I picture Elias, Gertrude, and Jon as wearing glasses chains. Specifically with eye motifs. Does it make sense for Jon or Gertrude to have them? Not really (Jon wouldn’t know about the Eye thing until later and both he and Gertrude were unwilling avatars).

But! What if they were given the chains as a congratulatory gift for being promoted to Head Archivist. It could be a way for Jonah to keep on eye on them.

And maybe Gertrude keeps wearing glasses chains without the eye motifs after she figures out Jonah can see through them. Or maybe she only wears them in the institute and removes them when being sneaky. Idk, just thoughts

Maybe the glasses chain eyes become Jon’s eyes after he Becomes.

New DND merchant idea that I need a better name idea for but for now is the “Animal Crafter”

They refuse to make anything with animal parts, and are fully vegan. They are called the “Animal Crafter” because they could make just about anything you need to buy.

But it’s always shaped like an animal. Always. And they don’t always make sense how that animal correlates to that item.

A crab-shaped bag of holding. A shoulder pad in the shape of a curled up little fox. A frog slingshot with a red band and only shoots small black stones with little cues carved in them(it’s an enchantment, any other ammo will fire back at you).

Any weapons enchanted not to harm any animal that has not attacked you first. Any armor set bought shaped like or with etching inspired by social animals enchanted to be stronger when the entire party has a set.

Just an idea my brain had i thought was wonderful.
