Every single member of the Batfamily lies about their taste in music
Damian will claim that he only listens to classical music and that everything else is beneath him.
Damian will unironically listen to trashy Arab pop and the absolute worst Bollywood songs known to man (Dick introduced him to them and he hates the fact that sometimes he gets Sheila Ki Jawani stuck in his head during missions)
Tim will put on the most ear grating hyper pop you've ever heard and claim with full chest that these is the peak of humanities capabilities with music (Damian, Jason and Steph have all tried to kill him for this take) He will also play stuff like the living tombstones and sing it obnoxiously loud when he's working on the computer.
Tim however loves his 90s grunge and it's all that's playing in his headphones. (think nirvana, pearl Jam, Melvins, Alice in Chains etc) He has tracked down so many shirts and concert posters and watched every bit of content from the older shows.
Jason will claim he only listens to east coast rap, biggie, Nas, Jay etc and maybe some older metal. He will fight you on east vs west coast music, there will be weaponry involved.
Jason likes rap music... he unfortunately prefers west coast rap and has listened to no vaseline like 500 times. He will deny this till the day he dies...again. (Dick knows and threatens to tell Steph)
Steph will steal the aux and play Taylor Swifts greatest hits until one of the Boys threatens mutiny. Every single one of the bats has had style stuck in their heads during a stakeout at least twice. She will claim that the only rap song she can tolerate in Eminem and the 7/11 is Beyoncés best song.
Steph is an underground fan, think the dude selling mixtapes on the subway type shit. She also unlike Jason genuinely loves East Coast Rap music more than anything and knows every single wu-tang clan song by heart, same with Biggie. Not only does she love the music she also spends any free time binging those "history of rap and its consequences" videos and has been a firm believer that P.Diddy had a hand in a lot of the Death row records well...deaths.
Cass, well everyone thinks Cass has really good taste bc its Cass and she has zero flaws (don't @ me) she never takes the aux and will usually listen to her music while she's chilling or doing stretches. None of them have heard or seen a single one of her playlists except Duke.
its all 2010s top 40s pop music and like the trashy kind too, Beauty and the Beat, Kesha, Katy Perry. It's her turning of her brain time and she will be straight vibing to Rude! by magic or Boom Clap or Shower. she has shown this to Duke, smirked and told him that even if he tried to tell anyone they wouldn't believe him.
Duke is the only one who doesn't... lie. He just hides a few things. Lies of omission don't count as lies when the bats will lie to you about what they had for breakfast, while they are visibly eating breakfast. Duke says he listens to everything and he does. Literally everything. His patrol Jam is offensive bc it with start with Norwegian death metal and immediately switches to "like a G6" followed by kendrick Lamar and then descendants Disney channel movie music.
Bruce... Bruce is just weird, everyone asks him and gets a different answer. Bc he doesn't... like music. Like at all. It's all noise, his mother played instruments so he learned like 14 and he hates how they all sound. He just like vague batwings fluttering in dead silence.
Dick Grayson will obnoxiously play top 40 and radio music religiously around the bats. He claims it's the best music for rhythmic acrobatics and trapeze work and that true! Jason hates this kind of music the most, it's formulaic and holds no substance and drives him insane.
But Dick only listens to that music when he's moving, flipping doing high energy stuff. When he just wants to chill? This man has the most depressing music taste you've ever seen. You know that sad song from ur favorite artist that you can't listen to without crying. Yeah that's his bread and butter. Every single song is just flat out tear inducing, some of these bands have like 100 listeners and he is one of them and it's just their saddest song that reads like suicide note. The titans have conducted an intervention bc its just... concerning. He just thinks it's neat!

my least favorite "we covered this song but changed the words to make it not gay" example is the cleverlys' version of "i kissed a girl" by katy perry. which i think was actually MORE egregious because they didn't actually change the words, but every single time they got to the line with the words "my boyfriend" the whole thing ground to a halt as every single person on stage stopped playing and singing to look around in exaggerated confusion like huHHH? what? bOyFrIeNd???? but we're all dudes o_O and it was straight up the most aggravating thing I'd ever seen. In my defense it was a free concert and I'd never heard of them before but Oh My God

Top 10 Personal Favorite Hit Songs from 2019
Tumblr media
The last list, for now. It’s been a wild ride.
Not the best of these lists, but some really refreshing stuff charted that year, and what was good was super good. And also, here’s a barely elligible #1 that nobody seemed to care about for some reason.
Disclaimers:
Keep in mind I’m using both the year-end top 100 lists from the US and from France while making these top 10 things. There’s songs in English that charted in my country way higher than they did in their home countries, or even earlier or later, so that might get surprising at times.
Of course there will be stuff in French. We suck. I know. It’s my list. Deal with it.
My musical tastes have always been terrible and I’m not a critic, just a listener and an idiot.
I have sound to color synesthesia which justifies nothing but might explain why I have trouble describing some songs in other terms than visual ones.
In 2019, my finger was fixed, I dropkicked depression in the garbage bin (with a little help from Eurovision because it was super good and full of hilarious shit), got married, and went on a roadtrip on Vancouver Island (BC, Canada), and that was my first real travel in 13 years. Met a lot of great people, seen amazing places, trees, bears and whales. And planes are also part of the adventure when you’re not used to them (you can watch movies on little screens from your seat now?? I had no idea. I watched so many movies). It was very exciting.
I also saw VNV Nation live in February, for the third time in six years. This time I had enough budget to buy a tshirt. I wasn’t expecting that concert to be even better than the previous two. At that point the new album had only been out for a couple of months and we still knew the lyrics of most of the new songs and Ronan’s face was constantly broadcasting a kind of “...........how” expression (face it guys, we like you. A lot). And they finished with All Of Our Sins and let me tell you, half the club was ready to start a revolution by the time that was over. Super intense.
Ok. 2019 albums! First, let’s talk about some negative things. Coldplay released Everyday Life at the end of the year. It was... uh. It was basically how I stopped loving their new stuff. That’s a very sad conclusion (for now) to this saga. This is exactly what I feared would have happened after Viva La Vida, aka them trying to go back to their earlier sound - except in the meantime we’ve got three fantastic albums with songs full of energy and joy. So I’m not too mad about this, just disappointed.
Tumblr media
Within Temptation released Resist, and it wasn’t very good either, but I appreciated the general aesthetic of it. More SF-themed albums in symphonic metal, please. NF released The Search and while I’m still not a fan there’s a song on it that would have been #1 on this list if it had been elligible, so that’s something. And Carly Rae Jepsen released Dedicated and it was super good so why isn’t she getting new hits. Why. It feels unfair. Oh, and Avantasia made Moonglow and that’s the first time I’ve cared about their stuff in like a decade or so. Ghost In The Moon is super good, check it out.
But the big event of the year music-wise, as far as I’m concerned, was the return of two bands I thought we had lost forever. Of course My Chemical Romance reformed, but they don’t have new music yet, so the main event for this post is the return of Tool with Fear Inoculum. It’s not even their best album, but having a pretty good new Tool album in the year of our lord 2019 wasn’t at all something I was counting on. Of course, the hardcore fans are still as insufferable as ever (insert the “you need a pretty high IQ” copypasta here), but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of it. Come on! Their first album in 13 years! 80 minutes of hypnotic heavy rhythms and weird shit, an album that trolled me when I opened it by playing a music video while I was looking somewhere else (yeah I jumped), and they even managed to land a track for one week on the US hot 100! Again, Tool! On the hot 100! in 2019! Unbelievable. Are we starting to return to the good timeline? I certainly hope so.
Tumblr media
Unelligible songs, now. The Search by NF would have topped this list super easily. Might be one of the songs I listened to the most in 2019, actually. Now That I Found You by Carly Rae Jepsen, again, should have been a hit, and I beg you to watch this music video if you’ve never seen it. The 1975 released the super unexpected People, which was still good, and also Frail State of Mind. And most unexpected of all, three artists I didn’t care about at all teamed up and made absolute gold: I Think I’m OKAY, by Machine Gun Kelly, YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker. That would have been the second slot on this list if it had been elligible. Or maybe the first, even? Not sure. I’m just so happy this kind of angry but uplifting music is starting to become popular again. I just love everything about this song.
Here’s a short list of honorable mentions!
Roi (Bilal Hassani) - I don’t like this song a lot, but I do like it, I’m glad it was our song for the ESC 2019, and Bilal is a very nice and endearing person, and everyone who disrespects him on twitter is free to come fight me in the pit, where I’m still waiting with that tambourine from my 1992 list.
Con Calma (Daddy Yankee, Katy Perry, Snow) - You already know I liked the original Informer a lot, so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t pleased to hear this clone of it on the radio.
Breathin’ (Ariana Grande) - Here’s the usual “if I had better taste this would be higher” honorable mention.
Summer Days (Martin Garrix) - In the absence of any new hit song from Macklemore this will do in a pinch.
Circles (Post Malone) - The fact that everyone seems to adore this and I’m over there saying “it’s ok I guess” probably means I will never love Post Malone nor understand the hype about him, and that’s okay, I can live with that.
High Hopes (Panic! At the Disco) - Still elligible. Still good but too borderline annoying to make the list.
How Do You Sleep (Sam Smith) - This year Sam Smith pulled a Viva La Vida and decided to stop making boring music all of a sudden and I’m LIVING FOR THIS. I certainly hope they continue in that direction.
And now, the list.
10 - La Grenade (Clara Luciani)
US: Not on the list / FR: #55
Tumblr media
The only semi-filler on the list. I still like it a lot. Don’t have anything to say about it, though.
9 - Panini (Lil Nas X)
US: #40 / FR: Not on the list
Tumblr media
Wasn’t too impressed by this at first and it took a while to grow on me, but the chorus is a nice little earworm, and “hey panini, don’t you be a meanie” has a tendency to pop in my head when I read hateful comments on the internet now. And Lil Nas X is just too endearing to be ignored. We’re so lucky to have someone who became famous so quickly and instantly decided to dress like a Jojo character and have the geekiest music videos possible and still be super nice and humble. We don’t deserve this guy.
8 - Dance Monkey (Tones And I)
US: Not on the list / FR: #6
Tumblr media
I’m super glad the US are finally getting on the hype train in 2020 because this is a ton of fun. If the voice was juuuuuust a little less grating this would be even higher. Impossible to get it out of your head and somehow in this case that’s a good thing.
7 - Dancing With a Stranger (Sam Smith & Normani)
US: #14 / FR: Not on the list
Tumblr media
As I said in the honorable mentions, Sam Smith pulled a Viva La Vida and decided to stop making boring music all of a sudden and I couldn’t be happier about that. This song is still a bit too calm for my taste most of the time, but when I’m in the right mood, it’s just fantastic.
Again, I hope Sam Smith continues in that direction, because if you had told me a couple of years ago that I would start to like their stuff one day, I would have laughed out loud.
6 - Bad Guy (Billie Eilish)
US: #4 / FR: #16
Tumblr media
Duh.
I’m not as enthusiastic about When The Party’s Over as a ton of people are, mostly because, well, it’s a slow emotional song with little to no colour in it and by now you’re already aware I tend to have next to zero interest in that kind of songs. Bad Guy, on the other hand, is half hilarious half scary in equal doses, and even if I’m not super fond of the weird outro, it’s still a fantastic, weird as shit song, and I’m really glad Billie Eilish exists. Can’t wait to see where she goes from there.
I’m super glad this song didn’t come out when I was a teenager myself though. Come to think of it, I’m not sure I would have survived if the musical landscape from 16 years ago had been as depressed as it currently is. Thank god music is slowly getting more energetic again in 2020. Let’s stay on that track.
5 - Hey Look Ma I Made It (Panic! At The Disco)
US: #61 / FR: Not on the list
Tumblr media
I follow several music critics on youtube and over the course of 2019, I’ve seen undiluted vitriol and hatred against this song (Spectrum Pulse even made a list of his “worst hit songs” of the decade and put this one at #10! TEN!!). And... I don’t really get where it’s coming from? Maybe I’m too literal-minded to see what the problem is with a sarcastic song saying “look I sold out and now I found success again! And it’s not that great!”. I just think it’s a lot of fun. Thank god Todd put it on his best list, at least we can agree on one thing for once.
It is hilarious that after putting so many Fall Out Boy songs on my lists, the one that I love the most from Panic! is the sellout song. Not sure why this was huge while the even better Say Amen wasn’t, though.
4 - Sunflower (Swae Lee & Post Malone)
US: #2 / FR: Not on the list
Tumblr media
I usually don’t get the “chill” songs that tend to be successful these days but this one, unlike most Post Malone songs (bar Circles), has lovely pastel colors and a cloudy texture and it’s a really good vibe. It took several months to grow on me but it sure did.
In about ten years, people will listen to Sunflower and be submerged by nostalgia, mark my words.
3 - Old Town Road (Lil Nas X)
US: #1 / FR: #1 (see, everyone agrees for once)
Tumblr media
Everyone on the planet already wrote a thinkpiece about this song and yet I’ve only seen maybe one out of five mentioning, just in passing, that the entire song is based on a Nine Inch Nail track from Ghosts I-IV, superbly re-used to make a weird and insanely catchy country hip hop song out of it. Ghosts has been one of my go-to albums to listen to while I’m painting for about ten years now. I’m saying all this because hearing a track from Ghosts on the radio for months was absolute bliss for me, especially in a new and improved version.
Thank you Lil Nas X for everything you’ve been doing and I wish you a long and successful career. You deserve it. I love this and I love you.
2 - Bury A Friend (Billie Eilish)
US: #73 / FR: Not on the list
Tumblr media
Hello again, Billie Eilish.
This song is absolutely terrifying and that was before I even saw the music video. This is the soundtrack of your nightmares right there. I’m not even sure it deserves to be so high on the list, but frankly I’m too terrified to care. Maybe Old Town Road should be higher. I don’t know.
Also you have to know that when I’m super tired I go into echolalia mode and automatically repeat words or entire sentences that my brain considers interesting, like “potiron” (pumpkin) or “dramatique” ; and recently, my brain decided “when we all fall asleep, where do we go?”, sung exactly like it’s sung in this song, was its new favorite sentence. So. Hearing yourself saying that to an empty room while you’re drawing or folding clothes or cleaning plates is not a very pleasant experience, and it makes this song extra scary to me.
And now, here’s the last #1 of the last one of these lists (for now), and I’m glad to announce it closes this series of posts in a super fitting way.
Check this out. It’s so perfect in every way.
1 - Walk Me Home (Pink)
US: #99 / FR: Not on the list
Tumblr media
Nobody seemed to care about this song over the course of 2019, and it's barely elligible, and I still have no idea why. The music reviewers I follow only either talked about it super briefly when it came out, or not at all. The rare ones who were making top 100s at the end of the year instead of top 10s usually put it somewhere in the middle of their lists. And yet it’s the elligible song I’ve listened to the most.
If you’ve been reading this series of posts for a while now, you probably already know exactly why it’s here, but here’s a quick recap.
The second album I ever bought in my life was Pink’s Missundaztood in 2002, and I loved her music a lot:
Tumblr media
I was still really fond of her stuff in 2007:
Tumblr media
Then she started to become less interesting and I basically ignored her apart from a brief blip on my radar in 2017:
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, in 2012, fun. made some of the best songs of the entire decade before vanishing instantly, and I’ve been mourning them ever since:
Tumblr media
And in the middle of last year, here I am, listening to the radio, and suddenly I hear something that sounds exactly like a fun. song, except I’ve never heard it before and it’s sung by a female singer, and, most importantly, it’s 2019 and fun. broke up more than six years earlier. And I’m like, what’s going on. This is so good. What the hell. What is this.
And I hear it a second time weeks later, and I google it, and I discovered that 1) it was Pink singing this, which made it my favorite Pink song in literally more than ten years, and 2) it was, indeed, written by one of the guys from fun., among other people who’s influence is less obvious.
I guess the main lesson from 2019, between newcomers making great music based on dead trends, old groups reforming, and this song, is that nothing’s gone forever, and things you used to enjoy can come back at the most unexpected time and in the most unexpected form.
There’s always, always gonna be new music to love, and it’s just a question of time.
Quick note
And with this, these lists are over... for now.
I don’t regret making them even if they were a ton of work, because that was super useful for a lot of different reasons.
They helped me get a better understanding of my own life’s chronology. That may sound stupid but I tend to link events to the music I was listening to at the time, and putting all that music in chronological order helped a lot.
I rediscovered a ton of songs I had completely forgotten about, and a lot of new ones. My playlist is much richer now and I’m happy about that.
I also discovered a few artists I knew nothing about.
It forced me to analyse two depressive episodes in my life and just because everything was now in exact chronological order, it accidentally helped me pinpoint what caused both of them. Better and cheaper than therapy. Impressive.
It made me realise how important some bands and artists had been in my life, and I relistened to some of their catalogue while making these lists. For some it was really obvious (Indochine, Placebo, Mylène Farmer, My Chemical Romance among some others), and for some others (Moby, Linkin Park, Mika in particular), it was a real surprise.
It made me realise that Placebo might have been huge in France but weirdly enough not that huge in the UK nor in the US. It’s especially striking when you look at their wikipedia page in English then in French and realise how detailed the French one is compared to the English one. Can’t believe Sleeping With Ghosts was a n°1 album here and basically nowhere else. That was the band where that discrepency was the most obvious but it wasn’t the only one like that. Really puts stuff in perspective.
It also helped me realise how cyclical popular music is. 1) trends tend to die near the end of every decade and the worst year is usually somewhere between the 8th and the 9th year. 2008 and 2018 tend to confirm this. 2) For the same reason, some new & interesting stuff appears at the beginning of every decade, and reaches its high point of quality between the 2nd and 4th year of the decade. 3) Basically I’m saying we’ve now passed the lowest musical quality in recent memory and 2022-2023 will have some exceptional music.
See you in December 2020. I have no doubt there’s a ton of great music coming up in the near future.

[found at: zelthie]
What were you doing before you got on the computer? I took a long-ass shower after the humid nightmare that was today.
Is there anything you really want right now? I wish I had some pastry to go with my iced coffee. I miss my studying sessions at coffee shops :( and it’s not like I’ll get to have them again once Covid is over, because I’m not even in school anymore. Sigh. Also, a longer weekend. I can hardly believe it’s Sunday again tomorrow, and that after that will be Monday again. I love my work, but I also want to reeeeeeeeest.
What's the best gift you've ever gotten? Probably the front-row concert tickets my dad got me for Paramore. Outside of my parents, I really appreciated the scrapbook Gabie made for me three years ago. It turned out to be the first and only handmade gift she’d ever make for me, so I think of it fondly.
What's a song you think the world needs to listen to? Idk, people have different tastes and so it may not be possible to name a song that would successfully appeal to everybody.
Has there ever been a person you regret ever being friends with? As much as I like to firmly believe that regretting friendships should be avoided as much as possible because those people made me happy at one point, I’ve got nothing nice to say about Marielle.
Do you think you have a good understanding on love? I don’t know anything anymore.
You just discovered a new color! What would you name it? No thanks, please don’t ask me to be creative any time of the day.
What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Cookies and cream, and recently, chocolate chip cookie dough.
What do you want to do on your honeymoon? I have not had one but should I do, I’d love to go somewhere non-beachy for a change.
What's one thing you remember learning in school? Spelling difficult words. English (the language, not literature) was my favorite subject in middle school and I always liked the pop spelling quizzes we had. There are some words I could still remember getting wrong, like ‘rendezvous’ and ‘coup detat’ but I was always excited about learning their correct spellings so that I could start using them on my own time as well.
Are you more of a cat or dog person? Dog for sure.
How do you want to be remembered by people? [trigger warning] Idk. Whenever I think about...leaving, I always also think about leaving some kind of note instructing whoever’s in charge of stuff to keep things hushed, because I don’t want the whole thing to be a big deal and for it to spread. I don’t really want to be remembered for anything.
Do you like road trips? Yaaaaaaaaas. As long as I’ve got the right playlist that’s also long enough as well as several seasons of Friends, I’d be good to go.
Do you think Medical Marijuana should be legalized? I haven’t read much about it and that topic in general is still widely taboo over here, but I personally have nothing against it.
If you were forced to dye your hair another color, what color would you get? Brown.
Excited for anything? My first paycheck :D :D
What do you think of your parent(s)? They’re doing their best.
Are your grandparents dead? Just one.
What celebrity do you think should have never become famous? Amber Heard and the Paul brothers.
What's your favorite thing to do online? Watch stuff on YouTube. These days I’ve been revisiting wrestling again so I’ve been watching loads of matches and promos I enjoyed throughout my teenage years. I’m scared to dip my toes into today’s content though, because I barely know anyone anymore and there would be a lot of storylines I’d have to get acquainted with; but idk, I might get there someday.
Are you glad George W. Bush is out of office? I didn’t know his presidency all that well because I was way too young when he was still in office. Apparently he’s not very popular.
If you could appear on any TV show, what show would you choose? I’ve always wanted to try out The Amazing Race. I was definitely hooked to that show as a kid.
What does your full name look like without the letters t,a,i,o,e,l,n or s? Rby.
Your mood summed up into one word? Emotionless. I’m literally not feeling anything at the moment, but this is still a lot better than being miserable so I’ll take it.
How often do you talk to other people about the weather? Only when we’re experience extremes, like if it’s painfully, annoyingly hot out or if there’s a bad typhoon. Otherwise I try to find something else to talk about.
Are you doing anything else besides taking this survey right now? Nope, my full attention is on here.
What's a name you wouldn't mind having? At this point, I’ve learned to be okay with my name and don’t feel the need to whine about it anymore.
What's your favorite thing to wear that you own? My mom jeans or denim jacket.
What do you think of Barbie dolls? Boring, mostly. I grew up with boys, so we had more toys marketed for boys and those are what I ended up liking more.
When you were little, did you ever want to go to Disneyland? Not really.
Do you currently have a job? What kind of job do you *want* to have? I do. I’m already in the job/career I had wanted and aimed to be in.
What do you like to do on your free time? Being on YouTube, playing with my dogs, surveys, eating.
What's your relationship with your parents like? With my mom, it’s permanently strained after years of verbal and emotional abuse, but at some point I just learned to live with the trauma – it’s like, we get along these days and we barely get into screaming matches anymore, but at the back of my head I’m still constantly reeling from the hurt she had put me through when I was younger.
My dad and I act like each other’s buddies, but we silently look out for one another. For example he’ll sometimes make a plate of corndogs just for me while I’m at work, and that’s his way of saying “Are you ok? Here, have this. I’m worried about you” without ever having to say it to my face.
Do you own any pets? Yes, I’ve got two dogs.
How many places have you traveled to? Six countries and all over my own country, except Mindanao.
Do you own a cell phone? If so, what kind? iPhone 8.
What are your goals for the future? For things to fall into place, whatever that would bring me.
What's your favorite kind of drink? Just plain old cold water, or coffee.
Did you ever get into the Twilight saga craze? What about the Harry Potter craze? I was (and am, heheh) into Twilight; I wasn’t into Harry Potter.
Where is your mind at: The Past, the Present, the Future, or all around? My mind tends to make space for all three of these.
What's a really good movie you've seen recently? I haven’t seen any films recently but I am planning to watch Ammonite, which I have high hopes and expectations for.
Are you happy where you are right now? Career-wise, yes. As for everything else...could be a little better.
What's the first thing you thought in your head when you woke up today? AHHHHHHH SATURDAY.
If your best friend confessed that they can see the future, you would...? Ask how they were able to get such an ability.
Write a random quote that comes to your head: I’ve been watching Friends all day so the first set of quotes I thought of upon reading this question was, “I just don’t want to face three failed marriages.” “At what point did you think this was a successful marriage?” hahahahaha.
What's your opinion on milk chocolate? Like it, but sometimes can be too sweet.
What about Dark Chocolate? I don’t like dark chocolate bars themselves – too bitter; but I don’t mind it being incorporated in other sweets, like cookies that have dark chocolate bits.
You do know that white chocolate isn't even really chocolate, right? Yes. But it’s my favorite kind.
Do you get annoyed when surveys mention a band you've never heard of? If they mention it excessively or if they name too many unfamiliar bands, then I’m likely to get annoyed, yeah. But I skim through potential surveys anyway, so if I observe that a survey has too many music references I can’t relate to then I just don’t take it.
What's your opinion about Katy Perry's song "I kissed a girl"? Cool song and ahead of its time tbh, but she has so many other better singles.
What's your least favorite pizza topping? Pepperoni, beef, and pineapples.
What would you do if you discovered the US was now drafting for the war? Don’t care.
Are you even living in America, or are you from another country? Bingo for the latter.
What's your favorite social website? Twitter.
Do you believe in heaven? If so, what's it like? If not, why? No. I associate heaven with gods or higher beings, so believing in it would just kill the point of being atheist. I do like to find comfort in some sort of afterlife where I’m not in pain and am reunited with all my loved ones, though. I don’t necessarily believe in it, but it’s just comforting to think about and makes death a lot less scary.
What's your favorite video game? Super Smash Bros. Brawl would probably be my all time favorite. I do plan to get Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Switch, so that might get dethroned soon.
In your opinion, is Bzoink the best place to find fun surveys? Yes.
What's your opinion of high school? It only got fun once I found the right friends. Without them, I’m sure my experience would have been miserable.
Do you prefer the country or city? City.
Texting: Is it fun, evil, boring, or none of the above? It can be all of these things depending on the context of the conversation.
What email service do you use for your main (or only) email account? I’m mainly on Gmail. I have an Outlook account that’s still active, but I’ve been listing it less and less for social media sites.
What's your favorite dumb pick-up line? I don’t do pick-up lines, really. I find the entire concept pretty lame.
What are your plans for the next 48 hours? I got hooked to Friends again, so I’ll probably continue watching for the whole of tomorrow. For Monday, I’ll be at work again.
Did you ever read "Captain Underpants" when you were little? Yes. I lovedddd those books, but I always had to read them in secret (my cousin owned the books and I just asked to borrow) because my mom disapproved of them. My favorites were the Flip-O-Rama sections.
What's better: The old Cartoon Network, or the new one? Or do you not care? I’m not aware of the new version, so that leaves me with one choice. Generally, though, Cartoon Network was my least favorite channel out of the big 3 of kids’ channels.
Disney Channel shows are all pretty cheesy, aren't they? The ones they air today are, but maybe I’m just saying that because I’m already outside of their target demographic.
What's your opinion on the Jonas Brothers? I can’t think of a reason to dislike them. They’ve always been likeable, whether as individuals or as a band.
What are some of your favorite singers/bands? Beyoncé, Paramore, Hozier, alt-J, Coldplay, Against Me!, The Japanese House are the main favorites I like mentioning.
Why do the lead singers in bands always get the most recognition?! Probably because they’re the ones mainly heard. I always recognize all the members in my favorite bands, though.
Did you ever believe in the Tooth Fairy? I did, but when I didn’t receive any money  after placing my tooth under my pillow, my hopes and belief got shattered pretty quickly.
What's your favorite type of weather? Cold, cloudy, and rainy.
What's your opinion on reading books? I think it’s great when people are able to find the time to read books, and lots of them. I wish I didn’t grow out of it.
You're given a chance to act in a Hollywood Blockbuster! Would you accept? Nope.
What it if it was a movie directed by Tim Burton?(He directed Sweeney Todd) He ranks pretty low for me. He’s a great director and I respect his craft, but his filmography is not a personal favorite of mine.
How do you feel about Taco Bell? I wish I can have it more often, but we only have two branches in the Philippines and they are both far away.
Are you hungry right now? I can honestly go for a snack right now :/ Like chicken tenders or pad thai. I’m super tempted to order from Grab since I have more than enough cash on me, but I don’t want to be irresponsible with my money so very early on lol
How often do you go on to Youtube? Everyday, and most of everyday.
It's possible to be addicted to anything... What are you addicted to? Curry.
What's your opinion of Wallgreens? Unfamiliar.
Back when Spongebob Squarepants was famous, were you interested in it? Yes, it was my favorite cartoon.
What's your dream pet? Dogs.
You see a mermaid while relaxing on the beach with friends. What now? Think that it’s probably a social experiment and let them be.
Who's been your favorite teacher growing up, and why? My music teacher always gave amazing life advice alongside her lessons, and she was so graceful and so classy and she simply invited respect everywhere she went. I’ve always wanted to be like her.
When you were little, did you ever like Pokemon? Yes. I watched the anime and collected Pokemon pogs and cards. My cousin had a lot of the video games and I’d watch him play those, while my sister had a couple of Pokemon books that explained each Pokemon.
How often do you get headaches? These days, everyday. Hahaha work is super hectic.
Do you have any songs stuck in your head right now? If so, what? Saw You In A Dream by The Japanese House.

Love on the Star
Over seven billion people in this world and I'm the one whose dreams come true. It couldn't have been someone else who had much more exciting dreams, no it had to be me. The boy who has the most basic dreams ever, get on Broadway, win a Tony, and maybe start a fashion line. Oh wait, I forgot the most basic part, I want to meet Blaine Anderson.
Blaine Anderson is an alternative singer who sings from the soul. He is the lead singer of my favourite band and I am lucky enough to have tickets to one of his concerts. Me and my best friend Rachel Berry will be in the front row of his first concert back in his home state of Ohio. Blaine was named the best singer of our generation and I have to agree with that.
Rachel and I both graduated from high school last spring and decided that we were going to take a semester or two off and go to NYU in the spring. Both of us were going for musical theatre, and we would be living together in an apartment. It was going to be fabulous!
At the moment I am in my room doing my nightly skincare routine since I most likely will not want to do it after the concert and I need to keep my porcelain skin free of blemishes. Rachel and I had the entire night planned out, and it was going to be the best night of my life!
Suddenly I hear the doorbell ring, must be Rachel. I yell to Finn that I'll get it, if he gets it then I will never get Rachel out of the house. You see, Rachel has a huge crush on Finn and has since sixth grade. Finn is my step brother and became it when my dad and his mom got married back when we were juniors in high school. Finn is this big oafy football player who surprisingly sings amazingly but dances like a giraffe learning to walk..
I throw open the door and sure enough there is Rachel in all of her kindergartener glory. She has long brown hair with blunt bangs across her forehead, a nose like a beak, and cheekbones that could cut glass. The only thing that makes her unattractive is her clothing, she dresses like a kindergartener on picture day.
“Hey Rachel,” I say blandly as Rachel throws her arms around me.
“Kurt! So I just got this new sweater just for this occasion and I thought I would ask the expert what he thought of it!” I am in no way an expert, I just love fashion and read vogue more than the average person..
“It totally looks fabulous!” I say in what I hope is a convincing voice, I may hate her fashion taste but I don’t want her to know that.
“So what’s the occasion?” I look behind me to see Finn standing there.
“We’re going to see Blaine Anderson in concert,” I try to explain, “we have VIP tickets and it’s in Columbus so we have to leave now to get there on time.”
“Okay, well have fun then,” Finn exits the room slowly while staring at Rachel, I’ve begun to suspect that he likes her back.
“You ready Rachel?” I say as I turn back to her.
“Absolutely!” We turn toward the door and head out toward my black Navigator.
I climb into the driver’s seat of the car and turn on the engine. Rachel immediately hooks up her phone so that she can start playing Blaine Anderson songs. This was gonna be a long car ride of singing and listening to Rachel’s self-absorbed babble.
We pull up to the concert venue after dinner and checking into the hotel. Once I find a parking spot I climb out of the car excitedly. I am shaking with anticipation as I open the door for Rachel. I grab her hand and run up to the door of the venue. When we get there I hand the attendant our tickets and I release Rachel’s hand in order to go through the metal detectors at the entrance. We get through and find our seats. We are right in front of where Blaine will be.
By the time the warm up bands are over the venue is full. I am kind of feeling claustrophobic and so I sit down, Blaine will be out in around five minutes. The five minutes go by quickly and at this point I am feeling extremely claustrophobic. I have a headache and feel like I may pass out and throw up. Rachel hasn’t noticed this and is instead jumping up and down in anticipation. The lights dim and I see a figure enter the stage through the floor, which has opened up. I stand up immediately and start yelling as well, almost all of the claustrophobic feelings dissipating my body as I see Blaine on stage singing.
At the moment Blaine is backstage getting ready for whatever song is up next. The lights are getting gradually darker as we wait for Blaine, without him onstage I have nothing to focus my attention on. The claustrophobic feelings are coming back and this time they are so much worse. Rachel turns to me and yells, ”Are you okay?” there is no way I’m yelling back so I just nod my head weakly. She seems to take this as an affirmative answer and just goes back to screeching with every other fan in the arena.
Soon I could see a shape on stage, it was short and I could just see the hint of curls on its head. Just from this outline though, I knew exactly who it was. Blaine was back onstage, but this time the feelings of claustrophobia did not dissipate completely.
The opening chords to the next song came on and the lights went completely out. Then they turned back on slightly and suddenly I saw a figure in front of me. The figure had dark hair that appeared to have been gelled but now curls were springing out all over the place, he wore an incredibly over the top gold suit, and I knew his name to be Blaine Anderson.
I couldn't breathe, I felt like I could pass out. He seemed to notice this and pulled me into a tight hug while singing the opening lines, once he pulled back he stopped singing and pointed the microphone towards me and said, ”Sing,”
I nearly passed out right then and there.
I sing the next lines much higher than he would have, I have an abnormally high voice for an eighteen year old boy, so when I sing I’m a countertenor, I was the only one in my glee club at McKinley.
When I finish singing he turns the microphone towards himself and starts singing again, pulling me into another hug. This time he starts to venture down the row further, hugging or giving handshakes to everyone who wants one. The claustrophobic feeling is completely gone now thanks to Blaine.
I can just faintly see Blaine as he belts out the last note of the song, at this point he has made his way to a piano. Soon the piano is being lifted up into the air. I am in wonder as he sings on this piano. How could this eighteen year old be singing at a sold out concert on a floating piano? It was just crazy.
I look back up at Blaine and see him staring directly at me as he sings the song. He's singing a cover of Teenage Dream by Katy Perry, I can remember that this was the first song I ever heard him sing, it's also the song that he got famous for singing. It seems like he is singing it to me but I know logically he isn't. He doesn't even know I exist.
The concert is over now, it's time for me to meet the one person that will completely change my life. Me and Rachel are following the security guards who are leading the small group of people with backstage passes. We flash the guards our passes and walk past into the room where Blaine will be. The guards have left to go get him while all of us get into a line. Rachel and I are in the middle of the line, which means that we have at least a half hour to wait. They take each group to hang out with him for ten minutes, and there are only six separate groups.   Finally it’s Rachel and I’s turn to meet him. We walk up to the guards as Blaine says goodbye to the last group, my heart is racing as I see his eyes flick over to mine. His hazel eyes widen as they land on my glasz ones. I feel my heart flutter as Blaine grabs my hand and shakes it.
“My name is Kurt,” I whisper in a barely audible voice.
“Blaine. Obviously,” I can’t believe that I’m actually talking to Blaine Anderson, I feel weightless. Then Rachel ruins the moment with her loud mouth.
“My name is Rachel Barbra Berry! I am like your biggest fan. Well except maybe Kurt here, he's been listening to you since you sang Teenage Dream on your Myspace page!” Rachel continues to ramble on as I glare at her. Blaine is now paying attention to her, and I hadn’t realized that we were walking to another room until now. Finally, Rachel stops rambling. Blaine turns to me and asks how I am, this starts a conversation that lasts the full ten minutes with Rachel butting in every time she feels necessary, which is every ten seconds.
Finally our ten minutes are up and we have to leave. As we are gathering our stuff to leave Blaine yells something out.
“Wait! You guys didn’t get anything signed!” that’s when I realize that we didn’t, so I grab out the picture I wanted signed as Rachel grabs her’s. We both give him the pictures and he signs them. I don’t bother to look at mine as I give him a hug and say goodbye. I grab Rachel’s hand and scurry out of the room.
Once we get out of the venue, we get in our car and drive to the hotel. When we finally get there I look at the picture for the first time. It’s all normal, just a signature, and then I notice something strange. There seems to be a series of numbers underneath the signature. I freak out when I realize that it must be a phone number. I decide to text it to see whose it is.
Hello, who is this? I type this and then wait for an answer. When I don’t get one within the next hour, I start to think that maybe it’s a prank and so I go ahead and crawl into the bed next to Rachel, who is sound asleep. I am half asleep by the time I feel my phone vibrate, I grab it immediately and see a text back from the number.
This is Blaine. Is this Kurt? I drop my phone out of surprise. This can’t be Blaine Anderson, there is absolutely no way. I decide to text back to find out.
It’s been three months since I met Blaine and my life changed for good. Now he’s off tour and we are best friends, I told Rachel about Blaine and to say she freaked out would be an understatement.
After talking for two months we decided to take our relationship to the next level and we started dating after I accidentally told him that I had a crush on him during one of our phone calls and he said that he liked me back. It’s been a month now and Rachel is the only person who knows.
Blaine is finally coming to Ohio to visit his family when our worlds flip upside down and inside out. We’re celebrating our one year anniversary and going to our favourite restaurant, Breadstix. We hadn’t expected there to be paparazzi since it was late at night, but we obviously underestimated them because the next day there were pictures of us doing stuff from walking hand in hand down the sidewalk, pecking each other on the lips throughout dinner, and just sitting with each other sent to Blaine.
I find out about the pictures when Blaine calls me up crying and having a panic attack. I immediately rush over to his house, it’s strange to see him crying and panicking when he is usually always smiling and happy. This pictures obviously have distraught him quite a lot. When I get to his parent’s house, I knock on the door. His older brother Cooper opens the door and ushers me up to Blaine’s room. I’ve met Cooper once, when Blaine and I met for the second time in person, It was the first time since the concert.
When I get to Blaine’s room I knock on the door and announce my presence to him. He throws open the door and runs into my arms as I wrap them around him. His cheeks are tear streaked, and his usually hazel eyes are bloodshot. His usual gel helmet of hair is a curly and matted mess from sleep.
I feel him mumble against my chest and I pull back to hear what he is saying. He repeats the same phrase over and over with tears streaming down his cheeks. He’s choking on his words, and it hurts my heart to hear what he’s saying.
“My life is over, I’ve ruined everything.” That’s all he says as the tears drip onto my shirt. His hands navigate towards my waist as he bawls, I’m holding him tightly and rubbing his back. “Have they posted the pictures?” I whisper softly. He shakes his head and croaks out.
“No, but they said they would if I didn’t tell the world before Thursday.” The problem with all of this is that Blaine isn’t out of the closet yet and would like to keep that on his own terms, but at this point he’s just going to have to tell everyone.
“Blaine I think that you should tell everyone.” I whisper this softly, barely audible yet Blaine hears it.
“I think I will.”
Soon, Blaine and I are sitting on his bed., he has dried his tears, and is typing out a tweet to tell the world everything:
‘Hey guys, I have something that I need to confess. I have been keeping this a secret for years and quite a few of you have guessed. I’m gay, and I have an amazing boyfriend. His name is Kurt Hummel and I love him. If you don’t approve then go ahead and stop listening to my music. Thank you.’
I look over at Blaine and see fresh tears running down his face, I wipe them away as he presses the post button. Blaine throws his phone across the room as he starts sobbing again. The phone hits the wall with a crash and I’m honestly fearful that he broke the screen. I hear the phone vibrate with notifications as the tears fall from his eyes down to the soft sheets on his bed. I’m not sure if I should leave his phone or grab it, I’m not sure if I want to know how the world is reacting to the news. I finally decide to take the risky route and get up off of the bed, I cross the room and with shaky hands I grab the phone. I don’t look at what the replies say as I cross the room again and drop onto the bed next to Blaine. Without looking at the replies, I unlock his phone and open the ‘Twitter’ app. I open the tweet and start to scroll down to see the replies, my finger lands on the first one and I almost start crying along with Blaine.
‘I’m so happy for you. Everyone deserves to have joy in their life and it seems that you have found that joy. No one should be angry about you finding the one person who makes you truly happy, not even if that person happens to be a male. I hope that you are both very happy and that you know that you will always have at least one fan.’
A tear finds its way down my cheek as I turn the phone towards Blaine, he grabs the phone and reads the reply. He looks up at me and smiles through the tears, I lean forward and press my lips against his in assurance that everything’s going to be fine. It is going to be fine.
A year goes by and we are living our life on the high side. I moved in with Blaine about a month ago and life couldn’t be better. Rachel and Finn got together three months ago and now live right next door in the apartment on our left. It truly is a dream come true.
At the moment Blaine and I are sitting in a recording studio composing a tweet to tell the world about the fact that we will be starting a duo career. Blaine and I talked about it for a while and finally decided that it would be fun, we are dropping our first album in May and I couldn’t be more excited.
Finally everything in my life is perfect. Finally I get to live my life fulfilling my dreams instead of feeling like I’m fulfilling someone else’s. Finally I get to live my life the way I want to and I get to live it with the one person who matters most to me. That person just happens to be Blaine Anderson, and I couldn’t be happier about that fact. No matter how much disapproval we get from the public I know that I will always have Blaine. I know that the disapproval is inevitable as well because I found love on the star side.

In what form of communication did you last use to talk to the person you're currently interested in? There was a text message a little while ago, and there will be a phone conversation in 3 hours.
If you were to leave the house right now, would you change your outfit all? Just put on shoes. I was already out and about today so I’m looking acceptable.
When was the last time something really cute happened to you? When I asked the cashier at the German grocery, right after I’d swiped my card to buy a couple things, when they were going to get their Christmas candy and they said they had it, they just haven’t put it out, and then asked “want anything?” So I got my brandy beans three weeks later than usual but at least one day before anyone else. :)
Why aren't you texting the last person you kissed? She’s driving right now! I replied to a text from her half an hour ago!
Has anything happened to you within the past month that's made you really happy? A few days ago I got back from a coastal weekend vacation.
Do you want to see someone right now? I could dig seeing my girlfriend and had plans worked out (he had a medical issue crop up) I would have been with my best friend up until about 4 hours ago.
Did a boy or girl text message you last? Girl, my friend Kimber had mushroom photos to send me.
When was the last time something bothered you? Yesterday. You would not believe some people I work with.
What was the last thing you looked up on Youtube? I hadn’t watched Technology Connections in awhile so tuned in to see why two-prong plugs have holes in the blades. (It’s helpful in the manufacturing process, there’s no other reason! Totally optional. But the spec says that if you do put the holes in, they have to be THIS big and at THIS location.)
Have you held hands with anyone in the past 24 hours? Wednesday, and today is Friday, so more like 52 hours.
Did the last guy/girl you kissed have any piercings? She does not.
What exactly did you drink the last time you were intoxicated? Probably cider. Last drink (five days ago) was a porter and I don’t think I was too stewed.
Do you actually love your parents? Deep down. Not externally.
Have you ever had a school picture turn out absolutely dreadful? OMG, sixth grade. The class picture, my mouth is open. The individual picture, I was rolling my eyes. My mother was NOT HAPPY.
Are you more prone to being the social butterfly, or the wallflower? I like to sit back and watch, but when I connect with someone I talk a lot.
Would you rather go to a Katy Perry or Taylor Swift concert? Both seem equally lame to me. Probably wouldn’t care to go even if I got the ticket for free. << yess!
Have you ever thrown up from working out? Nope, had a small stroke instead. (This was 2002.)
What pattern do the sheets on your bed have? Solid grey.
Are your days full and fast-paced? I work in a hardware store so that’s a resounding Yes.
What languages can you count to ten or higher in? English and French and probably Spanish.
Where did you get the underwear you are wearing right now? Costco.
Are you good with painting nails with your left hand? I can’t say this is something I’ve done more than twice.
Do you feel uncomfortable sharing drinks with other people? Depends upon who the other people are, but let’s go was “let’s not” for people who I am not sleeping with.
Have you gone through a lot emotionally, or has life been easy thus far? I’ve had my ups and downs.
Have either of your grandparents ever told you a sexual joke? Paternal: never. Maternal: They both passed when I was 17 so we weren’t quite to that point yet, but I am sure there were a few sly statements from my grandfather.
Do you spend more time outside or inside? Inside.
Would you rather give up the computer or the TV? TV, which I barely ever watch.
Do you own any fake designer purses? I don’t own any purses at all. Straight male here.
Who was the last person you were with that smelled REALLY good? I suppose it was a customer or coworker, I don’t pay attention to good smells on people... it’s the bad ones that I remember. One guy smells like piss all the time. Someone said it’s because his mother breeds dogs but it smells human to me and Every Damn Day while I presume laundry gets done regularly??
Do you think braces are sexy? A perfect smile does improve one’s face-value, yes.
What were you for halloween in first grade? Fuck if I know. It involved a Ben Cooper costume (a plastic mask with a smock telling what you were supposed to be), that much I am positive of.
Last person to make you seriously mad? I rarely get “seriously mad” but I’m guessing it involved a coworker whose job is to stock shelves but constantly puts shit in places where it doesn’t belong.
Don't you hate when people have cell phones but never answer them? There’s no one in my world who does that. An ex says her sister is like that -- betting half the time it’s because she’s a nurse and is busy, and the other half of the time it’s because she’s a twit. I say that because she will then reach out to you asking why you never call when she doesn’t fucking answer her phone when you do call.
Who have you recently made up with after fighting? I’m a lover, not a fighter.
What kind of toothpaste do you use? Some kind of Crest is on my dresser.
Last thing you bought at the grocery store? Weinbrand Bohnen, Edle Tropfen klassische, und rum kugeln. :-D
What were you doing this morning at 1am? Probably sitting here on the computer.
Funniest name you have ever heard? She’s a manager at a Burger King, and I can’t remember now what adjective her name (spelled differently) is, but it was ridiculous. No, her name was kinda like “Ridiculous” but some other word you wouldn’t think to name a person.
What could someone do to irritate you? In some cases: merely exist.
Have you used a tissue today? I reheated some fish fillets so yes, several tissues to get the grease off.
The last person that slept in your bed gets arrested, what do you do? Ask her which coworker she had to forcibly put down for society’s good.
What color hair does your mom have? Grey. It’s been like that for the vast majority of my life, i was aware even in the single digits she dyed it medium brown regularly, but now she’s given that charade up since, you know, she’s 84 years old and it’d look ridiculous to still have brown hair at that age. But we all know people who hang on tight to their makeup regimens long after their faces have changed dramatically.
When people ask "how are you?" do you say "good" even if you aren't? I developed a habit when I worked at a call center: I say “Great!” and move on quickly to whatever reason anyone would talk to me. I’m not saying I’m great, I’m giving an ersatz answer to a pointless question. In a related thing, my girlfriend gets miffed at me that I don’t say “bless you” when she sneezes. First, I have NEVER felt compelled to say that when someone sneezes, it’s a superstition from the Black Plague. Second, neither of us have a religion so why exactly would either of us request a blessing and from whom?
Honestly, did you really love the last person you said I love you to? Sure do!
When was the last time you were told you were cute? My girlfriend thinks so, and I can’t correct her.
How was your Friday? Laid in bed until 8:30, was on the computer until 10:45, cleaned up and went out thrifting, didn’t spend any money, came home and got back on the computer, a couple packages arrived so I am pleased, and it’s 8:43pm so the day’s not done yet but I expect some cleaning and more computer time before bed since I have to go to work tomorrow. I doubt I’ll sleep, the 7-11 didn’t have any regular Big Gulp cups so I am still nursing a Double Gulp of Cherry Coke with a good dose of horchatta in it.
When is the last time you were in a swimming pool? Wow, hmm. My suit is in the trunk of my car so it had to have been last year when we were at the AirBnB in Whidbey Island which has a hot tub.
Did you speak to your father today? I’ll see him in just over a week (two Tuesdays from now).
What was the last thing you drank? Cherry Coke with a good dose of horchatta in it.
How did you wake up this morning? Slowly but peacefully with the morning sun.

what are your fav gay songs?
this is one of the most blessed asks i’ve ever received and i have several gay playlists but ill run down some of my all time favs, i made a list of 30 which i’ve cut down as much as possible lmao:
classics:
Your Song by Elton John; beautiful and chill and sweet, the loveliest springtime evening vibes of having loved someone for years and years and feeling warm and at home with them (and i will never forgive any cover artist who makes it straight @ ellie goulding)“Yours are the sweetest eyes I’ve ever seen.”
Poses by Rufus Wainwright; BAROQUE GAY, literally my favourite song, gives me butterflies every time i hear it, comparing fashion with his friends but it’s so much more than that, you can hear him smile and i’m absolutely DYING“Such beautiful poses makes any boy feel like picking up roses”
Freedom! 90′ by George Michael; literally my favourite song, the greatest swell of pride and power i’ve ever felt, the biggest FUCK YOU, fits perfectly with the quote about Georgie M being like “I’ve got a cock” with regards to his music“Now I’m gonna get myself happy.”
Somebody To Love by Queen; especially the cover by George Michael at Freddie Mercury’s memorial concert, because having watched his documentary and hearing about how he performed knowing his lover was dying of AIDs, my heart breaks every time I hear this“I just gotta get outta this prison cell, someday I’m gonna be free”
That’s So Gay by Pansy Division; the biggest FUCK YOU, literally my favourite song, assigning a slur to heteros to give them a fucking taste, iconic and beautiful and such a good fuckin riff“what do you take me for? breeder”
just good gay songs:
Girls Like Girls by Hayley Kiyoko; the first explicitly gay song I ever listened to, beautiful and iconic and it felt so fucking BRAVE“I’ve been crossing all the lines”
I Kissed A Girl by Jill Sobule; sweet and soft and gay and country, nothing to do with katy perry’s harangue, so, so much better“We had a drink, we had a smoke, she took off her overcoat”
Call Your Girlfriend by Robyn; Dancing on my Own is more well known, but Call Your Girlfriend is such a gorgeous bop and this makes it literally my favourite song“Tell her not to get upset second-guessing everything you said and done”
Somebody Else by The 1975; got that sad neon gay aesthetic and UM im not sorry no cover will ever come close, literally my favourite song, slips you into a gorgeous aching trance that takes your breath away and forces tears from your eyes and makes your heart ache“At first, I thought it was a lie. I took all my things that make sounds”
Andy You’re a Star by The Killers; that angry guitar just turns you into a feisty high school boy furious and seething at those filthy sneering straight boys, fuck em, me and andy gonna bang (their heads together)“In a car with a girl, promise me she’s not your world”
Cool for the Summer by Demi Lovato; let me tell you girls in school were shook when they figured out that this was gay and it’s such a heady hot summer B O P also “die for each other” is the gay mood for someone you met 5 minutes ago and already love more than your parents
BITE by Troye Sivan; probably one of the first explicitly sexual gay songs I ever heard and let me just say that little gay 17 year old me was quaking, described as HAUNTING by @aurathelucario and bitch, they’re right“Don’t you wanna see a man up close”
Sanctify by Years & Years; everything that BITE was to me at 17, now at 20, has me physically shook, openly gay and explicitly sexual and such a BOP“I’m just like you, maybe it’s heavenly”
Heterosexuality is a Construct by Onsind; just the ultimate takedown of heterosexuality and everything you’ve ever wanted to yell in your life, also the lines“I’m not a heterosexual man, I’m not ticking your boxes, that’s not who I am, I don’t fit into your neat little plan, and I never willLove is not a crime, and I’d rather colour, outside of the lines, love knows no gender and its about time, you nailed your colours up next to mine.”please listen to this song, if you listen to nothing else from this list
*** ULTIMATE SPECIAL TUNE: ***Talking Transgender Dysphoria Blues by Against Me!; holy fuck, a song about being transgender, by a transwoman? Raw and aching and violent and snarling, the most truthful song I’ve ever heard.“Rough surf on the coast, I wish I could’ve spent the whole day alone with you.”
Under the cut: some songs that aren’t explicitly gay but they are to me, and honourable mentions
not explicitly gay but they are to me and you can’t pry them from my gay little hands:
Dancing in the Dark & I’m On Fire by Bruce Springsteen; I’m a fucking SUCKER for gay country boys in flannel with pick ups and ripped jeans and worn white shirts and big boots, literally my favourite songs, and fuck me the song Dancing in the Dark punches me in the gut and then holds me close to its musty man-smelling shoulder while i cry“Man I’m just tired and bored with myself, hey there baby, could use just a little help”
Constellations by Tom Odell; listen, I’m a hopeless romantic gay and I need this song, literally my favourite song, and you can’t tell me it’s not gay:“Some old melody, it don’t mean much to anyone what it does to you and me”
Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls; heavy connection to Nic Cage, LITERALLY try and tell me this song isn’t gay fuck off, one of those songs you yell out your car windows in a rainstorm, TRY AND TELL ME IT’S NOT GAY AND YOU’LL BE WRONG:“And I don’t want the world to see me, cause I don’t think that they’d understand”
Run To You by Pentatonix; I don’t care if this is gay or not it gets a place because at least half of PTX is LGBT+, also this is one of the most beautiful, strong, haunting a capella songs I’ve ever heard, and you know what, it is gay, it’s fucking GAY and it fits my OCs and they’re gay“I will break down the gates of heaven, a thousand angels stand waiting for me”
HONOURABLE MENTIONS:
Dancing On My Own by Calum Scott (cover of Robyn which got popular among the straights syke it’s gay and you’re all fooled); fallingforyou by The 1975 (cute and ethereal but I’ve had a 1975 song); Let’s Hear it for the Boy by Deniece Williams (from Footloose, the video is GAY and the lyrics make me smile, I wanna hear a dude cover this song so if you know one hmu); The Good Side, My My My, Talk Me Down, and Youth by Troye Sivan (TGS makes me cry my eyes out, MMM is hot, TMD takes my breath away, Y is so strong, BUT I’ve had a Troye Sivan); King by Years & Years (if a man ever called me his king i would fucking die instantly and the imagery in this song has me shivering); What’s It Gonna Be and Touch by Shura (gorgeous ethereal lesbian tunes); Girl Crush covered by Harry Styles (the original pisses me off bc it’s misleading and not gay but MISTER Styles saved it); Boys by Charli XCX (you don’t need a reason); Cool by Gwen Stefani (sounds like safety and friendship and warmth); Follow Your Arrow by Kacey Musgraves (song about following your OWN ideas and doing what you want and explicit gay lyrics)

How NFTs are fueling a digital art boom Written by Oscar Holland, CNN This article was updated following the auction of Beeple’s “Everydays: The First 5000 days,” which sold for $69.3 million. When graphic designer Mike Winkelmann started producing a drawing a day in 2007, he was simply looking for a way to improve his art skills. At best, the resulting “Everydays” project would help him promote his freelance work, which includes creating concert visuals for the likes of Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. But selling the digital images was not on his mind. This week, a compilation of over 13 years’ worth of the artworks, collectively titled “Everydays: The First 5000 days,” sold for $69.3 million via Christie’s, putting Winkelmann’s name among some of the art market’s most valuable living artists. A multi-million-dollar auction for Beeple’s “Everydays: The First 5000 days” closed this week at $69.3 million. Credit: Beeple/Christies “It’s a bit surreal, because (digital imagery) wasn’t really something that I pictured, in my lifetime, being able to sell,” said Winkelman, who goes by the name Beeple, in a video call from his home in South Carolina ahead of the sale. “So it (has) come out of nowhere. But at the same time, I also really feel like this is going to be the next chapter of art history.” Virtual art has been created, and talked about, for years. But now, thanks to endorsement from celebrities as diverse as Elon Musk, Lindsey Lohan and Steve Aoki, online buzz in art and cryptocurrency circles, and, perhaps most importantly, blockchain technology, it has not only entered the mainstream — it is generating huge sums of money for digital artists and online collectors. Beeple’s latest sale comes just weeks after his animated work “Crossroad,” which imagined Donald Trump’s naked, graffiti-strewn body slumped on the ground, was purchased online for $6.6 million. Elsewhere, a digital animation of the “Nyan Cat” meme — a flying cat with a Pop Tart for a body — earned its creator Christopher Torres almost $600,000 in a virtual auction. The musician Grimes meanwhile made $6.3 million in under 20 minutes selling a range of collectible digital artworks. At the center of this explosion in transactions are non-fungible tokens, or NFTs. Acting like virtual signatures, they address concerns that digital art’s value is diminished by the ease with which it can be copied or lost. While an oil painting can only be displayed in one place and has a definitive owner, a digital image, video or gif can be infinitely duplicated and enjoyed on screens around the world for free. This has often posed problems for prospective collectors, who don’t know how to price digital art and fear it will lose resale value. But now, NFTs are offering two things that the physical art market has always depended on: scarcity and authenticity. The rise of ‘non-fungible’ tokens NFTs are built on blockchain technology, which — just as it does with Bitcoin — offers a secure record of transactions. This digital ledger serves as incorruptible proof of ownership, meaning that “original” artworks and their owners can always be identified via the blockchain, even if an image or video is widely replicated. A “fungible” asset is one that is that can be replaced with another identical one of the same value, such as a dollar bill, while non-fungible ones, like NFTs, are tied to unique goods and are not mutually interchangeable. Like bitcoins, the tokens can be kept in a virtual wallet. They can then be sold or traded, often gaining value in the secondary market. This makes NFT artworks similar to physical ones — or any other real-world asset, according to Duncan Cock Foster, co-founder of Nifty Gateway, the platform behind Beeple’s and Grimes’ recent multi-million-dollar sales. “We have systems for collecting paintings, and we have systems for collecting sculptures. But until now, people hadn’t figured out a good way to collect digital art — and NFTs allow you to do that,” Cock Foster said on a video call, adding that buying tokens is easier and “a lot more accessible” than traditional art collecting. Related video: Just how much has the internet changed art? On Nifty Gateway, artists set the number of editions for any single artwork by deciding how many accompanying tokens will be made available. This can range from one-offs, where a piece is sold to a single collector, to open-edition “drops,” where tokens are made available for a limited period of time. The sale of Grimes’ “WarNymph” collection, for instance, allowed up to 9,999 purchases of various artworks within a seven-minute window. Several of the creations were listed for just $20 per token, some of which are now selling for thousands of dollars. By connecting artists directly to collectors, NFTs effectively cut out galleries and other traditional gatekeepers. While Cock Foster would not disclose the size of Nifty Gateway’s cut, he claims it is “far less” than what a gallery would usually take. For Beeple, this represents a “democratization” of the art market. “Now I have direct access to my audience,” he said. “I don’t have to go through an intermediary.” And there’s another benefit for digital artists: They can continue making money on their work, even after it has been sold. NFTs can allow creators to receive a cut on all future transactions — on Nifty Gateway, this is typically set at 10% — breaking with the centuries-old model whereby artists do not directly benefit when sold works grow in value over their lifetimes. (For instance, when a David Hockney painting sold for $90.3 million in 2018, setting an auction record for a living artist, the British artist didn’t receive a single cent from the sale. His dealer had sold it for just $18,000 in 1972.) One of digital images that Beeple produced daily from 2007. Credit: Beeple/Christies So, while Beeple made less than $67,000 when he originally sold his “Crossroad” animation, he pocketed a further $660,000 when the initial buyer sold it on. “The royalties are definitely something that make this much more sustainable and equitable for all parties,” the designer said. New breed of collector The collector behind the $6.6 million “Crossroad” sale, Pablo Rodriguez-Fraile, said that supporting creators is one of the unique benefits of investing in NFTs. While there is money to be made, and plenty of speculation happening in the crypto art market, the 32-year-old said that collecting digital works is about more than money. “I try to look into the life and career of the creators. I like to get in contact with them and meet them … for me, it’s important to see consistency and thoughtfulness about everything outside the art as well,” said Rodriguez-Fraile on the phone, adding that he is drawn to works that are “masterfully executed.” Beyond “Crossroad,” Rodriguez-Fraile said he has collected hundreds — perhaps thousands — of NFT artworks, selling only a handful so far. Beeple’s art often plays with pop culture icons in grotesque and unexpected ways. Credit: Beeple/Christies While the Miami-based collector was previously interested in blockchain and cryptocurrencies, were it not for NFTs, he said he would not be involved in buying art. His experience, like Beeple’s, suggests that the tokens are empowering a new breed of artists and collectors rather than taking a slice of the existing art market. “The analogy I like to make is Uber,” Cock Foster said. “When they were trying to make a forecast for Uber’s market size, they looked at the amount of money people spent on black cars (private car services). But because it’s so much easier to call an Uber than it is to call a black car, the actual market ended up being much larger than that. I really think we’re seeing something similar with NFTs. “They are lowering the barriers to collecting significantly,” added Cock Foster, whose platform operates under the ambitious tagline, “We will not rest until 1 billion people are collecting NFTs.” Future prospects Nifty Gateway may be a long way from its goal of 1 billion collectors, but the platform’s growth nonetheless reflects exploding interest in crypto art. In March 2020, the site recorded monthly transactions of $30,000; last month, this figure was up to $75 million, according to Cock Foster. This jump broadly coincides with another major force in the art world: Covid-19. With galleries and auction houses shuttered around the world — and people spending more time browsing the web or shopping online — NFTs have offered a new outlet for art enthusiasts. According to Beeple, this is why interest in the tokens has skyrocketed in recent months, even though the technology has been available since 2017. “You keep hearing that Covid has pushed things 10 years forward, and I think this honestly is a big part of it,” he said. “Everybody was sitting at home over the last year — so while I think this was inevitable, it really got accelerated.” The use of NFTs is now stretching far beyond the art world. DJ and musician Deadmau5 has used the tokens to sell digital merchandise, while the new Kings of Leon album is being released as an NFT. Nike is even reported to have registered a patent for tokenized shoes, branded “CryptoKicks.” This rapid growth has led to fears of an NFT bubble — one that may burst when the world emerges from pandemic-era restrictions. While collector Rodriguez-Fraile believes that “NFTs are here to stay,” he accepted that “we might be going through a period of hype … and I think the general ecosystem might slow down a bit when it comes to pricing.” For Cock Foster, however, the return to normality presents opportunities rather than threats — not least because galleries offer ways to experience digital art beyond a computer screen. “Digital art is very, very immersive,” he said, adding that displaying art is still important to online collectors. “So, I think we can build some really cool physical experiences.” This article was updated to reflect the final amount generated by Grimes’ NFT drop. "That's nothing," says Giselle, Christina's louder, drunker, and more exotic looking co worker.
"Our credit card machines were down one day, and a customer of mine got so pissed from waiting that he threw a fork at me! "Yeah, well, at least no one ever dined and dashed on you," Christina says, trying to one up her friend. "This professional looking couple came into my restaurant with two laptop bags and a lot of files. They looked like they were having some kind of extravagant business lunch, lots of drinks, appetizers, entr dessert, coffee, everything, and throughout their meal, they kept on leaving to go outside and smoke cigarettes. "After they were done eating, they got up one last time to go smoke, and on their way out, they asked for their check. I didn't think anything of it because all their files and their laptop bags were still at the table. Plus they came back every other time they left to smoke. So ten minutes pass, they're still not at their table, but I don't think much of it because I was in the weeds. Next thing I know, 20 minutes have passed, they're still not at the table, so I go outside to look for them. They're gone, I'm freaking out, so I go up to their table, open up their laptop bags, and find telephone books inside. The files were filled with magazines and blank pieces of paper. Their bill was well over $100, and I had to pay for the whole thing." Sounds like the working stiff got stiffed. And as a bartender slides a foamy six dollar Clickkeyword[Hoegaarden+Original+White+Ale]" >Hoegaarden before me, I throw down a ten dollar bill, add two more bucks, and tell her to keep the change. That was expected. But I got a little confused when they kept on asking for nothing but empty plastic cups and napkins at the concession stand. I still cringe whenever I see Clickkeyword[Jessica+Simpson]" >Jessica Simpson or Clickkeyword[Johnny+Knoxville]" >Johnny Knoxville bad memories." Looking back toward Yard House's transparent keg room filled with barrels, I spot a Simpson esque blonde at a high top table slamming a frilly ruby red grapefruit drink with three girlfriends. "I had a really bad experience applying for a job once and decided working wasn't for me." With that kind of ambition and work ethic, Amanda is clearly the Harvard alum, career minded Miranda of this group. "Right out of high school, I found a listing for a $20 an hour receptionist at a massage parlor on Clickkeyword[Craigslist+Inc.]" >Craigslist. During the interview, the owner asked me if I'd be OK with male clients walking around the place nude." "I don't know. Let me ask my parents what they think about that." "He said, 'I really don't think you should tell your parents about this kind of job.' Ends up the place was filled with prostitutes. Can you believe that?! Suddenly, Claudia, a nasal brunette in ankle boots, leggings, and an awkwardly placed waist belt, pipes up. "I'm so jealous that you don't have to work," she says while sloppily splashing an ounce or two of her Miami ice martini onto the table. "I work as a personal assistant and it totally sucks! I tried online dating huffington post
I'm Not In Love With Online Dating After Divorce Now I question if I was as pretty as I felt that night.  This mimics one of the central concepts of marketing and sales: The funnel— through which companies are supposed to systematically move prospects from awareness through consideration to purchase.  So the profile was written, with some slight embellishment regarding my interests -- hey, I could be a black belt in karate if I really put my mind to it.  All of the concepts were just abstract enough to find a specific analogue in my relationship.  Or was it my personality, my being? However, I never expected my life to be as difficult as it was.  I knew that anyone who stopped to read this would swipe to the next picture for sure! At least you are the same feeling: 37% of two people give up on his brother jon has hit a monogamous relationship expert lisa concepcion.
All The Online Dating Tips You'll Need To Survive Out There This is exactly the problem with internet companies today who have a killer product but can't even convince a customer to try them out.  I got the sense this story was more important to them than the other one.  Other established sections, such as Impact launched in 2010 as a partnership between Huffington Post and , Women, Teen, College, Religion, and the Spanish-language Voces en español are also sorted under the Voices meta-vertical.  And so we come to the final step.  They also fought over whether to buy a second home.  Before Katy Perry was attending concerts and festivals, wearing couples Halloween costumes, and taking lavish vacations , she was a big fan of Tinder.  His profiles were those of his alternate personalities e.
I Tried Online Dating And Nobody (NOBODY) Messaged Me Back She left that marriage with nothing but a Tibetan prayer rug, a sleeping bag and a cat.  On February 17, 2016, it was announced that the , Kate Middleton, would guest edit a series of articles as part of a collaboration designed to improve and better understand mental health issues affecting young people.  She went on two dates, one with an executive in the international steel trade named Larry, and one with a filmmaker named Stan.  For the life of me, I couldn't get a date.  International editions The Huffington Post launched its first international edition, HuffPost Canada, on May 26, 2011.
I'm Not In Love With Online Dating After Divorce His career took off when he met a psychologist named Robert Levenson.  A full, complete digital makeover! Uk by the free to customize options and antisocial personality traits.  Brightly lit pics with you smiling genuinely into the camera should do very well indeed.  Over a series of dates, I learned he was sweet and giving, with strong ethics and a fascinating mind.  Where to talk to know people in polyamorous relationships.
Huffington post dating and relationships I remember whinging to a male friend of mine about buying stamps and he very articulately pointed out that it costs more money to go out to meet someone once you factor in cab rides, drinks, entry to clubs etc.  Now, author dating and relationship goals may not be perceived by someone you're ready.  But Julie felt Chicago was too flat.  Again, not feeling like the belle of the ball, choosing a photo wasn't fun.  The realisation of this was eye-opening and depressing.  On October 10, -based Huffington Post Deutschland has been put online in co-operation with the magazine , covering.  As a writer and a marketer, it should have been almost effortless to create a dazzling dating profile.
Huffington post dating and relationships Would it be nice to wake up to a text message from someone saying 'good morning' because they care about me? As we saw the change on Julie's face, we all drew a breath.  Design your relationship, relationships, that's because most sought-after.  Previous investors and continued also to be involved in the business.  Tinder is fun but there are some rules stop with all the group photos! What could be better than having tailored dates sent to my inbox every day? Since I'm a very casual and fun-loving guy, I tried being funny in my bio as well, as a reflection of my personality.  Love, and their personal life difficult, and their way into.  Not that there's anything wrong with it but I'm not into one night stands either.
Huffington post signs you're dating a sociopath After a small to use this psychopathic charm is nothing to use.  Patrice Bendig is a Philadelphian who is trying to survive her twenties and not trip down any steps.  An outdoors date doesn't have to involve bungee jumping or extreme sports.  Which is why I'm not interested in just seeing someone for the sake of it.  Catch up and your date suggestions.
I'm Not In Love With Online Dating After Divorce If you're anything like me, you take eleventy million selfies and find one that could be used if you put it up in black and white so that the person looking at it can't tell that you've been tired since 2005.  And then he met Julie and felt unaccountably whole.  Families used it to acquire lands, to create stable legacies on which their next generations could build.  Would it be nice to have that feeling of being important to someone? Most of the guys were taken, while the others showed zero interest in my lame attempts to flirt.  But am I going to change who I am to get that feeling? Split is telling you may be a sociopath.  One 1992 experiment found that certain indicators in how couples talked about their relationship could forecast—with 94 percent accuracy—which pairs would stay together.
Huffington post signs you're dating a sociopath You can read her other musings on her blog, , and view her portfolio at.  No awkward pick-up lines, or reading between the lines.  Then I hit you with a call to action which leaves the prospect in no doubt whatsoever what she is expected to do next.  Yet your friends, God bless 'em, try to spur you on and release you back in to the dating wild by encouraging you to join online dating sites.  Girls texted saying they couldn't stop laughing after reading my bio and seeing my pics.
Huffington post dating and relationships That was a bust — most of the guys were taken, while the others showed zero interest in my lame attempts to.  Sexting as a decent date - peers.  With the launch of Al Huffington Post, there is a third edition, this time for the area.  Both fell silent for 20 seconds.  He came in late, beautiful in his crisp work clothes.

Kanye West's Sunday Service: has the rapper started a church?
It's a scene you might expect to find in a movie, or perhaps on Sunday morning TV. Surrounded by mountains, a gospel choir, dressed all in white, sings and chants at the direction of a man, also in white. Just outside the frame, members of the congregation, also all in white, break into rapturous dancing and chanting.
If it looks and sounds like a church service, it's probably a church service, but in this case, it's something a little different. The man at the centre is rapper/producer Kanye West, his hair dyed bright red and a huge smile across his face, and rather than standing behind a pulpit, he's behind a keyboard and a sampler, crouched down and bobbing his head to the beat. Behind him, percussionists wait for their cue to join the choir, banging on drums to supplement the music coming from West's sampler; in this case it's gospel musician Fred Hammond's This is the Day.
View this post on Instagram
A post shared by Kanye Sunday Services (@kanyesundayservices) on Feb 24, 2019 at 2:23pm PST
West had a tumultuous 2018, alienating fans with his remarks on slavery and his relationship with Donald Trump, but since the beginning of 2019, he's been looking for redemption through conducting what he calls Sunday Service. It's a music-focused event held in various locations, including in and around his home in Los Angeles, the Adidas headquarters in Portland, Oregon and even on an airplane mid-flight. It was recently announced that the next stop is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where West and his choir will be performing on Easter Sunday.
But what exactly is Sunday Service? Is it a recording session for a new album, a concert series, a church service, a celebrity cult? All of the above?
According to Kim Kardashian West, who also acts as the official videographer for Sunday Service, it's none of the above. "We didn't really have a name for it because it's more of just a healing experience," Kardashian, who was joined by sisters Kourtney and Khloé, said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"It's really uplifting and you feel excellent," added Khloé. "We have so many friends that maybe feel a little too judgmental when they go to church or something like that. When they come here they feel so free and safe."
There's no praying. There's no sermon. There's no word. It's just music and it's just a feeling.- Kim Kardashian West
When Kimmel asked, half-jokingly, whether they pray to Kanye or to a God at this church-not-a-church, Kim said, "Actually, there's no praying. There's no sermon. There's no word. It's just music and it's just a feeling."
At this point, her other sister, Kourtney, interjected with, "but it's Christian."
Despite the claim, there has been at least one sermon at Sunday Service, although it was delivered by rapper DMX, who lead the gathered attendees in a morning prayer on March 17.
youtube
Who is Sunday Service actually for?
As of yet, Sunday Service is an invite-only event, drawing in guests such as the West/Kardashian/Jenner family, but also David Letterman, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Diplo, Rick Rubin, Paris Jackson, Courtney Love, Leon Bridges, Francis and the Lights and more.
Guests are asked to not speak to the press about the event, making information on it scarce, but there seem to be no rules against recording and posting it on social media.
"Who else needs a little positivity today?" wrote L.A.-based vocal coach Stevie Mackey on Instagram after attending a Sunday Service. "I grew up singing in every choir in town so this brings back so many fun memories."
Even though it's not technically a church, it seems to be based on one, with the addition of West, who acts as a hybrid of emcee, conductor, producer and, well, pastor. The ultimate goal of Sunday Service, according to longtime West collaborator Tony Williams, is to communicate the message of love effectively," he told a crowd at during a Sunday Service at the Adidas headquarters. "This is the church to go with you out into the world."
Kanye and Gospel
None of this should come as a surprise to anyone who has followed West's career. Gospel music has long had an influence on the producer/rapper, and West has never been one to hide his Christianity.
On 2004's Jesus Walks, West rapped, "They said you can rap about anything except for Jesus/ that means guns, sex, lies, video tape/ but if I talk about God my record won't get played."
Jesus Walks is, naturally, performed as part of Sunday Service, as are many other spiritual versions of his songs. In the hands of the choir, for example, West's 2010 King Crimson-sampling hit song Power becomes an uplifting self-empowerment sing-along.
youtube
There are also covers of other songs, such as Marvin Gaye's Save the Children and the Beatles' Blackbird. West will also perform live remixes of songs, such as the aforementioned This is the Day, which earned Hammond's approval.
"When I heard and seen it ... um um um #kanyewest flipped it!" Hammond wrote on Twitter. "Save the negative comments about this Luke 19:40 'I tell you,'" he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out #choirmusicrocks."
Gospel samples have made their way into West's work in the past, dating back to his 2004 debut, College Dropout. His 2016 album The Life of Pablo was even called a hip-hop and gospel album. While it wasn't the uplifting album many fans had hoped for, parts of songs from Pablo that contain gospel elements are also regularly performed at Sunday Service.
There is also a workshop vibe to Sunday Service, especially when West remixes a song live or plays new music from his upcoming album Yahndi for the first time — an album that, judging on what we've heard, could be his most gospel-heavy yet.
If West is looking to put a controversial year behind him, it would seem he's looking to do it through gospel music — and hoping an Easter Sunday performance can give him redemption.

Work/Career/Job Employment /Therapy/Volunteer Entry 11 pertaining to Wednesday September 27 2017 initiated by Thursday  September 27, 2017
I Call Upon the Positive Influence of my heaven higher self and my heaven spirit ally team of the heaven worlds of divine love and divine happiness to channel the most benevolent and creative writings as inspired by the wisdom and uniqueness of both my higher self and the happy/celestial energy of heaven for both present and future.
I know that I wrote this before but I am following my intuition by including it again
Preface; please know that I feel blessed for my current job and I am just following my intuition and logic as it relates to my career and money life when it comes to starting a Work Volunteer Therapy posts in the public relations section of my blogs for at least googleplus and tumblr, wordpress to be determined
Each day and in every way I Stella Carrier am learning to become more self confident, happier, and to contributing a great deal that benefits those around me in all areas of my life both present and future
My work at the Vegan Station has helped me to intuitively and logically understand how vital it is for me to eventually go out more outside of work as many of the most friendliest and cheerful customers that I have remind me to be more outgoing andor self confident. Yesterday there was a high demand of fruit and sunflower cutlets at the station. I myself confess that I ate some pumpkin pie, some pulled pork meat, and other stuff that seemed to be in theme with the harvest event and concert that was going on at my job.
new fiction writing exercise inspired by my intuition to engage my imagination and creativity in my interest to cultivate my writing, storytelling creativity and spiritual interests-inspired by a Napoleon Hill exercise that I heard about through a youtuber online
My spirit is inside of a classroom with members of my celestial/heaven higher self sitting beside me. I ask them for any messages they have for me as I hand them a request for the following to help me spiritually evolve;  I Stella Carrier intend to successfully contribute to the greater good for everyone around me and for both my customers and coworkers for both the present and future in my professional/career life. A female spirit with long reddish/blonde hair and a purple and gold robe hands me a paper with the following advice until the next session; create an online schedule within the next 72 hours or less at least 3 weeks ahead of time of how often I intend to volunteer even as I am deciding volunteer choices to help me become a more multi-dimensional, social, and more self confident woman. I am also advised to include the following sources on my blog entry even in my work blog at least for today to help me formulate a fiction story within the next 30 hours or less. I also intuitively get a creative message to start carrying a notebook with me at work and away from work for creative storytelling inspiration as I intuitively feel it in my soul/higher self that writing is actually part of my karmic destiny/life purpose/life mission and one of my passions regardless of the outcome reflected in various areas of my life both present and future.

As a proud American born woman married to a unique and heart centered husband I strive to be fair when it comes to analyzing the male and female sides of a story. Even though the man referenced in this story “ghosted” his ex I actually feel sympathy for him having to voluntarily leave what sounded like a good job. I have to take him at his word that his ex was not following him but if I were him I would not have allowed even an ex I ghosted to affect when andor if I voluntarily leave a job. I wish that he could have had more unbiased female andor male friends to advise him as I felt he would have been better off staying at the job. Nonetheless, I wish him the best in his current job back in his new place of residence.

I understand where Nicole Yi is coming from in regards to her creative article. However, in regards to number 10, I agree that a person must be careful of filling that statement inside their subconscious regardless of whether they are in a relationship, married etc. However, I am willing to wager that most independent women who mean what they say when they say that they can go man-free are also more often reliant on a large network of family andor friends to get them by. I must speak up and say this because it has also become too common for some women and men to shame women who have been fortunate to find amazing husbands andor partners for implying that these women need to be more independent. Please understand that I am aware that there are some independent women who have learned to thrive even without a large andor significant network of family or friends. However, I am willing to bet that a greater percentage of independent women who metaphorically blast other women who are blessed to have good partners are also some of the same women who enjoy the blessing of a large network of family members andor friends (which is a good thing yet every women could benefit from some encouragement andor support whether it is from their friends, family, andor their partner/spouse etc. as I believe that heaven placed humans to live amongst each other for a reason). My point; It is a positive thing to label oneself an independent woman, yet for the happiest empowerment, it is vital to consider talking about an independent woman with the inclusion that there are some independent women who are blessed with remarkable andor wonderful partners/spouses etc.
10 Things to Never Say to an Independent Woman
 https://www.popsugar.com/love/Things-Independent-Women-Hate-Hearing-38890980
This article by Nicole Yi very inclusive and empowering. I especially find the compromise your passions helpful advice because it is my own fault but yes I admit that I passed on a government job opportunity outside the Washington D.C. area that would have eventually gifted me with greater job security (as many people are aware that a U.S. government job provides almost the same job security protection as the military)but that was in Virginia in the past before (June 2016) that I had to learn the challenging way to give my sweet husband advance notice of my plans but to avoid telling anyone else outside of he (my amazing husband)and I until I have solidified the plans on my own and talked to a bias free expert (career coach, therapist etc.) about my situation. However in regards to the number 1 advice I think it is ok to change your weight for certain reasons especially if you remember how much better you were treated andor appreciated more in various areas of your life when you were thinner. For instance, I noticed it has sometimes become a trend for other women and even some men to judge a woman for taking measures to get thinner while overlooking andor having yet to realize that the woman has encountered and overcome challenges in certain areas of her life (professional, family etc.) before she intuitively andor logically realized that some of those challenges can be mitigated with a thinner body regardless of critics may say about the pursuit of a thinner body in terms of various life results. Sometimes a woman does need to consider changing her weight  even  if she intuitively sees how that could help her career life in the long-term regardless of how many job andor career incarnations she logically andor intuitively knows that she may undergo/have. Some people love to put aspiring thinner women in a metaphoric box and claim that many of them are doing it purely for romantic andor sexual appeal reasons while overlooking that many aspiring thinner women have triumphed over living through both hell transformed to heaven in various areas of their lives to also see that becoming thinner would help her in other ways; i.e. becoming thinner would offer her more protection in the long-term career wise as she could eventually over-ride prejudgment and transform it to various triumphs in other areas of her life (i.e. other females-both outside work andor possibly from work- wanting to be friends with her, being more magnetic to other career opportunities regardless of if she pursues those opportunities within andor outside her current employment, just feeling even more good about how she looks regardless of how she is treated professionally andor personally etc, being more emotionally immune/having little concern in a happy way to how much she is appreciated as her thin body gives her a new sense of feeling like a goddess. I admit that one thing I want to recapture from being thin before and what drives me to become thinner again is that I realize now I felt more like a goddess, neither inferior or superior, regardless of how much I was appreciated externally andor how I was treated externally in various areas of my life. Yes, I know that it is vital to learn to feel like a goddess even now but becoming thinner would help shorten the timeframe as I use to be thin before which gives me firsthand experience that self confidence andor mental resilience can only carry you so far until you manifest your desired bodyweight. I reluctantly admit that some of  what I have had to go through to creatively andor powerfully transform into imaginative triumphs as an aspiring thinner woman could have been prevented had I listened to a military boss (now retired from the military as far as I know) that I had on the USS Eisenhower in Norfolk Virginia in late 2008. He was naturally and understandably critical of an eating habit that I had that I obviously understand could have helped my weight goals had I listened to the constructive criticism he was giving in regards to one of my eating habits.  I probably could have been thinner much sooner and maybe even already back in the military by now had I seriously heeded his advice that was actually constructive. However, I see the good in Nicole Yi’s recommendations on what a woman must consider doing if she wants to become a stronger woman.

Once again, as a proud American born woman married to an amazing husband I prefer to keep a balanced view when it comes to how I analyze both sides of the story gender-wise. Even when I was younger and before I met my current blessing of a husband it was hard for me to imagine andor follow through with committing domestic violence against any male who was involved with me even if I knew that they were only with me for a lustful fling. My husband and I have been through both challenges and good times together and even now I make sure to monitor and regulate myself to ensure that I am treating him right at all times especially because I am aware of how I may be stereotyped since I am a mixed race woman whose self confidence is a work in progress and my husband is both more highly attractive than me and is intelligent-more than just his self confidence others perceive his intelligence as well. My point-being a married woman myself and aware of the stereotypes especially involving interracial relationships I believe it is important for both people in a relationship even more so than non-interracial relationships to watch how they treat each other especially because other people are going to judge whether you want the judgement or not. With that said, if what Rob Kardashian said about Blac Chyna’s physical aggression is true then it is only justified that he seek a restraining order to prevent further altercations. Domestic violence is not justified whether it is a man committing the act on a woman or vice versa (andor obviously this applies to same sex relationships as well).

I admit that this article of the toddler interacting with Prince Harry shows his heart centered side.

I would love to share Michelle Obama’s viewpoint on my facebook account as I feel that she is a brave and courageous woman who is only speaking her truth. However, I have family members andor friends who have stood by me through both good times and challenging times who I may unintentionally offend even if what Michelle Obama said is true and even if I word it respectfully. As with Michelle Obama, I do want President Donald Trump to succeed even though I wanted Hillary Clinton to win. In Michelle Obama’s defense, she came in a mature and thought out manner on why she felt the way she did regarding women in connection with who voted for Hillary Clinton and who didn’t without resorting to name calling. However, this is one reason that confirms it for me to eventually purchase a new release book in October pertaining to Michelle Obama, a brave and self-confident woman.

I also admit that part of the reason why I voluntarily purchased this kindlebook of Chicken Soup For The Soul: Volunteering & Giving Back; 101 Inspiring Stories of Purpose and Passion by Amy Newmark and Carrie Morgridge both for volunteering ideas to make me a more multi-dimensional woman and to cultivate my intellectual curiosity and grit. Some of the volunteer stories covered in this kindlebook of Chicken Soup For the Soul;Volunteering & Giving Back 101 by Amy Newark and Carrie Morgridge; Carving Out A Future, The Work of Our Hearts, Reading Lessons, Purposeful Waiting, On A Mission, A Little Magic, and more.
Creative and Superb
I admit that I frequently find out about new music either through local radio, Amazon music, iheartradio, Pandora, youtube etc. I have to credit Pandora for recently introducing me to this noteworthy song that is Love So Soft by Kelly Clarkson which I unexpectedly heard on local radio less than 3 hours later and I am glad that is available on Amazon. This song is so addictive because Love So Soft by Kelly Clarkson seems to be about a euphoric andor fun type of love that only gets better with time.
