Then again, it's not unexpected you'd find a way to make even this guy fall for you. It takes time, but Akutagawa sees and uncovers the truth later on.

Honestly, surprised. A God? Really? But how? He's finally peaked some interest to see it for himself.

He's gaping. Your aura is imperturbable, so omnipotent and strong. Yet, it found a hint of peace and tranquility as he felt safe and not ... terrified.

After all, it's a big sister's duty. You both often went to taste some good tea and sweets around Yokohama.

You knew of Kouyou's past - that strength of yours coming as a legitimate God, but then again, you don't bring it up and prefer to help in her healing process.

She's thankful for you, and probably had prayed to you when Kyouka had disappeared. She's that trustful.

You're extremely beautiful, perfectly strong. The times she'd seen you fight so elegantly was a sight to behold. It would never get old no matter how many times.

She would try her DAMNED HARDEST OKAY

Scarily good at cutting (legally she's not allowed to be cutting stuff because she's too young, but she's good at it so I wouldn't snitch). Like she'll slice up a whole box of lettuce in like two seconds. We would NEVER run out of cuts with Kyouka on board

Also very good at cleaning, would clear out the entire store and kitchen in a manner of minutes

However she's bad with customers. Like REALLY bad. She would either just tell them the entirely wrong thing, falter and run away, stare silently in confusion, or just refer them to me lol

Always appreciative whenever people bring snacks to work and let her have some

Her favourite job is cutting and wrapping stuff because it's what she's best at and it makes her feel more confident in her ability

Constantly amazed by the pricing machine that just spits out price tags (me too queen) and is always so delighted no matter how long she'd been working there

I appreciate her doing her best and I don't care how many times she makes a mistake she will learn and continue as best as she can and that's REALLY what counts

Yosano:

Oh boy.

I'll start by saying that a very large percentage of my patrons are middle-aged to elderly men. Some of them are very polite and nice, sure, but there are...others.

These 'others' would not last half a second under the icy glare of Akiko Yosano. A single suspicious glance/comment at me or any other female staff would have her committing suable actions

She'd also be good at cutting stuff, but probably get a little too zealous when she gets to cut pumpkins (aka use a mallet and a giant knife at the same time)

Absolutely would answer the phone with no hesitations and be able to take orders and stuff properly without any training which is nice

BUT if someone called us asking for empty cardboard boxes or something stupid like that (which has actually happened) she would argue with them and then just hang up T-T

She should honestly be in a management position because she would be so good at that

Yosano has her ups and downs in vegetal retail. But regardless of all that, she would be like. The COOLEST coworker ever on god

Kouyou:

At first I'm not sure if she'd like a job like retail

She'd be like 'I'm really being paid minimum wage to cover my hands in rotten fruits and get verbally abused by pensioners?' (she's so right btw)

But she'd eventually get into the groove of things (probably just because she has nothing else do to) and would actually become quite good at it

She'd be good at organising, cleaning and sorting stuff out to make it look presentable

A respectful AND respectable queen who values neatness and maintains a good rapport with customers...except if they give the rest of her coworkers any shit. Then she's not maintaining as good of a rapport with customers

She's the kind of girl who would ABSOLUTELY talk shit about customers (and other coworkers ngl) in the back lmao

She would always wear gloves because she doesn't wanna get her hands dirty (I hc that Kouyou has perfectly manicured hands and does what she can to maintain them)

Would get frustrated easily though so we'd just have to try not to upset her as much as possible sksjkjfks

Gin:

I have this coworker who's not very talkative and can be a little awkward to talk to some times, but he's a literal godsend and does everything extremely quickly and to such a perfect degree that without him I am complete mess

THAT is Gin as my coworker

Also my coworker is like super nice as well and Gin would be really nice too lol

She would come off as frightening at first though. I get the feeling that a lot of customers wouldn't want to approach her lol

Might be lacking in confidence at first when she starts but she gets the hang of it quickly enough

Probably doesn't tie her hair up properly and is constantly asked about it by the manager

You would never have to ask her to do anything, she'd just be on top of it all and have everything ready

Would never answer the phone even if she were the only one there. She would probably freeze up and panic until someone else came and answered it for her (she really doesn't strike me as a phone person, because same)

Higuchi:

She is also doing her damned best and y'know what? Even if she continuously fucked up, I would forgive her

Even though I know Higuchi is actually very strong and accomplished she's still my favourite girlfailure and I love her

She's pretty good with customers but she would probably falter if one of them started getting mad at her or something (I would defend her guys)

A little bit clumsy, she might drop some things or her cuts might be a little janky, but like honestly the customers can DEAL with it. I feel like they wouldn't probably mind anyway because Higuchi is a pretty likeable person

Always sharing her snacks with her coworkers

Probably late to work a lot of the time but only by a couple minutes, and always makes up for it by staying behind after her shift ends (I wouldn't be surprised if the store actually ended up owing her some hours lol)

Really strong, so people are always getting her to help them lift/carry stuff

Leaves little encouraging/nice notes around for her coworkers because she's a sweetie <3

Naomi:

Naomi haters are gonna get so mad when I say that she'd be a brilliant coworker

We've seen how good at her agency job she is, why would retail be any different?

The best customer sweet-talker ever, would get herself and me out of any and all trouble and the manager would never ever know

Knows how to work all the machines and has memorised each of the numerical codes for each food like a walking dictionary (there's like five hundred of them fr)

Jun'ichiro sometimes visits the store to go shopping and that's the only real issue that Naomi has at work. She will drop everything to spend every second she can with her brother and it's honestly pretty annoying

If she gets overwhelmed she would forget how to do literally anything correctly and might have a bit of a panic moment

Dudes are probably trying to hit on her all the time and she might actually throw food at them I'm not kidding (and I would fully side with her)

She would also be so nice to her fellow coworkers and always encourage them :')

Lucy:

Lucy would consider this kind of work to be spectacularly easy compared to what she had going on in her orphanage and the Guild

Truly a testament to how absolutely shitty her life has been so far (sorry queen I could treat you better <3)

She's pretty good at everything, not perfect but generally quite good. An all-rounder, always getting called in on unscheduled days because she's just the go-to for everything lmao

Not that she would come in on those days, but yk

She would bring snacks for her coworkers but she would never admit it. She'd be like "You can have some if you want I don't care" while having entirely bought them for them lol

If a customer tries to strike up an argument with her or ask for something unreasonable, or try to guilt her into doing things for them (which is surprisingly common actually), they would FAIL

Would store extra stock in Anne's room (and would probably just keep rubbish from throughout the day in there to keep the kitchen clean, until the end of her shift when she can throw it out lol)

Alongside Gin she's EASILY the most valuable and helpful coworker (and also the cutest prettiest one <3)

Orientation:|Gay, Demiromantic| Doesn’t get romantically attached to people, with a few notable exceptions. He has never looked upon a woman with lust in his life and genuinely doesn’t understand the appeal (lol). He does understands the appeal of men but his fear of physical vulnerability tends to negate him acting on it.

Higuchi:

Orientation: |Bi| The Akutagawa’s were her bi awakening.

Chuuya:

Orientation: |Gay| Exclusively likes men. He was self-conscious about it (possibly with some self-loathing) when he was younger but then he met Albatross and the Flags, and they assured him it was cool (half of them were queer anyway). Since then, he’s been secure in his identity, but keeps pretty quiet about it as he’s a very internally guarded person who likes to keep his personal life private. Still, he won’t compromise for others’ comfort and can be quite outspoken if somebody’s making unsavory remarks—regardless of if they’re directed at him or not.

*Chuuya has a soft spot for the younger queer kids in the mafia and tries to subtly wingman for them. He’s like a brother figure to a lot of them and is more than willing to talk with them about their identity or offer comfort, regardless of how close they might be. (yes, in his own way he’s trying to pay forward what the Flags did for him.)

Tachihara:

Orientation: |Queer(pan)| Had never really given sexuality much thought and just assumed he was straight—and then he met Gin and was like ‘oh, guess not’. Since then, he has been more in touch with his sense of attraction.

Gin:

Gender: |Genderfluid, Demigirl| Mostly use neutral forms of expression/address, however, for as much gender euphoria that causes, they do get a bit antsy if they haven’t been able to express either of the binaries for a while. Conveniently their work/life balance lets them express their gender with relative ease, presenting femininely (and using feminine or neutral pronouns, though feminine is more common) while off work—and conversely presenting masculinely/androgynously while a work (and using neutral and masculine pronouns, though neutral ones are generally preferred). She doesn’t tell many people about her gender and often lets them assume —usually enjoying the mixed results and ambiguity—unless they are very close with her (so the Black Lizards and her brother know).

Mori: (When I was writing this, I told myself I wasn’t going to touch this one, but then I stared at his hairline too long and realized he would be wilding more interesting—to me specifically—if he was ace, so-)

Orientation: |Asexual, Demiromantic| Fascinated with sex and human sexuality to an almost fetishistic degree and is more than willing to exploit/abuse those attachments in others—he likes to watch the fallout and sadistically enjoys the exertion of his power. BUT, he doesn’t feel that kind of attraction himself, which may be a contributing factor to why he’s so interested in it.

He does, however rarely, feel romantic attraction. He’s had one(1) notable crush and its fucked with him ever since.

Kouyou:

Orientation: |Bisexual-sapphic| Despite (in the strictest sense of the term) being bi, she only entertains advances from women and will identify as lesbian if asked. She did have a notable romance with a man in her youth and while it was genuine attraction, it burned her forever—since then she has shunned the romantic advances of men. After that formative heartbreak all her entanglements have been sapphic in nature, but she’s still very wary of romance and ‘love’, so they have been few and far between; mostly consisting of short lived situationships.

↪ Although I personally love the headcanon of Atsushi and Ryuunosuke being roomates, I feel like the Akutagawa siblings would live together instead (because one of them is an overprotective brat)

↪ Ryuunosuke works in the Port Mafia Studios as a V-Tuber. No one knows of this, except for Gin and the Port Mafia company.

↪ Gin works as a V-Tuber designer for their customisable avatars. Her job is able to grant the two of them a small house near their university.

↪ The siblings go to Yokohama University, the one that most of the cast go to as well.

↪ Atsushi and Kyouka would live together and Kyouka would definitely cook because Atsushi probably has no idea how to / burned the kitchen down before in a pathetic attempt to. Most of the time they just have take-away.

↪ Kyouka loves crepes; every weekend Atsushi takes her to the local crepe café and they get the sweetest things known to humankind. Atsushi always ends up paying, though.

↪ That's also how they met Lucy M. Montgomery, a worker at the café. They find out that Lucy also goes to Kyouka's high school and sometimes, when Atsushi drives Kyouka to school, he picks up Lucy too.

↪ Lucy lives in a small house with Louisa and Poe. They both have important jobs working in the Fitzgerald Policy Bank, which is how they have so much money. However, Lucy wants to be more independent so she also has a job at a café to help pay off the bill as well.

↪ Poe mainly spends most of his time at home, all holed-up in his room, writing horror stories and mystery fanfiction. One time, Ranpo asked him to write a romance story and it actually blew up.

↪ Kouyou owns a small flower shop. Her adoptive son, Chuuya, sometimes helps out when he has time. Dazai, one of Chuuya's school-mates, one which he doesn't particularly like, once came into the shop looking rather lost. Chuuya had helped the brunette find a fitting bouquet of flowers, and they didn't speak of the incidence since.

↪ Kouyou worked at a preschool a long while ago, which is when she had met Kyouka. Other people that went to the preschool include Kenji, Kyouka, Elise, Q and Karma.

↪ Chuuya wants to be an actor and is in the same university as Dazai.

↪ Ango works in the Government and rarely goes home at all, being the workaholic he is, so usually his work college, Mizuki Tsujimura, has to take care of him.

↪ Oda used to own a bookstore called The Flawless Bookshop and had met Poe and Kunikida before through his occupation. They were regular customers who sometimes stopped by to chat with Oda. Now that Oda has passed away, Dazai manages the bookshop whenever he can.

↪ Kunikida would definitely be a maths teacher at a private school who specialises in algebra. He lives alone and his house is probably very organised and tidy.

↪ I feel like Dazai would be his very annoying neighbour that Kunikida tries to avoid at all costs (but obviously fails in).

↪ Dazai majors in Business Studies as well as Economics.

↪ Kenji helps out in An Encouragement of Learning by keeping everyone cheerful and marking the scores. Fukuzawa shows his appreciation by giving the boy glasses of milk whenever he drops by.

↪ Kenji actually lives with Chuuya and Kouyou and helps out with the flower shop whenever possible. Both Chuuya and Kouyou absolutely adore and treasure the blonde.

↪ Tachihara is a famous V-Tuber working under the company Port Mafia Studios. He lives with Higuchi and they go to the same university (Yokohama University).

↪ Usually, they bicker a lot. Tachihara and Higuchi had both had a slight, small (very insignificant) crush on Gin and strangely, they actually bonded over that.

↪ Higuchi likes eating Sakura Mochi and Cherry Blossom Dumplings. They, like Atsushi and Kyoka, go to the local crepe café to get the snacks. Tachihara and Higuchi split the payment are share the food.

↪ Several people have mistaken the pair as a couple, much to their amusement. Tachihara likes to jokingly flirt with Higuchi, and Higuchi likes to shoot pick up lines at the other. However, their relationship is purely platonic.

↪ Kajii is a lab scientist. He's basically the BSD Dottore equivalent. He locks himself in his lab all day to work on his projects and incoming reports. No one really knows much about him, except that he likes to talk really loudly and in complete, utter nonsense. He comes out of his lab-cave at night only to get a hot bowl of Chazuke.

↪ Paul and Arthur live together and both work under Port Mafia Studios. However, Arthur works in the economic part of the company and Paul works in the business part, like a spokesperson / ambassador (public speaking). They play chess on weekends and sometimes volunteer in the schools / community whenever they can.

↪ I don't know why, but I think Yosano would live with Ranpo and Fukuzawa and would be currently studying / getting a doctor degree.

↪ Ranpo and Yosano are seen as a sibling duo to their neighbours!

↪ Fukuzawa works in his office room all day, organising his small business on tutoring (An Encouragement of Learning). Ranpo likes to assist whenever he can by getting small treats for him.

↪ Mori owns the company Port Mafia Studios. He spends lots of money on people who design the avatars. Elise even gets her own avatar because she thought they looked really cool.

↪ Hirotsu works in the Port Mafia Studios, doing most of the paperwork and managing the connections. He thinks it's quite a boring job, but it's nice to see different recruits and get to know them.

↪ Higuchi is almost like a privately hired scout for Port Mafia Studios. She finds people that fit into the requirement for V-Tubers.

↪ The Tanizaki siblings live in the same apartment complex as Fukuzawa, Ranpo and Yosano. Naomi works at the same café as Lucy and I have a feeling Junichirou would work in The Flawless Bookshop. Junichiro also works part-time in a tutoring company called An Encouragement of Learning.

↪ They enjoy going to the local park often together. Sometimes when the evening is warm, the siblings get ice cream together. Naomi's favourite flavour is strawberry or taro and Junichirou likes vanilla or mango best. Sometimes, they even see Kenji, Kyouka, Elise, Q and Karma in the playground and wave to the little group as they pass.

↪ Fyodor, Sigma, Nikolai, Bram and Mushitarou live together. I really like the idea of combining the two groups together and how singularly, their energy is kind of muted, which together, they would all be a chaotic mess.

↪ They all share one house. Their neighbours often file complaints about how much yelling would come from the house on Saturday evenings, when the five would play card games / poker. The complaints got so bad that Kenji had to literally knock onto their door (only to get a goofy clown in his face).

↪ The Hunting Dogs minus Fukuchi and Tachihara (aka Teruko, Jouno and Tecchou) reside on the university campus. They love practicing Martial Arts in their backyard and sometimes they help out with the community. Other times, they go along their street with hand-baked cookies and offering a packet to each household.

↪ Jouno and Tecchou cannot cook nor bake. Teruko enjoys being able to feel helpful and also able teach them something new, as she takes Food Tech and Studies, as well as Maths.

↪ Jouno and Tecchou both take English, although I feel like Jouno would take Geography as well and Tecchou would take History, too.

↪ Aya Koda and Bram randomly met at the local park one fateful evening. It was a rather comical first-impression; Bram was swinging on a kids' playground swing and Aya and Q wanted to go on. The two had an intense staring match with a lot of yelling and Q screaming in the background.

↪ Now, Aya and Bram go to arcades on weekends. Q sometimes tags along with them and they spend all of Fyodor's bank credits on plushies and the like.

↪ There isn't much known about Shibusawa either, like Kajii. The man usually just stays in a university dorm on campus, but he studies Fashion Design Tech and is really good at it, especially the designing part of the criteria.

↪ Dazai claims to see Shibusawa and Fyodor at an ice rink together once. He reckons they were professional skaters and told everyone who would listen that he joined them. Nothing is really known about that recount.

Teen Chuuya and Dazai in PM meetings playing increasingly intense games of footsie where they progressively kick harder and their banter gets louder.

They keep knocking the table, and it bounces and disrupts everything, but Mori and Kouyou are tired of telling them to stop. It only lasts so long when they do. So everyone has elected to ignore it. To pretend the two teens aren't in the room.

The others won't even ask the teens questions. Not that it matters, with how angry Chuuya looks, he probably isn't even paying enough attention to the meeting to even remember what topic their on now.

Dazai is probably listening, but asking him would mean giving him a chance to work Chuuya up with snide comments slipped into his answers and again, its not worth it. They'll just ask him later, if they can catch him before he can challenge Chuuya to acrade games in their totally-not-a-date- date or Lupin with Ango and Oda.

Kouyou has learned to hold her wine instead of setting it down because its gotten knocked over and stained one too many of her favorite kimonos.

Mori has learned to speak up, in preparation for when Chuuya inevitably misses a few too many kicks and starts shouting. He used to try to wait it out, but he's learned if he just waits for him to stop they'd be here for hours and Mori's a busy man with things to do and people to see.

And anyway, he promised Elise they'd go for crepes in and hour an the shop closes soon. How else is he supposed to get her in to go shopping for dresses if he doesn't stop for sweets first?

He really only has so much time to spare for this.

Elise, of whom has all together given up on even sitting at the table after one too many of her drawings were ruined by her hand going awry when the table jumps.

Tachihara Michizou- Marvel. He prefers the MCU over the DC shows and movies.

Gin Akutagawa- Marvel but only because of the older X-Men cartoons. She does like Raven quite a bit though.

Kouyou Ozaki- DC. While she does like Marvel quite a bit she likes DC's characters more.

Yumeno Kyousaku(Q)- DC but only because of Raven. She doesn't care what it is as long as Raven is in it.

Akutagawa gets into staring contests with small children, and nearly had a heart attack when one smiled at him instead of quickly looking away or crying. Gin was unable to get a picture which she regrets everyday. He looked absolutely SHOOK

Dark Era Dazai did not know how to tie a tie when he first joined the mafia so he had to get help from hirotsu, who was annoyed that dazai had been wearing a Velcro tie

Chuuya was put under kouyous care when he first joined the mafia and because of that he learned to take care of plants. Dazai would never once miss an opportunity to tease him if he caught Chuuya watering his plants

Ranpo gets walked to work by a school kid who is interested in true crime. Before they goes to school they will leave their house early to walk Ranpo to work, and they will talk about the cases Ranpo has solved. Because they walk him there before they leave for school, Ranpo gets to the agency early. Before the kid started walking him to school ranpo would show up to work around lunch, so Ranpo getting to work before kunikida threw him off his schedule

Dazai has hidden under the agency couch to scare kunikida but ended up getting stuck. They found him when they called him and his phone rang from under the couch. Kenji had to pick up the couch and move it. The agency does not speak of this incident

while yosano may be the ada’s doctor, kenji somehow works as the ada‘s therapist. Once when atsushi was having a breakfown questioning his own worth, kenji calmed him down by talking to him about the different animals in the village where kenji lived. He once made atsushi cry when he said that his family would like him.

jounou has a favourite(he won’t admit) person who happens to be a small child he saved and they called him amazing and almost everything else in the book and just continuously fed he ego. Their voice also wasn’t too annoying

Tecchou is very concentrated on whats going on in the meetings when he’s doing push-ups his brain just forgets everything that happened the second someone asks
