoil sport, casting a protection charm on all of your things and then running towards the water, ready to splash everyone within an inch of their life.
Brozone Little reunion....
After trolls band together as the brozone brother had a little reunion just to catch up clay still had some mix feelings about john dory and john dory is trying his best to get clay to like him again and forgive him for the past mistake that John made....
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want my brothers to be afraid of how much they love me." John dory said As he looked over at clay and smile at clay awkwardly as if john was trying so hard to get on good terms with clay again because during most of their band days john and clay were the one mostly fighting beside bruce...
"I consider myself a good person...but I'm gonna try to make him cry." Clay told both floyd and branch "woah don't make an old man cry just yet clay wait for a fews days then you can make him cry." branch said
As floyd wasn't listening at all he was just minding his own business as he stumble across a article "uhh guys who is Justice Trimblelake?" He asked showing a Mug shot picture.... As the room was dead slient
"Uhh don't you mean Justin Timberlake? little bro." Bruce told floyd "Sounds better the way I said it." floyd said flipping through pages
As john kept trying so hard to be friends with clay "Why are you the way that you are?” Clay asked John "what, you mean little bro I'm always the same old john dory." he said getting closer as clay back away slowly from john "I mean why are you trying so hard to be my friend again after what you did to us?" clay replied
"Clay I told you so many fucking time I did came back but no one was there I assume you were dead but I luckily knew bitty b was alive because he save everyone from the rock apocalypse." John said
As he turn to look at clay "Sorry I annoyed you with my friendship!" John said punching the wall as he left there was tears in his eyes and his face was super red aswell Plus he left a pretty big hole on the wall
"wow, I've never seen john dory this angry before." floyd said "congrast clay for making an old man cry." bruce said "should we check on him?" branch asked "he's fine he's a old man he'll figure it out." clay said
"Whenever I'm about to do something, I think, 'Would an idiot do that?' and if they would, I do not do that thing." Bruce said glaring at clay who was just doing a crossword puzzle "what bitty B said to make him cry." clay said "okay blame it on the baby who you left behind and never came back." branch said crossing his arms
"Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way. Like an improv conversation." Branch also added in "then why the fuck you told me not to make an old man cry just yet?" clay told branch
As John was outside with Rhonda who was comforting him "Do I need to be liked? Absolutely not. I like to be liked. I enjoy being liked. I have to be liked. But it’s not like, this compulsive need to be liked, like my need to be praised." John told Rhonda Poor John dory just wants to make things right with his brother clay
"Also, I was being super sarcastic." branch said "Boy, have you done lost your mind? Cause I’ll help you find it!" Clay said about to throw something at branch but floyd stood in between them "guys we're all family here please don't fight we're all grown mens now." floyd said
"That's what she said." Bruce said "who said?" floyd asked "his wife brandy remember he's married and had 13 kids so we're uncles." branch told floyd "I understand nothing." Floyd said
Poor floyd was trapped in a diamond prison for two months straight which cause him to have some memory lost well his brothers and queen poppy and also viva is helping him regain that memory back =D
"is okay floyd you'll get there eventually." branch said
As Poppy and viva came to check on the brothers things weren't going good as poppy had hoped "branch, I see this isn't going well." poppy said "yeah, clay made john dory cry and angry he punch a whole on the wall." branch said
"well, we still have cake I'll find John." viva said hopping off to find john dory
As poppy grab branch hands "come on branch; If I don't have some cake soon, I might die" Poppy said dragging branch to get cake
"That's what she said." Bruce said laughing while looking at floyd “I wonder what people like about me. Probably my singing voice” Floyd said clapping his hands together like a happy child "yep, that's why velvet and veneer kidnap you and lock you up." clay said
as bruce rolled his eyes at clay "I just want to lie on the beach and eat hot dogs." He said walking away "FLOYD ON HOTDOGS!" Floyd shouted across the room happily following behind bruce
As Viva saw John sitting with rhonda "hey, John I heard you were upset." viva said sitting with him "Clay hates me." john said "No he do not, I'll tell ya this he misses you alot so much he acts like you and even talks about you." viva said....
Pero no lo hicisteee final 100 hrs have been entered
fred by himself cause i did his shoes with everythign and the little meat texture. Why would i do that if its not mesnt to be visible? May god know cause i dont. uhh the background. yeah ok. uh Fred doesn't have to reflect Freddy in clothes or hairstyle anymore! Boys uniform! Higher, tighter pony tail! also their little jacket. Make up around their eyes, and they have gained acess to COLOR. Hes no longer restricted to shades of purple, too bad hes emo and will only branch out to red TOT. anyway yay for them. uhh uhhh also he has a new sparkle. he has a little yellowy orange sparkle in his chest, right on their tie. they didnt have that before :) new sparkle
youtube
im glad were all miserable about how fred is on the floor but also agree that freddy looks best when hes at his worse! keep up that look, youre a natural !! bbbbuhhhh
SUELTENME SUELTENME SUELTENME SUELTENME SUELTANME ok normal, hi pia :3 glad you noticed. im so diseased about when they swap colors in canon.... wughgh misery...
not so fast! theyre both so fucking bad at this game! the game being existing. Fred feeds the body and like. the most basic of maintenance but they too mistreat it in their own special way <3. ANyways how does this scene change? uh. god. i feel like it adds a lot ofc content but i dont. know. thinking about camp makes my head scream... as i imagine it mutates and changed even after having drawn these. living organism....
in my head their body "prioritizes" freddy a lot, like. IF fred is in control while freddy is sleeping, and freddy wakes up, it sorta auto-kicks fred out if they arent prepared and get caught off guard, BUT freddy isnt exctly. too present. hes not the most anchored person to his own self so if fred, can simply push him out pretty easy so long as they arent abnormally weakened, and if they were to fight for it fred will typically win. As for body auto responses, i think it does eventually kick the current pilot out, or mess things up and force them both in or both out, ("how does that work" sh sh sh dont even worry about it... <3 please.) buuuut i think it takes a long time for the body to get to that point, to the point where it does those auto responseds. Freddys gotten it pretty used to well, itself. it doesn't send out the signals that it should, or at best, not as strongly.
Okay why is Freddy all glitchy when out side and not sparkly? beeecause well. cromatic aberation occurs when a lense fails to align and focus wavelengths of color all on the same point. What the hell does that have to do with freddy? (what the hell happens int hat goddamn highschool?) uh! hes totally unfocused. in his entire self. and in his worldview, his view of strangers, of his friends, family. exc. Hes got like at least three different "lenses" he can view himself in, and at least two "good or bad" lenses he can see any given person through. IF anything is certain about him, its his instability. In idenity, in stances, in views, in beleifs, in emotions, in everything. An so, he gets the aberation efffect, cause he is !!! pulling!! apart! no focus, no stability , no alignment, no trust, no brother, no one to rely on, no money, no goals, no self esteem, no style, no shoes, no affirmation, no bitchessssssss also i have freddy at like 18 opacity (and the cromatic aberation layers are also at 1* so lets charitibly say hes at 50 total) and Fred is at like 80/85/90 on any given drawing of these, because freddy literally has less soul. uh. magic stystem or whatever freddy was emoty enough in the cup that holds his soul that he could fit a shadow, who turned into a whole ass person instead of some litttle creature...... fucked up. empty ass. anywho. enough of that miserable prick. freds got glow and sparkles cause hes got a lot of soul, hes got a lot in him, and would shine under any circumstance. stand out in some way bc hes just. like that. he is absolutly bursting at the seams with STUFF that is just not being let out. Hes curious. they wanna learn andexplre and live so fucking badly, the want to live and exist on their own terms and its so much passion and drive and will to live all bottled in this little being unable to be expresseddddd. one of these is more positive than the otherrrrr im sure theres sone negative side i missed on fred and a positive side to freddy that i missed but uh. its. 12am as i am writing and scheduling this so.....
if i had a dollar for every time i thought abt fnafhs id have 1 dollar bc i have not fucking stopped.
