thank you for rebloging a lot of positive and kind things in the past couple of hours. its been really nice and im sure im not the only one who could need it we'll all make it, eventually, it just might take time and a lot of effort, but we'll all make it to a nice and kind place in life

It’s all I can do to stay sane atm. Unfortunately there’s not much to be done about the situation at hand in the broad sense. I am but a blip in the void. I did what I could, and the outcome occurred.

There’s been enough despair that I’ve inflicted upon myself as of late (separate from world events). Agonizing over this won’t change it. So I have to keep living.

Nevertheless, we continue.

First off, thank you SO MUCH for reading!! All the King’s Horses has become my precious child and is so so self indulgent, and I’m just so excited that people other than myself are enjoying it!! So thank you so very much!!

I will have another update a week from today, so this coming Friday! (Or at least that is the plan) I am currently on vacation and did not plan well enough to save the new chapter as a draft on AO3 to then publish today… and I am not tech savvy enough to copy it from Google Docs on my phone / iPad and then put it into AO3 and formate it properly. I am an old lady and I gotta do that on my laptop 😂 BUT I am super excited about the next chapter! We get to meet Fictional!Charli 👀

The horror of Tumblr Live has finally breached containment and it's available outside of the US now. (Tbh I thought the third party hosting app that they are using for it was illegal in other places, but oh well.)

Friendly reminder that you can turn it off in content settings - but it only "snoozes" for a week and you can't permanently turn it off.

July 2022 me was like 'I have covid and my personal and professional lives are in tatters, I haven't written fanfic in like 15 years, let me write this one bonkers garashir fic that is in my head, as a coping mechanism, and then I'm probably going to forget all about it and never write anything again'

February 2023 me: everything except the covid got much worse in the meantime but things are tentatively looking up, have 3 active multichapter garashir WIPs and am so DEEPLY fulfilled by writing lizard porn that I literally don't understand how I got through life without it???

I know that I'm not particularly outgoing, though I try my best, I'm going to try to share a little bit.

Things changed a lot for me this year. I got in to graduate school (again) and got a new job which both required me to move to a new place.

I found out that I have a tumor and have been dealing with that.

I've wanted to much to be creative, but everything has been sapped away. I miss it, and I promise to be back. I am, at heart, a writer - it is always there bubbling away- so I will be back to writing (oh, the codywan plot bunnies!)
