your jaw dropped a little after hearing what he just said to you. did he not remember what you told him last night?

worst of all, you couldnt believe he just called you clingy. you just wanted to do something nice for him by making his favorite food hoping that it’ll relieve some of the stress thats been building up, but he just thought of you as clingy.

fine, if clingy is what you are then you’ll stop bothering him. you quickly whispered an apology, not sure if he could hear or not, and began making your way back home as fast as possible. the food you made for him was still tightly grasped in your hand.

due to the new dormitories, aizawa stays at ua majority of the time. he comes home to your shared apartment whenever he can to spend time with you. unfortunately, those time aren’t usually much because as soon as he’s free, he’s quick to do something else.

once you’ve made it home, you packed the food away and put it in the fridge. you felt your phone buzzing repeatedly, already guessing who it could possibly be, you took it out to see it was your boyfriend.

letting out a sigh, you decided not to.

putting your phone to the side, you walked to the bedroom and changed out of your clothes into the comfy pjs you were wearing right before you left.

his students could tell he was in a badder mood than usual so they collectively agreed to not worsen it (one particular student does not care. can u guess?). aizawa just wanted the day to pass so he can apologize to you directly and make it up with some cuddling.

despite being distracted with planning his apology and thinking about you, he was still teaching as he should and constantly telling his students to be quiet because he’s intimidating like that.

a few hours passed, the students are back in their dorms and some of the teachers are still in school finishing up some work. the hallways were empty and silent, and the weather outside was nice and calm - not too sunny with just the right amount of wind.

however, if you were to peek your head inside of class 1-A at the moment, the environment is an exact 180. aizawa is quickly trying to grade the remaining stack of papers he has on his desk so he can leave as soon as he can. there’s papers everywhere, he’s not so sure where the answer key went off to but to hell with the answer key. he just needs to go home.

his hair is messily tied up and his lips have probably been gnawed off by now. as soon as school ended, he got out his phone to see if you replied and sadly you didn’t. he doesn’t blame you though, considering all of the shit he said to you earlier. 

finally writing down the fat score in red pen onto the final paper, he gathers everything and put to the side of his desk and packed up his stuff. his stuff being his yellow sleeping bag and that’s it.

he went to his room first to clean himself up a bit, and then grabbed a taxi to go to your shared apartment. arriving at the front door, he takes out his copy of the key and entered.

first thing he noticed while entering and taking off his shoes was that the apartment was dark and quiet. he made his way to the kitchen first and turned on its lights to check the fridge. in the fridge laid the food you made for him earlier today. he took it out to start heating it up in the microwave then he walks away from the food and to your bedroom.

quietly opening the door, he poked his head in to see you laying on your side with your back facing the door. he assumed you were asleep and gently closed the door to not wake you up. he made his way over to the bed and sat on the edge of it. 

you, feeling the bed dip, slowly opened your eyes to be greeted with the sight of your boyfriend gingerly brushing his fingertips across your cheekbones. he notices that you’re awake and looks up to meet your eyes.

making eye contact with him, you quietly grunted and brought the blanket up to cover your face while turning your entire body to the other side to ignore him. aizawa sighed and brought his hand down to rest on your waist as he begins talking.

“yn... i know you’re.. mad at me for the things i said to you earlier, but i’m truly sorry. i know saying i didn’t mean it isn’t good enough for you to forgive me, but i want you to know i’m really really sorry. i’ve been so busy for the past few days, my head is all over the place, seeing you at school just got me overthinking and worried that i ended up saying things about you that’s not true at all. i love you so much, hun. you’re the best thing to happen to me. you don’t have to forgive me now, i understand if you want some space.”

it was silent for some time after he finished his apology. the echoing silence was slowly making aizawa worried that you’ll leave him, but he won’t tell you that. thinking that you wanted space, he lifted his shaky hand off of your waist and moved to get off of the bed when you suddenly grabbed onto his hand to keep him there.

“i...i told you the day before that i was going to be visiting you during lunch time. did you not remember? or even hear me tell you?”

aizawa situated himself back down onto the bed before replying. “if i’m being honest, i don’t really remember much of that day at all. my brain was occupied with work and rest, so i was practically drained by the end of the night. i’m sorry i took it out on you, it’s my fault for overworking when i know you’ve been trying to help.”

letting out a soft sigh, you turned your body back towards him. still holding onto his hand, you carefully slotted your fingers in between his and pulled him down to lay with you. he immediately found comfort in this and placed his head into your neck. you could feel his facial hair against your skin making you let out a quiet giggle.

“i love you. i know you have a habit to overwork since that’s all you did before we dated, but please shou, take care of yourself. im not talking physically, cuz you’re already so damn fine, but mentally. i hate seeing you bury yourself in work and training that it even makes me tired just watching you.”

he grumbled something against your neck - his usual reaction to you complimenting him - and held onto you tighter while putting light kisses on your collarbone.

“i know. i will. please bear with me, i know i’m a pain but i’ll always try to be my best for you. i’m never letting you go, love you too much for that.”

“hmm? who said i’m going? you’re stuck with me forever just so you know,” you laughed and patted his head before rising from the bed.

“i heard you heating up the food earlier. get up and come eat,” you tugged aizawa to get him off the bed.

he grumbled once again because he was being forced to leave the warm comfort of your shared bed, but followed you out anyway holding onto your hand.

“wait. you heard me entering? so you were pretending to sleep when i got here?! not funny, babe. not funny. -also don’t take sleep for granted. i did and look where that got me. stop laughing!”

A/N: I totally get what you mean :>> I feel like Kuroo would definitely be the type of boyfriend that would always mess with and annoy you. But you still love him regardless of his ridiculous antics, because who wouldn't?

Everyone who's known Kuroo is well aware of the fact that he is, to put it simply, a ginormous troublemaker. Everyone knows that they have to be especially careful around the man, else they'll find themselves in some sort of sticky situation. Which is definitely why you don't have the right to blame Kuroo for taking embarrassing photos of you, that he may or may not use for blackmail, you should be blaming yourself for falling asleep in the middle of the living room wearing the ridiculous looking (though undeniably comfortable) t-rex onesie Tsukishima gifted you for your birthday, with a Korean face masks that was probably way too overpriced to be a reasonable purchase, but you didn't care. 

It was Sunday evening, you were home alone and you wanted to pamper yourself. College was just as, if not more, tiring than they made it seem when you were in high school, hence why you needed a day for yourself every once in a while.

This was precisely the reason why Kuroo decided to surprise you that night with a bags full of your favorite foods and a list of movies you two could binge watch that night. He got in with the spare key he knew you hid under a flower pot by the entrance and instead of being greeted with a big hug from you after being pleasantly surprised with his sudden arrival and presents, he found you passed out cold in the living room, a bowl of half melted ice cream precariously clutched in your arms, only inches away from spilling all over your onesie, which Kuroo found incredibly cute. The anime that you had previously been watching was still playing, you had just missed an epic boss battle between the protagonist and his best friend who was secretly evil but that wasn't important. What was important was how completely ridiculous you looked.

Kuroo tried to stifle his laughter. Emphasis on tried. He couldn't help but let out a few giggles which luckily didn't do much but make you stir groggily, the ice cream miraculously still not spilling everywhere.

He hastily carried the bags of food into the kitchen and rushed back to you with his phone in his hand, the camera app already open. He positioned the camera right above you, he made sure to get the most unflattering angle because he was a good boyfriend.

All would have gone well if he hadn't forgotten to turn the flash off. The bright light flashed over your face waking you from your slumber. Kuroo froze in place, his phone still hovering over you. You groggily looked up at him, rubbing your eyes.

"Tetsu?" You asked, your voice laced with sleepiness. Your hand brushed over your cheeks and felt the face mask, and you suddenly realized what was happening.

You two stood there for a few seconds, frozen. And just like that you two jumped like frightened cats. Kuroo jumped over the coffee table, adrenaline pumping through his veins.

He ran as if his life depended on it, and to be honest, it kind of did.

You let out a screech in shock and leapt after him, the bowl of ice cream now crashing onto the ground, but he was too quick for you.

Before Kuroo could run into the bathroom to lock himself in, he tripped on the carpet but he caught himself before he crashed onto the ground, but this momentary delay gave you time to catch up on him. You made a grab for the phone but Kuroo quickly held it up in the air, far from your reach. His years of volleyball and troublemaking had lead to him developing rather fast reflexes.

He pried you off of him and ran into the kitchen instead, and found himself cornered behind the small kitchen island. You skidded to halt right across from him, the island being the only thing keeping you from strangling the man.

"Had a good nap, hun?" He grinned cheekily at you. He waved out his phone, close enough that you could see your incriminating photo in full HD but far enough that it was only a little bit more than arms length.

You growled at him as you internally asked yourself why you were dating the oaf. You threw your face mask at him.

"Kuroo Tetsurou, you are such an asshole!" You bellowed. His grin only grew wider. You dashed towards him from the left of the island but Kuroo ran towards the right, leading you two to be in the same position but on the other sides of the granite surface.

"I swear when I get my hands on you-" You began listing down rather violent ways on how you were going to make the male regret his actions.

Kuroo's face only grew more smug at these threats. "You're so cute when you're feeling homicidal tendencies." He cooed at you. "But I think this is much more cuter."

He grinned down at his phone, ignoring your death glare, when an idea popped into his head. "It would...be a shame if...this happened to be accidentally sent to someone."

You gasped at these words. "You wouldn't."

"Come on, let's be honest, we both know that I would."

He began tapping on his phone, preparing to send the incriminating photo to the groupchat you, Kuroo and your closest friends were in. This list included Kenma, Yaku, Bokuto, Tsukishima, Akaashi and several of your other friends. You'd never hear the end of it.

You clenched your fists in defeat and stared at your feet (which were t-rex feet but that wasn't important).

Kuroo was just about to send the photo when he heard a sniffle. He froze in his place, guilt already beginning to engulf him.

He turned to you, you were biting your lips in frustration, tears prickling the corners of your eyes. He hated when you cried, especially when he was the one that caused them to begin with.

"Hey, hey, no, I was just playing around. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to get upset." He cautiously approached you. "I won't send it to anyone, I promise."

He was now beside you, rubbing your shoulders consolingly, when he noticed the corners of your mouth rising by a fraction.

It was too late, you had grabbed ahold of his phone. You ducked under his arm and ran for the living room, quickly trying to delete the photo from both the gallery and the recently deleted folder, but you couldn't do this quickly as you were running from a feral and thoroughly betrayed man behind you.

He quickly gained on you and tried to grab the phone, you two were now having a tug of war contest with the unfortunate device. Kuroo then tripped on a shoe and fell onto the floor, his face landing on the spilt ice cream. The melted vanilla and chocolate was smeared all over the side of his face and was all over his hair but his focus was still on the phone that he managed to hold on to even during his fall.

"Let--go!" You cried out and you pulled with all your might.

"It's my phone--you hag!"

As Kuroo said this though, his grip on the phone loosened and you found yourself falling back from the sudden loss of force from his end. You exclaimed in delight as you brought the phone up to your face, only to gasp in horror as you took in what was on the screen.

Amidst the chaos that just ensued, one of you had unknowingly managed to send the photo the the group chat.

Bokuto, always the first to see messages, had already sent a dozen or so messages and gifs, his delight evident. Akaashi, who checked the chat because of Bokuto's spamming, was now sharing his own delightfully sarcastic comments. Yaku had just seen the photo and was already typing his reaction as you groaned in defeat.

Kuroo grabbed the phone from your lax hands and roared in laughter upon seeing the chat. He struggled to breath as he fell into more laughter, tears even started to prickle his eyes, when a bright light flashed and a little notification pinged from Kuroo's phone.

He looked down onto the groupchat only to see his own face, manic with glee. He had to admit, he looked ridiculous, with melted, sticky vanilla and chocolate ice cream smeared all over his face, clothes and hair, which was now messier than ever, which is saying something for the male.

He looked over at your smug face. You were still lying on the ground from your fall earlier, but your hands were now clasped on your own phone which was left on the coffee table beside you earlier.

You stuck your tongue out at him.

"I really hate you, you know." He said playfully as he began poking the sides of your stomach. You burst into laughter from his unrelenting tickling and struggled under him. When you calmed down from your fits of giggles, you sighed and smiled fondly at him. "I love you too, jerk."

The sound of a barely muffled sob reaches Deceit's ears and he frowns, looking around the corridor. Roman and Patton are downstairs making cookies. As far as he's aware, Logan is in his room, but he planned to work on Thomas's schedule until dinner. Remus is on an Imagination quest. 

That leaves...Virgil.

Another hastily muffled sniffle confirms his suspicions and he carefully eases open Virgil's door, mismatched eyes straining to see the anxious side. Virgil's huddled on his bed, wrapped up in all his blankets, and his pacifier dangles from its bat-printed clip.

Oh, Deceit thinks, and eases his way back out. Virgil doesn't notice as he slips down the hallway to Logan's room. If Virgil is upset and regressed, Deceit thinks he needs both boyfriends.

"Logan," he says quietly, startling the other side. Logan looks up with wide, slightly annoyed eyes.

"It's Virgil," Deceit murmurs, before Logan can issue a word of protest. "He's regressed and from the sounds of it, quite upset. I thought it prudent to-"

"Oh yes, of course," Logan says, rising as he speaks and accidentally interrupting Deceit. "I apologize," he says at once. "I didn't mean to interrupt you. Please continue."

"It's fine," Deceit says, stroking the back of Logan's hand. "Let's go."

This time, Deceit is more obvious opening the door, but Virgil still doesn't notice, too wrapped up in his own misery, and that concerns Deceit. And Logan, judging by the worried frown on his face. Virgil always notices when someone comes in. It's part of being Anxiety.

"Virgil?" Deceit speaks softly. Virgil looks up, startled, and Deceit can see that his eye shadow has smeared all down his cheeks. "Sweetheart, what's wrong?"

"You'll be mad," Virgil hiccups, his hand coming up and fidgeting with his pacifier. Deceit sits down next to the blanket-wrapped bundle of Anxiety, while Logan takes Virgil's other side.

"No, I won't," Deceit says. "You're upset, baby bat. I want to help you. I can't help you if I get all mad, can I?"

"No," Virgil admits. His voice is still tear-choked. "But you told me- told not to look up stuff that upsets me and- and I did, but I didn't mean to, I didn't read the tags good enough, and-" He sniffles, fresh tears welling to the surface.

Ah. Deceit exchanges a look with Logan over Virgil's bowed head. Now he can fill in the blanks, at least somewhat. Virgil has a bad habit of looking up what's been dubbed "unsympathetic sides" on Tumblr. It always upsets him and both Deceit and Logan asked him not to, or at least to talk to them first. But it's not always tagged properly, or perhaps the 'unsympathetic' portion had inadvertently been buried.

In any case, Deceit can guess who Virgil had accidentally read about. He's always the most upset when it comes to Deceit himself. You aren't like that at all! He remembers Virgil's impassioned, blubbering plea on another occasion. You won't hurt me. I know you won't.

"It's all right," Deceit soothes, smoothing down the unruly strands of Virgil's hair with one freshly ungloved hand. "I'm not mad at you, storm cloud. Logan isn't either."

"Dee is right," Logan confirms. "Neither of us are mad. Accidents happen."

"You wouldn't do that stuff," Virgil mumbles into Deceit's chest as he turns and burrows into the front of Deceit's outfit. Deceit's arms automatically come around him, rubbing soothing circles on his back. "Never ever. It's not fair. You're not mean."

"Never," Deceit affirms. "But other people have the right to write what they want, too. Do you want me to go through and see if there are any new tags I can block for you?" Virgil nods.

"Yes, please," he says in a small voice.

"Storm cloud," Logan says, attracting his attention. "Is there anything you'd like to do now? Coloring or watching a movie, perhaps?"

"Movie?" Virgil requests shyly. "You- you both stay, right?"

"Of course," Deceit says, as Logan nods. "We won't leave you, baby bat. I promise." He presses a kiss to the top of Virgil's head, making the other side giggle weakly.

"Thank you," he says as Logan fiddles with the TV, trying to find an appropriate movie for them all to watch.

"It's no trouble at all," Deceit murmurs, settling the blankets around them both. "It will be okay, Virgil. I promise."

"Okay," Virgil says, and rests his head against Deceit's chest.

makes it three years in, loses grandfather mid-way thru but pushes it all down, after the third comes the loss of a friend that he will basically never talk about now (tho people probably know ig?? considering. small town and his family at the very least were told), leading to him citing life is short and drops out to go on a backpacking trip thru europe like he thinks rich kids do and then stays with a couple friends in the states and basically . months pass and what was supposed to be his final year comes and passes before he finally promises parents to come home. its all very controversial

i think if i had to guess, the zoldycks will show up again (in a plot important way) at the end of the yorknew arc/before the greed island arc. i know basically nothing abt any of the arcs but i do know the order they go in so theres that

i do think illumi will show up earlier than the other zoldycks tho, since he seems to be out doing his own thing more than the rest. also we still really havent resolved the whole mind control thing that im still convinced of 

i think nen will finally be introduced/alluded to heavily in this arc...or like, characters will use nen and gon will be like whoa whats that 

i think killua knows what nen is...maybe? it would make sense since im sure all the zoldycks can use it (at least, we saw mom zoldyck use it, probably)

in an effort to obliterate prototype 2 from my mind here's a list of hcs for a dana-is-fine-now 5yrs later self-indulgent au

alex, dana, and ragland moved to canada via some -cough- slightly illegal maneuvers, so blackwatch can't move in on them even when they find alex again at risk of causing an international incident

(basically canada is like "hes been here for 5 years and its been fine, also if youre gonna provoke THAT then do it on US soil bc we know what happened to manhattan and do NOT want a repeat in toronto (also, cranky bc your bioweapon is ours now arent you)")

(everyone thinks ragland died after contact with ZEUS but he's fine and lives down the street.)

so mostly blackwatch just spies on the gang as they get up to dumb slice-of-life stuff

alex got a bachelor's in psychology (doing one of the "hard" sciences would feel like too much of a repeat and he's soul-searching) and now has a job as a forensic psychologist. mostly he's everyone's paperwork jockey because he doesn't complain when they dump theirs on him, but sometimes he gets to decide who gets to sit on jury duty. this drives blackwatch absolutely nuts

dana is working as an editor for a local magazine. she still keeps up with news journalism on her free time, but she’s decided to take it easy after everything that happened and the job pays pretty well.

dana has more or less come to terms with virus brother, mostly because every other week he goes on some dark and broody rant about being a monster/hearing the screams of those he's killed/his innate desire as a virus to kill consume assimilate infect, and you kinda just get used to it after a while

alex got a deal with a local slaughterhouse to buy some of their stock from them, since he likes his meat so raw it's still mooing. literally. they are convinced he's either a butcher or a cultist but you know what, that's his business

dana starts referring to the real alex mercer as just "my big brother," and not by name. similarly, she usually calls alex by name, but she also refers to him as her little brother, and when joking in private, her baby brother (he is five and she will never not find that funny)

she also really does think of him as a kid, and notes that one of the most divergent traits he has from the real alex (besides empathy) is how easily he trusts people (she jokes that she worries he'll get lured out into a white van behind the mall with promises of meat). he's also super dramatic about EVERYTHING, so her impression of him has slowly morphed from "scary semi-insane virus man but still a step up from my actual brother" to "haha, kid brother who sucks at smash bros"

since alex doesnt sleep, he usually whiles away the nighttime hours by hunting (he's got a permit and everything, at dana's insistence) or playing video games

he's REALLY GOOD at rhythm games but plays with the sound off ("it's distracting, dana" "it's The Point Of The Game, alex") and he's shit at fighting games ("have you ever considered NOT charging blindly in on me clearly about to unleash an ultimate").

he's also not great at puzzle games and dana has caught him melted into a pile of meat moss over professor layton before. this is in spite of his constant claims to have consumed some of gentek's most brilliant minds, so it only further cemented dana's "kid brother" impression

alex: i dont have a preference for toppings so i get everything on it since i dont eat with my mouth anyways. thousands of dead men's preferences means no preferences -later, after dana has forced him to try things using taste buds- alex: can i get a large pineapple and anchovy pizza with alfredo sauce instead of tomato the guy at domino's: im arresting you for pizza crimes

an argument they constantly rehash is that dana insists that alex should try shopping for real clothes while alex insists he can just shapeshift into whatever clothes he wants. this has, on one occasion, led to neighbors in the hallway overhearing alex yelling angrily that "IM ALWAYS NAKED, DANA"

dana is a big lesbian and kicks alex out of the apartment when she's got "friends" over. they both know what dana's up to but dana insists that her five-year-old brother "will understand when he gets older" when he complains about it

most people that know alex thinks he has no sense of humor. this is untrue. he just has a very limited one and very dull reactions. but one time dana showed him this

and he let out an involuntary snort/giggle and then looked very confused and kind of scared, like he had no idea what that sound was or where it came from

most people believe alex’s brows drawn, eyes narrowed glare means he’s angry, but dana knows that that’s actually his “i’m confused” look. this is also the look alex wears 70-80% of the time.

alex has a tendency to blurt out random factoids, like a walking trivia book. these facts are ALWAYS morbid and he ALWAYS only realizes that after he’s said it out loud. dana goes “i think i’m coming down with a flu that’s been going around work” and alex goes “huh, you know flus cause 200,000 hospitalization and 3,000 deaths every year” and dana gives him a Look and he pauses for a long moment before adding in a “sorry”. dana actually thinks this habit might be a leftover from how OG alex mercer liked to mansplain, but when this alex does it it’s less insufferable and more just awkward, so she doesn’t mind it that much

they have separate rooms since they both make a decent amount and live a ways out from the big city, and dana’s looks pretty normal, slightly messy, and alex’s is, hm. dana keeps insisting he try decorating it and actually putting stuff in it, so it’s home to his attempt at interior decor. the room features: a bookshelf crammed full of old textbooks and basically anything remotely novel-like that he could buy from the clearance rack, 2 (two) whole deer skeletons, picked entirely clean, a large, stainless-steel industrial-grade refrigerator/freezer unit (full of huge slabs of meat), the world’s loneliest computer desk and chair, a moldy cantaloupe in a glass box on the windowsill (”alex what is that” “i’m growing penicillin” “...why?”), a tiny photo of him and dana in a really big frame hanging on the wall, and also framed, dana’s MRI scans showing that she suffered no lasting effects from the infection. dana has had her partners accidentally walk into that room instead of hers and then call the cops. she kinda wants to say something to him about it, but since one of alex’s most common broody speech topics is how he doesn’t feel like he has a personality of his own, and since what he does have in his room certainly shows...”personality,” she figures she’ll leave it alone.

whenever a coworker starts to get friendly with him, alex pulls them aside to let them know he’s actually the blacklight virus that ravaged manhattan. he doesn’t actually use his powers because frankly it takes more energy than his current dietary plan can make back, but he insists until the coworker goes “haha okay, okay, i got it.” no one actually believes him but alex is convinced they all do, and dana has never been around for this to correct his mistake

How do you think Jiang Cheng’s mental state was right after the siege where Wei Ying died??

OHMYGOD this kind of question right after chapter 73??? asdfghjkl YOU ASKED FOR A RANT ANON-Y lol no you didn’t but im giving it to you anyway - 

From the start when the Jiang family adopted WWX, JC’s emotions and feelings towards WWX was already a mix of everything - happiness bc there’s someone he can call a brother now (remember how he can’t make friends with kids his age?), envy - bc who is this kid that his father seems to love more than him who’s his real flesh and blood, and a dash of annoyance (let’s be real, this is wwx) and also there’s love (family - time and time again, their culture tells us the importance of family). Now these feelings fester for a long time and they become deeper and deeper with all the events that happened even beyond the death of WWX. 

Continuing with what chapter 73 showed us, we might get mad at JC for not being a “good person” like WWX who’d fight these injustices happening and I can’t fault any of us for that. But then factoring in again his views in life and we shed some light to this. JC already lost the Jiang sect once (both his parents, his shidis, and so much more) and he doesn’t want to lose someone important to him again - and this time, it’s WWX. JC couldn’t care less about these “injustices” because from the start, his priority was the people he values - his family (JYL and WWX). He knows that he can’t defend WWX anymore with the “heroic” choices our protagonist had been making and those festered feelings are back again at full force. Yes, JC was already insecure from the start but he also loved WWX in his own way. Jiang Cheng is loyal to his family/sect but Wei Wuxian is loyal to his promises and those two don’t always mesh together which widens the gap between them even more. 

You see - from what I observe, if Jiang Cheng can keep those he deem important safe then the whole world can just burn. His priority has always been his family nothing more and nothing less. Now, the siege of the Burial Mounds happened after JYL’s death (supposedly at the hands of WWX now whether he knows what really happened, I’m not yet sure and I don’t even know if it matters). This triggers the words his mother has always said about WWX bringing nothing but trouble to the sect. And in this point, in his eyes it IS true.

But then again, I don’t think JC hates WWX as a person - oh, he loves him bc he’s family (and that’s the most important thing to him). What he hates is this heroic tendencies and this bleeding heart of WWX that makes WWX choose beyond their family because JC doesn’t understand that kind of “selflessness” in our eyes but a kind of “selfishness” in JC’s eyes. He’s definitely torn and broken after WWX’s death. SPOILER ALERT here like this is in one of the extras so dont read beyond if you dont wanna be spoiled again spoiler alert - my god JC fucking kept WWX’s Chenqing for thirteen years and he would have demanded for Suibian as well if the Jins didn’t get it first. Even JGY confessed to XY that there’s no way they could get Chenqing from JC despite the power LanlingJin had at that time. SPOILER DONE

His mental state then may even be compared to when he saw WWX again in Mt. Dafan and I love how it was written in the novel how those mix of emotions play again. tl;dr I CRY OVER MY YUNMENGJIANG DUO THE MOST SO PLEASE KEEP THOSE FIX-IT FICS COMING

I actually had my first conversation with someone not too long ago - I would leave a review when I got the time to read and was always so terrified (but also excited!) when she replied because I struggle with what to say. Yes I feel that so much. Even when a story sticks to me I have a tendency to forget certain parts that made me feel so much or lines that I adored and so I like to write them down and review as I go and just hope it makes sense at the end lmao.

And so I don’t do it much because I love when I get so absorbed in a story I just can’t put it down, and I don’t want to keep pulling out of it to make notes on my review. And I feel like, for me, saying “I loved this” is not enough to adequately describe how much I loved the story, and I fear (even knowing it’s unfounded) that the author might not think it’s enough. It’s a fear I know is irrational but another I can’t shake.

Yes! I’m so bad for thinking “this is great someone else will surely review and say it better than I ever could.”  I wholeheartedly agree with all of this, about making people feel good.  I really loved reading that last part, about your favourite review and how it sticks. Anon, you are the actual best. That you have that anxiety and fear and are pushing through it so that you can connect with people is amazing. If I can help assuage those fears by promising there are many folks like you (and me) that also have a hard time with conversations then I’m glad I can help. Social anxiety can really be isolating, because it pushes you away from interacting with people AND makes you assume that you’re a total weirdo for how awkward and fearful you feel.
