Got my 600. I feel like I'm in the minority, but I've been having fun with Pinch-Out. I like that the risks are more incremental now, I enjoy testing and tuning things across those jumps. I appreciate how there's more room for exploitable contracts too, like +ASPD or +SP cost.

I also like that taking all the contracts at is unwinnable. It means that you still get the signature CC experience of picking-and-choosing contracts, even at the high end of things. That got lost when max risks runs were possible.

That said, I admit the +1000% HP R-11 option is silly. I can see they were going for a Faust-style challenge, but stalling forever is no fun. It would've been better to have something like HP drain or decaying defences to make the robots "self-destruct" by the time the map is over.

That so many people are inflicting it upon themselves is also a design problem. It's not even in the top 5 worst stalls I've seen in CC, but it seems too much like it's available as an "easy" path to more points that people will suffer through for the extra score. (Maybe because it's not mechanically intolerable, but just takes forever?)

Still, I don't begrudge them trying out something weirder, particularly when this is their "experimental" version. I think they've found a decent number of ways to improve the CC formula, even if some of them still need to be refined.
