my goal is to one day be a published author and have a dedicated fanbase where i can peruse fanart and fanfics.

i will also post fanfics in my own fandom, under an alias of course. i will not put disclaimers about not owning the work. i will make elaborate headcanons and put the characters into different scenarios

then one day, someone will comment that they are out of character, or that my headcanon of my oc being a competitive table hockey player is wrong, and i will reply "but its canon."and they will say "no, you dont own the work, do you see the author ever saying that stuff? its a high fantasy world, dumbass." and then i will make a tweet with a screenshot on my professional author account and laugh. "but i am the author"

can you believe that we have fanfiction. that we have websites dedicated to fanfiction. that there is a place that you can go and read tens, hundreds, thousands and thousands of pieces of writing that strangers have made. people who are not "writers". people who come home at the end of the day and have feelings and say, i am going to put that into words. i am going to share those words. short, long, sweet, sad, horny, funny, wonderful words. we are all just human and we all love to make and remake and share that with others. can you believe that.

Saw another poll that asked what your natural hair color was with half the choices being shades of blonde and that just won't do. Let's go about this the professional way (this does not describe tone but tones are based off this level system). Some natural levels fall in between these, as human variation will do, but go with what you believe is closest.

Listen, you should never film strangers in public without their consent, but I swear there need to be fines or something for people who do that shit in some spaces. For example: I had to go to the ER last night, and some jerk filmed a woman who just came in and was clearly having an asthma attack. She immediately got to go back, and he was unhappy about that. Believe me, I get that it sucks having to wait when you're in pain, but you don't get to pick who deserves care when. The medical system in the US is a nightmare, and the ER could be the worst moment of someone's life. No one deserves to be recorded because some jack ass believes someone doesn't look like they need care.
