For me, I need two things: sleep and a priority list.

A good night's sleep comes first. Yeah, I can do a whole lot sleep deprived. Would probably even do a good job too, but I'm going to be pissed the entire time. XD For me to feel satisfied and happy with what I'm doing, I need to sleep.

Second, I would make a priority list. What's the most important? What do I need to pay attention to first? When I was at university, school came first above all else. I received a full scholarship to attend, so my education had to be finished within four years - I did not have any money to complete my degree if I couldn't graduate on time. Told my friends and my relationship at the time, "Yo, we can hang out after exams, but until then I have to do everything I can to get the best grades." They were all around my same age. Most were in a similar boat, so it was easy for them to understand.

Nowadays, I have work. It's more of a balance now, because work has vacation / sick time. I'm free to take time off if I need to. Also, work doesn't need my soul in it (LMAO). It's me, so of course I work incredibly hard and stand out, but I'm not here bending over backwards for my boss (unless my boss was Yoongi or JK, what's that? shut up? right, right, back to advice).

I always feel best after sleeping and knowing what I have to do. Take it task by task. Yeah, it's a lot, but when is it not, right? Celebrate each accomplishment. Play your favorite BTS song, eat a nice treat, drink some hot chocolate (or another fun drink) and enjoy it before getting back to work. When you have smaller goals to work towards, it won't feel so tiring or overwhelming. One by one, things will get done and then you'll suddenly realize...

"Oh? I'm a useless potato, but I did the thing! Now I'm just a potato!"

(potatoes are delicious and you can do so much with them, mmm, what? stay on topic? sigh, okay, okay)

You just gotta start with the little wins. It'll slowly turn into a big win and you'll start feeling more capable again. Don't worry too much about being "the best", but rather think "I just want to try and be a little better than I think I can be" and if you are, awesome! And if not, you were the best version of yourself at the time, but there's always the future, so don't be too hard on yourself.

With relationships, it's different. Depending on who it is, they know you or you have to communicate. Sometimes all you gotta do is say, "I'm feeling like shit." If they know you well, they'll help you out. (Also, help them out when they need it too!) If not, just let them know what you need from them. "Give me some space and time to study. Then we can hang out when I take a break." It's important to verbalize your needs and communicate in all relationships. Let them know what's going on. It is what it is. Don't try to compare or think you "should" feel something else.

Make a little time for your hobbies too. It's fine to read some smut stories, watch YouTube, etc. Heck, if you wanna, add it to your to-do list (who's gonna steal your to-do list and judge you for it? that'd be weird). Once you start crossing tasks off, you'll start giving a visual to your accomplishments. If you feel that you're not accomplishing "enough" (you are, but I have a solution anyway), break up your bigger tasks to smaller ones. "Do laundry" can become "wash laundry, dry laundry, fold laundry, put away laundry" and even if you didn't put away your laundry, you still did 3/4! Hooray! Sounds silly, sure, but you will be able to see that you have done things. You might be a sack of potatoes but you're a sack of potatoes that can do things!

Being serious for a second, burnout happens to everyone. In a world where everyone keeps going on and on about production of results, having an impact on the world, hell, even all the recent pushes to be positive and uplifting in this tough time... the truth is that it is impossible to always succeed, to do every good deed, to always have a smile.

You can't always hold yourself to that standard. It's fine if all you have today are the small wins. Small wins slowly become big victories. You're not a machine. You're a person. Your worth its not based off what you have produced or done. Trying your best is good enough.

I don’t have a solid bedroom really, I’m on the move too much. Even if I stay in a room for a while, I don’t typically keep much of my things in there.

(ooc: If she were to suddenly drop travelling in stay in a room, I imagine it would still be pretty bare, but probably small and comfy. Probably a desk for writing and a trash bin with letters.)

Do they have any daily rituals?

Every night before I go to sleep I have a quick check-in with Lulu so she can see how I’m doing or offer advice. It’s nice to have someone to listen and help me feel like I’m not completely alone in the world, you know?

Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

I primarily walk from place to place, especially when travelling from one city to another. I used to be very hard-set with exercises, but now I just use whatever I need for day-to-day activities.

What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

I’d hang around for a while if it looked like they were almost done, but otherwise I’d just leave and come back later, so I wouldn’t bother them.

Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)

In the cities and towns I stay in, I try to bathe every day, but as I sometimes spend weeks getting from place to place, the ideal hygiene isn’t always possible. As for the things I own, I’m not too concerned with keeping them in order in my bag, as I know they’ll just get jumbled up on the journey anyway.

When I’m in town I try to get a bunch of rations and non-perishables like bread, dried fruits, cheese, and jerky. I also try to collect food as I go through the plains though, so any edible plants and animals I can find there will add a bit of variety to what I eat.

I like seeing how different people in different towns and cities interact with each other. Everybody has such interesting lives and stories to tell, and it’s exciting to be able to view these chapters for a while. It’s a nice pastime when I can focus on it, but if something else is weighing on me, it just heightens my nervousness.

Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging

I don’t typically indulge in things very often, but I guess as far as guilty pleasures go, I try to avoid becoming too involved with situations because whenever I do, things seem to go wrong, but…. It’s hard to keep that promise to myself sometimes.

I alternate between wearing none and wearing just enough to make me unrecognizable.

- “Yoosung?”

- He nearly yelped. He wasn’t expecting anyone to talk to him! Even you, for that matter!

- “Are you working on the paper too? I can share this book with you, if you need it. Maybe we can help each other out?”

- You were his fucking savior.

- The two of you ended up spending a few hours working on the essay- You even helped him with his if he promised to proof-read yours. He was lowkey kind of jealous that you did your papers at last minute, but got a better grade than him.

- But afterwards, he was just too shy to try talking to you again

- So when he heard your name in the chat, he went off on how he knew a girl by the same name

- “Oh, I know a guy named Yoosung too! We, ah, don’t really talk, but he’s in one of my classes.”

-”...Sociology?”

-”OMG”

- Now he was even more determined to try and talk to you

Seven

-Look, he had to get all that Dr Pep from somewhere

- He was a regular at the little grocery store you worked in. He usually came around the same time, always paid with cash, and almost always got a shitton of Dr Pep

- God forbid you guys have a sale on it

- But he was nice, sweet. Always cracking jokes, always willing to try and make you laugh if you were looking rough

- There were a few times when he’d step in-between a you and an angry customer, and you were always so thankful because he usually made a dumb joke or two to lighten up the situation

- Pretty soon he had learned your name, and he usually came through your line, because you’d actually laugh at his jokes

- (I mean, the others did too, but your reaction to his horrible puns was a groan and a facepalm- He loved it)

- “I got all my dr pep to put a pep in my step!”

- “Man...Man, come on. I mean, I just had two buggies worth of groceries. You’re gonna do this to me?”

- Huge shit eating grin. Of course he was!

- When he finds out it’s you in the chatroom, he instantly wants to protect you even more.

- And, of course, the puns are now neverending. He had a list saved up for you, buddy, you were never going to escape them now

Jaehee

- Sometimes, when you were in need of good coffee and free wifi, you stopped at a local coffee shop. You’d spend a while in there, and occasionally you’d run into this very busy woman.

- Okay, moreso you thought she was cute, so you lowkey looked at her every now and then the few times your paths crossed

- She’d usually get coffee and something small, sit, and pour over paper work while chugging that damn coffee down like a pro

- The two of you only interacted once- It was a crowded day and you were sitting at the only table that had an extra seat, so...She asked to join you

- You stuttered while saying yes, but she didn’t question it.

- She did catch you glancing at her every now and then, and she eventually called you out on it.

- “I’m just curious, I’m sorry.”

- “No, it’s fine. It’s just a few reports for the company I work at. I have to go in soon, but the office is out of good coffee, so...”

- The two of you talked a bit, not too much because she needed to focus on her work, but it was safe to say you had a huge crush on her

- She might have thought it was a bit cute you were so curious about her

- So when she sees the messages saying that you remember who she is, from the coffee shop, she is blushing like mad

- Someone remembers her? Her??

- But she’s secretly happy. Is this a chance to get a friend for the first time?

Jumin

- Granted, you didn’t work right beside him, but you worked in a department that knew his name....very....very...well.

- Nevermind the fact it was mainly tossed around like a curse

- I mean... Jaehee wasn’t the only one who had to deal with the cat projects he wanted to do

- You were decent at your job! Still young, still struggling with being an intern, the first time you ever had a serious job like this

- So the first time you bumped into him in the elevator, you tried your best not to stutter as you greeted him.

- “What department do you work in?”

- (The department that hates your fucking guts)

- “Oh, Uhm. The one you created, for your, erm, personal projects.”

- “Ah, how is the wine going?”

- “It’s...It’s going, haha. I’m actually turning a report in now.”

- (God, why were elevators so slow??)

- “Oh, you write the reports?”

- “Well...A lot of them, not all of them.” You thought about some of the harsh notes he had left on them, and tried not to break a sweat

- “I see, well. They’re all very good in the end. I appreciate the work your group is doing.”

- And bam, the elevator stopped for you and you just. Booked it.

- (Where the fuck are your anxiety meds holy fuck)

- When you enter the chatroom, and see it’s him, you are already kissing your future job goodbye. He was going to fire you so fast

- But.... he didn’t recognize you. Not by your name alone, at least

- When Seven pointed out you worked for him, Jumin just...Left the chatroom

- (The next time he got on, he had already read through your resume twice and talked about your current absence as well with your dept.)

I had another nice dream about RDJ. 

I was in my room and some girl came in who looks a heck of a lot like my ex but she was my friend from LDL and I was folding laundry or something and i think Hannah and someone else were there in the other room and I forget how but RDJ was there and I was an awkward bumbling mess, (Aaron Carter or Jesse McCartney I couldn’t tell which )was also there and I was freaking out the whole time in love with him but then he left. There was a helicopter made of gold??

I said something like “Ah well that’s ok don’t mind me I just live here and girls suck. Fuckin girls amirite” the whole time under my breath as I walked into a dorm-style bathroom and back to my room but as I turn around I notice the other women have left and it’s just me and RDJ. And he says to me “Hey I’m single. Do you wanna..?” with his signature raised brow and I say, “Oh hell  yes” all shaky. and then we go downstairs and it’s like an arcade or something and he keeps playing with quarters and I tease him and when he asks for more quarters I say “don’t look at me you’re the millioinaire” 

except I think he owned the place? and then a stewardess type employee comes over and hands him a shitton of quarters

after that we get in a not-so-flashy car (I think one of those 2005-looking silver mustangs) and we take off. I ask, “Hey, can I ask you a question?” and he says “If it’s about why I’m single, I promise it’s legit but I don’t want to talk about it”. so I leave it alone and start trash talking the girls from back at the house like omg they’re so clingy did u see her face etc

We get where we’re going which is a bank? or something anyway we get up to the top floorand he does his business while i hang out and when he comes back to avoid suspicion he has on a wig bc he doesn’t wanna be seen with another person and we step into the elevator but Jason segal is there too with like his girlfriend except he’s wearing a fake mustache and I laugh bc omg these famous ppl trying to avoid attention. 

and so we make out in the elevator really hot and heavy then his wig disappears as we get to the ground floor and he walks out on his own looking super professional and I follow a second later, tugging up ??brown overalls?? over a yellow shirt? idfk and pull on a backpack and walk past him saying something like thanks for the help Mr Downey (or was it Mr Stark I forget they’re basically interchangeable)

and I wait for him across the street and ask what happened to the car and he says oh we’re gonna walk it’s not too far is it and I say it’s a bit of a walk but alright. but at this point im really rarin to go i just wanna get back to the apartment and fuck but he asks if we should stop and eat something first and i say ok do u wanna do something fancy or would a burger work and he says burger so i suggest in n out 

so we go there and i guess he hadn’t eaten there before so he looked at the menu and i ordered from the waitress without looking at the menu i guess bc it made me look cooler and i got a doubledouble with fries done animal style

and so we ate but the whole time im thinking isn’t this gonna make sex uncomfortable and difficult?

anyway we get back to the apartment  at some point and he leans up against a wall and say something to me but i can’t remember it now which makes me sad because it was so nice that i woke up smiling
