Like. We have seen him angry before (and was a hint for his disguise way back in the Magic Lovers case), but it's mostly Mk exclusive, I guess. I can always vividly see the animation from Blue Birthday (special version) in my head, and him being a reactive brat in Mk in general, it doesn't usually cross my mind just how little Kaito's allowed to express himself within DC. Even when he gripes, it's more sulky. Mk Kai at least throws actual glares and not just side eyes and sighs.

To Conan, Kid being able to get angry is. Will he still only be angry in private, for audience only, or will characters in universe go 'uh oh somethings different with him', because that's just fun to think about.

I'd love to talk about some neato things I got to draw in the comic! Spoiler warning for some contents below! If you haven't read anything yet, come back after reading the comic!

Let's start off with the cover thumbnails! I was more inclined to do A since it wouldn't spoil the big surprise Orbot and Cubot had in store! Otherwise I probably would've gone with B or D! It has that bombastic party sort of feel that I think would've been super fitting!

Here, Eggman is temporarily staying at one of his many bases throughout the world after the collapse of his Eggperial city! This base is inspired by Industria from Future Boy Conan and a bit of Eggmanland!

He also sure loves his chicken and fries!

A little beachside balcony in Green hill! I felt like we generally don't get structures there as much so I thought it'd be a nice addition!

The design on the floor is the stage from the JP Sonic X intro! It gets covered up by snow after but still neat to include!

Look at this magnificent cast of characters! I wanted to use the poses that each pair had when they were first seen together! I'd considered giving Big his winning animation pose from SA1 but alas no space haha!

Cubot's taped on eye brow gag was one I suggested and it's a reference to the same gag from FLCL!

Lil sonic team logo Iasmin asked for! Sonic sure knows to appreciate himself! Good on him.

And here's a sonic 3 wreath and the SA2 lock on reticle from the mechs!

Amy and cream's spread of delicious looking food beautifully rendered by the coloring god Reggie! I wanted to include all their items from the Official Sonic the Hedgehog Cookbook! So if you want to make them yourself, YOU CAN! (except for uhh the experiment on another panel. you guys can figure out what's in that yourselves haha)

Also made sure to list all the pages you can find the recipes!

I drew the comic with some influence from Sonic X because of that. I think the most telling detail fans might notice is the constant 3 spines for Sonic.

You sat on your couch with your notebook in your lap, on FaceTime with Luke.

"And then Jack slipped and I just could not keep it together." Luke chuckled at the memory.

You admired him through the phone. "You have nice eyes."

Luke looked at you softly, a pink hue slowly appearing on his face.

"What are you gonna write a song about them?" Luke joked but you could really tell he appreciated the compliment.

"Maybe." You smiled. "No yeah I am."

Luke's eyes widened at your confession.

"Have you already recorded it?" Luke asked.

"No, I record it next week." You answered.

Luke made a realization. "Wait... I come home next week. Are you... I don't know waiting for me to get back?"

You chuckled at his awkwardness. "I might be. And I still have to fix some of it. I only have the demo."

"Your job is like so cool. I suck at singing." Luke comments.

You chuckled. "Well you're amazing at talking so maybe one day you could be featured in one of my songs."

Luke looked at you in suprise. "Me in one of your songs? That would freak everyone out!"

You shrugged. "I know but I want you on one of the tracks."

Luke looked at you in admiration. "You're dangerous, you know that?"

"I've been told." You laughed.

In all honesty you could stare at Luke forever, more importantly you would probably drown in his eyes then an idea sparked.

"You just had an idea... what is it?" Luke asked.

"I know what to write, gotta go love you!" You rushed to your voice app.

You grabbed your guitar and began writing down lyrics on paper then you started the recording, getting to work.

Several hours later...

You ran your fingers through Luke's hair as he patiently waited for your new song to come out. Since you two have started dating he's practically became your biggest fan(Conan did not take that lightly).

He refreshed his phone multiple times and checking the time every five seconds. You could see his eyes beam with joy as he realized it was midnight.

You awaited his reaction as he put his phone to his ear, looking up at you softly. You two stayed like a couple of minutes before the song came to a close.

"What do you think?" You asked, breaking the long silence.

"I- it's amazing." Luke gushed.

"You really think so?" You said softly.

"Of course I do. Your voice is beautiful... I could listen to it for hours if I'm being honest." He admits.

You kissed his forehead. "That's nice to hear."

"How long have you been thinking like this?" He asks.

"About writing a song about you?" He nods his head. "Honestly since the day we met. I always knew I would write a lyric in about your eyes I just never knew I would write a whole song about them."

"Well your songwriting is nice, can you write more songs about me?" Luke looks up at you.

"Oh yeah I definitely will... maybe about your arms next." You teased.

Luke chuckles. "I think you should do my ears- oh or my curls since you love to run through them so much."

You kissed the tip of his nose. "I love you."

Luke kissed you properly on the lips. "I love you too."
