On a very real note qTubbo is fundamentally different from other Tubbo rp characters by virtue of not having A Tommy because unlike his counterparts qTubbo is a sort of fresh slate rather than coming with a preloaded Most Important Relationship if that makes sense. qTubbos bonds are more or less all bonds we see him from onscreen (with some exceptions) as opposed to other Tubbo characters having Their Tommy be a huge part of their life even before the actual roleplay takes place

by the power of modern day AU, I am delighted to announce that Fulj can have a girlfriend ! I haven't named her yet but have a few in mind so ... soon (TM). She is the one that she loved in canon before the whole memory wipe and as you can see, penchant for black, black hair, brown eyes, and prone to weird statements. Perfect balance to Deacon's weird questions.

HOWEVER ! I mentioned the problem of Deacon still having facial blindness to someone and how there is no glow from the deities for him to identify them. And her solution is the funniest thing ever so I have to do it. He identifies people by smell. So when he is in the same room as Ymber and Oh when they first cross paths, he doesn't really think about it. But later when he sees Ymber alone and gets the same kinda scent, same cologne or something, he knows that's not the taller guy therefore that's his scent ! Perfect!

So... unfortunately.... Deacon really can't beat the weirdness allegations in AUs...... he's stuck like that. Fulj has referred to him as a guard dog in canon and now he's a tracking dog. RIP to him.

(and because Deacon gets my facial blindness I am giving Fulj's girlfriend ANOTHER trait of mine I wouldn't wish on anyone because it's also really funny. She can't smell. She can taste ! She just can't smell. So she loves talking to Deacon because he explains smells as foods for her to get the vibe across. Which are REALLY weird conversations no one else wants to hear.)

when you remember that time Ash said dean and sam have died many times before and the angels just resurrected them and wiped their memories.......................................like not only is that so !!!!!!!! they have literally DIED multiple times and have zero memory of it, but also. it begs the question......what else have they erased ?? this is how deancas were fucking / together the whole time still wins !!!

working on my ocs' physical appearances a bit, starting with nix!!

i decided because he has a big ass scar over one of his eyes, i thought it would be interesting if there was a slight eye color difference? probably not realistic but i think it looks cool and adds an extra difference between his past and present selves (something ive been needing to iron out bc like. his whole story revolves around losing his memory and one of the people he meets he. used to know. and so i have to figure out how to make it make sense for her to not really... remember what he looked like and just. recognize him immediately, defeating the purpose of the story)

also gave him a mole under the same eye he now has a scar on bc whenever i made him in tomodachi life, i obv couldnt give him a scar, so a mole was the next best thing. now i think its kinda interesting to be on a past design, and another aspect that could make him less recognizable. one distinctive attribute traded out for another

sora does come back from quadratum a little different but the biggest change is that he loses the mindset that self-sacrifice is a necessary requirement to achieve a better future for everyone. anytime there's a mission or a problem, it's either we go together or we don't go at all. he becomes adamant on that, you cannot change his mind.

More Ashura manipulations that absolutely incense me: he manipulated Fai here, too. In this memory that Fai remembers fondly as someone doing him a kindness. It’s anything but. 

Fai wanted one thing, and Ashura twisted it into something else that suited him. By telling Fai that the rock was a guardian of Seresu and IMMEDIATELY naming him after it is already positioning him to defend Seresu from him. And he knows it’ll work because Fai is desperately alone and has nothing - his world has rejected him, his brother is dead, and he’s erased his own name from the world. The fact that Ashura USES these facts to his advantage is just SO WILD. He THRUSTS another name on Fai the second he can, already lining Fai up to do what Ashura wants, rather than letting him chose something for himself. 

And it’s a nice memory for Fai, in the moment, thinking he’s being given all these things he doesn’t have; a name, a world, a family, and the ability to protect. Protecting was all he ever wanted in his whole life and was never able to do - later in his memories he laments that he can’t heal, because THAT’S what he wants his nature to be, and yet his magic is destructive.

Ashura takes Fai’s deep seated need to protect others and uses it to ensure that Fai will have to kill him one day.

He doesn’t seem to consider or care that this will destroy Fai emotionally beyond repair. He just wants one thing, and played Fai from the start to ensure it happened. 

Ashura is just Evil Wolverine who smiles. He strings you along with obligation instead of laying a curse and deleting it from your memory. 

The saving grace of Ashura broadcasting these memories is that Kurogane sees the manipulation for what it is too, and on seeing it he immediately tries to save Fai from his abuser.

i found some older writing and the prose is good but i need to get a handle on the characterization orz. who is this man.... what do i have to say about him....

I love expanding Conjunx Endura and Amica terms to include others nuisances amd also the fact they established that Conjunxing can be poly! You can have a triad with all three Conjunxing, a mech Conjunxing two separate people etcetera.

Also the fact Conjunxing is supposed to be incredibly rare, it's just the Lost Light was basically the Love Boat and already had Conjunx Georg on there with Chromedome.

Caminus's relationship with Amica and the fact they form intelrocking groups called sororities is fascinating to me (and probably why everyone assumed everyone on Caminus was a female Transformer for ages).

One of my friends is designing a whole list of other kinds of Endura relationships covering all sorts of relationships. I also think considering Endura relationships are called "elective kinship" that means Cybertronian's should get to formally recognize someone as their weird uncle or their cousin they only see at barbeques or there wifes platonic life partner they will never be rid of. Which yes is a narrow list but examples!

That's cool as hell! Chromedome was contagious and spreading the love bug lol

Caminus' culture with Amicas and Sororities is intriguing, especially with the concept of otherwise being considered societally "uncool" if you didn't have one by a certain age

There is so much possible variety, and part of me is silently hoping we get to see these terms used in another canonical continuity no matter how slim that hope is

About that tag in the commentary...I definitely agree with you there. Like sure MAYBE (a very big maybe) Frieza and Zarbon do have a chummy moment in good days. But people forget at the end of the day, it's all conditional, especially in Frieza's hands. Idk Zarbon's possible prince status could have leverage that, but he's no bestie to Frieza.

honestly you took the words out of my mouth, that's basically how i see their relationship.

everyone seems pretty scared working under Frieza, and rightfully so, and i can honestly see Zarbon feeling the same way, atleast when he's the one having to watch after Vegeta after beating him unconscious. like, him being higher up in Frieza's force only gets him so much i think.

i think you can really feel Zarbons panic after Vegeta escapes, and i feel like it even clouds his mind when battling Vegeta for the last time, because if he doesn't do something about, then Zarbon's on the chopping block... though i definitely have a feeling that even if Zarbon had succeeded in taking care of Vegeta, that things still wouldn't end well for my man.

that said. i kinda wish there was more lore for Zarbon, since the only extra lore we get from him are games and spinoff movies, and it's hard to really know what's true to the actual series, given some movies don't fit anywhere in Dragon Ball's timeline.
