not really an archie question but i think you'll like it: so when i was a kid i used to have a game called sega genesis collection (i think thats what it was called?) on my xbox and there was an option to go find all the covers from the comics of the archie sonic series (at the time)! the only full comic they had was the one based on satam/adventures of sonic the hedgehog and was the introduction of bunnie rabbot! i wish i could play it again but i think it was delisted cause i wouldve recommended it to you to see it!

are you talking about sega mega collection? im aware of the archie covers iirc it had all of them up until the current (for the time) issue. i used to have the game downloaded but ive since deleted it... the comic ur mentioning that they have in full is probably the original miniseries? bunnie wasnt in that one but i dont think they had bunnies intro issue available to read. been a while since i played mega collection

Comm - Bunnie and Mina (Furry TF/TG)

Following up on @tf-sential's stellar commission work from last month, this week I have another, more distant pair of furry forms to share, as taken on by yours truly! This time around, we see only one of those coming from Mobius, with the added benefit (or detriment) of some roboticized limbs as Bunnie Rabbot! The Freedom Fighters were always a cool bunch to me, and as biased as I am toward both rabbit and robot characters, you would think I'd give Bunnie more attention - something I really oughta correct, isn't it? Second up is a heroine we're still waiting to be fully introduced to, with the heroine of the upcoming Mina the Hollower! A game which I'm very excited for, as a lover of Shovel Knight and especially Zelda, not to mention cool mice like her. And what better way to hype myself up than spending a level in her shoes? Assuming I can even figure out how to work her moves and gear and get through it...

5. "Welcome to Our Bright New Future!" A piece I dedicated to my fanfic "Time and Reality Paradox" on AO3, it's to a scene in which Nine reveals to Sonic that he had created new replicas of Amy, Rouge, and Knuckles so that he'd stay in the Grim with him as his forever home. These variants were soon came to be as Cosmic Rose, Selene Rouge, and Auster Knuckles. Basically the Grim variants of the originals.

4. Super Shadow 2 from Shadow Frontiers. Honestly, despite never reaching the chapter yet this image goes so hard for me. It definitely gives me the "Fuck around and find out" attitude Super Shadow gave off, and during the fight with the End this is exactly how I envisioned him powering up. All in all, I love this thing.

3. The Emergence AU: New Yoke Entries. Despite being a new concept, I honestly had a lot of fun and love for this perspective shot and the characters themselves. I think Tempest/Rusty looks incredible, and her full design I eventually sketched out gave me very Bunny Rabbot vibes with her robotic legs, arm, and eye.

2. My AU Sonic Meets Fibula. Okay, so... I eventually realized that, hey wait a second... Both have prosthetic/robotic legs! What if they met? So here we are! Honestly love how shiny and clean the art looks, and since I was recently playing around with a tiny bit of shading, it actually turned out really nice looking. It's in my top spot because of it, but it could be argued that 2 and 3 are in a tie.

1. Super Squad vs Titan Sonic. THIS. THIS ONE BECAME MY HYPEST THING EVER! It was so good to me I decided to make it my issue 6 Cover for my comic "Sonic the Hedgehog: Cybernetic" Because I LOVED IT SO MUCH! Heck yeah to anime action!

Just a random idea that popped into my mind in which I wanted to share with you all and hopefully inspire some cute artwork for all you artists.

The idea involves the Dark Mobius (or other M depending on which you prefer) and how everyone though with some changes are somewhat still similar to they're original counterparts from the universe we know for the comics, so what if Scarlette Rabbot (Aka Bunnies Rabbot) like her original self in the main universe still likes styling and cutting hair like how Bunnie usually mentioned in the comics, like if Dark Mobius was more expanded upon the Universe comic series that we could have gotten some very cute interactions with Scarlette and the other Dark Freedom Fighters with trimming their hair to keep it from getting in the way. Heck maybe even have a cute interaction with Demo who's supposed to be her romantic partner in that world.

Are the ArchieSonic comics actually an 80's/90's syndicated cartoon? Episode 50: Major event that dramatically shakes up status quo. Turns out to be a dream

Welcome back to my look at the ArchieSonic comic series, and how it shared a lot of the same story tropes as a typical ‘80s or ‘90s syndicated cartoon!

It’s been awhile between episodes, huh? Well buckle up, because I’m coming back strong with the big episode #50 celebration! You’d expect episode 50 to be a really big, significant episode, and at first it looks like it is. But then they have the gotcha moment right at the end where we find out that none of that actually happened:

Episode 50: Major event that dramatically shakes up status quo. Turns out to be a dream 

A classic trope, this one. One of the best versions of it was in a Batman: The Animated Series episode, “Over the Edge.” Batgirl was killed by Scarecrow right in front of Commissioner Gordon, who declared war on the Bat family when he realised Batgirl was his own daughter Barbara.

What happened after that was incredibly gripping television, and I’d highly recommend you go watchthis episode if you haven’t seen it before.

But we're not here to talk about Batman. In the case of ArchieSonic, I can only really think of one time this happened.

Sonic #37’s cover proudly announced a Bunnie Rabbot solo story, and it’s one of the best Bunnie stories that ever got told in the comic. The day began in a perfectly ordinary way, except that Bunnie was suffering from an itch. She later discovered that this itch was more sinister than she thought, as circuitry had begun to spread from her robotic arm to the rest of her body.

Rotor got to work in his lab trying to figure out what was happening, but the answer soon came to them in the form of a recorded message from none other than Robotnik himself.

Apparently a failsafe was installed in Bunnie at the time she was partially roboticised that would ensure that the job would one day be completed and Bunnie would become a fully robotic slave. Rotor and Tails got back to work to try and come up with a solution, despite Robotnik’s gloating about how the process was now irreversible.

Bunnie however noticed herself becoming more hostile as her robotic side fought for control of her body, and so out of fear of hurting her friends, she fled from Knothole.

After running for hours she found herself surprisingly tired, despite the fact that she was now fully robotic. She fell asleep under a tree and was woken the next morning by Sally… only to discover that she was perfectly fine and her worst nightmare had in fact been only a nightmare. 

Switching things up a little bit, Knuckles had a status quo-altering dream that actually was mostly real. The Sonic Adventure adaptation began in Sonic #79, and they had to change up the story a little bit to fit the ArchieSonic lore that was different to that of the games. So while the shattering of the Master Emerald played out differently in the comic, Knuckles had a dream that more closely followed the introduction of his story in the game:

I guess whether or not it altered the status quo that much is debatable, as Angel Island returned to the sky afterwards. But it was part of a shift to the modern era of Sonic, I feel.

One other shift in the status quo that only happened in a dream was in issue #3 of the original Sonic mini-series, where Sonic got injured in a fight and dreamed that he'd grown up with a young Robotnik as a foster brother on Uncle Chuck's farm.

This was before the canon was retconned to more closely resemble the origin story of SatAM.

But of course, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t mention the most important event that turned out to be a dream, from issue #11:

Whew, I’m really glad that one was only a dream.

Oh. Ohhhhh. Now he seemed to have finally caught on that she was trying to flirt here! At least she would guess so by how sheepishly he chuckled. With an obvious smile under her mask, she crossed her arms, and lightly tilted her head.

" Not all of zhem~ And I never said I got anything against taking it slow, Bunny-boy~ "

Schatten lilted, before chuckling at his obvious sudden shyness. Aw, that's so cute. She isn't even insulted when he mentioned her outfit. Rabbot was also not the first to ask her what she was doing. And he surely will not be the last. But heh, as if she makes it so easy to simply tell him what her motives are.

No one knows. And she knows there are a lot of rumors. Some that she herself had spread. From her being a secret villain, who just waits for an oppurtunity, or a hero to make a big entrance... And some think she's just some girl going around to annoy people.

" Zhat's vhat dates are for, no? To get to know someone better~ And hmmm~ Vhat am I doing~? Maybe if you do go on a date, I vill tell you~ "

She won't. But he didn't needed to know that.

" Also heyyy! Zhis style is called techwear! It's a cool style if you ask me! Also, you can't even tell how many bags only zhis jacket has! A lot, I can tell ya! So zhere is a lot of room to hide stuff! Isn't zhat cool~? "

To hide what?!?

ᯓ🐰˖° Cute? She didn’t even know what he looked like under the— ooooh, the helmet. That’s gotta be what she meant! Duh.

But then as he ‘scratched’ under the nose of his helmet: she mentioned the word date. Oh, wow! It got another chuckle out of Rabbot, albeit one much more sheepish than before.

“You ask all the local rabbits out on dates? I know we got a certain reputation and all, but I like to take these things a lil’ slower than the rest,” said the speedster. <-Surely, there was irony to be found somewhere, but all that for another time.

Besides the point! The cottontail crimefighter cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck (every inch of him shy under a sudden spotlight of attention like this one).

“I think I’d like to get to know you, too. Like— whattya do dressed up that?” He tilted his head and an ear twitched. “Your street-wear style looks a lot like what my hero threads did back when I first started.”

A clear sniff-out on where her motives lay, but if anything, it sounded … hopeful.

9:12 a.m. at Vector and Vanilla's Bedroom........

Bunnie: (Eyes Widened at What is In Front of Her on Vanilla's Phone) Sweet Carrots in a baskets.....Y'all finally got hitched!?

Vanilla: (Holds the Phone Up her and Vector While Happily Showing Off the Diamond Crested Ring) You bet your fluffy, bunny tail we are!~ (Gleefully Hugs and Snuggles onto her Man Beside her) My soon to be hubby gave it to me last night!~

Vector: (Smile Brightly) By standing on one knee and asking her to be my wifey, but (Scoffs Whule Playful Shrugs) It's whatever.

Vanilla: (Giggles and Snorting Softly) Wifey?~

Vector: Hey, it was either calling you that or my waifu.

Vanilla: Hmm.....Vector-Kins' Waifu......(Smiles Softly) I think it has a lovely ring to it.

Vector: You really think so? It sounds pretty nerdy to me.

Vanilla: Perhaps, but if it means that I'll be yours for the rest of our lives, then I certanly don't mind.

Bunnie: (Nodded in Agreement) Exactly. (Puts on Teasing Smirk on her Face) Besides, mah cousin here's a biggest nerd I know growing up.

Vanilla: (Gasps Loudly Before Pouting at her Little Cousin on Screen) Excuse you, young lady!? I'll have you know that I was one of the most popular students in my class. I was even nominated for Prom Queen for goodness sake!

Bunnie: True, but that still never stop you from hitting the books all day. And do I really have to explain all the Perfect Attendance Awards you kept getting every semester?

Vanilla: Well, excuse me for wanting to learn, Bunnie! (Crosses her Arms While Pouting) Not my fault I came out as an egghead......

Vector: (Hugs Vanilla With One Arm) Ah relax, honey. At least you were more popular than I was growing up.

Vanilla: But darling, you were a up incoming DJ artist growing up. You're way more cooler than I am!~

Bunnie: Hang on now. (Raises an Eyebrow at Vector) You used to be a DJ in high school?

Vector: Yep! (Smirks Confidently) Not to brag to anything, but I was pretty skillful in the turn tables.

Vanilla: (Giggles Softly While Coveringer her Mouth) He even calls himself DJ Crocinstein~

Bunnie: (Starts Snickering) That was your stage name? Crocinstein?

Vector: ('Sigh') Look, I was young and stupid at the time, alright? (Starts Crossing his Arms While Pouting) I thought the name was cool......

Vanilla: (Happily Hugs Her Man Softly) Oh honey, It's coolest~

Bunnie: (Gives Vector a Soft Smile on her Face) Yeah, suges. I'd personally kill for a name like th-

A loud, sudden rang into Bunnie's ear as it made her yelp and drop her cup of coffee on the floor.

Bunnie: Ah dang nabbit! This again!?

Vanilla: (Starts Getting a Little Worried) Bunnie? Is everything okay on your end, dear?

Bunnie: ('Sighs Heavily') Yeah, I'm fine, cuz. The alarm just got turned on again. Which means duty calls......I'll call y'all back once the situations dealt with, alright?

Vanilla: (Smiles Softly) Sure thing. I love you.

Bunnie: (Smiles Back) I love you more, big cousin. You too, Vector.

Vector: (Eyes Widened a Little) Wait. Me too?

Bunnie: (Giggles Softly) Of course you too!~ You're a part of this family now, so we gotta look out for one another every now and then, right?

Vector: (Smiles Softly Before Nodding in Agreement) Right. Good luck out there, cousin.

Bunnie: (Happily Salutes to the Crocodile Much obliged, sugah. See ya.

'Call Ends'

Vector: Huh. Well, whaddya know? (Smiles Brightly) I got myself a cousin in law.

Vanilla: (Snuggles onto Vector) I'm so glad you two are getting along. I wonder who we should tell the news to next.....

Vector: Wanna do Rouge next? You two are pals, right?

Vanilla: (Giggles Softly) Gal Pals to be exact. I'm pretty she'll tell Amy about it after. That girl loves weddings more than Cream and I do.

Vector: (Starts Snickering) Yeah, especially when she keeps thinking about marrying q certainblue blur.

Vanilla: ('Sigh') I'm glad those two are finally dating now.....

Vector: Same.

'Door Opens and Closed in the Background'

Cream: MOMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!~ (Runs Over to the Room Hugs Her Mother on the Bed Along With Cheese) Congratulations!~

Vanilla: (Happily Hugs Cream and Cheese Back) Oh my sweet little angels, thank you!~ You have no idea how happy I am right now.

Espio: (Walks into the Bedroom Along with Charmy) Vector, I believe congratulations are in order this morning.

Charmy: Dude, is it really true that you proposed?

Vector: (Smiles Brightly) Yep! And I'm proud to say that she accepted!~

Espio: (Gives Charmy a Small Smug Smirk on his Face) And I believe that an "I told you so" is an full order right now.

Cream: Vector!

Vector: (Eyes Widened a Bit at a Sudden Raised of Voice) Oh! Uhh...(Turns to Cream) Yes, Cream?

Cream: (Gives Vector a (Cute) Serious Look on her Face) You're marrying my mommy in the near future, correct?

Vector: Y-Yeah. I am.

Cream: Which means you'll do everything you can to love and take care of her no matter what?

Vector: (Gives Cream a Simple Nod) Always. I'll never stop being there for her.

Cream: (Looks Down on her Knees) And........(Starts Squeezing her Knees a Little) A-A-And........

Vector: (Starts Getting Worried a Little) Cream?

Cream: ('Sniff') (Looks Back Up to Vector Woth Tears in her Eyes) Do you promise to keep looking out for all of us? ('Sniff') To love us each and everyday? ('Sniff') Like....Like....('Sniff') Like any father would?

Vector: Oh Cream.....Of course I'm gonna keep looking out for you kids. You already mean the world to me as it is, so it would be stupid of me to stop now.

Cream: But.....('Sniff') I don't think you're stupid.

Vector: (Chuckles Lightly) I know you don't, kiddo. But my point still stands. (Starts Rubbing his Arm While Looking Away) Even if I may not be your real father in blood....(Looks Back at Cream With a Determined Look on his Face) that will never stop me loving you or anyone else in this house. That's a promise I'll willing to keep. For the rest of my life.

Cream: (Almost at a Loss of Words) Vector......(Sighs While Looking Back Down on her Knees) You're right. You're not my real father......('Sniff') (Immediately Hugs Vector Lovingly) YOU'RE MY DADDYYYYYYYYYYYY!~ (Cries Loudly into Vector's Chest)

Vector: Cream.....(Eyes Starts Forming Tears) ('Sniff') Come on. ('Sniff') I just got done crying yesterday! Don't make me go back now!

Vanilla: ('Sniff') Well, you're going have to let it out again, dear. ('Sniff') Cause I'M in the mood to cry again!~ (Joins into the Hug While Crying)

Vector: Vanillyeyeyeyeye!~ (Finally Begins to Cry in his Fiancé and Daughter's Embrace)

I’ve made a mention of a possible idea for Marsha’s FNAF verse a while back, but now I have a few ideas for FNAF verses for both Ana and Bunnie. Both would be non-hostile animatronics

Bunnie: All merchandise relating to the western aesthetic. Probably performs with an acoustic guitar.

Ana: Tasked with looking after small children. Has different functions from coloring to telling stories. Even has a voice box for singing songs. Is also the face to advertise the sweets that Fazbear Entertainment offers (candy, cake, etc.).

Sally, who would you say is the smartest when it comes to inventing things? You, Tails, Eggman, Wave, Chris Thorndyke or Hope Kintober? Also, if you had to date another girl, who would it be?

"Well I'd say I'm pretty good, but Tails has a lot of talent, I don't think I've heard of the other two. “Hmm..well, Bunnie is cute, and she has some very good qualities, she's very capable and hard working, and she is intelligent, too."

Alright, caffeine writing time. So based on what I know it looks like Sonic Prime is going to be based off of the Sonic SatAM/Archie comics. I doubt it's directly connected and more like a bit of lore adaption. If that is the case, we can conclude a lot based on the 2nd trailer.

First, Amy Rosebot(I made that up not official).

She seems to be heavily inspired by a character that I doubt we'll see which is Bunnie Rabbot.

Like Bunnie Rabbot, Amy was probably saved during the robotization process. A process eggman uses to turn animals into the mindless drones you fight. (Later freed mentally but not physically)

Now this is where I must make the distinction. My theory based on what I know is this world almost is that of SatAM but with the SatAM characters removed. My first piece of evidence would be the name Sonic Prime. SatAM Sonic has always been "Sonic Prime" it's directly stated in the story itself.

I should mention that means the team from the beginning is team prime and not the dystopia zone team besides Sonic and also that this isn't something new. In the robotization image I showed, Scourge(the green Sonic) is the evil version of Sonic who cast aside that name. While I'm sure them bringing the multiverse back up is to get on the hype train it's not something that is new to sonic. Scourge and his zonemate's first appearance was in 1994, no joke.

In addition, the classic enemies in the beginning scream it to me as well. Since they too appear in the comics. Although they may just be nostalgia bait.
