It’s Lord Peter time again so I’m watching Have His Carcase, which is definitely the middle episode of Angst and Yearning. The 70s TV shows really are the dream as far as adaptations go but on the second time around this one really has Bunter at his hottest, featuring:

Bunter riding down the beach on the most beautiful horse

Bunter being so gentle and understanding with the gardener

Bunter code switching and the awkward family dynamics with him and Harriet where they both like each other but also this is So Fraught. Also him being fabulous in a fedora. Don’t know the name of the actor but he just brought so much depth to him. I didn’t fully appreciate him the first time around because I was still reeling from the transition from Previous Bunter in the Ian Carmichael show

This one also just has a lot of great moments of Harriet and Peter being cute 🥰

Also the wrist kiss at the end!!!

As for Bunter/Helos, i was going for how Philip might see himself even after all his years and how he might think he looks like his young self. And after possessing Hunter and seeing himself in the mirror might just make him go 'oh.' Over just how much he looks like his brother now and maybe trigerring a memory or two he might have tried to bury away.
