It is sitting finished in my docs and it IS getting posted, so no worries for those who read it! I still love it and always will. I just... feel I need to brush out the cobwebs and work on something that has fewer bittersweet memories attached.

Now that I think about it, is there any proof that Luke even knows about the "Jedi can't marry or have kids" rule?

Obi-Wan and Yoda obviously never brought it up cause it would require telling Luke why he's the son of a Jedi then. Ahsoka doesn't talk about Anakin when she can avoid it. Ezra definitely doesn't know cause Kanan didn't give a fuck about it. And there's a good chance that it's one of those things that is so obvious it's rarely outright mentioned, so even investigating old Jedi teachings and holocrons might not provide an answer.

This isn't a discussion about that part of the Order, by the way, I just think it would be really funny if the entire second generation of Jedi grows up completely unaware that this big, integral part of the Order existed because of a series of coincidences.
