Ok but could you imagine. After they get wise to earth Just Being Weird Like That, it'd be fun if team prime had a running joke during subsequent winters about the impending apocalypse whenever the weather's a little harsh or if something inconsequential goes wrong around the base. Helps remind them that Earth's not going anywhere anytime soon and takes some weight away from the thoughts that it might. Hard to be at the top of your game when you're always worried the ground's gonna crumble and fall from right under your feet.

omg I am NOT a Lucius guy but you really made him work for me! Draco’s needling him and care for him and estrangement from him feel so REAL and so does Lucius’s love for Draco. Usually I’m like 🙉 about the Malfoy family’s relationship but like. and yeah exactly, regardless of my feelings about his parents, draco is going to have very complicated feelings about them!! especially as an adult, like i'm an orphan so i've never experienced this but i know there's a shift at some point where you feel like your parents aren't really responsible for you anymore (and in some cases that might be a good thing, e.g. draco's case) but you kind of feel responsible for them and have to manage that. and what draco has to manage is a mostly-retired murderous henchman who needs him to dig a grave, etc.
