The real danger of home ownership is £72 lampshades
#Would never in a million years have considered it whilst renting#But now......... It's actually my space to make nice#And it would go perfectly in my bed room where there is currently a masked bulb for ceiling light#And it's from an independent company and it genuinely is very pretty it's got a print of a painting of a shipwreck across it#And my room is dark blue and white so it'd fit so well#Might treat myself when I get my bonus in a few months although we've been told already it won't be as good as last year#And I want to put the bulk of it to a sofa#I oscillate between I can only have deals from charity shops/fb market place and what if I bought a small yet incredibly expensive item

This video is currently on the trending page, so some of you may have already seen it, but it is definitely a valuable one to check out.
It discusses how the majority of returns very quickly end up in landfills, with very little attempt to resell perfectly good/unused items because it costs the corporation more money.
Hoping people become more conscious consumers, and hope this can encourage people to only buy things they fully intend to use (instead of buying multiple sizes of an item online to try on), because unfortunately, these items are not being sold to another customer who will want it.
I'm sharing this on my cosplay blog because thanks to cosplay I have started to learn more about what goes into making clothing, how to repair clothing and how to upcycle thrifted items, not only into cosplays but into casual clothes I'm excited to wear. I hope that with more people aware of this, we can start reducing the amount of products ending up in landfills. Treasure the things you own and reduce the amount of things you buy new as much as you can!! 🙏🙏🙏
#also: THIS IS NOT JUST ONLINE!#even returning an item to the store you bought it from may mean it's getting bulk shipped to a return processing center#climate town#consumerism#pollution#fashion industry#electronics#fuck amazon#Youtube

theres definitely like. in my fantasy Earth w the varients of people from my last rb. tailoring and custom clothing are way more commonplace, even going into the modern era post industrial revolutions. theres just too many ways people look, too many individual ways to Be. most places will have quite a few tailors and sewers and dressmakers, all easy to find and more affordable since demand is generally higher. clothing that fits and has the right spaces for your tails and wings and horns and arms and everything is a Need in that world, not a luxury. and sewing and altering and making patterns and drafting clothing that works and looks and feels nice is hard!!!!! custom clothing is accesible and normal in my little fantasy world
#not that it should be a luxury irl either#in my world there is definitely cheaper items that are made in bulk. nkt by companies but by smaller people#definitely stores and booths and pop ups where someone is selling their stuff that is all exclusively premade. not uncommon at All#which is why alterations are still in need. alongside people growing and naturally changing and getting clothes from others ofc#i like to imagine a world where fast fashion never existed and never will lmao#ocs

I think RDR2 is a better open world experience than Elden Ring because Elden Ring leans a little too much into the player happening to stumble across things. there’s something to be said about a game that is constantly telling the player where to go being too much, but Elden Ring ends up being the complete opposite where it points you in the right direction and tells you nothing else. side quests are very hard to do because NPCs just fuck off to who knows where. are they optional? yes. should the player have to comb the entire map to figure out the next step in a questline because there’s no way of knowing where - or who - they’re supposed to meet next? I certainly wasn’t a fan of it.
#so says Indy#Indy and video games#I am also a fan of quest markers because if I don't play the game for more than one week I will forget everything I was doing#a game that tells you nothing is fine if you play the game constantly#and I did in fact play both Elden Ring and RDR2 constantly#Elden Ring's story is also so... vague and barely mentioned that I don't even know what it was#and all the lore and some of the story details are in item descriptions#which is a weird way to approach storytelling imo#even weirder is when hardcore fans will be like 'x story thing was OBVIOUS you just had to read y description!'#like why would anyone expect the main bulk of the story to be delivered in the item descriptions as opposed to the gameplay?

Results of Science -- Victor can Copypasto both animal treats and herbalism potions. . .but NOT Smiler's Chatterbots. The only option that comes up on them is "Inferniate." Seems like those will have to be made by hand. Still, two out of three isn't bad, and I had Victor spend quite a lot of time Copypastoing the treats and the potions to help with filling up the shelves.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Alice was continuing her adventures into milk processing with flavored milks (both single bottles and whole crates of chocolate milk), while Smiler started getting their apothecary on! As they were new to the skill and only had a limited number of ingredients on them, they ended up spamming the Synthetic Food Tablets. The animation for actually making the tablets is a little weirdly glitchy at the end (for some reason, Smiler kept turning around and facing the wrong way to react to the final shower of sparks), but it produces a nice-looking product -- I like that these bottles have proper Simlish labels! Great work, Simsonian, seriously.
Anyway -- production continued as the day wore on (occasionally naked, as you can see) -- Smiler made a few more tablets of synthetic food; Alice continued making flavored milks and various sauces; and Victor Copypastoed his way into being a Virtuoso spellcaster! :D I promptly got him the Insightful Eye (increasing experimenting and practicing speeds), Knowledge Is Magic (he reads and does things on the computer faster, and gets magical XP from them), and Frugal Combination (when he makes potions, all ingredients may not be consumed) perks, and let him take a break with a nice Deliciosoed plate of mac and cheese. :D This store is already profitable and we haven't even opened yet!
However, all that copying and pasting had left Victor feeling a bit charged up, so I figured it was time for him to change tactics and do something else -- namely, make custard! I THOUGHT he was going to go downstairs to do that, but nope, he chose to use the employee break room instead. I was initially annoyed until I discovered that making custard doesn't require a Sim to use the stove -- the stuff is just poured straight into the jar. So Victor wasn't about to go wandering up and down stairs in that way that Sims do when the AI gets confused about what activities should happen where (like when they decide to use a sink on an entirely different floor to wash their hands after using the bathroom). I decided I was fine with that and kept having him make custard...
#sims 4#the lazy save#victor van dort#alice liddell#smiler always#I'm really curious as to what determines if an item is eligible for Copypasto or not#because the various Cottage Living canned goods are#but the bulk processed food is not#the herbalism potions are#the robots are not#like what is the secret here#I am confuzzled and want answers#also learned something else confusing - you apparently can't put spinach in a retail fridge#or at least my game wouldn't let me do it#I dunno if that's just something in Sims or something weird going on with one of my mods#at any rate I've now got that BrazenLotus mod that allows you to put fish and herbs in retail fridges#so if spinach is tagged as an 'herb' for some reason maybe that'll fix it *shrug*#but yes Victor abused Copypasto so much he became the best spellcaster XD#hey I am not complaining at all#just so long as he doesn't die from overload we are all good#queued

A Gift That Speaks Professionalism & Creativity
Gifting is an art of expressing emotions through presents, and when it comes to corporate gifting, it’s all about making the right impression. A well-thought-out gift not only shows appreciation but also reflects how a company values its personnel and perceives them.
Whether it’s for employees, clients, or business associates, a gift chosen with careful consideration should balance professionalism and creativity. And what better way to achieve this than with 3D crystal cube gifts—a unique blend of beauty and innovation?
Why Corporate Gifting Matters
Corporate gifting isn’t just a formality; it’s a powerful way to build relationships. A great gift can make employees feel valued, strengthen business connections, and leave a lasting impression of kindness in the hearts of recipients. But not all gifts carry the same impact.
Standard office supplies or generic gift baskets might not connect to the soul as much as something truly special. That’s why choosing the right corporate gift items is not a cup of tea for everyone.
The Perfect Balance Of Professionalism & Creativity
A corporate gift should never feel like a mere formality. It should align with your company’s brand while also considering an innovative approach. When professionalism meets creativity, the result is a gift that stands out.
This is where 3D crystal cube gifts come in. These personalized, laser-etched crystal cubes capture and preserve delicate designs, logos, or even a person’s image inside a beautifully crafted glass structure. They are stylish and smooth, looking like a luxury art piece—making them a perfect choice for business gifting.
Why 3D Crystal Cube Gifts Make An Impact
A Unique & Personalized Touch
No one wants a generic gift that ends up collecting dust. A 3D crystal cube can be customized with a company logo, a special message, or even a 3D image of an individual or product. Even an employee's photo can be etched inside! The level of personalization adds immense value and makes the recipient feel truly special.
Timeless and Elegant
Unlike perishable gifts or trendy gadgets that lose relevance over time, crystal cubes are timeless. They never fade or lose their charm. The magic of 3D crystal artwork lies in its sophisticated look, ensuring it fits perfectly into any office space, making it a lasting memory that stays close to the heart.
Perfect for Every Occasion
Whether you’re looking for bulk corporate gifts for your team or a few exclusive pieces for top executives, 3D crystal cubes are suitable for various occasions—employee recognition, business anniversaries, or even festive gifting.
Highly Professional Yet Personal
The beauty of these gifts is that they are suitable for any occasion and any person. In the corporate culture, they maintain the perfect balance between professionalism and innovation. When given to hardworking personnel, these crystal masterpieces make them feel more connected to the company, seeing them as a token of appreciation and success.
Bulk Corporate Gifts: A Smart Investment
For businesses looking to gift in large numbers, bulk corporate gifts are the way to go. When ordered in bulk, 3D crystal cube gifts can be customized efficiently, ensuring consistency while reducing costs. They also save businesses from the hassle of choosing different gifts for different people.
Ordering in bulk ensures you have a stock of gifts ready for future occasions, whether it’s onboarding new employees, rewarding top performers, or celebrating big achievements with clients.
How to Choose the Right 3D Crystal Cube Gift
Consider the Recipient
While a 3D crystal cube is versatile enough to suit any recipient, personalization makes a huge difference. Think about what would be meaningful to the recipient—perhaps their name, an achievement, or a memorable date.
Size & Design Matter
Crystal cubes come in various sizes and designs. For executive gifts, a larger, more detailed cube might be ideal. For general appreciation gifts, a minimalist design can work best.
Branding with Elegance
Corporate gifts should subtly represent your brand without feeling overly promotional. Adding your company’s logo (not too large) along with a motivational message is a great way to do this. To make it even more meaningful, personalize the message by appreciating the employee’s unique qualities or contributions.
Where To Find The Best Corporate Gift Items
If you’re looking for corporate gift items that make a lasting impact, Crystal Crafts offers a wide range of stunning 3D crystal cube gifts. Known for their quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, Crystal Crafts ensures that each piece is made to perfection.
Whether you need a single customized piece or bulk corporate gifts, they provide solutions that fit your budget and brand identity.
Conclusion
Corporate gifting is more than just an exchange of presents—it’s a statement. A thoughtful gift speaks volumes about your company’s values and the way you treat your employees and clients. If you want your gift to leave a lasting impact, choose something that blends professionalism with creativity.
3D crystal cube gifts are the perfect choice—they are timeless, elegant, and classy. So, the next time you plan to appreciate your team or impress a client, go for a gift that goes beyond mere formalities.
Choose Crystal Crafts for corporate gifting that truly makes an impact!

my dad did go grocery shopping and managed to find some goat cheddar 🥳
#i would pay good money to watch this 70 year old man trying to find the logic in the grocery store layout#why are there 3 different cheese sections? because there are#the real answer is that the fancy deli counter cheese is front & centre right when you walk in to capitalize on impulse shopping#the organic/vegan cheeses are in the health food section so they're easy to find for customers who shop that section#and then the bulk of the cheese is in the dairy fridges at the far end of the store so that when you do your regular perimeter sweep#you grab your refrigerated/frozen items last before heading to the checkout#but would that make sense to my father who goes into a grocery store on average once a decade?#not in the slightest
