Both Rook and Ortho would make great bodyguards! Both of them are powerful enough to notice both stalkers and paparazzi right away and either cover/protect Vil or dispose of any inconvenience before Vil even notices it himself.

While we were discussing it, we joked how Rook or Ortho are actually protecting the stalkers from Vil, because if stalkers somehow manage to take either of them out and go directly to Vil, Vil is going to kick the shit out of them lol

Greenhill isn’t even sure why he finds it so hot, in a way he feels bad ruining Violet’s perfectly black evenly coloured lips, but when his face is such a mess it’s a great reminder of how intense  their making out session was. I was just reading our old Cousins chats and like- we accidentally write 'terry', so often when we're meaning Teddy! This made me start thinking about how Teddy and Terry might get along... and I think its safe to say they would get along XD They're both so no-bullshit!

Here are some Teddy and Terry things XD

They meet when Teddy's 4 and Shiny's babysitting her at the club (Teddy's easy. Shiny just has to keep her lemonade topped up and she'll just sit at the bar side and colour unless she needs to go pee. And she knows to ask Shiny to go with her when she does.). Shiny has him sit down next to the kid so no wierdo's sit next to her, cuz she trusts him. He talks to the kid a little bit ('Yer Wheezy's kid?' 'Yeah. You're Shiny's friend?' 'Yeah' 'For the love of god you two, broaden your vernaculars.'), but they're both pretty content to just Sit.

Imagine Terry protecting Teddy from a creep!! Whether she's 4 or 21- there are always creeps. And since Teddy likes the club (People watching is great there), she's in contact with them more then most. And Shiny beats them off most of the time but every now and then she leaves Terry in charge of the Teddy Guard. (Side note- imagine w h e e z y seeing a creep bother his kid)

Imagine Terry and Teddy sharing a look before Shiny does something particularly nutty. Like, they aint gonna stop her- but they know when its coming XD They know the signs well XD

Imagine Uncle Smartass coming into the joint one day and seeing Terry and Teddy together and acting before thinking, of course, and almost decking Terry cuz he thinks he's a creep bothering his too-relaxed niece!! 😂😂😂😅 Shiny has to yell from the other side of the bar, like 'ITS OKAY MAN!! THATS TERRY!! HE'S COOL!!'

Tween!Teddy seeing a guy flirt with Terry and Terry not really rebuffing him like most men in this era would have (But also not really flirting back, cuz like-- theirs a kid here.), and Greasy who's at the club too rushes to try and explain to Teddy what being 'gay' is- but Teddy's just... doesn't react. Like 'yeah, okay uncle greasy. can we get cake after this??' 'em... sure. what flavour?- ' 'chocolate! ^^' Its just not in Teddy's nature to judge or care about harmless things, and besides- her mum's an lgbtqia+ rights advocate.

Shiny asking Teddy about kids she might 'like' once she gets to high school and Teddy makes the most uncomfortable, icked-out face around her drink straw!! Like, neither Shiny or Terry have ever seen Teddy give such a visceral reaction to anything!! They laugh at her XD ('Okayyyy then, I guess not!' 'Smart kid')

Omgggg I was wondering how Terry would fit into the cousin timeline! It actually makes sense that'd the kids would know him; not just Teddy, but the twins too (Poppy nor Psycho don't necessarily like the idea of their kids being in a club, but Poppy trusts Shiny and sometimes they needs a late night babysitter). And Jewel definitely like you said! If course she'd know about her mom's best man ^^

Ohhh if Terry saw a creep near Teddy (or any of the kids), I think that's the only real time he'll get scary. He'll actually shove the bastard off (he's not strong like Moony, but he is a factory worker and can wrangle in a good sized fish while fishing, so I'd say he's fairly built for his age and health) and tell them to get lost before he calls Shiny over. And any regular at the club knows that a police officer would be a lot more merciful than what that crazy woman will do. Or better yet, Terry will threaten to grab the kids father- and nobody wants to deal with a full blown gangster (I am very certain Wheezy will have zero patience for any creep looking at his kid)

Terry will apologize to Teddy for having to see that and get her a pretzel or something, too.

(I raise you; imagine navy, tough as nails Lottie witnessing a creep on any of her little cousins.)

And Terry and Teddy with Jewel at the club!!! Yes yes yes yes yes!!!! I've been debating whether or not Shiny would bring her baby to work, actually. She knows she can trust Terry and her coworkers, but also- which parent would be better for the baby to stay with? The parent that works in a night club, or the parent that works in the night under a much more sinister job?

As for the hands thing and high school crushes- yeah, he'd be amused XD Terry can't can't resist a snicker seeing the chill sister of the cousin group actually make a face other than lackadaisical. He considers that a win, "'Yer so much like your 'pa, y'know that, kid?"

I wish I could add more, but nothing can beat all this perfection! But this did get me thinking about Moony and how he'd fit in the cousins' lives. If Terry can be well acquainted with them thanks to his friendship with Shiny, than Moony's connection to Poppy definitely has to earn him an honorary uncle title for the twins.

Moony I can see him being introduced to the twins a week or so after they were born. He knew when the due date was, but insisted on letting Poppy recuperate before trying to visit. (It took a lot of convincing Psycho I imagine. His protective instincts were through the roof around this time especially.) He fell in love instantly.

Moony can't babysit all the time due to his morning work, but he pitches in whenever he can ^^ it's especially helpful since Pops and Psycho are working and are still figuring out their schedules so they can be with the kids enough. Moony will not let the babies out of his sight the entire time; he'll carry them around carefully in his jacket, too (can you imagine how tiny toon weasel and rabbit babies could be!?!? Omgggg I can't even!) So Cake gets to have roomies XD

Speaking of Cake; She still disapproves Psycho XD she'll stomp her foot the second she sees hom walk in through the door (it really is on sight with that weasel XD), but will dash over to Poppy and Penny and Percy and give them love. Cake is very obvious in who her favorites are XD

Moony helped the kids learn how to treat animals. He taught Percy to be careful with his claws while petting Cake, and Penny that she can't affectionately squeeze an animal while hugging it. He'd also help the other kids, too ^^

Moony with Jewel!! Percy and Penny's honorary sister!!! Ohhh my god Moony will not be prepared for the evil mastermind this child is XDDD he is genuinely shocked that Jewel isn't their biological sister, honestly XD though she could wind up telling him some cousin secrets-

MOONY AND LOTTIE!!! Ok I'm surprised we haven't discussed them sooner; you've mentioned that Lottie would grow a crush on Moony when she was older. I'm pretty sure Poppy would have told Moony at least about her little niece, and they would have seen each other at least once before she went into the navy. But he wouldn't have been too involved, I think; he and Smartass don't know each other, and he understands that he has no place to raise this little weasel, so he gives the father and daughter some space. This guy has no idea Lottie thinks he's hot and his brain would factory reset if he found out 😆😅

Ooohhh Terry would be nothing compared to what Moony would do if he found a creeper around any of the kids. He will throw the guy away and will growl and snarl, with his claws bared. The only thing stopping him from going completely savage is knowing that the little ones are near. So he runs the guy off before worryingly checking the kids, regardless of how old they are.

... Ok an angsty thought, but; imagine if Moony is still in love with Poppy, how much it hurts to know she and Psycho are starting a family; Moony knows that Poppy is full blown 100% committed to Psycho now, and the chances of them getting back together are gone. It's painful, but he looks after the twins like his own children too.

So I said I would offer you some of my ocs for possible ships and here I am... (haven't found sexualities on the bios so bare with me if I mess up)

For Dillon I wanted to offer Erena or Eve mainly cause Erena could go on fun adventures with him and would know well with is boundaries and Eve... is very smart and still wants to learn lots about humans...

For Dalia... either Kome or Mellow Mellow is also more art focused and gets kinda nervous around cute girls, he would be interested... while Kome has lots of stories to tell and has a love for literature which could be a nice combo.

For Domas... Carol could guide him in a better direction while giving him a good fill of praise, she is also stressed a lot so extra help be fine. Gilly might find him more entertaining than annoying... might also be pointing him in a better direction to help others

Akshaya... most of my "Strong people" might be old but... Zariyah might be a good pick... she wants to be a hero and keep people safe... and she is very patient with people so...

Lastly for Szilárd is really hard but... Dragiselle could be maybe an option.... Flynn maybe too... thoughts behind this is moreso that they are moreso been through hardships and know to deal with similar problems... and Flynn can match some drama... but this ideas are more loose

It's fun to find good interactions between OCs, so let's hope we can get something out of these 👀 And sorry it took me a while to get to it, I've been busy and tired lately, and I wanted to take a proper look to these and make sure I got it all right! It's long, so continues under the cut~

Also, about the sexualities, I don't have that in their info posts, my bad. I have talked about them in the past but I understand that would be hard to find just looking at the basic infos for them! A fast list would be: Dillon: some sort of demi-bi (it's hard for me to grasp his XD), Dalia, Domas, Oriol: bi, Yuuki: Ace, Szi: Gay (can be lesbian if I genderbend, I don't mind doing that, but always has to be the same gender as Szi), and Akshaya not sure 🤔 I'd go with demi-bi too.

Anyway, now for the actual answers!

Dillon: I think both could have good dynamics with him, for sure. But with Eve it might be more of a friendship 🤔 But Erena would definitely get along a lot with him. They have a bunch of similarities (actually, Luffy was one of my inspirations behind Dillon hahah just little things). Also, he's GREAT at swimming, so he could help her out if she ever had problems with that~ Idk, just the picture of them going to adventures together seems quite cute and fun 😌💕

Dalia: For her, I think the two you said could work. With Kome they'd have lots of fun playing chess or other board games (Dalia really likes games that you play with logic and strategy). They could also debate or Kome could tell her about her stories. Also, just in aesthetic, I think their colour palettes would look nice together 💕 And with Mellow, if he's all nervous and shy with girls, he'd have lots of fun teasing him. And she'd find him adorable hahah But they could also bond over art and, aside from her teasing, she'd be really nice and gentle with him, so maybe he'd feel more at ease/less insecure around her afte a while?

Domas: For Domas, I am leaning more towards Carol, to be fair. Gilly is cute and they seem like a fun combo for Domas haha But Carol being much more down to earth seems like a better fit for him, so it doesn't end in full chaos xD Also, Carol's motherly vibe can go along well with his want to help people too, so they'd get along. But she'll need… A LOT of patience xDD Also, the pixelated food part made me laugh, since he's a great cook. Maybe he can help her cook more… nice looking food? xD OH, and the part where she gets flustered and shy easily, Domas is all sweet and gentlemanly, so he might make her blush a lot, which would be cute 🤭 (Also, apparently Domas has a thing for people with glasses, it seems /hj)

Akshaya: Aww, Zariyah seems super cute and nice, I like her. If she goes on about wanting to be strong to help other and/or to be a hero, Akshaya would definitely like her and want to be her friend. If she's all friendly open, she'd make Akshaya blush for sure too, but she'd like it. I guess it turning to ship would depend on how the situation goes from that point 🤔 it could also end in platonic, but I can see some ship potential!

Szilárd: First about this, don't worry, Szi is a complicated guy and it's hard for me to think of relations and frienships for him sometimes too hahah So I get it. Now, for the options you gave me, I'd say I don't see Flynn as much with him 🤔 I'm not sure how I'd approach the relationshi, Szi is just so mean, he'd just scorn him I think hahahaha I'm sorry, Flynn, it's not you, it's Szi being an asshole XDDD But with Dragiselle I can see it more! Well, in this case I'd go with fem!Szi from what I told you earlier. But she's all strong and cool. Maybe they could clash a bit at first (again, Szi's fault for being like he is XD), but I can see Szi seeing the good parts she has, her strong magic, her dedication and all, and wanting to be closer. Also, both have had isolated childhoods (for different reasons), so they can also find a common ground with that~ And since they're both "arts inclined" they might be able to bond over that as well. Idk, she's pretty too(?) that's a plus hahah

A) Why are you excited about this character?

B) What inspired you to create them?

Honestly, the sole inspiration and thoughts that initially went into his original creation in the Cyberpunk CC was the brief summary of the corpo world that's on the lifepath choice. I kinda felt drawn to the dystopian aspects of it all, the high stakes, the black-and-white thinking... Mind you, I knew zero about the setting, and so I was like "hm okay, edgy, dark, uncompromising corpo guy, what could he look like?". Then I found the mullet hairstyle and was like "hm.... business in the front, party in the back... I mean, that does sort of fit, right?" Then I found the colourful hair options and was like "goddammit... okay, he gets to be a little funky". Then I saw the piercings and tattoos and was like "fuck... okay, maybe there is a bit more background story that I still need to figure out here, but that's a problem for future-me". And that's basically how that all happened. Personality-wise I really sort of created and got to know him over the course of my first playthrough and as of now am really deep diving into figuring who he really is xD

C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?

There are a few moments in the game that made me throw over and rearrange his background story here and there. But funnily enough, the ending I ended up getting for him - without knowing what endings there even were - fit what I had in mind for him as a "perfect" ending eerily well. Not 100%, there are a few details I would change, but still - his story is a very coherent one for me with a lot of lovely parallels and repeating patterns, so much so that even though it is a very angsty and often seemingly hopeless story, I like it a lot.

E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

Oooooof that is a good question... Actually, I think I'd have my troubles with getting along with him initially, or even getting close to him. He comes across very differently than how he really is like with people he lets close. I'd be too intimidated probably to ever get to the point where I'd get to know his real self, because I wouldn't approach him or be persistent enough to want to get to know him better after being brushed off repeatedly xD Like, okay dude, you do you, never mind I asked.

Vice versa, I do think he'd get along with me - if he wanted to. We do have a lot in common (he's my character after all and I'm projecting a lot of stuff onto him that he can deal with on my behalf xD). I think we'd connect over shared interests, experiences, humor etc. and with that side of him I would then also get along very well. We're both sarcastic little shits, and I think I could learn from him how to be more confident, and he could learn from me.... uuuuhhhh.... probably something valuable, too! XDD

Just watched the new Tokyo Mew Mew and I must say I'm still not sure what to think of it XDD

I think in some areas it's better...In others I still very much prefer the OG, or the manga especially. Idk it just seems like the animators didnt put that much work in....But then again in the OG I vividly remember Aoyama switching skin colour in between shots so...

Anyways I'm still not sure wether I'm more of a Kishigo or Ichiryou Stan but I'm just...no longer feeling the vibes from aoyama XDD It feels more like he just happened to be around while the other two actually make for some character development...

Surprised there's not all that much fics around for it though, especially since I vaguely seem to remember it being fairly popular when I first watched it???

a/n- now most people will assume when “magical girls” are mentioned, it’s mostly hmm sailor moon, card captor sakura or magica madoka types…ehhh these hcs are based more on the “pretty cure / precure” category of magical girls. I’m pretty sure some of you may have heard the name of this franchise before. thought i should make this clear before anyone gets confused with the weird hair colour references from early 2000-2010s precure xDD.

Nobunaga - the blue haired leader

He’d be the unnamed leader of the team 

You know, those blue haired ones ? They’re mostly doing the actual team leading of the magical girls group

His suggestions are always taken into consideration until… Well his teammates are face to face with the evil villains- 

He still tries though….in vain 

Oh and he is in fact the president of his school’s student council

Masamune - the red haired sporty one

The sportiest of ‘em all! 

You’d assume he’s the guy who just absolutely adores baseball or soccer (football)

Nope, very wrong!

This dude here takes his kendou seriously, is part of the club even and practices every afternoon

Extremely loyal to his friends and hates seeing his teammates being hurt 

Butts his heads with Nobunaga plenty times but they’re still amazing friends~

He is also childhood friends with our Mai and is her neighbour!

Hideyoshi - the mature and motherly purple haired  

Side leader of the team who…Well no one listens to xD RIP 

Give the poor guy a raise! He deserves it. And no, his teammates better not call him the paranoid overbearing mother or he will sulk in the corner :( (Mai will always make him feel better though)

He drops fun facts throughout the day like how teachers break their chalk 

Will have the “right fun fact” that will be needed later in the day to defeat a cockroach shaped villain who’s destroying the city and save the day

Mitsuhide - the pastel hair coloured villain turned into a magical girl 

Could also be the prince or soldier of his beloved fallen fantasy other dimensional world and working to save the the current world he’s staying at

People find him super shady…Which is understandable

Especially if he was an ex-villain

Hideyoshi was initially super wary of him until Mitsunari started hanging out with him

The perfect match with Mitsunari, they are somehow besties 

Don't ask why, I make the rules here 

Ieyasu - the other cranky blue haired teammate 

He’s salty all the time 

But is worried about his teammates’ health all the time, even more than Hideyoshi at times but will never tell

Will be arguing with the Mai most of the time, you know how that saying goes

“Those who fight a lot are close friends indeed”

It’s something like that between them 

Does his magical girl duties perfectly, and when he gets hurt? Will hide it until Mai comes over to do first aid…

He will accept begrudgingly

But the most recent things I touched would be a short drabble for one person who followed me and was instantly attacked with a message if they have requests because I felt like it ;D I am so sorry for taking so long, I will get back to it soon T-T Another thing was some fengqing (or more like qingfeng xd) short make-out session lmao. I’m also taking part in mxtx big bang where am beta-ing a fun fic for a fun person 💚 There is also one artist who I asked if I could share their beautiful art here but never actually got to it and it’s been months?? since then. Plus I have so many artists to catch up on here. Also another semester on my uni started and projects are soon due. And at work we’re reaching a deadline for a huge project where I’m leading a big portion of it so I sometimes stay late at work and end up v tired. 

So yeah, I have a lot of responsibilities and promises while my free time is very short, so all of these private and creative things take up whatever tiny bit of strength and time I have and thus take so painfully long :’) I don't remember the last time when I had much time for myself instead of helping someone out or doing responsibilities or just lying mindlessly because of exhaustion xdd so ye that's one of the reasons why I'm significantly less active and not up to date in the fandom recently. assorted Opinions on the Thirteen's designs:

prima is somewhat boring, except he has glowing tiddy windows and a glimpse of like... u know when u reach up and ur shirt pulls up as well? it's cute.

vector has lovely shoulders. im not sure what to think of these robots with beards but i buy this one better than trion's haha.

alpha trion has actual Shoes and he's almost virulently magenta. he has glyphs all over and i don't think they say anything, they don't look like the cipher. makes me want to do more glyph work xD

solus actually has a pretty neat design, but i really would rather remove the cable hair xD also would rather a less monochrome colour scheme, but at least she isn't trion levels of Purple.

micronus looks way cooler here than in RID2015 haha. i wanna see his feet in side view, they have an interesting silhouette.

took me this many years to figure out what facial expression alchemist is making lol. dude highkey looks like an owl with its beak open and ngl that would be cool xD

nexus is fucking awesome. now there's a beautiful robot.

onyx also looks pretty good, except i can never take wings with that many holes in seriously.

Heyo! It's me again (decided to do away with anonymity loll) XDD I was wondering, just out of curiosity of course, what Mairon's appearance is in "no better hope"? I imagined him to have a fur-lined dark coat in the style of the one that y'all reblogged for Finarfin, but I wasn't quite sure ... And is what colour is his hair? And skin tone? Thanks for putting up with my nitpicky questions! ^^;;;

OMG what a STRESSFUL and EXCITING ASK

So Mairon at times wears sort of a close-fitting deerskin coat, black or dark brown, flexible with many years of wearing.

Something like this without the colorful sash.

But notably he wears fur around his neck/shoulders-- a shifting configuration of pelts, depending on the season, or even a fur vest. In fall/winter, he might go with furs altogether.

Here are some relevant descriptions:

Celegorm stands, hand close to his holster. It is hard to recognize the shape that draws near as a man at first; it is too bulky about the shoulders. But the clouds have cleared away and the moon is shining, and in a spot of that moonlight, Celegorm sees—it is a man after all, and instead of a long coat he wears an opulent mass of furs wreathed around him.

His eyes are fixed on Celegorm—it is too dark to see them, but they are sunken in a pale, keen face. The hair that stretches past his shoulders, surprisingly sleek, is pale too. It is lighter than Celegorm’s own.

“Oh—like a vulture?” The man smiles, and his teeth are lighter than his hair and his face and Celegorm dislikes all the silver moonlight on him, drowned out though it is by the softness of his fur mantle.  He dislikes also the idea of a vulture—it makes him think of the buried bones.

So there, Mairon was basically shrouding himself in a fur cloak. We also know that he's very pale, with amber eyes (almost yellowy in some lights) and light blond hair.

When poor Mae first sees in him within the hollow crown, he's wearing leather:

Mairon steps into view. He does not wear his furs this morning, and is slight and long without them. He is clad instead in fine-tooled leather, and felted black cloth. His hair is braided at one temple, combed smooth across the other shoulder.

His eyes, as always, are like a tiger’s eyes.

Back down the hall. Gone are the chance and the dawn. Boots thunder, and there is Mairon, his furs seeming to stand on end around his neck and shoulders. Jem and Galway at his belt. A brush of scarlet across his cheekbones, too stark to be a blush.

He keeps "trophies" (scalps) at his belt, and of course, he later weaves the hair he took from Mae into his neck furs. So whenever he wears fur it's very bristly and full around the neck and shoudlers.

Blood-painted face optional.

Maedhros stiffens, and the manacles at his wrists clank. A sign of fear, and therefore, failure. He sees that written on Mairon’s still face when the man steps into view.

He has removed his heavy furs and his outer coat, and he wears a leather apron over his dark vest and breeches.

*gulp* least said about this scene the better, but the crucial point is that he's always wearing dark clothes and layers.

Mairon smiles, nearly close-lipped. The tip of an incisor peeks through. “Ah.�� He shrugs, and in the light of day, Maedhros sees that the furs he wreathes around his shoulders are no longer solely black. Copper glints among the tufts of ebony—copper hair.

This is from the end of within the hollow crown, and then we get to no better hope--aka what you actually asked for--

He is taller than me, I think. I cannot tell if he is broader at the shoulders, for he is shrouded in a sort of pelisse of fur, both of black and of lighter colour.

So: no longer the mantle he was wearing in the woods, but a pelisse, which is a shorter cape. Fingon might be using it broadly here, but once more, neck & shoulders being all fitted out in a big black fur with--oh no--

Shows me red amid the black and tawny furs.

Not red so much as copper.

Hunters take trophies.

Those are not tufts of fur, about his throat. They are locks of hair—

Also it says he's wearing boots. But that's sort of a given.

Harringrove Week of Love 2020 Day 7 - Accidental Marriage || Mirror Sex || College AU

Hi hi! Last day, and again late ;D Please bear with me because I have a LOT to say about this one xDD I kind of suggest reading the whole thing! I promise you it’s a good story :’) SO! I thought of this idea BEFORE I drafted idears for Week of Love…The original concept actually was at a club! :o Because boys go to gay clubs while in college, right? xD But then someone suggested to me it should be at a college party in someone’s apartment/house so it would fit the College AU theme better xD ANYWAYS! I did the thing, but the basic idea remains: I first visualised this while listening to Chemical Brothers’ Swoon! I pictured Billy walking into the club, the boys don’t know each other…Steve is kind of around, and then Swoon plays (which btw…TOTALLY NOT A LATE 80s, EARLY 90s song xDD) and Steve is like…YESSS! And he goes off to the dance floor and starts to enjoy himself :) (Btw… @yikesharringrove and I have a headcanon that Steve is trained in Ballroom dancing cause his parents probably paid and forced him to go to those classes where they teach you classy manners and polite bs, etc xD) Then Billy notices Steve dancing, and he’s digging it! So he then approaches Steve from behind at some point in the song xD And then starts to dance-touch him…but then I put Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode or Policy of Truth into the picture…and I further developed that when Billy is sexy dancing with Steve he whispers the song lyrics into his earrrrr….and Steve just melts :’) As you can see in this drawing, Billy is REALLY close to Steve xD And his hand is kind of approaching an area it shouldn’t xDD Esa mano, Billy! lmaooo. Is Steve encouraging his hand to go down there? Is he taking it off? Is Steve okay with this stranger dancing like this behind him? xD Or do they actually know each other like in normal canon and are now flirting with each other in college? Are they roommates? Is Steve getting chubby because of college stress (yes please! xD)? Is this a modern au version with Swoon? Or are we in 1990 and totally enjoying some Depeche Mode? IDK! Honestly, this scenario can bend many ways, so you tell me! I’d love to hear what you guys think and how you’d like to interpret it! :) And maybe someone or MANY of you writing some fucking fanfics of this? xD Pretty please? ALSO! Yikes helped me pick this shirt for Steve! c: It was supposed to be more pastel in colours but…my markers SUCK! xD And Yikes and I also have another headcanon with Billy getting other tattoos, hence the blade at the bottom of his forearm! He has a matching one on the other arm but you can’t see it xD Anyways, I had a good time drawing this one, so I hope people love it as much as well! Cheers!

WIP Wednesday + Trivia Tuesday

My current little work:

1) I had been drawing this piece for 2hrs yesterday and it was quiet a challenge, since I find it difficult being creative with colour shades and oil paint style of painting.

2) The character is one of the giveaway winners! They won a second place which stands for the background-less portrait.

3) I've kind of went a little to far choosing lineless type of approach to this piece, but I like the way it's turning out! I haven't spoiled the drawing progress to the winner yet, but I hope they'll like it!

4) I'd been listening to The Witcher 3 soundtracks on YouTube while I was consumed with process! Instrumental music, where's no actual leading vocal, helps concentrate on the process better when listening to energetic tracks x)

5) The Photoshop brushes I used are actually Nipuni's! They're very comfortable and the texture is so good, I like them so much :))

Nickname: Don’t really have one, to be honest! I mostly just go by Harold. Though demented souls insist on calling me “Hozza” LMAO

Height: Last time I checked, I was 5’7-ish

Time: uuuh 7:43 PM, Spanish time (I’m currently in a house in the middle of nowhere, about three hours away from Madrid. Nice and isolated xDD)

Favourite band(s)/artist(s): By default I guess I’m a fan of Imagine Dragons because I have a bunch of their songs on my Itouch :P. Artist-wise, I lean into a lot of soundtracks for my music; my favourite composer is John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon 1-3, Ice Age 2-4, Chicken Run), but I also like Jay Vincent (Ninjago) and Ramin Djwadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man)

Song stuck in my head: it’s not actually stuck in my head but I’m currently listening to “The Night King” from the Game of Thrones season 8 OST (say what you will about how that final season turned out, the music was just as good as it’s ever been if not better)

Last movie I saw: You know what? It’s actually been too long since I just sat down and watched a movie, so I can’t say for sure xDD That being said, Into the Spiderverse is kind of always on my mind, so. I’m just gonna give that as my answer.

Last thing I googled: The logo for Marvel’s new “Loki” series? I wanted to show it to some friends, I think

Dream job: On the one hand, writing professionally would be absolutely fantastic, but on the other, I’m not sure if I’d want to make a career of it, because that might make it less fun. Guess I’ll have to see how that plays out as I get older.

Dream trip: I’m just coming off the back of three weeks of interrailing across Europe, so right now I can’t imagine being happy going anywhere other than back to my room and hibernating for a couple of months xDD

Instruments I play: Drums, mainly! Also I have a kazoo, I’m working on learning the Swanee Whistle (which isn’t as impressive as it sounds, let me tell you), and I sing in the shower pretty consistently

Rightio, I am not sure if anyone likes this but I am continuing! (Whenever I have the mood of course :p). I will do Izawa Yuuki-kun’s guest corner after this because I enjoyed his appearance because he gives out many behind-the-scenes stories (although I iz biased only on Piroshi & Gakkun’s Hijikata because they look more similar to HijiHiji #/CHIIzurumode) or maybe Piroshi’s (but Piroshi’s one is better in the honpen version :D funnier). Then lastly Gomoto Naoya-kun and Shuuto-kun. Let’s see if I have the time

PART02: Matsuda Ryo-kun (12/08, Kyoto, EVENING)

Ryo-kun: Yeah

M-P: A lot of memories

R: Definitely and just now, just in time when I was about to enter this stage I passed by Saitou Hajime (Hashimoto Shohei-kun ^^) and I thought he has such a gooood expression~ (his face)! And when I saw that thought, I am glad he is the Saitou Hajime now.

M-P: … The first Hakumyu was in Ikebukuro, a small place that first just about 200 persons.

R: Yeah

M-P: Matsuda-san was giving his all XD

R: And I was talking in fullblast Kansai-ben too XD Wa, that brings back memories.

M-P: Back then I kinda judged would this kid be able to talk properly.. (Tokyo’s accent / without Kansai-accent) XD

R: lol and now I can speak fluently XD

M-P: Such a reliable person

R: That time I was just 21 years old M-P: So that was 4 years ago..

R: Yes this year I am turning 25 years old

You see before I came I received a LINE message from Yazaki-san (Piroshi)

R: Oh he said ‘ライブがんばれよ’ it was all in Hiragana -.- But that’s just like him XD And I said I will do my best anyway.

M-P: Do you still remember your lines (Saitou Hajime’s)?

R: More or less I do

M-P: We wanna hear it right?

*M-P passes him a Katana* R: You know just now (noon performance), I wrongly placed the Katana on my left side (** because Saitou Hajime is famous for being a left-handed Samurai so he always had his katana on his right side.. in which as far as I know when I was really into Japanese history back then XD;; — it is not an acceptable / out of norm for a ‘samurai’ to behave in such a way, duh right? And that’s why Saitou Hajime felt so strongly with Shinsengumi, because they accepted him for his skills ^^)

M-P: lol that was a mistake

R: Yeah it was

Audiences: KAKOIII

R: Thank youu //// Ahem.. eh wait.. (he forgets his line here XD) Audiences: GANBAREE!!

R: *recites Saitou Hajime’s line* If you have conviction, be it a comrade or not, you’d cut. blablah

R: During Kazama-hen, there was a scene of me with Amagiri-san (Gomoto Naoya), it was a scene in which Amagiri-san lines was to explain something. And Saitou Hajime, me was supposed to be at standing at the left side of the stage over there, to listen. There was such a scene. And just ONCE, I think it was Kobe-performance, I didn’t appear (to stage :p). So the Amagiri-san at that time just went through with his lines on his own alone. And I was actually just at the side-stage seated, waiting for the next scene. I sat and I sat. Till suddenly Heisuke, Ikeda Junya-kun came running and yelled ‘GET OUT THERE!’ and I was just slightly annoyed like wth? ‘HA? WHY SHOULD I?’ and he said ‘IT IS YOUR SCENE, GET OUT ON THE STAGE’. And I realized belatedly ‘Eh?…… EHHHH?!!!’

& ever since that incident, I really get ready but for every performances after that, any other casts Shuuto-kun or Manji-san would stand to look over me and make sure it goes well and each time I will *fighting pose* to them (lolol XDD)

R: & then another mistake I did was, there was a time I left my Katana and that was supposed to be my final fighting scene. I think that was also during Kazama-hen and I was in a state of not being able to do anything at all. And then I made eye-contact with Suga-chan (the ensemble), and just forcefully grabbed his Katana away and started my sword fighting performance. (LOLLL OMG THIS RYO-KUN XD)

And there is a line of Saitou Hajime that Mori-san likes.. and at that time it really came to me.. I thought, ahhh it’s meee?! XDD (hehe I am not sure what’s the translation something about one’s failure ruining one-self.. one of Saitou’s complicated line but at that time, that line came to his head and feels like he himself is being ‘scolded’ by Saitou Hajime).

I think all the humans who have participated in Hakumyu has made it to what it is today. From now on too, this project.. no.. I would be very happy if everyone can continue to raise their passionate love for Hakumyu and Shinsengumi. Yoroshiku.

R: And the noon performance, it was Suzuki Shougo-san and Kashiwagi Yuusuke-san’s 100th Hakumyu performance.. wait wait *runs to get presents*

Could I give this to you both? XD For you 100th performance, and for being and supporting Musical Hakuouki, until now I am very grateful and respect the both of you, please accept this (He had only one bouquet so Shougo-kun and Yuusuke-kun have to share it :p)

R: It has been 4 years plus,  and this is the 2nd Hakumyu LIVE too and to see so many people coming here loving Hakumyu, I am so so happy. & just like the Saitou Hajime’s line I did just now, Fukuchou’s line (Magai mono ga nan darou ga, tsuranukya, Makoto ni naru which is Fake or whatever, if you push through then it will be Reality/Truth) — I still keep that line even now, as an actor. I thought that line is really the ‘Truth’ (Makoto). Being with everyone today, made me think about it even more. (I think the context is like, just like the line, they did their very best to come to this point in which so many people adores Hakumyu — it has become a Reality ‘Truth’.)
