I cleaned my room, including the pile of packaging detritus in the corner that's been making me unhappy since weeks ago when I ordered a bookshelf and dumped the box + styrofoam in the corner. Brutally ripping apart the cardboard box with my bare hands was kinda cathartic 😌

okay but can we talk about Cayde's story in the Final Shape for a moment. the way it has been done so graciously gave me a whole new level of respect for the writers.

it's the epitome of "came back wrong". damn, he didn't want to come back, he says so. he wanted to drift and just rest.

but fate spinned and turned and said no, you get to do something first.

Cayde gets to say goodbyes. not directly, but I think it was there, when he hugged Zavala and Ikora. he got to kick some Witness ass that put him in the ground in the first place. he got to finish the dare and hand down his laurels to someone else, and not just someone!

and the best of all, when it was time, he got to choose to go out on his own terms.

"nobody makes my fate but me" is not only a nod to the infamous paracausal creed, but also a choice. no wish dragon gets to decide, nobody but Cayde himself. this is a knife worthy of severing even the strongest 'magic' that brought him back to life.

i think that is such a powerful turn of storytelling, i'm truly blown away. it feels respectful, emotional, weighty and just... beautiful.

THE MOMENT I STARTED WATCHING STAGE PLAY I KNEW IT WAS OVER FOR ME

man. man. something I really like about stage play is how they protrait the characters and their personality because on game you don't have much about it so so. I REALLY LOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS THEY ARE SO FUNNY WIWIWIIW

But you already may know what this post it's about so 🪦🪦🪦 uhhhm. There is something I LOVE so much about Eli and it's how much PATIENCE he has. He is always so sweet and affectionate to everyone... When Aesop was having problems he and Lucky Guy were the ones by his side, he always asked him how he felt and was there all the time and I LOVE that all the time he wasn't the typical "it's going to get better" and that's it, NO. HE WAS THERE TO LISTEN AND ACCOMPANY AESOP EVERY MOMENT (even when they were about to DIE), AND THE SAME HAPPENED WITH MARY ON EPISODE 3, he was there for her even when she wanted to kill him.

It just made me so emotional to see how loving he is to everyone, I'm still surprised about it and now his stage play personality is just EXACTLY how I think he is in general and... And.a..m that's the thing that really got me becus becus oooom... He is such a sweetheart I can't.

Something I really find cute is how he always points out how beautiful the moon looks and I just imagine him and Valentine star gazing... holding each other's hand... Or just taking a night walk to refresh their minds... wiwiwiw

ALSO LOOK AT HIS COSTUME HE LOOKS SO PRETTY HANDSOME BEAUTIFUL MWAMWA I LOVE IT SO MUCH. LOOK AT ALL THAT DETAIL AOUUGHH, I really love how the feathers look, it gives him such a soft and fluffy look and it makes so much contrast with the metalic blue oiauughj It looks perfect

And. I have to say this because. man. HIS VOICE. HE SINGS SO MUCH ON STAGE OLAY AND IT'S JUST. SO BEAUTIFUL, I'm actually thinking on dowloading the songs to listen to them while going on the bus because AOIGUUH
