Because of course he has to fall for the biker “bad boy” Jason who actually ends up being so so sweet to Tim in typical Jay fashion (ie small things like making sure he isn’t functioning on 50 cups of coffee and no sleep in three days, but still being kinda gruff?) and eventually Tim convinces Jay to let him backpack. Or maybe Jay convinces him to backpack idk

Tim stared at the bike, trying very hard not to drool but Jason was making it very hard not to wearing that black leather jacket and padded pants and those boots really should be criminal. Focus Timothy.

"Cmon birdie," Jason cooed holding out the helmet. "I got you the helmet and jacket now get your very cute ass on the bike so I can show you a very nice time."

Tim clicked his tongue and snatched the helmet putting it on. The jacket he was wearing wasn't new, it was an old one of Jay's. It smelled like cigarettes and gasoline and Tim loved it. He gingerly threw his leg over the bike.

"Move closer and put your arms around me," Jay called over his shoulder as he turned on the engine.

The roar of the motor made Tim lock his arms around Jay's waist. Oh. Okay, this was nice. The bike rumbled beneath them and the lurch as they sped off.

Tim squeezed his arms around Jason. He couldn't wait for his bad boy to show him a good time.
