What's Transformers ARK Elita like?

I'm so glad you asked teeheehee :]

Elita, one of the most feared among the autobot ranks. Luckily for the Decepticons, she's usually too busy running the whole army to show her face in battle often. But when she does... it's almost a promised victory for the Autobots. Her paint is the color of Energon... an usually graphic choice for an autobot. She's the oldest sister of the trio (Consisting of Arcee and Chromia) and considered the strictest and coldest of them.

Her objective is to protect her family and her people, by any means necessary. She views Optimus as a kind and inspiring leader... but sometimes she thinks he's far too soft. She often makes the hard decisions that he cannot, and takes over command when a more objective approach is needed. The two disagree frequently, but are also very aware that they make up for each other's weaknesses. Optimus is able to show empathy and compassion when Elita cannot bring herself to. In another world... they are each other's perfect other half.

Unfortunately in this world, there is a war to be won, and that leaves no room for pleasantries.

Warriors grinned, and the last bit of his strength slipped away, sending him crashing down into Legend. The veteran’s arms wrapped around him, holding him close, and Warriors leant into him even as his own arms tightened around Wild’s unconscious body. He wouldn’t drop the boy—not so close to the end.

“Hyrule!” Legend called, and turned around. Warriors stumbled with him in a bit of an awkward dance, dragged along by the other man’s strength.

anyways. there's this point in the story where vash and wolfwood have to go their separate ways for a while, but neither of them are dealing with it particularly well

Sooooo I happened to run into an mlp AU called exileverse by @thiscatdraws a while ago, and then got invested in it SO bad that I kinda got into my mlp phase again after like 8 years. What would be a better gift for this amazing AU than some good old fanart and exileverse-ifying my OCS, so meet the siblings Lilybell, Pale Star, Scorching Storm and their father, White Night! Here’s some lore for them Imanaged to make: In the farthest norths of Equestria is a cold, barren land, with frequent blizzards and dozens of nightless days.(A bit northern Europe-ey, like Sweden! The one who governs this land is the House of Light, the forefront defending Equestria from many dangers of the north- especially, the Umbrum. The House of Light,(The House, in short) is a clan of white, fierce pegasi, adapted perfectly to the harsh environment and always ready to fight. They are also known as devout followers of Queen Celestia, holding the Sun, light, and strength as their most important values. Though however fearless these ponies are, the House of Light has its dark sides. Living in an arduous environment, the need for survival changed into obsession for physical strength, and the House relentlessly trains their children for battle, exiling weak members out of the family. Also, countless wars with the Umbrum has led the House to resent the darkness as a whole, rejecting nighttime and even dark-colored ponies. All three of the siblings have fell victim to this, as Lilybell and Scorching Storm both were kicked out each due to weakness and a black pelt, and Pale Star is often overwhelmed by his duties as the only heir of the Patriarch and the pressure to be strong that his father constantly burdens him with. As ponies that dislike the dark, the House is one of the few that actually preferred the time when Nightmare Moon was defeated and Equestria had no proper nighttime. You can probably imagine their disdain when Twilight Sparkle ascended into the Night Deity, providing darkness to Equestria…and when they found out what she did as one…and when, after all those years of fighting, one of the princesses decides to marry an Umbrum.

I had a lot of work, plus I'm recovering from a stomach infection from a virus circulating in my area….

Sanji is definitely not well, but he doesn't say anything because he doesn't want to be a burden or someone weak. He will have to learn to trust others if he wants to free his brothers.

Thank you so much for asking! I’m going to say something wild - that it’s fine if you understand the risks and agree to the conditions. Sorry for writing an essay about the conditions, but it interested me a lot - I want to welcome this spirit, and am also conscious that published authors don’t do this (however, I don’t want their job.)

Long story short: you can, but it’s not legally advisable, but fuck it, we ball.

Grownups share toys, and Killie exists to be rotated - and, when he achieves sufficient velocity, thrown briskly into an obstacle. Sharing this burden with others pleases me. I’ve already said an emphatic GO AHEAD to fanart and AU fanfic, so worrying about this too much would be a case of shutting the barn door after the horse has eaten it. We do a lot of riffing and yes-anding each other, which is the ENTIRE fun of talking about Killie, and is the ONLY reason he’d get a book anyway. And my approach to intellectual property is more collaborative-Goncharov than the inciting published-authors-shouldn’t-read-fic-incident (1990s drama with Marion Zimmer Bradley.)

Killie’s intended to have a little self-published, non-commercial book that isn’t written yet. If I was already planning to do something similar to your ideas, it might lead to awkwardness for both of us. I’m not saying it would - we are too mature and kind - but that’s the risk I don’t want you to take unknowingly. I do mean to create 1 piece of fixed canon material (plan for that here), for which I plan to charge sufficient money to reimburse the cost of the editor I plan to hire for it. So you would have to decide whether you’d like to risk your headcanon being canon. I will say upfront that there is zero risk of Killie being commercially viable (CAN YOU IMAGINE) so there’s no chance of anyone (including myself) getting paid for anything; it’s more about the idea of intellectual property. Your headcanons belong to you, and by kindly sharing them with someone who hasn’t written the canon yet, you risk a lot more than someone writing about a closed, distant work.

You don’t need approval or permission for headcanons. You don’t need approval from anybody to enjoy them.

Of course, half the pleasure of sharing headcanons is sharing them for connection and communication ARGH.

It would be great if you could share them somewhere else, without worrying about me being involved, but Killie’s entire fandom is the 20 of us, currently housed here, in my living room.

I do want to encourage you to do that (posting without telling me/discussing with other people). you don’t need my permission, and are welcome.

But I do understand Killie’s fandom is housed in my living room at the moment. As much as I intend for him to move out in the future, ideally into a small kennel in YOUR living room, it’s very natural for current observations of him to take place in my living room.

Thus, here is my policy:

If you send me a headcanon, please understand that you are voluntarily and freely releasing your idea, in the spirit of willing sharing. There is a very slight risk that your headcanon will overlap with something in the unpublished Killie book, so you’ll have to agree that you understood this risk - and that I don’t owe you anything, if it’s similar.

If you have a very good idea that would be absolutely load-bearing, I’d like to reach out for a mutually consensual permissions statement to use it. You would have the ability to decline. Agreeing to its use would involve you getting full credit for the idea, my warm thanks for sharing it, a link to your blog in online material, the admiration of everyone reading the credits, and probably nothing else will be in my power. Payment is unlikely. Co-authorship is not on the table, as I can’t write checks I can’t cash (I.e. I can’t promise to pay someone with credit on a product that might not happen.)

submission of writing prompts is done freely in the tumblr context, and I’m going to make the formal statement that a prompt does not grant co-ownership of the resulting work. Submission does not mean co-ownership - if you submit a prompt, you’re giving me permission to use it in any way I like, with or without credit. At the moment, it’s all on tumblr and attached to usernames, but if the inspired work moves to another platform (I.e I include a comic in Killie’s book) I’ll endeavour to keep the credit to your tumblr handle. I plan to thank everyone who makes the work so possible and so delightful!

Once Killie has this completed piece of work out (working title Throw Your Heart Over) he’ll be fair game. Literally hunt him for sport with my blessing 👍

I would then put him in a hamster ball and kick him down the stairs step back a bit because I think it could be a bit oxygen-smothering when creators are TOO involved - I’d like to respond to asks, but would not want to know what people were saying elsewhere- but once moved out of my living room, Killie will no longer be my personal problem.

I was thinking of licensing him as Creative Commons anyway, but he still needs to move out of my living room and get his own address for that. At any rate, then, it will be chill for all of us to do whatever. Intellectual property WHOMST. The only thing would be I don’t want him sold without permission.

The intention of Killie is mental freedom and growth of identity; if I hogged him all to myself, I’d break that intention, and he’d rightfully stop working for me.

In conclusion, by willingly sharing a headcanon WITH ME, you agree that you get: small but high-quality connection, engagement, my admiration, hoots of amusement, tears, maybe a comic in response.

You do not get paid, you don’t get co-authorship or have any ownership.

If your headcanon accidentally matches a canon statement that I haven’t publicly made yet, you’ll have done very well by guessing foreshadowing, but unfortunately receive nothing. Guessing canon in advance does not mean that you gave me the idea, and you have agreed that by sharing it willingly.

There's something about the rare strongman!Bruce fanart I find that makes me insane. Then I started thinking about it and like? Bruce in the circus would be so good? and really easy to incorporate into a timeline like:

Imagine Bruce runs away at 15

He has just come back from being “transferred” to Gotham Academy from a boarding school

This is accompanied by Alfred expressing his disappointment. Bruce had already been thinking about being a burden and leaving and while in the main timeline he waits til graduating he kinda snaps

He comes across the circus and through means, I don’t think are particularly interesting, Bruce convinces them to let him tag along

“What would the boy do?”

“He could be a strongman.”

Both look over at awkward mid-growth spirt Bruce.

“Really?”

“Ay, he’s got the build for it.”

Bam! Bruce is in the circus.

He’s training to be a strongman but in the meantime excels at other tasks, including but not limited to: 

Juggling, knife throwing, animal handling, tightrope walking etc,

Not to mention already can bookkeep and can pick up languages like popcorn

Essentially good at most things except general clownery and more artistic performances like silks.

The general demographics at either about at least 10 years his senior or his junior.

Kids wise, there's just him and of course 4-year-old Dick

When Dick meets Bruce he’s like “this is my new best friend.” meanwhile Bruce is like “oh fuck, oh fuck, what the fuck do I do with a child”

When Dick is around 8 Bruce is forced to acknowledge that Dick is also his best friend and boy doesn’t that make a 19 yr old feel lame

Despite all this, Bruce is in an environment where there’s no pressure to be a Wayne and gets a clean start, which does wonders for him

Still pushes himself out of guilt and anger but now instead of being shammed for it, the people around him just redirect it

Bruce? Getting a supportive environment to train in? Sure hope that doesn’t destroy the universe

Welp, about that

Bruce stays with the circus consistently for years but disappears for a couple of months when he turns 18 (he went back to Gotham to a) prove he’s fine and b)claim his inheritance. 

Does this for a couple of reasons, one of which is that he finds out the circus is losing money and goes back so he can figure out some kind of investment to help

While there, realizes Gotham has gotten bad and is hit with that classic “oh god I’ve been happy while people are suffering I am a horrible person”

So while he does go back to Hailey’s, he ends up leaving more often as he finds different teachers and is unknowingly, officially on the path to Batman™ 

Right around 20 Bruce straight up fully disappears with barely a word as he ends up involved fully with the League of Shadows

Comes out of it a year later

The next time the circus sees him, they are performing in Gotham 

Good news is, the circus doesn’t get blackmailed/pays off protection

The Grayson’s rope doesn’t snap! Yay!

Bad news: someone tries to blow up the circus during their performance. Not only do the Grayson’s die but also the circus almost has to close down. 

The rest follows somewhat similarly but with nuance I’ve run out of room to go into.
