what kind of video games would egg like? and which would he play with dunk?

MINECRAFT!!! 100%!!! Egg’s method of playing Minecraft would be finding badly loaded villages and giving them beautiful renovations. Bridges, new houses, new work buildings. He’d create so many new villagers until he has a bustling, thriving village. He’s also in charge of storage, house building, and managing all the logistic stuff. Egg is building a gorgeous castle for him and Dunk meanwhile Dunk is fighting for his life in a cave. They have a system but a lot of that system stems from Dunk not trusting Egg to not die and lose all of the hard earned stuff that Dunk had grinded for only an hour before. Egg would have a retinue of animals with funny names and he’d find mods to dress the animals up in cute outfits. Rideable dragon mod and it’s named something like “Fluffy”. Not fond of the idea of killing the Ender Dragon, wants the Wither to be the final boss instead.

I think Egg would like Stardew too. Void chicken is his beloved he thinks it’s funny. He’d also steal all of the furniture from Dunk’s house and hide it in the chicken coop or cave when Dunk wasn’t looking (me). Once again he’s on farming, building duty while Dunk is fighting for his life in the mines.

This was not asked but I think Dunk is a soulsborne and soulslike fan. I can see him absolutely demolishing Elden Ring and becoming a Let Me Solo Her type figure of pop culture legend.

literally cannot stop thinking about how intentional it is in pvp civilization that people refer to evbo as "kid" or tell him he is "just a kid". it isn't just a headcanon that he is probably a teenager he IS a teenager. he's impulsive like a teenager, he's naive like a teenager, he doesn't understand romance like a teenager, he's materialistic and looking for anything that will give him comfort or happiness like a teenager because he IS A TEENAGER. he's a kid. he's a kid cursed with immortality, and what do people do with that? abuse it. evbo is a kid in a horrible, violent society, and he knows nothing else, but he still believes, naively, like a kid, that there are people who are better than this society. he tells zam that he and the iron swords don't need to farm him, that it will do them no good. what about his life? what about tabi's? and he forgets where he is. what he is.

in this society, evbo is not a child. in this society, evbo is not the "chosen one". he is a tool. he is an object. what do you do with tools and objects? you use them.

and yet evbo still stands there, a kid. and the adults of this society exploit that. he is just a kid, he doesn't get it. he is just a kid, he doesn't realize how many lives he's saving. he is just a stupid, naive, vulnerable kid with too much love and too much hope in his heart. we can use that.

So, I know I'm a little (very) late to the AvA stuff, but I was rewatching AvM Season 3 for the seven hundredth time and, well, I noticed something and I'm curious to know if it's been discussed before.

AvM Episode 29, Purple's story, specifically, Pink's death.

Her color changes as she dies, or is represented to have died.

It fades to grey.

Now, the question is, can we, or rather should we, use this to infer anything lore-related? Was this just an artistic choice to depict the act of becoming unhealthy/dying, or could this be what actually happens to stick figures that die over a period of time? Are their colors linked to their health?

Let's have a bit of fun with it, and presume that the fading of one's color can happen to a stick figure for health-related reasons, as the scene could imply.

This fading seems to involve loosing the saturation of one's color into grey. Saturation is how vibrant a color is, and the complete lack of saturation is greyscale.

The World-of-Alan reason for Pink's death is that she 'got sick', which is where the health connection of this theory comes from. If she did loose her color as she was dying as the notes depict, that loss of color was likely a result of her failing health rather than any other factors, like age or outside variables. A whole bunch of human body stuff are indicators for good vs poor health, including skin color (jaundice and cyanasis are good examples) so why not a stick's color for them?

What if, when they fully die, they lose all of their original color?

Now, let me propose this…

Who else do we know of who has had their color loose vibrancy?

What if Victim's color has lightened because he's ill?

Hey so y'all know how Garroth asks Aph if she's sure about taking in Levin? Because her duties as a lord might get in the way? Do you ever think about how he was raised? And how maybe he's looking at Levin and seeing another kid who might suffer bc his parent is too busy being important to love him, and he's afraid? Because he knows (or at least REALLY wants to believe) Aphmau wouldn't do it on purpose, but then again, part of him still wants to believe his father didn't either? And the way he IMMEDIATELY volunteers to be in Levin's life, IMMEDIATELY steps up at every occasion, gets Zoey involved, ACTIVELY SAYS THAT HE KNOWS LEVIN WILL BE SOMETHING GREAT SOMEDAY TO OTHER PEOPLE?? He's making DAMN sure that kid has people in his life, and that the kid has somebody who unapologetically is proud and enthusiastic about him. I think he's making sure no kid ever has to grow up anything like he did.

The code fundamentally misunderstood Phil

It saw how protective Phil was. How calculated and careful he was, the precautions he would take, the paranoia he had, how dedicated he was to keeping his eggs alive.

Surely, this meant that Philza would hesitate. That he would see his children, see their faces, and lower his sword. That he would let them wreck havoc because he couldn’t bare to see them die

But no, this is Philza Minecraft. This is the Angel of Death. This is the man who conquered the world. A man who keeps his heart close to his chest but knows who his friends are

A man who would do anything to protect his family and friends

And the code dares, dares, to impersonate his kids. To put on their skin and their faces and smile and wave and put on a grand performance. The code dares to mock him. To gloat. To say “I look like your kids, you wouldn’t dare harm your kids, would you?”

But it’s because the code looks like them that Phil attacks. If it just showed up as the code monster, he’d still attack. But it would be more calculated, more careful. He’d ask why the code was here, what it wanted, he’d wonder what it’s angle was

But it’s impersonating his kids, his kids, and Phil can’t hold himself back. The code signed it’s own death warrant. “This is for impersonating my f-ing son.” Phil couldn’t bare to stand the mockery of his children

It was the worst thing the code could have done. It thought it knew Philza. It thought it was dealing with a paranoid father. But it isn’t. It’s dealing with a father who’s a warrior, an emperor, a protector. And daring to challenge him is the last mistake the code will ever make
