Here's a look at the current leadership positions in each clan!

In HollowClan we have: Burnetstar, Pebblepelt, Plumvalley and Swanpaw. Crazy that one family holds 3 high ranking positions.

In RiftClan we have: Russetsstar, Cragwhistle, and little Emberpaw!

And in ClawClan we have: Sorrelstar (girlboss), Rosemaryclaw, and Boulderleaf!

AIGHT! I was asked and now I get to ramble!

First things first- wintersong goes by just about any pronouns, but is biologically female.

Wintersong is a cat originally from fallenclan, a clan that had recently gone very downhill leader-wise.

His father, Burnetstar, decided that as a lone kit, he'd make the perfect pawn to use as he commanded. Winter received specified training and basically did what he was told out of fear he'd end up on the other end of things.

Well then he got hit by a kid on a bike and taken to the vet, where he was soon adopted. Seeing this as a chance to escape, he went along with it. Simple luck brought him down south where the main story takes place.

In an effort to have a minor semblance of being wild again, he tried to make a deal with the closest clan to be allowed in their territory. The answer was no unless he'd have the leader's kits.

There was talking and winter, desperate for that sense of normalcy, agreed. He spent the pregnancy at his owners house and gave birth under it. The kits were moved to Shrubclan where they would be taken care of better.

Turns out the leader had a mate, that mate was Blossomtang. Winter didn't know this and things were bad for a while between them. But a bit after Blossom became leader, she came to terms with what had happened and did her best to make up for her actions against Winter.

After an attack by a group of nasty people and their dogs, Wintersong takes charge to help prevent them being caught unaware again. He was promoted to top warrior since the deputy died and Blossom had an order to go in with who got to be deputy next.

That's about as far as the rp gotten but I can jump ahead of it to say that he is such a powerful menace to everybody who attacks his clan that one of his enemies brings in a special illness somehow, and despite being sick, Winter is still a badass and fights his best to defend his clan

CAMP: ShadowClan’s abandoned twolegplace. Each of the rooms are used for differing dens: the bedroom for the nursery, the bathroom for the medicine den, the study for the leader’s den, etc. and etc. It was here that the original Clan cats found strangers living, and joined forces with them in an unheard of pact between loner and Clan. They were named Solar- after the other group’s founder, an ancient cat named Sol, signifying the union of the two groups. 

TERRITORY: ShadowClan’s ancient territory. At one point they owned half of SkyClan territory, however due to WildClan’s advances they were pushed back behind the little waterway. Keeping the smallest territory, SolarClan is in a bit of a stitch, as they cannot claim more territory from WildClan due to the waterway that now seperates them (and WildClan’s fierce protection of the twolegplace bridge); but they can’t take any territory from FarmClan due to their strength and deep, cascading river.

PERSONALITY: SolarClan is notably different from the other two, thanks to the joining of Clan and loner. Loner culture made its way into SolarClan’s daily life, such as a difference in how outsiders are regarded, and how tightly one should stick to the Warrior Code. They ask many questions, often ones that have no forseeable answer. They are a bit more artistic and - if one’s being honest with themselves - eccentric.

APPEARANCE: SolarClan cats tend to be big, fluffy, and dark. It seems that white just doesn’t occur in their genepool, for whatever reason - at least, not pure white. And it isn’t that they almost exclusively sport black or grey cats - no, they might be the most colorful Clan on the spectrum! The difference is that they just happen to be incredibly dark. Their ginger cats are always dark russet or deep rust; their grey cats are charcoaly; their brown tabbies are a deep ruddy brown, and their black cats come out blacker-than-black it seems. They have very lithe builds under all their fur, and are quite nimble despite their percieved size. They have almost strikingly pale eyes, ranging from green to blue. They also tend to have slightly strange white patterns, such as having white faces or an all-white back half, giving them the effect of ‘pants.’

🪶Burnetstar🪶

This nervous-looking Oriental mix is Burnetstar (pronounced burn it), the jittery leader from my fanclan universe. Although she doesn't like it much, she currently leads KestrelClan (and has eyebrows that look suspiciously like kestrel feathers). Her leader's mark is undeveloped but is recognizable as four small fuzzy blobs of some sort.

Burnetstar is on relatively good terms with Songstar (the one from earlier) despite their closely-guarded borders. They seem to have come to a mutual understanding regarding boundaries, which is more than the other two leaders can say. As PewterClan expands, the two clans take care not to encroach upon each other.

☆Leaders' Markings☆

In a great deal of Warriors fanon, the concept of leader's marks is explored. These mythical marks adorn the faces of leaders (of course) when they are accepted by StarClan. Some may choose to portray the marks in the shape of a star (of any number of points) on the forehead.

In my canonical universe, these marks are individualized and change shape over time, sometimes to the point that they barely resemble stars. While the canon depictions of my leaders aren't finished yet, you can at least look at their marks.

Songstar

Songstar (leader of PewterClan) has a very unusual mark. It has rounder edges than most and is quite frankly unrecognizable. It's still technically star-shaped but looks fairly like a group of leaves. As the most recent leader, her mark will take shape as she ages.

Burnetstar

Burnetstar (leader of KestrelClan) has a mark in the shape of some downy feathers. They're not particularly flashy feathers, but she likes it better that way. As she continues to lead the clan, those feathers may take on a less ambiguous look.

Brazenstar

Brazenstar (leader of ResinClan) has a mark in the shape of a copper or bronze blade of sorts. (Some may, of course, see the resemblance to a cross, but cats in my universe have no concept of Twoleg religion.) He is a fairly experienced leader, not having lived with Twolegs for over 24 Moons. As such, the sharpness and bold contrasts of his mark are worn with the utmost pride.

Snowstar

Snowstar (the curmudgeonly leader of BuntingClan) is the oldest of the four and has a mark in the shape of a snowflake. It is deliberately asymmetrical, but the reasons for its being so are known only to StarClan (and myself.) When the season allows, Songstar accents this unique mark with the mature blue-grey fruits of the bayberry plant, adding to his refined demeanor.

Awhile ago, I designed a character so badly that I had to come out of hibernation to redesign her.

Namely, Burnetstar.

Her original design had several flaws. The most glaring of which was that despite being an Oriental Shorthair, she looked nothing like one. Seeing that post again spurred me to give her a second redesign.

It's not perfect, but she at least resembles her breed now. (Additionally, her leader's mark is now a dragonfly instead of a blob.)

HollowClan - Year 1 Overview

Last one for now! Reminder, this clan also doesn't use traditional naming, so no suffix explanations!

Moon 0:

HollowClan is founded. Burnetstar, Pebblepelt, and Branchbumble are in positions of power.

Pebblepelt and his apprentice Stempaw come across a dog. Stempaw bravely sacrifices himself and leads the dog across the Thunderpath where they are both hit by a car and killed.

Moon 1:

Peakkit is made an apprentice and given to Cindertuft. Cindertuft works on rock-climbing with Peakpaw.

Peakpaw purposefully picks the smallest piece of prey when Strawkit asks him to. Peakpaw turns his nose up and says now that he's an apprentice, they can't be friends. He's too important now.

Moon 2:

Tensions between StrikeClan and HollowClan peak at the gathering.

Peakpaw has gotten a running nose.

Branchbumble attempts to lift spirits by telling bad jokes. Pebblepelt laughs.

Moon 3:

Cindertuft had a bad fall while walking through the territory, but luckily only ends up sore.

Branchbumble was seen joking with a loner.

While out on patrol, Pebblepelt asks an extremely, most definitely, hypothetical question. If he was hypothetically interested in another cat, how might one go about talking to them about it? Hypothetically. For a friend. Of course.

Moon 4:

Peakpaw and Cindertuft both heal from the ailments.

Burnetstar tells Cindertuft to asses Peakpaw today. Peakpaw must track Cindertuft and take him down. Utilizing his strengths, Peakpaw does so with ease, and Cindertuft reports happily to Burnetstar.

Moon 5:

Strawkit is finally made an apprentice, and is given to Pebblepelt. Strawpaw is excited to finally get back to talking to Peakpaw.

Burnetstar announces their pregnancy.

Strawpaw and Pebblepelt head out. They come across a strange carcass, and two days later develop yellowcough.

Moon 6:

Burnetstar gives Peakpaw the warrior name of Peakpelt.

Burnetstar awkwardly rejects Pebblepelt's romantic interests.

Branchbumble is found dead near StrikeClan's border. Burnetstar vows revenge.

Moon 7:

HollowClan formally declares war on StrikeClan.

Pebblepelt survives yellowcough and is able to visit his single kitten that Burnetstar gave birth to. HollowClan wonders if the two will formally become mates now for their new kit's sake, but the two awkwardly skitter around the topic. They name the kit Plumkit.

Moon 8:

Cindertuft realizes they don't feel like a tom anymore. They chose to come out as non-binary.

Strawpaw recovers from yellowcough and is immediately put into strenuous battle training due to the war.

Moon 9:

StrikeClan attempted to take some territory, but with their low number of warriors, HollowClan wins easily.

Burnetstar plays moss-ball with Plumkit, gazing at him fondly.

Pebblepelt and Strawpaw find a loner. It doesn't take much to convince them to join. Grayblotch has joined the clan.

Moon 10:

Pebblepelt, seeing how happy Cindertuft has become since they came out, also starts feeling the same. They come out as non-binary soon after.

Burnetstar, wanting to keep their warriors sharp, wakes up Strawpaw, Greyblotch, Peakfur, and Pebblepelt for early morning stretches. They complain the whole time.

Moon 11:

HollowClan starts sending out extra night patrols to keep an eye on StrikeClan's borders.

Peakfur and Cindertuft happily announce they are now mates.

Moon 12:

Finally, after moons of dancing around each other, Burnetstar and Pebblepelt declare themselves as mates.

Strawpaw gains his warrior name, Strawfern. He is honored for his honesty.

FINALLY A CLAN WITHOUT MURDERS OR A NEW DEPUTY WOOHOOO WE DID IT BESTIES

I honestly really liked Branchbumble, rip homegirl. In-game she was found by the RiftClan border, but it was actually good timing for the war with StrikeClan, so I changed that.

Also half the clan is non-binary now we stan.

I do have it so former mentors and apprentices can be mates. Cindertuft is only 26 moons and Peakfur is 17 moons. This age gap is fine with me, but if there's a bigger gap then I would feel uncomfortable and break it up.

Here's a KestrelClan cat with unusual ears. This is Crescentmoon (he/they), who serves under Burnetstar as a young warrior. He came to the camp shortly after Songstar met Burnetstar and soon proved himself to have potential. His smaller stature and striped pelt allow him to lay low in situations where it's necessary, something Burnetstar fully intends to use to the clan's advantage. Due to the strange shape of his ears, Crescentmoon insists on keeping them fastidiously clean to avoid infection, often via several trips to the medicine den.

To flesh out my post regarding clan leaders, here's my final vision for Burnetstar (at the time of the sketch, she did not have her leader's mark and was known as Jellybean). She is a former kittypet and has little prior experience, but still finds herself founding KestrelClan in the abandoned quarry. I'll write more about her later, as well as the other two undepicted leaders.

HollowClan - Year 2 Recap

Moon 13:

StrikeClan and HollowClan end the war.

Mid-apprentice ceremony and to the shock of his parents, Plumpaw announces he wishes to take the path of a healer, because HollowClan needs one. Admiration in their gaze, Burnetstar proudly names their son the newest healer.

Moon 14:

Plumpaw and his other parent Pebblepelt gather moss.

Strawfern misses an easy catch and is sulking >:C

Burnetstar visits Plumpaw, and admires how much he's learned.

Moon 15:

Burnetstar and Plumpaw fail to read a warning from StarClan, resulting in Burnetstar losing a life. Plumpaw is distraught over this, but Burnetstar comforts him, telling him they have plenty of lives to spare, and to think of this as practice.

Strawfern scowls for no reason >:C

Pebblepelt motivated Plumpaw to get out of his nest this morning. Plumpaw reluctantly sorts old herbs.

Moon 16:

Cindertuft and Peakfur have found a litter of 3 kits and decide to adopt them. Swankit, Crocuskit, and Ganderkit.

While on patrol with Grayblotch and Pebblepelt, an odd scent drifts through the air. Suspicious, Burnetstar follows it, only to find a lost, confused old kittypet. Fred is escorted back to camp.

Moon 17:

Fred dies of carrionplace disease. There's nothing that could be done.

Plumpaw feels a little overwhelmed.

Swankit and Plumpaw chat about what Plumpaw is doing.

Moon 18:

Burnetstar announces they are expecting kits! Plumpaw is anxious to be delivering his little siblings soon, but Burnetstar and Pebblepelt reassure him that he'll do great.

Swankit is hanging out with Plumpaw again.

Moon 19:

Burnetstar is unsure how many kit's they'll have.

Crocuskit has gotten kittencough. Swankit offers to help Plumpaw.

Moon 20:

The kits are here! Two of them, Shykit and Whisperkit. While Plumpaw was busy delivering them, Swankit wails as Crocuskit dies of kittencough. Remembering what his parents said, Plumpaw comforts Swankit.

Pebblepelt notices Ganderkit pacing back and forth erratically. Burnetstar takes the initiative and starts to describe the territory to Ganderkit.

Moon 21:

While out searching for herbs, Plumpaw picks up a scent, which leads him to a panting, bleeding queen. Healing her with what he has on paw, he leads her back to camp. Pepperfish, Cresskit, and Treekit join the clan.

On the other side of the territory, Grayblotch and Strawfern find an injured kittypet on the Thunderpath. Theo joins the clan.

Moon 22:

Plumpaw is made a full healer, Plumvalley, and immediately takes on little Swanpaw as his new apprentice.

Ganderpaw is apprenticed to Grayblotch, looking excited.

Moon 23:

Burnetstar returns to their duties.

Theo announces she is expecting kits!

Moon 24:

Theo hopes for a small litter.

Ganderpaw and Grayblotch have a nice sparring session.

Swanpaw is thinking about Crocuskit again, and Plumvalley notices his dejected expression while out herb gathering. Plumvalley gently explains how, Burnetstar lost a life right in front of him when he started training, and how Burnetstar and Pebblepelt had told him that, you can't save them all, but you can certainly try. Swanpaw takes this to heart, and thanks Plumvalley.

Pepperfish watches over Cresskit and Treekit fondly, reflecting on how grateful she was to be taken in, and how much better her life is now, and that her kits have a future.

Lot's of nice character moments this year. I'm really fond of Swanpaw and Pepperfish!

Also I realized that same-sex adoptions are on in this clan for some reason? This was changed after Swan, Crocus and Gander.

StrikeClan - Year 1 Overview

WOW! We did it. A whole year with the blorbo's. Let's take a look at what happened:

Moon 1:

StrikeClan is founded. Emberstar, Silverstorm, and Lightleaf are in positions of power.

Sparkfur gifts Emberstar a pink tulip bulb.

Mistface has a running nose.

Moon 2:

Mistface recovers from her running nose!

Moon 3:

Mistface is seen loitering around the border, looking for a specific cat.

A cat named Waterfern asks Dawnfoot if she can join. She is renamed to Deerstep.

Dawnfoot is murdered by an unknown culprit.

Silverstorm is expecting kits.

Moon 4:

Lightleaf confesses her love to Emberstar. Emberstar tries to let her down in the nicest way possible.

Moon 5:

Flintkit is made an apprentice and given to Sparkfur.

Silverstorm's kits are born, and the second parent is the recently murdered Dawnfoot. Silverstorm names the tom Cloudkit, and controversially, names the molly Dawnkit.

Moon 6:

ClawClan, StrikeClan's rival, sends their dying healer, Boulderleaf, to ask for herbs. Emberstar turns her away.

Lightleaf receives a prophecy: "Beware the son with a pelt of black. Extinguish the flame before the flint burns."

Lightleaf kills Flintpaw by feeding him water hemlock.

Moon 7:

Mistface has gotten whitecough.

Emberstar is sharing prey with a local loner, Morel.

Emberstar is later found dead under a fallen log with dog scent around her. Morel reports he saw a cat with a black pelt leading them to her. Emberstar is convinced this is the leader of HollowClan, Burnetstar.

Deerstep fights a dog and is injured. She also is infected with whitecough.

Moon 8:

Silverstorm retires due to age and mental struggles.

Mistface is named the new deputy and promised Cloudkit as an apprentice.

StrikeClan declares war on HollowClan due to the information given to them by Morel.

Moon 9:

Deerstep recovers from whitecough.

Moon 10:

Dawnkit gets greencough.

Moon 11:

Emberstar begrudgingly goes to the nursery after announcing she's pregnant.

Silverstorm's kits, Dawnkit and Cloudkit, are apprenticed to Deerstep and Mistface.

Sparkfur admits she was the one to murder her sister, Dawnfoot, and says that she was planning to do something to harm StrikeClan, and so she needed to die. Emberstar choses to believe her.

Moon 12:

Emberstar hopes for a small litter.

Mistface and Cloudpaw are bonding, and Mistface is seeing the shy little tom come out of his shell more and more, even attempting to prank her.

Deerstep has healed from her dog-related injuries.
