Leo looked at his phone for a good second and then left it on his bed, unattended. he ran to your residence hall— it didn’t matter to him that it was quite literally on the other side of campus. he needed to hear you say the words he had been waiting to hear since he was fifteen. he’d always had a slight crush on you, mostly off and on.

But during the summer, he had fallen for you even harder than he thought he could. he never thought that he could love someone as much as he loved you. anyway, he was practically dying as he ran to your dorm! his hair was disheveled, and he was panting a bit. he wasn’t sure if he was sweaty because he was nervous, or because he had just ran to get to your dorm.

He knocked on your door three times.

You jumped out of your bed. you felt like throwing up from how nervous you were. you quickly slid on your slippers, and looked in the mirror before you opened the door for him. (making the poor boy wait). you adjusted your hair, making sure it sat right.

You took a deep breath before opening the door. you almost didn’t, but a voice in your head was telling you that you’d be an idiot if you didn’t open the door. your hands gripped the doorknob, and then unlocked it. leo was practically dying because you were taking years to open the stupid door. you finally opened it, getting met by a disheveled-sweaty-flushed leo valdez.

“Hi.” he croaked out, his voice cracking slightly. he felt like he was on fire, literally. he wanted this to be over with! well, no, that’s a lie. he just wanted to be your boyfriend already.

“…Hi.” you answered, your voice was quiet. you had an awkward smile on your face. you were praying that you would just drown at this moment. you’d much rather enjoy that than this.

He cleared his throat, and finally spoke after a long minute of awkward silence. The two looked at each other “I really… really like you. I.. Uh.. You obviously know that already, but I wanna tell you in person?” he said, nodding along with his own words. his hands went to fumble with the hem of his shirt, anxiously waiting for your response.

“I really like you, too.” You replied. you didn’t feel as nervous as anymore when he started to talk. you felt your face getting hotter, and your smile getting bigger. he grinned at you like an idiot.

He thought that he was dreaming when you said you liked him. The start of something. “Really?” He asked, just wanting to hear you say it again. He couldn’t help but grin like an idiot. He thought never in a million years that you’d ever like him! You were totally out of his league. you were so awesome, so pretty, and so sweet.

You nodded again, rolling your eyes. “Yes, really.”

hey thank u for sharing ur story with me ❣️ honestly the thing that rly hurt about it looking back is it was in a v vulnerable time in my life. i rly had practically nobody. i lost almost all my friends bc i was suddenly a "whore" for getting raped. i would get these messages on all my social media accounts like "you deserved it" "you were seducing him" "haha hes living a good life and youre cutting yourself looooooooool pathetic!!". my friend group went from a lot of my school (small school but its normal for bahrain) to like ... 4 people in bahrain. one of them was that guy that had a crush on me since we were like 11. he would stand between me n my rapist and went to the principal about it so that i would have lesser proximity and was one of the only people who seemed to empathise w my situation. i felt quite indebted to him n everyone would repeatedly call me an idiot and tell me i should be with him and my mom would say she wishes he could be her son in law or w/e and at one point he started insisting that we are together despite me telling him no we are not & that i dont want to be w him. i gave up on saying no eventually n just went along with all of it. i felt like i was stupid for saying no ??? ppl kept telling me i was n i was like huh i guess i am. never said no again rly, up until the very end where i could no longer ignore it n keep putting myself thru any of that. after leaving that situation i saw how fucked up it was that there were all these obvious signs and me obviously signalling TO HIS FACE that i dont want to be w him, that im not interested in him, that it was further traumatising me n harming my mental health, and also the times where what he was doing would fall under SA....idk i felt stupid for facing one male friend taking advantage of me and then another one doing it soon after right in front of my face n i thought it was somehow different and normal and ok simply bc i wasnt getting downright threatened. but i know if someone else didnt hear my rape story n tell me "uh thats rape and thats fucked up" to begin with i wouldve also probably let that happen again n again too n not thought much about that while getting traumatised until afterwards too.

It was your 57th day of trying to be tsukkishima kei’s friend. Today was the day you finally broke through, the day he finally didn’t be a little shit, the day his long legs, and his cute blonde hai- wait what. You stop in your tracks realizing what you had thought. Tsukkishima- no saltyshima your maybe-friend cute? No. “Snap out of it y/n,” you tell yourself in your head. “We’ve worked so hard to get to this status. I’m not going to ruin our maybe friendship just because I think he’s cute. Wait what do I mean, I can think my friend is cute I just dont have to have romantic feelings for him. Yeah... yeah. That’s what I’ll do,” you think looking constipated on the outside during your little rant, also not noticing the salty dinosaur behind you.

“Rawr,” he whispers in your ear, bending over almost halfway to reach your ear.

“WTF TSUKKI,” you shout taken by suprise, hearing yamaguchis small giggles behind the beanpole. “YAMAGUCHI. I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS,” you say obviously teasing the olive haired teen. As they apologize, rather insincerely in your opinion, you all walk to school together for their volleyball process, tsukkishima in the middle, you and yams on either side of him.

Halfway to school you and yams talking the entire way, tsukkishima quiet as always, yamaguchi asked you a question that took you off guard.

“Hey y/n,” he started off as you stopped to look at him stopping tsukki and him as well. “What do you think about me and tsukki. Like, do you think we’re attractive?” He asks innocently not knowing your maybe feelings for the salty beanpole watching as your face turned as red as a tomato. “Yeah y/n, what DO you think of us?” Tsukki asked with a smirk, obviously knowing how flustered you were. “Uh-um- I-“ you stammer not knowing how to respond without giving yourself away.

“Wait oml is this making you uncomfortable y/n? I’m so sorry I just thought you and tsukki would be cute together since he-“ yams said although he got cut off by tsukki shoving his palm over yamaguchis mouth shutting him up before you could hear what yams wanted to say. “No yams you’re all good I was just a little suprised, that’s all,” you say not wanting to make it a big deal. In your head though you wonder what yamaguchi wanted to say, maybe tsukki liked you? You weren’t sure but decided against pressing it as all three of you continued your walk to school dropping the subject entirely.

While waiting for yams, you and tsukki were chatting (more like arguing) about your friendship status in the corridor. You said that you and him were best friends while he admitted you were friends, nothing more nothing less. But what you couldn’t see was the way the tips of his ears turned red, his way of blushing, as he said you two were nothing more than just friends as you both try to convince yourselves.

Once yams finally arrived he called out to you two, addressing yall as his “favorite couple” effectively making both of you flustered and jumping 6 feet away from each other. As yamaguchi giggles at the sight of you two obviously crushing on each other, you were trying to forget how close your bodies were, or how he looked while smirking down at you thankful everyone else had left. “Yamaguchi, saltyshima cmon let’s go,” you say wanting to end this conversation fast. “Let’s study at my place today ok?”

“I cant study today I have to go work on my serves but tsukki can go,” you heard behind you as yamaguchi pushed tsukkishima towards you. You rolled your eyes at their antics already ahead of the bean pole, pausing slightly for the other two him to catch up. Once you arrived to your house tsukkishima used his long ass legs to get to your door in 2 long strides opening the door for you, knowing how you hated being so much shorter than him. “After you, munchkin,” he said smirking, opening the door for you, knowing how much his nicknames for you pissed him off.

“Alright fine salty dinosaur,” knowing your nicknames for him annoyed him as well, as you walk into his house making your way up to your bedroom. As you enter you both get started on math, helping each other ever so often, and sneaking small glances at each other, never catching the other. Once finally done with all of your schoolwork, being way ahead of tsukkishima because of your lighter workload, you start to doze off accidentally dropping your head in his lap as you napped. Once he notices he carries you over onto your bed, tucking you in and kissing you on the forehead whispering, “you look cute when you sleep. I love you munchkin.” You mumbling “I love you too salty dinosaur” in your sleep not fully conscious but meaning it entirely, as you pull his arm down onto the bed and cuddle him. As he finally gives in he cuddles you back, finishing his schoolwork on the side (bc school is important. Dont do drugs and stay in school kids 😄☝️). Once finished it was around midnight, so he decided to spend the night, his arms around you, his munchkin.

As you woke up you woke up to someone’s arms around you, a feeling of safety and comfort washing over you. As you turn your head to face this mystery person, you realize your ‘dream’ about confessing to tsukki and him kissing you on the head wasn’t a dream, it was reality. As you shake him awake he looks bewildered as if he was the one who was asleep (half asleep technically but we don’t talk ab that) instead of you.

“Hey,” you say not sure what to say after last night. “Hi,” he says equally as awkward, both of you still tangled up in each other.

“So-“ you both say at the same time breaking off to let the other speak first. “You go first,” you tell him, not even sure what you were about to say anyways.

“Alright fine. Iwaswonderingifyouwantedtodateme,” he said with no spaces in between, making it seem like one word you not understanding a word he said. “What?” you asked silently asking him to repeat himself.

“I was wondering if you wanted to date me,” he said more clearly, openly blushing this time, the two of you finally separate.

“Yes,” you respond without hesitation looking at him with fondness in your eyes. He leans in slightly, using his two hands to cup your face whispering, “is this ok? Can I kiss you?” As you nod and smile. He leans in all the way and you two finally kiss and you feel like the happiest person on the planet.

Once you two get situated, and go out the door to meet yams you find yourself holding his hand and him grabbing for yours. As your hands meet, they fit like two puzzle pieces. Perfectly.

“Why are you two holding hands... OMG OMG OMG. YOURE DATING NOW ARENT YOU. WOW OMG OMG FINALLY MY OTP IS DATING WOW AHHH,” yams screams giggling and bouncing up and down all the way, bombarding you with questions although you noticed there wasn’t much suprise in his eyes. You didn’t question it though, he knew about both of your crushes so you thought that it wouldn’t be much of a suprise.

Right before you enter the gym to say bye to the boys, tsukkishima uses the two of your hands that are connected to twirl you around like a princess at a ball, eventually pulling you flush against him, kissing you while dipping you. “Tsukki-“ you squeak out, him interrupting you saying, “kei. It’s kei to you, munchkin,” slightly smirking as he pulls you in for another kiss, you saying “kei” with a smile right before.

I didn’t actually have serving practice. I should probably start out with that. But I just knew stuff was about to go down that night, the night my two best friends finally got together. I called the entire karasuno team as they loved y/n and cared about tsukki. Well at least some of us did. As we spied on the two studying, suga was snapping photos claiming they would be “useful on their wedding day”, daichi looking exasperated with his boyfriends antics. Finally, they fell asleep and on tsukkis lap to say the least and we all heard as he tucked you in, how you two confessed your love for each other, nishinoya and tanaka whisper yelling “yeah y/n, yeah tsukki, get some!!” As them two cuddled and fell asleep suga took some more photos before we all walked to our houses, never to speak of this spying trip ever again. Well, not until the wedding of course ;)

Extended ending LMAOOO:

As tsukkishima walked into the gym, with the whole team seeing the adorable kiss the two shared (including ukai, takeda, kiyoko, and yachi), nishinoya and tanaka jumped on him, bombarding him with questions and whining as to how the beanpole got a s/o before them. Everyone else was shrieking, the two girls talking about how adorable the kiss was, the guys threatening tsukki to take care you you well before the coaches broke it up, congratulated tsukki and started practice.

uhm hello!! i was going through the stop asian hate tag and id like to ask you a question because you seem to know a lot about it!!

for context: my father was british, my mother is filipino and i was born and raised in france

i had an english project to do with my friend and there were many subjects we could talk about such as asian hate in america, i told my classmate "i wonder how i would be treated if i was in america" and he told me that i wouldnt have anything to worry about because i wasnt asian and that philippines isnt in asia which made me really offended

i asked my mum for reassurance if philippines is asian and she said yes

i dont know where to place myself in the situation and im questionning my identity all the time, i dont even have a clear grasp on what ethnicity means :[

do i have a right to be offended because of what my classmate told me? im sorry if this is a dumb question :( im just trying to find myself and id like to be educated on these things

hey!!! to be honest, as a turkish person who constantly feels in between of asia and europe, i really feel for you. i am not much educated myself either, but since you asked my opinion, i do think it was offensive. because i think that even though you may not have the so called publicly 🙄 accepted asian features, you are one and the filipino identity is a part of who you are, and no one, no one other than yourself should determine which race you belong to.

i can only imagine how does it feel to be a biracial individual in diaspora, but i do believe that like i said, you shouldn't categorise yourself as the way other people talk. you know that you are asian, that being filipino means that you belong in asian communities, and i think your classmate saying otherwise was kind of disrespectful if you ask me. i know these topics can be confusing, stressing but i hope you can, and should embrace your asian side in peace and represent it in the most beautiful way possible bc its what u deserve, dont let anyone tell u otherwise or lessen ur identities worth<3<3

second date tomorrow but am on my period :(

I went on a first date recently and it went great :) we never ran out of things to talk about, we laughed a lot, and by the end of it we had some pretty fun sex. I’m not sure what kind of relationship is going to come out of this (if any) but even if it’s just fwb, I’m fine with that because it’s been a long while since I’ve had/been ready to have sex and recently…I’ve “been in heat” is a good way to say it 💀 and it wouldn’t be the worst to take a pit stop with a handsome funny guy along the journey to find love if its just fwb.

The second date is tomorrow and Ive just woke up with my typical “guess what, bitch” spotting signaling the heavy flow is about to start. Which means, it’s probably tomorrow. Probably due to the PMS but I’m so fucking bummed. SUPER. Did I mention it’s been a minute since I’ve had sex? Besides the fact that I REALLY wanted to have sex with him again, I don’t know when to tell him given that he’s probably also expecting to have sex? Would it be almost rude to spring it on him on the date tomorrow? Or should I tell him in advance to maybe reschedule to tonight or after my period? Or would that be super fucking weird because I don’t know what we want from each other yet?

I don’t want to reschedule because we met on a dating app and I feel like the second date is important in really taking someone’s attention from the app. Like “hey! This is going well! No need to keep looking!” Also, I think period sex is too much for someone who you just started seeing - I’d be okay with it if he was but even if he said he was I’d have my doubts if he was just being polite. I know we can just fool around a tiny bit in other ways but…idk. I don’t want to lose steam.

Just feeling so let down. Being a woman is a rip off 🙄 help
