Tagged by @dearmrsawyer. Thank you, hun! It's actually been a while since someone tagged me in something like this, so let's goooo... 💖
Last song: Currently listening to "The Kiss" by Luigi Rubino (from one of my fave sweet and melancholy instrumental piano albums)
Favourite colour: Purple... but I think hot pink is really creeping in on me tbh. The more I detach it from ridiculous and arbitrary gender meanings, the more I love it. I just bought a hot pink bedspread so.
Currently reading: "Shark Heart: A Love Story" by Emily Habeck. Very slowly, because I'm a snail, but I love it. My best friend got it for her book of the month thing recently and lent it to me after she read it because after she told me about it, I was looking at her like 👁 👁 (which is to say that I was extremely intrigued adjkgjkdgd)
Currently watching: Nothing, really. I haven't been in the mood for TV in weeks, so I've just been watching ACNH island tours on YouTube while I eat lunch sometimes and that's about it lol
Sweet/savoury/spicy: Sweet or spicy depending on my mood
Relationship status: Single mom of one dog djakgjkdd
Current obsession: Six of Crows/Shadow and Bone, no contest. If it's not about the Crows (capital C), I don't care. It's been a little over a year since this hyperfixation jumped me in a back alley and you know what, I've never been happier. I've met so many cool people in this fandom, made a bunch of amazing friends, my writing and art is flourishing... so yeah, I'm gonna be living here for a lifetime.
Last thing searched: Either perfume ingredients or how to alleviate rib pain, because I fucked something up in my ribs idk dajkgjkdg
Tagging (no pressure): @finitevoid @jazzythursday @waterloou @nerdlingmerchling @sixofcrowdaydreams @wespertilionidae @tinyarmedtrex @sunfl8wer and whoever else wants to do this!

I was going through the anti Jason Todd tag because I hate myself and want to understand where people who dislike him are coming from and one thing I kept seeing was annoyance at Jason fans who claim that Jason is female coded and realized that the term “female coded” might not be the best term to describe what we mean.
A female coded character in literature and media typically means a character that has no specified gender or otherwise does not have a gender but is obviously meant to be a stand in for a woman or female. Kind of like how Starfire has no specified race (due to being an alien) but is still obviously black coded based on the way she’s drawn and treated by the narrative.
This is slightly different than what we mean when saying that Jason is female coded. It’s not that Jason is literally supposed to be a stand in for a female character, it’s that the way a lot of characters treat him and a lot of the tropes used on him are things that usually saved for female characters, not big buff men like Jason.
To start with, being Robin is narratively (or at least was) very similar to being a woman in a story. Robin is a role made to complement Batman (who we all know is basically the ultimate male power fantasy). Robin’s role is to be an accessory to Batman. Robin can be smart, but not smarter than Batman. Robin can be strong, but not stronger than Batman. Hell, Robin is often kidnapped and used as a literal damsel in distress, a role often regulated for women as a whole.
What sets Jason apart from the other robins (except for Steph) in this regard is that they were allowed to be characters outside of Batman. Dick might not have been the “man” of the story when he’s with Bruce, but when he’s with the teen titans suddenly he’s the smart one who has all the answers. Jason’s Robin was never really allowed this.
Then we get to the most, controversial, part of Jason’s female coding. The fact the he was effectively fridged. Fridging is usually only referred to as frigding if it’s a female character, but Jason’s death checks pretty much all the other boxes needed. An incredibly brutal death that was more about Bruce’s feelings on it than Jason himself.
This is especially apparent when compared to the other Bat characters. For all the female coding, the only other Robin to actually be fridged was Steph (and we all know about the misogyny surrounding her death). Barbara was also kind of fridged during the killing Joke. The only female character to escape this is Cass (to my knowledge). When you look at it through this lens, the fact that the only other characters to be permanently damaged like this for Bruce’s story are female, it’s not hard to see where the idea that Jason is female coded comes from.
You can even find this in Jason’s origin story. Poor little orphan is saved by benevolent billionaire is a role usually saved for little girls, like in Annie.
Despite what you might think, this even continues after Jason’s revival. Jason is still used less as a character and more as a motivation for Bruce. He’s regularly called emotional and hysterical (terms usually used to refer to women).
Jason is first and foremost a victim. A role performed by women in most media. Men are expected to be stoic and “rise above” the things done to them as to not be victims, as continuously shown by the way characters like Nightwing are not allowed to be effected by the horrific things they go through. The fact that Jason is shown the be angry, and sad, and emotional, constantly, and the fact that he’s punished and vilified for it puts him in a place much more similar to a female character.
There’s a reason that so many Jason fans (that like him for a reason past “antihero with guns”) are female. For most characters, when you swap their genders there would be a pretty clear and big difference in the way their story takes place. If you swap Jason’s gender, the story takes place identically.
A lot of this is best shown in men’s reactions to Arkham Knight’s version of Jason. In that game, Jason is similarly angry and emotional, albeit for slightly different reasons. He is also still unmistakably a victim. You’d think the men playing would like him. After all he’s a big cool angsty guy with a lot of guns and muscles. Instead, a lot of men’s thought that he was whiny. That his feelings were annoying.
There’s also something to be said about how his autonomy is regularly undermined by Bruce (specifically in Gotham war) and how his decisions and feeling are constantly treated as if they’re worth less than Bruce’s, but that’s a discussion for another day.

I hate to be the one to have to say this. But I guess as the one semi-prominent intersex trans woman on here. There aren't really anyone but me to say this.
but for the great majority of even intersex people, your agab still plays a huge role in how you're treated in society.
For probably upwards of 90% of intersex people, you will still be closer to male or female by a large margin.
And you will still be raised according to the gender you were assigned.
Yes some people do not fit that. I do not fit that.
But even me, whom most likely is what would be called a "true hermaphrodite" and to an extend struggle with fully seeing myself as a trans woman due to how many things I share from birth, with cis women.
Am still very much beholden to my agab, even if it is medically and physically inaccurate.
Your experience as an intersex person will vary greatly depending on what gender you were assigned. And in most cases where you don't neatly fit into a box at birth, you're forced to fit into it, with surgery.
And from then on, usually you will be treated mostly as normal. Besides often what amounts to ritualistic corrective rape.
This is of course very traumatic. I am very much not denying that. Neither am I here to argue that intersex people who have been forced through this, and are forced through this as we speak. Aren't traumatised enough to matter.
I am saying that for 90+% of intersex people, it isn't really reasonable to argue that an intersex person assigned female at birth will have the same experience as a trans woman.
Not even if you grow a beard/body hair or an enlarged clitoris.
If you do that, you are grossly simplifying what it is like to be a trans woman.
Even with intersex people in mind, actual situations where "afab trans woman" might make sense, is pretty damn rare.
They do happen, but in most cases that is still not understanding what trans womanhood is actually like. And it is STILL a byproduct of transmisogyny.
And the only reason this idea has gained any traction is because of this.
I rarely, if ever. See intersex transfems making these points.
Every time I have seen intersex transfems talking about this, it has been in frustration about how we are ignored in this conversation.
When talking about the intersection between transmisogyny and intersexism, you have to center intersex trans women.
That is very simple logic.
But we don't ever see that happening. And instead intersex transmisogynists use their intersexuality as a cudgel to deflect any criticism of their own biases.
That is how I ended up having wizardpotions turn on me like nothing, accusing me both of racism and being a creepy weirdo for the simple act of asking him why he suddenly stopped being my mutual and for claiming that TME/TMA are useful terms.
You cannot just claim that you believe that transmisogyny is a thing whilst constantly ignoring or shaming any trans woman for speaking up or explaining themselves.

"I'm aware that I'm on this mission to get my boyfriend to actually want to fuck me again but why does it feel like I've already failed on the very first step?" A whine so childish, and so petulant rips itself from the depths of your throat but Jihoon's running shower silences the pathetic noise.
While he showers, you're left sitting on the floor surrounded by a graveyard of designer lingerie. A too small Victoria's Secret set is immediately abandoned in its box, leaving you howling into the phone as you wriggle yourself into the complicated underwear.
Your confidence wanes as you adjust to the intricate bows and string of the set, wincing as you pull up the pink garter belt until it's clasped around your thighs. Soon enough, you're padding across the floor of your walk-in closet, hesitantly approaching a mirror.
"I mean, this says 'slut' but what if 'slut' isn't what he's attracted to?" Your hand curls tightly around the width of your phone, "Jihoon is an anomaly! What if I end up making a complete and utter fool of myself?" The mirror is nestled between Jihoon's clothing rack harbouring all his neatly pressed designer pieces. You let the sight of his intimidating fashion waver your already fragile confidence.
"Are you hearing yourself?" Scoffs Mingyu through your phone's speakers, "What man has ever in the history of the universe not been attracted to 'slutty'? I feel like that might be a prerequisite in terms of the origins of the word." He says in a lax, calm manner, "Woozi'll just be happy to see boobs and ass becuase that's usually how a guy's brain goes. Or how mine goes at least."
Despite Mingyu's assurances, your arms are still folded over your scantily covered breasts while you cradle your phone in the air. "I don't know," your bottom lip finds its way between your teeth. "You didn't hear him today at counseling, Mingyu. I feel like our therapist might actually hate us." You continue to cradle your torso, forcing yourself not to flinch at the memory of your earlier session of couples therapy.
How far away Jihoon had felt despite being seated right beside you, like a gleaming, stoic-faced monolith. You feel as though you have been living in nothing but a perpetual winter, forever trying to please Jihoon, your boyfriend, but always falling short in front of Woozi, the entertainer. Work, work, work, on his mind meant that you were left to entertain your own wants by your lonesome. Even more harrowig, is the excuse he had given your therapist.
"She's always in boss mode," Jihoon's tone was as cold as ice, refusing to spare you even a single glance as he faced the therapist ahead, "And that's one of things I love about her, yes. Her drive and determination makes us compatible because I know I'm the same-"
A scoff slips past your lips at that point, making Jihoon's fist clench on the arm rest as you snootily interjected, "Don't misconstrue." You said, "He works more than me," and it was the truth as far as you believed it. Yes, you would gladly admit to neglecting a few key elements of your relationship in the face of your career, but never had you ever made Jihoon feel microscopic in your pursuits. Not like how he made you feel.
"It's important to listen to each other without interjecting." The therapist calmly scolded, leaving you grumbling in your seat, "You'd be surprised at how much could truly be accomplished by simply listening to each other,"
You were truly ready to tell that old lady to go to hell but something strange happened, and Jihoon finally opened his mouth, unburdening himself with what has truly been bothering him in his relationships as of late.
"It's just," He swears lightly under his breath, which does a terrific job in garnering yout attention. You peek up from underneath your lashes and you're stunned to hear him say, "I just wish she'd understand that it wouldn't burn down the foundations of feminism if she'd just," Jihoon's jaw ticked as he displayed the very first signs of emotion, "-Just let me take that load off for a bit…"
"In what way?" The therapist asked, sensing the nearness of a eureka moment. She treaded carefully, in fear of scaring Jihoon back into his shell. Thankfully, he made himself clearer because by now, you needed to know as well.
"She's the boss in her day to day and I respect that," he says, "But all I'm saying is that it wouldn't hurt to leave all that shit at work..."
The therapist nodded with grave understanding, although even you could see the trepidation easing onto her face. There is no hiding the conflicting emotions displayed on your face.
"You're asking her to become more…" The therapist cleared their throat, "Submissive?" Jihoon had not responded after that, letting the pregnant silence act as his megaphone.
"I'm submissive," you had whispered, nodding as if trying to convince yourself of your words. "I'm like… so submissive," before you could decorate your lie with even more lies, Jihoon finally turned towards you.
"Really?" He asked, "Where?"
You let an incredulous chuckle escape from your throat as you shot back, "Where what?"
Jihoon did a show of looking around the therapist's clinical office, delving deep into his petty theatrics as he calmly, "Where are you being submissive, because it hasn't been with me?"
The session had ended with you wracking your brain at Jihoon's admittance of what you suspect to be a kink. His words haunted you on the silent drive home. They had piqued your interest considerably, filling the atmosphere with a tense warmth, as if a tempest was brewing. One that neither of you was quite aware of how to deal with yet.
It was a feeling that led you into the deepest confines of your closet, until you pulled out the Savage x Fenty lingerie box, immediately calling Mingyu in a fit of panic while Woozi was in the shower. He was, after all, your best friend way before you even knew of Lee Jihoon.
Ripping your arms away from your torso is a mission on its own, one you succeed with immense reluctance as you finally gaze at your reflection in all her half naked glory.
You commence a hesitant twirl in front of the floor to ceiling mirror.
Very hesitant.
The lace bralette is digging into your ribs, and the matching pink garters are cutting into the skin of your ample thighs. It is all so painfully uncomfortable that you're threatening to take it off, no matter how much of a wet dream you may look like.
But there is excitement there too, bubbling beneath the surface, awakened by Jihoon's confession. You are almost excited to try this with him. Submission, sexually, was never on your cards previously but maybe this is something you should have noticed long ago. You pride yourself on being observant so why didn't you notice it before?
The soft affirmations of "Say my name," while he was steadily bringing you to orgasm with his fingers alone. The unmistakable need to have his hand locked around your throat whenever he was on the verge of cumming.
Even the non sexual stuff.
Ordering for you. Making sure your hand was always locked inside his when you found yourselves wandering the city. Forcing you to pay with his card despite knowing you made more than enough to sustain your lifestyle.
How didn't you know?
Keeping a hesitant grip on your satin nightgown, you tilt your head at your reflection skeptically.
"Imagine how embarrassed I'll be if he just ignores me," The insides of your mouth is bleeding non stop from the way you've been gnawing at it, "Maybe I should just accept that work is the only love in Jihoon's life."
Mingyu's voice is diabolically soothing as it bleeds through your speakers, "No, no," he says, and you can imagine him swatting away at the air in the process "Jihoon acts like a prude but he's one of the biggest sluts- if not - the biggest slut I know."
"Besides yourself of course," you murmur,
"Besides myself of course" Eventually, Mingyu comes up with what he suspects is his big master plan.
"Perhaps you should send me a pic of you in it, that way when the little guy gets out of the shower and sees you, then you'll be far more relaxed in the knowledge that someone else has already seen you in it."
It truly was Neanderthal mathematics.
However, there is an underlying veneer in Mingyu's tone bleeding in through the phone's speakers that makes you believe your best friend is far from joking. Despite it infuriating Woozi to no end, Mingyu might never stop flirting with you ever. In respect of your dynamic.
"Surely, I shouldn't have to tell you that I'm not sending you a pic of me in my lingerie for you but I guess I have to put that into words you would understand maybe?" You hold up your fingers and clear your throat as you monotonously say, "how dare you," 'have you no shame, Mingyu," You ask, "Need I go on?"
In the midst of Mingyu's petulant whines urging you to just 'leave your man' Jihoon's shower silences, and you right your bad posture immediately. You suddenly have no idea what to do with the drawstring of the nightgown. Somehow, this seemed like the make it or break it moment. The moment where you would decide to dive headfirst into your plans of winning back your relationship despite the possibility of being met with Jihoon's hostility and coldness that you had grown so accustomed to.
The pool of dread and anxiety is deep, and your hands are nearly shaking as your fingers gloss over the lacy pink garment. "I have to go," you whisper into the receiver, vaguely aware that you've already clicked the button to sever the line before your sentence even ends. All while you awaited the footsteps from Jihoon. But they never came.
Courageously abandoning your fear for the sake of actually getting laid, you walk up to the door of your shared bathroom and knock hesitantly.
"Jihoon? Honey, are you okay?" But he is not okay, in fact, Jihoon might venture to believe he may never be okay because your voice is just so pretty, even when muffled by a closed door. His eyes are squeezed shut, and his forearm is leaning against the shower glass, and you just called him honey and fuck, if he didn't start tugging at his dick faster. He feels pathetic, having to get himself off when you were right there but the nuances and complexities of fighting with your partner introduced the need for such things.
Jihoon's jaw is locked tight as he succinctly and suspiciously responds with a rumbling and groaning "Fine."  His brows are furrowed, and his teeth locked tightly together as he fights to get off easily and succinctly.
He hopes that you would take the hostility in his voice as a sign to make yourself scarce. Jihoon already fucked up when he let the 'submissive' thing slip but he cannot bear to imagine the utter humiliation he would be subjected to if you swung that door open right now, catching masturbating in the shower, as if he did not have a girlfriend able to meet those needs… It bruises him like nothing else could. He did not want you to see him like this. He did not want you to know that even in the midst of your fights, you were the only woman he ever really thought of.
His palm skates over his soaked cock as his mind is filled images of you on your knees in front of him, head tilted back and tongue sticking out like a-
"Good little slut," It was intended as a whisper to fuel the violent pool of heat bubbling in his abdomen and make him cum quicker. A whisper that you weren't supposed to hear but your ear is on the door now and you shout back,
"Did you say anything?"
He cannot reply because his cock is aching and heavy with the weight of his fantasy. A fantasy in which you were his to hold, his to fuck, his to cum inside of until you were completely and utterly full of his load-
"Fuck-"
He rushes to squeeze the base of his dick, edging himself even though he's not quite sure why. This had been his moment to just cum all over his hands, wash off his spilt seed and be done with it, but you're knocking much more fluidly on the door, and you're becoming impatient.
"Honey, you're scaring m-," You venture to say, despite already pushing the bathroom door open. You're both left momentarily stunned by what the other is seeing in front of them. He is left paralyzed by seeing you in so little clothing… and wearing pink.
While you did not anticipate seeing Jihoon naked in the shower. Why had you not anticipated that? That’s so silly. Your mouth hangs open with the shock of his beauty perhaps.
Has it truly been that long?
In the same breath, Jihoon's lungs are wiped clean as he stares at you through the glass. His breathing is heavy, ghosting over the glass while his broad chest rises and falls. He is nothing but darkened hooded eyes. Eyes that ravage the sight of you in your lacy pink underwear, underwear that he had not seen anywhere. Where did you get that? When did you get that? Myriad thoughts swirl in Jihoon's mind, each more sinister and lustful than the last because you look so completely innocent and so soft standing by the door, arms at your side while the dressing gown hangs lazily off of your shoulders.
After a moment of silence, Jihoon decides to stop this nonsense by leaning back slightly. His long black hair still dripping down the sides of his face and his tongue skates over his bottom lip as he says,
“We should not be this surprised to see each other naked,” He says, a deep voice ringing out through the acoustics of the bathroom, “We are a couple, last I checked.”
When you do not respond, he tilts his head downward, letting an even deeper shadow cast over his eyes as he scans you from head to toe. For an innumerable amount of minutes all is quiet. It feels as though the world had been rid of noise, like you had teleported back in time, to a Charlie Chaplin motion picture. A world of absolute silence.
You begin to wonder how you might respond because surely, you cannot stand here, gawking at him for the rest of your merry life.
Before you could even think of adding to the silence with anything, anything at all, Woozi keeps his ice cold gaze on you, as he leans his head against his forearm, the one still positioned against the shower glass and he resumes his movements of languidly stroking his thick cock buried in his tight fist.
Your mouth runs dry as your eyes betray you, finally venturing down to watch him. You seem to have forgotten just how beautiful your boyfriend truly was, taking in his damp locks kissing his shoulders. He is all solid lines with a sculpted torso and you feel as  if you never even knew him at all.
"Jihoon," Your voice quivers with immense passion but he silences you immediately.
"Don't ruin this. Please don't-"
"I wanna help." His mouth snaps shut but he can feel himself twitch in his palm. Jihoon's breath grows hot as you step closer and closer and he squeezes his cock, as the overall scent of you forces its way through his nose and into his brain. You're so utterly addicting, Jihoon's hand strokes almost instinctively, his hips even venturing to push his cock into his palm as he follows your every movement.
"I want you to tell me what to do," You finally say, letting the silk gown fall to the floor as you step into the shower, lingerie and all. Jihoon's mind has completely descended into lechery while his hooded eyes watch you with nothing but adoration.
"Your knees." Is all he is able to force out, "I need you on your knees," He whispers an incredibly hoarse, "Please," that has you falling to his feet automatically. The movement immediately had Jihoon's reeling.
"Fuck," He whispers, the sound of complete awe rushing straight to your core as he finally let's all his inhibitions wilt away with the rest of his manners. Jihoon is quick to bury his fingers into your hair with a roughness you're surprised to see. Surprised but far from disappointed.
"Open your mouth," He instructs, despite already prying your mouth open with his thick fingers, forcing your teeth open as if you were his plaything all while craning your head backwards.
Once he gets your mouth open, Jihoon is insatiable. He immediately bends down and crashes his lips into yours, letting his tongue invade the inside of your mouth like his life depended on it. It's a manic, passionate and domineering kiss, neck that had you moaning into his open mouth as your tongue wrestled with his.
"I'm gonna fuck your mouth now, okay?" His tone however, lets you know that he is not asking, not really, but you nod anyway, unsure of who or what has come over you. All you're really sure of is that you want to make him feel good. The goal, the satisfaction of it is building so fantastically inside of you, pushing through your arteries, steadily soaking your panties with arousal and eliciting a slightly wayward kind of dizzying emotion inside of you all at once.
"Tell me," he says, and you're forced to crane your head back as he straightens his form. "Tell me to fuck your stupid little mouth. Tell me it's what you want." His jaw is locked tight as his hand once again encloses around his sensitive dick. He refuses to give you anything, however, unless he hears you submit to him fully and completely. He feels like he needs to hear the words. Some part deep in his monkey brain needs the confirmation from the source, as if hearing you say such nasty, horrible things would increase his already heightened arousal.
"Please, Fuck my mouth, Jihoon!" In any other instance you might have been shocked at the words flowing out of your mouth, but your cunt is absolutely dripping through the fabric and your hand immediately dives down to cup your pussy through your panties as you look up at him and say, "Please fuck my slutty little mouth, Jihoon! I fucking want you to, pleasepleaseplease-"
"Such a slut- such a pretty little slut-" you'd never heard Jihoon's voice crack the way it just did and you really wish to hear that beautiful sound again. His hand is once again in your hair while his other hand is on your jaw. He pushes a finger inside until he's flattening your tongue and craning your neck even further back. You're momentarily confused, trapped in a haze of stupid lust before Jihoon hovers above you and spits directly into your mouth.
You're moaning, and keening and Jihoon is already forcing his cock all the way inside your mouth.
"Your mouth-" His voice is hoarse as he eases his cock inside the warmth of your mouth. He cannot take his eyes off of you, his beautiful, brilliant girl taking his cock so far into your mouth while you had taken to humping your own hand like an insatiable little slut.
"Fuck baby," He murmurs, letting the tip of cock meet the very back of your throat before inching out again, "is my little girl really getting turned on from sucking cock?" His humiliation is punctuated by a sharp and powerful thrust, one that has you seeing stars and your vision blurring as you fight to keep him inside your mouth. "You don't even have to do anything," He says through gritted teeth, "I'm doing all the work fucking this tiny little mouth of yours, aren't I?" You can feel how turned on he is. He's fucking huge inside your mouth as he slides himself to and fro like his life depended on it.
"God you're so beautiful like this," He whispers, "You're so fucking beautiful taking my cock like a good little whore."
Jihoon's gaze lowers down to where your hand has taken to pushing aside your panties and rubbing swift wet circles on your clit.
"You're not gonna cum like that," He says, almost immediately stilling his frantic hips, "when you cum, it's gonna be because of me, understand?" His grip on your forearm is solid as he pulls you up from off the shower floor. You're absolutely limp in his hands, breath heavy as he brings you close to him. There is a silent, almost tender exchange, with him breathing heavily in your face while you stare wide eyed up at him.
Soon, he's spinning you around with his hands digging into your sides as he presses your front against the fogged up glass. Letting your tits push against the cool, wet surfaces, he draws your hips to his.
Before he sinks his cock into you, a very strange thing happens. Soft pillowy lips brush against your shoulder blade, eliciting a sharp gasp from you.
"Thank you," He whispers before sinking his cock into you with determination. He bottoms out faster than you anticipate, all while you've taken to moaning and whimpering like a mad woman. Your sounds egg him on, until he's rutting his twitching cock inside of you, desperately searching for the alleviation of a budding and aching need inside him.
"You feel so fucking good, you know that?" You hear him behind you. Feel him behind you. Your walls stretch and contract around his cock who continues to bully your insides.
"F-Fuck, Jihoona-"
"Fuck, you're squeezing me, Princess," Your orgasm sneaks up on you pile the devil himself, stripping you of your dignity as you push your hips backwards, almost instinctively forcing his cock deeper as you fucked yourself back onto him. Jihoon's mind is absolutely deranged with lust. He sinks his nails into the softness of your sides and he pulls your hips impossibly closer. He fucks you like a madman, his cock is fluid and quick, pushing against that particular cushion of nerves that has your orgasm feeling like an absolute lifetime. Your panties that had been carelessly pushed aside creates a second later of friction that has him so dangerously close to the edge.
"I'm going to cum inside you." He states while never letting himself stop fucking you, "Fuck- I'm going to cum inside you-" It's the hardest you've ever seen him cum before. His hair is messy and a darker shade under the wetness of the shower, his eyes are hooded and glossy and his body is shuddering against you, overcome by a wave of vicious shocks as he stutters and empties his balls deep inside of you. His cock is forced deeper than it's ever been and you're made completely full of his load. Jihoon is utterly spent as he lowers his weight onto your back. Letting a sea of kisses reign down on your back as your heavy breathing fills the warm and damp air.
"You look so fucking beautiful," He says, never letting his pecks against your back stop, "so fucking gorgeous." That seems like apology enough, on both parts.

♡ Dating Hobie Brown Headcanons
Tumblr media
❝ I'm not a role model, I was briefly a runway model. I hate the AM, I hate the PM, I hate labels, I'm not a hero, because calling yourself a hero makes you a self-mythologizing narcissistic autocrat.❝
[ SFW + No Gendered Terms]
A/N: I can't believe it took me so long to get around to this man since he's broken me since the movie released. Will be clawing at the doors of the studio for more Hobie screentime. Also, sorry it’s been a bit since the last headcanon list. Classes and shit :(
Tumblr media
✖ Off the bat, I'm sorry to say but Hobie would not consider what you two do as "dating". He doesn't like labels and being called someone's partner is too constricting of a box.
✖ Now that doesn't mean he isn't loyal. He's actually extremely loyal. The moment he is attracted to someone, everyone else fades away from his vision and it's just you.
✖ The only time he'd label the two of you as "partners" was if someone else showed interest in you. If someone casually asked, then no, you two are just hanging out. But if that person was interested in you, Hobie is like:
✖ "Actually, bruv, sorry to say but they're already with me. So, unfortunately, your eyes need to look elsewhere, yeah?"
✖ Pavitr is the equivalent of your pseudo-child/third-wheel. You two pay for his food, give him advice on him and Gayatri, and have him backseat on drives.
✖ Hobie is more of a listener than a talker. He likes to hear about your fixations and interests. His eyes stare at you with a small grin when he hears the moment you become totally excited in talking about your interests.
✖ And it doesn't matter what you're interested in, Hobie learns about it in his own time so he knows what you're talking about with more of an understanding.
✖ While Hobie may seem to not be paying attention sometimes, he actually had quite a good memory and simply pretends to forget when it comes to other people or if it's one of Miguel's orders.
✖ But with you, every word is ingrained into his memory and you'd be surprised that things you told him a long time ago are still present in his mind if something reminds him of it.
✖ He’ll be more than happy to lend some of his things to you! So long as he can do the same with you. If it’s clothing or something, he has specific pieces that are dedicated to himself so he won’t let them be taken from him. If you’re insistent though, he’ll simply make another one for you (with some design choices specifically attuned to you)!
✖ Hobie is very chill when it comes to his partner. He’s not an overly jealous type nor an overprotective one. He has full trust in you to make your own decisions.
✖ Absolutely acts as though his interests are commonplace and fakes surprise when you say you haven’t been exposed to that thing before.
✖ “You wot? Whadja mean you ain’t ever heard of (insert obscure indie film with a $1k budget)? It’s a classic, love, trust. You’ll love it.” It was in fact not one you loved and it was in 144p on a pirated site.
✖ Sometimes Hobie will scare the shit out of you by popping up out of nowhere. You’ll just go to the kitchen to get a snack, come back to your bedroom and Hobie is just chilling at your desk even though he wasn’t there two minutes ago.
✖ Because of his calm nature, he’s actually really good at comfort. If you feel overwhelmed or panicked, Hobie sets you down and calmly grounds you back to reality.
✖ He offers his hands, gently rubbing his thumbs on the back of your hands, and speaks in a calm voice. Once you’ve calmed, he’ll have a sweet smile.
✖ “Welcome back, love… C’mere. You’re alright. M’right here, love.”
✖ Hobie's main Love Languages to give are: Gift Giving and Physical Touch.
✖ Hobie loves to make gifts for you especially if you show interest in his style or anything he owns!
✖ He tends to be possessive over his own things so he'll make you a copy or your own version! Even if it's something time-consuming like making your own version of a vest or garbage pants, he loves spending time to do it if he gets to see the look on your face because of it.
✖ Because he has a massive collection of pins, patches, etc. he'll often hand some to you if he thinks you'll like them.
✖ Hobie's one indication of a "public claim" on you would be a gifted necklace that his guitar pick. On the back, he signed it as "H♡ ".
✖ This man is sly with physical touch. It's purposeful in a way to have you blushing and stuttering.
✖ He especially does it if you are in conversation with someone else just to watch you squirm. Something as simple as passing his hand at the small of your back just to see you fight back a blush or smile has him on cloud nine since he's the only one who can do that to you.
✖ Hobie also loves to rest his chin on top of your head. He'll do it anytime you two are standing around and he just wants to be closer to you.
✖ Hobie's favorite Love Languages to receive are: Quality Time and Words of Affirmation.
✖ There's nothing sweeter to Hobie than seeing his SO go out of their way to make time for him. He may tease about it. Something along the lines of: "Couldn't get enough a' me, hm?" but he really is so honored that you'd want to spend time with him.
✖ He can sometimes disappear at random when he’s on his duty. Coming back to see you in his room has him tearing off his suit and just holding onto you. There’s nothing more comforting than a simple relaxing time in bed with you with low lighting and music playing.
✖ Hobie is an intelligent musician. Words mean everything and the way they are strung together mean more.
✖ You can swear that you’ve never seen Hobie get flustered but Hobie knows how his heart melts at your words.
✖ His favorites are when you give him letters or send songs. He’ll read the letters over and over and read into the lyrics of the song continually.
✖He also loves hearing you compliment him as it gives him reason to turn up his own charm in response.

When/how do you think Kon started like exploring his gender? Did having to change his look to fit in at smallville have smth to do with it?
you just walked into my askbox and went "i'm gonna activate tumblr user mamawasatesttube's trap card!" i hope you know this.
so YES, firstly. i do believe changing his look to fit in with everyone in smallville had something to do with it, BUT. it's not just a case of "oh small town = conservatism, homophobia, transphobia, etc". it has more to do with him having a civilian persona for the first time in his lifie, and not knowing how to do that. through all of his time in sb94, he's never really fit in with "normal people" - he was always held apart from his classmates in hawaii, then he simply never interacted with regular people while living at cadmus, and finally when he lived in metropolis in the suicide slum it was. well. not good.
so moving to smallville and having a secret identity to protect - not just his own but superman's secret identity - is a lot of pressure to perform a role he's never played before. it's not even so much about small town attitudes so much as it is just the contrast of what he's used to and the concept of "normalcy". superboy, the clone of superman who's a hero and a celebrity, has never had to worry about being normal and not drawing too much attention. conner kent, on the other hand, has to worry about that very much.
he takes out his earring. he cuts off the longer parts of his hair and lets the shaved part grow back in. he grows keenly self-conscious of being a "geek" and making too many references to this or that media. for the first time, he starts paying consistent attention to what other people think of him and how they talk about him. it's not the same as his identity crisis before, when he just was worried about being "cool" and got a makeover about it; this is about something bigger than him, something so much more important than just his reputation. he has to keep this secret. it's not freedom, at first; it's a burden he's trying to learn to carry.
that's part of why he resents smallville at first. it's a whole new set of rules and restrictions and boxes he needs to fit into. and he's used to rules and restrictions and fitting into boxes, but these ones are nothing like the ones he knew before, and the stakes feel so much higher. he misses his "freedom" from before, so he hates "conner kent" and what smallville represents.
at this point, he doesn't really know that his gender and sexuality are involved in this repression. he just knows the way he dressed before and the way he acted before get attention in a way he doesn't want now, and he assumes any feelings of ickiness and missing anything are just tied to his whole resentment of smallville. it doesn't click for a long time. he just straight up doesn't clock that he has any gender-related feelings outside the norm, and he doesn't register any of his attraction to guys as attraction. he's deeply in his "overinvested straight ally" phase (think of his interactions with hero cruz - defending him from sparx and telling her homophobia is Not Cool!!).
and then he dies.
to establish a core part of my feelings about smallville... as someone who grew up queer in small town america, i am Deeply critical of everyone who dismisses rural areas as entirely conservative, intolerant, and bigoted. these people definitely do exist in rural areas, sure, but they are by no means the only ones (and they also very much exist in urban areas, too). to that end, i don't think smallville is just a ~homophobic little town~ where kon is miserable in the closet because of external pressure.
i do think kon does languish miserably in the closet for a time. but it's a lot of internal pressure and identity issues at play, not just the worry of homophobia. he spends a lot of time introspecting after his resurrection, learning to love his life with ma; it's during this time that i think he starts to actually realize his feelings about himself are queer feelings.
one of my personal favorite headcanons is that the first person he ever admits any of this to (first that he thinks he's into guys, bc that's the first one that he actually puts together) is hero cruz. hero is definitely the friend who's been out the longest, and very possibly (though ofc this can depend on personal hcs!) his only friend who's out at this time, given that he and cassie Just broke up.
now a major reason he struggles in the closet here is the idea that being queer as conner kent would mean deviating from the "normal" as conner kent. and conner kent is supposed to be a very normal guy, to fit in and fade into the background, to not draw attention. and that's his major hangup. it's easier to consider if superboy could come out than for conner kent to come out, because superboy has never been normal. he's always been set apart. but conner kent? conner kent has a vital secret to keep. he doesn't want anyone looking at him.
he finds it harder to accept queerness as a civilian than as a hero bc as a hero he's already "weird" and "alien" (literally), right. he can be loud and proud and obnoxious there and it doesnt matter! but conner kent is supposed to be ~normal~ and not like kon-el. conner kent is keenly aware of everything that makes him not fit in, and for a long time those things bring him uncertainty and shame because he is still struggling to try and figure out how even being a civilian works, let alone living a civilian life that's """abnormal""". it takes him a hot minute to work through this.
and then senior year, there's rumors going through smallville high because this one guy wanted to bring his boyfriend to prom but the school prom committee head teacher wouldn't sell a couple's ticket to two boys who are known to be dating despite selling them to plenty of girls who say they're just going as friends, and now a bunch of students are protesting by getting same sex couple's tickets and insisting on going actually as couples, and of course kon has to join in on that, he will always stand up against injustice even as a civilian...
...and one thing leads to another, and conner kent finds himself making out with simon valentine in the back corner of the dance hall, and they crown him prom king despite it (or maybe because of it!) and he's stunned because he didn't know he was popular (because he's kind, and loved, and funny, and good) and he's still popular despite clearly being into men now, and it's not a bad thing in everyone else's eyes, and oh? that was allowed all along?
and it's freeing.
that's the first step to exploring gender. first he has to let himself admit to being queer at all, and admit to being okay with it rather than needing to repress it forever, and it's kon. of course that only happens once he can use "helping someone else" as the reason.
NOW back up a large step. there's a second component to all this i haven't dug into yet, and it's about fashion.
more to the point, it's about ttk. one of my Favorite hcs is that he practices it via fibercrafts, even before his death but especially after. first crochet, then knitting, then bobbin lace, slowly increasing the number of moving parts he's working with; he ends up making a lot of lace.
ma uses some of his little lace scraps as bookmarks. he makes a bunch of doilies and then table runners. it's genuinely great ttk practice, but really, they have a lot of lace. so kon starts learning to sew, so he can start making lace-embellished tablecloths and then some simple circle skirts and things for ma. they sell some of them at local farmers'/crafters' markets.
and kon starts wearing some of it himself. at first he's really self-conscious, but... it's something he made, and he's proud of it, and it does look really good, so. fuck it. he and ma can go to do groceries wearing matching skirts, right? (circle skirts are easier to sew than pants, okay. pants have so much more going on. he's still teaching himself, okay!!!)
it takes him a LONG minute to realize that maybe some of the "oh, i do look good in this!" feelings might, in fact, be gender euphoria. as in, he doesn't realize it until after he starts unpacking his sexuality feelings and going ohhhh. conner kent is actually allowed to be queer and that's okay. only then does he realize that uhm... maybe conner kent is, like, extra queer. like, turn up the dial and add more spice.
with time, support and encouragement from friends and family, and some exploration, he gains more confidence in exploring presentation and actually thinking about gender. he doesn't really care that much about pronouns, but he Does hate being confined to traditional masculinity - he does enjoy being masc sometimes, but he hates the idea of having to fit in it as a box. he's much happier getting to flit around from masc to femme to all sorts of places in between. he finds it freeing.
okay i have rambled so much. this is more or less my idea for how the overall arc of kon exploring queerness goes, but im sure ive forgotten bits and pieces and will remember them within like 5 minutes of hitting post. but here we are here it is ive been typing on and off for like an hour now so im cutting myself off. there it is. my kon gender and sexuality thesis.
oh one other thing. also he loves to be young justice's babygirl. okay im done now

A Short Guide To Writing Gay Trans Men
So a few disclaimers before I start:
I'm not going to talk about anything sex-related here because 1) people have made other guides and google is your friend & 2) I'm not very comfortable with it.
I am just one person, and due to the fact that I am white and thin and perisex, I will definitely have blind spots. If you want more information about intersections that don't apply to me, ask someone who it does apply to!
I did get lots of messages from trans guys giving me advice on this, but nonetheless I do not speak for absolutely everyone.
There will be very little info here on how to accurately write medical transitions because that's not something I've experienced. Google is your best friend on this one.
This is not a complete post. I will keep adding to it as time goes on. If you're seeing this post reblogged by someone else, click on the original to see if I've made any additions or corrections before you send me that anon hate and/or comment telling me to kill myself.
What Not To Do
When there is a trans male character written by a cis person, especially a cis man, there's a very solid chance that he is going to check off at least 9 of the following boxes:
Thin
White
Able-bodied
Neurotypical or LSN neurodivergent
Binary
No nuance given to his identity and expression
Sexuality not specified or elaborated on
A cis person's love interest
2 dimensional transmasc stereotype
Usually small and feminine, but not actually femme
Gay transmasc characters written by cis people are very difficult to find because cis authors will often not specify the sexuality of the trans man dating a cis man or elaborate on his connection to the MLM community. This is because many cis authors believe that writing a gay trans man is just writing a woman but switching one of the genders. This is, of course, not true, and there must be more care taken to provide nuance and create a more accurate (and non-dysphoria-inducing) representation.
Moving Past The White Twink Stereotype
This is one of the most basic bars to clear for a cis person writing a gay trans man, and yet so many continue to fail at this very simple task. Ask yourself: is your gay transmasc character a white, hairless, thin person? If the answer is yes, that's not inherently a bad thing, though it may be good to reflect on why you want to create a character like this if this is the only type of transmasc representation you write.
The biggest thing you need to do here is to give him a set of defining traits. Not physical traits, not even gender expression traits. Just personality. What kind of person is he? How does he cope with the transphobia in this world (unless you're writing a fantasy universe without transphobia)? How does he act towards strangers? How does he approach people of different genders? What is his outlook on cis people? Once you have the basics, it's time to think about his physical appearance & expression and how that has impacted his life and his personality.
You also want to avoid the trope where a gay trans man's personality is undeveloped and he is treated as an object for cis men to help them advance their character arcs. It's fine for trans men to serve a purpose like that in the story, but they need to be their own individual humans.
Writing Sexuality
If your trans male characters date men, and I cannot reiterate this enough, make them be open about their homosexuality or bisexuality. Give them a sexual orientation and make them be proud of it. Of course, not every gay trans man is going to identify heavily with a masc/fem role in gay male relationships, but you should seriously consider whether or not your character would.
Additionally, don't follow the flawed line of logic of "trans man -> vagina -> bottom -> fem/femme." It's fine to make your gay trans male characters fem but please, I swear to god please give them a good reason for being so. If you do make your character femme, be very cautious to use language that doesn't trigger actual trans men's dysphoria. Don't constantly point out the character's physical features that may be associated with femininity unless you're making a point either about his dysphoria or about how society treats him or maybe about how he comes to accept his body. However, please be extremely careful with the last one as this trope has been used in so many transphobic portrayals.
Have your gay trans male character exist in gay spaces with other gay men (both cis and trans). Have him be open about being a gay man specifically. Give him cis gay male friends. Give him trans gay male friends. Don't allow your reader to ignore the fact that he is very much a gay man.
Dysphoria
For the love of all things good, please do not write your gay trans male character's dysphoria as "from the day I was born, I knew I was born in the wrong body. I have had no internalized shame or guilting into making me doubt my transness, and it was obvious that I was not a woman." That's not how anyone's dysphoria works, even if they did know from a young age that they were born in the wrong body.
For gay trans men specifically, most of us end up realizing we're trans around either age 12 or age 20. This doesn't mean he has to be exactly that age, but that's generally the safest age to have your character's egg crack. Of course, you can sprinkle in signs that he's trans since he was a young child, but I know a lot of gay trans men and I have yet to meet one who has known since birth and has had no doubt in his mind about it. However you can and should write older gay trans men, even some who find out they're trans in their 40s or older. Representation of older trans people is seriously lacking compared to how many there are.
Don't make your character the stereotype of a straight trans man who doesn't face the specific intersection of being trans and gay. Facing this intersection does affect something even as personal as dysphoria. Many of us will have self-doubt, believe that we're disgusting fetishists of gay men, or simply exist as women in gay spaces for a time. You also have to take into account gay beauty standards & your character's upbringing to figure out what they're likely to be most dysphoric about.
hi :3
That's it for now. I'll keep adding to this post as I get feedback and suggestions. If you want more advice, feel free to send me an ask. When I get enough asks about things, I'll make an FAQ post answering some of them.

Ok so hear me out: forcedfem Lawlight but with Misa cosplay
L steals some of Misa’s clothes and makeup from her room and makes Light wear it, and pins him to the bed in one of Misa’s short black dresses that barely makes shirt length on Light and the lacy stockings Misa wears when she’s trying to catch Light’s attention, and tries to give him smokey eyeshadow and lipstick like the makeup lesbians meme (he doesn’t know how to do makeup but Misa has showed him some tutorials so it’s not. Terrible). Light doesn’t really look like a girl- L isn’t a good enough makeup artist for that, and he’s a bit underweight but not that thin and Misa’s clothes are stretched into awkward shapes on him and ruined- but he does look pretty, L thinks.
Light, on the other hand, absolutely loathes this entire thing and is trying to bite off L’s fingers the whole time, because being treated like a girl is bad enough but being treated like Misa Amane genuinely makes him sick to the stomach. It’s another level of humiliaton to be perceived as someone he kind of hates, who is gullible and impulsive and fickle and horribly obsessed, and worst of all objectified and used by other people as a prop. It makes subbing feel less sexy and more filthy and weak and demeaning than normal, because god, there’s nothing Light hates more during sex with L than thinking of Misa. He’s tied up under the clothes because there’s no way L could put them on otherwise, but he is doing his best to hiss and spit and be difficult and unattractive. The degradation of being forced into the role of your own worshipper to please someone else.
L is not thinking of any of these implications, he just thinks Misa looks hot and Light also looks hot so this is a double win. Who doesn’t want to dom goth girl Light Yagami in shibari, like damn. Sometimes you just need to think less with your head and more with your dick, Light.
Also Misa demands an explanation for why her things are missing after this, and L shows her a photo which he took as a consolation prize for ruining her clothes and she just gets unbelievably jealous because Light never lets her put makeup on him, this is so unfair, Ryuzaki didn’t even do a good job dammit, and why did he have to rip off her best stockings?? Misa does eventually get to put makeup on L though because the next time he has sex with Light he pegs him while wearing Misa cosplay instead (Light hates this even more actually, and Misa is also furious when she finds out what the makeup was for).
I actually don't like the details I wrote for this, but I am so. obsessed with the general concept of Misa cosplay during sex as a tool to annoy Light, so I hope you can come up with something better than me if you like the idea ldfgjknnjkdfg
it is time to free this ask from my ask box. pats it fondly.
mate i hope you know reading this feels like reading fanfic that is specifically tailored to my obscene genderfuck kink. your brain. i want to give it a lot of pats and possibly a kiss. you deadass never miss.
Light doesn’t really look like a girl- L isn’t a good enough makeup artist for that, and he’s a bit underweight but not that thin and Misa’s clothes are stretched into awkward shapes on him and ruined- but he does look pretty, L thinks.
i need to take. very deep breaths. every time i read this. oh my god. crying. he doesn't look like a girl and the clothes don't fit right (misa is noticeably a size down from him) but he looks pretty. light yagami is made of all these angles and lines but there's a sweet roundness to his face and in the clothes...in the clothes...L can see a sketch of what light could be, if he bought clothes that fit light better, if he tailored them properly, and it makes him so hard he gets dizzy. the dissonance of this extremely cis man in the clothes of a feminine girl is just. extremely horny. severely even.
head in hands. i love how you described light here. how he hates it. how it burns. artificially induced gender dysphoria plus the dysphoria of his personality/image being just so wrong in these clothes. stretching his brain into knots. impossible to even get horny until L yanks him dickfirst into subspace because light if you can eroticize this version of you-that-is-not-you you can do anything, okay.
i'm laughing at misa being like BITCH. HE DOESN'T LET ME DO THAT. because frankly as a makeup enjoyer there is no greater joy than putting makeup on my boyfriend and misa would feel similarly, i think. misa would be very mad about L wearing her clothes. (misa voice) at least light is pretty in them!! L looks like he got lost in a shopping mall !!
i'm genuinely rotating this in my brain at fucking light speed. filing it away in my folder of drabbles to write on a rainy day, forcefem-san, because truly. it is such a good image. god. fuck. light in garters. light in garters and sheer tights and a skirt rucked up to his hips and a sullen expression on his face with his lipstick smeared and his eyeliner running ohhgngfhghgnhgn. fuck. i am so horny about this. i have been very horny about this. there is also opportunity for crossdressing light wearing misa's killer heels and doing dickstepping which. hngh.d fuckc. i may be a bottom light truther but i think powerbottoms should be allowed to dickstep. ogh. fuck
light in a skirt. light in kitty cat thigh highs. light with bows and a chain belt and a thong pulled high on his hips and panties light yagami in panties i'm going to lose my entire mind. L buys him panties instead of stealing misa's (thank god) but. lacy red and black underwear keeping his cock held tightly to his lower abdomen. light yagami with a bralette stretched over his chest. light yagami in miles of black lace and jingling metal jewelry and that furious tsundere look on his face as L eats him out and asks him if he likes having L's mouth on his pussy. yes. anyway. hngh

bts as musicals
simply put, bts as staged musicals i'm familiar with. a very random list and post i wrote up at 3am. it's not to be taken too seriously of course, and this is just my sleep-deprived opinion and take
namjoon - hamilton
i feel this is self explanatory for anyone familiar with both hamilton and nj
hamilton, entirely self written about a self-made man with the weight of the world on his shoulders who needed to prove himself, all while being completely in homage to rap legends through and through
HELLO????
hamilton is also a musical very centered around loss and i can really see that in joon
loss, rap, and the eternal internal struggle!!!
he'd have so much fun with it but it'd wreck him
satisfied especially
also i hate to make this point but when it comes to the hate that these two receive, sometimes it’s clear that it’s really forced hatred
seokjin - hairspray
the ladies choice amiright ladies?
obviously there’s link, the very attractive man who everyone wants
who is hopelessly in love with a plus sized beauty <3333 so jin
jin has often expressed his love of being “unserious” and we all know he can be like that mostly on camera, but he definitely has that more serious side that really is the basis for his character
isn’t that vaguely reminiscent of hairspray too though?
we often think of it as this unserious musical but it actually has more layers than one might remember, discussing prejudice, body image, individuality, self-image, integrity
i think all of those things matter a whole lot to seokjin
yoongi - les miserables
fuck the system
really, all about rebellion and revolution
but also let me break your heart a little
and let me make you remember that you’re actually living life
very similar themes across both yoongi’s solo work and les mis - injustice, class, tragedy, loss, to name a few. while also being so sympathetic towards its varied characters, reminiscent of yoongi’s sensitivity and mindset
shit think of how yoongi might react to 'i dreamed a dream'
hoseok - wicked
I think jack in the box just solidifies this as my pick for hoseok tbh
because there’s the childlike wonder side we all see and know (wizard of oz, j-hope of bts)
but then everything that surrounds it and the real story behind it (wicked, jitb)
both wicked and jitb offer a look into a “character” we think we’re familiar with, but it turns out we really aren’t
when we finally see them tell their story in their own words
elphaba struggles with her “role” and so does hobi, literally spelling it out for us in jitb
they both feel trapped, and thus reclaim and reinvent themselves
It’s a very identity-focused musical/album that still links back to prejudice in our world, too and "where they fit in"
jimin - chicago
sex
chicago is a look into fame/celebrity and corruption and ambition, and i think jimin has quite strong values when it comes to that
to me, it seems as though he finds those topics very interesting to think about
and also, how that all intersects with sexuality and gender
it feels like the crux of what chicago is as a musical but also who jimin presents himself to be
taehyung - west side story
i wanted something that’s a bit of a more classic musical for taehyung, and out of the ones i am familiar with, wss seemed the most fitting (tho i have a sneaky suspicion that one of the ones i am *not* familiar with might be more him)
taehyung is a romantic and, like nj, he almost romanticizes his losses and spends time looking back and reflecting on his own relationships and even his relationship with 'love' as a whole - layover proves it
so of course wss makes sense, the dance numbers, the longing, the risk of it all, the fact that it's story about "the power of love"
i think it'd leave quite the impact on tae, if he hasn't seen it yet
despite being a retelling of romeo & juliet (which tae would LOVE) wss also set the precedent for many musicals to come, much like tae did. looking back, it was very innovative for its time in so many different ways
musically, it's very taehyung. i could see him wanting to do covers of the songs. maria, tonight, and something's coming (he'd always go back to this song)
in every iteration of it, it's also very cinematic and very personal at the same time, which means it is very taehyung
jungkook - grease
I didn’t WANT to pick grease and feed into that stereotypical ‘bad boy jk’ idea
but like i can’t not
and it’s not so much that it is representative of who jk is as a person
except aesthetically (the dazed cover is proof)
but that i can see jungkook himself enjoying the musical numbers and poking fun at john travolta, imitating him in his dance moves
i think he’ll particularly enjoy “you’re the one that i want” and might develop some sort of ‘corruption’ fantasy of turning a good girl bad
this might be me projecting that i want jk to do to me shhhhhhh
oh and he will go through a phase of calling his car “grease lightning” and sing the song every damn time he gets in it
yeah it'd be hard as fuck to get jk to get rid of his john travolta impression

I'm really sorry that happened to you. People are so fucking shameless these days it's actually ridiculous.
I just saw their statement (there were 2) about the issue and it was just absolute fucking bs. I know you've made a mistake about their gender, but it's so funny that it's the first thing that they brought up rather than the fact that they literally copied your story.
It's also funny how they didn't even mention you to clarify who was "accusing" them of plagiarism, how their ask box is closed, how they go through comments first in AO3 before accepting them to be posted (although I know this one was before you found out). Like, if they're really guilty of all charges, then why not open those fucking things and clarify the shit that needs to be clarified if they're really as innocent as they claim, not HIDE away from the harsh truth LMAO.
Used to be a fan of them. Had to unfollow because I hate that I might be supporting their other fics which they just copied. It just pisses me off too. I'm really sorry this happened to you, Miss T. Sorry for the cursing too. But just know that we understand you and that your feelings on this matter are totally valid. Breathe in, breathe out. You have us. I hope you will feel better. We love you! 💜💕
The victim role is something they've perfected too well I'm afraid. And I even apologized directly for misgendering them. (Since they spammed my inbox and the first thing that got brought up was their gender too.)
Being a trans person DOES NOT excuse you for being a thief and a liar. And the fact they're focusing on it instead of admitting their mistakes, shows enough of the poor character to face consequences, inmaturity and insincerity on their behalf. I heavily dislike people that put their gender as an excuse to do awful things, in hopes it gains some sort of sympathy or minimizes the damages done to others.
They told me they had closed the comment sections because they received hateful comments about being trans. (I never knew they were trans until they brought it up btw.) And the comment I left on the fanfic calling them out, was deleted. (Of course, cause God forbid other people find out you're a thief!)
I really thought they were brave for reaching out at first, unlike the two other thieves I got before. But, to my little to no surprise they've not only turned cynic (I mean, they STILL have the courage to deny the plagiarism in the comment they've left on the A03 evidence post)
Besides, they attacking the story but also shamelessly copying it, it's a joke in itself. So... Don't worry. Karma gets people eventually. I've got nothing to hide, the proofs are out. Too bad they can say the same and only make themselves look worst.
Also, kinda makes me think and fear as to what else they've copied from my story. Or other works.
Thanks for your support dear! <3

Different anon, but I think it depends on the case. Some people really feel the need the assign feminine and masculine roles to them, who is the husband, wife, mother, father etc and I do think that's problematic. I also see some people calling their relationship patriarchal and I still don't get the thought process? But calling characters mother or babygirl, for example, those are technically feminine terms, but people use it in a neutral way and as a meme. It doesn't necessarily mean treating them as women. Also, gender is a spectrum and it doesn't always match people's ideas of how someone looks, dresses, behaves etc. I think vampires are all above these stereotypes, they live forever, gender roles change over time and they'll embrace and reject some of it based on how they feel. They'll never fully reproduce entirely masculine/feminine traits, but it will vary according to the moment. And maybe some would indeed identify as trans, something under the non-binary umbrella or just overall refuse labels. I see Lestat as an androgynous man, or an androgynous person, I don't see him as someone who really cares about labels, I think he just is. But he would probably admit he's mostly masc-aligned and yet has some strong feminine interests/traits too? Anyway, people has different takes on it, including queer people. I believe it's okay if people make HCs to feel better, because representation sucks, so if that warms their heart in a way, be it. I'm gender-fluid and personally don't think it makes a difference unless the character is really coded that way (like, apparently Gabrielle is, but they don't use any labels?), and I see Lestat mostly as an androgynous/gender nonconforming/fluid/fuck the rules I'll do what I want and I love defying the norms kind of dude, but a woman is unrealistic to me. But we know HCs aren't actual canon either, I guess. /lh /nm
Headcanons are totally fine and valid, and it is also just natural that we being our own experiences to the cases, and that we want to see ourselves reflected, too.
I just find the need for shoving them into boxes and then hating on whoever doesn’t align with those boxes a bit ludicrous.
In any case I have the feeling that Gabrielle will be a whole different kind of discourse 😩

Since you mentioned gender dysphoria to that other anon; I've lately actually been thinking about it, and while I'm no expert, it seems to me that it's not real diagnosis per se. What I mean is that those that suffer from it actually have body dysmorphia but since gender and gender roles are so prevelant in our society, those that experience such hate and discomfort with their body, plus they hate the boxes society puts us in based on our sex, they interpret that the only solution is to transition; am I making sense? Dunno how else to put it, but bottom line is that quite frankly I don't really believe in gender dysphoria as any way different to body dysmorphia. There's also the fact that the pharma world plus plastic surgeons make big money on 'gender affirming', so of course that diagnosis exists. And another thing is, how only 10 years ago body dysmorphia was far more prevelant but now it's barely diagnosed, and instead it's gender dysphoria. So yeah...
Exactly ! Plus to be honest the DSM makes every human emotion a disorder. Being unhappy with the burden of social expectations that falls on your back the second you reach puberty is *normal*. Every girl goes through it in different ways.
Body dysmorphia is also largely linked to social expectations. Just look at how thin you were supposed to be in the 2000s and you’ll get why so many girls were dysmorphic and anorexic at that time (with already many becoming anorexic after spending hours on blogs romanticizing anorexia!). Now we’re telling young people that it’s possible to be in the « wrong » body !

Hm.
Nanami and Juri are girl princes. Maybe Kozoue too... Shiroi maybe?
Saionji and Miki are boy princesses.
more complicated than this imho but thats just because im weird and transsexual. i have rambled underneath about my feelings about boy-princess- and girl-prince-isms, and the general bullshit of ohtori’s rigid categorisation because it’s something that compels me to no end.
juri is a girl prince but everyone forgets that she's a girl until she actually tries to act like a boy, and then they punish her for it. nanami is like a calf-shaped prince. ive said this before, but it's genuinely how i feel. she's not a girl, she's a farm animal (to ohtori; and admittedly, there isn't much difference in ohtori, but it's explicitly said about nanami when it isnt for other girls).
now. ive never really got the 'miki is a boy princess' thing because like.... sure miki is a 13 year old androgynous little boy with short hair and he doesnt exactly ooze masculinity in everyones eyes but um. two things. one is that he actually commands more respect than saionji as a male and therefore princely figure (saionji isnt princely whatsoever and never tries to be bc his ideas about masculinity are in contradiction with akio's all-american bullshit) and the other is that he is, hilariously in my opinion, the only character other than akio shown to drive the car in the series. like, it's a dream sequence/projector illusion (?) but the fact that we see miki in the driver's seat, hands on the wheel, is kind of a huge deal for the show where they loveeeeeee to refuse to show you stuff that destabilises ohtori's artifice. miki has a very conventional and straightforward desire to be a prince to anthy (you know, if you ignore everything with kozue; but arguably his displacement and warping of his feelings in that way is typically ohtori) and he could totally pull that off imho. he's just a little too young for the moment, and unwilling to manipulate and coerce others like, say, touga is. this isn't to say there's no gender fuckery going on with miki because there 100% is, as there is with all rgu characters, i just wouldnt describe him as a boy princess.
anyway <3 kozue deffo has princely qualities but i would probably box hers in with anthy's. they are both princes repackaged as witches because their genders destabilise the ideal of the prince and its artifice. this is something that happens to all of ohtori's little sisters, because they demonstrate utmostly princeliness towards their brothers, but nanami gets special calf-shaped prince privileges because i have kiryuu sibling brain worms. anthy and kozue are very conscious of their witchification as they are conscious of their sexuality, and how that impacts their relationships with their brothers. nanami is not.
shiori is also an interesting case because she and ruka are. well. theyre just fucking bonkers arent they. everything they say about each other is also equally applicable to themselves. i think that out of our three roles (prince, princess, witch/rose bride), some combination of witch and princess seems most fitting? like shiori is 100% a witch, and ruka was the perfect prince until he got sock-puppeted by akio in such a way that. well ruka's complicated and frankly i dont have time to get into it right now (know, however, that i hate his reanimated guts). shiori wants to be a princess and she wants to be pursued hopelessly but in having that desire, she is a witch. there is perhaps a perverse princeliness to her desire, but id argue that that's just what being a witch is. slayyyyyyy
now in regards to saionji. he's a boy princess but also it's complicated. saionji doesnt want to be a prince and saionji doesnt have any interest in princehood because, fundamentally, he doesnt care for it. princehood is built upon these americanised ideals and aesthetics that dont resonate with his very traditionally japanese understanding and performance of masculinity, and he just feels kind of disillusioned and defensive and all-around miserable that he's being 'left behind' in this 'old world' without any fucking chevys in it. like he doesnt want a chevy but everyone else has massive hardons for chevys and all his male peers think thats the only way to attain true masculinity and it makes him sooooooo mad, and frankly, even though he's a misogynist freak, i get that. maybe i am just an american car hater, who knows.
anyway saionji's inclination to the princess role (it's a bit more of a bride role than a princess role, but these distinctions are muddy; i'd argue a princess is entirely passive, but a bride actively wills the outcome of a duel) is deeply sad to me because it's just like this guy has absolutely no idea what the hell he's supposed to do to have a place in this world, attain specialness, command respect and attention. like he was repeatedly mocked for and excluded from attempting masculinity and he certainly cant be a princess (wow isnt this an interesting idea i wonder if it relates to the transfem reading haha what) and he doesnt feel any inclination towards either gender presentation particularly. he likes woodcarving and cooking, is artistic and earnest and expressive, but he's also a devoted kendoka whose sense of masculinity is closely tied to that practice. his gender is, by ohtori's rules, desperately confused and inconclusive. thus he forms part of the trifecta that is himself, utena and nanami, or as i like to call them: transgender freaks and cowgirl. good lord have they slipped through the cracks of this evil bastard system and attempted to fit all the same, understanding absolutely nothing about the impossible spaces they try to fill.
anyway whatevs. now im gonna talk about anthy and touga because my blog is the anthytouga show in my mind despite rarely talking about them and mainly just reblogging deranged art (affectionate) of them. anthy and touga are bonkers to me because they ARE the norm, but also no they arent. and that's the whole thing. like they embody the ideal so perfectly (prince and princess respectively), but anthy's also a witch, and the rose bride, and touga isn't really a prince. theyre unable to join as a prince and princess should, unable to be virtuous and perfect due to their knowledge and awareness. like, theyre both aware of the artifice of their existences and performances, but neither of them can really artiulate that awareness because doing so would jepoardise the positions theyre currently in. for touga, that's a very valuable one that has him close to 'escaping' (read: getting the key to the birdcage and holding it over everyone else's heads). for anthy, it's also valuable but not for herself, not really. it's valuable because it's a position from which she can help akio, and akio needs her, and she is indebted to akio and obliged to sacrifice herself eternally for him. etc etc etc. god i hate this man. you get what im saying with this. it’s about the precarious position that you are placed in as a victim, the power dynamics of it all. you have the knowledge that could crack the world’s shell easily, but you have been caught in such a way that you believe sharing it would kill you (again). it wouldn’t be worth anything. all it does is highlight how disgusting and awful you really are, and you can’t let anyone know that (the objective truth) because then they will stop loving the idealised you you’ve been performing and see the real you (evil and monstrous). ohhhhh what’s that Judith herman quote about being filled with black slime that pours out of your mouth when you open it. anthytouga hours (i am inconsolable rn)
sorry about this rant! i simply have too much to say about this goddamn show and merely wish to discourage people from 'girl prince' and 'boy princess'-ing characters into boxes. you know, utena's whole girl prince thing is actively critiqued by the show because there's nothing revolutionary about assimilation. every character in this show's cast is androgynous and it's up to us to determine what we think those unique expressions of androgyny mean. there are certainly girl prince-isms and boy princess-isms to characters, some more so than others, but you know. the ambiguity and freedom of the transsexual or whatever

pleaseee tell me more about jensen and gender stuff. his nonchalance/detachment about his own gender is so interesting to me. anything really :) but i really like the thing about him only thinking about his gender/himself and defining things when he's prompted to do it.. so if you want to elaborate on that i won't complain!!!!
thank you this is exactly the kind of ask i was looking for omg i loveee ranting for way too long ab jensens character [jensen gender post]
ig the best way to put it is that jensen thinks his gender is the least interesting topic of conversation at any given moment. really anything ab himself, actually
before i get into that tho we gotta go back to undergrad when jensen actually started formulating this image/personality for himself. jensen was in the music scene and started breaking into the industry w his bandmates, but had to quit just as they got an official offer bc he was not creating a sustainable lifestyle or persona
he let himself pretend to be so much more than he felt, and he was constantly putting labels on himself to create this clear image of a "rockstar" (not exactly, but the idea that he was a solidly defined person in a defined role yk). he said that he absolutely was bi, absolutely was the image of a cis queer man who was willing to play w fashion and push against norms, but deep down he hated that. not what he was doing, but the fact that even by breaking out of a stereotype/box, he was just putting himself into another. it all started to play along w the idea that he was a partier and mr popular and a young queer guy who wanted to make a name for himself
i havent talked much ab his little college mental breakdown, but that was essentially what started it. he couldn't handle being that "guy" for the rest of his life. he didn't want to be in a box. he didn't want to be a box
as he started in medicine, he really was able to put his time and energy into the things he was interested in and had a passion for, and he could let go of the idea that he had to be a somebody doing a something for a reason. he could just exist and do the work he was interested in (and yes he has always stood out, but during that time he felt like he didn't, which is something he's always struggled with)(yes it has to do w the undiagnosed autism. anyway.)
and thats kind of when he stopped living by the expectation that he has to be this clear cut, singular line of a person. why should he care ab defining his gender and sexuality when there are so many more compelling and interesting and important things in the world? that is such an irrelevant part of him when compared to the intricacies and complexities of his profession and interests and world events and everything else aside from it. now, he does fully and completely understand that he does have certain advantages and disadvantages because of how he looks and presents, but in regular old conversations ab life and his career, it doesn't seem like the most pressing matter to bring up. those advantages and disadvantages are just frustrating to him more than anything, but thats bc they bring up questions of nationwide and systemic issues, not bc it specifically has to do w him. again, he is the least interesting part of this equation in his mind
by putting a label on himself, the world is expecting to see him in one way or another, when really he thinks the world doesnt need to be in his business at all. jensen hates small talk and the surface level type of information you "should" know ab a person. if he clicks with someone, they'll get through a 2 hour conversation ab hypothetical treatments for an uncurable disease before they learn each others names. it matters more to him what people believe in and are passionate ab than what their name or favorite season is. ofc he respects people and their identity, but that has nothing to do w whether or not he click w them on a deeper level
this is also what i mean when is say he isnt open ab himself unless being prompted. again w the undiagnosed autism, but jensen has always felt that someone else has to set the tone and depth of the conversation before he adds on. he has to gauge what their expectation of the conversation is before he gives his input
with that said, everyone says jensen is super quiet. he observes conversations long before he participates in them, which leads to a lot of people talking at him bc they perceive him to be quiet and a good listener, when usually hes just trying to soak up as much information as possible to say the correct thing
but then theres people like bryce who want to have a back-and-forth conversation, and have the confidence to straight up ask jensen his opinions and feelings on things. he responds best to direct questions bc its a clear "this is what i want from you" rather than trying to figure out what the next depth-match and appropriate comment is
so when it comes to people asking in intro/casual conversation ab his sexuality and gender, he can give them a set answer he's already picked out, basically. he's comfortable saying he goes by he/him and is bi but thats just bc it moves the small talk/uninteresting part of the conversation along faster
but, when he's w people (like bryce) who want and ask for the real, complicated answer? he will absolutely elaborate. but again, it all depends on the nature of the conversation and what he thinks is appropriate for it
if its a convo that doesnt matter, he'll say what he has to even if it isn't 100% accurate just bc he doesnt care enough to elaborate on it when it's unimportant. whereas in convos he cares ab where he can be 100% real and truthful and elaborate fully on his feelings ab things, he will

Sorry, you're going to have me rambling in your ask(?) box now.
I'm the one that sent the ask about Nancy cheating and ok. Female infidelity in Stranger Things bugs me. Like Karen is about to cheat on her husband (With someone young enough to be her son and I hate Billy but he should have not been the guy Karen tried to cheat on her husband with. Like anyone Karen's age. ANyone) and she decides not to and it has no impact! She's still with Ted! And it never gets resolved. Like the Wheelers could have been a great way to show how to work out issues in a marriage healthily or they could have shown Karen asking for divorce papers! Like this is seen as a moment of empowerment, but Karen actually doing something to change her marriage is far more empowering and that doesn't happen! And with Nancy, the cheating is never addressed because the narrative doesn't consider it cheating, but as you mentioned, if the genders were swapped, people would be having conniptions! (Also like with Nancy, if you swap her gender, a lot more of her actions get more unlikable) Like Karen and Nancy cheating doesn't have an impact on the narrative and it should! Because infidelity is not ok! And yeah, female infidelity is viewed/portrayed differently in media and it's interesting because it's how women broke free in a way, from unhappy marriages in the old days, but it shouldn't be that way these days. Even with the show in the 80s, Karen still had options to get out of her marriage. Nancy could have broken up with Steve anytime she wanted!
Honestly I love getting asks!! feel free to ramble away and I will do my best to answer in due course.
I was talking a while ago, I can't remember to who? About the whole Karen billy thing and how they either should have leaned further into it or leaned as far away from it as possible while still maintaining Billy's issues with middle aged women.
Like if they leaned further, they could have set it up with her sorta...making comments about/to Steve or touching his arm or something a bit too long. Nothing overt but definitely weird vibes. And then had her really into it in S2 when billy comes around, her playing into his flirting more. Similar in S3 but the only reason she doesn't go to meet him is Holly having a fever or something. Make it clear that while Billy is a racist asshole, he's also a kid that is being used by someone older than him that should know better, making him an easier puppet for the mind flayer.
But if they did that they'd have to address it and this show seems to actively avoid doing that.
Or if they leaned away, they could have had Karen looking uncomfortable and/or worried when Billy tried to flirt in S2, and in S3 maybe have her directly say to him that it's inappropriate and not safe for a boy his age to go after older women. Specifically showing concern for him (also this may have helped the writers not only with Karen but also with making Billy sympathetic by overtly showing he's got complex issues that he isn't dealing with, also foreshadowing losing his mom etc.)
Ohhhh okay but if Karen's infidelity sideplot was explored a bit more, with some random dilf, and she also chose not to go through with it, but then actually spoke to Ted about what she wants in the marriage? And how they can try harder to be attentive to each other? The fourth of July could be something of a "second first date" kind of deal. Idk if old mate Ted would be trying but. It could have shown Karen taking a more involved an engaged role in her own relationship. Would have been interesting. Nancy could have seen that too (idk if she'd like it I think she kinda wants their parents to get divorced.)
Also yeah. A woman in the 1800's cheating on her husband with the iceman, or a woman in 1950 lusting for her coworker, is not the same as a woman in 1985 cheating on her boyfriend or husband. Like. Historically marriage was a political or monitary contract, and while I'm sure many were loving, many more were of convenience and involved a lot of cheating on both sides. A woman taking a lover was a way of empowering herself in a system that actively denied her agency, but it was dangerous, and its not like it didn't hurt anyone? like if you're both married for political reasons and have an understanding, have at it. If one of you actually cares for the other, as in modern relationships, that's another thing entirely!!
No fault divorce wasn't a thing in most states until the 70's. So yeah some people were stuck, and some people continue to be stuck in bad relationships. I get that divorce is hard and scary to do, But part of having agency in a relationship is being the one to say "this isn't working for me anymore. Something needs to change. Maybe We should break up" whether or not that relationship is just dating or a marriage.
So while I guess Karen is a little more understandable (she has three kids with red who seems to have checked out, lives in a small concervative town, voted for Reagan so maybe also has religious objections to divorce but tbh they don't seem religious just conservative) in her temptations (if it weren't for the fact he was a teenager) Nancy literally could have ended things with Steve at any time. Like. She could have not gotten back with him in S1! Nancy not breaking up with Steve when she wanted Jonathan is not Steve's fault.
Okay going for the middle bit about the narrative not treating it as cheating: Nancy is such an interesting character because she's goodhearted and strong willed and willing to do just about anything for the truth and has flaws. She bulldozed over people she cares about. That's why she's interesting! She isn't perfect and it's frustrating when the narrative and fans treat her as such. Let women be imperfect and viewed as such! Let Nancy try to work on thinking about how her actions, while she views as just, might actually hurt someone deeply. Like. Steve is an interesting character because he's done bad things and is self-sacrificing and vain and protective and sometimes doesn't think before he speaks. He's a good guy with flaws. That's what makes a character interesting, and at least the show does treat Steve's flaws as flaws that he needs to work on (though it's also comic relief)
But please imagine if everything played out exactly the same, but instead of Nancy sleeping with Jonathan we saw Steve hook up with some girl (he wouldn't, because he's in love with Nancy but imagine). There would not be a day on earth where someone wouldn't bring up "Steve cheated on Nancy". Like if nothing else but which partner cheated changed everyone would actually see it as cheating, and it'd be treated as such by the narrative. It'd be another asshole Steve moment, and there's be very little argument about whether or not the relationship was over, because it wasn't.
