I've gotta stop thinking about Turlough's age and timeline bc its driving me insane. Like he was apparently exiled on earth for 8 years, which makes sense in terms of Malkon being an infant when he left. But on his side if he was at the school for the whole exile which it seems like he was, then did he look aged 10/11 when he arrived? That doesn't seem right since he was a soldier on trion but how else did he grow up alongside his classmates?
#ik im putting more thought into this than the writers did 😅#but i thought his exile was 2 maybe 3 years and then i watched planet of fire and it was like yeah malkon was a toddler when turlough left#so now im in this rabbit hole#but also can you imagine 8 years away from your home and family without any contact or even news from your planet#and the atmosphere makes you sick and youre stuck in a public school with people who dont even know theres life on other worlds#i dont blame turlough for taking the first chance to get off earth even if it did involve murder 😅#doctor who#vislor turlough#like id assume sarn/malkon is at a point further ahead than turloughs timeline but that still doesnt explain the 8 years

Lucy Carlyle: Impact of her Early Life
As part of the general Lockwood & Co Brainrot that I suffer from, I spend a lot of time thinking about the characters, their motivations, and what they words and actions reveal about themselves, and have been wanting to make some posts about their characterization. Disclaimer: I have exactly zero qualifications to make these assumptions.
Obviously, Book!Lucy and Show!Lucy have some differences. I think Book!Lucy keeps a lot more to herself, but as she's the narrator, we get to know what she's thinking from the inside. Also, there's been some discussion about whether Lucy is an "unreliable narrator" (I have even referred to her that way myself), but it may be more due to how our perception of events is colored by our own emotions and memories. Lucy is, I think, big on self-denial, at least when it comes to admitting her emotions and weaknesses to herself and others. She often relates events that must have had a deep influence on her persona without outright stating how these events shaped her. This is directly due to her early life and experiences.
So what do we know about her early life? She was born to a working class family in a small town in North England ("slate roofs and stone walls"), and Lucy mentions she never remembers her father (who died when she was 6) ever calling her by name. Imagine your parent never actually saying your name; how insignificant would you feel? Both Lucy's parents in the books were big on physical punishment for her and her 6 older sisters; other than punishing them, the girls were mostly ignored. Lucy mentions that her Talent first became known to others when she was 6 years old (incidentally the same age at which Lockwood's appeared), although she later says she can remember hearing voices whispering in the streets after curfew as a "kid in my crib". Her mother waited impatiently until she was 8, old enough to be pulled out of school and employed at Jacobs & Co. Again, her only value is as a source of income.
Book!Lucy was proud to be an agent, but it seems her employer, Jacobs, should not have held the position he did. He was, apparently, the only researcher in his Agency, and he did a piss poor job of it judging by the number of child agents who die on his watch. However, even he could see Lucy's extraordinary Talent, and she is promoted twice as fast her peers, achieving her third grade by age 11. This doesn't, however, seem to add to her self-esteem in any appreciable way. She obviously cared deeply for her fellow agents; she describes spending all of her free time with them and rarely seeing her family. Their loss would have to have affected her deeply. But after listing their names, she says, simply, "They're all dead now."
She characterizes herself as unattractive (a clear departure from Show!Lucy played by the undeniably gorgeous Ruby Stokes). Lucy mentions, "as my mother once said, "Prettiness wasn't my profession." She also states that she was quick on her feet but not especially skilled with a rapier. It may be possible that Lucy is prettier than she realizes, or that she has charisma or grows into her looks; she certainly catches the attention of her subsequent employer, Lockwood.
So how does her childhood experience shape Lucy? She underestimates herself and her skills. She sees mostly her own weaknesses and deficiencies. This shouldn't be unexpected when she has grown up with no one who values her for anything except a powerful Talent and a possible source of income. Her self-doubt causes her to be critical of others, looking to see if they are better than how she perceives herself, or if she is the stronger candidate in any area. Being rejected by her father and mother as a young child, and by six agencies in seven days upon arriving in London can't help. She also has a deep desire to be loved and valued (who wouldn't?). As she's only around 13 when she sneaks away from home to go to London, I think her reactions and insecurities are very believable.
Lucy is an exceptional Listener; even she is willing to admit that. It means that she lives in a strange kind of reality, always responding to a wealth of input that isn't readily available to anyone else. But she doubts her own ability to make the right choice based on the information she has. She blames herself for not picking up anything concrete to prevent the deaths of her teammates at Wythburn Mill.
She describes herself as taking orders well and working well as part of a team, but this really underscores her doubts in her ability to choose correctly in dangerous situations. Even her initial outburst with George is fueled by embarrassment rather than self-confidence. Early in the books, she is reluctant to challenge Lockwood on anything in the field, and unable to see where others respect or admire her. These insecurities will cause her to raise Lockwood up on a pedestal and look down on George. Perhaps she sees in George aspects of herself she doesn't like, or prefers Lockwood's aloof treatment of difficult subjects over George's razor sharp wit and perceptiveness.
She's a complex and relatable character, both brave in battle and insecure in her relationships. She desperately wants love and acceptance, but can't offer either to herself. She's only sure of her Talent, and because of this, is drawn to cross the veil of life to engage and empathize with the dead rather than take the risk of fully immersing herself in life. These traits will fuel her exponential growth in her abilities, but also put herself and those she loves at risk, until she is able to finally accept herself for who she is: strong, weak, brave, Talented, perceptive, afraid and also very capable, loving, and loveable, and loved.

My to do (one day i swear) fics masterlist (forgive the messy summaries and useless commentary i literally made this two weeks after seeing the movie and didnt touch it until today lol )
1 Titanic AU for this one im still thinking abt the general plot (edit 28/01: i have the plot but i have to write it lol)
2 Coryo has his grandma and cousin 'captured', it has some consequences on his psyche and thoughts... ( he believes them dead--> during the scene after the games with Highbottom implies they might be dead the little shit) and is directly (like literally forced, hes not allowed to see his family) sent in District 12....
3 (in this one they're technically older than in canon), before the war they meet many times (from 10 to 15/16y), then the war happens: they meet again during these events, (the Covey didnt partake in the war in the novel, but im still deciding though if Lucy Gray'll choose a 'side' to help or not...edit 28/01: she will pick a side hehe and not its Coryo's) ...(...maybe , after, the angst during the war, then the 13 win and they meet at opposite side of the line...and then forced to be together due to the new 'Games'.?????..bruh i have so many tropes and AU mixed in this one)
4 okay, so this is a Star Wars AU...(not Anidala i swear...they just...dont fit them i think) so idk if you watched Rogue One, but it'll be loosely inspired by this movie...
5 College/University AU, where Coryo is forced (literally, he is blackmailed by professor Highbottom) to tutor Lucy Gray otherwise he (C. Highbottom) wont valid his stage/work (or smt like that idk precisely yet since i dont know a damn thing abt American or British university ) - and he choose Lucy Gray especially for him bc he knows Coryo'll be pissed abt it and wont succed (well, he thinks he knows Coryo wont succeed, but little did he know...) so Coryo not exactly happy abt having to tutor this...girl. (pretty snobby abt it too)...their start is very...rocky...(i have written their meeting scene (well, the official meeting) already )
6 (edit 28/01: this one is very shitty i hesitated to let it on this post but here take what my snowbaird brainrot managed to imagine lol) ...due to the fragile 'peace' between districts and Capitol after the war, the new government decided to send children/teens/adult to differents district or Capitol (a sort of 'exchange'.... well and also 'you start doing suspicious things, we have your people in 'hostage' kind of thing) and for them to live in it (for a limited amount of time), and if they succeed without raising any problems, they can come back 'home' (little did kid Coryo know he will end up loving district 12....not right away of course, right now hes rather angry, disgusted by 12 and a condescending little shit... )
7 (edit 28/01: i wrote a more insightful plot for this, i'll add it tomorrow) Lucy Gray, killed in the forest wake up to the day of her reaping.
8 another modern AU (sorry if u dont like that) inspired by Mamma mia (i fully blame the whole movie album) with, of course some twist and changes...(edit 28/01: it can works my brain said so to me)
9 WHELP. ANOTHER MODERN AU. so. i wont detail everything here (its the first fic idea i had and i did work a little more on it ) but, Coryo after 3/4 years in the military (forced by his mom but theres more to it of course also,/ not thinking abt real military accuracy now) come back to see his friend Sejanus - yeah, he really is friend (reluctant) Sejanus in this,(Sejanus, who due to some events- his father death???- created with his mom a scholarship for students who live in less priviligied areas of the town/or country??? still thinking abt it ) . So. Coryo come back just to see his only (with Clementia of course) friend doing buddy buddy with Lucy Gray. Lets say hes not happy....
10 Im sure others already thought of this one, but if Highbottom was more of a close 'mentor/fatherly' figure to him after the war??? ( not only, but also manipulating Coryo to his own ends)
12 And Actors AU because well, they're both performers in their own right and Actor/actress + (fake dating maybe??) + a past still haunting them + lowkey despise you = perfect angst.
#snowbaird#Take all my plotbunny i managed to make during my first Snowbaird brainrot after the movie#sorry its shitty but hey at least i tried...happy to share it with y'all once and for all though#lucy gray#lucy gray baird#coriolanus snow#coryo x lucy gray#coryolucy#my post#fanfic ideas#DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY#REALLY I HAVE TO RE-WORK ON EVERYTHING/PLOT/SETTING ETC SO I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY

was that amita suman? oh no no, that was just inej ghafa, a canon character from the grishaverse. they are twenty three years old, use she/her, and are aware that they are not actually from washington dc. too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.
how long has your character been here
i think it’s only been a few weeks but inej is a fast learner and doesn’t want to look like she’s behind the curve or an easy target so if anyone asks she’d say it’s been nearly 8 months and she’s been settled for a while
what is your character’s job
uhhh lemmie get back to you on that i cannot imagine she’d be doing some normal chill job if she knew kaz was here so i will edit this when i figure it out!
where has your character been pulled from in their fandom
okay after season 1 of the show for now? i own the first book and season 2 comes out in like two days so we’ll see how long this lasts take it was a grain of salt tbh i’m figuring it out and this could change as i plot/consume more of the media
has any magic affected your character
nope!
any other info!
so! i have only watched the first season of the show so far but i have the first book and will be hopping on it! i know they’re pretty different but i’ve already looked some background stuff up for the sake of knowing the character so def don’t feel like you need to worry about spoilers or anything if we’re plotting please inform me! some standard inej info now! it is just some general vibes because this was an impulse take after i watched the show in two days and lost my mind but though i am figuring her out i am very excited to write her!
she grew up as a traveling performer with her family doing acrobatics
as a teenager she was captured and sold to a pleasure house known as the menagerie and was stuck there until kaz bought her contract. after that she joined his gang as a spy for them
she’s skeptical of people but not rude. if anything i would say that despite her life and circumstances she’s relatively friendly. she’s reserved but she wants to trust and wants people to be good and can be a very good friend if she decides that you’re someone trustworthy
stubborn and sticks to her beliefs! good luck trying to change her mind it’s not gonna happen especially when it comes to her morals and her beliefs!! is not here to just follow what everyone’s saying and i love that for her
she is reserved though. she’s not the sort to naturally talk to strangers and she’s certainly not chatty. she typically learns from watching people rather than conversation, and clearly it works because she’s gotten
very stealthy and can move without really making any noise at all. has a tendency to accidentally sneak up on people
always has several knives on her and will stab people if necessary. she tries to have her limitations, but she is very protective and will do what she has to do to keep the people she cares about alive and then will feel bad about it after
is frustrated to be here when there are things she considers to be important back home but also has some peace in being far far away from the menagerie
#hw: intro#there is a chance i start the book by tomorrow#just cause i need more of the crows#( intro && inej )

Ministry Qualifications
"Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. He came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs that you are doing unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a person once grown old be born again? Surely, he cannot reenter his mother’s womb and be born again, can he?” Jesus answered, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit". John 3:1-5
(CF. Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4-38, Mark 16:14-26, Matthew 28:19-20,)
Some time ago I out together a training course called God's Grunts: Training The New Third Order. This is designed for the person who is called to the ministry but has not time to seek professional training. This is a condensed version to get one started in evangelizing and then discipling.
However, it has come to my attention that some might not be ready yet to grab their mantle and go. The qualifications for the Lords ministerial work is two fold. One must be "born again" and water baptized. The second part is also crucial in that one needs to be Spirit baptized too. If Jesus told the desciples to wait until the Holy Spirit comes upon them then everyone else needs that same experience too. Getting baptized into the Holy Spirit means two things; 1. God has accepted you as family and 2. You are now ready for ministry.
Now, how do I know God is calling me into ministry? The easiest answer I can give is that for me it was a near audible calling and anew found need to learn what I was to do. For others, the call me be more subtle in that one just finds a path that works perfectly.
Some of us that were called God moved us away from our home base. I imagine this was for us to learn unencumbered by friends, family and others. Instead, we are given to others to teach us, or disciple us. My example is that I went to a Pentecostal Bible College in Louisiana. After that I moved to southeastern Tennessee where I stayed for 9 years. In the meantime, I was called into the Catholic Community where I taught for three years through the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) prograsm. After that, I maintained a laid-back street ministry with bikers, punks, junkies, and gay folks. They all needed Jesus, but did not wish to hear any religious BS. They heard it all before, but never actually seen it in their lives.
This is a part of the training, to learn to be that beacon of light without being religious. Jamming Jesus down anyone's throat is a total loser. You might be surprised at how many will listen to you when you pray for them. They may not make any steps right then, but the seeds are planted and that is what counts.
In closing, one cannot do this without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Letting God work through you is not easy, but He produces results.
“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:13)

Back In The Saddle
Back In the Saddle:
I went to bed way too late. I got my second wind at 9pm and ended up staying up until 3:49am. I was working on my horror script for a little, then watched the movie BARBARIAN as a palette cleanser. Gotta say this movie was quite entertaining — with the caveat that the underlying reason for the horror was downright awful.
youtube
However, as scary movies go it was original (-ish.) There are shades of Fede Álvarez’s DON’T BREATHE. Part of what makes BARBARIAN feel fresh and surprising is the way writer-director Zach Cregger chose to tell the story. It was like a puzzle where you keep finding new pieces in the box. High recommend for you horror fans.
(A special nod to the editing here. Done with a deft touch by Joe Murphy. There are two cuts in particular that I don’t want to go into detail on for fear of ruining the movie for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but they work in a way that impacts the viewer as only movies can. After the first cut, I was instantly disappointed I hadn’t seen Barbarian with an audience. It’s the kind of scene movies are made for, and why the best experience is still a dark movie theater.)
After the movie ended, I read some of the Lee Child novel I am into, but it still took another hour to fall asleep because I was still thinking about the movie, whcihis the mark of any good story. It sticks with you.
I finally dozed off just before 4am.
Fortunately, my wife is home today so she was able to get the kids up and at ‘em this morning (usually I am the early riser who makes breakfast). I woke up at 8:17, and rolled out of bed about ten minutes later.
Also fortunate is the fact that our children are all feeling better, one well enough to return to school. As a parent you can’t think quite straight when your kids are sick. Thank God for the blessings of good health. So off to school the middle child went, not without some protest once she realized her two siblings were staying home.
Sorry, kiddo.
Took the next couple of hours to ease into the day. I made breakfast for Nic and myself, then we cleaned up the house and tended to the laundry list of requests from the two children still home sick today. My son’s catchy sing-song way of asking for something — a melodic “I waaaaaant” — is heard so often that we’ve taken to responding to it by echoing it in our own octave ranges.
Finally, around 11:15am I turn to the writing. I remember like 20 years ago Kevin Smith did one of the first daily blogs I ever read. He used to write about the minutiae of his day in hourly detail. This included him discussing what he was working on and more importantly how he was going about getting his work done with a young family at home. I found it fascinating. I take a lot of inspiration from that, and from the Steve Martin autobiography, “The War Years” which is among my favorite books on having a career creating art that entertains people.
Stephen King says that audiences love to read about people working. I suppose it’s because as Studs Terkel once intuited work is something we all do.
Another of my favorite books on writing is “Working Days,” Steinbeck’s journals from when he wrote The Grapes of Wrath. It shows Steinbeck, one of the great masters of the craft, doing his work in the most routine and ordinary of ways.
As writers today are fond of saying: “butt in chair, fingers on keyboard.”
One reason I like that book, and a blog like Smith’s is they deglamorize the art of writing.
Writing perhaps more than any other of the art forms requires deglamorization. Dance, painting, or sculpting say, seem to be imbued with a sense of elevation, of rising above it all. Writing on the other hand seems to require a declination. You have to get down and dirty. You have to strip everything away, get quiet, and let the imagination roam free to explore the limits of who and what you are writing about. If done right you wallow in flaws and failure. Not just those of your characters by design, but your own by default.
So then, enough delay, off to the day’s work.
I am still working on the few chapters leading up to the book’s ending. Though I prefer to write without an outline in first draft, there comes a point where the ending is in sight. At which point I write to that ending. Typically, a climactic scene takes shape in my mind and I attempt to steer the characters toward it.
During revisions, I am adjusting and tightening and shaping the character’s moves to get there so that (hopefully) the story keeps the audience guessing, enthralling them until the final showdown.
The goal is to be unputdownable.
Like all great books.
One of my favorite feelings in life is being caught in the grip of a good story (book, movie, tv show).
Everything else fades away.
You know the feeling. It’s that moment when you finish a chapter or an episode and you know you are going to read/watch the next one. It’s usually around this time that the excuses start to form in your head as to why you are going to be late for work tomorrow — or not go in at all. Heck, I’d skip work for a “Gone Girl” an “Exodus” or “The Dead Zone” any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
To the ink mines then. I will see you on the other side.

Blue Notes (Albert Shaw/The Grabber x Musician Reader) One Shot
Summary: You arrive in Denver to pursue your dream of being a music teacher, however, you meet a mysterious character…
Words: 1369
I think you might like this: Little Fighter (Albert Shaw/ The Grabber X Reader) One Shot є(•⌔•)э
You were always such a nice and musical girl.
When you were 8 years old, your parents decided to take you to the depths of music, its variants, its history, its tones, all of that fascinated you, made you feel so unique and vibrant, so special, to feel the keys of music. grand piano under your thin but still firm piano touch. Although, without a doubt, your second passion was to teach other people the wonders of musical sounds and tones, creating everything they could imagine through a few notes of any instrument created, including new sounds and creativity to new instruments.
At the age of 25 you decide to move to Denver, Colorado. Away from your family to start a new life in a high school as a professional music teacher.
Who would have thought that it would be the beginning of your downfall?
█║▌│█│║▌║│█║▌║▌║
August 23 1976 10:32.
Drag the last box left to the living room of your new home. A simple and spacious home, simple in any way, even if your own parents wanted to offer you a mansion with all the money they had, you always preferred the simplicity of things.
You looked out the window, watching the blazing sun beat down on Denver. That August 23 was over 89.6 °F (32 °C), you were really exhausted. You lay down on the cold ground, feeling a shiver at the sudden cool touch beneath you. —I never thought that a move could be so difficult and tedious— you sighed exhaustively, you got up from the floor to start organizing the house, carefully observing each mountain of boxes present in the living room.
— It's really going to be a long day—,you said, stretching your arms and neck to get down to business with the move.
August 23 1977 15:46
You looked at the kitchen clock, two hours had passed since lunchtime and your stomach was roaring like a hungry lion. You looked at the only box left in the living room from the kitchen door. Taking a sip from the cup of ice water you had, you looked at the large box that contained his most prized artifact, his piano. You smiled a little, ready to finally assemble the instrument.
—Where have I left the toolbox?— You crossed your arms, frowning, "Maybe I left it in one of the boxes... No, I've emptied them all." You quickly went to the green phone in the kitchen and dialed a number. You waited a few seconds before a man's voice came through him.
—May I ask who is calling?
—Your wife's lover.
—Oh, it's you— he said with much distaste.
—What the hell do you want?
—My fucking toolbox, bring it— you demanded in a serious voice.
— I knew you were going to call about her, well, about that...
— Did you put it up your ass?
— What? Of course not, idiot.
— I gave it to Dylan last week, DON'T KILL ME.
— YOU'RE STUPID? DID YOU ALSO SUCK DYLAN WHEN YOU GAVE IT TO HIM?!
— I told you that box was sacred, where will I get one now?
— Well, in the hardware store.
— And the tools to assemble the piano?
— I don't get into that anymore
— Why don't you ask him to bring him to where you are?
— It's a long time, and classes start in early September.
— Go to the hardware store, try it at least, is there one near your house?
— Yeah, a couple of streets away, I don't know exactly if it's open...
— Well, you know, anything else you need?
— Can I give your wife a cunnilingus?
— Stay away from me and my wife.
— She misses you a lot.
— And you, miss me?
— Of course not, die and go to hell.
— Of course I miss you, (y/n)
— I miss you guys too.
— Come visit us soon.
—I'm going to go to the hardware store, have a good time.
—Don't forget to have fun, fuck from time to time with some hot guy in Denver.
Before you could answer, your friend hung up, you flashed a small smile at the conversation you had with him. —Let's go to the hardware store—you dressed in a comfortable way, you grabbed your backpack and the keys to leave the house.
You walked a couple of minutes down the streets, and then you glimpsed the hardware store, it was open, that lifts your spirits, you were anxious to assemble the piano.
The doorbell rang, indicating that someone had entered the store, there was no one, you were "alone" in the place. You started browsing the shelves, looking for a good toolbox for your home, not forgetting the specific tools for your piano. You didn't notice the large, stocky figure sneaking up behind you, staring at your back and your (long/medium/short) colored hair (c/h).
—Are you looking for something specific, miss?— Surprised at the sudden deep voice, you turned around, meeting a pair of wonderful blue eyes, slightly shocked at the color of the eyes, staring at him. —Miss?— He looked at you again, and coming out of the trance of his eyes looking at the ground, completely blushing, you answered.—Excuse me sir, I'm looking for a toolbox...—you say before a shy whisper.
You were always shy of new surroundings and people, plus the man was extremely attractive and something, you deduced that he was around 40 or 50 years old due to the wrinkles that form on his forehead. You looked up again, specifically at the label on his short-sleeved work shirt “Albert Shaw”, you read in your mind.
—I have a perfect box model for you, I won't be long— The man turned around, you looked carefully at his back and his long hair as he walked away from you a little. You looked at the ground again extremely flushed, feeling a warmth in your cheeks and stomach.
—I've never seen you around here, did you come to Denver recently?— You saw his intention to start the conversation, he looked in your direction and you nodded quickly, he took the box and went to the counter, you quickly followed him.
—Did your husband send you to buy a toolbox?— You were surprised at the question and looked at him doubtfully, —No, I'm not really married, the box is for me—. You could have sworn you saw a small smile break out on the man's face. —Strange, a beautiful woman like you with no one—.
You blushed furiously at his flirtation towards you, deciding to fight back, you asked in response. —A man like you isn't married?— No doubt he didn't see it coming, the man continued packing things, —No, I'm not, do you need something else?—.
You quickly spread out the list with the specific tools for your piano, —if it's not too much to ask, do you think you have these tools?—, the man took the list and read it carefully, —of course, what's more, you can come for them tomorrow by the morning if you wish. You smiled kindly, took out your wallet and paid for the box.
—Have a good day sir—, you said goodbye, turning around and leaving the store.
“That woman is going to be mine”, thought Albert, watching as she walked away from the counter, she grabbed the money from the table. He noticed there was a white piece of paper with something written: "Feel free to call me later if you have time :)" next to a phone number on it.
You got home quickly, you left your things in the kitchen while you sat on one of the chairs, you kept thinking about that man and how you were dumb enough to give him the landline of your own house. you covered your face with your hands very embarrassed.
Something in him attracted you and you didn't know what it was, or even if it was allowed to feel something like that, "I feel like I'm going to explode", you thought.
And that same night you started to compose a song towards him, Blue Notes.
█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌║▌║
Note:
GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE IT
I have finished this first one shot, thank you very much for reading.
I apologize for the grammatical errors and above all, I hope I have reflected well a wonderful Albert flirty with his (y/n).
See you next time, little grasshoppers :)

Hi luv, can you do a angst to fluff Miranda Priestly imagine where Andrea comes back to Runway to confess her feelings for Miranda, but Miranda is in a relationship w/ the reader and has to choose between them. At the end Miranda chooses the reader!
Wants and Needs
Title from Drake's song -"Wants and Needs"
Pairing: Miranda Priestly x Reader
Genre: Angst -> Fluff
Word count: 2k
A/N: God you know I'm a sucker for angsty Miranda 😫 I hope you like it! All mistakes are mine ;-;
__________
The phone landed on the sofa with a soft bounce as you sat back into your own chair with a sigh.
You just got a call from Nigel. He called you right when he got back from leaving Miranda’s office and told you that he saw her walking into the office.
Her being the infamous Andrea Sachs.
The young journalist was known as the one who walked away alive. And thanks to Nigel, you also knew Andrea as the girl who was in love with her ex-boss and your girlfriend, Miranda Priestly.
It wasn’t new information to those who knew the young journalist. Nigel had told you that the girl developed feelings for the editor during her tenure at Runway. So far, the girl never showed any interest in Miranda after she walked away in Paris, and you hoped it stayed that way.
Your relationship with Miranda wasn’t public and you liked it that way. Miranda wanted to keep things underwraps until the both of you were ready to face the numerous paparazzi, critics, and the unavoidable page six, but keeping things underwraps meant that no one knew the editor was taken.
There was no reason for the girl to be at Runway unless...no, no, you needed to use a wise mind. But the journalist wrote small columns in a mediocre newspaper, so why would she be in Runway’s offices?
You tried your best to not jump to conclusions but if anything, you had faith in Miranda. She didn’t like to be bothered during Runway hours unless it was a family matter so you knew she would ignore the girl.
You hoped she would.
You didn’t know much about how Miranda felt about Andrea, she never talked about it.
Either way, there was nothing you could do with the information you were given, you weren’t going to call Miranda at work,
So you just waited.
~~~~~~~
The shutting of the front door followed by heels clacking on tiled floors told you that Miranda was home.
You didn't need to check the time for it to tell you that Miranda was late, more late than usual.
You followed her movements with your hearing, never breaking your staring contest with the painting in front of you.
She was getting closer.
You didn’t have to tell her where you were, you didn't have the energy to anyway but she always came to the study to work on the book.
“Darling there you are.” Miranda bent down and pressed a small kiss to your forehead.
You responded with a hum and watched as your lover made herself comfortable on the sofa across from you.
“How was your day? Did you manage to turn in your project on time?” she asked as she put on her reading glasses before turning to the book.
You were too out of it to answer her questions. Your day was...fine, it was tolerable, but your mind was running at a thousand miles per second and it made you despondent.
Not getting a reply from you, Miranda looked up from the book, “Darling?” she asked softly, "is everything alright?"
"Hm?" Your eyes found icey blue ones that were filled with concern. "Oh, yeah–yes, everything's fine."
Satisfied with your response, Miranda sent you a soft smile before she returned her focus to the fashion pages in her lap.
The silence that followed swallowed you whole, only broken with the few scratches of Miranda's red pen and the flipping of pages.
"Why was Andrea at Runway today?"
At least you held off for longer than you thought you would.
Miranda's focus didn't falter, the only telltale sign that she heard you was the sharp inhale through her nose.
"What are you talking about darling?"
"Andrea Sachs. Why was she there?"
Miranda made no move to stop her work and you sighed,
"It's just a question Miranda."
Knowing that she couldn't get any work done until you were addressed, Miranda finally looked up at you, taking her glasses off in the process,
"If you must know, she was just there to talk."
"Okay," you nodded slowly, "talk about what?"
The white-haired editor fluffed her hair before she waved you off, "It's nothing, really."
"Miranda you never just 'talk' to someone during work let alone an ex-assistant who walked out on you. She worked for you Miranda, I thought you wouldn't be caught dead with someone like–"
"Do NOT talk about Andréa like that," Miranda snapped.
Miranda had never raised her voice at you and it made you physically flinch. She was defending Andrea.
For the first time since the relationship started, you were shaken. You couldn't read Miranda at all and it scared you.
Without warning, your mask slipped in place and you became eerily calm,
"What happened," you said quietly.
Miranda had gone back to the book albeit working slower than usual,
"The girl merely wanted to have dinner."
The puzzle pieces were settling into place. You could feel your stomach clench. Your heart sped up, and you felt your nerves set off as the waves of anxiety spread from your chest throughout your whole body,
"That's why you were late wasn't it…"
Miranda simply continued with her work as she pushed some of her bangs out of her eyes, "Don't be ridiculous Y/N, it was just about friends catching up."
"You never talked about her, you refused to talk about her, she isn't just a 'friend' Miranda."
There was a silent pause as you observed your lover. Her own mask was in place and she was blatantly ignoring the situation. She wouldn't even look you in the eye.
"She asked you out again, didn't she."
A whispered 'yes' cut through the silence.
You took a deep, steadying breath,
"What did you say."
Silence. Miranda returned to the book, turning the pages and making notes here and there. She never once acknowledged you, it was as if the editor shut you out completely.
It broke your heart.
"I hope having your fun is worth it."
You quietly approached the editor, making sure you didn't jostle the book in her lap, before you bent down and placed your own kiss on her forehead.
You couldn't bring yourself to say anything else. The answer of silence was an answer in itself.
Quietly leaving the study, you made your way up to your– to Miranda's bedroom and gathered your clothes into a duffle bag. You didn't want to stay here, you couldn't. You didn't know what all of this meant, it was too much for you to process, but you knew you had to leave.
~~~~~~~
A year of being together and a journalist is what comes between the two of you. A year. A fucking year.
And now, here you were, sitting alone in a hotel room for the 8th day in a row.
How easy it was for Miranda to look at another.
Throughout the week you did your best to not doubt yourself. You knew Miranda's curiosity had nothing to do with how you were as a person or a lover, but you couldn't help that little voice in the back of your head that questioned why you weren't enough to satisfy Miranda.
After the second day of being away from the editor, she started to blow up your phone. Calls on top of calls came through, even during Runway hours and Miranda never called you during Runway hours, maybe texted, but never called.
The night you left the townhouse was the last time you talked to Miranda. Even though she's made many, many attempts to reach you, you weren't ready. Those self-doubts made you hesitant to pick up any of the calls that came to your phone.
On the third day she started to get Nigel and Emily to contact you. You told Nigel what happened and he wasn't happy with what Miranda had done. Emily heard what happened the first time she had contacted you and the redhead wasn't thrilled either. Although Emily was hard to deal with at times, you knew she wanted the best for you and right now she didn't think Miranda was what's best for you. Either way, both of them knew the situation and both of them promised to keep your location underwraps.
That, in turn, caused Miranda to double her attempts (as if they weren't enough already).
She started to send gifts, flowers, anything the editor thought you might like.
When you would arrive at work, there would be a bouquet of flowers on your desk, then throughout the day more bouquets would follow. Hell the woman would send you chocolates, not the cheap ones either, the best chocolates money could buy in New York City. You started to find Roy waiting for you after work and despite your attempts of refusal, you caved in after he personally wanted to see you make it back to wherever you were staying, safely.
Every mutual friend you had with Miranda knew where you were and what had happened between you two, and each of them promised to keep quiet on the matter.
You knew you couldn't hide forever, you just didn't know when she'd finally find you.
A knock on your hotel door snapped you out of your thoughts.
Your breath hitched. It couldn't be Miranda right? You've managed to slip away for 8 days, surely you had more time.
Looking through the little peep hole, you felt your body relax before confusion passed over your features. You never ordered room service. Unless you did and just forgot about it.
You shrugged, 'Free food is free food.' You opened the door and followed the bellhop as he pushed the cart in. Taking a closer look, you found that the cart held a tray of your favorite foods with a basket of your favorite snacks.
"Um, excuse me, where did you get all of this?"
"You only deserve the best."
You whipped around and found Miranda standing in the doorway.
She looked as if she came from work. Her famously white hair had fallen out of it's usual coif and there were a few wrinkles on her blouse.
What surprised you was the fact that the usual poised editor was fidgeting with her fingers. You could practically feel the anxiety rolling off of her body in waves. It was only then that you noticed that the two of you were now alone in your hotel room.
Miranda didn't know where to start, "Y/N, I…" she took a deep breath, "I love you and I-I'm sorry for my lapse in judgement about the whole..Andréa spiel."
You watched as Miranda took tentative steps forward, gaining more confidence when she didn't get any refusal from you.
She took hold of your hands and pressed kisses to them both, "Darling, it's you. I love you and only you. There has never been a moment since you left that I haven't thought of you."
"Miranda…" you whispered softly.
She shook her head and squeezed your hands, "I need you. I should have never entertained the thought of life without you by my side. I choose you Y/N, I love you."
You bit your lip before you sent a small smile towards the editor and Miranda's eyes brightened. She pulled you into a crushing hug and she clung to you like a koala as she kissed any part of your body that was in reach: your shoulder, your neck, your hair. All the while, she whispered 'I love you's' and 'I'm sorry's' and 'Y/N' as if chanting these things would keep you two in the moment. You indulged in the love that was showered on you and you hugged Miranda back just as tightly.
Miranda finally settled to hide her face in the crook of your neck,
"How did you find me?"
Her response was muffled by your neck but you heard it all the same,
"I may have threatened Emily with the banning of cheese in the offices."
You snorted a laugh.
'Ratted out for cheese cubes..are cheese gift baskets a thing?’

Also I'll be reblogging this later with the AO3 link.
You'd tossed and turned all night. Every night without Sandor by your side was fitful. A generous quantity of wine before bed helped, just not enough. You had spent so many years comforted by your husband's warmth and sheer size that it just didn't feel right trying to find slumber without Sandor's arms wrapped around you, his warm breath and soft snores in your ear. The burly mastiff that the Clegane house had provided as a wedding gift those years ago huffed and curled up behind your knees, attempting to provide you with the company you were so sorely lacking. The pressure of the massive dog leaning into you was all that encouraged you to somnolence, as you imagined a much more substantial hound was providing you the warmth needed for rest.
***
The sharp clank of your door's lock shifting roused you instantly. The mastiff sprang to its paws and a growl rose from deep in its chest, but a heavy gauntleted hand patted the creature's head and calmed it instantly. "All right, you bloody mutt. That's a good dog."
It felt like a dream, hearing that deep rasp. It had been a dream on so many occasions since Sandor left to accompany Queen Sansa on her visit to consult Bran in the Crownlands. You'd slept so little the entire time he had been absent that it felt like a vision, suddenly seeing your husband's towering visage before you.
After shoeing your mastiff into the hall, Sandor sat down heavily before you on the bed, and discarded his gauntlets upon the floor. The moment you sat up he captured your face in large, calloused hands and kissed you with a ferocity that took your breath away. His kisses could be harsh but his lips were soft, save for the fur around his mouth that tickled you. For a lingering moment you wondered if this perfect moment was indeed just another dream.
With a low rumble under his breath Sandor pulled away, planting the softest kiss upon your forehead, before wrapping huge arms around you and folding you against his chest. If there were seven heavens then this was indubitably one of them, surrounded by your husband's warmth, the light musk of his skin, and his fingers absent-mindedly stroking your bed-befuddled hair.
"I was wondering if you were ever coming back," you jested quietly, turning your face up to meet Sandor's gaze. Your chiding words were immediately punished by sharp teeth nipping at your lips, followed by a tender kiss where he'd now left a light red mark. You clutched his thickly furred jaw in both hands, thumbs occasionally ghosting over his cheekbones, almost trying to convince yourself he was real.
Sandor leaned back, suddenly looking lost. He got like this sometimes, especially following any significant absence of you. Originally you only saw this reaction out of him when you'd stroke or kiss the marred half of his face; you'd always loved pressing your lips to that downward-drooping brow. It had bewildered Sandor for the longest, the fact that not only did you have no qualms about looking at him, you had no apprehensions about touching his melted skin. An almost tranced expression overcame his face, his thumb stroking your cheek absent-mindedly as you moved closer to him.
"I missed you," Sandor rumbled hoarsely, his wolfish gaze of his good eye dropping to your lips.
"And I love you."
"Mm. Daft as always," Sandor grunted, with his tiny quirk of a smile, before kissing you once more with fervor.
"I was going to offer you wine but you already taste like it," you chuckled against his mouth. You had long since begun to associate the deep sugary flavor of red wine with Sandor's coarsely furred lips, and you were perfectly fine with that.
"What the fuck else am I supposed to do on that ride back? Besides. The Broken King can afford Dornish red."
"Don't call him that." You gave Sandor the same puppy eyes you did when he casually insulted any of your acquaintances in the Stark family.
Sandor snorted and suddenly you were being pushed back onto the bed. "Quit your talking," he rasped. "We've got lost time to make up for."
You weren't about to argue with the huge man as his lips found your neck and he deftly undid the lacing of your dress until it loosened from your shoulders, revealing your chest and stomach to him. Looking you up and down, Sandor absent-mindedly drew his lower lip between his teeth. He looked hungry, not unlike the way he appeared when he was itching for a fight to start.
More lacings came undone and more harsh kisses and bites ensued. Sandor worked his way down your body, nipping at your collarbone then showing delicacy to your nipples - swirling his tongue around them until you shivered and tightened your fingers' grip in his hair. You loved the fact that his hands were more than large enough to entirely encompass each of your breasts in his palms, and that his mouth was deft in his exploration of your body.
It was not long before Sandor was wriggling your dress over your hips and discarding it upon the floor, before taking a moment to admire the form of his wife, drinking in your visage. He had this way of smiling at you that didn't quite reach his mouth but the crinkles around his eyes betrayed that he was pleased. He ran one large, rough hand down your side and over the sharp curve of your hip, before taking your knee and spreading you open before him.
He kissed your inner thighs delicately, starting near your knees and moving closer and closer to your core. His beard tickled you here and there but that was soon forgotten when his warm mouth reached your nub, his large tongue languidly lapping up and down your folds. One calloused hand gripped the junction where your thigh met your hip, while the other tentatively stroked your entrance, gauging how ready you were.
"Sandor, please," you breathed, and that was all he needed. Two long, thick fingers slid into you, before curving upward in a come-hither motion, stroking the spot inside you that made your eyes roll back immediately. His talented tongue swirling around your nub had you shuddering uncontrollably and tightening around his fingers, making Sandor sigh against you in satisfaction - a low noise that reverberated through your core and had your thighs quivering on either side of his head.
Your fingers twisted in his hair, attempting to gather long locks away from his face the way he would for you when your mouth was full of his cock. Gasps and mutters of his name fell from your lips as you felt shocks snaking up through your body. His fingers quickened their pace, bringing you closer and closer to the edge, as he suckled at your nub like his life depended on it.
For a moment you looked down at the tantalizing man between your legs, overcome with the fact that it was him you had managed to marry and that was pleasuring you, the Hound, that was exploring you so intimately. Years of being together had never dulled this exhilaration; had never lessened the inherent excitement of being ravished by this notoriously huge, powerful man. For a moment his "good" eye met your gaze; the other eye was too weighed down by his maimed, melted brow to see you at such an angle.
"Sandor, I'm -" Your voice cut off suddenly, unable to process the amount of sensation coursing through you.
In response he slipped a third finger into you, at which point you were certain he was not simply enjoying playing with you, he was getting you ready. "Go ahead." His rasping voice rumbling against you, and the sudden crook of his fingers inside you against that special spot was all you needed. You tightened your grip in Sandor's hair and cried out as stars burst behind your eyelids, your back arching up off the bed.
A fewmioments and Sandor sat up as you lay quivering and spent, wiping your moisture from his lips and beard. His eyes were dark with lust, and he was breathing nearly as hard as you were.
As you slowly came down from the high that his ministrations provided, you had the pleasure of watching Sandor stand and shed his layers. He was quite adept at undoing his own armor, the result of having never accepted a squire, swiftly leaving him in the loose small-clothes that were your honor to remove. You sat up, still remarkably shaky in the legs, and took the hem of his tunic in your hands. You laid a kiss upon each section of your husband's flesh that you revealed, savoring the soft tickle of the dark hair that covered the expanse of his broad chest and abdomen.
Tunic removed, you graduated down to the buttons of his trousers, teasingly avoiding the swelling you encountered. Your husband's arousal was no small thing to avoid - to your original intrigue and dismay, you had discovered Sandor was exactly as well-endowed as one would assume a man of his stature might be. You kissed the deep brown fur from his collarbone to his navel, while your hands worked on freeing him from the confines of his trousers.
Cloth slipped over his hips and Sandor sighed in relief, his stiffened length no longer uncomfortably restrained. You began laying adoring kisses on your husband's stomach, following the thick trail of brown curls from his navel to his root. A low rumble worked its way out of the huge man as you placed more kisses on either side of his cock, his warm shaft just barely grazing your cheek.
"Enough," Sandor growled, taking a handful of your hair, and once again you found yourself being gripped by the shoulder and pushed back onto the bed, though with more fervor this time. He crawled onto the bed after you, a hungry, predatory gleam in his eyes as he moved atop you.
Sandor clutched your face in both large hands, resting his forehead against yours. His breath was hot on your face and his warm member slid back and forth over your entrance, his leaking length heavy and rubbing against your nub. You squirmed a little in anticipation beneath Sandor as his tip sought your entrance.
Sandor's lips found yours again before he leaned into you, the weight of his body driving his cock home. You gasped sharply, all of you tensing as he filled you suddenly and nearly to the hilt, your fingers tangling frantically in your husband's llong hair. You couldn't blame him - he was desperate, he needed to be one with his wife after all this time, but that didn't change the fact that in his urgency Sandor was forgetting you might need some extra time to adjust to him after all these moons of his absence.
Sandor drew back, his lips exploring from your jaw to your ear. Your nails dug into his shoulders and you yelped as he bottomed out in you with the next thrust; he still wasn't even buried to the hilt. With a few insistent strokes the burn of him stretching you began to fade, or it became easier to ignore when Sandor filling you to the brim was sending shocks resonating through your core.
If you really needed convincing to ignore the short-lived pain of his entrance, Sandor sank his teeth into the side of your neck, distracting you with a sensation he knew you responded well to. The bite was sharp but sent a delicious, dull ache resonating through you as he held on, like a dog mounting its bitch. You were fully aware that this would be a blue or purple bruise tomorrow, the way his teeth were baring into you, but you didn't care. In fact the prospect excited you particularly. Few things satisfied you as much as visible reminders that you belonged to the Hound - it was your honor to wear the marks of the Clegane dog claiming you, branded in your own misplaced blood. Perhaps one day that honor would be worn as a swollen belly full of Sandor's pups.
You wrapped your legs snugly around his midsection, allowing a less overwhelming angle as his pace began to pick up rapidly. What had been relatively methodical strokes were now frantic and restless, eliciting gasps and shrill moans from you every time Sandor's cock came up against that wall deep inside you, sending tendrils of sharp pleasure up through you. Your eyes rolled back in your head and the rest of the world began to drop away, nothing existing in that moment but your union with Sandor; the musk of his skin surrounding you, the tickle of his dark helical strands falling around your face, the breath-taking sensation of him filling you relentlessly. He was absolutely intoxicating.
The force of his rutting eventually sent you over the edge again, and you cried out frantically enough that you stuffed your own fist into your mouth with celerity. Sandor immediately grasped your wrist, holding your hand captive above your head. "No," he snarled, gripping the hair of the back of your head, "let them hear what I'm doing to you." Undoubtedly referring to adjacent rooms in the castle. You whimpered against Sandor's furred lips, unable to control your body tightening around him convulsively, drawing from him his own climax. Sandor took your throat between his teeth with a low snarl as he suddenly spilled into you, his warm seed filling you to the point of overflowing.
You kept your legs tightened around your husband's waist as he loosened his teeth on your flesh and rested his damp forehead against the swoop of your shoulder. You were unwilling to experience the absence of him within your body just yet. Sandor's cock still pulsed and twitched, his breath ragged on your neck, as your insides milked the last few drops out of him.
A small whine escaped you as Sandor withdrew slowly, settling beside you on the bed and collecting you to his chest. You nuzzled against the soft curls of his collarbone and gently entwined your legs with his. "I love you," Sandor rumbled sleepily, resting his chin atop your head.
"Welcome home, love." You laid a languid series of tender kisses beneath his jaw, though Sandor was already snoring softly, arms still clasped solidly around you. You smiled against his chest, and it wasn't long until you fell into the only peaceful sleep you'd found in fortnights.

What do you think about iruka’s alpha coming into the picture after he’s adopted naruto already?
@queenondeezmatatas : Omg monarch I was just thinking, let’s say that iruka adopted naruto when naruto was around 3 or 4, and then when his alpha comes around when naruto is around 12 like in the anime, and they start getting together etc. I can imagine iruka getting worried about letting this person into his family and everything that comes with that, so when naruto expresses his approval of this alpha that iruka really likes he’s just like🥺🥺 and imagine some time later, the first time naruto calls you his parent as well🥺🥺ugh I’m soft🥰🥰🥰
(Hmm, well let’s say Naruto was adopted when he was 8, because that’s when Iruka would have turned 18 and been able to adopt him legally, and now he’s just turned 12, but yes, this is a very interesting idea! Iruka absolutely gets worried about everything to do with this and it's so cute! Let’s see!)
The main difference is that Iruka is a lot more cautious when dating or courting any alphas if he already has custody of Naruto because he knows how the general population feel about him. No one is meeting Naruto for months at least, they aren’t allowed anywhere near Iruka’s house, and Iruka will put up with no disparaging remarks about Naruto, none at all.
But let’s say that everything has been going amazingly between Iruka and a new alpha. This alpha is perfect for Iruka is every way, and, from their discussions at least, they seem to have no problem with Naruto.
But Iruka is still terrified of introducing them. Because it’s one thing to not say anything bad about Naruto to Iruka's face and it’s another thing to help raise him. Iruka is so in love, and he doesn’t want to lose this alpha… But he will if they can’t handle Naruto. Naruto is his first priority, always.
Much sooner than he’d like, the fateful meeting day is upon him.
He’s inviting his alpha over to his house for dinner for the first time (to eat takeaway Ichiraku ramen because Iruka’s cooking sadly leaves much to be desired), and Naruto is joining you both after he’s finished his D ranks for the day.
…
You watch as Iruka nervously plates up the takeaway ramen into fancier dishes and tries to set the table for three. He’s already dropped the cutlery multiple times and smashed a glass in the sink.
“Iruka, here,” you say, taking the next batch of cutlery out of his hands and moving to carefully start setting the table. “Don’t be nervous, everything will be fine.”
Iruka gives you a shaky breath and a smile.
“I know, I’m just…”
“Nervous?”
“Yeah,” he laughs. “That. It’s just that Naruto wasn’t happy when I told him I was courting someone, and I don’t want him to be upset or feel replaced or anything. He hasn’t said it in a long time, but I know he’s often worried that one day I’ll get tired of him and abandon him.”
You finish setting the table before you step forward and pull Iruka into an embrace.
“He sounds like a good kid,” you say firmly, rubbing your thumbs on Iruka’s hips. “And I’m sure we’ll get along just fine. And don’t think I haven’t noticed how nervous you are about how I’ll react to Naruto, too.”
Iruka jumps, blushing somewhat at being called out so directly, but before he can defend himself you hold up a hand to stop him.
“I don’t blame you for being nervous, ‘Ruka, I think it’s admirable, and not to mention sexy, how protective you are” you reassure and Iruka hits you lightly on the arm for the sexy comment. “I’m just trying to let you know that you have nothing to worry about, I’m not so closed minded as to blame a child for events that happened when he was a baby.”
“I know, I know, I’m just…”
“Nervous?”
“Shut up.”
…
Dinner had gone better than expected. Iruka’s idea of distracting Naruto with ramen had worked like a charm at lowering his defences and allowing for Iruka’s son and the person who he hoped would one day be his mate to start bonding.
Things weren’t perfect, Iruka could tell that Naruto was nervous about being replaced by this new person, and he’d never been the best at sharing Iruka’s attention (it had made the teaching Naruto’s class at the academy something of a challenge at times.)
But Iruka was now sure of his choice in alpha. They truly were perfect!
They had spoken to Naruto with only the kindest and most patient of voices, they had understood his boundaries and never pushed them, they didn’t hold the Kyuubi against him, and they appeared to be both dedicated to helping raise Naruto and also respectful of Iruka’s final say as Naruto’s father. They had taken every one of his concerns about them and obliterated them from his mind.
Iruka felt giddy.
He just had to make sure Naruto was feeling okay after everything this evening. He had been pretty enthusiastic in the middle, eager to have the attention and affection from someone new, but when he’d walked in on Iruka and his soon-to-be alpha kissing goodbye in the doorway, some of the enthusiasm and left him and Iruka couldn’t figure out what was going on in his head.
…
“Hey, you ready for bed?” Iruka asks softly, stepping into Naruto’s bright orange room without so much of a wince (practice after many years.)
“Mhmm,” Naruto hums affirmatively. He’s laying on his bed in his pyjamas, half-heartedly packing up his weaponry ready for training tomorrow.
“I know that must have been a lot,” Iruka tries to bring up this evening carefully as he perches on the bed next to Naruto. “How are you feeling?”
Naruto shrugs but Iruka can see that he has something to say.
“What is it, Naruto? You can tell me, this is your home too, you always have a say,” Iruka says, hoping beyond hope that Naruto hasn’t decided he hates Iruka’s partner.
“Will you get mated?”
“I-“ Iruka hesitates but tries to answer honestly. “Probably, if you’re okay with it and everything goes well.”
Naruto considers that answer for a moment before continuing.
“And then you’ll have pups, right? That’s what people do when they get mated, Sakura-chan said so.”
“It’s what some people do,” Iruka gently corrects. “And… I’m not sure yet, maybe, maybe not. Is that something you would want? A sibling?”
“They’d be my sibling?” Naruto asks, surprised. “But I’m…”
“You’re my pup, Naruto, that’s what you are,” Iruka says firmly and with no room for argument. He pulls Naruto in for a hug and Naruto immediately accepts the affection. He had always been a tactile person, and hugs were a good method for calming him down. “Any other children I may or may not have will be equally as important as you, and I will love them just as much as I love you, no more and no less.”
“Do you promise?” Naruto asks, voice muffled by Iruka’s shoulder. Naruto grips the back of Iruka’s shirt tightly in an effort to elongate the embrace.
“I promise,” Iruka says fiercely.
Iruka holds to embrace, wanting to let Naruto decide when to break it. And he doesn’t for several minutes, so Iruka just rocks him slightly, stroking his hair and placing kisses on the top of his head. Naruto’s insecurities are not unexpected, but they still break Iruka’s heart every time he’s confronted with them.
“Okay,” Naruto says eventually, pulling away from the hug a little. “Then I approve.”
“What?”
“I approve,” Naruto says again, firmly and with a determined glint in his eyes. “They’re nice and they like ramen and they… they make you smile and I’m going to be going on long and dangerous missions soon to protect princesses, so I won’t be able to make you smile all the time. They can do it for me.”
“Oh, Naruto,” Iruka can’t stop his eyes filling up with tears as he pulls Naruto back in for another embrace. His pup was so selfless and caring, how did he get so lucky?
“It’s okay, dad, don’t cry,” Naruto rushes to reassure, but apparently it’s the wrong thing to say because the second Iruka hears Naruto say ‘dad’, the tears double.
“I love you so much, Naruto,” Iruka says tearfully. “More than anything else in this world, you know that?”
Naruto laughs tearfully.
“Me too, dad, I love you more than anything.”

“Y/N-chan!!!”
You cringe in embarrassment as soon as you hear that awfully familiar and cheerful voice, you could barely remember this man and the events that transpired the night before but here he was, acting like your new best friend. You weren’t even sure if you wanted to go here but you needed clarity. Surely you didn’t just legally marry a man at an Izakaya out of all places last night?
“Oh, you actually did marry him.” Gojo Satoru proclaims as soon as you take a seat across him, he gestures around his face, “I could tell by your whole, ‘I hope this guy is messing with me’ face. You have it, signed and sealed. Even got the cute matchy rings that I had one of my assistants delivered.”
You pale at the thought of his assistant coming in with a silver ring. Wasn’t he sober? How could he not have stopped you two from doing something as reckless and stupid as this? Weren’t older men supposed to be more responsible than this?
“Why the hell didn’t you stop us?” You groaned, burying your face in your hands, embarrassment painted all over your features.
“I was just as drunk as you two.” He confessed, scratching his head, “probably even more drunk but anyways back to the topic in hand, I only remembered it when the same assistant came in and congratulated me about it. It’s good I had your number on my phone before you two bailed.”
“So you don’t really remember?”
“Bits and pieces.” Gojo grinned, this guy was a maniac, how did the serious man you met just this morning have friends like this? You probably wouldn’t even last long, “I did call Nanami-”
He’s cut off by the rough sound of someone pulling a chair out, you immediately jump on your seat when you realize it’s Nanami Kento, the guy from this morning. The man you had recklessly married!
“This better be some prank you’re pulling, Satoru.” His voice was anything but kind that you almost wanted to hide behind Gojo’s back.
“Hey, hey.” Gojo raises his hands, “Don’t look at me. I didn’t force you into anything and stop scaring your poor little partner.”
Nanami snaps his gaze towards you and you notice how his eyes soften just a bit when he sees your red ears and your eyes looking away from him, “You better call Geto and fucking fix this, I refuse to bother this young-”
“It’s fine.” You cut him off, still shy and red, “It’s...fine...I just…Please don’t think I’m burdened by it. It was technically my fault for even agreeing immediately.”
Nanami clenches his jaw and turns away, “Nevertheless. L/N-san’s young. I hope to not be such an uncouth man like you.” he retorts, voice sharp as he eyes the white-haired businessman up and down. Gojo, seemingly used to it, rolls his eyes behind his dark shades.
“Maybe you guys should try it out.”
The blonde man looks like he’s about to smite the white-haired man out of existence yet Satoru remains oblivious to his friend’s gaze, “Don’t ya think so? It will take a while for those divorce papers to settle in so why don’t you two go out and get to know each other? Who knows…” he sing-songs the last part and Nanami is so close to chunking his briefcase towards the tall businessman, not even caring
“Ah, he’s not exactly wrong, Nanami-san.” you try to calm him down, placing a small hand on his broad shoulder.
“Don’t tell me you’re actually listening to this idiot’s idea.” Nanami replied, gaze narrowing.
“Not really but you have some problems I can help you out on and I have problems that you can help me out on...Of course, the last say is on you...”
“Told you I actually had a brain.” Satoru piped in.
“Shut up, Satoru.” he quips, then turns to you, “I’m thirteen years older than you, L/N-san. I have two high school kids that could pass off as your siblings, and-”
“Well, I technically did marry you.”
“You were drunk.”
“Doesn’t exactly really excuse it.” You laugh nervously, “The whole divorce process usually lasts up to a few months, some even takes a whole year. I could help you out with the boys and I can use you to ward my family off from moving back home.”
Nanami is quiet for a moment, actually thinking about it. Weighing the pros and the cons, not only would you be able to help him out but you’d also be able to get Gojo and blind-dating out of his back.
There really wasn’t anything he could loose, really.
“Or you two might fall in love.” Satoru teases, making Nanami throw him another side-eye, as if saying ‘I dare you to say another word.’
It’s a Thursday today and Sukuna absolutely loathed Thursdays apparently because it reminded him of Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. They all were far from the weekend Everyone seems to be happier than usual though. Maybe it was because you were there teaching some basic shit at the board or something.
“...and if we transfer this here and change the positive to a negative, you’ll end up having five as your answer.” You smile, placing your chalk down, “Does anyone have any questions?”
Echoes of no’s resonated throughout the room.
“Alright then, let’s end the lesson here so you guys can have an early lunch. I don’t think an assignment is in order since many of you were able to get a perfect score in the activity awhile ago.” You winked. A couple of whoops resonated throughout the whole class right after.
As the kids shuffle out of the room of the class, Sukuna remains behind. The ojisan had cooked them something delicious this morning and he wanted to eat it in peace without that pesky Nobara grabbing a share from his bento and Yuuji’s annoying babbles about horror movies with his best friend Junpei (the only one who was really bearable was Megumi, really)
“Sukuna-kun?” you called out, snapping him out of his small trance, “Are you alright?”
He notices a glint of worry in your eyes, he had to admit since his transfer here last Monday, you were the least annoying teacher in the academy the blue-haired professor in Japanese literature was absolute shit since he loved to tease him a lot and that bald-headed teacher in science who looked a lot like Mike Wazowski was an annoying twerp who loved dawdling in him and Yuuji’s business and you were kind of good at your job. Not only did his idiot of a brother stop coming to him and their ojisan for help in math but he could actually do the worksheets right and get an actual decent grade at it.
“Yeah.” he roughly replies.
“That’s good.” You smiled, he watched as you bind their worksheets together and clip them in utmost delicacy, “You should head to the cafeteria now, I heard they’re serving milk bread today.”
Without saying anything more, you left the room, leaving him there in the silence.
Well, the Christmas tree idiot was right.
You kind of had a motherly aura on you and it didn’t even look forced.
No wonder, everyone in this room was whipped for you despite your subject being a pain in the ass.
“You look like an idiot.” You mumbled as you slapped Mahito’s hand away in annoyance, your workmate wiggling his eyebrows like the little shit he is.
You completely forgot you did have someone like Gojo Satoru in your life and it was one of your co-workers, Mahito, a Japanese literature teacher who was too nosy for his own good.
“You’ve got a ring on your ring finger and a mailman comes in and gives you an invite for Zen’in Toji’s fortieth birthday.” he whistles, “Even Jogo-sensei gossiped by the water cooler awhile ago, saying that you had eloped with the man. Not that I’m judging you or anything...”
You choke on your saliva, clearly thrown off by the backhanded comment. That darn bald-headed fool that looked like the green eyed monster from the DreamWorks cartoon, he sure needed to lay off the gossip and actually focus on his job as the head of the science department, “You’re not denying it.” Mahito stated, narrowing his eyes in suspicion, “Why aren’t you denying it?”
“I’m not dating Megumi-kun’s father.” You grumbled, finishing up your paperwork, “That man is off limits.”
“Right,” he drawls on sarcastically, “...because you have a strict rule against dating hot older men with money.”
“I also teach his kids and his cousin…” You deadpan.
“We don’t even have a rule against that.” He retorts, rolling his eyes, “If we did, Hanami-sensei would’ve been fired a long time ago.”
“You’re an asshole.”
“And you’re so secretive. If it isn’t Toji Zen’in, who’d ask you out?”
“Hey, I do have a man.” You huffed, “and he’s very kind and considerate...”
The image of the tall and lean man sleeping next to you slowly wormed its way back from your memory and you feel your cheeks start to flush. Good god, what were you? twelve? How embarrassing.
You needed to get that image off of your head, it wasn’t right.
It was all temporary, anyways and he doesn’t even see you in that sort of way-
“Yes, I’m Sukuna and Yuuji Itadori’s guardian…” a very familiar stoic voice could be heard from the nearby table, cutting your thoughts short. Wait, were you so head over heels for the man that you started imagining him here? Yuuji and Sukuna’s guardian? Wait a minute.
All color drained from your face as you snap your head behind you to find the same man you were imagining.
Oh no.
Oh no, indeed.
There stood Nanami Kento in all his glory; crisp suit, stoic face, and eyes laced with mild worry.
“...L/N-sensei is Sukuna-kun’s adviser, by the way. It would be best to discuss this with them.” Akari somberly informed the man, turning to your direction. You don’t miss the shift of expressions when he sees you standing there.
Your mouth parts and you know you look like gawking fish trapped in a small aquarium.
“Akari-sensei’s looking at you with the new hot daddy.” Mahito mumbles next to you, eyeing him up and down, “Definitely wonder where all these old men come from these days.”
You were only half-listening to your co-worker because your head was all over the place, just what were the odds that he was the guardian of the new transferee’s? Just how awkward would everything be? Why did it even have to be at this school out of all places?
Never ending questions pop out of your head as you approached them, “Good afternoon, Nanami-san.” Your smile comes out very stiff and awkward while you hold your hand out for him to shake, clearly there was no memo on how you were suppose to act around your sort-of-fake-husband-whos-kids-you-actually-taught.
Nanami reverts back to his stoic expression as he clears his throat, “Yes, good afternoon to you too, L/N-sensei.” he greets, maintaining a straight-laced tone.
“Akari-sensei says that Sukuna has been quite...rude...in class…” you try to rack your brains up to describe his kid.
“Your son literally pointed out that the history lesson I was teaching was fake and that I should study again so he could get his tuition’s worth.” Akari looks clearly perplexed and ready to throttle the boy if it was legal. You had to admit, Sukuna went overboard with that insult.
You knew how passionate Nitta was about her job and what Sukuna just said to her was like a big ‘fuck you, you suck.’ to her.
“I’ll be sure to talk to him about this,” he sighs, bowing down, “I’d like to ask for forgiveness for that, the boy is a good and smart student-”
“Nanami-san, the school not only cares about grades but character as well.” Akari Nitta sighed, cutting him off, “I’ll let this slide once, if he does that again, it goes on the record.”
You internally bit your cheek, still trying to process everything that was going on.
“I understand. Thank you for that.”
“I’ll walk him out, sensei.” You immediately say soon after, wanting to have some alone time with him, “Let’s go, Nanami-san.”
You walk right next to him silently, some students peerlessly glancing at the tall blonde next to you but you were too immersed in thought to notice the stares, “Nanami-san?” you ask softly as soon as you reach the exit.
Nanami Kento looks at you, his eyes still laced with a bit of worry, “It’s okay.” you silently comforted him, “Just talk to him calmly.”
“That’s not the problem.” he sighed, “I just didn’t expect that the person I married would be the boy’s teacher.”
You sweat drop, “Aren’t you worried about talking to Sukuna? I mean, he literally just disrespected a teacher and you said that he and you weren’t in good-”
“It’s easier to talk to him about that rather than…” he paused, showing his ring, “this.”
You blinked.
Seemed like Nanami knew what to say about the little attitude problem his son had, “So you must be used to this?” you asked, “Him disrespecting the teacher?”
You notice the shift of expressions on his face, you had only known this man for a few days so far but he was starting to get easier to read. His eyes shed more emotion than his face, no wonder he likes wearing those funny sunglasses a lot.
“It’s something I’ve scolded him over a couple of times,” he gruffed, trying to dance around the subject, it seemed like he had such a soft spot to the point where he had a problem with disciplining them, “At times I believe it’s just because he’s way too smart for his age. The boy has read history books for fun when he was a kid and solved quadratic equations to prove that he’s better than me when he was ten.”
“It still doesn’t give him the free pass to say things like that to a teacher”
“I know,” he acknowledged, “I’ll be sure to give him a better scolding-”
“No, you see. This is why he thinks he can get away with it. He isn’t afraid of you. You’ll only probably tell him that you can’t do that.” you frown, crossing your arms, “You do know that not all sensei’s are as nice as Akari-sensei and he could get in trouble for that even more in the future, right?”
Silence lingered between you two for a moment and suddenly you realize that you must’ve said something way off the rails.
“I..” you turn red, embarrassed by the sudden outburst, “That was too much, wasn’t it?”
You look at him directly in the eye, the worry-filled ones are now replaced with a softer gaze. God, he really needed to stop looking at you like a kid. It would only make this set-up more awkward!
“No,” he mumbles, “It...It wasn't too much…”
“Oh.” you cleared your throat, flustered and looking away from his face, “Well, okay then goodbye then Nanami-sa-”
You needed to get out of this conversation quick.
“Kento.”
Your gaze snaps directly towards him, clearly taken aback by the correction.
“What?”
“We’re technically married now, right?” he softly corrected, “Call me Kento.”
“Oh,” You uttered again, this time softly. You looked down on your shoes, it seemed like the floor looked really interesting now, “Then bye-bye, Kento.”
“Bye Y/N.”
He leaves you standing there, cursing yourself because of your erratic heartbeat at the way he says your name in that voice. First name basis? okay, totally normal for sort-of lovers, right?

“I'm scared I'm going to spend the rest of my life in a state of yearning, regardless of where I am.” - Melina Marchetta
———
08:00
It happens slowly then all at once. He knows he feels lighter, physically, before he’s fully conscious - can’t feel the warm weight of you on top of him. He frowns as he slowly awakens fully, feeling for your body next to him.
When all he feels are sheets, he comes to, a little quicker, opening one eye to look around. When he doesn’t see you, he figures you left to go to the bathroom but a piece of paper on your pillow catches his eye.
He frowns as he sits up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes when the doorbell begins to ring incessantly. He looks between the door, the paper and then the door again, tucking the note underneath his pillow to come back to later. He takes a cursory look at the clock -
08:00
He runs downstairs with a grin, thinking maybe you went out to grab coffee and forgot you didn’t have a key, but when he opens the door, icy shock runs through his veins.
“Hi, Aaron.”
“Haley?” He replies stunned. He glances behind him, increasingly alarmed now as to your whereabouts.
She averts her gaze from Hotch’s half naked form, it’s nothing she hasn't seen before but there’s a barrier between them now. Even with what she’s about to tell him.
“Can we talk?”
“-This…. isn’t really a good time.” He replies, glancing behind him again. He uses his body to block what lies behind him, clothing littering the floor as evidence of last night. His cheeks run hot when he realises Haley already spotted it all.
“We need to talk. I wouldn’t have shown up like this, but she told me to come by at 8. Said I should talk to you.”
He frowns. “Who?” He asks, despite hazarding a very good guess he already knows the answer.
“Look, can I just come in? I'm really cold and this is incredibly awkward.”
He sighs, “Yeah- yeah come in.” He steps aside to let her in, picks his shirt up off the floor and begins to button it as he invites her to sit.
Haley tells him that she managed to track you down outside your apartment yesterday. His jaw ticks and he runs his thumb over his bottom lip, agitated. “Why would you do that?”
“I figured I owed her an apology. Ultimately I was the one who put her in danger with-” She licks her lips. “With him. I thought we should talk.”
“So you resorted to stalking?” He paces. He can’t figure out why you’d ask her to come by now, especially if you were going to spend the night last night.
“I know, I’m sorry.” She looks sick. “I kind of knew that you felt something for her, and I figured she probably did too. Clearly I was right.”
“I’m not doing this with you.”
She throws her hands up. “No! No, that's not what I meant. I need to tell you something but before I did, I needed to tell her, I owed her some courtesy after everything at least.”
He tilts his head and his eyes narrow. “Get to the point.”
She pulls out an envelope and slides it across the coffee table. She breathes shakily, nodding at it. “It’s all in there.”
He watches her quizzically, confused at her demeanour - she’s never been one to be at a loss for words. He takes a seat opposite, studying her as he peels open the envelope.
A sliver of cold panic works its way through his veins as he scans the page.

“What the hell is this?” He asks, his voice barely above a whisper.
She swallows thickly, abetting her gaze. “It’s a paternity test. I’m pregnant.” She tells him quietly.
His chest tightens and his head starts swimming. “What? I don’t believe you.”
“It’s right there on the paper. It’s yours.” She looks like she’s holding back vomit, the colour on her face drained. She studies Aaron for any kind of a reaction but he still looks confused.
“I want another one.” He tells her waving the paper. “How far along are you?”
“3 and a half months.”
“Wait,” He winces as the cold realisation hits him. “You told her?”
She nods.
The colour drains from his face and he shoots up from his seat, remembering everything he’d told you yesterday about how he would do things differently if he ever became a father. Knowing now what you knew then, he can’t begin to fathom what must have been going through your mind yesterday.
He shoots up the stairs three at a time, hoping he’s not too late.
———
06:00
Your eyes burn with the lack of sleep and the aftermath of your breakdown. You lay still against Aaron’s chest, your hand splayed flat against his skin. You’ve been watching him sleep for most of the night, memorising all you can about him, and imagining an alternate future where you could’ve ended up together.
But it doesn’t help. All it goes is drive a stake deeper into your heart because no matter how much you imagine, it doesn’t change your future. The sun begins to rise sure enough, a promise of another day but the lighter it gets, the more your stomach turns and the tighter your chest gets.
You pull Aaron in closer one more time, fusing your body to his and you close your eyes. His hands run down your bag gently as he stirs in his sleep. You take a minute to take him in one last time, despite your aching heart you try to hold onto the happiness you’d felt before it all came crashing down.
You doubt you’ll feel for anyone the way you feel for him. But you can’t be selfish, not now. You whisper to him, barely audible, the words you need to get off your chest and with a gentle kiss to his sleeping face, you slink out of his arms.
You gather your clothes, and from the credenza drawer downstairs, grab a pen and paper.
‘Dearest Aaron…’
Tears stain your face as you initial the bottom of the letter and with a final breath, you fold it and scrawl his initials on top. You reluctantly walk back upstairs and when you see Aaron’s peaceful face in a deep sleep, it takes everything in you to walk away. You place the note on your pillow, and turn away before you change your mind.
But as you approach the door, you turn to take one last look at him, willing your memory to hold on to this image, to the feel of him. To what it feels like to be loved by him.
“Goodbye Aaron.” You whisper.
———
08:30hrs:
He struggles to get his pants on, throwing on odd socks and grabbing the note on the pillow which he stuffs haphazardly into his three day old jacket. He runs down the stairs three at a time, passing Haley on the way as he grabs his keys.
She looks at him with panic and confusion. “Go back to the hotel, I’ll call you!” He tells her. She looks around, stunned as the door slams shut behind him.
He fumbles with his phone, dialling your number, but it goes straight to voicemail. He tries Emily but it goes to voicemail too. He dials the direct line to your assistant and on the last ring, she picks up.
“Agent Hotchner?”
“Leah?”
“Yeah? Is everything okay?”
He desperately asks if she has any idea of where you are today, if you have anything on your docket.
“Not that I can see, no. Is everything okay?”
“Look, can you find out if she’s home and call me?” He hangs up and purposely turns on the sirens to weave through traffic to your place. In a cruel twist of fate, he curses the numerous traffic logs he encounters on his way, thinking he’ll deal with the fallout of using his lights without reason later.
He finally turns onto your street, tires screeching as he pulls up behind a blacked out towncar, into which an older gentleman appears to be hauling suitcases. He doesn’t bother closing the door as he exits his SUV, his eyes trailing on the suitcases being piled into the trunk of the towncar when he hears your voice.
He stops in his tracks.
“Alright, James. I think that’s the last of the b-”
The air leaves your lungs when you catch sight of him. There’s a brief moment when you think you think you’re imagining him but your chest squeezes when you look at his face, halfway between confused, devastated and just plain betrayed.
He utters your name with a shaky whisper. “What is this? What’s going on?” He asks unsteady, already knowing the answer.
You hand your bags to James who ducks between you to receive them, the tension thick and heavy. “I’m sorry, I planned on…” You struggle for the words. “Being done earlier than this. This is what I wanted to avoid.”
He retreats, eyebrows shooting up. “This, what? You wanted to avoid saying goodbye to me? You couldn’t even extend me the grace of telling me you were leaving?” He pulls out your note from his pocket, shaking it in front of you. “You left this and thought it would be enough? After everything that happened with us.”
“Come on, Aaron. You know that’s not what I meant. But you know why I’m leaving, it’s why you’re here. And I knew you would do this, I knew you’d try and talk me out of going. That’s why I didn’t tell you.” You swallow the lump in your throat.
The desperation inside him starts to claw at him. “You don’t have to leave. We’re adults, we can figure this out.” He takes both of your hands tightly in his.
You shake your head. “I won’t put you in that position, I know how important this is to you. I won’t put myself in that position either.” He opens his mouth to oppose you but he knows as well as you do that this is the end. “I can’t believe I’m going to say this but this was easier when I had a stalker, all I had to worry about was making it through the day without being murdered. But things are real now, you have a career and a family to worry about, I have to go to college. I guess we just didn’t think this through.”
He retreats slightly, a hurt expression on his face. “That doesn’t mean it was wrong.” He says, quietly. “I told you I’d wanted to be with you for a long time, and I meant it. I don’t regret any of it.”
You cup his cheek. “Neither do I. But we both know what needs to happen. I can’t stay.”
He caresses your hand on his cheek with bereft eyes. “You changed me, you know?”
You laugh dryly. “With your gig at the BAU? Forget it, you’ll be saving people left and right.”
“You know that’s not what I meant.” His voice cracks. “I’m just sorry we couldn’t have more time. I think this could have been something.”
“Did you read the note?” He shakes his head. “Wait until I’m gone to read it - you don’t have to. But if you ever find yourself doubting or second-guessing who you were to me - who you are to me? You should read that. It has everything you’ll need to know.”
He brings his forehead to yours, glassy eyes watching you with so much affection you think you might just break. “Can we stay here? Just for a minute? I’m not ready to let you go yet.” He asks.
You nod and loop your arms around his neck, tiptoeing to reach his height. He hugs you back with ferocity, face burying in the crook of your neck as he takes you in, memorises the way you body slots against his, how you smell and feel. He presses his eyes shut, willing his brain to commit every last feeling to memory, terrified that there may come a day when he no longer remembers how he loves you.
You muffle your sobs as best as you can, clutching at the material of his shirt, and the small tufts of hair at the nape of his neck. Try as you might, when you close your eyes, all you can see is a reel of your relationship with Aaron, spanning from the moment you met to now.
All of it comes rushing back: the gazebo, your apartment, numerous late night coffees and dinners, his face in the cabin, the hospital and of course, the nights and days you spent in bed. The pond, the balcony, the laughter. The love. You feel a hole consuming your chest and you struggle to breathe, cursing yourself for falling in love with the one man you couldn’t possibly ever have.
James beeps from inside the towncar, and you reluctantly loosen your grip on Aaron, sniffling as you let him go. It feels infinitely harder to detangle yourself from him now, like tearing a bandage off of a raw wound, but you know you need to go.
And so does he.
His eyes are watery when you look at him, yours mirroring his heartbreak. “I guess this is it.” He rasps.
You clear your throat. “Yeah. I guess so.”
“Can I kiss you goodbye?”
You nod solemnly. His hands cup your cheeks lovingly, wiping away a stray tear. He leans in, and presses his lips to yours for the last time. He takes his time, allowing himself to linger in the moment, and convey everything he can in this kiss without having to say it. Wants to remember how soft your lips are and the way you taste.
Your tears fall steadily now, your own hands tangling in his hair. You selfishly wish you could stay here, throw away any and all integrity just to keep him for yourself. But you both have things to do, futures to live.
You break the kiss, forehead resting against his. His hand cradles the back of your head, and he presses a tender kiss to your forehead, lips lingering before he finally lets go.
You fish in your pocket and take his hand in yours, dropping your key into his palm. He looks at you quizzically. “Keep it, give it to the super, I don’t mind. But lock up for me?” You ask him.
He nods, closing his hand around yours, a desperate attempt to keep you close for a few more fleeting moments. He presses a desperate kiss laced with finality on your lips as you release yourself from his embrace.
Watching you reach for the car door sends him into a tailspin. You’re just about in the car when you hear him call your name. His voice is strained. “Listen, I just- before you go. There’s something I need to tell you.” His face is contorted with desperation and his voice laced with something utterly heartbroken.
You know where he’s going with this. You weren’t sure if he felt it until now, horrible fucking timing, but it’s still something.
“Don’t. I know what you’re going to say, Aaron. Please don’t.” You sob. “This is already one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, please don’t make it harder. I know what you’re going to say. But before you do… just please don’t?” You plead.
He swallows thickly, choking back tears, too. “I do, though.”
You breathe through the hole in your chest. “I know, Aaron. I do, too.” Your smile is bitter as you open the car door and step inside gingerly, keeping your eyes on the sidewalk where he stands. He walks over to you, tangles your fingers with his briefly before cradling your chin, wiping another stray tear.
“Maybe in another life?” He whispers.
“Maybe in another life.” You tell him with a sad smile.
“Goodbye, sweetheart.”
I love you.
“Goodbye, Aaron.”
I love you.
He watches the car peel away longingly, muttering aloud the words that he’d whispered two nights ago when he thought you were asleep.
“I love you.”
———

Your car pulls up to the airstrip forty-five minutes later and you can hear the deafening engine of the plane before you even step out of the car. You place a $50 in the hand of the man who opens your door for you, throwing a quick thank you his way as you obscure your puffy eyes with a pair of sunglasses.
You offer the men loading your luggage a small smile and hand them their tips, before boarding the plane. You spot Emily on the far left side of the plane, her face buried in a copy of Mother Night.
When she sees you, she shoots up from her seat, throwing her book onto the table in front of her. “Oh my God! You came! Hi!” Her good arm wraps around your neck for a hug and you stiffen against her. “What made you change your mind?” She asks.
You close your mouth just as soon as you open it when the curtain dividers open.
“Darling!” Ambassador Prentiss emerges from her office, behind a divider on the plane. She has a phone receiver against her chest, you assume to muffle her voice to whoever is on the other end. “Emmy and I are so glad you decided to join us, we’ll be taking off in around 15 minutes.” She tells you, glancing at her watch.
You shoot her a polite smile and thank her, and she looks between you and Emily, excusing herself back to her office.
“I’ll let you girls catch up.”
Emily leads you to the seat opposite her, her face now showing signs of concern. She watches your face for an answer but when nothing comes, she asks outright.
“What happened? I thought you were going to stick around and see what happens? You had a date right? Her words scratch your skin.
“Date’s off.” You swallow.
Her eyes widen. “What? Why?!”
“His ex is pregnant and it’s his.” You reply nonchalantly, rapidly blinking back tears behind your sunglasses.
Her mouth drops open. “Holy shit! Are you okay?”
“I’ll be fine.” You reply, gazing out of the window.
Emily watches you in shock, unsure of what to say. She can tell by your demeanour that you’re in shock but she can’t do anything except hold your hand and tell you she’s sorry with a quiet voice.
“Yeah.” You sigh.

09:00
When he keys open your apartment door, he’s hit with an eerie silence, a heart wrenching emptiness. He attempts to turn a lamp on but the electricity has been turned off, leaving the living room cold and dark.
His mind fills in the spaces between the emptiness, picturing you sitting on your couch, or on the bar stools around your island. Can hear the incessantly loud TV, and your laughter from your room.
Your room is just as empty too, a few stray clothes hangers remain in the wardrobes and when he turns to look out at your balcony, he swears he sees your shadow outside. He makes sure the doors and windows are secure and makes his way back to your living room, the entire experience harrowing, like walking through a graveyard of memories.
His legs give out as he walks back to the living room, sinking onto the couch. A picture of you catches his eye on the side table next to him, the same one he’d caressed gently when you’d been taken by Jordan. He’d thought then, that was the worst moment of his life, had he known what was to come, he’d have reserved his judgement.
He swallows the lump in his throat as he gently brushes a finger over the glass, unable to keep the tears from coming now. He wishes with everything you could have stayed, can feel it deep within him that you’ll keep a part of his heart for years to come. Then he remembers the note.
He opens the folded paper with trembling hands.
‘Dearest Aaron,
I sit in your living room right now, struggling for the words to write but I can’t seem to come up with anything that truly encapsulates how I feel. How I’m incredibly sorry to have to leave like this, how I wish with everything in me that I didn’t have to, I wish this could have ended differently.
I want to say thank you. You may not know or understand this, but for all the good and bad, you truly changed my life. I met you during the darkest and scariest part of my life, when I had nobody - when I was all alone. And in you came like a light and protected me fiercely, taught me everything I needed to save my life. You did that.
You saved me.
You changed me.
Despite the circumstances, we did have something, a friendship, maybe the start of something more - something real. Don’t ever doubt that. The last two days were two of the best of my life, a fitting reward, I thought, after everything I’d been through. But I couldn’t let you talk me into staying, because I know you, and you would have tried, told me that we could’ve worked something out - and it would’ve been selfish of me to stay.
I want you to know that I am so incredibly happy for you. This wasn't an easy decision, but I’m leaving of my own choice. I have no doubt in my mind that you’ll be an amazing father. That child will be loved and oh so lucky to have you and your warmth as a father. I know how much this means to you, how important it is for you to give your child a better life than the one you and Sean had.
And you will.
Thank you for everything you did for me, thank you for saving me over and over again. Thank you for teaching me to be brave, and for coming into my life. My hope for you is that you’ll build a wonderful life with your beautiful little family and achieve everything you’ve ever wanted and more.
You’ll change the world one day.
Know that I will always have a special place for you in my heart.
I’ll never forget you.
All my love.’
He swallows the burning in his chest. Two days were all he had with you and he stupidly saw himself able to imagine a future with you, could imagine loving you for the rest of his life - but then he’d been in love with you long before you’d asked him to stay.
He winces as something digs into his chest and he reaches for his inside jacket pocket until something cold makes contact with his fingers.
His heart stops, molten lava running through his veins.
Your necklace.
He grips it until the sharp edges of the pendant feel like they’re about to puncture his skin.
Maybe he wasn’t destined for peace, for love. The love that he wanted. Maybe a happy ending wasn’t written for him and he’d have to make peace with that. At least he had the memory of your face burnt into his brain, the smell of your hair, the sound of your laughter.
That finite part of you would get him through eternity.
———
20:00
You’ve rejected every meal you’ve been offered by the staff aboard the plane, instead choosing to down Emily’s bottle of red wine. It eases the heaviness in your head, that’s true but the ache in your chest still remains.
Emily’s since drifted off to sleep, her book laying open against her stomach, meal half-eaten. You stare at the blinking lights of the plane and the clouds below you until everything starts to blur.
You love him. He loves you. That much is true. You never had believed in the concept of the right person but the wrong time, how could you? If the person was right, the timing would surely be inconsequential.
That was until you met Aaron.
In this life, in the grey harsh reality, after everything you had been through with him, the simple fact that two people love one another pales in comparison to the bloody reality of commitments, matters of the mind and sacrifice.
He loves you and you love him. It just isn’t enough.
He aches for you and you ache for him. But it’s still just out of reach.
Your hearts aren’t your own anymore. But you have to go on anyway.

Amoreena | Chapter Six
Chapter Six
main summary: Heaven is a real place and it's located exactly 14.6 miles away from the FBI, Quantico Headquarters. Off behind a small park, under a fantastical willow tree surrounded by wildflowers, in every colour young minds can imagine.
Don't forget, heaven also comes with angels.
Chapter Warnings: slight smut** angst, spencer's overthinking and anxiety, passing out, plot twist, very understanding reader, happy ending, smut implied but not graphic
word count: 6.2K
from the beginning <3
Derek and Savannah planned to come over on Sunday morning to introduce Hank and Amoreena, his namesake and his honorary daughter meeting felt very important to him.
Y/N and he spent the morning cleaning up the house, making sure all the books were away and the coffee was on so when they pulled in at 11 for brunch they’d be ready.
Amoreena was beyond excited at the idea of a 16th cousin, not knowing about Henry or Michael yet either, bringing her total to 18 cousins.
Spencer learned something new about them and the farm every single day he was there. Which he expected, it had been 8 days and he was all but moved in. They joked just that morning about them moving too fast, shrugging it off and living their lives anyway.
Derek and Savannah were one of the sweetest couples Spencer knew. They had a love he admired, it also blossomed fast and stayed strong through everything Derek went through.
Derek was always going to be his rock, someone he loved deeply and cherished more than he could ever explain to anyone. More than a brother, a long-lost lover, a confidant, his best friend in the whole world. If he could live through everything he’s been through and still be happy, so could Spencer.
Amoreena is out the door and meeting them before Y/N and Spencer are even aware they pulled in. “Hey little lady, I’m your uncle Derek,” he can hear Derek’s sweet voice that he only uses with kids.
They walked out onto the porch to see Amoreena shaking both their hands before asking if Savannah needed help carrying her purse. Ever the little helper, she intended on making the best introduction to her new family members.
“Spence, this place is amazing!” Savannah gushed as she pulled him into a hug, and then Y/N, “It’s lovely to meet you.”
“You too! You’re all so pretty, holy cow,” she swoons, “what does the FBI put in the water over there?”
“Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s running off over here too,” Spencer compliments Y/N right back.
Derek gives Y/N the biggest hug he’s ever seen, “you are my new bestie, anyone who loves Reid as much as me is a keeper.”
“I like this one, Savannah you have good taste,” Y/N teases, holding Derek in her embrace.
“We got the best guys the bureau had to offer and stole them away,” she laughed, wrapping an arm around Spencer as they turned to see Hank.
“Well, someone had to put them to good use,” Y/N had an arm wrapped around Derek too, slipping into Spencer’s life effortlessly.
Hank was almost 5, it blew Spencer’s mind to think that Derek had been a father for 5 years now. He was the sweetest little guy, holding Amoreena’s hand as the two of them walked up the stairs.
They had sandwiches and muffins in the garden, everything was homemade and grown on the farm. It was a life Spencer was excited to get used to, they even made their own cheese and wine in the summer for the farmers market.
Every time he learned a new detail about this place it got more perfect.
Hank loved the goats, he crawled right in with Amoreena and sat down in the mud. Petting the babies and letting all the mamma goats nibble at his hat as they got close. He giggled and screamed, petting all of them nicely as Amoreena told him all their names.
Derek was very quick to pick out a cowboy hat and pretend he was southern, trying out his fake accent and making Savannah laugh as they explored the farm, skipping through the fields and kissing in the grass. They were just as in love as Spencer and Y/N, they all got along like couples who have been friends since college.
Like this had been their life all along, nothing about it felt new. It just felt right.
Everything about her fit into his life like she was handcrafted for it, picked and polished before set in a box and hidden away from the world. She was a collector's item and he was a collector, keeping her close and never letting her go. He knew her worth, but the feeling she produced in his heart was better than anything in the world.
Before they know it, it’s almost 3 and Hank is about to fall asleep in the grass as Amoreena reads him a story. Derek and Savanah are laying back on a blanket half-listening as they watch the clouds. Spencer and Y/N doing the same.
It’s wonderful, he makes eye contact with Derek while running his fingers through Y/N’s hair. He just smiles at Spencer, prouder he can even express.
“I think it’s about time we head out,” Derek cuts into the peacefulness of their day.
“We’ll be back, and often,” Savannah laughs, “I’m going to hide here from the hospital, you don’t have service right?”
“Not if you turn it off and leave it in the car,” Y/N laughed too, pulling Savannah into a hug and walking with her towards the house. Best friends in the making, it was going to be trouble for him and Derek, exciting, but frightful at the same time.
Savannah excuses herself to the bathroom before they leave, Spencer offers to help Derek carry his tired little toddler to the car so they can talk. He was excited to hear Derek's thoughts about the day, proud of the life he could introduce them to.
“Can I ask you a serious question?” Derek finally cut into their quiet walk to the car with a very serious tone.
“Sure,” Spencer nodded vigorously, a little nervous.
“Do you remember when we lost that bet in 2008?” Derek started, “JJ and Emily were saying it wasn’t fair, that we were hogging all the sexiness and smarts and we should just donate sperm to help the population?”
“Yeah?”
“Did you actually do it?” Derek watches Spencer’s mind wandering as he recalls everything.
He has donated sperm twice in his life, keeping it between him and Derek the first time, telling no one about it the second time. The first was when JJ got pregnant with Henry, teasing him that he should make more geniuses in the world. Emily was even considering having a baby on her own back then before everything with Doyle went down.
The second time was after Maeve died in 2013 when he realized that he might not ever get to actually be a dad.
Donating again purely in the hopes that in 18 years someone would find him in search of a connection with their birth father. It seemed like the only way he’d be able to be a father one day, and that was right around the time Amoreena would have been conceived if she’s 7 now.
Spencer looks at him with wide eyes, “you think she’s mine?”
“Without a doubt,” he whispers, stopping to put Hank in his car seat and give Spencer some time to panic.
“She’s not mine,” Spencer keeps shaking his head, so hard that Derek is worried it might fall off as he panics, “she can’t be, that would be insane. No way, no I’m not even going to pretend she is. Nope.”
Derek places his hand on Spencer’s shoulder to calm him, “do you know who her father is?”
“No,” he whispers as he closes his eyes, pushing his hair out of his eyes. “She tells people that Amoreena is her fiancé Stephens, no one really questions that she had her 2 years after he died, but Y/N doesn’t even know who her father is.”
“That’s a serious conversation you need to have with her, regardless, she deserves to know you’ve possibly got other geniuses walking around out there.”
Spencer felt his anxiety dump adrenaline into his blood, making him sweat and panic as he turned around in circles a few times. He looked physically drained, not know what the fuck to do moving forward.
“I can’t go talk to her right now while Amoreena is there,” Spencer panicked as Derek finally closed the door, Hank was all situated and ready to go.
“I can bring you home?” Derek offered, “go get your things and tell her that you have to go.”
“Okay,” he whispered, trying to calm down enough to face her.
Walking back up to her house felt like it took forever, even passing savannah as he all but ran, stepping inside the house to see Amoreena reading on the couch while Y/N was in the kitchen, whistling happily, waiting for him to come back.
Amoreena looked up at him with a smile, “are you okay?”
“Oh yeah, I’m fine,” he lied with a fake smile. “I actually have to go, Derek needs help with something at his place and I’ll be back later for dinner, okay?”
“Awe,” Y/N’s voice travelled from the kitchen to where he was, she walked into the room with an apron on and a towel in her hands. “I was hoping you’d help me make a pie.”
“I’m sorry, hun, I’ll be back soon,” he assured her, “I love you guys.”
“Love you, Dad,” Amoreena smiled, before returning to her book.
Every time she called him dad it made his heart stop, but that one made his breathing stop too, he struggled to swallow as he turned his attention to Y/N approaching him.
Y/N gave him a big hug and then he was gone, running down the driveway and hopping in Derek's car as fast as he could. Still overthinking everything, his mind memorizing every look on Amoreena’s face and trying to see if there was any proof in her being his.
There was a lot. He didn’t want to get his hopes up, he didn’t want to think about that at all. She was his regardless, no DNA test would change how he loved her. He was more afraid of Y/N’s reaction to finding out.
Savannah didn’t ask what was going on, leaving him and Derek to be as weird and cryptic as they always were together. Looking out the window quietly as Spencer had a panic attack in the back seat.
He convinced Derek to drop him off at the clinic where he donated the sperm both times. Still absolutely pissed off with himself that one of the biggest decisions of his life was the one he forgot about, wanting to know if he could find out anything about his potential offspring.
“Sir, I’m so sorry,” the nice receptionist tried her best to stay calm as Spencer rushed through his dilemma.
“Only a child can learn who their father was when they turn 18, if they choose to contact you it’s up to them. You agreed to that when you donated.”
“You can’t even tell me how many kids I have out there?” He tried to reason with her, “I’m in the FBI surely you can make an exception for me it’s not like I'm going to stalk the kids, I just want to know if one’s going to contact me one day,” he tried everything to get her to open up.
“What’s your name?”
“Spencer Reid.”
She stood and walked into the back, opening a cabinet full of records and pulling one out. She opened it, running a finger along with the document as she read it over.
“You have four offspring so far, none of the other samples used have produced a child, the women were all IVF as well so it wasn’t your swimmer's fault; if you wanted to donate again,” she read him all the facts and somehow it just made him panic more.
Y/N’s voice echoing in his mind, “after I did IVF.” She said those words. He heard them. She didn’t know the father. His name wasn't on the sample. It was anonymous. Everything caught up to him at that moment.
“Thank you,” he whispered, white as a ghost as he tried to turn away, dropping to the floor and passing out instead.
When he woke up, he was somehow back in Derek’s car on the way back to his apartment. Hank and Savannah nowhere to be seen, the radio on low as Derek paid attention to the road. It was quiet, he didn’t even know Spencer was awake again until he sighed.
He didn’t say anything to Derek, instead, taking out his phone and texting Y/N.
Spencer: Hey, something serious came up. I won't be able to come back till after bedtime and then I need to tell you something important that might make you very mad at me.
Y/N: you’re going to make me go grey being this ominous
Spencer: I’m sorry, but it’s going to be a lot to explain.
Y/N: should I get wine or something harder ready to listen?
Spencer: Honestly, I’m not even sure yet.
Y/N: cant wait… love you?
Spencer: I love you too, don’t forget that!
Y/N: as long as you don’t either ♥︎
—
He pulled up to Y/N’s house at 9:30, knowing that Amoreena would be well asleep by then. Unbothered by any crying or yelling that could arise from the news he had to share with her mother.
He was terrified to tell her but he needed to. Relationships only work with communication and he knew that, respecting her and loving her enough to do anything in his power to keep her in his life.
He walked inside to see the lights all off, heading around the back of the house to see her in the garden with a drink, surrounded by little lights twinkling as she listened to her favourite Taylor Swift album, he wasn’t shocked in the slightest to find her like that.
“Hey,” he announced himself to her so she wouldn’t be startled.
Her smile warms his heart and clears the butterflies from his stomach for a quick moment, “hey cutie, did you want me to warm up some dinner for you?”
“No thank you,” he shook his head softly, standing by the gate and not wanting to get too close. “I need to tell you something and you might get really mad at me.”
“Alright,” she sat up straighter, hands on her knees as she played with the material of her jeans.
“I donated sperm as a joke in 2008, but then again in January of 2013 when my girlfriend died because I thought it would be the only way to maybe have a kid find me one day when they turned 18. I never thought I’d get to have a family after Maeve died,” the words fell out of his mouth and onto the patio.
“Oh my god,” was all she said, eyes wide and mouth open, she was completely still.
“I went to the clinic and they won't tell me who my kids are, apparently there are four of them so I have no idea if it’s Amoreena or not and I’m just so sorry for not telling you. I honestly forgot, and I don’t normally forget. After everything that’s happened to me, I just forgot, I’m sure it looks like I found you on purpose or something but I assure you that I didn’t,” he wasn’t sure why he was just dumping all these thoughts on her when he hadn’t even thought them through, but they wouldn’t stop.
“There’s only one way to find out,” she shrugged then, smiling at his confused face. “We have more and see if they look like her.”
“You’re kidding?”
“No,” she shook her head, “I’d never joke about making another Amoreena, that would be amazing.”
“You’re not mad?” He blinked at her a few times, wondering if he heard her wrong, twice.
“Why would I be mad at the fact that you might be her real father and the reason she’s the smartest person on earth? She’s literal walking sunshine, am I supposed to be mad you could give her fully biological siblings? I wanted your babies even if she wasn’t yours,” Y/N paused, eyebrows raised as she made her point.
“If I’m supposed to be mad about you completing our family then I’m furious,” she laughed as she stood up, walking over to wrap her arms around him.
“Even if you’re not her father, you’re always going to be her dad,” she whispered as she reached him.
He looked down into her eyes, the most beautiful and caring woman in the world, cuddled into his chest in the middle of paradise. He couldn’t help but laugh, it was insane how easy it was to love her.
“I love you,” he reminded her.
She pulled him down into a kiss, holding her hand on his cheek lightly as he pressed his lips to hers. She rested her forehead on his as they parted, “I love you more.”
“Doubt it,” he teased her with a smile, pulling her in closer and lifting her up into his arms.
“Where are we going?” She giggled.
“Where would you like to go, Princess? This is your kingdom after all.”
The biggest, most suspicious grin appeared on her face then, “put me down,” she instructed and he followed. Setting her down and feeling her grab his hand instead.
She led him inside the house and up the stairs, placing her finger over her lip to let him know to be quiet. She pulled him inside her bedroom for the first time and he was absolutely mesmerized.
It was like a jungle of books in there, pictures of her and Amoreena all over the walls and the cutest mushroom bedsheets in the world. It was like he walked into her mind, it was calming and beautiful and just what he imagined.
Peaceful.
“We’re not staying in here,” she whispered towards him, pulling him into the closet.
She pulls out 2 black garment bags and places them on the bed before looking through her jewellery box. She brings back a small velvet box and places it in his hands.
“Would you want to do something insane with me?”
“Always,” he can’t help but smile.
“My grandma always wanted Stephen to propose to me with that ring, but he used his own mothers instead,” she whispered. “I don’t want to have an official thing, I already planned one wedding and never got to have it.”
“Okay?” He tried his best to follow along, analyzing her facial expressions to see just how nervous she was, as well as the underlying sadness of time missed. Just like she had mentioned that first night he stayed here.
“I had my grandma’s dress tailored to wear at my wedding, I’ve never put the final version on,” she unzips the one bag, revealing a silk white dress with an incredibly long train.
“My grandpa's suit is in the other one, I think you will fit into it,” she reaches out a hand to pull him closer to the bed and look at it with her. “I just want to put them on and tell you I love you in the field and just call you my husband. I don’t give a single shit that it’s been a week, why should I wait a year to call you that when I can start now?”
He doesn’t know what to say, he’s speechless for too long and he knows that it’s making her anxious but he can’t speak. His eyes turn glossy and his hands shake as he holds the small box in his hands, opening it to find a beautiful ruby on a gold band, surrounded by small diamonds, alongside her grandfather's gold band.
He gets down on one knee then and she pulls him right back up to his feet, shaking her head. “It can’t be like last time, I don’t want to repeat a single part of it. I can’t lose you too.”
“You never will,” he’s finally able to speak. “I’m not going anywhere, believe me, you are the most important person in my life. I would drop everything and hide here forever to keep safe, if you wanted me to, I’m too in love with you to go anywhere.”
She smiles at him with wide eyes and the glimmer of hope returning. She picks up her dress and heads to the bathroom door, “put the suit on and meet me downstairs?”
“Yes Ma’am,” he winks at her before taking the suit down the hall to his room.
He notices the wedding photo on the night table again, taking the suit out of the bag to see nothing really changed since the last time it was worn. Her grandfather was tall and skinny like him when they got married, so he fits into the 1950’s suit almost perfectly.
He straightened everything out in the mirror, making sure he tucked the ring box back into his pocket before quietly tiptoeing back down the creaky wooden steps.
Y/N wasn’t done yet, he could hear her walking around in her room softly as she paced from her dresser to the bathroom over and over, most likely trying to find something in her jewellery box and looking in the mirror more than once. She didn’t sound nervous, her feet weren’t hesitant, she sounded like a woman on a mission, that was a good thing.
He was the nervous one, scared out of his mind with the fear he wouldn’t do this right. That she had dreams, plans and expectations he needed to live up to and what if he couldn’t? He put his face in his hands and tried his best to push all the fears away but they kept swirling. Making his brain hurt, he didn’t want to fuck anything up with her. She was already so understanding and wonderful, she’d given so much to him already he can’t fuck this up—
And then she’s walking down the stairs. Like sunshine; parting the grey skies as the thunder clouds dissipate and the rain washes down the streets, he’s fine again.
“You look beautiful,” he whispers.
Her smile was priceless, “thanks, cutie, I’m so glad it fits you!”
He followed her towards the kitchen where she picked up the phone, dialled a number and waited, “hey mom.”
“Spencer and I are going on a late-night walk, outback, yeah, Amoreena is asleep, can you just keep an eye on the house? I’m going to let Rufus in to keep guard anyway,” Y/N explained over the phone, agreeing and humming to whatever her mother said in response. “love you too, thanks."
She let the dog in like she said she would, handing the overly friendly golden retriever a treat before finally pulling Spencer outside and towards the barn.
They were both in running shoes, it was incredibly adorable for the occasion and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Her hand was so soft as she tugged him along behind her, her dress and hair blowing in the wind as they walked.
She grabbed an old kerosene lantern from the barn, lighting it quickly and holding it by the handle, “you ready?”
“I am,” he smiled softly, still anxious in his core, more so now because he was overly excited to be spending the rest of his life with her.
They continued to walk down past the barn, through the cow pasture and finally entering a clearing. It was full of lilacs and ragweed, yellows and purples blowing ever so gently back and forth under the moonlight.
“This is where my grandparents would read to me, and where they renewed their vows when I was 14, and this is where I got the call that I was pregnant with Amoreena. It’s a very special place to me,” her voice was barely a whisper.
Spencer took the lantern from her and placed it in the grass, it illuminated the both of them just enough that they could see each other's faces and know exactly how much they loved each other without even having to say any words.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Spencer’s words were careful, he didn’t want her to think he didn’t either.
She nodded softly, “I loved Stephen very much, I don’t think I’ll ever stop, but I loved him enough to know he’d want me to be happy, he’d really like you and don’t tell him this but I think I love you more than I ever loved him,” she made light of a very heavy subject.
Smiling at him like he was the world, he fully believed her. “I thought Maeve as it for me too before she died, I was so, so wrong. Every day I discover a new level of love for you I didn’t think possible the day before, I never want to stop searching for how deep my love for you goes.”
“To new adventures,” she whispered.
“And happy endings,” he replied, remembering the conversation they had about the Disney characters they loved the most just yesterday morning.
He removed the box from his pocket, opening it and taking her ring out of the fabric. The tiny diamonds around the ruby sparked in the light, shining little rainbows over their faces as they smiled at each other once again, cheeks aching from all the happiness.
“What finger do you want to wear it on? Seeing as we’re doing this our way,” he compromised for her very easily.
“The middle one on my left hand, you?” She asked as she took his ring out as well.
“The ring finger,” he whispered. “I want you to be close to my heart forever.”
“Okay,” she whispered back, pushing the ring onto his finger first before placing her hand in his, waiting for his hands to stop shaking so he could put it on her.
He pushed it right back towards the knuckle, holding her hand in his after and just staring at the ring. He just married the woman of his dreams.
“Holy shit,” he whispered to himself, making her laugh.
“What?”
A tear trickled down his cheek as he tried to smile at her, his jaw wobbling as he tried to stay calm but he couldn’t, he let himself cry softly as she cupped his face with her free hand.
“I love you too, Spencer,” is all she said, pressing her lips to his, finally.
He held her there in his embrace, lips touching as they breathed each other in. The smell of the field and the flowers that were once so strong in his nose, now he only smells her perfume, he almost forgets where he is as they kiss. The world could have stopped and he wouldn’t have ever known, too caught up on loving her.
He doesn’t pull away when the kiss breaks, instead, resting their foreheads together as they breathed.
“I’m going to love you until the day I die.”
She brushes their noses together softly as if to agree, “give me at least 40 years with you, and then I’ll meet you in heaven?”
“We’re already here,” he whispers, “you and Amoreena are my angels.”
They kissed again, just as soft and perfect as before. She smiled at the end, pulling back and taking her cellphone out of the dress pocket that he didn’t even know was there.
She set it on the fence post that separated the cows from the field, making sure it was steady and setting a timer. She rushed to Spencer and pulled him back into the same kiss, letting the phone take a burst of photos for them to remember later on.
“Pick a song,” he whispered into the moment, seeing her face scrunch as she became confused. “We need a first dance, I know your grandparents had to have danced out here at least once if she loved music as much as you say she did.”
“I love you,” is all she can say as she beams a smile at him. Skipping over to her phone and doing just as he asked.
“I need a piece of Amoreena in this moment,” she explained her song choice, making him think it would be the Elton John song, but it wasn’t.
A beautiful piano balled played before he heard the all too familiar voice of Taylor Swift, the girl's favourite. “Seven, because that’s how many years it took for us to find you.”
He takes her hand again, twirling her around before pulling her body into his. The both of them holding on tight as they swayed to the song, it fit every single aspect of his love for her to a T. Like it was Taylor made for them.
“Sweet tea in the summer Cross your heart, won't tell no other And though I can't recall your face I still got love for you Your braids make a pattern Love you to the Moon and to Saturn Passed down like folk songs The love lasts so long,”
It was so unbelievable. She had mentioned the love she felt for Stephen, he mentioned his love for Maeve, both of their faces hard to bring to memory as they fell in love with each other. A new feeling, a happier love, a long-lasting one that wasn’t nearly as flimsy. Powerful and strong like the earth's gravitational pull, he was never leaving her.
She’s singing the words ever so softly beside his ear, her voice is softer than Taylor’s and his favourite thing he’s heard all night, but he’d never tell her that.
They kiss randomly throughout their dance, listening to more songs as they swayed in the evening breeze. The cows coming to the fence to see what was happening, they twirled and dipped and jumped with each other, it was perfect.
She pulls him in for another kiss and she is all giggles, high from the dopamine and serotonin rush they were both on. Like someone injected sugar right into his veins, he was unbelievably sweet on her.
“We’re you serious?” Spencer whispered against her lips before she can pull back any further and disrupt the courage he felt.
“About what? I’ve said a lot tonight,” she teased him gently.
“About having more kids?” His voice is low and his eyes can’t meet hers as he prays she was being honest.
She nods softly, “never been more certain, actually, I would have 10 more of your kids if they’re all as perfect as our Amoreena.”
Our.
He tilts his head to the side and presses his lips together in a tight smile, he lost all control of his tears a while back, feeling them slip down his cheeks as he took everything in. She had given him everything and then some.
“How are you this perfect? It’s been 8 days since I laid eyes on you and you’ve managed to make every single dream come true, while simultaneously creating new dreams I never imagined I’d be allowed to have. You’re the best thing that has ever happened in the world Y/N, I’m so incredibly in love with you I could scream right now,” he is more passionate than he plans to be, she stares at him with more lust than happiness this time.
“Prove it and make love to me, you said you’d rather fuck me at home. Well,” she kept teasing him opening her arms and twirling around as she showed off the farm. “This is your home now, husband.”
“Where should we go?” He felt adventurous, willing to take her against the fence if the cows wouldn’t eat her hair, the thought alone making him giggle to himself.
“What?” She can't help but giggle right back.
“I thought about fucking you against the fence for a hot second and then the intrusive thoughts kicked in and I thought about the cows eating your hair,” he admitted with a fierce laugh.
“I love you so much,” she shook her head and sighed, the same way she did at the museum when Amoreena made her laugh.
That was all the proof he needed. Never would he question how she felt, if she loved him half as much as she loved Amoreena then he was blessed by far. This was over the top.
He picked up the lantern then, handing it to her as well as her phone before picking her up bridal style and attempting to carry her back to the house. He made it to the barn before she begged him to put her down, wanting to skip the rest of the way with him.
Giddy as all hell, the two of them snuck back into her house. Rufus, the best guard dog in the world, was passed out on the couch and didn’t even move as they walked in. Locking the doors and windows for the night before tiptoeing up the stairs again.
Luckily, Amoreena’s room was on the opposite side of the house from Spencers. Y/N pulled him down the hall and inside the room, lightly closing the door before leaning back against it and sighing.
“Are you sure? I never asked you what you wanted,” Y/N whispered.
Spencer just shook his head and slipped out of his suit jacket. “All I want is to have a big happy family with you, where ever that takes us, I’m up for the adventure.”
Y/N was the one who teared up this time, looking away from Spencer and at her grandparent's wedding photo on the side table. She walked past Spencer, brushing her hand against his arm as she did so, picking up the photo and kissing it softly.
She turned it face down and turned back to Spencer, “help me with the zipper?”
He nodded, silently stepping forward and brushing her hair off her back, freeing her from the dress. He pressed his lips gently to her sun-kissed shoulders, surprised by the array of freckles, kissing the pattern they made on her skin as she let the dress slip to the floor.
He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her from behind as he continued to kiss her neck and shoulder. She hummed into the feeling, tilting her head to the side so he had more room to explore, her hands cover Spencers as she felt up his arms, still in his embrace.
She had the softest skin on earth, he could spend the next 14 hours kissing every square inch of her. It was all perfect and he wanted her to know it, “get on the bed,” he whispered in her ear as he pulled away.
He picked her dress up off the floor and put it on a hanger from the shirt he had on. She watched with soft eyes as he hung it on the back of the bathroom door, keeping it safe and taken care of while they became a married couple.
He slipped out of the tie and started unbuttoning his shirt, she laid back against the covers, pulling her grandma's quilt off and folding it at the end of the bed. She laid back and waited as he slipped his pants to the ground and finally joined her once again.
She met him halfway for a kiss, holding his face as he knelt between her spread legs, she leaned back and took him with her. He hovered then, barely touching her as she leaned forward to keep kissing him, eventually wrapping her arms around his back and pulling him down.
Skin to skin for the first time ever.
It’s slow and explorative, they take their time as they enjoy every single inch of each other's bodies. She’s soft and perfect, she fits in the palm of his hand like he’s always been holding her. Moulded for her and her alone.
He’s never made love before. Sure, he’s had sex but never in his life has it felt like this… no, this was perfect. It was everything he’s ever dreamed of and then some. Her kisses felt like dreams coming true, her touch so light it was like sunshine on a hot day, just dancing over him.
It was perfect.
He brushed her hair behind her ear, still inside her, as he took a moment to just look at her. Her eyes were hypnotic, he was so dawn into her it was like she controlled him. He kissed her gently on the forehead, “I love you,” he reminded her, for the millionth time that hour.
She pulled him in closer, breathing against his neck gently as they continued. Her nails on his back were amazing, he felt the sharp pain of her grip which only excited him more, fastening his pace, both his hips and where his thumb was pleasuring her between their bodies.
She looked like she was floating, relaxed as she laid against the sheets, blissed-out while she took it all in, panting airy nonsense as she got closer and closer.
She was quiet, they both were. It was silent as possible while they made love for the first time ever. She was everything in the world to him and then some, he couldn’t believe she was real as they both finished and managed to somehow get closer to each other.
Another level of love was just unlocked in his heart, he was never going to stop loving her. That would be the only impossible known to man.

Note: This is fictional and doesn’t include reference to Cillian’s real children and wife.
Dublin to Birmingham
Just six weeks ago you and Max moved in with Cillian and things couldn’t have gotten much better between you.
Whilst you both took this step out of convenience and fairly early on in your somewhat fresh relationship, you were both happy and comfortable with your decision.
Max loved having Cillian’s children around and Cillian was slowly becoming like a father to Max, something he had never experienced before. He treated Max the same way he treated his own children and, sometimes, you wondered how you got so lucky. Even you and Cillian’s ex-wife had managed to build a reasonable relationship and, when Cillian wasn’t able, you would sometimes drive to her house to pick up his two sons. The age gap between you and Cillian didn’t bother her once she learned how you interacted with the children and once she met your son Max.
As far as your relationship with Cillian was concerned, you loved having each other’s company on a day-to-day basis. You often cooked together, took long warm baths together and played board games with the kids. But, most of all, you loved spending nights together in the same bed. It was not only romantic but comforting for you to have the man you loved by your side every night until quite recently.
Unfortunately, just as you settled into your new home, Cillian had to travel to England to begin filming the next season of Peaky Blinders.
This meant that you were going to be on your own for three weeks with Max before you would see him again in Birmingham, which is where your parents lived.
Whilst filming didn’t actually take place in Birmingham, Cillian was meeting you and Max there over the long weekend to finally meet your parents. It was your father’s birthday and, unfortunately, he wasn’t too fond of your relationship with Cillian.
Initially, you didn’t share much with your family other than the fact that you were living with Cillian and that he shared care for his two children with his ex. Furthermore, your parents had a problem with the age gap between you and Cillian after your father asked how old he was.
Your parents considered that age and the fact that you had three children between you might become an issue if you wanted more children of your own. You knew that Cillian didn’t want any more children and at this point, neither did you. Things were perfect the way they were and you hoped that your parents would accept your relationship once they saw how happy Cillian made you.
But, little did you know that, your parents would give him a much harder time than necessary when they first meet him.
On the Friday evening, when you arrived in Liverpool with Max, you were excited to see your parents. But, you were even more excited to see Cillian who you were meeting at the airport.
You had hired a car to drive to your parents’ house together. That way, you could drive back to Liverpool on the Monday with Cillian for another few quite days between you while your grandmother had planned to take Max back to Dublin.
In her opinion, you and Cillian were in need of some time together without kids. Unlike your parents, she adored Cillian and supported your relationship.
As you and Max got out of the plane and entered the terminal, you could see Cillian waiting for you from far away. He couldn’t be missed wearing the Thomas Shelby haircut and, unfortunately for you, other people recognised him as well.
But, he didn’t seem bothered by the fact that people were starring at him and took you into his arms before giving you a kiss as soon as you and Max approached.
He then proceeded to give Max a hug before offering you help with your bags.
‘Nice haircut’ you chuckled as you ran your hand over the back of his head.
‘Funny’ he smirked as he took your bag and walked with you and Max to the car.
You knew that he hated getting his hair cut with this style and couldn’t help but tease him.
‘I just love that I will get to meet your entire family while having this ridiculous haircut’ Cillian chuckled.
‘Trust me, at least three of my cousins get their hair cut the same way. You won’t be noticed as the odd one out’ you laughed.
‘Great, if I put on the accent, no doubt I will blend right in, eh?’ Cillian chuckled.
‘Well, you can stay in character over the weekend if you want’ you laughed before giving him another kiss as you arrived at the car.
‘You know, I really missed you’ you said with a warm smile as you sat down in the driver seat.
‘You are driving, are you?’ Cillian smiled before telling you that he missed you also and giving you another even longer kiss than before.
‘Yikes, can you stop this’ Max said with some embarrassment. He had gotten to the age where he thought that kissing was disgusting and girls were silly.
After you both chuckled about Max’s comment, you were on your way to Birmingham.
While you were driving, Cillian exclaimed that he was nervous about meeting your parents after they were already disapproving of your relationship.
What he also didn’t know that you never mentioned to your family what he was doing for a living. Unless your grandmother told them, they might be lightly surprised. But, the topic had never come up after, every time you and your father talked about your relationship, you ended up hanging up on him when he started to argue with you.
Nonetheless, you reassured Cillian that your parents will come around once they met him and see how happy you are together.
The Moment of Truth
After an almost 2 hour drive you finally arrived at your parent’s house.
‘Hi darling, how are you?’ your mum said as she hugged both you and Max at the same time before introducing herself to Cillian.
‘You must be Cillian. It’s nice to meet you’ your mum said as she shook Cillian’s hand.
‘Likewise, Mrs Y/LN’ Cillian responded with a warm smile just as your father walked through the hallway and greeted you and Max.
‘I am Y/N’s father’ he said somewhat sternly before shaking Cillian’s hand.
‘Cillian, nice to meet you’ Cillian said politely.
‘I figured. Now come on in’ your father said as it was rather cold.
Your mother was quick to disappear with Max and you quickly instructed her to give him too many lollies before dinner.
‘He looks somewhat familiar’ your father exclaimed to you while Cillian closed the car just as your youngest brother came walking through the hallway to approach you.
He immediately noticed Cillian and looked at him with some surprise.
‘No fucking way’ Brendan said all of a sudden while his eyes widened, causing him to receive a nudge from your father.
‘Language Son’ your father said firmly, causing Cillian to chuckle before he introduced himself.
‘I know man. Me and my friends love Peaky Blinders’ your brother said before introducing himself to Cillian.
Your father looked at your brother with some confusion until it clicked and he realised that Cillian was, in fact, part of the TV show he had been watching occasionally with your brother.
Your sister soon approached you as well and greeted you with a hug. She also introduced herself to Cillian. You had spoken with her about in him on several occasions previously and there was no surprise. Nonetheless, her first question was whether Cillian could introduce her to Finn Cole, causing Cillian to laugh.
After some introductions and small talk, your father showed you to your respective rooms and it became evident to you that he had arranged for you to share a room with Max while he had allocated a separate room to Cillian.
‘Dad, that’s a joke, right? You do realise we live together?’ you asked, while Cillian remained quiet about the situation.
‘And yet you aren’t married, so you will not be staying in the same bedroom at my house’ your father said, causing you to take a deep breath.
‘We should have booked a bloody hotel, that’s ridiculous’ you said.
‘Fine by me’ your father said before walking off.
‘Y/N, it’s two nights and Max hasn’t seen his grandparents for a while. We should stay for him, yeah?’ Cillian said quietly and you nodded reluctantly. As usual, Cillian was comforting and loving despite your father’s dislike for him.
‘I am so sorry Cilly, I don’t know what his problem is’ you said.
‘It’s alright Y/N. He is just being protective of you and that’s a good thing. I am sure he will come around’ Cillian said as he took you into his arms.
‘I know. It’s just that I am 25 years old and cannot sleep in the same bedroom as my boyfriend. It’s so ridiculous’ you said somewhat upset. After all, you wanted to be with Cillian desperately, share a bed together and possibly have some intimacy.
‘I know’ Cillian chuckled before giving you a gentle kiss.
‘I cannot wait another two nights to be with you. It’s been three weeks since we slept together last and the Skype thing is really not the same’ you said suggestively as you ran your hand over his crotch hoping that no would walk through the hallway and catch you.
‘Y/N, stop. I don’t think your father would appreciate it if he saw us like this’ Cillian chuckled trying to push your hand away.
‘I tell you what, I will come to your room after everyone goes to sleep. Just for a bit’ you smirked trying to reach inside his pants, causing Cillian to get fidgety and laugh at the same time.
‘That’s a bad idea Y/N’ Cillian chuckled.
‘Why is that?’ you asked before telling Cillian that you have needs.
‘Firstly, this is your parents’ house and I do not want to disrespect their wishes. Secondly, you aren’t exactly quiet when we have sex and, thirdly, you told me on the way here that you forgot your pill the last couple of days when you stayed with your grandmother in Galway’ Cillian said.
‘Well, you will just have to pull out in time’ you winked, knowing very well that he had exceptional self-control after you found yourself in the same situation the previous months when you forgot to take it. After that, it had gotten to the point where Cillian reminded you to take it as you weren’t exactly consistent and somewhat forgetful, which also made you schedule a doctor’s appointment in two weeks to discuss other options in so far as contraception was concerned.
Just as your quick conversation with Cillian was nearing the end, your mother called out to you both to tell you that dinner was ready.
‘Coming’ you yelled out as you removed your hand from the inside of Cillian’s pants.
‘Thanks…gotta hide that now’ Cillian chuckled as he rearranged his pants so that his erection would be hidden beneath the large jumper he was wearing.
You giggled and both made your way to the dining room.
Dinner Interrogations
During dinner, your father managed to step out of line completely when he asked Cillian whether he always dated women much younger than him.
Luckily, Cillian remained polite and answered his question regardless of its inappropriateness.
‘No. In fact, I was reluctant about the age difference between us at first’ Cillian exclaimed.
‘Well, I was just asking since, with many actors, that’s the norm, dating women half their age’ your father said.
‘It is?’ Cillian asked surprised, causing you to laugh but your father didn’t appreciate the sarcasm.
The conversation soon escalated and Cillian excused himself and offered you to put Max to bed so that you can catch up with your sister and mother.
It was obvious to you that your father and Cillian didn’t see eye to eye and Cillian tried best to remain calm and keep the peace for your sake.
He joined you and your family again after putting Max to bed and, by that time, your father had received a lecture from your mother and was up to his second glass of wine. Things went much more smoothly thereafter and your parents also excused themselves at 9pm to go to bed.
Cillian went on to have a shower before giving you kiss and returning to the room that was assigned to him. He knew you would join him shortly. After all, he knew you well and he found it rather difficult to deny you especially when you were aching for him. You were a rather sexual person and demanding when it came to intimacy.
And just like this, after you had a shower and checked on Max, you sneaked into his room wearing nothing but your panties.
Cillian was lying in bed with a novel, wearing his Calvin Klein briefs and reading glasses. The beside table lamp was dimming the room nicely and his muscular chest was highlighted by the shimmering light.
‘Good Evening Professor’ you giggled as you immediately jumped on top of him. You loved when he was wearing his reading glasses.
Cillian put his book aside and pulled you close for passionate kiss before taking off his glasses.
‘I love you, you know that?’ he said quietly and you nodded in response.
‘I love you too Cillian’ you said before kissing him again passionately before lifting up your hips to take off your panties.
There wasn’t much time for foreplay and you certainly didn’t need any. After three weeks, you were desperate for him and he was desperate for you.
You quickly threw the blanket to the ground and helped him out of his briefs before pushing him backwards so that he would lie flat on the mattress.
You climbed on top of him before you kissed again, fast, desperate and passionately.
‘Don’t forget to pull out’ you smirked just before your body began to slowly lower itself onto his Cillian’s lap, the head of his cock pushing against your opening.
He was hard, harder than he had been in a while. It was obvious to you how much he simply wanted to be inside of you.
The lips of your mound were slick, covered by your juices and the precum that had pooled at the tip of his cock.
As you moved your body further down, he penetrated you without resistance, relishing the wet, soft and warm grip of your opening.
You were just as tight as he remembered and a soft growl fell from his lips. Your walls contracted around him as he entered you inch by inch. It almost felt like a vice-grip, and the fact that he didn't immediately cum right there after three weeks of abstinence was a miracle.
You also couldn't believe how good it felt, after three weeks. You needed this desperately and you no longer cared about the fact that your parents were staying in the next room.
‘Hmm, I missed this’ you moaned quietly as more and more of his cock filled you.
Finally, your shapely ass rested on his legs, the entirety of Cillian’s cock throbbing inside you.
‘I missed this too babe’ Cillian whispered as you leaned in and kissed him deeply, pressing your small perky breasts against his chest.
You raised yourself slightly before lowering yourself back onto his hard member.
Cillian kept both hands on your hips, guiding you as you rhythmically bounced on his lap.
You felt yourself getting lost in all of this and your moans soon became uncontrolled, causing Cillian to gently place his hand over your mouth for a few seconds to muffle the sounds you were making.
‘You need to be quiet’ he instructed as the feeling of him being inside of you was almost dizzying.
You tried the best you could to remain quiet, but your efforts were futile as your humping grew erratic while you nuzzled your face into Cillian’s neck.
Cillian wrapped his arms around you and started to both lift you and thrust up, taking control of your movements.
His cock was slamming into you now, the sound of your ass cheeks being clapped competing with the squeaking of the bed.
Neither of you cared any longer as you got lost in each other. Surely, your family was fast asleep by now.
‘Cillian, fuck’ you whispered in between laboured moans as you moved in sync with each other and the head of his cock hit your cervix over and over again. His length filled you perfectly and it felt as though he was all the way inside your stomach.
As you rode him for what felt like an eternity, you could soon begin to feel your orgasm approach hard and fast and, whilst you usually tried to draw it out, you didn’t that night.
You came hard and forcefully, your body shaking as you did everything in your power not to scream and moan.
As your orgasm washed over you, Cillian once again covered your mouth to stop you from screaming out involuntarily. Usually, you were loud in the bedroom, so loud that you had recently been questioned by one of the children as to whether something was wrong.
Cillian made you feel so good that you lost control and his hand muffled the screams that escaped you as your walls contracted around him, squeezing his hard cock tightly as you orgasmed.
The sound of your panting and contraction of your tight walls around his cock pushed Cillian close to the edge as well. In fact, he was dangerously close.
While you rode out your orgasm, his was approaching, fast and hard and his cock started to pulse inside you.
‘Y/N stop’ Cillian said quietly as he held still, trying to reduce the pleasure you were giving him. But, you were in a trance, still consumed by your orgasm after three weeks of abstinence, and continued to move up and down on top of him.
‘Y/N, you need to stop… Fuck’ Cillian panted in between involuntary groans as he could feel himself throbbing inside of you rapidly. He could not hold back any longer.
You finally realised what was happening when you felt his hands grip your waist, trying to move you off him and asking you to stop once again.
‘Fuck Y/N’ Cillian moaned as you quickly moved your body upwards, allowing him to pull out of you and, just in that moment, he came hard and fast.
You tried your best to quickly collect his hot and sweet seed with your mouth as you had planned. After all, this was something you enjoyed doing a lot. But, your efforts were partially futile and you would certainly have to find a way to discreetly wash the sheets tomorrow without your parents noticing. There was a lot, defiantly more than usual.
‘Close call’ you giggled after swallowing what you had collected and licking your lips suggestively before lying down next to Cillian.
‘Too fucking close Y/N’ Cillian said, still panting. ‘You won’t be going on top the next time you want me to pull out’ he said.
‘I am sorry. I just totally lost control’ you said as you curled up against Cillian’s chest.
‘I could tell. I hope your parents didn’t hear you’ he said with a slight chuckle before kissing you gently.
That night, you really wanted to stay with him, but you knew that you couldn’t and, after another few minutes of kisses and cuddles, you returned to your room quietly.
When you returned to your room you decided to change into your comfortable snoopy pyjamas which your mum had given you. They weren’t exactly sexy, but warm.
But, just as you stepped out of your black lace panties, you noticed a small amount of shimmery white liquid on the inside of them.
Hoping that it wasn’t what you thought it was, you ran your finger through your wet slit in anguish and observed a little more of it.
Perhaps the close call was too close after all.

I was wondering if you can do a request with Finnick Odair and my oc/me (Hannah). You don’t have to use my name, but it’s Hannah if you do. So here’s some backstory. So Hannah’s father is a district 1 victor of the hunger games, her mother is a stylist and her father lived in the capital now due to district 1’s privileges. Hannah was born and raised in the capital, but was taunt by her parents to be anti hunger games, due to her father being in the games and seeingnn the horrors along with being traumatized by seeing them when she was 8. So her and finnick met while her mother was his stylist in the games. They became friends and caught feelings when they were 16. She was one of the only person who knew the truth about his “many lovers” and she was there to help him through it. They started dating when they were 19 and when they were 21 (just after the 72nd games), they were able to sneak Hannah back on the train with them into district 4. The capital tried to get her back, but since this was great publicity and stuff, they just left it because it wasn’t as important and they could also profit off their relationship, as well as also continuing to see finnick. So I was thinking you can write something pretty recently after Hannah arrived to district 4, so maybe at first people don’t really like her because she’s privileged and from the capital, so maybe finnick tries to reassure her. And maybe you can do some cute things where they have a romantic walk along the docks and maybe it can end with them playing in the water after Hannah fell in.
I just thought it’d be something cute
We Remain [F.O]
Finnick Odair x reader
Word count: 2.7K
Warnings: Snow's a motherf*cker so yeah, he did awful things to Finnick
A/N: Very first request! hope you like it hun. My box are still open for request! English not my mother language so please let me know if something's wrong. Enjoy!
"So, what are you doing here?" Finnick sat down next to you on the thick warm sand startling you by his sudden arrival. You had been sitting on the shore of the beach for a couple of hours now and Finnick kept watching you from the dock not wanting to interrumpt your thoughts.
He knew you were not comfortable in his district. You told him how much you loved the ocean, seeing the sun reflected on the water in the mornings and the beautiful view from the lookout point, yet there was something that didn't make you feel at home.
You slumped your shoulders as Finnick slipped his arm over them giving you a small smile. Your eyes focused on the calm, deep blue sea in front of you. The sun was about to set creating strange shapes in the remaining waves and you kept your gaze fixed on them trying to find them some form.
Finnick sighed pressing you against him. Your body trembled from the closeness which made him smile. Finnick was damn cocky and he loved the effect he had on you. He kissed your hair waiting for his question to be answered. You closed your eyes, shaking your head.
"I...I was thinking."
"About what?"
"About home. I mean...in everything that was left behind."
Finnick nodded thinking you must miss your district terribly. You were born and raised in the capitol thanks to your father winning his games, but your home was always district one. Even if you never saw district one in your life, the stories your parents told about it created in your mind a sense of having a place where you truly belonged.
Your parents raised you to hate the hunger games. It wasn't a tradition, it was a massacre, a terrifying event that disgusted them and they didn't want you to grow up believing that taking children to the reaping every year and watching them die in a bloodbath was what was meant to happen, so, at their peril, your parents managed to get your name out of the urn every year to save your life permanently.
Then, when your mother became the stylist for the winner of the 65th hunger games everything became easier. You met Finnick and he became a protective shield against the capitol. He was only fourteen when he won the games so Finnick spent most of his time at your house in the company of your father. Then in the following years Finnick became a mentor to the new tributes and your father was always by his side creating between the two of you a very strong bond.
Sometimes, when he spent the nights at your house he escaped from his bedroom and went to yours just to talk sitting in your bed while you were eating snacks. You told him about district one and how much you would like to visit there someday and he told you how wonderful district four was and how he spent his evenings before he was the brightest star in Panem. Almost every night you met to talk and when he turned sixteen he stopped knocking at your door.
At first you didn't understand why he stopped visiting. No calls, no texts, no explanations why he didn't come to your house anymore. Until one day, as you were taking a walk downtown you heard the insidious gossips around him.
"Did you enjoy your night with Finnick Odair?" a woman asked another as they enjoyed a warm evening at the diner. Your footsteps stopped behind them feeling your heart skip a beat as you heard Finnick's name on her red lips. The woman let out a giggle waving her open hand next to her face trying to cover her blush.
"He's amazing! Oh my god, dear, it's... it's splendid. Really, he's worth it."
"What does he want in return?" the other woman asked. You felt your face turn green with disgust.
"Secrets. A very good one. One that will trace your path to the stars..."
You walked away from there as fast as you could avoiding remembering the words of those two women. For god's sake, Finnick was only sixteen, he was a kid and he was leading an adult life. It was disgusting. You came home with tears in your eyes and your breath hitching. Your mother squeezed your shoulders but you couldn't speak, you were too confused for that. You mumbled something your mother didn't understand and you ran off to your room not noticing that Finnick had met with your father that afternoon and was watching you from the open door of your dad's office.
Tears streamed down your face as you closed the door. You were speechless. Finnick had left you aside after sharing so many late night talks in his company, so many smiles and so many dreams only to lead a life like the rest of the people in the capitol. The glory and the power had finally brought out the worst in him and you couldn't hate the capitol any more than you already did.
You heard a couple of knocks on your door followed by a "(Y/N), are you okay?" from Finnick's voice. Your cries subsided waiting for him to leave, but that didn't happen, instead he persisted until he heard a response from you.
"I'm fine" you replied with a broken voice. You imagined Finnick frowning.
"Are you sure?" he asked. You listened as he tried to turn the doorknob, but you had locked it in "I saw you coming. I was talking with your dad about some stuff and i thought something had happened to you, may I come in?"
"No!" you replied. Your tears threatening to come out again "I'm-I'm fine, okay? I don't need you. Go away."
Finnick was silent for a moment, nevertheless, he kept trying to turn the knob
"(Y/N) let me in."
"didn't you hear me? I want you to leave. Now."
"Not until you open the door."
"You'll stay there, then"
"If that's what i have to do..."
You walked to your bed sitting on it crying silently. Your heart was aching. Deep down you felt something was going on between you and Finnick, something that went beyond the friendship you both proclaimed, but the blindfold had fallen off your eyes as you listened to those women talk about Finnick like he was a piece of meat. You didn't know what was going on, you didn't understand it either and Finnick was just there playing innocent. Finnick turned the knob one more time.
"Well, this makes me think you don't trust me enough like I thought you did."
Crying gave way to annoyance to that point. You jumped to your feet, glancing towards the door imagining Finnick's contracted face on the other side
"Look who's saying it."
"I don't understand."
"Stop pretending, Finnick"
"I don't know what I'm supposed to be pretending" His voice sounded so calm it made you rage. You walked over to the door "I just want to know what happened so I can help you. That's what friends do, isn't it?
"So we're friends now? After you left without explanation we're friends? We're friends even though you didn't tell me what the hell were you doing with your oh-so-many-lovers?"
Finnick was silent for a long time making you think he just left, but then you heard a deep sigh and the creak of the wood as he leaned his body against the door
"So you know it."
You frowned, opening the door with a smash taking him by surprise. Your eyes were bloodshot from crying and pent up anger. Finnick had never seen you so upset
"So you know it, that's all you're going to say?"
"I can explain"
"Then it's true. What I heard..."
"No, no" he denied walking into your room closing it with his foot. You walked backwards trying to get away from him. Finnick knew about the rumors about him in the capitol, he never cared what they were saying about him, but he did care about what you had heard and how you might miunderstand it "It's true. What you said..."
"You're sixteen, for God's sake!" you shouted, disgusted "How-how can you...?"
"It's not how you're imagining it. They're making me do it."
"Yeah, right."
"It's true" Finnick answered approaching you and caressing your cheeks. He connected his eyes with yours and you managed to see a crystalline layer in them "It's true, (Y/N)"
"What?" you asked, horrified. Finnick closed his eyes, pursed his lips and nodded "But how? who?"
"President Snow."
"Why?"
"He'll kill my family if I don't do what he asks."
Your mind went blank. Finnick opened his eyes pearly with tears.
"But, you don't have a family."
Finnick smiled.
"You are my family" Your heart raced "Ever since my games...you and your parents became an important part of my life. You've given me a home, a place where I know I'm welcome, a place where i know all of you don't care what I am, but what I was before I was a victor and what's left of me since then. Snow threatened to harm you and your parents."
"Really?"
"Really. He knows how important you are for me" His breath collided against your lips in a stormy closeness "There is no one I care more about. That's why I had to accept. It's not easy for me, I hate what I became, but I had no choice (Y/N), I swear"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Finnick took a few steps away, ducking his eyes.
"I was too embarrassed. I still am. At some point I would have told you, of course, but I wasn't... I wasn't ready, I'm still not."
"Finnick..."
"I'm sorry for disappointing you."
He tried to leave your room but you stopped him squeezing him in a tight embrace that take your breath away. Finnick squeezed your body tightly lifting your feet off the floor.
"You didn't have to" you whispered. He denied
"I have to and I will. I'm not going to let them hurt you or your parents. What happens to me doesn't matter as long as you're safe."
"God, Finnick, I love you so much."
You broke apart instantly, you were so embarrassed by what you had just said and Finnick were shocked in surprise. Your cheeks grew hot and you were about to run away if it wasn't for Finnick's lips that pressed against yours in a small kiss. Finnick smiled
"I love you too."
.
Even after you confessed to each other you couldn't have a romantic relationship, at least not in public. Finnick had to continue obeying Snow's orders and you tried not to interfere to damage him even more, so the only ones who knew about you were your parents and Maggs, Finnick's old friend.
He came back to visit you at night in your room, you talked about anything that came to your mind (except about Finnick's many lovers) and, one night, he told you every secret he knew.
"Why are you telling me all this?" you asked him, watching your intertwined hands. You were both nineteen at the time and the secrets Finnick had obtained were too many. He smiled
"No one lives forever" he replied "Someday the advantage I have against Snow will turn against me and if that ever happens I need someone else to tell the truth for me"
"That's not going to happen"
He shrugged his shoulders
"You never know"
.
When Finnick saw the opportunity to leave the capitol after the hunger games where the tributes from district twelve put on a show and unleashed the wrath of President Snow, he didn't hesitate twice in proposing to take you with him to district four.
He put together a plan to hide you on the train until you passed district three where you were out of the president's reach. You weren't sure if it was a good idea, but your parents encouraged you to run away saying it was the safest place you could be. You were still unsure about it because you knew that your parents' lives would be in danger if Snow found out, however, your father assured you that they would be fine, the capitol wouldn't touch them and you could leave with Finnick and start a new life. You accepted then, sneaking onto the train that left for district four the next morning.
Of course, Snow was informed of your scape weeks later when you and Finnick managed to successfully settle in a house away from the victors' village. Neither of you wanted to live under the government roof and Finnick took a small place near the coast, where you received an unwelcome letter from the president asking you to return immediately to the capitol before the consequences became severe. Finnick replied for you, saying in a single paragraph that he didn't agree with that.
"I have a mind full of secrets. It doesn't suit you for me to become an open book. (Y/N) won't come back and neither will I."
Snow calmed down. Finnick seemed very pleased by that and things calmed down a bit. But there, in the utter calm of the sea, you still felt something was missing.
Finnick rubbed your arms as the sun went down and the moon appeared. The days in district four were too hot and the nights too cold, it was hard to get used to the change, even more so when no one in the district seemed to feel comfortable with your presence.
You could tell by the looks of the women on the shore and the angry faces of the fishermen. For them you were an intruder, a privileged one who had never had to suffer what their children did every year during the reaping cause your father, being a victor, had saved your ass. To them you were a coward, a disgrace and a pest who shouldn't have made it all the way to district four.
Finnick kissed your temple enjoying the silence of the newly arrived night. You sighed thinking about how much Finnick lost when he met you. His freedom, his decision about his body, the affection of the people in his district, his home in the village and so many other things you didn't want to remember. Finnick clicked his tongue, rubbing your arms again.
"Stop thinking, love."
"I can't. This all feels like a dream, a very... devastating one."
"You know what people think or don't think about us is something you can't change."
"Yes, but I would like to show them that I am more than they think, I am more than the daughter of someone who survived the hell of the games. Let them know that my presence doesn't represent a mockery to their dead children in the arena, that I am not a bad person."
"And you're not. Give them time. They're not bad either. They are against the system just like us, at some point they will realize we are on their side. Don't worry about it, I won't let anyone minimize you or make you feel bad. I'm going to protect you, okay? That's what we do, protect each other."
"You promise?"
"I promise. Now come on sweetie, let's take a walk" Finnick lifted you up easily taking your hand to walk across the sand. Finnick's hand against yours brought you security and a relief you couldn't explain. As you walked you rested your head on his shoulder and he hugged you close to him "We'll be fine, (Y/N), just... trust me"
"As always."
"Fair enough."
Then Finnick pulled your hand into the cold water of the sea splashing you in the face. You played back at him and the two of you ended up having a little fight in the middle of the sea. Finnick reached over, grabbed you around the waist and brushed your lips together.
"We'll be fine," he said. You nodded
"We'll be fine."

What ifs Sigyn's stories
Part 8
So many different universes, so many different possibilities. And in some loves Sigyn and their different stories. Pictures and brief information have been written about some of these possibilities.
But what is her full story, we don't know. But we can spin them further in our thoughts ^^
Inspired by @fauna-and-mythos @dailylogyn @dank-art @jonquilclegane @sigynoffidelity @sigynthevictorious @thewitchysystem @shenanigans-and-imagines @timeladyjamie @therese-lokidottir @puckwritesstuff @useless-chan-draws @sigynappreciation @sigyn-obsessed @marvelentertainment
The whole project here serves to show the possibilities and potential that Sigyn would have had within the Marvel Universe. How she could have been reintroduced, her story made new and more exciting. #JusticeForSigyn stands for creating Sigyn content because Marvel doesn't give us any.
Elf Sigyn Story by @jonquilclegane
Sigyn was born an Elf of Alfheim, the last of an old, lost dynasty. Odin had conquered her realm and killed her family, only to put one of his lackeys on the throne – a throne that should have been hers by birthright. She then decided to take revenge on Odin and his family. She learnt magic and became a master of the dark arts. Thanks to her new skills, she created a curse that would annihilate ‘Glad-of-war’ and his bloodline. His son Baldur, god of Light, was the first to perish. Then, Vali Odinson, god of Revenge, born after his odious father had raped his mother, died by the hand of the same person he was supposed to slain. Thor, God of Thunder, did not succumb to the spell, but after falling in love with a mortal, he decided to stay on Midgard permanently, isolating the evil monarch more and more. Odin had only one last son left by his side, the God of Mischief, Loki.
It seemed strange to Sigyn that her curse did not seem to affect him in the least. However, an old witch from Jotunheim revealed to her the truth. A terrible truth. Dreadful. The Elf felt sorry for Loki, as she knew it would destroy him. On the other hand, if she played it well, she would have quite the ally by her side. It turned out that the last Odinson was actually the son of Laufey, stolen as a baby from a temple where his parents had left him, believing he would be safe. Odin had let everyone believe the child was dead, while in fact, he had taken him back home, pretending he was his. Of course, Loki would never have believed her, if she were to tell him directly. So, she gave him a dream, revealing his true parentage: who his parents were, how Laufey and his queen did love him and believed him dead, how Odin had stolen him, turning him into a political pawn. The Casket of Winters did the rest. Once the Prince of Jotunheim touched it, his true appearance was revealed. He confronted his adoptive father, but the coward took refuge into Odin sleep.
Through a magical whisper, Sigyn told Loki to steal the Casket and join her side. And so, Alfheim and Jotunheim formed an alliance against Asgard, in a war that would last for thousands of years.
Wolf Sigyn
Imagine you have known since you were a child that you will love this man and only this man. But you also know it's not right. So you get on with your life as best you can. But there comes a point when you do something stupid, for Sigyn this point was on her 650th birthday when all the Asgard nobility and their most important representatives had gathered for her birthday. As soon as she saw Loki she did everything to exchange only the most necessary words with him and therefore drank more than she should.
When she woke up the next day, she didn't wake up in her room but in his. And as the pieces of the night's memory came back she realized that wasn't you can sleep in my bed because you're too drunk. That was... drunk sex in all its dirty and embarrassing details as in the manual.
Sigyn just runs away, she didn't want any embarrassing scenes, she just wanted to go home. But no one just leaves Loki's chambers without being spotted by Amora and although at first she thought "What does Loki want with someone who is just nothing" her next thought was "Probably another notch of petty conquests, poor girl", that was more of a startshot for something else.
Loki could remember even less of what happened than Sigyn and got on Amora's nerves. So Amora took pity on speaking to Sigyn after 5 months, only Sigyn hadn't been in Asgard for 3 months but in Vanaheim. And what Amora found when she arrived in Vanaheim gave her a shock that Sigyn was pregnant and the devetiv of Loki.
Amora offered Sigyn her help and she gratefully accepted. Amora didn't say anything to Loki, only told him that her conversation with Sigyn went well and that she thinks what happened was a one-time thing. Something happened and life goes on. This pulled Loki down a lot, whom he actually wanted to teach Sigyn to get closer to. Amora reminded him how much he loved him and would always be there. But inside she broke because she knew that Loki would never trust her 100%. After all, that was already a relationship attempt 150.
Fear makes us do things we shouldn't do and Amora, who also suffers from depression, came up with a plan. A plan that was the easiest way for her. She knew that Sigyn was interested in Loki, she also knew that what had happened between the two of them was embarrassing and she knew Sigyn wanted her child to know his father. Sigyn was just too honest for this world and so Amora told Sigyn that it was only for winning a bet that she could get into bed. For Sigyn it was exactly what he had anticipated. But actually wasn't the truth, but only Amora knew that and suggested that she could be the child's mother. Sigyn would be free again and could go back to her old life and the child would be with his father. Sigyn told Amora that she was already 5 months old and how to do it. Amora just winked at Sigyn.
So Amora acted like she was pregnant and the plan worked out well. Everyone believed that through magic she had cleverly turned off her condition to hide it. Loki was just happy and would be there for her, the rest would tell.
When Sigyn gave birth to her child, Amora was of course present and as soon as the child was born, Amora asked what his name should be. Sigyn answered with Vali and wanted to take the child in her arms, but Amora refused and made it clear to Sigyn that it would not be good since Vali was now her son too. Sigyn made her understand that she could not keep the agreement and cried bitterly. But Amora hugged the child and cursed Sigyn to live as a wolf for the rest of her life.
Sigyn Master of Mystical Powers belongs to Doctor Rod's Circle of Magic
This Sigyn left Asgard, leaving everything behind after finally being able to leave Loki. She began her new life together with a single kind, which the Arsen she could not take. Because no one knew she was pregnant.
She goes to the Sanctum Sanctorum and halfway through the training of new magicians. She and Strange found each other and lived happily with Sigyn's daughter on Earth-455.
WandaVision Sigyn Story by @jonquilclegane
Sigyn Freyadottir had come to Asgard as a very young girl, a princess of Vanaheim, betrothed to Prince Loki. From the first time she had laid eyes on him, she had loved him, and he had loved her back. They had been inseparable, until he fell from the Bifrost. Then, he came back, but he died again… or rather, faked his death.
He always came back to her.
Until he did not.
Thanos had broken his neck.
Hela had killed their two sons, Vali and Narvi, while they were all stuck on Sakaar, and now Loki was dead too.
Thanos had taken her sun, and paid with his life for it.
But now, as she stared blankly into the void, Sigyn wondered when Death would come and take her too. She wanted to be with her family, with her husband and their sons. That’s all she wanted. She could hear Thor talking to her. Poor man. She was all he had left too, wasn’t she? And yet, even though she was trying to be there for him, to smile at him, it was obvious her heart and spirit were gone.
When she died, would she see them again? Would they come to great her? Or would she end up in a very different realm, separated from them forever?
She could not bear it.
That’s when she felt it.
Just a spark at first, but growing more and more.
Chaos magic. Pure and powerful, and unleashed on a small city in Midgard.
She sent her friend Agatha Harkness to investigate. She had to know if this was real.
If it was, then… maybe she could see Loki again.
It turned out the Avenger Wanda Maximoff was the Scarlet witch all along. Well, good for her. However, the most interesting part was that she had been able to recreate her lost love, and had now two sons of her own with the man in question. How lucky. How incredibly lucky.
“That’s all I want too”, Sigyn thought, tears rolling down her cheeks.
She asked Agatha to steal a little bit of Wanda’s magic in a stone, and send it to her. She could of course settle in Westview, become another neighbor of the happy couple, but Sigyn knew that at some point, Shield or Sword, or Hydra, or whatever they called themselves these days, would meddle and ruin the whole thing. She was not going to lose her family again.
No.
Never again.
So, she created a pocket dimension, and thanks to the chaos magic, she recreated Loki, Vali and Narvi.
Of course it was not real, but it was enough. It had to be enough.
Strange Academy Sigyn
(What a new star from Sigyn could have looked like in the comic series!)
When love gets a second chance, do it right. When Loki visited Sigyn years later to apologize to her after everything that had happened, he first had to realize how changed she was and yet actually not. That Sigyn was still alive and well was a shock and joy for Loki at the same time. On the one hand because of her past and on the other hand because he really regretted the wrong he had done to her. But when he stood in front of her and saw her look at him with fear and disgust, it was a stab in his heart. Nevertheless, Sigyn agreed to talk to him and they did. In the end, Sigyn thanked Loki and wished him well as he left.
It would take three weeks for Loki to reappear at Sigyn. Not because he wanted to harness her again, but because he realized something. Centuries if not even millennia could pass and one thing would never change, she was the love of his immortal life and no matter what it cost him, he only wanted her! And how he had to make an effort, Sigyn let him wriggle for a very long time this time. Really, really long.
And after 5 years of being in a relationship again, their third child together was born. A daughter named Freydís. But that's not all Sigyn started teaching Doctor Stange School of Magic and became active as a school nurse.
Sigyn the lost Princess Scene from a good friend
The corridors were dark limestone, giving a sense of coldness and brokenness. The individual cells were full of vans who were either already half dead, traumatized or even dead. Loki knew what this place was, one where hope died and was erased. The freedom fighters of Vanaheim ran past him and Thor, opening the cells to see if they could still help. They relieved those who could no longer be helped from their suffering.
Thor looked at his brother who was holding the only guard who was still alive in check, they wanted him alive to question him later.
Hagen came up to them and indicated that the man Loki was holding him should come with them and Loki dragged him while Hagen went ahead. Thor followed them too and it went even deeper down that unreal expression that was a prison.
"What kind of prisoners are you housed in?" Hagen asked the man "who use the methods of starvation or more horrible torture here. Some cells may only be entered when the person is dead, transferred or...", but Hagen interrupted the man " Who is locked up here?” “I don't know, I was always upstairs and responsible for these prisoners,” the man answered immediately.
"He doesn't look like he's trusted enough for the way he's putting out the information either," Loki said. "Anyway, we'll have to see who else can help her," Hagen said, meaning two men the man to take away. Loki let go of the man and transitioned him to the second who carried him away.
"I think most of her can't be helped anymore, it would be more honorable to put them all out of their suffering," Thor interjected, but Loki hardly heard that anymore. His steps were drawn as if by something that he was walking in exactly that direction. Deeper into this tunnel so he had to create a light source with the help of magic. The prison felt as if it could be straight out of the deepest Middle Ages, even though they weren't that far from Asgard in terms of progress.
Loki stopped in front of the lattice wall and saw that there was a small figure lying on the floor. As the orbs of light took shape, he was briefly unable to breathe. Because Sigyn lay half dead on the ground. And she wore clothes made of rags that mean something right now. Her whole body was streaked with red lines, as if she had been trained with hot irons. Then there were the bruises, bruises that pointed to the broken ribs, the blood was open wounds, wounds that had already filled with pus. All of this was bad and made Loki angry, but what made him even more angry were the tracks that indicated that Sigyn was clearly raped.
First Lady Sigyn (Loki Series What if)
What if the President Loki we met on the show had had his Sigyn? And his nexus event would be that he couldn't prevent her death?
let's dive into this story.
She was his home, his greatest support and his warmth. But she is no more... how could it come to this. How could that happen...
Loki wanted Thor to go after losing the battle against Thanos, proving he was still a god of mischief. So Loki figured why not be Canadian as President of the USA. Sigyn wasn't very enthusiastic at first, but when Loki explained his plan to her, she agreed.
And so it went to work and went very well until extreme atheists showed up. They tempt attacks on New Asgard as well as on Loki and Sigyn themselves. Their goal is to eliminate god beings.
The day the TVA showed up to take Loki, Sigyn died in just such an attack. Loki had actually announced the event, but on the day of the event, Loki decided to go there again in a tie.
Loki was the first to get out of the car and found himself surrounded by photographers. Sigyn got out just behind him and grabbed Loki's hand, he held it tight. Nobody heard the shot, but Sigyn saw the man out of the corner of his eye and placed himself more in front of Loki. When Loki wanted to walk the red carpet with Sigyn, Sigyn stood next to him instead of as usual and collapsed. Loki didn't know what was going on at first because he was grabbed by several hands and led to a portal. Meanwhile, Sigyn lay dead on the ground.
Loki only noticed Sigyn's death lying on the ground when he was right in front of the portal. He screamed her name and went for her, but the people in the comical uniforms dragged him through the portal. The first is history.
Sigyn The Princess Bride
When Vali lies ill in bed, Loki asks his wife to represent him at an important event in New Asgard. Sigyn doesn't really want to leave her son's side, but Loki knows Ice Fiber better. So Sigyn goes to the event.
Vali is laid on the couch in the living room by his father. Since Loki has him under surveillance better that way, but Vali gets bored and throws the book his father gave him to read across the room. Loki tells him that he doesn't appreciate stories and Vali tells him that stories are boring. Loki then sits down next to him on the couch, laughing, and begins to tell him a story.
It's about a princess and a prince who were inseparable as children. And later as they grow older fall in love, mutually promise to marry. But a terrible war separates the two and they will not see each other again until 600 years later.
The princess who swore not to marry anyone but her chosen prince. Chosen as a bride against her will by another prince Theoric Prince of the North Shon by Karnilla Queen of Nornheim.
The princess is brought to Nornheim to settle in. Because once married she can never go back to her own home. She spends her time on very long walks and horseback rides to spend as little time with Theoric as possible. On one of these horseback riding trips, she is kidnapped by trolls and taken to the mountains, where her captors throw her into a cave. In the cave, the man who ordered the kidnapping turns out to be the prince she promised to marry 600 years ago.
They should only have a few days together before she finds Theoric and claims his bride back. In the thick of battle, Theoric throws the other prince down the abyss, grabs the princess and rides away with her and his men.
But the prince is not dead and rushes after them after he has taken care of his wounds. But when he arrives in the capital of Nornheim, he finds out that the wedding is already in full swing.
He storms the Perlast with all his allies. Theoric lets the wedding go ahead and reveals to his bride that he killed her lover when he begged for his life like a coward. The princess broken in sorrow and pain knowing when the truth comes out that she is expecting a child that is not from the man who is now her husband will break completely. She wants to take her life to be reunited with her love. But the prince can still stop her. Happy but broken, she tries to explain to him that her marriage is tied to her husband. But the marriage isn't legal because she didn't say "yes"!
Yes, Theoric, have the wedding performed on the fly, but without waiting for his bride's "yes". Which is why the princess is not married and is therefore not bound by any promises of marriage.
The prince and princess want to leave the palace, but are found by Theoric, resulting in a second duel between the prince and Theoric. In which it is made clear that it was Theoric who begged for his life only to push the prince down the abyss from behind.
The prince complies with the request not to kill Theoric, but he has to swear never to look near her or her entire family again.
They leave Theoric in his shame and humiliation and begin their life together.
Vali listened attentively to his father and wished that his father would tell him the same story again tomorrow. Before he falls asleep peacefully.
When Sigyn comes back from the event that night, she asks Loki how work went. Loki caresses her pregnant belly, Sigyn is pregnant for the second time, this time with twins. And grins down at her and says he told Vali her story. Sigyn then starts to laugh, she knows that her husband has probably polished up their story a lot and ask to be allowed to listen to it tomorrow evening.
Shield Agent Sigyn Story by @jonquilclegane
Vicky Gosforth was an Agent of Shield. She had been for quite a long time. For how long? Well, she would always stay evasive about that. How strange was it that some of the picture of the old agents had a lady that looked a bit like her? Ah, well, she had family members who were part of the Shield during its first days….
Lies, of course.
Vicky Gosforth did not exist. Sigyn Freyadottir, on the other hand, did. As a child, she had been kidnapped by Thanos, but she had escaped, faking her death thanks to her magic skills. She had found refuge on Midgard, trying her best not to interfere with the local population. Still, there were stories about her: tales of witches living in the woods, of fairies who from time to time accepted to help a maiden in distress, or of ladies living at the bottom of a lake…
However, around 1950, she met someone wonderful: a woman whose strength she couldn’t help but admire. A true Valkyrie, just like her mother. Sigyn liked Peggy Carter the moment she saw her, and decided to be her friend. And so, she helped her with the foundation of Shield, and became a Shield agent, specializing in everything occult or alien. Nicholas Fury was one of her best students.
When Peggy started becoming old and sick, Sigyn begged her to eat one of Idunn’s apples that would restore her health and youth, but her friend refused, as “she had done her time”.
One day, though, something changed. While she was helping Hawkeye and Fury, watching over some alien device, Sigyn saw a man appear. He seemed sick, sweating, obviously hurt and out-of-his-mind. She recognized the signs at once. Thanos’s work.
The man in question was called Loki, a son of Odin, king of Asgard, fallen from grace, and into the mad Titan’s claws. Sigyn explained to his brother, Thor, that he was probably controlled by the same man who had kidnapped her so many centuries ago. They had to help him, find a way to break Thanos’ hold on his soul.
Sigyn tried to reason Loki the best she could, but it was hard to reach him, mostly when he was so far gone. She realized the blue stone’s power was working as an addiction for him, and opened a portal to another world, throwing the stone as far as she could, closing the portal before Loki could grab it.
He was furious, but little by little he seemed to regain his own mind. Fear was painted all over his face. Sigyn could understand him very well, as she feared for her own safety : Thanos now knew she was alive, and she would have Hel to pay for trying to escape him, and “losing” the blue stone.
Once the army was defeated by the Avengers, Thor took Loki home to Asgard, and Sigyn followed them, hoping the Golden realm could offer her the safety and protection she needed. Odin welcomed her, as she was a child of Freya, one of his former Valkyries. Though visits were forbidden, she insisted on visiting Loki, and they formed very quicky a strong friendship, that blossomed into love over the years.
