Also the bug I wanna talk about is this guy

These are giant isopods aka deep-sea isopods, while technically a group of about 20 species they are generally referred to as one species due to similarities. They can get up to 20 inches long and are technically edible but have little meat to them. They pose no threat to humans other than some species causing minor damage to nets for commercial fishing vessels. The individual species generally resemble each other but can be separated by various morphological features, notably the number (7–13) and shape (straight or upturned) of the spines on the pleotelson ("tail"), shape (simple or bifid) of the central spine on the pleotelson, and the shape and structure of the uropods and pereopods.

My partner is so unbelievably wonderful and we've been talking a lot about the future. It feels so easy with them. They make these things seem doable, like I can actually get there and be happy. I love the way he talks about our future home, too. He and I are so dedicated to making a home out of wherever we end up, but he's especially excited to get a place with a yard for a garden and a dog and our future kids to play in. Late night fire pits and cozy summer hammocks. I love the world they're creating with me. I wouldn't ask for anyone else to paint it with.
