What would u say r your favorite bugsnax ships and/or dynamics ?

OOGHSJJSDFSDH THE SHIPS AND DYNAMICS,, I have a hard time choosing a favorite ship when it comes to bugsnax, but Wigglefunny Lottaham and Snorplo have a very special place in my heart. All the canon couples I love like, so much. I also really like Beffica and Floofty as a ship! I wish they had more interactions in game tbh. I think those two would have an interesting relationship The ship dynamics are probably my favorite dynamics, but the the non-romantic ones make me giggle as well. Gramble and Wambus being mortal enemies is so funny, purely from the fact that they are the shortest and tallest characters in the game (Wambus my brother in christ, you could literally punt Gramble) Also the relationship with Journalist and Filbo is so CUTE. Filbo is a doormat of a man, but he's so sweet and silly I love him sm. The whole scene with him reading a letter over your shoulder is so funny. He's just trying his best, and we're like the only person who can choose to be nice to him. I also personally think they would make a sweet ship. I am a sucker for silly goofy little couples

Yall i had this amazing dream that Bugsnax got like a huge update, and it looked so good and there was more grumpuses and MORE snacks and i was so happy. There was even something like 'Uncle jumblebeard' or whatever and it was a new grumpus that was Floofty's and Snorpy's biological uncle. Or secret quests in the journal and one was named 'Floofty's head'.. Or damn "you dont fight a cactus" Idk what it meant but it even had a little icons next to it.

Round 3 Match 2: Wambus VS. Queen

Wambus Troubleham, a simple, hardworking farmer with a strong sense of responsibility, who’s stubborn and short tempered. Usually pretty tough and likely to stick to his guns. Has a smooth, deep, cowboy-esc voice. However, he’s also oddly pathetic at times. His main plot involves constantly attempting and failing to figure out how to grow more of the creatures known as bugsnax, quickly gets desperate and frustrated as time goes on. He also has marital problems, his wife leaving after a rough patch between them. He ends up missing her so much he makes a cactus facsimile of her.

Queen, a sentient computer and this tournament's Girl Sexyman. Not Sexywoman. There's a difference. She's the benevolent ruler of her dark world, except also sorta not because she's willing to possess the civilians she cares less about in order to fulfill her goal of making sure a reindeer girl is happy. She Has A. Very Particular Way Of: Speaking, and has a constantly memetic and over the top personality where nearly everything she says is highly quotable. She's also referred to as Girl Dad by the random child (main character) she found then basically adopted.

(This is a silly one, but,) Ichika's cactus is sentient. She'll see it's moved while she wasn't home, see its flowers waggle yes or no, and she just thinks it is haunted. That cactus is the first conscious cactus and it adores being taken on band trips /silly

Made a really big rant on wambus in my friends discord server, wanted to share it;

I wanna do a really big info dump on Wambus and Triffany's relationship and also talk about Wambus himself cuz he's pretty cool and I'm really fixated on him now... so:

I think a lot about Wambus tbh. Lemme explain. I feel like that's why he's so attached to Triffany, and everytime she doesn't come back for days and nights on end you can see it in the beginning of this game he just has this gut feeling that she's not coming back for him. I'll say it once and I'll say it again, wambus did not cheat on triffany with the cactus. cactriffy was created because of Wambus' unstable emotional attachment to Triffany.

When Triffany doesn't come back for awhile, rather instead of bottling his feelings up and exploding one day on her way random he tries to talk to the cactus about it. Cactriffy is a type of coping mechanism for him to deal with his abandonment he feels like he facing. Wambus is stubborn though, a crucial part to his character yes, but Triffany is too and I believe that is what many people in the fandom forget. He didn't cheat on her, she didn't cheat on him, all that happened was that they were both too set in their ways and hobbies to apologize to one another.

I feel like what people in the fandom also don't consider is that Triffany held her stakes *way* too high for Wambus. She expect so much of him it seemed, and it can probably come from her whole ordeal she has to be like her grandmother and such. They both have expectations they've tailed to live up too, and have different ways of coping with it. Triffany's way however seems to be staying away from humanity, more comfortable with intimate objects. Wambus is too, but he also misses feels like he failed Triffany so much he can't be forgiven, he can't be believed in anymore.

Speaking of not feeling he can be believed him anymore, I feel like this fandom tends to ignore his death voices lines. Wambus DIES thinking he is a failure, the others do not. His death is unique because it points out something about him: He was so set in his beliefs, he didn't realize Triffany loved him. And the truth is? It's because she didn't show it as much as she should. The whole reason why Triffany plans to grow a garden of all his favorite plants and such is because now the failure has shifted to her. She's now realized she's failed him not only as a wife but as a friend too.

With this next part I'm stepping into a bit of theoretical theory, but when watching @doomedpuppetyuri replay bugsnax, it had shown me a few times where Wambus was often mistreated by the cast. Take for the beginning party for example, I am always extremely infuriated by how people make such a joke of it. When Gramble says to Wambus "you don't know a thing about love, that's why your wife left you" it feels like an assumption. Triffany did *NOT* in any way leave Wambus, there a difference between packing up your things and leaving someone behind us. A stubborn personality getting in the way of an apology. They were not divorced in anyway or how, they were simply doing their own thing to handle their lives. Another thing I've noticed is Gramble often brings up Wambus a lot more than Wambus brings up Gramble. People forget that Wambus never starts the arguments, he is easily agitated. He doesn't speak much either. Same thing with the whole idea people have where Wambus threw cromdo out of spite or something. Cromdo, like the man he is but no hate to cromdo I love him probably agitated Wambus in some way that made him do that, and a small detail too is that in the DLC, Floofty has picked on Wambus too once (stating, Wambus doesn't trut Floofty since the 'Noodler Incident')

(And also I just wanna say no hate to any other characters I mention in this I've just noticed this about their relationship with Wambus.)

Wambus' emotions are their own topic themselves, because people often forget he's grumpy all the time, people make him grumpy. He's easily able to change his mood depending on what he's exposed to from other Grumps, and it feels like the some of other Grumps aren't nice to him. But Wambus is also at fault here sightly, because he's not the best at handling criticism and such, his mood can often change. Take the first scene where we meet Wambus for example: due to his stubborn qualities, when Filbo says something (accidentally) it provokes Wambus to be more hostile towards him. However, you can tell he is regretful. He is regretful when he apologizes to Filbo, Gramble, and Triffany.

Anyways I hope you enjoyed this has probably been my longest ramble ever on wambus troubleham 💔💔

Wambus has got to be one of the funniest Bugsnax characters. Hes a grown man. Hes everyones babygirl. He has personal beef with a guy half his age and half his size. He replaced his wife with a cactus. The Spuddy Quest. He gets harassed by Bungers. He hoes the exact same spot in his garden all day every day and gains absolutely no progress.

I used to not really care for Wambus but im slowly starting to get why everyone loves every single character in this game

There are three things that I feel like we brush over when it comes the bugsnax lore

1. Bugsnax with hats. Most likely this has nothing to it but how did they get hats??? Do they steal the hats from the grumps like how that do to Chandlo in the DLC trailer or do they just come out the ground with them?

2. Cactriffany the haunted cactus. Need I say more

3. Triffany’s gifting us a 20 FOOT TALL GRUMPUS SKELETON like bro where did she get that????

•I am so sorry, but I feel like they would elope; run away in secret to go get married. Probably out of fear that the citizens in their area wouldn’t accept a cowboy marrying a goth girl

•Triffany loves dinosaurs, and wambus loves sharks. Sometimes, they’ll infodump to the other about their favorite creature :3

•Wambus is the kind of person to need a reason to trust you. Triffany however, is the kind of person to need a reason to NOT trust you.

•Okay, alright— If wambus gets to have a cactus named cactriffy, then Triffany gets to have a scarecrow named scambie. >:D

•Sometimes, Wambus will snatch triffany’s hat and hide it somewhere so triffany will stay longer before she goes off into scorched gorge.

•Once a week, they’ll bathe/shower together, either in flavor falls, or sugarpine woods (after replaying the game, I noticed there was like- a small body of water in sugarpine woods). It’s more peaceful, secluded, and they get to be with each other.

•(Heheh) sometimes, when they’re mad at each other, they’ll be sitting with their backs turned at each other like they’re a pair of pissed off toddlers. But then once they calm down, to check if the other is calmed enough, they’ll touch tails. If they’re both calm, then their tails intertwine! If one of them is still a little upset tho, they’ll both stay there for a couple more minutes.

•Wambus will sometimes go with Triffany to her dig sight, but in some cases, a small conflict will occur. Not between them! But when you got not 1, but 2 aggressive bugsnaxs (looking at you spuddy and scorpino) in the same part of the island, it’s hard to avoid them. So half the time, he either gets rammed into by a spuddy, burnt by a scorpino, or in an unlucky case? BOTH. They both find it funny tho, and they get a laugh out of it

Sometimes, when the night just feels special, they’ll go and stargaze in simmering springs. Cuddling with each other, watching all of the shimmering stars in the sky…it’s a beautiful experience for the two of them.

I think that those little “what fictional couple is your oc x canon ship based on” memes are very cute but I don’t know if I could ever do one given that to be fully honest I would have to admit that Kris and Karl are Wambus and Triffany from Bugsnax.
