A little portrait/colour study of Lanone, goddess of Science and Logic! This is how she appears to the people of Alanthro, one of the human cultures in my stories.
Just a bit of backstory: Alanthro is an island country inspired by bits and pieces of Japan’s Heian Period. Because the ocean is such a big part of the Alanthro’s culture, the people naturally project ocean themes onto the gods and goddesses. So for Lanone, her eyes are like the sun on the ocean, and her colours are reminiscent of the sea.

After my 10 OCs portrait project, I decided to do something for my stories’ prophets! I put them in order based on when they appear in Omniaa’s timeline; here are the first three and their respective patrons:
Haenyras, known as the First Prophet, whose duty was to guide the three kindreds (humans, elves, and dwarves) through their first contact. He was chosen by Syrinen, god of Balance and Morality.
Notarah, a dwarven architect, who took a large part in settling the conflicts brewing within his people, and helped pave the way towards a new future. He was chosen by Lanone, goddess of Science and Logic.
Hamehtan, the Desert Prince, who was born during the golden age of his people and, witnessing oncoming wars, fought to bring peace between the desert kingdoms. He was chosen by Jevere, god of the Four Elements.
The second batch of prophets will be up once I finish them! :D

I thought I’d post the completed prophet project! Here are the nine prophets of Omniaa and their patrons, including the Dark Goddess and her First Demon.
You can find more tidbits on the individual prophets here: part 1, part 2, and part 3.

What’s this? Another prophet portrait?? Close, but not quite! Halfway through drawing my prophet series, I had an idea to include the Dark Goddess, Valienne!
I mentioned in another post that Valienne never chose a prophet because she believed she didn’t need one. However, she does have Sedire, the First Demon of Omniaa, her greatest creation and closest servant. Valienne proudly (and rather arrogantly) holds him as greater than her siblings’ prophets, but if we were to look at it objectively ... She’s kinda right loll ^^;;;
This is due to Sedire having received all his power from Valienne. Meanwhile, the other prophets were gifted by their patrons specifically to deal with the conflicts at hand. For example, Deamala’s healing ability wouldn’t do much against him in a fight loll
So far, the only prophets that have gone up against him are Athel and Rune (at different time periods too), and I must say that they were in bad situations at the time ^^;;; But aside from that, I think the prophets most likely to do him some damage would be Athel (certain magical abilities) and Aurelydan (enhanced bard power).

Esmenaa, goddess of Healing, as she’d appear to the Torda, another human culture from my stories! The Torda are inspired by the Middle East (I haven’t nailed the specific countries yet, but that’s the general gist of it).
In Omniaa, the Torda are situated in the desert, so this version of Esmenaa has a sandy palette. However, there can be different interpretations even within one culture, so I think Esmemaa would be pictured with an oasis theme as well XDD

Throwback Thursday to that time in 2016 when I drew a portrait series of Omniaa’s gods and goddesses for the first time EXCEPT ONE GOSHDAMMIT.
Whelp thank goodness for my recent prophet series loll But still! I wish I’d finished that last portrait siiigh It’s supposed to be Cadran; I remember not knowing what to do for his pose, plus I wasn’t sure about his design, so I gave up ^^;;;
In order, they are: Xanor, Mariphena, Thalinos, Esmenaa, Jevere, Fenorea, Syrinen, Lanone, cADraN, and Valienne.

Another portrait/colour study! Here’s Fenorea, goddess of Flora and Fauna, as she appears to the Sun-Beings (one of my non-human peoples)! As you can probably guess, the sun plays a big part in Sun-Being culture, so they’d imagine Fenorea with such elements -- in this case, sunlight shines through her hair like dappled light through a forest canopy or vines.

I wanted to try my hand at a different pose this time, and also give one of the gods a shot XDD So here’s Cadran, god of Magic and creator of the elves, as he’s seen by the High Elves!
Reference photo (I tried looking for the model, but I wasn’t able to find him; if you know who he is, please let me know so I can add proper credits!)

Throwback to an old drawing of angry Aurelydan! This one is quite sketchy; I wanted to focus on practicing with colour/lighting rather than stress about making it a polished piece. The colours aren’t as vibrant as I’d like, and the face anatomy is a bit off, but! It’s all part of the learning experience! :DDD

The last three prophets of my prophet project! Here we have:
Aurelydan, Prince Imperial of the Melodian Empire, who saw the downfall of the emperor and led his people to a new country. He was chosen by Xanor, god of Imagination.
Deamala, an ambassador’s assistant, who used her patron’s gifts to heal others from a great plague. She was chosen by Esmenaa, goddess of Healing.
Rune, an orphan town girl, who was born during an invasion on her homeland and later strove to reclaim it from the invaders. She was chosen by Mariphena, goddess of Light, Love, and Life, and Creator of humans.
Despite there being ten deities of Omniaa, there are only nine prophets because the Dark Goddess, Valienne, believed she didn’t need one.
Thus concludes my prophet portrait series!! I’m so happy I finished it hahaa And thank y’all for putting up with all my OC art! :'’’’’D
