SAW THE MUSICAL: THE UNAUTHORIZED PARODY OF SAW Extends Off-Broadway and Announces National Tour.

After an astonishing New York run this Fall, SAW The Musical The Unauthorized Parody of Saw has extended its run Off-Broadway at AMT Theatre (345 West 45th Street) through Jun 23, 2024. It will also kick off a national tour in LA with a six-week run beginning Feb 29 at the Hudson Theatres Mainstage (6539 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038 in Hollywood) SAW The Musical: The Unauthorized Parody began performances Off-Broadway on Sept 16, 2023, with its New York Opening Night on Sunday, Oct 1, 2023, and was called "Hilariously Absurd" by NPR. (AU Smiling Critters X The Owl House)

Idea: Un AU donde los Smiling Critters están en el Universo de The Owl House, mantengo la misma historia pero con algunos enfoques diferentes en la historia

Dogday es un humano pero en vez de ser tomado como el primer humano en aprender magia, este se disfraza como una criatura más para encajar.

Kissy Missy y Poppy cuando encuentran a Dogday lo ayudan a pasar desapercibido con un collar de sol que con magia de ilusionistas lo ayuda a tener una apariencia un poco mas perruna (solo las orejas de perro y los ojos negros con pupilas blancas como los demas critters) y lo acogen en su casa.

Gracias al collar de sol con magia de ilusionistas, no tiene los problemas que tuvo luz en un inicio para encajar

Poppy en el pasado fue la bruja más poderosa, hasta que la maldijeron y la volvieron un bastón, debido a esto, ella puede transferirle todo su poder a quien porte su bastón (o sea, Kissy Missy o Dogday)

Catnap es quien encarna la maldición de la bestia búho, siendo este la "Cosa" (haciendo referencia a la versión Bigger bodies de Catnap), la maldición fue puesta por 1006, quién quería que Catnap sea más malvado y cruel. Además que fuera más dependiente de él

Catnap, Al estar basado en Amity, inicialmente sería un bully influenciado por su "padre" adoptivo, quien sería una combinación del Emperador de The Owl House y Prototype 1006 de Poppy Playtime. A lo largo del AU, Catnap experimenta un cambio, motivado por su relación con Dogday, de quien se va enamorando poco a poco.

Catnap presentaría los mismos problemas que Amity tiene con su madre Odalia alrededor de la Serie en este AU, pero con el enfoque de ser hijo del Emperador, casi un príncipe (royality goes bad)

1006 representando tanto a Odalia como al emperador Belos, y al ser Catnap Amity, y 1006 Odalia, el gato morado es manipulado por su padre, el Emperador 1006,

Debido a su relación con Dogday. El Emperador permite inicialmente la relación para sacar información de Dogday y sobre el mundo humano, además de tener más control sobre Catnap, amenazando con atacar a Dogday si no obedece sus órdenes.

Tenemos Kicking x Bubba porque en esta casa amamos el Goldric. (Y la rivalidad de Catnap y Bubba claramente es algo divertido. Y que de todos los demás Smiling, sé que Bubba podría ser capaz de seguir al prototipo solo por conocimiento)

La tensión emocional entre Catnap, Dogday y el Emperador, es importante, a Diferencia de Luz en The Owl House, quien se enfrentaba a Odalia y a Belos Por separado, Dogday debe enfrentar a 1006, quien no solo es el Emperador, si no el padre de Catnap (su pareja platónica)

”I’ve enjoyed dope for more than 40 years,“ Oliver Stone says, speaking by phone from his Los Angeles office. “It started in Vietnam, I was a soldier. I showed it in Platoon. Half the platoons were getting high—not in the field, but in the back, and it made that whole experience survivable to a large degree. I don’t think I would have kept my humanity without it. Getting high was an antidote to the madness we were surrounded by. I’m very serious about that. The music and the dope.”

I’m talking to Stone about his latest film, Savages, the story of a couple of high-end hydroponic pot growers—rock stars of the Southern California boutique marijuana scene—who run afoul of a ruthless Mexican cartel angling for a cut of their business. It is, I think, his best movie in years: a ripe, wildly energetic caper—a Stone(r) noir, if you will—that also provides a sharper snapshot of the way we live now than the more overtly topical World Trade Center, W., and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. International diplomacy and the state of the economy are very much on Stone’s mind here too, but the politics are niftily concealed by a vibrant genre-movie surface; striking, color-saturated visuals; and the toned, tanned bodies of a sexy young cast in various states of rest and motion. Think Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (a movie Savages directly makes reference to) if Butch, Sundance, and Etta were a full-blown ménage à trois. Think They Live by Night with surfboards and tattoos.

Adapted by Stone, Shane Salerno, and Don Winslow from Winslow’s compulsively readable 2010 novel, Savages follows the perils of Ben (Aaron Johnson) and Chon (Taylor Kitsch), yin-and-yang best buddies who meet cute on the beaches of Laguna and soon go into business together. They use primo seeds ferried back by Navy SEAL Chon from the Afghan war zone to cultivate a highly potent strain of weed whose profits in turn fund the new-agey Ben’s third-world nonprofit. The two friends share home and hearth with the movie’s narrator, O (Blake Lively), a burnt-orange beach bunny who claims to love the two men in her life equally, though perhaps that love is not quite as intense as their own bromance. Then into this progressive love nest comes a missive from the cartel honcho known as Elena “La Reina” (Salma Hayek), who makes Ben and Chon an offer they can’t refuse: join forces with her or else it will be O’s decapitated head they find under their communal sheets.

The cartel in the film behaves like a corporation—Wal-Mart by way of Monsanto—wanting to co-opt not only Ben and Chon’s distribution network, but their seed-growing technology too. And everyone is, literally or figuratively, in bed with everyone—the cartel with American Indian reservations, the DEA (in the person of John Travolta’s deeply compromised agent) with the dealers and the growers alike—leading to a wild, loop-de-loop climax that may leave some wondering if THC has somehow been piped into the cinema.

Savages presents a fascinating cycle of subterranean trade: high-quality Afghan weed makes its way to Southern California as a kind of byproduct of the war over there, and ex-SEALs use their military training and weaponry against the Mexican cartel in a new kind of war zone.

I don’t want to be preachy, but that ties in to my belief that blowback exists in this world. You don’t go fight foreign wars and expect them to stay there. The blowback comes, and not only in the form of Osama bin Laden in 2001. We have so many wounded people from the two Iraqs and Afghanistan, people with diseases and concussions and maimed limbs. There’s tremendous callousness in the country and it destroys us, and in a strange way Don Winslow caught that in his book with this idea of these soldiers becoming active here. In Vietnam we always thought that we’d come back and we’d make a difference here in this country; we’d lead the revolution against Nixon. I love the idea that this kid Chon just takes things in his own fucking hands. He doesn’t go crying to the cops—there’s no cops to cry to. They drive around on bicycles in Laguna. So he gets his RPGs and his IEDs and he fucking does it with real hardcore veterans. I loved that idea of war coming home to roost.

The depiction of the Mexican cartel is unusual in that the characters are quite three-dimensional, particularly Salma Hayek’s Elena, who has a fraught relationship with her twentysomething daughter, and who ends up treating O as a kind of surrogate daughter when she kidnaps her.

We always thought of it that way. We also had scenes with Uma Thurman as the mother of O—they were good scenes that were funny, actually. But with the movie being two hours and 10 minutes now, we were concerned. John Travolta’s character also had a wife, and there was a tender scene between them. And there was a very interesting side story with Lado, Benicio’s character—we had Mia Maestro as his wife, and we see that she is trying to make their children into Californians and the kids disgust him because they don’t have any of the old-fashioned ways that he wants. But we had to let all that go. What I like about the movie is that it has a tension to it, and I think it keeps you going, wanting to know what’s going to happen next, and it doesn’t let up.

The three leads have a terrific chemistry together. They really click in a way that gives the movie a lot of energy. How did you decide on the casting?

Aaron was the first one in. I met him and I just fell for his charm. We met in London and I said, “I don’t know which one you should play, but I want you to do this movie.” He was getting hot, he had done Kick-Ass and I had liked him in that. He was being offered a big role, and it was a big deal for him, but he gave up the [other] movie because he loved this idea so much. Then I saw Taylor in Friday Night Lights and an early version of Battleship and thought he was dead-on for Chon. So that made Aaron Ben. Blake came about after Jennifer Lawrence dropped out to make The Hunger Games. It was a difficult movie because she had Gossip Girl shooting 10 months a year, so she had to fly to New York practically every fucking day. She was working monster hours, as they do on TV. We stayed on schedule, but it was a difficult shoot.

The film feels in some ways like a sibling to Natural Born Killers and U-Turn in its ferocious pacing and the hyperreality of the imagery—the intensity of the sunlight and the bold primary colors.

Let’s put it this way: it was going to be a sun movie, which is to say Mexico, the South. The colors were intended to be primary, and I drove everyone a little bit crazy with that. Early on, I screened Contempt for [cinematographer] Dan Mindel, and I said, “I want these colors.” We had great sun all summer, we were shooting outdoors, we shot with windows, we shot with light, we tried to use as much beach life as we could. At one point, I went out on the set and screamed that I wanted towels, as many bright yellows and blues as possible, to get rid of the weaker colors that were sneaking in. Sometimes set designers want to have that tasteful balance, and I said, “No! We want excess!” Flowers, paintings, everything we could do to get some color in there, including bringing standby painters in and just slapping a wall together if we had to at the last second. My references in this were certainly Contempt, but also Duel in the Sun—I saw that several times when I was young, and I saw it again recently, and it’s just beautifully done. The showdown scene at the end was sort of an homage to that. Also to Leone.

To wit, the movie’s score has a strong spaghetti Western feel to it.

It’s funny you should say that, because I went about 10 rounds on U-Turn with Ennio Morricone. It was the only time I worked with him, and I never worked with someone so difficult in my life. It was a creative collaboration, but I think I’m the only American director who made him return to America a second time—he doesn’t like to travel—because I was unhappy. At one point in our collaboration, I actually showed him a Road Runner cartoon and I said, “This is the type of music I want you to write.” And he looked at me with a cold stare and said, “You want me to write cartoon music?” But if you listen to U-Turn, there’s a lot of boings and bings and bangs.

On Savages, I didn’t really know what the sound should be. There was a guy, Adam Peters, who I’d used on The Untold History of the United States, and he did great work for me. He’s English, so he’s not at all of the Italian style, but he adapted. As with Natural Born Killers and Any Given Sunday, we used a lot of needle drops, a lot of Mexican music. We listened to all the narcocorridos, but we didn’t end up using any of those. We put Brahms in under the sex scene at the very beginning because I wanted the movie to have some tenderness and romance. There has to be that element like in Duel in the Sun where you feel for these people—they’re young, they’re tender, they’re at the mercy of the world, they’re in danger, and they’re in love.

How do you interpret the love triangle at the center of the film? Do Ben and Chon really love each other—as Elena intimates—more than they do O?

I don’t know. I did look at Butch Cassidy before we shot the movie, and it’s interesting, because Katharine Ross is with both men, but it’s so hidden in the movie that you barely notice it. Certainly, Butch Cassidy was considered, even at the time, a bit homoerotic. O has her own journey, too. She lives through this thing and she has to find herself, through this process of looking at death so clearly. She says toward the end: “I don’t think it’s possible for three people to be equally in love.” Which indicates that she’s thought about what Elena says to her in the dinner scene: “Something’s fucked up about your love story, baby.”

What is the current status of your Showtime miniseries, The Untold History of the United States?

It grew out of my desire to leave something behind. I’m aware of what my three children studied in American History and I’m aware of what I studied in American History, and I feel like we were all cheated by the book publishers and by the schools. In my case, it grew into a mythology about the United States that was very dangerous, because among other things I went to Vietnam under the belief that we were fighting the demon enemy: Communism. And what we did in Vietnam was so heinous, so evil, and it bothers me still that it was never apologized for, nothing changed, and we went to more wars. So in 2008, around the time I was doing W., I started this project. It was designed to be 10 chapters about the mythologies of American history, going back to 1945 and the bomb and working our way through to 2012. It’s an upside-down version of American history, which is to say it takes everything you thought you knew about America and questions it. Anyway, it turned into a monstrosity. It went two years over and took a lot of time. Writing history for film is the hardest thing in the world, and I’ve been giving all my free time to it when I haven’t been making other films. It was originally scheduled for May, but when Universal moved Savages to July, we and Showtime decided to push it back to November because we didn’t want to overlap. We’re working like dogs on it as we speak. We keep revising, fact-checking. Things change. It’s a bitch.

Savages ultimately feels like the work of a filmmaker reborn. If you watched it without knowing who directed it, you might think it was the work of a first- or second-timer fresh from film school or music videos, showing us everything he can do, in case he never gets to do it again.

It’s really my third or fourth childhood, because I’ve had these kinds of periods before. Bear in mind that I did Platoon when I was 37. To me, part of me had died in Vietnam, and to finally get a chance to make a movie about Vietnam in 1986 when I was almost 40, I felt like an old man then. I was going back to my 20-year-old self, and being in the jungle with Charlie Sheen and all those young dudes, I was the old guy. Life is like that—you get old, you get young, you get old, you get young. That’s happened to me repeatedly. Natural Born Killers was an enormous explosion of energy at a time when I was getting divorced and my life was falling apart and I was in a very dark place and I just said, “Fuck it.” So the answer is, I felt very old on the movie at times, because it was such hard work, and to get out of your chair for the hundredth time of the day and have to walk over to some young person and talk them through the whole thing again… What am I doing out here in 100-degree heat at Pyramid Lake? But it’s the idea that keeps it alive.

As a director, you sometimes feel like you’re the most loathed person, because you’re telling everyone what to do. And most people in life, myself included, don’t like to be in control all the time. I don’t enjoy it. But once in a while, you have to go out there for 60, 70, 80 days and you’ve got to be in charge and you’ve got to be tough to bring it together, because it’s tremendously logistically complex, and if you have 16 competing visions or even two competing visions, it won’t work. Every time you direct, it’s a tremendous effort. It’s like mounting the D-Day invasion. I’ve made 19 movies and they were 19 wars.

Trivia:

This video was filmed the day after the guys got home from their whirlwind trip to Los Angeles, which had included a concert followed by three other video shoots in two days.

It was also just a week and a half before Rachel's wedding.

The gang took advantage of the cooler autumn weather to get out of the studio and onto New Smyrna Beach near the lighthouse / historic landmark in Ponce Inlet, FL.

They also seem to have made a bit of a couples' outing of the day, since Kathy Castellucci, Nick Perez, and Cyndi Stein are all credited as grips in the YouTube description.

This is a rare instance (for the era) of VoicePlay outsourcing their musical arrangement. They'd known and worked with both Ben and Hannah for many years, though, so it was in trusted hands.

They didn't just use the church interior to film their outro after the sun had set. They recorded footage for a second version of the video, exclusive to their Patreon patrons.

Es una desgracia que Missa no pueda sangrar, ¿Verdad?

Necesitaba sacar este ship de mi sistema. Bad es un ser manipulativo y Missa siempre cree en sus palabras. El siguiente contenido contiene temas delicados.

Bad no recuerda la primera vez que probó la carne humana, tal vez esa fue la razón por la cual fue desplazado del cielo, quién sabe, han pasado tantos años de eso, y tampoco es un hábito que tenga, la carne humana no tiene ningún sabor en particular o tan siquiera agradable, pero la sangre.

La sangre humana es distintiva, con un sabor ferroso y al mismo tiempo dulce, jamás olvidará la sensación del líquido en su lengua bajando por su garganta, tan cálida y húmeda, no puede olvidar el sabor y por más que lo desea, hace años no ha cazado humanos; por respeto a sus amigos mortales ha dejado de buscar ese dulce elixir.

No conoce mucho de la vida de Missa, sabe que está relacionado con la diosa de la vida o de la muerte, no está muy seguro, pero de algo que sí estaba seguro es que el esqueleto no es humano, no es mortal, su sangre debe ser diferente, no roja, no debe de desprender ese aroma a metal, no debe de desear tomar al mexicano y encajar sus colmillos en su piel, desgarrarla y succionar cada gota de su cuerpo.

Ese es el BadBoyHalo de siempre, una faceta que muchos no conocen, uno que desde la llegada de los dragones ha cambiado su forma de ser en extremo, la mayoría de los habitantes no conocen su ser egoísta, manipulador, obsesivo, el demonio no se detiene hasta conseguir lo que quiere y ahora lo que quiere es la dulce sangre mortal del mexicano.

La confusión en la expresión de Missa es delatora, conoce al demonio y sabe que a veces sus palabras significan otra cosa, utiliza términos y expresiones incorrectos para lo que quiere dejar ver, pero en esta ocasión, no está seguro si es lo mismo; después de todo, el de cabello lacio tiene una expresión seria, mirada fija, no sonríe, sólo lo está viendo como si pudiera penetrar su alma, aquello le provoca escalofríos. ¿Estará diciendo la verdad? ¿Puede confiar en él? ¿Es el BadBoyHalo de siempre? Todo pasa tan rápido y confuso, y aunque sus palabras fueran ciertas, él está con Philza, claro, de forma platónica, pero su corazón le pertenece al híbrido cuervo, no quiere romper los sentimientos de ninguno de los dos, el demonio es su amigo pero el cuervo es su esposo.

El mayor solo sonríe antes de tomar la cintura del contrario, se acerca lentamente cerrando sus ojos levantándose en las puntas de sus pies, el esqueleto debía admitir que la imagen era linda desde su punto de vista, cerrando los ojos termina por acortar la distancia uniendo sus labios suavemente, el demonio tenía un suave sabor a moras azules, era cálido y suave, incluso puede decir que lo está disfrutando.

Duraron un par de minutos con aquellos besos suaves y tiernos hasta que el esqueleto decide que es suficiente e intenta separarse, si no fuera por el repentino y fuerte agarre en su mentón que lo obliga a mantenerse en el beso, intenta separar al demonio tomándolo por los hombros mientras el mencionado logró colar su lengua entre los labios del mexicano, forzando a profundizar el beso.

Al tratar de separarse se tropieza con los pies del mayor cayendo ambos al suelo, Bad aprovecha este descuido para tomar ambas manos del mexicano y posicionarlas encima de su cabeza sujetandolas con una mano, el esqueleto comienza a paniquearse, no quiere abrir los ojos, quiere separarse y huir, quiere correr a su casa y acostarse en la misma cama que Philza, quiere sentirse seguro a su lado. Los pensamientos del menor son interrumpidos al sentir la fuerte presión en su labio inferior junto con el fluir de cierto líquido cálido en su boca, cuando finalmente el demonio se aleja abre los ojos para verlo sonreír, con sus labios brillosos e hinchados junto con su propia sangre en su lengua, la mordida podría ser comparada a tener el labio roto, aún puede sentir su sangre fluir por su boca.

– You taste good Missa.

– ¡Suéltame Bad, quiero regresar a casa!

– Your house? Missa, that is not your house, you don't deserve it.

– Pero-

– You have always been outside, your family even don't know where you are going and when you will come back, and when you come back, they're sleeping, it's like you don't want to see them.

– ¡Eso no es verdad, claro que quiero verlos, son mi familia y los amo!

– And I don't have any doubt about that, I know you love your family, and I'm pretty sure they love you back, but you don't deserve them, and Philza doesn't deserve you, he's just playing with you and giving you false hope.

Missa no podía creer las palabras de Bad, sabía que Philza y Fit eran cercanos porque se conocían de antes, no podía creer que tuvieran una relación antes y menos que sigan coqueteandose, pero ver el rostro del demonio le hacían ver qué era verdad, Bad es de mentir casi siempre y es muy difícil saber cuándo dice la verdad a cuándo dice una mentira, pero él ha logrado notar pequeños gestos que hace cuando miente, ninguno de esos gestos apareció todo este tiempo, está siendo sincero. Se siente mal, se siente patético, lleva enamorado del rubio casi desde que llegaron a la isla y nunca intentó nada fuera de sus límites por creer que es hetero, ¿Entonces por qué con Fit si puede actuar de esa manera pero con él no? Tal vez Bad tenga razón, tal vez Philza nunca lo verá como él lo ve, relaja su cuerpo debajo del demonio, cierra los ojos y asiente lentamente, el mayor solo esboza una sonrisa más grande al verlo rendirse debajo suyo, suelta sus manos y lo abraza escondiéndose en su cuello susurrando cerca de su oído.

Zorro (Get your swashes buckled, folks!)

For those who are unaware, Zorro (“The Fox” in Spanish) is a masked swordsman who fights a corrupt government in the same vein as Robin Hood or the Scarlet Pimpernel, but in the town of Los Angeles during the time California was under Spanish/Mexican rule. Much like the aforementioned literary heroes, Zorro is a member of the local aristocracy (Don Diego de la Vega, son of one of the largest landowners in the region) who acts like a dandy and a coward to hide his masked activities.

He has been in literature since 1919 and has been in several movies and television shows (usually by a white man) In fact, it wasn’t until the 70s that a Latino (or Spanish) actor was cast in the role! Talk about injustice!

Most people know the Zorro films that starred Antonio Banderas as the title character (who inherited the mantle from Anthony Hopkins, yet ANOTHER white guy!) Many have seen Guy Ritchie as Zorro in the 50s (who didn’t need to worry about being white since the series was filmed in black & white and no one could tell his skin tone) The film I was first introduced to the character was Zorro, the Gay Blade (no, it wasn’t porn!) which starred Goerge Hamilton (yep, another while guy) as Don Diego and his twin brother Ramon (AKA “Bunny Wigglesworth” who was, shall we say, a bit flamboyant) The less said about that film, the better.

But the subject for this review was a forgotten gem from the 90s that aired on the cable network known as The Family Channel (I swear I saw it in the USA Network, but I couldn’t find any record in my research to prove this)

The series, naturally, follows Don Diego (played by Duncan Regehr yet ANOTHER white guy!)

…and his masked alter ego. (NOTE: Regehr was more muscular and fit than most previous actors in the role, meaning he could be a bit more physical. The character was also written as being a bit of a science buff)

Don Diego lives with his father Don Alejandro (played by Efrem Zimbalist Jr (yep, also white), who voiced Alfred in Batman: the Animated Series, in season 1…

…and Henry Darrow (FINALLY! A Latino actor, and one who actually played Zorro a few years earlier!) for the rest of the series)

…as well as his family’s mute servant Felipe (played by Juan Diego Botto), who also pretends to be deaf and is the only one who knows Don Diego’s secret (it’s not like he can tell anyone)

Don Diego’s love interest is Victoria Escalante (played by Patrice Martinez, who also played the love interest in The Three Amigos)

Zorro fights the corrupt Alcalde (governor) of the territory around Los Angeles Luis Ramone (played by Michael Tylo...yep, another one)

…but was replaced in season 3 by Ignacio de Soto (played by J.G. Hertzler (Seriously?!))

The Alcalde’s chief aide (and leader of the garrison) is Sgt. Mendoza (played by James Victor, the ONE Latino on the bad guys' side), who is the comic relief (of course...) for the series (which explains why they can never stop Zorro)

The plots generally revolve around the Alcalde’s latest plot to stop Zorro by trapping him while performing some form of injustice against the people of Los Angeles, only to be foiled. Note that while the series is very by-the-numbers, the action sequences are well done and there are a number of well-known (or soon-to-be-well-known) actors (as well as, for some reason, a handful of World Wrestling Federation wrestlers) who have guest starred.

Nathanahel Ruben Cano Monge better known as Natanael Cano is a singer-songwriter of corridos tumbados from Mexico.

Biography

He was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, on March 27, 2001. At the age of nine, he began playing the guitar for his family, inspired by his favorite singer, Ariel Camacho he has said in an interview that he learned to play guitar from tutorials from youtube. Then it was in ten grade that he left the school to make a musical career.

After he left his school and also his home, he started living in Tijuana, Baja California and in 2018 when he has nineteen years old he signed with Five Music label with which recorded his first five song, being "El de los lentes gucci" the song that stood out, thus beginning the genre of “corridos tumbados”, then the next year in 2019 he signed with La R Records to publish his first album titled “Todo es diferente” giving him the fame he was looking for as a teenager, achieving big hits on his album, such as “Soy el diablo” or “ El de la codeina”. Months later signed with Rancho Humilde label, which was with this label that he could go on with his career as musician, because they give him his first paycheck and a home in Los Angeles, and it was in that house that he meet another singer called “Junior H” and they become a very good friends recording many songs together.

His songs began to occupy the first tops in the Hot Latin Songs. Natanael Cano has collaborated with many artist such a Alejandro Fernandez, Steve Aoki, Bad Bunny, Los Tigres del Norte and many others, thus making new types of music like this, influencing more in the regional music industry.Nowadays he has win a lot of awards such a Latin Billboards, Latin American Music Awards and MTV EMAS”s, making it world famous, at the moment he is the #285 artists listened in the world on Spotify and in 2023 he released “PRC” with Peso Pluma and “AMG” with Gabito Ballesteros and “Peso Pluma” that put him on the top of any music list.

Today he has 22 years old, has released 11 albums, being the most recent the album titled “Nata Montana” that how he said “ this album is a door that i open long time ago and with this it close” also he has his own label called “CT”, has acted in a  HBO TV show called “UGLY” and also with Prime Video that is a documentary, is known for creating the “corridos tumbados” genre and he has said that he is “proudly Mexican”

As we have seen, Natanael Cano is an influential singer for music that keeps the mexican culture on the top.

Katherine est née le 25 mars 1984 à Los Angeles

Elle a commencé à chanter à l'âge de deux ans et sa mère Patricia Birch McPhee (nom de scène - Peisha Arten), coach vocal et véritable chanteuse de cabaret, a remarqué le talent musical de sa fille et a décidé d'étudier avec elle.

Le 2 février 2005, elle épouse Nick Kokas.

 Nick Kokas et ses parents l'ont convaincue de participer à l'émission American Idol.  Elle a été auditionnée à San Francisco avec la chanson "God Bless the Child" (Billie Holiday).  Le vote final en mai 2006 a montré que Katharine McPhee n'a pas reçu la majorité des voix et Taylor Hicks est devenu le nouvel American Idol.

 La chanteuse a interprété son premier single "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/My Destiny" le 27 juin 2006.

 Katherine a tourné avec le ténor italien Andrea Bocelli.  Ils ont joué avec les duos "Somos Novios" et "The Prayer" dans trois de ses tournées américaines du 9 au 11 juin 2006.

 En 2008, le premier long métrage avec la participation de Katherine est sorti - Tha House Bunny (au box-office russe - "The Boys Like It")

 Katherine est également retournée au studio d'enregistrement, à la suite de quoi son deuxième album est apparu, et le premier sur le label Verve Forecast - Unbroken, sur lequel Kat a co-écrit les titres 6. Trois singles sont sortis de l'album - Had It All, Terrifié et dire au revoir.
