Guys, sorry for my absence, I was busy serving omelette for King Louis XIII's birthday on Sep 27th, here's the proof 🎉
I guess drawing him being genuinely happy with some comfort food has officially become my coping mechanism sorry not sorry

Dear fellow Louis XIII nerds, guess I did a little historical crime 🧐
Guys sorry, I accidentially confused Godeffroy with the demon of fire and wise versa, they're actually two different characters played by Louis XIII in the same ballet I HAVEN'T SLEPT FOR 48 HOUS BY THE WAY

Omg.. consumed with curiosity to know more about Louis XIII as Godefroy.. this sounds like a deadly costume to wear also, very on theme for French royalty lmaooo (love ur art of it the flames the mask the pose <3)
Ikr and also probably really heavy to dance in :"0 But I think 17th century people generally were like "this is fine" with a lot of deadly stuff lmao
Also thank you sm, it makes me so so happyyy 💖

Louis XIII as the demon of fire (a. k. a. one of his most iconic looks), extra imressive for its time! The costume was expected to resemble fire, so it was made from enamel blades to make the costume reflect all the candles in the hall during the king's dance.

noticed a little spelling mistake in the word "summary" when I looked at the picture again (top signs to quit the 4 hour sleep shedule lol)

2023 art summary...
With no proper intro I better say as it is that due to the massive anxiety period in my life my 2023 turned out practically non-existent...
You know I have a habit of seeing some kind of metaphors in everything and my favorite of the recent ones is the “palace” one (this is only the second time I compare something to a palace, but still), so sometimes I view time as a palace with halls inside and between the halls there are also all sorts of passages/transitions (stairs, corridors, etc.)
So for me the transition is somewhere in December-January and like "that’s it, let’s move on" but who would have thought... that 2023 would not feel like a hall, but more like just a straight up REDICIOUSLY long CORRIDOR. I hope that such a corridor could only lead to a truly special hall (I’m not hinting at anything but I want it to be 2024) otherwise my nervous system will totally crack up ahaha, I was too anxious and exhausted to even touch any social media for a whole year, which sucked so bad.
As you can see, this also affected the art summary. But I kind of started to feel much better recently, so stay in tune for a bunch of new updates and my weird rants ✌

By the way, we had a trade with my best friend - @demoniccherries!
I really love your part, it turned out so flawless I just can't 💔 I also love the way you managed to make a piece wich ngl PERFECTLY reflects both the character and the vibe of my story... And I literally sent you a very crappy reference just HOW??
I look at this and it takes me back to 2018 when she came to my mind along with my old victorian story ahh, thank you sm 🤧😭

Ufff this one drawing is so ridiculously personal It makes me laugh, but sooner or later I had to post it anyway""
Sounds banal, but sometimes I just get so upsat by the fact that instead of trying to reach out for younger generations or understand in more depth why certain things happen to them, why they think what they think and instead of learning how to be friends, for some reason it’s easier for adults to simply forbid everything and coldly distant themselves from anything out of their comfort zone.
Therefore, all that I could do that december was to simply let out my inner misunderstood genius and as a result I drew these edgy nihilistic punks a.k.a. Modern AU! Hamlet and Alyosha from "Black Hen or Living Underground" a.k.a. two of my personalities who will forever rule my Ne-Te loop… By the way, they are also, in fact, two children who were ignored by the adults, yeah. Especially considering that both books' plot ended in disaster, wich is a good reason to think about it hahahahaha 💀
