They had already been married under demon law but they did get to throw a second wedding to make it clear Macaque would be the official Jade Empress and also be Wukong’s ONLY partner as he didn’t want any ideas of him taking concubines and such- he has a husband and it was gonna stay that way- tho he did splurge a bit with the second wedding being he tried to make up for some things they weren’t able to do when they’d gotten married before- and he was happy to get to flaunt his relationship as well- Macaque was morsel happy to have Wukong make efforts to make sure he remained his partner in the eyes if everyone

They were happy to renew some old vows though at the start if their new lives as emperors……yknow before uh- it kinda went south a bit

Hi, I'm not someone who usually says anything on social media, but seeing everything that's happening really makes me upset and I can imagine that many are the same or worse, so the least I can do is say YOU MATTER, times are dark but DON'T STOP FIGHTING AND BEING WHO YOU WERE BORN TO BE, QUEER OR NOT, DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT AND YOUR RIGHT TO EXIST.

I really like this idea where Macaque is a celestial primate, directly under the celestial orders, who, for one reason or another (maybe for a peace offer or a trade), ends up married to Wukong.

For a couple of years, he tried to be nice, kind, and as complacent as he could for political motives; after all, he doesn't want to start a war between the all-mighty Monkey King and, the, mostly, unstoppable forces of heaven.

But one day, he just can't handle it anymore, and he explodes. Wukong is really hurt by this; he KNOWS that Macaque is with him only to avoid any conflict and never dares to think otherwise. However, he was hoping that he would at least see him as a friend.

The thing that hurt the most was realizing that the monkey he cares so much about, the one who step by step was becoming such an important part of his life, only thought of him as a job that he HAD to do.
