villain!deku rambles.. eeerrmmm
i rlly want to start a comic about villain!deku, but im a little hesitant because i feel like it would be WAY too big of an undertaking for me..
but if ur at all interested, my ideas are below the cut. ^_^
My concept would start with the sludge villain incident. Other heroes get to saving bakugou before both midoriya or all might. This, in turn, means that he never gets OFA.. and never joins the hero course (yadada im sure this has all been written before). However I DO think that he would still join UA. Thats really my main motivation behind making a comic like this. In a lot of villain!deku stuff I see, he tends to abandon hero work altogether.. which i just dont think he'd do!! midoriya is VERY determined when he has his mind set on something, so I feel like he'd find some way to go to UA one way or another.
So, what would make him a villain then?? Well, it would definitely be a gradual build-up overtime. Assuming he takes the support-course route (which ig would make this a mashup of two aus, LOL), I think it would start with him helping vigilantes. Low-level illegal heroes convince him that by making support items, midoriya can advance in his field. He keeps doing these sorts of favors, knowing its unethical, out of a desperation to feel useful and help the 'heroes.'
I also think as a sort of parallel to bakugo, he'd start hanging around bad classmates like bakugo did during middle school. Being in a support course as opposed to a hero course means a very different demographic of students. We see a lot of instances IRL of students going into engineering good intentions, only to throw away morals for higher paying jobs (i'm sure yall have seen those Lockheed Martin tiktoks, need I say more 💀). We know characters like mei hatsume are very honest and dedicated to their craft, but what are the lower-level students like? What about the other classes? We don't really see much of that, so I think it'd be fun to explore the morally gray students of UA.
I think his final breaking point would be when he gets in kahoots with Giran. I don't think giran would immediately clock midoriya as a potential recruit, but instead would change his mind later: seeking out midoriya after Shigaraki shows interest in bakugo. (sure, they aren't in the same class anymore, but both of them being in UA works as a convenient connection).
After midoriya gets with shigiraki, I believe he'd certainly get a quirk (whether or not midoriya actually wants it, Im sure theyd give him one anyways. more power to their organization, and more leverage over midoriya). Soon after, the LoV would get into an altercation with class 1-A, which would probably get him expelled. Although, in-turn, fuel a stronger disproval towards hero society (and also compel izuku to get better at using his quirk, knowing that he has a lot of catching up to do).
And duh as the cherry on top, there'd be bkdk angst.. bakugo only realizing that midoriya got into UA after seeing his association with the league. The weird guilty feeling bakugou would get knowing that a kid he bullied ended up becoming a villain, but also pure anger at knowing that he even got into UA in the first place. And also, the inevitable midoriya/bakugo fight that would happen when the league and class 1-A have more encounters.
I haven't exactly decided on how to end it, but I feel like it would end with either a redemption or something similar to the whole togachako situation. More likely a redemption because, lets be for real here, midoriya is so kind-spirited that even as a villain: he'd probably fold when faced with a genuine bakugo apology or heart-to-heart All Might encounter LOL.
anyways im deffff yapping here, I did NOT intend for this post to be so fucking long HELP. I just really wanted to get my stupid ideas written down. Like i said earlier, this has prob been done before if we're being quite honest.. but I still I think making a comic like this would be sooo fun. But godd i am NOT a good writer so I worry that I would start and then never finish. aaaaah 😭😭
I'll just have to see if my motivation sticks around these next few weeks. If so, I'll probably start drafting this out!! If I do lose interest, well then.. this'll be the last you hear of my villain!deku rambles LMAO. I rlly hope I don't lose interest because this would be the first time ive written since like, early high school, and I really want to get back into writing again. Even in comic form, any kind of writing would be great practice for me. Dx

I really wish I could like BNHA bc Ochako and Deku are both the Actual Best and pretty much every other character also is and the worldbuilding and plot seem like a lot of fun but
I fucking hate Bakugou with every fiber of my fucking being to the point where he ruins all the others for me and I’m still too goddamn salty about Izuku getting a quirk to actually enjoy any of the worldbuilding and/or plot
#like holy SHIT Izuku getting a quirk is??? the actual worst?????#my problems with bakugou are mostly personal cause I was bullied so I'm incapable of looking at him from an objective viewpoint#but Izuku getting a quirk is objectively bad storytelling and I hate the fact that I'm apparently the only one who dislikes it#I mean the entire set up of BNHA's world is basically  s c r e a m i n g  to get deconstructed#any story that starts with 'oh 90% of the population what superpowers and the other 10% are treated like scum'#should fucking address that???#but instead whoever the fuck wrote it went ahead and gave Izuku a fucking superpower#no???? fuck you?????????#THEY EVEN HAD THE FUCKING SET UP OF HOW HE COULD BECOME A HERO WHILE BEING QUIRKLESS#BY USING HIS OBSERVANT AND INTELLIGENT NATURE TO OUTWIT HIS OPONENTS YOU ASSHATS#like okay imagine a story where izuku is quirkless#all might is initially reluctant to train him but izuku starts doing dangerous training himself so he steps in to avoid serious damage#and it becomes clear that izuku isn't gonna give up on being a hero so all might goes 'alright i'll help you'#and the longer they train the more he realizes that izuku is actually pretty good?? really good even!#so the entrance exam comes and izuku pretty much fails that and lands in a non hero course#but all might convinces him not to give up because he's seen izuku's potential by now#so izu works to get up to the tournament arc#(which i know jack shit about bare with me)#and he  DESTROYS  everyone#because he's got their quirks and fighting styles down and nobody expects a quirkless kid to go that fuckin hard#so now he's in hero course and while his classmates have respect for him a lot of pro heroes are being bitches to him#and those heroes should be good ones like present mic who are otherwise real nice#and who don't mean badly but are just ignorant#and who learn to broaden their world view just like all might did#WHICH WOULD SHOW THAT EVERYONE EVEN THE BEST PEOPLE HAVE THINGS TO LEARN AND ACTUAL FLAWS#and that's not even getting into how much better bakugou's arc would be with izuku ACTUALLY being quirkless#anyway what i'm getting at is that bnha should've explored a quirkless deku like the disability metaphore it was shaping up to be#and that's it thanks for coming to my ted talk#my posts

What if Curious had actually killed Toga during the MLA arc?
I’m not sure if Curious would kill Toga, she did want to make that story about her descent into madness, but let’s say that she dies by accident from that various explosions.
Tumblr media
The most immediate effect, aside from the obvious fact that Curious is still alive, is that Jin may not be able to activate the Sadman's Parade. He got past his mental blocks because Toga's life was in danger. He still might be able to activate it if he found out she was dead and he was suffering from the torture tactics that Skeptic was using, but if he doesn't, then the League will lose the battle with the MLA since Sadman Parade played such a huge part in their victory. Let's say that doesn't happen and things play out as normal. The problem comes after Re-Destro surrenders. Because if he does, I'm not sure if Tomura would take it. We've seen before what happened when the yakuza killed Magne. And unlike that past situation, Tomura is in complete control here. He holds all the power, the enemy is at his mercy, and he could potentially wipe them out with "Decay". He may just start killing people as revenge for what happened to Toga. However, I think that would be too short-sighted for Tomura at this point. I think he would use the MLA like he did in canon, but with that same resentment he had for the Yakuza. He may ask for Curious' life as penance, but would probably wait to play his hand. Still, Curious may write that story about Toga and use it as propaganda. She could just fill in the blanks and turn her into a tragic figure for the cause, similar to what happened to Spinner.
After that, it's going to take some serious convincing to keep Jin in line. Considering how close they were, I can imagine him wanting to take revenge for what they did. Because at least when he was dealing with the yakuza, they had each other, but now Jin is left to himself and may become even worse mentally as time passes. A lot could come from that, such as him trying to attack the MLA or leaving the LOV. Which could affect his friendship with Hawks, either distancing himself more or growing an even deeper bond with him. Which, again, could affect a lot of how the two interact later. As for the war, none of the people that Toga kills are dead, and she never has that interaction with Uraraka. Which may affect the speech she gives to the civilians about letting Izuku in, as she was thinking of Toga the entire time and that interaction, but it’s hard to say. Tomura may end up killing Skeptic not too long after escaping, finally getting some revenge for Toga. The last big change comes during the fight between All For One and the heroes. Without Toga around, Izuku isn't pulled with her to Okuto Island. Which means he would be with the rest of the group to fight Tomura in the floating prison. There also wouldn't be anyone around to use Twice's blood. It's too early to say what would come from those, especially Jin’s blood, but that would be a byproduct of her death.

What Happens When Society Fails Those Who Could Succeed - A Bakugo Katsuki Analysis
Tumblr media
I started this a while ago, but I’ve seen others delve into this topic and I wanted to share as well. This delves into to hero society’s affects on Bakugo Katsuki’s upbringing, his worldview, his self-view, and Izuku’s involvement in breaking down the ideas society has drilled into his head.
A lot of people like to ignore the fact that Katsuki is a 14-year-old kid at the start of the series and that much of his life, attitude and disposition of the world have been completely shaped by the adults and society around him.
What do you expect a kid with potential to turn into when they are warped in such a way by a society that dictates that they need to be strong, or nothing at all? What about when your only value is based around a sliding scale of strength and weakness? What happens when that kid’s only source of help comes in the form of a reckless, selfless child who defies all sense of logic and reason (Izuku)?
Growing up, Bakugo was constantly praised for being strong, having a powerful quirk and being generally the smartest person in the room at any given time. He could arguably be considered a prodigy, and much of what he sees and learns feels beneath him -- because it's already on his mind. He is a kid with natural god-given talent that everyone around him immediately recognizes as above average.
Even as a toddler, he was constantly a step ahead of everyone else. Due to this, people developed a lot of high expectations for him at a young age -- and it doesn't help that he has a naturally competitive streak that makes him constantly want to prove himself and live up to these expectations; even surpass them.
Always being at the top of his class and being ahead of the curve mentally fuel the idea in Katsuki's mind that, in the game of life, he is 'winning'. Yet, at the same time, none of it is ever enough. Other's high expectations of him cause him to build extremely high expectations of himself; expectations that border on unrealistic. They also inflate his ego exponentially when this praise gets reaffirmed time and time again.
Certainly, in a situation where you're raised on other people's praise and validation, it is completely understandable that you would put a lot of emotional emphasis on other people's opinions of you. On top of that, he gives off such a natural and convincing air of confidence that people can't help but feel that he is reliable, despite his attitude. People are awed by him, and all of it feeds into the mental image he has constructed of himself, and the world as a whole. It's the whole reason for a lot of how he acts. He builds an image of himself based on the praise of those around him -- and even Izuku also feeds into this mentality by worshipping the literal ground Katsuki walks on as a kid.
Tumblr media
This mentality seems to be working fine for him until Izuku's very presence starts to throw a wrench into everything Katsuki has been raised to believe.
Izuku completely defies logic to Katsuki. Izuku does not fit the societal norm and, beyond what others have taught him, Izuku is Katsuki’s only real hint that the world might not be quite what he thinks it is, and that his idea of what it means to be strong may not be a ‘one-size fits all’ defenition.
Izuku is a quirkless kid; weak and generally mild-mannered. He doesn't have any self-confidence and is a big crybaby. Yet, Izuku still believes that he can be strong and become a hero -- when Katsuki has always been told the opposite. Katsuki recognizes that this may be some version of strength he is unaware of, and it raises BIG RED FLAGS in his mind.
Where many of Katsuki's other childhood friends were barely more than acquaintances who he forgot over time, Izuku immediately caught Katsuki's interest and spiked his curiosity. Like everyone else in his life, Izuku praised Katsuki and told him all the things he wanted to hear -- but Izuku was also unique and intelligent. Izuku was the first person who actually seemed like they could stand near Katsuki's level; like they might be actual competition.
Then, Bakugo got his quirk and Izuku is diagnosed as quirkless. The reactions of everyone around him to this news, including Izuku’s own reaction, only go back to telling him what society has told him all along. Strength is everything, and quirks are a part of that desired strength. This is another moment that reaffirms Katsuki's world view. "I won, you lose. I really am the best."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Though Bakugo is super aggressive on the outside, he is a very self-critical character and often means the opposite of whatever he is saying. Especially when it comes to his self-confidence and bravado.
People often complain when watching the series about him telling people to 'die' and "got to hell", or calling other people "extras", and I don't think enough people understand -- that is just how he speaks. Those are things he says out of reflexive anger. None of those words ever have any real meaning.
It's more important to pay more attention to the moments in which he is more reserved/quiet. He suffers from both a superiority complex and inferiority complex, as well as paranoia (much of which revolves around his warped idea of how Deku, and other people he values, perceive him). Much of what he says is just empty words or him trying to project an image of self-confidence.
He wears his pride like a suit of armor to hide all the things he doesn't want to admit about himself. He attempts to make up for his own insecurities by getting angry. And he learned this at home from his mother, who is much the same as him.
From the little that we have seen of his parents throughout the series so far, his parents love him and provide him with everything he could possibly need -- but his mother often insults him and throws harsh truths in his face to counteract his cocky nature. One of the most notable instances of this is when All Might and Aizawa are talking to his parents about moving the kids to the dorms and his mom says "If you hadn't have gotten yourself caught by the villains in the first place, none of this would have happened".
That comment feeds directly into his mental breakdown in front of Izuku where he blames himself for All Might's downfall, flat out saying that "If I hadn't been kidnapped by villains, then it never would have happened".
Tumblr media
It gets me every time if you go back to the 8th episode of the series, near the VERY BEGINNING -- right after he's defeated by Deku for the first time in combat training -- and the episode literally starts with him having a full on panic attack.
He's trembling, hands shaking, hyperventilating, the whole deal. And that particular incident was triggered not only by Deku defeating him and standing up to him (which completely contradicts the Izuku that Bakugo has grown up with all his life and feeds into Bakugo's own fear that he is weak), but is also brought on by the fact that he notices how severely Deku allowed himself to be injured JUST TO WIN THE EXCERSIZE. Again, this idea that even the weak can be strong. It also doesn’t help that he cares about Izuku and doesn’t want to see him get hurt.
And I'm sorry -- but below does not look like the face of someone who's pissed off to me. He looks PETRIFIED.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izuku doesn't just piss Bakugo off -- Izuku TERRIFIES him.
There are actually multiple instances of him reacting like this to Izuku injuring himself throughout the series: sludge villain, sports festival fight against Todoroki and the training camp where Bakugo was kidnapped being the major ones I can think of beyond current managa events. Bakugo may claim to ‘hate’ Deku, but he DOES NOT like to see Deku hurt himself to win, or to save.
Bakugo saw this 'self-sacrificing' trait in Izuku even as a young kid, and it freaked him out. It made him feel weak. It made him question himself and the world around him.
This fear starts with the incident where Bakugo fell off the log as a kid.
Tumblr media
It wasn't a life threatening situation, but it was the first situation where Izuku rushed to Bakugo's aid with complete disregard to himself AND when everyone else refused to help.
Bakugo's friends, teachers and parents all held him to such high expectations of intelligence, power and strength -- so of course those would be the values that he grows up idolizing. No one ever really offered him help, because they assumed he didn't need it -- and then Izuku comes rushing in offering it to him, risking his life to do so, and Katsuki's only thought is "Why?! Why do you feel like you have to save me when you can't even protect yourself? Needing to be saved means that I'm weak! Do you think that I'm weak?" I have recently watched another show that had a similar scenario and that character explained what I believe Katsuki felt in this situation BEAUTIFULLY.  ------ “It felt like [he] was trying to say I was weak or something. [He] was intruding on feelings [he] didn’t have any right to – and I hated it. Then that got me thinking about everyone else in my life. They never treated me like I was a weakling; someone who needed his hand held. They had faith that I would continue to grow and they let me do it; helping me without ever making me feel weak.”
Izuku continues to do this again and again throughout the series when it comes to Bakugo: the slime villain incident, the training camp, etc -- all without fully comprehending how his actions affect Bakugo. Each time this happens, Bakugo feels weak and utterly helpless to save himself OR to stop Izuku. It's all his worst fears realized.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's like living his worst nightmare over and over without end in sight.
Going back to the concept of him being offered 'help', very few people have offered him this throughout his life -- and they all saw it as something he never really needed. It's like Katsuki's personality and mental state is a huge sign screaming 'I DON'T UNDERSTAND! NOTHING MAKES SENSE! IT MAKES ME MAD AND UPSET! SOMEONE, HELP ME.' and everyone just ignores it.
--- During the log incident - all his friends say 'Oh well, he's fine. He'll pick himself back up.' and Izuku is the only one who offers to help.
--- The sludge villain incident - all the pro heroes say "We can't help right now! You'll just have to hold on, kid!" and again Izuku is the only one who offers help.
--- After his and Deku’s first fight at Ground Beta, which utterly breaks him, all the other students just let him leave alone and only Izuku rushes to help. All Might sees him upset and crying after this and says, “Oh, I guess he’s already over it” -- when that obviously wasn’t the case.
--- And then -- to top it all off -- after he was kidnapped by the LOV and held captive for 3 days without help he wasn't even given time to process! He was taken away by police, ridiculed by his mother, forced to go back to school where his teachers acted like nothing happened, jumped into the provisional hero licensing exam with all those helpless feelings rolling around inside of him and on top of it found out that Izuku received All Might's power -- a power that he had spent his whole life putting on a pedestal. And he goes to Izuku for help.
The fact that everyone just brushed him off like he was someone who didn't need help is just disgusting. The only instance where an adult in his life acknowledged that he needed it was AFTER he already had a full on mental breakdown in front of Izuku, blaming himself for everything that had gone wrong and thinking that he had somehow been living his life wrong all this time. Only then did All Might and Aizawa think, ‘Yeah, maybe we failed this kid.’
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Keep in mind during all of this that he is 15-16-years-old! He's trying to figure out how to deal with this shit all on his own, with the only person he feels comfortable opening up to being Izuku - someone who he has so much trouble understanding.
At the heart of Katsuki is a place of fear. Fear of being weak, fear of being helpless, fear of failure, fear of losing his friends, fear of himself, most certainly fear of Izuku -- and fear FOR IZUKU. He is a boy who lives in a constant state of panic, worry and paranoia. He is lonely and beats down on himself a lot.
Tumblr media
The series deals a lot with how hero society has completely failed it's future generations, but Katsuki is a case where they should have succeeded -- yet ultimately they failed him too. He has all the makings of what could be one of the greatest heroes of all time, yet those around him only focused on the parts of him that could make him great and chose to ignore all the parts that would ruin him from the inside out.
They put him high up on a pedestal only to knock him down and refuse to help him back up. They made him feel like even asking for help was something that made him 'lesser', and it caused him to see other people that way too.
Izuku is the heart of Katsuki's growth, because in every way that Izuku succeeds, Katsuki fails.
I would actually argue that out of anyone in the series since coming to UA, Katsuki has experienced the highest amount of personal failure. He has been knocked down time and time again but ultimately wants to pick himself back up to prove that he deserves to be there. He fights for his friends and tries his best at everything he does. He doesn't always get it right, and he says things that might offend others, but other than Izuku, he's the most driven person there and would utterly destroy himself to reach his goals.

People have a limit. Something that pushes them over the edge, something that makes them snap.
This limit could be related to anything. A movie making you walk out of the theatre for terrible acting.
Rage quitting a game because of one fight that is impossible to beat for now real reason.
Having a long day at work, and then coming home to a screaming child it could be a limit.
For Midoriya Izuku his limit was reached with Bakugou Katsuki.
 -0-
Izuku grew up around his best friend Bakugou Katsuki. As little kids, they played together often. He called him Kacchan as a friendly little boy.
Kacchan was a little boy who was a little mean to people. Some little boys are like that. Usually, schools or parents would fix that. For Kacchan, they didn’t.
The school because he was a skilled kid. He learned to read early, was a bright kid and also got his Quirk a bit early. A very powerful Quirk enabling him to sweat a nitroglycerin-like compound that exploded. Not actual nitroglycerin, but close enough.
“A future hero.” the teachers would say. The school district was a low-ranking one and was desperate to get recognition.
Kacchan’s parents tried to correct him when they caught him being mean, but both worked long hours and struggled with trying to figure out when was too much. Both were victims of abuse from their own parents and worried over if it was too much or too little how they raised their son.
  Then there was Izuku.
The doctor he went to said he was Quirkless. And everyone knew the Quirkless were worthless. No one cared about Izuku compared to Kacchan. But it was okay because while Kacchan was mean he wasn’t cruel.
Then it all changed. Izuku didn’t know why. He didn’t know why offering his hand to Kacchan made him angry. He didn’t know why Kacchan yelled. He didn’t understand anything.
Izuku became the joke. The punching bag of Kacchan and soon the rest of the school.
  Freak. Worthless. Useless.
He felt small and tired and every day he dragged himself home feeling drained of energy. It was hard. It didn’t help that he had health issues. He couldn’t put on a decent weight. His skin often felt like it was burning up. Some days he couldn’t breathe he felt so heavy.
His mother worried. She was the only bright spot in his life. The only person to care. She fought hard for him.
When he was eight they tried to claim he was cheating on a test. He had to be, they argued.
She demanded they investigate properly, including calling in the investigators from the board who all had lie detector Quirks or Quirks that let them be able to tell if people cheated.
  Six kids got caught.
None of them were Izuku and the school was harshly reprimanded for blaming him.
They tried to mark down his grades at age nine.
Inko dragged the board into it again and this time now, they had someone to watch over their marking. An idea from the head of the board given she had a Quirkless daughter herself and knew the patterns from when her daughter was in school.
Izuku knew she would do anything for him.
“Bet your mom fucking cries herself to sleep knowing she has a worthless Deku as a son,” Kacchan sneered at Izuku when they were ten. “She probably hates you you freak.”
They were at the park. Izuku just wanted to play on the swings. Kacchan was there with his friends- or lackeys whichever he preferred. Kacchan was convinced Izuku had followed him, convinced that he was so important to Izuku that he would waste his time like that.
Izuku was ten. He knew his mother loved him and cared for him deep in his soul and he knew Kacchan was lying. He was saying mean things to hurt Izuku.
He brought his mother into it.
Izuku stared at Kacchan… at Bakugou and felt something snap.
  Everyone has a limit.
Izuku’s was his mother. And Bakugou crossed it.
  It changed everything.
Izuku stared at Bakugou for a long time, enough that the other boy began feeling uncomfortable before turning and walking away. The single act was enough to startle the other boy, as well as the other two who were with him.
Bakugou watched Izuku go with wide eyes before scowling.
“Useless freak,” he grunted. He turned and stopped, suddenly feeling dizzy for a second before shaking his head. Probably didn’t drink enough water again, he figured.
Izuku walked home in a daze, feeling sick for some reason. He shivered as he tried to grasp the handle of his apartment door, laying his to hot head on the cold door and breathing in.
Why… why did he feel like that? He was fine. Angry at Bakugou, sure but he was fine earlier… you don’t get sick that fast. It wasn’t possible.
He managed to get the door open, stumbling into the apartment, his legs too heavy and his arms like lead as he tried to move.
“Izuku…” he heard his mother speak but he couldn’t respond, his tongue too heavy and a sudden icy cold sweeping through his body as his knees buckled.”IZUKU!”
 -0-
Inko dropped to her knees, a hand going to her son’s neck and checking his pulse.
  Slow but steady. Good.
  Oh, thank God.
She grabbed her phone from her pocket and dialled for an ambulance. She kept the phone to her ear as she tried to focus on five things she could see.
The couch. The book she had dropped in her scramble to get to Izuku. The ugly carpet she kept meaning to replace. The stupid wedding photo she kept meaning to throw out now that she caught Hizashi actually cheating thanks to his mistress finding out he was married. Izuku’s red shoes.
She could not panic. She could not panic.
Do not Panic! She hissed mentally as the phone connected.
  “What’s your emergency?”
“My son collapsed. He was at the park and came home, just suddenly dropped when he came in.” Inko said. “His pulse is steady.”
“Alright,” the operator said soothingly. “And this can’t be his Quirk?”
“Izuku’s Quirkless. He’s had problems with kids using theirs on him before as a bullying tactic so it might be someone else’s but I don’t think so.” Inko reported. After she had gone after the fourth kid’s family they had stopped. She knew they kept doing so, she wasn’t stupid but Izuku wouldn’t tell her and the school played dumb. At least they stopped trying to charge her for new uniforms when she had also threatened them with demanding a release of all their videotapes, with the help of a friend at the law firm she worked at who had a Quirk that let him get ANYTHING deleted from a system.
“Shit,” she heard over the phone and sighed in relief.
Quirkless people were discriminated against. However, it was often in subtle ways most people didn’t think about. Microaggressions, her boss had told her when she came to him and asked for help understanding the laws to protect her son. Outright harm was sadly common as well, but luckily it was improper to do so. You could be an asshole but hurting them? Very improper and Japanese people hated being improper. So Izuku dealt mostly with microaggressions from adults. Children not so much.
Inko had gotten good at picking up people who would be cruel to him. And from the sounds of it, the operator was not one of them.
Giving the address, she stayed on the line while sitting next to her son.
The ambulance came quickly and she opened the door to wave them in. Three of them though only two came up the steps to her apartment. Her building didn’t have an elevator sadly, the building over two hundred years old before the time of Quirks.
They came into her apartment quickly and checked him over themselves, one of them frowning.
“... are you sure your son is Quirkless?” Asked a blue-haired female paramedic. Inko blinked.
“Yes. He was diagnosed at four.”
  “How?” The other woman asked.
“The doctor said his toe joint-“ both paramedics interrupted her with groans.
“Ben!” The woman yelled, going to stick her head outside the open door to yell at their driver. “We got a possible unknown Quirk!” She told the man, while Inko stared in confusion before the other paramedic, a brunette man, spoke up.
“The toe joint theory is false. Got disproven about… five years back? Guess they didn’t call you in for a re-evaluation if your kid never showed signs.” Inko stared at him before she felt a very familiar feeling in her gut.
Anger. Raw hot anger curled its way up inside of her like a snake, filling her stomach with rage.
  “Oh.” She hissed. “I see.”
“Well, you’re terrifying.” The man muttered as his partner came back in.
“My Quirk is Medical Check. I can tell what injuries people have. Your son is suffering extreme Quirk exhaustion. I’m talking probably one of the worst cases I’ve seen.” The woman told her. “He needs fluids, heat packs and the hospital. Now.”
Inko followed them as they took her son, pausing to lock her door as she ran after them to get into the ambulance. As she drove with them she began texting her law firm.
She had some things to do. Mostly plan on how to best terrify the doctor's office and potentially sue the doctor who misdiagnosed her son and never called back when the test was proven false. If it was possible anyway.
When they got to the hospital she put her phone away and ran after the cot when it was transferred to nurses, only being stopped by a nurse who needed her to fill out forms. She did so while her son was being checked over.
The forms were simple, though do once she ended up writing unknown in the Quirk box, including the words of the paramedic.
She then got directed to a sterile waiting room filled with magazines, other people and posters of heroes smiling and saying random messages that were supposedly comforting or something.
She waited quietly, eyes on the clock until a nurse came in.
“Mrs. Midoriya?” The nurse called and she stood, walking over to her. “Right this way. Your son was stabilized.” Inko followed the nurse who led her to a room where a doctor was looking over a clipboard, her son in a bed with multiple blankets, an IV line and what she thought were heat packs around him. It was a pediatric room, with bright walls and superheroes on them.
She thought he’d like it when he woke up.
“Ah, Mrs. Midoriya. I’m Doctor Aizawa.” The man offered his hand and Inko shook it. “Your son is… stable.”
  “But not okay?” She asked.
“Okay is… harder to describe.” Said the doctor. He frowned, scratching his cheek. He’s handsome, Inko thought. Her worry for her son made her latch on to stupid details such as the man in front of her was handsome. Dark hair, dark eyes. Nice and tall. “Your son is suffering extreme Quirk exhaustion. In fact from his records we have on file it looks like he’s suffered it for years. It just happened to have fully kicked in now.” The doctor motioned to the bed. “His body temperature is extremely low and he shows signs of malnutrition but from what I understand you have been trying to help with that. Various vitamins and diets?”
“Yes. Are you saying he’s been suffering it for years but no one knew?!?” Inko demanded, heart in her throat and anger still in her gut.
“Quirk exhaustion can appear as chronic fatigue if it never reaches a serious point.” The doctor replied, looking at his clipboard again. “If the person white the right Quirk never checks it can be missed if the Quirk itself is passive. Like your son’s appears to be.”
“Do we know what it is?” Inko demanded, turning to look back at her son. He looked so small in the bed, swaddled up in blankets and heat packs. He shivered and her hands clenched. How was he cold, she wondered. How was he cold under so much?
“Sadly no. My Quirk enables me to stop the usage of Quirks on myself, so I won’t be able to tell.” The doctor said. Inko frowned, glancing at him and waiting for an explanation. “Part of my Quirk is that this way I am able to tell what a person’s Quirk is when they use it on me. I don’t know the full details but I can tell what it does in the basic terms.”
“And that’s why you’re a doctor?” Inko asked. He looked surprised and she blushed. “Izuku loves Quirks. He’ll probably ask you a million questions when he wakes up and ask to write it all down in a notebook. He loves analyzing.”
“Ah,” chuckled Dr. Aizawa. “Possible his Quirk deals with other Quirks then, that’s a common side effect. Becoming interested in other Quirks though usually it’s just wanting to know what they do. That was how it was for me and my cousin.”
  “Cousin?” Inko asked.
“Ah yes. My cousin is a pro-hero. His Quirk enables him to stop other people’s Quirks when they’re working. He can erase all but mutation types. I was going to ask permission to contact him. I often do so in cases like this. As long as it’s not mutation he can tell what your son’s Quirk main purpose is.”
  “Main purpose?”
“Some Quirks have multipurpose Quirks. For example, Tanaka- the paramedic you met- Medical Check enables her to be able to tell what someone’s medical concern is at the moment, but it also enables her to retain vast amounts of information on medical history and enables her to know what the exact tool needed for a patient is. It’s why she’s such a good paramedic.” Dr. Aizawa informed her. “We can figure out the main purpose and any side effects will then come later.”
“Thank you, please call him,” Inko replied and the doctor left, leaving Inko to wait by her son’s side, hoping he’d wake up.
He didn’t by the time a tall dark-haired man in a black jumpsuit stumbled in, a visitor badge on a lanyard around his neck along with a long scarf. Dr. Aizawa followed him, looking annoyed.
“Hello,” The man in the jumpsuit said in exhaustion. “I’m Aizawa Shouta, the Pro-Hero Eraserhead.”
“Eraserhead?” Inko asked. “My son knows you.”
“... what?” The man looked startled. Inko chuckled, unable to help it.
“My son. He loves heroes, wants to be one. He found out about you and just became obsessed. Said you’re a little like him, fighting with no Quirk.” The man blinked and then coughed, rubbing the back of his head.
“That’s nice.” He muttered. Dr. Aizawa snickered from behind him and his cousin shot him a nasty glare. “I’m going to use my Quirk to disable your son’s. I should have the basic idea of what it is then.” Inko nodded and watched as the man’s eyes went red and his hair floated up along with his scarf. When his eyes went to her son, she gasped, feeling a sudden dizziness. She stumbled slightly and grabbed the table she was sitting by.
“Mrs. Midoriya!” Dr. Aizawa cried out, going to check on her. She blinked and let him check her over as the other Aizawa dropped his Quirk and turned to them. “Was this her son’s Quirk?” Dr. Aizawa asked.
“Yes,” Eraserhead replied. “Her son has a bond type Quirk, meaning he forms bonds with people and I think boosts their Quirk.”
“Oh, is it drawing too much energy from him?” The doctor asked in worry. “I’ll contact a specialist in bonding Quirks.”
“Why are you spending so much time on this?” Inko asked the doctor. “I mean I’m happy, don’t get me wrong but… Izuku is just a little boy who had an unknown Quirk.”
“Bonding Quirks are dangerous,” Eraserhead was the one to reply, facing her. “Bonding Quirks that affect others? More so. There was a villain who had one over fifty years ago. By bonding with people he could heal them by passing the wounds onto others. He killed twenty heroes and over a hundred civilians.”
“There’s also the chance his bonding with others could be accidental and could have a villain bond to him and increase his Quirk,” Dr. Aizawa told her. “We need to be careful.” Inko nodded her understanding. “Shouta, can you stay on-site for a while? I’ll have to report this and in case a villain is tipped off…”
“I will.” Eraserhead promised before yawning. “I’ll sleep in the cot if that’s okay?” He asked Inko. “I had a case that had me up for the last few days.” Inko waved him to the spare cot in the room normally meant for parents and he collapsed into it with a groan.
Dr. Aizawa left to go and make his calls. Inko herself decided to go and get a drink from a machine, leaving the room quietly.
Walking down the hospital halls, she found her way to a vending machine where she put in some money to get a water bottle. Waiting for it, she heard a familiar voice from behind her. She turned to see a familiar blonde woman scowling at a blonde boy.
Bakugou Mitsuki and her son, Bakugou Katsuki.
Inko and Mitsuki used to go to the same high school, and were friends of a sort. Enough that when their kids were younger and they had learned they lived in the same areas, they started hanging out again. But Mitsuki was a model, and her husband a fairly popular fashion designer. Often they were out and about with work, meaning that Inko and Mitsuki were restricted to monthly meet-ups.
Inko didn’t mind. Mitsuki was a nice enough woman but she was a lot to handle.
“Calm down brat, the doctors said you were fine!” Mitsuki told her son.
“What do they know? My explosion was way less powerful than before!”
Inko suddenly knew. She stood there and watched the two and just knew. She knew deep in her gut what had happened.
As if in a trance, she walked up to them. Mitsuki saw her first, and a look of concern crossed her face. After all, she was in the pediatric part of the hospital.
“Inko! Is Izu-chan okay?” the woman asked. Inko didn’t answer, instead staring down Katsuki.
“Bakugou Katsuki.” she began in a very clear tone, controlling her anger. “What did you say to my son?” He froze, eyes wide before they darted to the side. Mitsuki began scowling.
“Brat! Didn’t I fucking tell you to leave Izu-chan the fuck alone! What the hell are you thinking, still being mean to your friend?!”
“They’re not friends,” Inko spoke up, still staring at him. “Izuku is a terrible liar but I can tell when someone explodes his belongings. I just never had proof.”
Mitsuki paled before her eyes flashed and cheeks reddened. She might have managed to become more affluent and gain a fair amount of money from modelling and fashion, but she grew up like Inko, terrified and constantly trying to make ends meet. Secretaries like Inko, even ones working for a law firm, did not make enough to cover replacing clothes all the time.
“Bakugou Katsuki,” Mitsuki snarled through her teeth and Katuski actually paled himself, looking at her. “We will have a talk later, young man.” she continued through her teeth.
The look her son carried told Inko that he knew the anger Mitsuki felt then wasn’t the fireworks or the cherry bomb temper his mother usually had. Loud screaming, and snapping, but then she was done. Got the anger out.
Her anger then was the colder anger she carried, born from years of abuse and terror she had felt as a kid.
“What did you say?” Inko asked him again.
“... Told him you didn’t love him and he was a worthless Deku,” Katsuki admitted. Inko closed her eyes as Mitsuki jerked away from her son, a look of pure anger crossing her face before her fists clenched.
“Bakugou Katsuki, me and your father WILL be talking about this,” Mitsuki grounded out, the words sounding as if it took everything she had not to scream them. “And expect a very lengthy punishment.” The shocked look Katsuki flashed her made Inko’s heart cold.
“My son came home from the park and collapsed,” Inko said. “Turns out the doctor used a test on him that was outdated five years back, but we were never called in for a revaluation. He came and collapsed due to Quirk exhaustion.”
“Son of a bitch.” Mitsuki whispered, her eyes widening. Inko nodded, still looking at the young boy.
Katsuki looked shocked before a look of pure anger crossed his face. His hands clenched and Inko wanted to shake him. How dare he be angry her son has a Quirk. How dare he look like that.
She didn’t though. Instead, she kept speaking.
“It's a bonding Quirk. When he bonds with someone, their Quirk increases, we think.” Her eyes flashed to Mitsuki who made a choked noise at what she said before Inko continued to speak, “A man who could erase Quirks temporarily came in and erased his. I felt dizzy and confused for a second, weaker.”
“... No,” Katsuki said, it clicking for him too. “No! THAT FUCKING FREAK HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY STRENGTH! WITH MY QUIRK!” he screamed at Inko. A few nurses in the halls turned to look their way and a security guard who had been down the hall turned around. Inko didn’t move.
“If I’m right and he snapped the bond, then you owe him a lot. And you ruined it.” Inko told him before turning around. Katsuki screamed again but his mother moved him away from Inko, grabbing a nurse to speak and keeping a grip on her son as Inko walked away.
Was it cruel to say that to a ten-year-old? Inko wondered as she walked back to her son’s room.
  Possibly.
  But she didn’t regret it.

Izuku blinked his eyes open, squinting at the bright light from the ceiling. He closed his eyes again, groaning as his brain felt like it was full of sludge, his mind struggling to understand what was going on. He was cold for some reason, but he could feel blankets on himself.
“Izuku!” his mother cried out, running to him from the doorway into his room. “You’re okay?”
“Mom?” Izuku slurred. He shivered, feeling cold, so cold. “Mom where am I?” Izuku asked.
“The hospital honey,” Inko told him, reaching up to run a hand over his head. “You collapsed after coming home from the park.”
Izuku hummed and then shivered again, wrapping the blankets around him as if he was a butterfly in a cocoon.
  “I’m cold,” he whined.
“I know baby,” Inko said. She tucked the blankets in more as a doctor he didn’t recognize came in, along with a guy in a black jumpsuit holding a coffee mug.
“Ah, he is awake.” the doctor said. He bowed his head and introduced himself as Doctor Aizawa. “And this is my cousin Eraserhead.”
Izuku blinked at the doctor’s word, trying to understand. His mother looked at him with worry while the doctor walked over to check his temperature and check his vitals.
“... Eraserhead? THe hero?” Izuku asked, blinking rapidly. “I… I saw your fight with Angel Dust.” Eraserhead frowned.
“That fight?” he shook his head. “How did you find the stream?”
“I… I got hit by a classmate’s Quirk. Makes you stay up for days. Couldn’t sleep and found it.” Izuku admitted. The said classmate had actually hit him on accident and felt awful about it. Had been really nice until her family moved. He missed her, she had been one of the few who wasn’t scared off by K… Bakugou. He shivered again and wrapped the blanket tighter around him.
“Ah.” Eraserhead nodded. He fell silent after that, the doctor instead taking over.
“Vitals are fine. Core temperature is still low but slowly rising. If your theory is right Mrs. Midoriya, then it is possible part of the bond drew heat from the other boy and losing it dropped his own temperature.” The doctor said, causing Izuku to frown. He looked at the doctor, his head slowly feeling less foggy.
  “Huh?”
“Izuku… honey. You have a Quirk.”
  He wanted to throw up.
 -0-
  A Quirk.
He had a Quirk all this time. Every single damn year since he was born, he’d had a Quirk.
And it was thanks to some stupid doctor who used an outdated test and the doctor’s office who never called he was tormented for years.
Izuku stayed under his blankets, not wanting to leave as Dr. Aizawa left, saying he had spoken to the specialist and they would come soon.
His mother left as well, heading out to speak with her boss and to settle things with the school.
“It sucks.” A voice from Eraserhead startled Izuku who had forgotten he was in the room, laying on the cot. “It sucks this happened to you. If you want to punch someone or scream I’m here.”
“... if people knew earlier everyone would want to be my friend. They will now.” Izuku voiced. “Like K… Bakugou. Everyone wants to be his friend even though he’s mean cause they think they’ll be cool with him.”
“Mhmm.” Aizawa hummed. “Me and Minato, your doctor, were in a foster home when I went to UA. When I got into the hero course they suddenly bragged about it, wanted to be around me and be my friend.” He chuckled a little. “I told them no. In unkind terms. Mostly swear words.”
Izuku snickered at that before falling silent. The two laid in the room together silently for a little while longer.
“...I don’t want to bond with Bakugou again. But if mom was right and he-”
“No,” Eraserhead said. He sat up from the cot he had been laying on to go and sit beside Izuku, staring at him. “You don’t owe him a damn thing. If you broke the bond, then it was over something you felt went too far. From what I can tell he’s been bullying you. You do not owe him friendship or respect or anything.” The older man told him, holding his eyes. “No one owes anyone anything.”
“But he wants to be a hero. And heroes need to be strong.” Izuku said. Eraserhead shook his head at that.
“Then he needed this wake-up call. Bullies don’t last long in hero courses if we can help it. It’s better he learns that his actions have consequences now than later when he’s older and in a hero course but gets removed from said course.” Eraserhead reached out to lay a hand on Izuku’s head. “You do not owe him anything kid. Don’t let him make you think you do.”
Izuku laid in bed, staring at the ceiling while Eraserhead went back to bed. He felt a sudden deep thought.
  Eraserhead was right.
He didn’t owe Bakugou a single thing. He didn’t owe him his friendship, his time or his Quirk.
He was Izuku. He was going to be a hero.
  And he owed him nothing.

This spiralled off a Tumblr ask and I couldn't resist it. It was to much fun. I hope you guys are enjoying this! Also, yes. Tags are right, we get some Bakugou redemption later on though that will take a while. He's a stubborn brat.
The Aizawa/Inko pairing is the only one I have planned and originally it wasn't even planned. Just me kinda playing with a thought and oops, down the rabbit hole.
Little bit on Aizawa and his cousin: Both are related and were kept together due to this. Their parents were killed when Minato was about ten, and Aizawa was about seven. When Aizawa got into the hero course, Minato was just graduating high school. He got custody of Aizawa and the two left the foster home. Minato is the only medical professional OTHER then Recovery Girl that Aizawa trusts to treat him.
Minato will not play a huge role other then as a doctor and Shinsou's dad but you will get references to the man.

85. Fool's Gold - Bakugou grows even more jealous of Izuku having One for All, and his relationship with All Might.  He thinks that if he could just prove himself to be more worthy, All Might would change his mind and name him his successor.  But in reality, he ends up jeopardizing the relationship they already have.
86. somewhere down the road - The final deadline for Nighteye’s predictions passes, and All Might lives.  He debates telling Izuku, as even though it would be a weight off the boy’s mind, he doesn’t want to jinx it.  He will still die eventually after all.
87. Just For You - All Might has certain rules and boundaries for fan interactions that he completely ignores for Izuku.
88. if these walls could talk (their whispers would be maddening) - Montage of training accidents in a ‘cursed’ ua gym
89. If Only I Could... - Nighteye tells Mirio about One for All, including that he thinks he’s more deserving than Izuku and he plans to pressure him into giving it up.  Mirio struggles with the knowledge that his mentor, someone he respected more than anything, only saw him as a replacement for All Might, meanwhile watching Izuku strain under the pressure of that mentor’s impossible expectations.
90. This is a Test Designed to Provoke an Emotional Response - shameless Blade Runner AU
91. Once and for All - Retelling of the Superman story “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?” with All Might.  Some new heroes use much more aggressive and violent tactics against villains while also upstaging All Might.  That, and there general approval from the public cause All Might to question his moral code.
92. Sitting In The Rain - Tsuyu likes to just sit out in the rain sometimes.  Not do anything, just sit there.  Some friends decide to join her.
93. At Sundown - Mysterious creatures start attacking ua every night.  The gang works tirelessly during the day to find the cause and a solution, while defending their school and each other at night.
94. The 1000th time's the charm - Uraraka has been practicing a new move in secret but they just can’t get it right.  She wants it to be perfect before showing it off.  But one attempt gets her seriously hurt while training alone at night in one of the gyms, and she’s too hurt to get up to the phone to call for help.
95. Sunflower Seeds - All Might attempts to start a garden as a new hobby.
96. What It Means To Be Human - Sun god Toshi starts living among people.
97. Eyes on Me - All Might teaches Izuku some unarmed fighting moves to defend himself from bullies.
98. one remains - Izuku has developed all but one of the quirks he’s slated to, and he has no idea what it will be.  Anxiety ensues.
99. Come Back Home - Izuku vanishes from campus and everyone assumes he was kidnapped, but in reality he ran away to try and clear his head after a depressive spiral.  He goes by train as far away as he can until he comes to his senses and calls the others.
100. I Won - Izuku accidentally managed to kill Shigaraki during a skirmish, and while everyone around him praises his heroics, he struggles to deal with the fact that he killed someone.
101. Ivory Tower - All Might grapples with how much izuku suffered as a quirkless person, how he could have done more for quirkless rights in his time as a hero, and how now people may not care as much because he’s retired.
Reminder to credit me if you use any of these prompts, and a special thanks to everyone who submitted titles!

Note
i notice you ship Kacchako- and there's nothing wrong with that but why? (note I haven't seen mha) from what I know, bakugou is a huge asshole who bullied deku a lot, while uraraka seems to be a nice person- i just wanna know why you ship them lol
oh BOY here comes the essay.
Please note that this why I ship kacchako. This is not meant to convince anyone to ship kacchako, but simply my reasons as to why I like these two characters together.
To start off I will openly admit that yes, Bakugou is an asshole. He bullied Deku a lot (probably due to that wonderful inferiority/superiority complex he’s got going on) and in general, is pretty loud and rude to everyone. He makes it a point to let everyone know that they are beneath him and goes out of his way to prove that he’s the best and no one could even hope to compare.
Meanwhile, Uraraka is the exact opposite: sweet, bubbly, and very kind to everyone. She actually wants to be a hero for the money to help her parents out bc she comes from a poor family (which I LOVE but that’s a topic for another meta). She never tries to prove herself to anyone as a result, and just focuses on trying to learn to be the best hero possible (because the better you are, the more money you make).
The most notable difference is their relationship with Deku (and actually this is one of my reasons for shipping them but we’ll get to that). Bakugou was Deku’s former friend and he has a strong dislike toward Deku, stemming from an unhealthy need to prove his superiority in every respect over Deku. Uraraka, on the other hand, is one of Deku’s new and close friends, and they get along really well.
So why do I ship kacchako? Mutual respect, understanding, and potential character growth. Explanation of that below, with manga screencaps.
1. Mutual Respect
This is the major point of their ship for me and it stems from their fight in the Sports Festival.
It’s quite obvious that Uraraka acknowledges Bakugou’s strength, after all, he’s seen as a powerhouse by everyone, and she repeatedly comments on his strength. But it takes a lot to get Bakugou to acknowledge someone. And with Uraraka, he does.
Tumblr media
Aizawa just outright says it. Bakugou goes into the fight knowing that Uraraka is an opponent he needs to be wary of because she made it to the final round. Bakugou doesn’t see the small and sweet bubbly girl everyone else in the crowd is seeing, what he sees is an opponent, and Uraraka notices that. And just before launching her final attack, she thanks him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Actually his reaction to her thanking him is one I love because we’ve never seen that kind of caught-off-guard expression on him before until this moment. To me, it seems that he couldn’t even imagine not taking her seriously because as mentioned before, she made it to the final round so in his mind she has to be strong to do that, and her thanking him for it is making him go “huh? what are you even thanking me for?”.
For her final attack, she drops a meteor shower on his head, he blows it away, and then we get this panel.
Tumblr media
This is the first time in the manga that Bakugou acknowledges that someone nearly took him out. His hand is pounding from Quirk overuse and it’s the first time we see an adverse effect of his Quirk, the blowback from using too strong of an explosion. But more important is the fact that he says “that was close”, explicitly acknowledging that she nearly took him out. Respect.
So then after that Uraraka gets up and rushes at him again to attack, even though she’s clearly shown to be at her limit, and we get this from Bakugou:
Tumblr media
He calls her by name. That’s incredibly important.
Throughout the manga, Bakugou uses nicknames (Deku, Shitty Hair, Flat Face etc.) to keep people at a distance and let them know he doesn’t give a shit about them. Keep in mind that before, he’d used a nickname for Uraraka, calling her Round Face right at the beginning of the fight. But now that she’s driven him to the limit he knows this girl is strong. And here, when he calls her by her name, he’s acknowledging her and her strength. This is the first person in class 1-A that he calls by name (Kirishima also eventually graduates from Shitty Hair to Kirishima, but that’s way later). After this, he doesn’t go back to using Round Face for her either. He keeps using her name when he refers to her, even in his head.
So Uraraka, at her limit, collapses before she even reaches Bakugou and he’s clearly shaken up by that. He was expecting the fight he’d been dreaming of, where he could give his all and fight an opponent that he genuinely respected and saw as strong, and then she collapsed. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was a look of concern, I think it was more of mixed disappointment and shock.
When he re-enters the stands, all his classmates comment on the fight as he goes to sit down. A classmate (Kaminari) says something along the lines of “I can’t believe you could bring yourself to go so hard against such a fragile/small girl”. And in response comes the single line that was catalyst for me shipping kacchako. “Where do you see fragile?”
Tumblr media
This is the first time he’s defended someone other than himself or All Might in this series. It just goes to show that he really does acknowledge Uraraka and her strength, to the point that he’s willing to speak up and say that to others, albeit in a indirect way.
Wayyy later he continues to respect her!
Tumblr media
This is part of a page spread of characters introductions as given by Bakugou and Uraraka’s is the only vaguely positive character introduction Bakugou gives. Everyone else gets something kind of aggressive and along the lines of ‘I’ll beat you’ or ‘you’re weak’ and then Uraraka gets ‘her guts and roundness are acceptable’. Other translations say “her guts and roundness are respectable’ and I’m not sure which is correct, but either way, respect!!
Tumblr media
The fact that one of the times he was smiling during a fight was against Uraraka. If he only smiles when fighting people he consider to be “towering walls” aka challenges, he must have seen Uraraka as one. Further proof of respect!
Over and over in that Sports Festival fight and then after, Horikoshi makes it a point to establish that Bakugou respects Uraraka’s strength. And that’s a major reason that I ship them. I like that dynamic of two people knowing that the other can kick major ass and respecting the hell out of them for it, especially if one character doesn’t look like they can kick ass.
2. Understanding
This goes a little bit more from Uraraka to Bakugou than the other way around, to be honest, but it’s a reason I ship them all the same. This is shown most clearly in the post- midterm exams omake (which is only in the manga and not the anime).
I love this omake so much because first of all, it reveals that Uraraka watches Bakugou from across the classroom closely enough to pick up on changes in his mood (as evidenced when she says “I sensed your Bakurage Aura” to him) and second, it reveals that she can pick up on changes in his emotional state easily.
But the most important part of that omake is this panel.
Tumblr media
This is huge.
The way she outright says that Bakugou is terrified of Izuku’s potential development shows a deep understanding of Bakugou’s emotions and mental state that’s very unique. We never see anything like this level of understanding from any of their other classmates in direct relation to Bakugou. When she says “you act all menacing”, it shows that she knows that Bakugou’s yelling and bluster is an act put on the distance Izuku because he’s scared of him.
This revelation wasn’t revealed to Deku and All Might until Deku v. Kacchan 2 when Bakugou told the two of them what he was feeling in terms that they could understand. And this was way before this, right after the midterm exams.
She follows this up by asking him to repair his relationship with Deku and be nicer to him. They hadn’t even interacted much, so the fact that she noticed this in the first place and then felt comfortable enough to tell him that to his face says a lot about how she understands him and is comfortable around him.
Bakugou is completely taken aback by this and sit and listens to her and lets her finish before yelling at her, which is big because if he didn’t respect what she had to say, he would have just cut her off and left, but he didn’t. That respect comes back into play.
So Uraraka genuinely gets Bakugou, both emotionally and mentally, and isn’t afraid to tell him about her observations, and that’s another big plus for me. I love how Uraraka can see right through him and catch him off guard every time they interact meaningfully. That deep understanding is an important part of any relationship, and the fact that she can analyze him like this, despite not being a close friend to him was interesting to me because of the potential for character development.
3. Character Development (both canon and potential)
Character development is a big thing for me when it comes to ships. I tend to really like ships that change a character for the better in some way or the other.
The Sports Festival fight changed the both of them. When Bakugou fought Todoroki and told him to give it his all, the speech bubble placement implies he was thinking of his fight with Uraraka when he said that. She’s his standard for a good fight now.
Tumblr media
On the other end, Bakugou helped Uraraka realize that she didn’t need to exclusively focus on rescue with her Quirk and she takes an internship under Gunhead as a result, growing her character in a major way. Those Gunhead martial arts get used a lot later on by her, and none of that would have happened if her fight with Bakugou hadn’t happened. Overall, the Sports Festival fight was important to both their character arcs and I love that.
From the understanding part comes more possibility for character development. This is where their differing relationships with Deku come into play. One admires him and the other is scared of his growth. With her understanding of Bakugou and his relationship with Deku, Uraraka could genuinely help repair their relationship.
Also them as training partners! Not only do their Quirks have the potential for incredible compatibility (zero-gravity and explosions = human rockets/missiles??) but they could help the other with new skills. Uraraka could teach Bakugou Gunhead martial arts and help him improve his hand-to-hand Quirkless combat, Bakugou could help Uraraka with comabt awareness and increasing her power. He’s probably also got some ideas for creative applications of her Quirk. Make them training buddies, Horikoshi, I beg of you.
4. Other Things
Uraraka is completely chill with his foul-mouthed nature! She actually finds it even a little funny.
THE WAY SHE’S JUST NOT AT ALL SCARED TO THROW DOWN WITH HIM!! In the post midterms omake she even matches the Bakurage face at the end! She doesn’t take his shit at all and is 100% ready to fight again.
The chocolate manju scene from the war arc is hilarious to me because she’s comfortable enough around him to lightly reprimand him and the way he knows that she’s a foodie and wants to try the chocolate manju is really cute to me.
---
Of course, everything I said can also be platonically interpreted. I would just love for them to be friends in canon, and really, that’s what all of this logically leads to. I just like to dream about it slowly growing into romance during their pro hero years.

bnha hcs with an artsy s/o [2/?]
part two of this series! i will continue with maybe 2 more sets of bnha characters, so if i don’t touch basis with one you really like, then don’t be afraid to send a request! i can also do pt. 2s or scenarios for these, if y’all want as well :)
note: your quirk will be the same all around, if implied you have one!
Quirk: AMBIENT ILLUSION - with a single touch of your hand or glance, you are able to make your opponent think that they’ve been taken to another “realm,” but in actuality their body movements mimic those in the illusion; it’s a quirk that can be used for good or for bad; your creativity isn’t limited, but the side effects are headaches, nausea, and sometimes insanity for a short period of time until your stamina runs out or unless someone knocks you out
Hero Name: Chiaroscuro or Chiasu [for short]- referring to the major contrast of light and dark in an image; in italian it is said to literally mean light-dark
enjoy :)
---
i. midoriya
> you both go way back to childhood years, but you moved away
> you two only reunited because you knew mirio and he told you about izuku
> “wait- does he have a broccoli like hair?”
> nevertheless, izuku was ecstatic to reunite with you and vise versa
> he noticed the subtle changes to your appearance, such as your choice of clothing
> you talked a lot about your newfound love for art and aesthetics, he found it cute
> he told you about all might and his new quirk becuz something seemed off about him
> being quirkless, you make the most of being kind to people all around the world and to those you meet
> that’s one of the qualities that izuku likes a lot about you
> he isn’t really there after moving to the dorms, so you try to make the effort to come see him and that’s how the rest of his friends met you
> he feels bad you’re always spending time alone, while he was training really hard
> as an artist, you do get insecure, so losing deku to his dream was kinda a harsh reality check and you needed to find another outlet
> you worked at a nearby art teacher at the night painting sessions and you loved it
> gaining better critiques and learning about different potential styles made you so much more confident
> when izu saw you after long grueling training for the provisional license exam, he saw you were glowing with confidence and he was convinced he was going to one day marry you
---
k. bakugo
> he keeps you a hidden secret from the rest of his nosy friends. PERIODT.
> katsu is kinda embarrassed to admit he has a BIG soft spot for your artsy self
> you work at an art store and one day kirishima and kaminari decided to grab some materials for an art project that aizawa assigned
> you happened to be there helping out a flirty kaminari and an enthusiastic kirishima
> he was just kinda there...staring at you and your cute HANDMADE grenade earrings
> “you good bakugo?” -kirishima asked when they left
> “tch whatever.”
>  he was forced to go BACK THE NEXT DAY because he broke some of the markers when he was getting riled up
> he ACTUALLY made a compliment to your flame earrings that day and you wrote your number on the back of his receipt
> fast-forward, he takes the time to escape the dorms during the weekends to see you
> his mom LOVES you to DEATH
> she knows you’re the one and pesters baku about marrying you NOW
> neway, you’ve made cute little charms for your boom boom boi as good luck
> BONUS: you have matching charms that he keeps in a display case in his dorm room in his desk drawer
---
s. todoroki
> since he’s fairly quiet, he never really mentions you, except to his sister or izuku
> he collects the scrapbook pages you put together in a safe scrapbook
> for once, his dad is actually proud of his son’s gf and as he proclaims “his-future wife”
> your quirk is something that his dad practically fangirls about
> your family doesn’t really like the idea of quirk marriages just because they value trust and love
> shouto loves that and so he can be seen coming over often on the weekends
> he admires all the art pieces you draw in your sketchbook that you carry around for your quirk
> the more details you can memorize of a scene, the more the victim becomes more entranced
> he admires the fact that you like making art not only for your hero courses, but because you value making others happy with your gift
---
d. kaminari
> den asks himself how and why he ended up with such a cute and gifted girl
> you like making him small gifts and art pieces because it brightens his day
> but you attend seiai academy, which you extremely dread
> but when it comes down to it, you aren’t one to associate yourself with saiko intelli, just because she’s kind of in over herself with her fancy teas
> you spend a lot of time drawing and such that you never really socialize with the other girls
> you only attend seiai because you had gotten a recommendation from your old art teacher, and suddenly...you feel out of place
> all the girls in seiai seem to be snotty rich girls with nothing else better to do other than gossip and drink leaf juice
> denki tries to make you feel better after talking about his day and then asking about yours, which you respond to as “the same old lonely dorm room day”
> he feels really bad and tries to make you happy
> the day of the sports festival, he invited you to attend a week before since it was a really big deal coming from class 1-A
> you met his friends and eraserhead at the provisional license tournament, which you had finished pretty quickly, considering how you broke away from your peers and kinda just went for some unlucky chump
> eraserhead was impressed oop-
> anyway, when you saw their performance, you got literal chills and was pretty jealous of denki, you made some excuse to go home
> you ended up crying by yourself, but that crying sess ended when you found den at your dorm room, hugging the daylights out of you
> “i have a suggestion for you...how about you ditch these rich girls and come eat the rich with the rest of us at U.A.?”
---
f. tokoyami
> edgy boi + soft aesthetic s/o = b a l a n c e
> fumi isn’t one to outwardly express himself in the love dept, so how he ended up with you was simply being classmates
> being a transfer from shiketsu high school was probably the most nerve wrecking
> after everyone had gotten their provisional license, your dad came back from overseas and didn’t like that you weren’t at U.A., so...yea
> ANYWAY, fumi is soft edgy boi for you, and really admires your pieces
> he gives you ideas for some dark pieces that could help you spook more people
> fumi does little thoughtful things to help you through commission surges like bringing you flowers, snacks and dinner
> when you moved into the dorms, the rest of class 1-A had convinced you to let them into your room, which consisted of a lot of ORGANIZED art supplies and...PETS????
> apparently you had gotten permission from aizawa to bring some of your pets to the dorms, such as a cat, a puppy and a couple of birds
> “i couldn’t possibly come up with my pieces without having them”
> **cue cuteness overload**
> class 1-A didn’t pick up on your relationship with him and when they did, they were like......!!!!
> it was all thanks to your polaroid and printed photos of all your friends and some of your dates with fumi
---
e. kirishima
> you met during one of his patrols with fatgum and tamaki
> fatgum recognized you as you frequently came from seiai to visit, since fatgum was your relative
> kiri was curious about you since you go to seiai, an all girls academy
> fatgum had taken you along with his two interns to patrol and let me say kiri began simping after seeing you in action
> as a prep girl, you spend quite some time in the art room for your quirk
> having been prepared, it wasn’t any big deal to have you take down the bad guy within mere 15 minutes
> you were close with tamaki, but even closer with kiri
> at one point, you both started dating and you met his friends when you came from seiai to drop off some food you made for him
> “you go WHERE???” -denki
> lemme say that a lot of class 1-A was skeptical of you, but kiri convinced them that you meant no harm and was just visiting him
> “it’s okay, kiri! i’m sorry to intrude! i’ll be heading out now!”
> **cue dejected kiri for the rest of the week**
> his classmates felt bad seeing him in such a downer state, and apologized to him
> “nah, it’s okay...i was kinda hoping you guys would like her too and i’m sorry i’ve been down lately...so not manly.”
> but they learnt that kiri’s gf had been getting bullied for dating someone from U.A. and they had to go and make it worse
> “kirishima?” -mina
> “oh hey, what’s up?”
> “how’s s/o?” -denki
> “do you think that s/o would want to come to U.A.?” -midoriya blurted out
> mission: get s/o to attend U.A.

As earlier promised, here’s the big list of big brother head canons. Real quick though, most of these have little bits of my personal ships in them except for Iida because when I wrote his I didn’t have anyone I really shipped him with and now it’s the exact opposite problem where I have to many Iida ships I love
Warnings: brief mention of child neglect
Todoroki
- Ok, so you know those parents that like to document everything their kid does because they’re just so proud?
- Yeah that’s how Todoroki is with his little sister
- Like I’m not even kidding, she’s the background picture on his phone
- He just loves her so much, ok
- He likes getting new things for her
- Toys, clothes, books
- Really whatever she might need or like
- Enji doesn’t care enough to get her even just some nice things
- So Todoroki might as well take matters into his own hands
- Whenever they go to visit Rei he lets her pick out flowers for her
- She always tries to get her favorites since she wants the visit to be extra special
- She loves it when Todoroki reads her bedtime stories
- She likes to compare him to the story book princes
- She’s really well-mannered and polite
- She calls all of Todoroki’s friends by their name followed by san
- except Midoriya she hasn’t explained why but she insists on calling him Izu-Niichan
- The first time she met Midoriya she stared at him for a good five minutes before he asked her about it
- “In the stories the prince always lives happily ever after with the princess but you and Shou-Niichan are both boys. Hmm… Shou-Niichan likes you a lot though, so it must be ok right?”
- Midoriya.Exe has stopped working
- “(Yn) I think it’s time we head home, it’s almost time for your nap” “Huh? But I’m not even tired yet!” “No arguing, or I won’t read you a story today” “That’s no fair!”
- They don’t talk about that incident
- A week after that though he read her a brand-new story about two princes
- She has definitely figured out why
- Because I’m sure you’re curious her hair is red at the roots and fades to white at the ends
- She once accidentally froze Enji’s legs together
- That’s when they learned she has an ice quirk
- All the Todoroki sibs were just like !!!!! our little sister did that???
- Todoroki was so proud
- He works carefully with her to make sure she can use her quirk to its fullest potential
- He won’t start helping her with hero training until she’s old enough to make that decision for herself though
- She accidentally called him Daddy once
- She doesn’t remember doing so though because she was already half asleep
- But Todoroki remembers it
- It was kinda bittersweet for him though
- On one hand he’s happy that he means that much to her
- On the other it makes him mad that he had to fill that role in her life because their father refused to
- Either way he’s determined to not let her suffer the same type of childhood he did
- She’d have a good life, he’d make sure of it
Midoriya
- Oh boy, he’s such a doting brother
- Midoriya sweetie, honey? She’s six, she can definitely walk around just fine on her own you don’t have to carry her around all the time
- He keeps a separate notebook so he can keep track of her hobbies and interest and do research on them
- See after being bullied for so long he’s really worried about her feeling isolated
- He was really relieved when her quirk manifested
- He’s glad that she won’t have to go through the same thing he did
- But my goodness did it surprise him
- She got their mom’s quirk but it’s a little stronger
- She was sleeping when she first used it
- Inko asked him to check on her and when he opened the door there were so many things just flying around her room
- He just kinda closed the door then slowly opened it again
- He then proceeded to lose it
- “M-MOM!? (YN) HAS A QUIRK!” “Izuku, you’re going to wake her up!”
- Inko is on the verge of cuteness induced heart attack every other day
- Like she’s gone into his room with fresh laundry and found them taking a nap together and she just melted
- She took pictures and if you ask nicely, she’ll show you
- He taught her how to read and write by letting her sit on his lap while he was taking notes
- He didn’t know she was learning from him until Inko started trying to teach her only to find that she already had a good grasp of it
- He’s actually pretty stern with her
- He doesn’t let her have her way all the time because that’s how you end up with a spoiled little girl
- He’s still really gentle with her, but he’ll put his foot down when needed
- “But Oniichan!” “I said no (Yn), you can’t have ice cream for breakfast. It’s not healthy for you ok? You can have some later today if you’re good” “Fine”
- Since she follows him around like a puppy, she’s picked up some of his habits
- She mumbles to herself a lot and has the same love for heroes
- If you ask her who her favorite hero is, she’ll undoubtedly say it’s Midoriya
- She loves his friends especially Uraraka because their quirks are so similar
- She was left alone with Todoroki for about fifteen minutes while the others got ice cream
- She rapid fire asks him about what he thinks of her brother
- “Do you like Oniichan? If you do, then are you going to tell him? When are you going to? How much do you like him? I think he likes you a lot, but I’m still his favorite ok? You can be with Oniichan as long as you don’t keep him all to yourself ok?”
- Once everyone comes back and Midoriya hands her the ice cream she tells him something along the lines of she approves
- He’s really confused until he asks how she behaved while he was gone
-“I think she gave me permission to marry you” “HUH?! I’m sorry Todoroki-kun that must’ve been uncomfortable for you” “I can’t say I’m all that bothered by it actually”
- He’s still not exactly sure what he meant by that
Kaminari
- He lives to make her laugh
- He sees it as a great achievement whenever he can get her laughing until she’s in tears
- They basically have langue of their own and yes that langue is memes
- No one ever know what they’re talking about
- But they look happy, so no one questions it
- He adores her and will find any excuse to brag about her
- They’re on some type of hive mind I swear to God
- Like they can look at each other from across a room and he just nods, and brings her a snack no questions asked
- He always brings exactly what she wanted to
- His friends thought maybe her quirk was telepathy or something but nope
- He calls it his big bro senses
- He calls her Pichu you can’t convince me otherwise
- Pichu is actually a great way to describe her
- She has the same quirk and even less control of it
- If she gets too worked up, she might zap you
- Kaminari forgets to tell his friends about her habit of shocking others so everyone in the Bakusquad has definitely been zapped
- “What the hell was that?!” “Oh yeah, she doses that sometimes”
- He’s actually a pretty responsible brother
- Whenever he goes somewhere with her, he makes sure to have everything she might need
- He always forgets to take everything out of his bag before going back to school though
- “Why do you have a doll in your bag?” “Huh, oh man that one’s (Yn)’s favorite she going to be so mad at me”
- She was, don’t get in between a girl and her favorite doll
- He’s learned how to style her hair in all sorts of ways
- He’s especially good at braiding her hair
- When she lets him, he’ll pick out her outfit
- Sometimes he picks a really nice outfit
- But most of the time it’s obvious she was dressed by him
- Like they aren’t ever bad outfits, but they’re interesting
- He takes her to parks a lot
- She likes exploring new places so he tries take her to different parks as much as he can
- One time a certain purple haired boy happened to be running in that park
- It couldn’t hurt to just talk to him really quick right?
- Wrong, he might have big bro senses, but she has little sis senses and she exclusively uses them to mess with him
- “Hey, Denki-Nii is this your friend?” “Yeah, this is Shinsou” “Oh! He’s that boy you like, right?”
Kirishima
- You ever seen a video of a golden retriever playing with a puppy retriever?
- Yeah thats them
- He’s just adores her so much
- She’s so spoiled oh my God
- He wants to be a good role model for her
- He’s heard that kids base their future relationships on the ones they make when they’re still young
- So, he wants her to know exactly how much she’s worth
- He’s not ashamed of playing dress up with her
- She wants to be a princess and it’s the manly thing to do
- If someone tries teasing him about it, he just kinda looks at them in pity and shakes his head
- “Why should I be ashamed of making my sister happy?”
- He paints her nails for her all the time
- One time she asked if she could paint his
- And that’s the story of the time he went to school with messily done red nails
- He gives her piggyback rides all the time
- Yes, he knows she can walk but this way is way more fun for both of them
- He gets really excited whenever she learns to do something on her own
- Then he gets a little pouty because she won’t need him anymore
- “You’re my best friend! I’m always going to need you!”
- Cue the water works
- Sero called her Minishima once
- It just kinda stuck
- She is now known as Minishima by all
- She picks fights with Bakugou a lot
- She’s on good terms with his other friends
- It’s literally just Bakugou that she picks fights with
- Kirishima thinks it’s hilarious so he provokes the situation
- He’s hanging out with Bakugou today? Better bring the kiddo
- She wants to have a tea party? What’s a party with just two people?
- “Hey! Don’t think that I’ll let you win just because Eiji-Niikun likes you!” “(Y-yn)!”
- It appears that there’s one drawback to his game
- her quirk is crystal manipulation
- Instead of hardening her skin she can crystallize things
- She has definitely used it to trip Bakugou before
- “What the hell brat!?” “He’ll never believe you”
- He did and scolded her about how that wasn’t a nice thing to do and made her apologize
Iida
- She looks up to him so much and he doesn’t really know how to handle it
- Like she looks at him like he’s just the coolest person ever
- And suddenly it’s clear to him why Tensei always tried to be someone he could look up to
- Of course, he got it before but it’s just different being the one someone looks up to
- All he wants is for her to be proud to call him her older brother
- He definitely picks out her outfits whenever he takes her somewhere
- She actually insists on it he doesn’t she’ll get pouty
- “(Yn), I you’re old enough to pick out your own clothes now” “But I want you to do it! I always like what you pick Tenya-Niikun!” “If you insist, I suppose I have no choice than”
- She loves riding around on his shoulders
- He knows he’s spoiling her a little too much, but he can’t help it
- He’s just completely wrapped around her little finger
- His friends think it’s really cute
- It’s not often you get to see him relax and let himself just be in the moment so it’s absolutely precious to watch them
- She loves playing pretend and has managed to get not only Iida but the whole dekusquad to join in her games
- Their all wrapped around her finger let’s be honest here, even Todoroki has a huge soft spot for her
- She has no idea she has so much power over them and thinks it’s normal to have five heroes in training ready to drop everything to play princess with her
- Her quirk is also engine but hers are on her heels
- She likes to have impromptu races with him
- He likes to let her win because its adorable to see her celebrate her victory
- He reads to her all the time as a result she well above the average reading level for her age
- Bedtime stories are a chapter or two form whatever classic he’s deemed age appropriate for her
Shinsou
- Nap time buddies, like just super snuggly all the time
- There’s legit a corner in his room that’s dedicated to being the comfiest nap spot for a five year old girl and her older brother one can imagine
- We’re talking fluffy blankets plush pillows a few stuffed animals and some story books in case she wants a story
- Ya know, the works
- It’s really cute honestly
- I can see him being a low key over protective
- Like he seems like cool chill older bro who doesn’t care as long as she’s having fun, but he’s so worried all the time
- He’s just like ‘you’re so tiny, literally everything could hurt you, but you walk around like you could kill God and that’s a problem’
- I know I’ve said literally everyone wrapped around their little sis’s fingers and he’s no different
- Proudest brother of them all
- Will take any opportunity to mention her
- Low key though, it’s way to embarrassing for him to casually gush about his younger sister
- “Who’s the kid on your phone?” “Oh, that’s my sister (Yn)” “I didn’t know you have a sister! She’s so cute!” “Ah thanks, she is pretty cute huh?”
- Ok so you know how some kids decide that when they get older they’re gonna marry the person their closest with because they think that’s what you have to do when you love someone?
- Yeah she thinks they’re gonna get married
- “When I grow up I’m gonna marry Nii-kun!” “No you’re not” “I am to!”
- She gets really jealous and huffy when he has to do something with out her even though he’s home and can hangout with her
- Like she understands when he has to leave for school but now he’s home! That should be her time!
- She’s definitely the 'you can’t date my big brother! He’s mine!’ type of little sister
- There was an incident when she met some of his school friends
- She looked Kaminari in the eyes and told him he’s not allowed to like her brother
- Shinsou has never scooped her up and excused himself so fast in his life

Req: Shōto moves from the big city to a small town where he meets & befriended by a local boy, Izuku. Together they experience memorable summer filled with beach outings, bike ridings, festivals & fireworks. But a dark secret about Shōto's past & true identity threatens to destroy their friendship.
Thank you for the prompt! 😊
When Shoto first moved to Izumo, he didn’t expect his life to change forever…
Well, that was a slight lie - after all, the entire reason he had moved away from his home in Tokyo was to get away from the stifling environment and constant pressure his father put on him. He had even tried to mask his identity, going by Shoto unless it was for important documents, in which case he'd use his mother's maiden name; he had also dyed his hair a rose pink to get rid of the red and white that stood out like a sore thumb. When he moved to his new home though, he had expected to live out his life quietly and alone, knowing that it was better than the alternative.
He changed his mind.
When Shoto moved to Izumo, he didn’t expect his life to change for the better. He didn’t expect to meet a local boy with fluffy green curls, constellations of freckles dusting his cheeks and a shining smile that instantly made him feel weak at the knees.
Midoriya Izuku.
Their meeting had been an accident - one that shouldn’t have happened - but Shoto was so glad that it did. He had been returning from the shops, both hands full of groceries, when he had spotted him running towards him.
His green hair bounced with each step and a bright smile was plastered to his face that was filled with mischief. As he ran past Shoto, he winked. Before he could spontaneously combust in response though, someone suddenly shouted and Shoto turned his attention to another boy, who seemed to be chasing after the first. His face was covered in mud.
'Damn, Deku! I'll kill you!' He roared. 'Get back here!'
At that moment, Shoto made a decision. He shouldn't meddle, he knew that - he didn't know the context behind this - but something told him to just go for it. Was it because the first boy had winked at him and was actually quite cute? Maybe… But he wasn't about to admit that.
As the angry blonde ran past him, Shoto timed it just right; he stuck his foot out to the side for the boy to trip over.
The instant he went flying, feet completely leaving the ground, Shoto sidestepped into a narrow alleyway to avoid being caught. He never saw the aftermath of his… Intervention, deciding to remain in his hiding spot for at least five minutes before venturing back out onto the sidewalk.
By the time Shoto made it back home to his small cottage, the ice cream he had bought had half melted, but he had no regrets.
He had just finished putting the shopping away when there was a knock on the door, which turned out to be none other than the boy who had winked at him earlier. His hair was slightly damp with sweat and his face was flushed.
'Hi!' The boy began. 'I'm Midoriya Izuku! You might not remember but before-'
'No, no. I remember quite vividly.' Shoto interrupted, leaning against the door frame. 'I'm Shoto.'
'Shoto…' Midoriya spoke softly, before a grin made its way onto his face. 'It's nice to meet you! I just wanted to say thank you for earlier. Kacchan can be a dick sometimes. He said something about my mum's weight so I put a spider down the back of his shirt and shoved some mud in his face so I could get a head start. That's why he was chasing me. I don't know what would've happened if he had caught up to me so yeah… Thank you.'
Shoto blinked a few times as he processed all of that - Midoriya could speak rather quickly.
'It's no problem.' He eventually shrugged. 'It was quite entertaining.'
'I know right?!' Midoriya exclaimed with a laugh. 'I looked over my shoulder just as he flew like 3 metres. I only knew it was you because you mysteriously disappeared before he could spot you.'
Shoto allowed himself a small smile as he watched Midoriya wipe away a stray tear.
'Well, from what you've told me, it sounds like he deserved it.'
Midoriya nodded slightly, before going silent. Shoto watched as he seemed to consider his next words, rubbing the back of his neck and shuffling on his feet.
'I haven't seen you around before. Are you new to Izumo?' When Shoto nodded, he continued. 'Well, if you want, I could give you a tour? I know we don't know each other that well and you're probably busy, but… Yeah, it's up to you though! I'd totally understand if-'
'I'd love to.' Shoto smiled earnestly. 'Give me five minutes and I'll be good to go.'
'Awesome!'
The more they got to know each other, the more he came to realise just how kind and brave Izuku was, with his own fair share of scars and the inability to leave Shoto alone even if he tried. Every day held an adventure and Shoto found himself enjoying every moment of it.
Ever since that day, the two of them had been joined at the hip. Initially, Shoto had been reluctant to allow a stranger into his life, never having much luck with friends due to who his father was. It was different now though. Not only had he forsaken his old life and now lived in a place where no one knew him, but the friend in question was Midoriya Izuku, who seemed to slot himself into Shoto's life so easily, it was like he had always been there.
His once empty house was now filled with memories. Photos of him and Izuku were scattered across the walls, commemorating their various hiking conquests, cycle marathons and charity runs that Izuku had convinced Shoto to take part in. That wasn't all though, some pictures were more casual, like the time they went to that bubble tea shop that also sold bubble slush that Shoto had quickly become addicted to, or the time they were chilling at Izuku's house and his mum, Inko, had wrapped him in a tight hug that ended up with Shoto crying, or even when they went to that summer festival wearing matching kimonos and danced together.
Life was impossibly good and Shoto loved it. When he was with Izuku, he was truly happy. He couldn't picture living without him.
As the months came and went though, Shoto knew it wouldn't last. He knew eventually he'd have to tell Izuku the truth about who he was and potentially face losing him forever.
It was a terrifying thought, but his friend deserved to know. He just hoped Izuku could one day forgive him.
☀️🌙
'It's so hoooot!' Izuku moaned, collapsing onto their shared beach towel and spreading himself out along the material. The two of them had decided to spend their Sunday at the beach, before Izuku started his new job the next day.
When Shoto said nothing as he calmly sat down next to him, Izuku poked an eye open to look at him expectantly. 'I said, it's hot, Sho-chan!'
'Is it really?' He deadpanned. 'I couldn't tell.'
'I hate you.' Izuku pouted.
'You love me and you know it.' Shoto replied easily, albeit he chewed on the inside of his cheek as he waited for his best friend's response.
'Hmmm.' Izuku huffed, before both of his eyes shot open and he smiled brightly at him. 'I guess I do.'
Shoto felt his face flush terribly at that, but before he could overthink it, Izuku suddenly jumped up and removed his top. He tried not to stare as his friend's surprisingly muscular torso was exposed, and instead focused on an interesting shell next to him.
'Sho-chaaaaaan!' He looked up to find Izuku staring at him, a bottle of sun cream in his hand. 'Can you rub my back, pretty please?'
'So needy.' He quipped, holding out his hand. Their fingers brushed as Izuku passed him the lotion, then his friend moved to sit with his back to him.
Shoto's hands shook slightly as he popped open the cap and squirted some onto his palm, before reaching out to rub it onto a freckled back. Izuku's skin was surprisingly soft, even with the scars that were scattered across his body. The warmth his friend radiated was also quite overwhelming, but Shoto wasn't sure if he was imagining it or not - after all, he was feeling rather flustered himself.
When he eventually finished, he tapped his shoulder and Izuku shuffled around to look at him.
'Your turn!' He announced, taking the sun cream from Shoto.
'You haven't done your face and chest yet though.'
'You're hopeless, Sho-chan.' Izuku sighed, before patting him on the head affectionately. 'But it's okay. I forgive you.'
Shoto didn't know what he meant by that, so he just shrugged and removed his top.
☀️🌙
'Izuku.' Shoto finally muttered, clutching his towel close to his chest. They had just been for a swim in the sea, hoping it would cool them down slightly. When he had initially suggested the idea, Izuku had dived into the water straight away, and when he eventually resurfaced, he had called out to Shoto, a bright smile on his face, before splashing him playfully. The salt water had stung his eyes a little, but Shoto had still smiled back and matched Izuku's laughter.
Now though, smiling was the last thing he wanted to do. After all, he had decided to finally tell the truth. He couldn't keep going on like this, enjoying Izuku's friendship whilst hiding who he was. It wasn't fair on his friend.
'Yeah?' Izuku finished drying his hair and looked at him curiously. When he noticed Shoto's worried expression, he stepped forwards and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. 'You wanna sit down?'
Shoto swallowed heavily and nodded. He allowed himself to be guided to the beach towel by his friend and they sat down facing each other.
'Okay…' Shoto whispered, more to himself, before exhaling heavily. 'Izuku, I want to start by saying that you mean so much to me and that you're the best thing that's ever happened to me.'
'Nawww, Shoto-kun!'
'That being said,' He continued before he could get distracted. 'I haven't been completely honest with you.'
When Izuku tilted his head to the side in question, Shoto sighed. No point beating around the bush. 'My real name is Todoroki Shoto. My dad is Todoroki Enji, you might know of him, he's that dickhead politician that-'
'Yeah, I know about him' Izuku laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of his neck. 'My dad used to be a supporter of his policies, not that he's ever been around to realise that his son is part of one of the communities he actively hates on.'
'Sorry about that.' Shoto muttered. 'For what it's worth, I don't agree with him. When he found out I was…' Bite the bullet, Izuku won’t care. 'When he found out I was gay, he wasn't too pleased.'
'Shoto-'
'It's fine, Izuku. I've always hated him.' He shook his head. 'My old man is the reason I moved here. I had to escape while I could. I've been using my mother's maiden name and I dyed my hair so no one would catch on. I wanted to get as far away as possible and make a life here, before eventually bringing my mother here to live with me. The bastard put her in a hospital, but me and my siblings have been working to get her discharged, and we reckon she'd be happier in a place like this.'
He paused for a moment, considering his next words as he bowed his head and squeezed his eyes shut. 'I couldn't keep lying to you, Izuku. You're my best friend and I just… I'm sorry, I hope you can one day forgive me.'
Silence fell over them then, but Shoto didn't dare open his eyes. He didn't want to see the look of betrayal in Izuku's eyes, as selfish as it may be. He couldn't bear the idea of looking up to find his best friend gone.
Suddenly, a warm hand came to rest over Shoto's own trembling ones, soft to the touch and grounding him enough that he could look up to meet shining eyes.
'There's nothing to forgive.' Izuku almost whispered, sincerity in his voice that was so undeniably Izuku that Shoto wondered how he could ever doubt him. A reassuring smile graced his face. 'You're not your father, Shoto-kun. He's a cruel man, while you're nothing but kind. I understand why you kept your name a secret, I just hope that the Shoto I had the pleasure of getting to know was the real Shoto.'
'It was.' He let out a bashful smile when Izuku's own only grew. 'With you, I am myself entirely.'
'Then I'm glad.' A calloused hand squeezed Shoto's own affectionately. 'Because you also mean the world to me and to lose you would be… I couldn't-’ He sighed. ‘It would be heartbreaking.'
'I don't deserve you.' Shoto shook his head with disbelief. Before he could stop himself, he continued. 'I have something else to admit.'
'Your sister's not the prime minister, is she?' Izuku giggled.
'No… She's a teacher?' Shoto tilted his head to the side, confused.
'I'm just kidding, babes. Go on.' His friend playfully shoved him, and Shoto tried not to think too hard about being called "babes", even if it was a jibe.
'Okay, so remember how I said you're the best thing that could ever happen to me?' He began, focusing on Izuku's hand still covering his own. 'Well, it's more than that. I've never felt this way about anyone before, but when I'm with you, I never want it to end. You've made me smile more than I have in years, and every time you smile, life seems a little brighter by it. You're beautiful, both inside and out, and I can't imagine a life without you.'
He looked up to find Izuku staring at him, tears streaming down his face as he rubbed circles into Shoto's hand. A few months ago, he would've been worried at having made his friend cry, but now he knew better. Crying was a good thing with Izuku.
He exhaled shakily. 'I- I like you, Izuku. So, so much.'
Before he could comprehend what was happening, his friend suddenly leapt forward, wrapping his arms around Shoto's shoulders and tackling him to the ground. His back hit the sand with a muffled thud, but he hardly cared, returning the hug as Izuku nuzzled into his neck.
'I like you too!' He mumbled, tears dampening Shoto's skin. 'We'll be okay, promise. Todoroki won't be able to touch you here. I won't let him.'
'Izuku…' Shoto's throat felt tight as he rested his head back, not caring about the grains of sand burrowing into his hair. 'This can't be real.'
'Why not?'
'Because you're perfect.' His vision blurred and Shoto shut his eyes to prevent any tears from falling. 'This can't be real.'
'Is it real if I do this?' Izuku lifted his head up to look at him, before bringing his hand forwards and pressing his fingertip to Shoto's nose. 'Boop.'
Shoto crossed his eyes to follow the digit, eliciting an amused giggle from Izuku that was surprisingly contagious.
'That helps thank you.' Shoto laughed, his nose feeling strange as it was squished.
'Hmmm, I'm glad.' Izuku whispered, finally removing his finger to cup Shoto's cheek instead. The two stared at each other and Shoto tried to commit every feature to memory, from the spots of emerald in his verdant irises to the way the corners of his eyes crinkled with mirth.
He watched as a tongue darted out of Izuku's mouth to lick the bottom of his plump albeit slightly chapped lips. 'What about if I do this?'
Izuku leaned forward then and captured Shoto's lips in a quick kiss. He gasped upon the contact, and when Izuku pulled away he found himself chasing the feeling needily.
Izuku's cheeks were dusted pink and he sat up. 'Sorry, I should've asked first- Umph!'
Shoto sat up enough to link his arms back around Izuku's waist and pulled him down for another kiss. It was awkward - Shoto had no idea what he was doing and he assumed his friend didn't either. It was okay though, they could learn together.
'Izuku.' Shoto murmured against his mouth. 'I really am glad I met you, and I'm sorry for lying.'
Izuku rubbed their noses together before pressing a quick peck to his lips.
'It's okay really.' He whispered. 'I trust you.'
They spent the rest of the afternoon curled up on that beach towel together, and when they arrived at the Midoriya household for dinner that evening, holding hands, Inko was nothing but delighted.
Yes, Shoto had moved to Izumo to escape, but he hadn’t expected to love life quite as much as he did right now.

Chapter 2
You squealed as you held the seatbelt tightly as Dabi steps on the pedal,”D-DABI! SLOW DOWN YOUR GOING MAKE ME SPILL MY GUTS OUT-”, you screamed trying to hold onto something tight. Dabi grunts as he speeds up and suddenly turns right, the car screeches while you you shut your eyes tightly now holding and the door. A few minutes of you being pushed from left to right and then your breath almost getting knocked out from Dabi speeding up again,’W-wont we get chased down by a police-- DABI IS GOING TO KILL ME--’, your mind was screaming for you to get out of the car but you weren't stupid enough to do that. Dabi slowed down just a bit as you both entered the Highway,”By the looks of things I guess we’ll be there just on time for the opening ceremony ends..”, Dabi looks to your side to see your eyes wide while breathing heavily. He moves on hand to grab your hand tightening it slightly,”You okay? you seemed stunned..”
You looked back at him with a ‘Are you serious?’ expression, how could he not feel like jelly when he just literally just blasted through the streets and still feel fine, you were here beyond stunned,’H-how can he just say that unfazed?! Is he secretly a top Race driver?! He literally turn me into jelly--’, you sighed trying to calm your beating heart. You squeezed his hand as you leaned back into the seat, you closed your eyes trying to regain and steady your breath. A few moments later you looked back at Dabi with your eyebrows furrowed,”You could've warned me, Dabi!”, He just rolled his eyes focusing using one hand on the stirring wheel while holding your hand in the other,”I’m as fast as my car can take me doll, I'm trying to get us there on time. Sorry about that Doll”, you sighed and turned your head to look at him. Dabi grumbles,”Sorry about that Doll”, You sighed and muttered out ‘Its fine’ as you starred at him with starry eyes, you didn't had time to look at how he fully looked nice you were rushing with time since you only focussed on how his suit looked great.
The lights from the outside framed his face as he drives, the way his hair was styled just a tad bit, still in a messy but in a stylish way. You had a feeling he wouldn't cover his scars but since this was a fancy party you had a feeling he would,’So breath taking... .. I’m almost jealous, hpmh’, you puffed your cheeks as you looked at him,’How did you get so handsome.. I feel like I'm missing out on something-- wait’, you squint your eyes and leaned closer to him. His jaw looks defined, sharper nose-- wait are those three silver piercings on his nose,”You got piercings again? How could I not see that..”, Dabi gives you a side glance for a moment only to look back at the road,”Yeah I did and maybe its because you’re short?”, you huffed and looked away from him.
“Meanie.. . we haven’t seen each other for awhile and you’re already being mean”
“You’re just too easy doll.. .. that's why I have to look out for you a lot”
You turned your head back to look at him,”Did your say something or was I hearing things?”, Dabi just shrugs turning the steering wheel,”You’re probably still shaken up by my driving, why dont you just rest for a bit we’re almost there..”, he says. You let out a soft ‘hmm’ your eyelids slowy fluttering to close letting you get a short nap,’I swear he said something... . but he was too quiet--’, you immediately dozed off as soon as you closed your eyes.
.. ..
Dabi looks at you for a second,’Knocked out cold maybe inviting her to this party was a mistake’, he looks back to the road, he gently squeezed your hands as he looks at the road. Shigaraki was supposed to invite you but decided against it which Dabi didnt like but he knows why you weren’t supposed to be invited to this party. This party could literally kill you which is why Dabi will stick to your side like a glue, literally. He sighs again feeling a bit nervous but excited, you get to at least take a breather from that nasty break up, maybe he could make his move on
He scoffs when his mind drifted to how Shigaraki might turn him to dust,’Thats not happening, not when that decay bastard has his eyes on you too’, he rolls his eyes still keeping his eye on the road. You both were almost there, just a bit more and you’ll both arrive at the venue. Dabi mind was filled with thoughts about what could happen tonight, this party isn't open to all and only few are invited to even get a glimpse of the growing Paranormal Liberation’s new leader, Shigaraki. Dabi never intended to let get your there on time since he didn’t want you to hear that speech that could literally spill everything of what job Shigaraki has, the people that were going to attend that party was strictly for business proposes. They don’t just throw some stupid party with no meaning to it other than to flaunt their power, as much as possible they needed more loyal people-- as if it wasn’t enough-- to join their side.
It was all to show to those people who decided to make an enemy of them will be completely wiped out and also to scout more people to add to their power and ranks. But all of the higher ranks are taken by the original LOV crew, they didn’t have much to worry about other than those who dare to go against them in a false partnership and tried to act like they were smart but they didn’t think their plan through enough which ultimately led to their demise.
Or in short, sweet death
Dabi eyed the mask that sat right in front of his steering wheel, it was a half face mask that was ironically shape like a demons mouth, it was a “disguise” that his group picked out, told him it suits him since demon breath out fire which in return earned them a punch to the head. He didn’t want to wear the mask cause it wasn’t his taste also it was tacky and didn’t like that he wasted at least half of his money to buy a suit to match the mask. But he didn’t complain one bit since he convinced Shigaraki invite you which he and the group had to try and bribe him, they all missed you.
“This party is just for show, we're here to scout potential clients and loyal follower. We might get uninvited guests so make sure to stay sharp on your designated posts, got it?”, Shigaraki says as he went over to memorised his opening lines for the party, Dabi had his arms on top of the couch looking straight at the ceiling starring directly the chandelier. Toga was talking with Magne on what to wear to the party, Mr. Compress was talking to the chefs through the phone on what to serve in the party. Twice was being twice as always and Genten was polishing his gun.
Dabi was waiting for the right time to ask Shigaraki,’Why the hell isn't he bringing up about y/n.. .’, he squints his eyes from starring too much at the light and looks back at Shigaraki’s back. Just as Dabi was about to open his mouth, Toga beat him to it,”So are we inviting n/n-chan?”, the whole room turns to Toga as she puts down a bright red dress. Shigaraki stops mumbling his lines and looks at Toga, she turns around and grins,”I’m not going to cooperate unless n/n-chan comes annddd I'm not going to enjoy this party, Tomuraaaa”, she whines and pouts.
Shigaraki grumbles out turning his attention to Toga,”As much as we want too we can’t risk---”, Dabi cuts him off,”We can just get more security inside and outside the area, I'm pretty sure we have enough power to do that”, Dabi stands up from the couch and walked towards to the kitchen where Mr. Compress is. Genten turns the gun to look at the other side and wipes the dirt off,”We have the support if Destros himself.. ... only half though since some half of his men are doing other jobs like searching for those who raided our clients products just last week, sending invitations to small and big businesses and lastly tracking down Hawks group that also stole half of our goods”, Genten says as he places the now polished gun in its case.
He stretches his arms and yawns,”Besides, I miss Y/n and thanks to you putting me on duty-- outside the venue”, harshly pointing out that he isn't slightly pleased at all being assigned when there's going to be party,”Make me mad that I want to ice you but since you’re my boss I can’t do that and you might not agree to let Y/n come...”, he slumps down in the couch, furrowing both of his eyebrows, displeased that he has to be on duty. Shigaraki throws his index card down a near by table and scratches his neck, Shigaraki does want to invite you but due to his rivals around Japan— much less the people going to this party, he couldn't risk them knowing he had a friend outside his work, its too dangerous for them to know.
Knowing it’s you they might be after, Shigaraki doesn't want to trap you-- or hide you from the world, you didn't deserve that after what happened to you when you lost your parents.
                 Shigaraki will not allow it
Shigaraki sighs heavily rubbing his eyes with his gloved finger,’This idiots can’t be serious.. although the people who are attending this party are selected there’s always going to be that one person who’s going to ruin it all and all of them are highclass criminals and Mafia’s’, he ruffles his hair, his mind in conflict on whether or not he will invite you. Dabi sees this and takes this opportunity to negotiate,”What if I'll be the one to escort her to the venue, I'll stick to her like glue--”
“That's not going to work, they know exactly who you are, Dabi. You could put Y/n on their lists of target and none of us want that”
He holds his tongue not wanting to fight as it could lower his chances of getting Shigaraki to say ‘yes’ into inviting you,”Not if I have some sort of disguise to cover up this fucking scars, come on shit face”, at this point Dabi might as well throw all those ‘Y/n’ cards to bribe him. He looks at Genten, he tilts his head to Shigaraki,’Help me out you ice freak--’ he mouths to Genten, Genten looks at him with a lazy expression.
‘Trust me, we all want to see Y/n’
Genten quickly tries to think of something in order to help Dabi,”Imagine how happy would Y/n look if she saw us all--”
“Your on outside duty have you already forgotten? You might as well greet her outside the gate and thats it.”, Shigraki with a monotone voice. This time it was Toga’s turn to try and bribe Shigaraki,”Oh! Oh! Think about how she’ll look super cute all dressed up!! You wouldn't miss that for the world now do you Tomuraa”, she grins trying to imagine how you would look like all dolled up.
“Yeah! I wanna see the precious Diamond too!! She'll look sexy walking down the floors!!”, Twice adds while squealing with Toga. Mr. Compress puts his phone on mute and looks at Shigaraki,”Shigaraki-san, the Violet squad has returned from their assignment and will be helping out in terms of security and look out as well. They have claim to have also wiped out some of Todoroki’s men and came out with minor injuries”, he returns to the phone calls while jotting down on a piece of paper. Shigaraki still not fully convinced crosses his arms and gestures them to keep trying,”Like I said before, I can find a disguise to cover my scars, I promise to stick by her side”, Dabi looks at Shigraki with a serious expression.
“I’ll take my outside duty serious”
“I’ll make sure to cooperate nicely too!!”
“I’ll make a lot of doubles to scout the area out!! They won't ruin this party, no sir!”
“Silence, all of you”, they all shut their mouths. The room intense as Shigaraki turns his back and walk towards the huge window that shows the whole city from below. Shigaraki thinks carefully on how many things may happen, if they do break he needs to know where you’ll escape. But he can't let that happen, every corner must be covered in security-- the roof as well. None of them had a warp gate like they do to transport things carefully but he knows how skilled some of them are working in the shadows, he stares at the lights from below with a straight face,’Y/n-san.... .. we haven't seen each other in awhile, back up has come but.. .’
His mind is filled with a lot of thoughts of what could and would happen, Hawks group is a sneaky bunch along with his partner, Tsukoyomi, who they know has a quirk that works well in the dark. That paired along with Hawks quirk which they recently been told by a spy they sent to get inside information, is able to pick up sounds, control each individual feather as well as sharpen them. Unfortunately, their group has yet to acquire a healer but that was temporarily solved by the professors healing capsules, they get three each on a mission and it takes a few minutes for the healing to take effect. It’s only good for minor injuries, it can heal injuries like big cuts but as for gun shots, not so much as its takes even longer to heal if you don't get the bullet out.
Whats more annoying is that not only that they also have other skilled members that even more annoying to deal with,’Professor has yet to create a nomu that for us or the scouting group that sensei set to find a skilled healer.. we have enough power on our side with our connections but still--’, Shigaraki clenches his fists. He really wants to invite you and get your mind off your breakup, he never really asked what your lovers looked like or even asked to meet them since you never tried to introduce your partners to them and because you know that they would be too busy and they usually their free-time just time to catch up with what you were doing with your life.
He knew he wasn't supposed to have a weakness when sensei told him he was going to be the next heir to the business but for you he made an exception, it was your kindness that made him melt down all his walls. Whenever he was going through something tough, just a little encouragement from you or just a small talk with you made him feel better. What hurts him the most is when he cant be there on time to comfort you when you need it, he didn't want to keep his night job a secret from you but he knows you’re bound to find out one way or another.
You aren't some dumb person, you just choose not to and just keep quiet about it to not get in trouble
And that's what scares him the most to the point where he couldn't sleep properly for somedays, he doesn’t know if you’ve figured it out yet
He shakes his head and tries to remove those thoughts from his head,’No.. thats not going to happen, not on my fucking watch’, if he was going to let you go to this party--that he knows is going to attract there attention-- he needs to make sure that once there's a security breach, he's already telling Dabi or whoever is going to escort you out of the venue-- together you out fast and quiet. He’ll make sure Kurogiri is on his com to make sure as soon as he sends a signal he’ll have his portal up in second straight to your home, send more people to secure the place. As much he doesn't want to tarnish his reputation but when it involves you, he wouldn't give a shit but its not like a little security breach is going to affect his reputation-- maybe his partnerships with other leaders but who's to say they would turn away from him, knowing the power he holds.
This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn’t for his childish choices to just jump in to try and take out his rivals but ultimately failed and losing half of his men but as the months went on he learned to be more smarter and move smarter. Taking out people that are associated with his rival-- U.A corporations-- no matter how big or small they are of a threat, if they are associated with them in anyway, they take them out or if they have potential they kidnap them for information, steal their quirk or get turned into nomu’s.
Shigaraki reaches to rub his eyes but stops when he hears you scolding in his head
“Don’t rub them Tomura-chan! You’ll irritate it more!”
It’s itchy, what do you want me to do about it?
“Stop stop!! Don’t rub it anymore!!!”
Then scratch it for me then if you don’t want me scratching it
“Your bleeding again Tomura, didn’t I told you not to scratch them... . I just finished rubbing some ointment on too...”
      Right, sorry about that... .
“Don’t pick on your lips either also put some lip balm on it occasionally-- its not girly!! I want to make sure you look good when you kiss a girl!!”
Who am I going to fucking kiss anyways? I'm not going to kiss anyone if its not you...
Shigaraki smiles unconsciously when he hears you scolding him so he didn’t rub his too hard,’Even when you aren’t physically here, you're still scolding me. Telling me to stop rubbing and picking at my skin.. the things you do to me Y/n...’,he sighs heavily and looks back at the groups who was still waiting for him to give his finally thought in inviting you. They all stopped what they were doing and looked at their boss,”Fine.. she can come--”, Toga grins and raises her arms up. Twice and his other self talked in what to wear to the party, Mr. Compress tips his hat, Geten nods, Dabi mumbles out a quite “Yes!”
“On one condition..”
.. ..
Dabi slows down the car as he enters the road that had thick trees that covered his view,’Had to pick a venue thats waayyy out there, talk about protective..’, he scoffs. He remembers vividly how Shigaraki sent his men to give out last minute changes about the new location for the party to the guests and recall how he asked Professor to personally borrow three of his high ends to which he agreed to. His teacher didn’t mind as long as they get to hold to the party and find new people to add to their assets.
The new venue that he had picked out what way out of the city-- in cases of.. well, possible collateral damage considering the quirks they have and to not worry about causing too much damage that may have a dent on their name, not that anyone would come after them for destroying property unless they want to die. Its on a mountain and it takes a while to get there since there's a lot of curves and it also possible intruders to make their escape a bit hard if they decided to get lost in the thick forest.
‘This curves are making me sick-- I think we’re almost there, I can see those lights’
A few minutes later, you both finally reached the venue after half an hour on the road he notices a lot of fancy cars that were parked up on the outdoor parking lot, all places almost filled up. He grabs his ear piece that allowed him to talk with his group,”Genten, tell them to open the gates... .. I’ve arrived with Y/n safety”, he talks through the earpiece. His earpiece sends a static with made him scrunch his face and almost pulled it off his ear,”Told the guards to open the gate for you, just drive up to the front ”,the static cuts stops.
Dabi drives up to the gate, he gave the guard a side look and just gave a short nod and looked at his buddy to open up the gate. He drives inside and goes straight to the back part of the venue, where the important people get to park their cars, he turns the wheel slowly and quickly finds a spot. He backs up his car, sets his breaks to park and turns off the car, he looks back at your sleeping figure and admires you just for a little while.
‘Sleeps like a true doll... how cute’
He rubs his thumb on your hand that was still laced in yours from the whole ride to the venue,”Doll wake up, we’re here now”, he says and squeezes your hand, he reaches out to cup your cheek with his hand that was on the steering wheel. He caresses it softly watching you finally stirring awake,”5 more minutes...pleaseee”, you whined trying to get a little more sleep. Dabi shakes his head and looks at his watch,”Don’t you want to see Shigaraki and the others?”, you slowly got up and Dabi lets his hand that was on your cheek to rest on his legs.
You rubbed your eyes softly as to not ruin your makeup that your spent little time to put on,”Wait let me do a quick retouch on my make up, I don’t want to look like I just took a long nap”, you leg go of his hand and quickly reach for your small clutch bag that carried your makeup, phone and credit card. Dabi lets out a short ‘hm’, trying hard not to lace his fingers back to your hand, he reaches for the face mask and puts it on the lower part of his face and clicks the belt in.
---
You opened your clutch bag  and reach for the small pocket mirror and red lipstick, you swipe just softly to not make it a harsh since you went for a soft gradient look. You puckered your lips to spread the lipstick just a bit then grabbed your blusher to just touch up the faint blush, flicked your up eyelash softly. You turned your head to see if you looked alright, you smiled and out everything back to in your clutch bag. You turned back to Dabi and gave him a short nod while smiling excitedly,”Lets go?”
Dabi ties the black scarf over his eyes to cover up the patchwork under his eyes, which you didn't like the idea of it but you guess it was necessary as to not catch attention--much to your distaste,’Dabi looks cool with is scars, people are just judgemental, hpmh!’, he tightens the scarf just a bit and tugging some parts down. He looks back at you through the scarf and nods, you held in a laugh and covered you mouth,”Whats up with that disguise? Did Shigaraki told you to wear that?”, you asked while tilting your head slightly.
He sighs and rubs his neck looking the other way,”Yeah, apparently he doesn't want the guests to stare at me or make them feel uncomfortable”, he says with a quiet voice. You nod with empathy,”Well I think your scars are cool, especially with your quirk, when you’re not going overboard to hurt yourself”, you say with a nervous laugh. Dabi scoffs playfully at this and shakes his head,”We should probably go, the opening ceremony is probably finished”, you nod and open the door and step out of the car.
Dabi reaches for his back pocket and grabs the black leather gloves, he slips his hands into the gloves, he fixes his hair a bit and once he was done he got out of the car. The night was cold enough to make you shiver as soon as you stepped out of the car first, you fiddles with your small bag and turned your attention to Dabi once he stepped out of the car. Dabi closed the door and locks it with his car keys, he turns to look at your and holds out a hand,”Shall we, doll?”, you smiled and reached for his hand.
You hooked your arms around his arm, humming at the warmth coming off from him, you both walked up to the venue. You looked at the people who were dressed for the occasion, some ladies in red dresses, some in cocktail, beige, black, dark blue. Men in suit and tie all in dark colours but you know none of them stand a slight chance with Dabi, you realised that there also some in masks which made you a bit happy that Dabi wasn't the only on but you know that mask is going to cause some to stare a bit longer.
You both walked up the stairs, Dabi by your side all the way helping you get up the stairs cause heels aren't really your thing. You both reached the entrance of the huge venue and as soon as you looked up you were in awe at how big it is,”Woah... .just how well known is Shigaraki's Family Business is?”, you asked as you both walked up towards the large door. Dabi looks at you for a moment,”More famous than some people would know..he’s kind of a big deal around so parts”, he says.
You gave a short hum and turned your face away from him, you both entered and the person in the front greeted you both,”Welcome, please enjoy your night here at this exquisite party by thee Shigaraki”, you bowed repectfully at the man while Dabi just gave him a small nod. You walked inside the main hall where all the people were all at mingling with other people, you don’t recognise any faces here since you never really cared for famous people anyways.
So you sticked to Dabi’s side for now and try not to get lost in the sea of people,”Soo wheres the others? They should be around here right?”, you asked him. Dabi turns his head to look at you,”Yeah they should be around here.. somewhere but lets just find—“
“Ah, if it isnt Dabi. Fancy meeting you here, care for a short talk?”
A man that looks way too old is accompanied with two other girls that had their makeup way to caked on and dress thats way too skimpy, Dabi lets out a low groan and looks back at you,”Walk the right and you’ll find a table full of food, I’ll talk to this man for a bit..”, you nod and removed your arms from him and walked towards to where Dabi pointed at.
---
Dabi watches you leave and turns back to the old man,”So who’s the pretty lady?”, he asks making Dabi roll his eyes,”None of your goddamn concern, she isnt interested in old shits like you”, the man laughs heavily ans blows on his cigar. Dabi absolutely hates people who has a stick far up their ass,”Now now dont get too possessive now, she’s quite the gem that dress looks eye-catching—“, the girls that were sticked to him like glue whined.
“I thought we were more cuter Sir!”
“Yeah, what she said!”
The man laughs and tries to calm down both jealous girls down,’This fucking whores.. i swear to fucking god’, he did not like the idea of talking to his possible business partner, maybe an enemy or his victim but he couldnt kill him right now. That could cause an uproar and lots of eyes turning to stare at them plus he just go here and most importantly.
You are at this party
Thats what stopping him from charring this man to ashes but he could always save that for later,”Fuck off old fart you better state your business with me or I’ll burn you to bits”, he raises his hands just on his waist level making the man step back just a bit. He clears his throat while the girls fix his tie and dust off the none existent dirty,”A-ahem right business— erm right where was I”, the man spits out whatever offer he has to say.
Dabi puts both of his hands in his pocket clearly half listening to what he has to say,”—my men has a few things to offer you for your leaders ever growing business! I heard you were looking for a skilled healer and have more than enough to offer you some in exchange for something”, His thoughts were cut off when he recalls Shigaraki saying they needed a healer.
“A skilled healer huh.. I’m listening but if this is a joke,—“, Dabi removes his right glove and reaches for the mans tie,”I’m taking you out and might as well rob your fucking business out with it, old shit”, and burns the mans tie just a bit.
  ---
While that was happening you were far from where Dabi was and finally reaching the long table that had bite sized food,”Dabi wasn’t joking when he said a table full of food, it really is!”, you looked at all the food that was diplayed on separate trays. Eclairs, sushi, creampuffs, shucked oysters—probably really fresh but a lot of people are grabbing it, bites sizes cakes, a tower of macarons and many more that you couldnt name
‘What to eat first— eh whatever i reach first I’ll eat it!’,you grabbed a toothpick and reach for a small bite sized sushi and took a whole bite out of it. You hum savoring the rish flavor,”This taste so good!”, you turned to scan what to pick next. Since you started with something raw maybe you should eat a few more raw dishes, you ate a few salmon sashimi then tuna sashimi then— whatever raw fish you ate.
You didnt at too much of it since you needed space for dessert,”Wine, maam?”, a waiter asks you. You shook you head and he nods and walks away, you reached for the glass of water and took a sip to clear your palette. You moved on to desserts now,”Okay.. what to choose first!”, you eyes the various desserts laid in front of you like pieces of jewelry.
“I guess I’ll start with you first!”, you reached for the chocolate ganache cube, you smiled at the velvety texture and lovely taste. You reached for one more and moved on with the next, you eyed the tower of macarons, your eyes sparkled as you looked at each tier. Each their had its own flavour and colour you decided to start with the first tier, you grabbed the pink macaron and took a a small bite, as you chew on it and shiver at the sweet taste,’It’s a raspberry flavour, the raspberry red cream in the middle surrounded in a sweet white cream. I love it!’, you smiled at the taste.
You eat the whole macaron, thankful its a mini macaron, you moved the next tier which was a slightly off colour white and had a caramelised glazed on top,’I bet this is crem brûlée!’, you took a small bite of it. You swoon at the taste taking your time to savour the taste, you held your cheek and sigh happily,”This tastes so good... if I've known Shigaraki held this kind of parties I wouldn't hesitate to dress up in fancy clothes and eat fancy food!”, you joked to yourself.
You ate the remaining macaron in a heartbeat,”I should slow down.. that also reminds me”, you turned to look behind you trying to find a certain someone. That certain someone was Dabi, you felt like he was still talking to that man that had those two girls clinging on to him,’He’s probably still chatting with that man.. of maybe he is being bombarded with people who want to talk to him?’, you sighed feeling a little bit left out.
The party was filled with unknown faces that made you want to shrink, since you didn't really care for famous faces to begin with you felt like you did not belong here. I mean you had to no like, social status what so ever and your weren't really good in talking to strangers since you always kept to yourself.
Considering the society you live and all the danger thats probably lurking around...
You sighed you realising you lost an appetite to keep eating so you just stare at the food instead deciding to look at it like art displayed on the long table but of course picking up a food that caught your eyes and just moved along. You walked to the right side of the table thats seems to be never ending, your eyes scanned the food as you walked at a slow pace,’I wonder wheres Dabi, he seems to be taking his sweet time--’
“Hey now ladies! I’m sure there's more of me to go around”
You stopped walking eyes going wide, you knew that voice-- you knew that voice so well, you used to hear that voice everyday and love it but now you wanted nothing more to forget everything when he dumped you. You turned your head to look behind you, made up excuses in your head that maybe it wasn't him, you were proven wrong when your eyes meet a blonde tuffs of hair, he didn’t have his huge red wings behind him, you guessed he hid them seeing as it was too eye-catching. Your face, now in a frown, scrunched into a disgusted expression when you saw him, surrounded by thirsty women.
The old you would've probably blushed and covered her face trying to look away but sneaked a small peek at him, you scoffed and decided to just walk away from him and all the woman that flaunt their body all over him. A small part of you was pissed, angry and betrayed, if you would've known he was just a heartbreaker you wouldn't have gave everything to him so willingly, and for two years.
‘Ugh.. what a jerk..’
You spat in your mind seemingly to lose interest in staying near the table,”Hmph! Whatever.. he’s just a jerk..”, You turned your face away from him and walked away.

for the ask prompts! since this is a deku supremacy blog, lemme get #13, 19, 23, 48, and as a freebee: what’s our resident dekutie’s dirtiest secret? -😌✨
Hell yeah sparkles Deku supremacy 100% also I hope you don’t mind but I’m gonna add 22 and 26 onto here because I wanna talk about Izuku’s 🍆 and kinks I just love him so much 😭❤️
(Once again all characters are depicted as 18+)
Tumblr media
13. If they could swap quirks with someone who would it be?
I think before Izuku had OFA he’d probably take any quirk if it had been offered to him; but now that he’s got All Might’s quirk he’s very attached to it. That being said, if he had the chance to switch quirks I’d say he’d either choose Tokoyami or Bakugou.
For Tokoyami we already know Izuku think’s he’s pretty cool; I think he digs the dark aesthetic Tokoyami has and wouldn’t mind taking Dark Shadow. It’s such a unique quirk that Izuku would absolutely use having it as a learning experience.
For Bakugou Izuku has a lot of feelings regarding their past, though they have definitely reconciled as adults he still has lingering guilt about being All Might’s chosen successor; even though he really has nothing to feel guilty about. He knows Bakugou admired All Might just as much as he did and he knows Bakugou still feels like he was the one to ultimately end All Might’s career. If he could give Bakugou OFA he definitely would (nevermind that he has before) Plus having Bakugou’s quirk wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing, he is and has always been Dynamight’s biggest fan after all.
19. What are their biggest turn ons?
Izuku has a FUCKTON of kinks and as a result is very easily turned on, just lean into one of them and he’ll be hard in less than a minute. (His stamina and recovery time are off the charts though so please don’t try anything if you’ve got places to be soon, you WILL miss them)
Nothing gets Izuku harder than praise, but it has to come from very specific people and in very specific ways. A random civilian telling him they think he’s cool won’t do it but if his SO were to tell him the outline of his dick through his costume was turning them on you bet that’d get him there.
Izuku also loves seeing his SO in anything revealing. If you’ve got any type of cute lingerie don’t be afraid to pull it out. It drives him wild to see your body hidden by laces and frills and silk. Just don’t get anything All Might themed, contrary to popular belief Izuku does not want to be thinking about his father figure stand in when he’s about to fuck you into the mattress. Shocker I know.
22. What are their kinks?
Buckle the fuckle UP because I have got a LIST for y’all
Praise kink: As I said Izuku loves to be praised, it helps dispel some of his lingering insecurity and self doubt. It means the most when it comes from his SO, but he especially enjoys hearing praises about his body. Start in on how good pleasure looks on his face while fucking and he might just bust inside you right there and then. Speaking of...
Breeding: If you’ve got a vagina I suggest you be on some STRONG birth control because Izuku can’t go a day without pumping a load into you. This is his biggest kink, he absolutely adores the feeling of releasing inside of you, coating your insides with cum and feeling you clench around him.
And he’s not one to stop at a single round, oh no you’ll be there for hours getting load after load shot directly into you. Izuku is a responsible person of course, it’s not that he wants kids right away; but mimicking the act of it, or even just hearing you say you want him to finish inside you drives him absolutely wild.
He just can’t help himself, he really can’t. He’d never ever pressure his SO into doing something they didn’t want to, so if you ask him to wear a condom he absolutely will with no hesitation. But if you’re into this kink be prepared to have it exercised frequently and often without warning. Izuku is a horny mother fucker with an intense sex drive, you won’t go a day without being bent over some piece of furniture.
Somnophilia: Izuku’s days are lengthy and difficult, he gets very few days off and very few breaks while on the clock. The number one pro hero does have to be constantly on top of things to maintain status after all, so in comes the issue of spare time and energy.
Make no mistake; Izuku has enough stamina to work a whole twelve hour day patrolling and dealing with various disasters/villains and come home to fuck you for another three hours before finally succumbing to exhaustion, the issue is that you’re frequently already asleep by the time he gets home.
So Izuku breached the idea of Somnophilia with you, just as something you could potentially be interested in (definitely not taking this opportunity to exercise a kink he’s been keeping in secret for years now, no honey certainly not). Basically if you’re already asleep by the time he gets home you’ve got an agreement that he can use your body to get himself off should he desire it, and you’re welcome to do the same should you wake up in the middle of the night.
He’s ever so careful when he fucks you like this, choosing to play with you or eat you out so you’re wet enough for him. He’ll penetrate you slowly, so as not to wake you up, and grind himself into you for hours, using your body to edge himself before finally releasing inside of you. You’ll often wake up with him still resting inside of you, hard and leaking inside you once again. Which segways nicely into...
Cock Warming: On particularly lazy days, the ever so elusive day off, Izuku likes to spend the day snuggled up close to you watching movies on the couch. And hey, if his cock is buried deep within you while you’re doing that then it’s only an improvement. As I said Izuku has excellent stamina and a fast recovery time but he’s also got enough willpower to hold himself back while you squirm and whimper on top of him. In fact he loves watching you wiggle in his lap, trying to get something, anything, by way of pleasure.
Izuku’s so thick he fills you out pretty nicely as well, any sort of movement even if it’s only a slight jostling or him re-adjusting his position will send sparks of pleasure up your spine. If you’re good he’ll grind himself into you, being sure to go excruciatingly slow, but don’t expect to be proper fucked for a long while. He just enjoys watching you come apart on top of him too much to give you what you want immediately.
Edging: While Izuku may enjoy pumping load after load into his SO’s pliant body, he’s also very much into edging. There’s just something about driving his partner to near orgasm only to stop just before they break that turns him on. He loves hearing you whine and squirm and complain about being so close, it only makes the look on your face as he finally lets you come that much better.
Overstimulation: Speaking of coming, don’t think he’s going to let you get off and then be done. No he’s the type to fuck you through your orgasm and directly into another one. He doesn’t particularly care when you say it’s too much, he’ll whisper sweet words in your ear about how well you’re taking him and how much you deserve to come again. He praise you to heaven and back while fucking your oversensitive body into the mattress, keeping your hands pinned above your head so you’ve got no option to just lay back and let him force orgasm after orgasm out of you.
Domination/Submission: Izuku Midoriya is a pure switch and no one can tell me any differently. He enjoys dominating his SO just as much as he enjoys being dominated. He’s not sure what turns him on more; forcing your face into the mattress as he fucks you from behind or having you force his head between your legs to use his mouth for your pleasure. Either way you can be sure he’s having a great time.
Face Sitting/Oral: Playing off his favorite body parts (found below) as well as his Dom/Sub kink, Izuku will frequently pull you onto his face and show you just how well he can eat you out. And wow does this man know how to give head, his technique is flawless and often has you coming in under a minute. A kinder man would let you up once you finish but you’ve seen this kink list, you’re not getting away from him until his face is soaked and you’ve come at least five or six times.
Pegging: Izuku’s not all about penetrating his SO, he will very much let them have a go at him should they want to. He’ll let an SO with a cock top him any time they like and he’s got a myriad of dildos for an SO who needs a strap.
He’s a whiny bottom as well, squirming and gasping as he’s being driven into. He cums quick when he’s being penetrated, unable to hold himself back as he’s being fucked with everything you’ve got. Don’t go easy on him, otherwise he’ll flip you over and ride the strap himself. He’s a sight to behold when he does that so maybe do take it easy on him if you want a show.
Mommy Kink: Don’t fight me on this one Izuku Midoriya has a mommy kink and I won’t be convinced otherwise. This one is the one he’s most embarrassed about because he has NO idea where it came from. He just woke up one day and decided it would be SUPER EROTIC to call his SO Mommy.
He dials it back if this SO isn’t into that but if you’re fine with it then just go ahead and make that “Bitch I’m A Mother! No Drama!” tiktok trend yours because he’ll be calling you mommy every other minute he’s fucking you. And as we’ve already established, that is quite frequently.
Primal: Again I won’t fight on this!! Izuku Midoriya is into the predator/prey shit, deadass. This one he stumbled across last while with his SO, just playing a casual game of hide and go seek in the dark of their apartment (as adults do, you know. Listen sometimes you just need something new to do alright stop judging). He found pretty quickly that prowling around in the dark in search of you was incredibly arousing. His ears straining as he listened for any sound that could potentially give your location away, he started thinking of all the things he could do to you once he found you.
You, meanwhile, were of a similar mindset as you hid crumpled up in the corner of your shared closet. Your heart racing as you sat awaiting him, thinking about him tackling you to the ground and fucking you right there in the closet.
Oh and he did eventually find you, crouched in the corner holding your breath as he stalked towards you on all fours. You made a break for it but he was much too quick for you and you quickly found your face pressed into the carpet, Izuku’s hot breath on your face as he ground his hard cock into your ass already pulling your clothes off you.
“Caught you kitten”
Voyeurism: Izuku loves to learn and the best way to do so is to observe and take notes. He’s been doing this for so long that it just becomes second nature for him to record something new he sees, muttering all the while. So it comes as no surprise that he enjoys watching his SO, you don’t even have to be doing anything interesting! You could just be putting the dishes away and he’ll be somewhere in the background, just observing.
Naturally this carries over into his sex life, Izuku is a voyeur and arguably has been for the longest time. He could spend hours just watching his SO touch themselves, mentally recording their movements and what get the greatest reaction from them. He’s got your masturbation habits down to a T at this point and can mentally go through your routine movement by movement.
Some days he won’t even touch you, instead choosing to let you get yourself off in various ways while he watches from afar. He especially loves when he’s shrouded in darkness and you’re illuminated by a soft light. It gives him a rush to think about seeing without being seen.
Clothed Sex: Izuku doesn’t like quick sex, I think at this point that’s evident. He very much prefers to take his time fucking you into oblivion, but if he does have to get it done quickly he enjoys clothed sex. Something about being completely dressed while fucking you in your work outfit/hero costume really sets him off. Bonus points if he comes inside you and you don’t have time to get cleaned up. He finds the idea of you going about your day with his cum leaking out of you incredibly arousing.
23. Do they have a favorite body part on their SO?
Izuku loves everything about his SO but he has a particular fondness for three things: Tits, ass, and thighs regardless of shape or size. (And yes my male/masculine enby readers, titties does include pecks)
Did I mention he can’t keep his hands to himself? Because he can’t. He’s particularly handsy and loves to grope his SO from behind, mostly because this gives his hands access to their chest and his cock the ability to grind against their ass and thighs.
26. 🍆 Headcanons?
It’s always the quiet ones that have the biggest dicks, always. This man is hung sporting a 8.9 inch cock that’s thicker than a soda can. He’s aware of his size and as a result will always air on the side of caution when fucking his SO. The last thing he wants to do is send them to the ER with a bruised pelvis, the media would have a field day with that one. (Number One Pro Hero Deku breaks his partners spine with his massive horse cock! More at eleven!)
He’s not very veiny, having just a few small ones on the sides, but he does have a mass of freckles all over his dick, especially at the base. He’s a bit self conscious about this but honestly it’s adorable and you make a point to frequently tell him so.
He’s got the same thickness throughout so if it’s difficult to get the tip in (which it will be at first, regardless) it’s going to be difficult the whole way through. Keep a decent amount of lube nearby and you can manage it though, and he fucks so frequently that eventually your body will just take the shape of his cock and be ready for him at any time. Which makes life easier for the both of you. He also curves upwards ever so slightly, it’s barely noticeable until he’s inside you.
Izuku has an excellent diet as he’s kept pretty strictly to it for years now, only ever having junk food every now and again and in very small portions. As a result he is incredibly pleasant and almost sweet to taste.
48. Which of the seven deadly sins do they most embody?
It’s not that Izuku is the embodiment of Lust or Envy, it’s more that he doesn’t embody the others in any way, shape, or form. His connection to Lust and Envy isn’t strong enough to be immediately noticeable but oh how it is definitely there.
First off; Lust. Did I say that Izuku can’t keep his hands to himself? I don’t think I made that clear yet, he can’t keep his hands to himself. Make no mistake he’s respectful and would never touch anyone without consent, but when he’s with his SO he can’t just have a simple and sweet cuddle session without groping them.
His envy would have developed at a very early age and even after gaining OFA it wouldn’t have gone away. He gets incredibly envious of the abilities of others very easily, being very aware that regardless of how much he’s improved everyone with a natural-born quirk would have had more time than him to hone their abilities. It’s why he takes so many notes, he constantly feels like he’s falling behind. The silver lining to this envy is that it pushes him to do better and work even harder on improving himself, though he’ll never stop feeling like he’s at a disatvantage.
50. Freebee: What’s Izuku’s dirtiest secret?
Izuku is a horny bitch and therefore has several dirty secrets he’s taking to his grave. His worse one would probably be the time he got his bullet vibrator stuck inside him and had to go about his day at work with it brushing up against his prostate constantly. Everyone just assumed he was overworked or maybe even sick at the time, but little did they know that every time he ran off to the bathroom he was actually just cleaning the cum from his costume.
It wasn’t all bad though, eventually he did run dry and ended up just shooting blanks for the rest of the day. He didn’t have to run off every time he came to clean himself off but he did get several odd looks when he was unable to hold back his grunts and moans.
Needless to say he gave his costume a thorough washing after that day.
Sorry this took so long! There were a lot of questions with this one and I added a few myself ❤ I love Izuku so much and I wanted to make sure his asks were good ❤ (With the amount of times I covered my face while writing this you’d think I was a virgin)

Do you have a My Hero academia OC? Also have I been an blind idout this whole time and your name is Deku???
Short answer: Yes!
Long answer: fuck yes, i have so many! How much time do you have?
I have a draft on here of just ideas. Not all my ideas panned out or haven't been fleshed out though (some were just a scenario i daydreamed about which i didn't add) and quite a few involve transfer students or something like that. I have like 3 oc ideas for like next gen ocs, i won't put them here though, (one is an Ot3 child, one is a midotsuyu child, and one is a shinsocha just cause i planned the quirk first and uraraka fit best)
Example:
I have one that is essentially if an oc of Fma/fmab was sent through the gate/portal thing similar to in the '03 anime tied with something sorta similar to @nightstorms-universes 's Blair. Like they were sent through the gate before the big battle thing and ended up being born in another universe but still retaining their memories of fma verse. (I am totally leaving out so many details lmao) so they have a mha verse which they have a magic quirk alongside the alchemy from fma, they have a Hp verse, and literally any other fandom i want. Idk how they change universes yet though death is one option or maybe truth pulls them through another portal when they have "learned" something.
I have an oc that is Deku's twin which i named Midoriya "Haruto" Haruo. She was a late bloomer in the quirk department as her quirk didn't manifest until Izuku received OFA. Her quirk is a stronger version of their mother's quirk.I had it where she received a scar on her face from Bakugou when she got between him and Izuku. I paired her with Todoroki.
I have one that is a Todoroki twin oc. Her name is Todoroki Atsuko and there are two Versions of her storyline.
Raised by Endeavor storyline: Grew up alongside her twin, has similar abilities to him except she can change the properties to her flames which allows them to heal instead of harm. She learned this by accidentally healing herself and Shouto a bit not long after their mother scarred them. It wasn't completely healed but it is a lot less bright or noticable. Unlike her Twin, She was not trained by Endeavor or given a recommendation into UA. Shouto helped her a lot with training and was a better and kinder teacher. She took the same entrance exam thing as Deku but was in the same group as Kirishima. I am not 100% on a ship but either Deku, Kirishima, or (if he isn't Touya) Dabi.
Raised by Dabi (who is Touya) storyline: Endeavor basically disowned her when she is still really small because he thought she was quirkless (Touya hasn't disappeared yet). Touya was the one that she had first reached out to as a baby and had gripped his finger. He had taught her to walk, talk, and ride a bike. He had seen her use her quirk (if she has one in this version). If she has a quirk it would be the same as the RbE storyline, Dabi is less scarred though potentially he still would smell like burnt flesh (if that is what he smells like lmao). When Touya becomes Dabi, Atsuko becomes Rin. Probably at least starts as a Villian Au. Maybe she goes undercover in UA and she is the traitor. She is close to Toga. Would probably be shipped with Deku or maybe Kirishima or Denki? There is definitely potential for them to change her side, both for the LI and for her twin. Dabi likely didn't let her know everything just as a precaution since he would know her really well.
More recently i have been playing the beginning idea that gave me Atsuko until the idea of a character with a phoenix quirk hit me (ngl i have had many daydreams involving a phoenix quirk but this one panned out best into an oc). I ship her with Fatgum who is her boyfriend at least. She isn't a hero as she was always verbally shot down by people saying her quirk was not offensive enough to be a hero quirk (or something like that) but idk what job she would have. I ended up daydreaming that she ended up basically strong arming her way into helping Endeavor's kids after his wife was not there so that Fuyumi wouldn't have to act as a mother to her brothers. So fatgum and the oc become like aunt and uncle figures to the kids. Once all might gets injured, the oc kinda pulls him and sir nighteye into the folds. Once they start getting sidekicks; like Tamaki and mirio and kirishima and deku, the oc just adores them all and acts motherly/auntly(?) Toward them. (I currently love this one the best but i need to plan it better *screams*)
I have a quirkless oc with two potential versions. In both, the OC was born in America (i am projecting so :P) and moved to Japan with their father.
Transfer student version: Moved to Japan when her father got a job offer just before she went into High school, the job offered her the chance to apply at UA which she took despite being quirkless, which was another reason she moved as her mom was very much against her ambition to be a quirkless hero, as well as have a translation device in order to help her communicate until she became able to communicate in Japanese by herself. Her dad was a bit worried about that but he went out of his way to give her training she might need from Karate and first aid classes as a child, self defense and boxing classes in middle school, and he taught her to fight with polearms himself. He always encouraged her to figure out ways to counter the quirks of people she met or saw in the media and she became really good at it. She gets into class 1A because she never planned on fighting the robots, she always planned on saving people and because that was her plan she succeeded. Not everyone is happy about it and she almost was last in Aizawa's test thing on the first day but she just barely beat Izuku. She isn't really tactical but she is good at thinking on her feet and taking the option that makes the most sense to her, it often is not the simplest or most logical but somehow works out for her. I ship this version with Shinsou.
Childhood friend version: around the time she learned she was quirkless as a small child, Her dad got a job offer that woyld take him to live in Japan. with little convincing towards her mother aside from not revealing his plan, She was allowed to go with him. He hoped that in Japan, She might be able to accomplish her goal of being a hero despite lacking a quirk. She befriends Izuku on her very first day and often lands in fights with Bakugou which leaves her with a lot of scars but none are very noticable unless looking for them. She ends up either in the general studies or maybe support class? I ship this version with Deku.
That is all i got off the top of my head. Though like i said, i only put the ones that actually panned out into an oc. I have had so many ideas that just stayed as self inserty daydreams that i didn't flesh out or write down and ngl so many of them were shipping with Deku cause i am a huge dork. I did have a few with like Tamaki, Hawks, Kirishima, and Toga too haha.
Just in case @melyaliz / @insideoflit (don't want you to miss it haha)

HeroAca Theory (response): Shinso Hitoshi will reveal the UA Traitor (I don't think so)
Note: SPOILERS if you're not caught up to the manga. S4 does not cover some of the events I am going to make reference to. You've been warned.
A while ago, I saw a theory that stated Shinso Hitoshi would reveal the UA traitor with his Quirk. I didn't give it too much thought for a while until I read the Joint-Class battle stuff where Hitoshi got to join them. Hitoshi explained his Quirk to the others--that he couldn't get someone to use their own brain while under his control. He used the example of asking someone to copy a name vs. asking them to write down information from their own mind. I think that explanation sort of shuts down the "Hitoshi's gonna use his Quirk, interrogating people believed to be the traitor and getting them to confess" and I don't think his Quirk works that way anymore. For example, if he were to take Hagakure Toru--someone suspected of being 'the UA Traitor'--get her under his spell, and start interrogating her/telling her to answer questions, I don't think his Quirk would work that way. It seems like he can't make people speak with his Quirk. He could probably make them parrot what's said to them in real-time, but every use of his Quirk so far has rendered the targets silent. Let's say he could get someone to speak under his control--I don't think they'd be able to decide which words to use--they'd be parroting back whatever's said to them at best...so I doubt they'd be able to actually answer any questions. Also, there are probably laws and stuff that render a coerced confession not valid. Being under the influence of Hitoshi's Quirk would probably call into question the validity of anything that was said.
In the battle-training arc, Hitoshi explained that he can't make someone use their own brain under his Quirk. He used "Asui Tsuyu" as an example--"copy this" and the person could do it...but "write down Froppy's real name" wouldn't work. Unless Hitoshi was with-holding the truth ('cuz investigation was supposedly underway), or he trains his Quirk up to the point where he's able to get people to answer questions, I don't think it's possible that he can reveal a potential traitor. "Are you the traitor?" "Did you tell the League about All Might supposedly making an appearance at USJ?" "Did you tell the League of Villains where Classes 1-A and 1-B were having their Summer Training Camp?"--it doesn't sound like Hitoshi's Quirk will allow the target to answer these questions. Using the "copy this" vs. "what's that person's name" example he gave, it seems like he can't get his targets to reveal any information that he doesn't already know/prompt them with. Even something like "we suspect you of being the traitor because your whereabouts were unknown for x moment--retrace your steps and allow us to follow you as you go back there"...I don't think that could work either in the event of trying to get the traitor to take them along on a meeting with a Villain contact or something.
I think that it's possible there's an inadvertent traitor at UA (Aoyama Yuuga being my top-choice for an inadvertent traitor...and potentially Hagakure Toru because the theories I've heard/seen are pretty convincing). However, I don't think Hitoshi will be the one to reveal them. I think his character/Quirk/story is there for other things. He shows us that there's still discrimination in the world of HeroAca. Like Bakugo Katsuki, he shows us that what the masses think of you doesn't define you. When Katsuki was kidnapped, he went in already with "I'm going to be a Hero and nothing will change my mind" in his head. It didn't matter that tabloids thought his conduct at the Sports Festival was clearly Villain-behavior. It didn't matter that the Villains actually tried to recruit him. He decided he wanted to be a Hero regardless of what other people said. I think Hitoshi is the same way. People call his Quirk that of a Villain's and he missed the mark on getting into the Hero Course the first time because the entrance exam is pretty clearly geared toward combat-type Quirks. Despite all that, Hitoshi is doing his best to become a Hero. I think that's what Horikoshi's grand narrative for Hitoshi is and I don't think revealing a potential traitor with his Quirk is in the cards. Maybe he will be the one to uncover potential traitors, but I don't think it'll be as a result of his Quirk.
Time will tell. It's possible that future events in the series will prove that nobody is a traitor and it's plot-thread that sorta fizzled out. We can't forget that there are shape-shifting Quirks too and it's possible that a Villain infiltrated via becoming one of the teachers or students. It's also possible that their costumes are another thing. Some of the students costumes appear to have the double-dot trademark of the Re-Destro dude. It's possible that their costumes contain a location-services tracker thing and that the villains got their locations that way. It's why they showed up to the USJ looking for All Might despite the fact that All Might wasn't there at the time--they thought he was because they knew 1-A was going to be at USJ and somehow heard that All Might would be there...so they followed the 1-A kids. They showed up to the Summer Training Camp intent on capturing Katsuki...and Katsuki's costume has the double-dots on it so it's possible that's how they knew.
I don't wanna believe that any of the characters we've come to love would sell out the others. Even the League of Villains shows loyalty to each other and we've grown to love the LoV even though they're the antagonists. Horikoshi has created an amazing story where we even feel for the bad guys (i.e. Twice). I think  that making one of the staff/students at UA a traitor would go against everything Horikoshi built up--the idea that the characters are loyal to each other. It's not just about being loyal to a regime or an ideal--proven with Iida Tenya's revenge arc and Stain. Tenya pushed away his friends for the pursuit of revenge for his family and he was saved by his friends, by 1-A. Since then, he hasn't been entirely loyal to his "class president" title or being a "model citizen"--it was shown when he went along with the Bakugo Rescue Operation (BRO ftw!). He knew they were breaking laws. He knew it was personal--especially for Izuku. Rather than telling them to stop or doing the "proper" thing and getting the attention of teachers/Heroes/the authorities, he went with them. He proved that he was loyal to his friends, not to laws and rules and whatever. It's been happening with the other students too. Asui Tsuyu didn't go with them on BRO, but she did tell them something along the lines of "leave it to the Heroes--breaking the laws and going out to try to save Katsuki on your own makes you no different than Villains". After moving into the dorms she didn't retract her words, but she was upset that her friends went anyway. She explained that she knew her words were harsh--she knew she was essentially calling them Villains, but she wasn't hurt by the fact that they broke the law(s) and were essentially 'villains' by her words--she was upset by the fact that it didn't stop them and it felt like a personal betrayal. Rather than being upset at them for breaking the rules, Tsuyu was more upset by the fact that she couldn't look them in the eye and laugh and have fun with each other because she was still reflecting on the whole "I told them that I'd see them as Villains if they went and did the thing...and they did the thing. They're not Villains--they're my friends...b-but what if they think that I think that they are Villains?" Tsuyu was upset with the fact that she felt like her friends had betrayed her, that they didn't care if she saw them as Villains because they cared about Katsuki more than her or whatever. It was a personal betrayal to her more than a betrayal of the law. I think moments like those prove (to me) that the people of 1-A at least are loyal to each other and that's why I don't want to imagine any of them as a willing traitor. Their bonds to each other seem to matter more to them than the laws of society or even what their parents or other adults would think.

BnHA Bonus Rant #4: Bakumom
Okay guys. This is my post about Bakugou Mitsuki. This is actually my third attempt at trying to write a post on this topic; I tried to do one back when I was getting ready to post the recap for chapter 96, but wasn’t able to coherently get across all of the thoughts I wanted to convey, so I ended up deleting it. Then in response to one of the comments on that recap, I ended up writing another post, and this time I managed to get out almost 1200 words on the subject! But during the editing process, I realized that it just wasn’t something I had the energy to discuss. The topic of “is this character abusive” is obviously a very sensitive one, and something that a lot of people have very strong feelings about, and I realized that my post wasn’t going to convince anyone one way or the other, and that it was more likely to lead to a discussion that I had absolutely no spoons for. Like, all my spoons went into the post itself, and that was it. So in the end I scrapped that too (and my apologies to @temperatezone, who made a very reasonable point very tactfully, which I basically ended up just ignoring because at the time I wasn’t ready to get into it).
Before we start -- regarding spoilers, I’ve done my best to keep this post spoiler-free so long as you are caught up with the anime (or have read up to the manga equivalent, which is around chapter 125 or thereabouts). There is, however, one manga spoiler in here from chapter 165 (which, if you’ve read the chapter, you’ll know why it was unavoidable, seeing as it pertains directly to the subject at hand). It is not in any way a plot spoiler; it’s basically a single line from one of the characters, and the details regarding where and when that line is said are irrelevant, so I’ve left that out. So if you are anime-only, it’s up to you whether you want to skip this post or not, but that will be the only spoiler in here.
So now that I’m on my third attempt, I’ve done a bit more thinking on how I want to approach this. Basically, I think the problem I kept running up against before is that as far as I can see, there are two ways to look at this. The first is by looking at the author’s intent. “Okay, the scene is clearly presented in the context of humor and is a classic example of the well-established Tough Love style of anime parenting (see also: Izumi from FMA, Reborn from KHR, Isshin from Bleach, etc.) and not meant to be taken in an overly deep way. The scene immediately afterward with her ruffling Katsuki’s hair and thanking Aizawa for his understanding and mentioning her worry and relief during and after the kidnapping and asking his teachers to help guide him is meant to serve as a contrast to the violence and shouting and insults to show that contrary to that initial impression, she loves and cares about him just like any other mother. The scene is meant as a lighthearted way of showing where Bakugou inherited his loud and angry temperament from, and kind of jokingly implying that he’s more or less just a clone of his mom.”
Whereas the other approach is to look at what the author is actually portraying. “It doesn’t matter if it was intended to be a joke or not; she is abusive. She smacks him repeatedly for basically no reason, and screams at him and insults him to this degree even when there are other people present. Perhaps more disturbingly, she implies that him being kidnapped was his own fault, because he was ‘weak.’ Later on we learn that he genuinely believes this and has internalized it, and blames himself not only for getting kidnapped, but for what it led to with All Might losing his powers as a consequence. Even further down the line, Bakugou makes a throwaway remark to the effect of ‘[violence is] how I was raised.’ This implies that it wasn’t just a one-time thing and that his mother is like this all the time, to the point where violence is basically the norm for him and he doesn’t even realize how fucked up it is.”
So those are basically the two perspectives here. And for me, I realized that the problem that I had was that both of these perspectives are valid. At least I think they are. If I were to try to argue the former -- which was my first instinct -- I would in all likelihood have to try and refute the latter. And honestly, I don’t think I would be able to do that, because that argument is a completely valid argument. Not to mention I don’t have much of a leg to stand on as far as trying to argue that Horikoshi’s intentions matter more than his end results, because if you’ve read any of my recaps, you know that this is basically the one and only time I’ve ever said that, lol. I’ve never particularly cared about his harmless intentions when it comes to Mineta, or overly sexualized teenage girls, or Ochako being comically poor, or any of the other topics I’ve occasionally bitched about. So it seems a bit hypocritical for me to suddenly start arguing that now.
So I won’t. Instead, I’m going to go ahead and acknowledge that it’s a valid interpretation. Regardless of what Horikoshi was going for, if you’re looking solely at the end result, then yeah. What he showed us can definitely be taken as abuse. I don’t think it’s an overreaction, and there is a lot to back it up.
That being acknowledged, what I’m going to talk about instead is why I have such a strong desire in this case to ignore the clumsy way the relationship is presented in canon, and to instead view the relationship the way I believe it’s intended to come across. Why do I so badly want for Bakugou to have a (more or less) healthy relationship with his parents? Why does the idea of him having a bad home life leave such a bad taste in my mouth?
And I think this is what it is: one of the key things that draws me to Bakugou’s character is that he doesn’t have A Tragic Past. There’s this tendency in shounen manga to give virtually every important character a sad backstory (looking at you in particular, Naruto and One Piece), with the level of tragedy gradually escalating as the series goes on, until you get to a point where the fandom is literally having debates over whose past is the most tragic. And this has kind of indirectly given rise to several beliefs that I often see articulated and/or implied in fandom:
That there must always be some observable external reason for a character’s personality and temperament, rather than that just being who they are.
That there is a direct correlation between the severity of a character’s past and the validity of that character’s actions. In other words, the person with the more tragic backstory has the moral upper hand in any dispute, simply because they’ve been through more bad shit.
That a character’s potential for redemption is directly tied to how sad their backstory is.
I see this all the time, and not just in shounen fandom for that matter. The basic idea seems to be that if bad things have happened to a character in the past, then it means any bad things they themselves have done are not their fault, and they should be forgiven and given a second chance. The thing is, I’ve always disliked this way of thinking, because to me it strays from what I think is the most crucial element of any redemption arc: taking responsibility.
Redemption, to me, shouldn’t simply be about whether we feel sorry for the character, or whether they have suffered enough and been punished enough for whatever it is they did, or even whether or not they had a good reason for it. To me, it’s about one thing and one thing only: is the character trying to be better. Do they want to change? Are they making the same mistakes over and over, or are they actually learning and trying to grow?
To me, redemption is an active process. It’s something the character has to seek out themselves. It’s not something that’s granted to them (key difference here between “redemption” and “forgiveness”), nor does it matter whether or not anyone else thinks they deserve it. For me, at least, it’s simply a matter of whether or not the character is willing to take responsibility for their mistakes, and whether they actually take action toward becoming better.
That being said, this is the main problem I have with the “Mitsuki is abusive” line of thinking: from what I have observed (and not always, mind you, but often enough), this headcanon tends to overlap with the idea that Bakugou’s violent behavior is not his fault, and that he’s only like that because of the way he was raised. In some cases I’ve seen it taken even further than that, with basically Bakugou’s entire backstory basically being rewritten to make him out as just a poor traumatized kid who would never have abused Izuku if it wasn’t for Mitsuki’s abuse, and so the blame actually falls on her and not him. And that, right there, is probably the biggest problem I have with this. That shifting of the blame. Making it so that Bakugou is absolved of responsibility for his own shitty actions, because it turns out that he was just a victim too.
And actually, it’s even more than that: it’s also the implied suggestion that this is the only way he can be redeemed. That he only qualifies for redemption if he had a good reason for his actions. That we can only feel sorry for him if he’s not to blame for the mistakes that he made, and if it Wasn’t His Fault.
And damn it, but I just take so much issue with this. Because to me, ironically enough, this narrative robs Bakugou of the agency that I personally believe is key to him getting the redemption arc he actually deserves. Does that make sense? Basically, I want Bakugou’s mistakes to be acknowledged as his own mistakes. Because they are. I want him to be able to take ownership of them and to realize what he did wrong. I want him to learn from those mistakes and to grow as a person because of them. I don’t want it to be all “oh sweetie it’s okay, it’s not your fault.” I want it to be “oh fuck, I really screwed up, and I hate the way I feel now because of it, and I never want to feel this way again, so I’m going to do better.”
Because that’s the only way that real change actually happens. When it comes from within, from the character’s own desire to change. I don’t want a “he was never really bad, just misunderstood” narrative; I want “he fucked up, but he is learning from it, and he is growing.” That’s what I want.
So that, I think, is why the whole thing bothers me so much, and why I just can’t get behind the idea. Again, I won’t deny that the evidence is there. I just choose to interpret it another way. And it is just that: a choice. It’s a conscious choice to read between the lines and to add my own headcanons where necessary and insert little justifications and explanations for things when needed.
Because to me, Bakugou having grown up in a supportive -- if chaotic -- household is important. It’s important because it shows that even people who grew up in healthy environments with no obvious trauma can fuck up regardless. And those people are still worthy of redemption.
I hope that all makes sense. (Particularly since if it doesn’t, I've just gone and pissed a whole bunch of people off, probably.) Anyways. So with all that being said, I’ll wrap this up with a list of my own personal headcanons about Mitsuki’s and Katsuki’s relationship.
First and foremost, if any of you have ever seen Malcolm in the Middle, I can very easily sum this all up by just saying that Mitsuki = Lois and Katsuki = Malcolm, Francis, and Reese all rolled up into one. That’s it. That’s the dynamic, right there.
But if you haven’t seen MitM, basically what I’m saying is that Katsuki is a precocious little brat who’s headstrong and rebellious and extremely independent and prone to only learning things the hard way, and Mitsuki is the stern and stubborn mom who is still caring and loving but also overbearing and aggressive. The two of them are always butting heads because they’re both extremely prideful and view themselves as always being right, and because Mitsuki’s overbearing tendencies clash directly with Katsuki’s independent streak.
Mitsuki actually is right more often than she’s not, which only fuels her own stubbornness as well at Katsuki’s teenage resentment towards her. She spent a lot of time when he was younger just trying to keep him from setting the house (and himself) on fire, and because he hardly ever listens, the two of them end up getting into a lot of screaming matches with each other, and nowadays that’s just kind of their dynamic and they’re just used to it.
She doesn’t actually think he’s weak, and she only said that because she knows that’s one of the few insults that rankles him enough to actually make him listen, and she was trying to get him to hush up and be respectful to his teachers, who were guests in their home and also his teachers, one of whom just saved his life and the other of whom defended his honor in a nationally broadcast press conference. And also this was part of the whole Japanese culture of being overly humble, and since she knew he was never gonna do it, she was kind of doing it for him. You know, like “thank you so much for saving me, I apologize for inconveniencing you.” Even though it wasn’t actually his fault.
He didn’t internalize the guilt about All Might because of what she said. I honestly think he barely even processed what she said because they’re always just yelling bullshit insults at each other that don’t actually really mean anything. He’s always been terrified of being weak precisely because he never has been. It’s the unknown. He wouldn’t know what to do if he wasn’t strong. It’s a fear he’s always had, and one that had been secretly growing stronger since he first started at U.A. What happened to All Might simply exacerbated that fear. It was already there, and he’d just kept it hidden for a very long time. His mom didn’t put the idea into his head, and never would have said it if she had even the slightest inkling that her cocky, arrogant, loudmouthed, forceful son was secretly harboring insecurities about that very thing.
Any violence in their household is the comedic shounen type of violence where no one is actually hurt in any way. But mostly it’s just loud.
They are so used to this being Just The Way Things Are that ironically, Katsuki would have been much more unsettled if, after he returned home following the kidnapping, his mom had been tender and affectionate. Mitsuki, being a smart mom, picked up on this, so in an effort to make him less uncomfortable, she took deliberate care to behave The Same As Always around him so that he could feel more normal. In fact she was actually still very freaked out herself for days afterward, much more so than she let on (because she’s just as bad at showing vulnerability as he is).
It actually helped. He will never ever acknowledge this out loud, but he realized what she was doing, and he’s grateful.
And I could go on and on, but I think this more or less summarizes how I view the two of them. They basically have their own language by this point, where phrases like “fuck you too” mean “I love you”, and so forth. She loves him to death and worries about him constantly and is so, so proud of him. He loves her too and she doesn’t piss him off nearly as much as he pretends, and he would be devastated beyond words if anything were to ever happen to her. He actually thinks she’s the strongest person he knows, maybe even tougher than All Might, and he would never, ever say this out loud.
Sooo... yeah. I’m trying to think of a good way to end this post now, but I can’t think of anything lol. I think I’ve said everything I wanted to. Tl;dr, I’ve made a conscious decision to view Mitsuki as a highly combative but loving parent to her troublesome tsundere son because I want Katsuki to man up and take responsibility for his own shit, because I love him. The end.

Midoriya Hisashi as All For One
Okay so I see this a lot.
“Midoriya Hisashi is All For One Theory!” “Deku’s Dad is All For One!” “All For One’s Son is Deku!”
And I’m kinda done with it? Unpopular opinion I guess? I don’t think Midoriya Hisashi is All For One.
Kay I’ll probably get mauled for this and yelled at and people aren’t going to agree but I just want everyone to hear my out? Like please don’t hate me because this is just my (and a friend’s) analysis and opinion of the BNHA world considering most factors and Horikoshi Kohei.
My main argument comes from a quote from a friend because it really defines what my response to the All For One dad theories is.
“Not everything has to be some sort of deep parallel or reference. That’s not how narratives work.”
The Doctor:
I see that a lot of people talk about the doctor, at this point in the manga, that we virtually know nothing about so I really don’t want to address it until we know more. Like, sure, we know that he’s probably the same quirk doctor Inko took Izuku to as a child and somehow this doctor is connected to All For One but we don’t know if this doctor has a cover job as a quirk specialist to function in society because the dude needs a job or if All For One is keeping an eye on Izuku like Aizen somehow kept an eye on Ichigo in Bleach and planned out everything like a freaky ass stalker like wtf Aizen. ANYWAYS, it’s something I really don’t want to cover at this point.
Shigaraki is related to All Might as the grandson of Shimura Nana so it would make sense that Izuku is related to All For One because parallelism!:
OKAY! Yes! All For One knowingly took in Shigaraki because he’s the grandson of Shimura Nana, the seventh One For All holder. All For One took in Shigaraki to have some sort of upperhand over All Might who loved his master so much. All For One is using Shigaraki as leverage - whether Shigaraki knows it or not. But just because All For One took in Shigaraki, someone who has a connection with a precious person to All Might, does not mean that there needs to be a parallel where All Might takes in Midoriya either knowing or not knowing that he is All For One’s son.
Shigaraki and Izuku - Their Relationship:
Another thing I see a lot is that Shigaraki and Izuku are seen as parallels to each other and that’s true. You’ll see it in posters, art, and manga panels that it’s Shigaraki and Izuku directly facing each other classically: protagonist versus antagonist. But when I really look into the characteristics and defining points of Shigaraki and Izuku I kind of lose the connection. It’s still there mind you, but I have to remind myself that they are connected - by fate or some shit.
Izuku just wants to be a hero. He wants to be the Symbol of Peace. He wants to save people - everyone in need of help.
Shigaraki wants something different. It’s not like Shigaraki wants to be the next Symbol of Evil, even if All For One is grooming Shigaraki to become his successor. Shigaraki makes it very clear what he wants. Shigaraki’s goal when he infiltrates the USJ is to kill the Symbol of Peace: All Might. Later, in the aftermath of the Stain Arc, we see that Shigaraki’s goal for the League is to “create a world without All Might. And cause enough destruction to show them all how fragile their justice really is… that’s [his] conviction. It’s all about All Might” (chapter 69 “Interview with Midoriya”). For Shigaraki we see the motivation of killing All Might in the newer chapters prominently. He was taken in by All For One when nobody wanted him after he probably accidentally disintegrated his family. All For One’s words most accurately describe how Shigaraki feels “’Surely a hero will...’ ‘Just leave it to the heroes to...’ Everyone used excuses like that to ignore you, didn’t they? Who in the world could do something like this to you?” (Chapter 222 “Shigaraki Tomura: Distortion”). Think about it. In a world with where peace is supposedly everywhere because of All Might, people become complacent. People will think “it’s not my job to help other people - that’s what heroes do”. Heck this is the world that discriminate against  people with “defective”, “lame”, “villainous” quirks and discriminate against those who don’t have quirks. Society in the BNHA has come to this point that I almost sympathize, despite hating characters like Shigaraki and Stain. Shigaraki and Stain are similar because they believe what they believe is correct and will do anything to achieve it. For Stain it was killing all the heroes he thought were fake. For Shigaraki that means killing All Might and recreating the justice in society in his own image. In this sense Izuku and Shigaraki aren’t parallels. Stain and Shigaraki are parallels more than anything.
The only connection Izuku and Shigaraki is that Izuku interrupted Shigaraki from potentially killing All Might at the USJ so he hates him and sees him as a pest. They’re put at odds against each other because their goals are clashing. But it was Shigaraki’s decision to go after All Might (after probably being convinced by AFO that All Might created this “justice”) and Izuku can’t stand for that because he loves All Might.
Izuku as the Current Holder of One For All and All For One:
I feel like a lot of people forget that just because All Might is powerless to villains now, All For One is not powerless. All For One is perfectly capable of planning an escape and attacking Midoriya. What All For One wants is still unclear. He wants to groom Shigaraki to be his successor at some point but what after that? What before that? In my head, All For One is the main antagonist and Shigaraki doesn’t even hold a candle to him.
Shigaraki is just a stepping stone to get to All For One. Shigaraki isn’t the main goal. Midoriya’s main goal as the holder of One For All is to defeat and kill All For One. Do the deed that the previous holders were unable to do.
We just need to know more about what All For One wants.
There’s a visual parallelism in manga panels showing Shigaraki’s face and Midoriya’s face and with panels showing All For One and the original holder of One For All right next to each other. More than showing that these two panels are parallels I think it’s just emphasizing that right now Izuku’s main concern is Shigaraki. That’s how the story is shaped. Shigaraki right now is Izuku’s concern because Shigaraki is trying to kill All Might. And even if Shigaraki doesn’t know it right now, Shigaraki’s main concern should be Izuku because Izuku is trying to kill All For One. That’s just what the story is. Nothing less, nothing more.
So in the same way that Izuku’s main antagonist is All For One and Shigaraki is in the way; Shigaraki’s main antagonist is All Might and the justice he created while Izuku is in the way.
If All For One Really was Midoriya Hisashi:
If All For One really was Izuku’s father, Izuku would be more susceptible to the recessive gene as someone from the era of the beginning of quirks. That is true. But with that logic that could applied to anyone who is quirkless in the BNHA universe. People just push that logic onto Izuku because he’s the main character and because “there must be a connection”! Izuku could just be a quirkless kid born to parents with quirks. Remember that 80% of the world has quirks but 20% is a large number of people who are quirkless. Not all of them are related to All For One.
A flaw people try to cover up with this theory is “All For One doesn’t give Izuku a quirk for these reasons!”, because in the end Izuku doesn’t have that thing in his foot and no quirk to call his own originally. I see a lot of “giving a quirk to someone would make someone a vegetable like a Noumu so All For One doesn’t do it”. Noumus are creatures injected with far too many quirks to be considered human anymore, but the original holder for One For All is a prime example of someone who turned out relatively fine after getting his quirk. I honestly doubt giving one quirk to Izuku, especially in his later years, would make him brain dead.
I, personally, think that All For One wouldn’t give Izuku a quirk just because he is his son. All For One looks at potential and how they would benefit him in the future – he doesn’t care about blood relations. That’s shown in the way he gives the original holder of One For All a quirk despite the original holder protesting. All For One thought he was right, so he did it. That’s how his mind works.
I also see that because Hisashi is “working overseas” and because he’s hardly mentioned he probably is All For One. It’s significant that Hisashi is not there for Izuku’s checkup. Inko is worried about why Izuku isn’t getting his quirk and it seems serious enough. If Hisashi was around at this point he would be there. We don’t know if Hisashi ever comes back from working overseas because Inko nor Izuku explicitly mention him but its clear that Izuku doesn’t think much of him because he doesn’t think of him even though we see most of this world through Izuku’s eyes. If Hisashi as All For One never comes back, he wouldn’t have the chance to give Izuku a quirk. That’s true. But also maybe Hisashi is just an absent father and we really don’t need to look into it so deeply?
If we assume that All For One has an alternate persona as a regular person it can be just as easy to assume that All For One is someone else’s absent father or the person who does your taxes because he has a different identification under a different name and quirk. Just because there is someone mentioned that we have not met does not mean we can assume that it’s All For One who has multiple quirks. What does that mean about the recently mentioned Shirakumo that Aizawa and Mic used to know? The two teachers may have met All For One as Shirakumo before he and All Might fought to the death. These connections are easy to make but harder to prove.
Izuku and his Similarities to the Original Holder of One For All:
The first holder of One For All certainly shares some similarities with Midoriya but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are related. I see people who say that All For One could be Izuku’s dad because he’s really similar to All For One’s blood brother: the OG holder of One For All, but personality traits are not genetic. Midoriya has a strong sense of justice, just like the OG holder, because he watched and admired All Might as a child and found it unfair that he was quirkless when he wanted so bad to be a hero. That’s how Midoriya grew up. He wants to help everyone and give people hope. And just because Midoriya has a strong sense of justice does not mean other characters don’t. We see Ashido Mina rush in front of a villain and spout out random directions to protect her friends and other civilians while she was just a middle schooler. A lot of the students trying to become heroes have the same strong sense of justice.
Horikoshi and his Puns & References:
Izuku’s dad name could be important in a different way. We all know that Horikoshi (Hori) loves his puns and it’s true that Midoriya Hisashi’s first name is a pun on “Hisashiburi” or “it’s been a long time (since I last saw you)”. But this could just a pun for an absent father who works overseas. I also find it hard to believe that Hisashi as All For One would care enough to send money to Inko for her and their son, even if he had the money. I haven’t seen this omake about class 1-A’s parents that people reference but if I were an author who has yet to reveal a character who is important enough to name and say that he will eventually be revealed, I would not want to debut him in an omake. My debut for that character would be dramatic or maybe so unexpected that it’s just plain funny. Midoriya Hisashi is important enough to name and probably too important for an omake.
So, I don’t know a lot about Star Wars. And this is insane that this is kind of my main argument throughout all of this. I’ve seen all the movies because my dad forced me but I’m not into the fandom. I know some things but my memory is shot on a lot of things and these references. But this is something I do know. As Hori’s fans, he knows that we know that Hori loves Star Wars. He’s mimicked those movie posters and All For One is blatantly a homage to Darth Vader. But because Hori knows that we know that, Hori would not pull “the embodiment of evil’s son is the main character” on his fans. It’s too predictable and honestly anti-climactic.
So really all I have to say is that it would be boring and anti-climactic if Midoriya Hisashi is actually All For One. Horikoshi probably wouldn’t do it. Sure there are signs that fans have identified as potential clues but that is just fans connecting the dots and jumping to conclusions without actual evidence. I see it as starting from step A and skipping all the twenty four steps in-between to get to Z. I’m going to end this by quoting my friend again because this is my reaction to most All For One is Midoriya Hisashi Theories.
“Not everything has to be some sort of deep parallel or reference. That’s not how narratives work.”
