(Douma x Follower!Reader)

Every evening, your glorious Founder and Leader of the Eternal Paradise cult would visit you personally. Now, in the beginning, you believed your leader is a celibate and holy being. But now you know that your lover is anything but.

He’s a man-eating, demonic creature. You caught him in during one of his meals, but instead of running away from this monster, you were intrigued. Your Lord Founder was a true monster, a demon wearing a mask of emotions.

From that day on, your Lord Founder was enchanted by you. You are such a cute little human, not being scared by him at all. Perhaps he should keep you around for his own entertainment and to see how far he can push you until you break.

Douma always barges into your bedroom without knocking or a warning. He is oblivious to your sense of privacy or personal space. Whenever he has time, Douma will be around you and maybe even on you. He’ll whine when you try to struggle out of his inhumane grip and pout when you push him away.

He will coddle you in front of his other followers too, not minding their surprised or even disgusted faces. They don’t approve of their Lord Founder being so affectionate and non-celibate behaviour. If he lied about being celibate, what else is he lying about?

Douma would make you to sit near him during his sermons, petting your head and hair while he speaks. You’re supposed to your head against his thigh, sitting near the edge of his cushion by Douma’s wishes. But instead of doing this to belittle you by making you sit by his feet, Douma’s intention was to seat you closer to his followers so they can worship you properly.

He will talk about your (nonexistent) healing properties your touch has, and how when you touch Douma, he feels so blessed and cleansed. He will preach about how you were sent to him my Buddah himself to one day lead him to his own Eternal Paradise. Douma will talk all day about what a true blessing you are.

But when you two are alone, Douma will worship you in private. Him talking about you being personally send by the gods and being a blessing are things he believes with every cell in his body, and he’ll remind you about how much he adores and loves you. You’re so perfect to him.

Douma will coddle you, cover you in kisses and small biting marks everywhere, cuddling you and letting all his cuteness aggressions out on you.

“My darling, my blessing! Don’t leave, I’m not done kissing you yet!! Come back!”

Sanemi Shinazugawa x injured reader

"Fuck, fuck, FUCK!" Sanemi presses his hand firmly to your stomach to stem the bleeding. "Not you. Not you too. You're not fucking leaving me, understand?"

His heart is pounding in his chest, his blood running cold. The demon who injured you is already dead, but if it wasn't Sanemi would kill it all over again and again and again. How fucking dare that monster do this to you? He wants to tear it apart.

"Talk to me. Say something, goddamn it." His voice cracks as he begs you. 

You're barely clinging to consciousness as you reach up and caress his face, accidentally smearing your blood across his cheek. "'Nemi… it's okay."

"No it's not fucking okay, moron."

And then you pass out, and he realizes those are the last words he may ever say to you. 

It's his fault. All of it. 

If he'd fought harder, been firmer with you about you staying home for this mission, taken out both demons instead of trusting you to deal with one of them. If only if only if only. 

Sanemi's life has been plagued with if onlys. He presses his forehead to yours and prays. Who he is praying to, he has no idea… you, the gods, Buddah, death itself… anyone who'll listen.

"Please, please, please. Not you. Not you." 

Hot tears roll down his cheeks as he keeps applying pressure to your wound. His kasugai crow is on its way to bring help. All he can do is hold in your guts and plead.

"Don't leave me alone."

He puts his cheek against yours so his lips are by your ear. "I'll marry you. I'll treat you like goddamn royalty. I'll do anything, just stay. Stay with me." His voice breaks. "Stay. With. Me. Please!"

He doesn't let go. Even when the medical squad comes to help, he keeps the pressure on your wound until they pull him off. And then he holds your hand. He holds it the entire way to the butterfly mansion. He holds it as they operate and put you in a bed to recover, as the doctors come and tell him things he can't understand. All he cares about is whether or not you'll survive. 

Why won't you wake up??

It doesn't matter if you have to rest for months: he'll take care of you while you're bedridden and make sure you take your medicines exactly on time. It doesn't matter if you'll struggle with training for a while: he'll kick your ass all the way through rehab and make you even stronger. He'll change dressings, cook, clean, anything. 

Just…

"Come back to me," he whispers, holding your hand to his forehead as the sun sets on the fifteenth day of your coma. "Wake up, please." 

He's sleeping when you finally do.

Your vision slowly refocuses to find him resting his head on the bed beside your arm, his hand still wrapped around yours. He stirs as you run your fingers through his fluffy white hair, a faint, sleepy smile curving his lips before he snaps back to consciousness and bolts upright.

The force with which he hugs you damn near knocks you into another coma. 

"Don't do that again," he whispers. "You hear me?"

It hurts, but you smile. "I love you too."

He buries his face against your neck and holds you tight, unwilling to ever let you slip away again.

What if Conqueror's Haki was Personalized?

To elaborate, this basically is just wondering "what if conqueror's haki didn't just scare off/knock out everyone around you and its specific effects depended on the users personality" and showing off the ones i came up with

Luffy's makes people incredibly giggly and unable to focus on what it is they're SUPPOSED to be doing

Doflamingo's puts people in a more suggestible headspace where they're more willing to listen to him

Shank's makes you feel basically drunk- woozy with blurry vision and unable to stay upright

Not as concrete on this one, but Sengoku's pacifying people to tie with his Buddah theming?

Zoro gets to keep the "normal" conqueror's haki- he'd totally be the kinda guy to just either make people run away or pass out from sheer terror

Today We Honor Phyllis Hyman

Phyllis Linda Hyman was an American singer-songwriter and actress, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania July 6, 1949. She was best known for her singles from the late 1970s through the early 1990s including: You Know How to Love Me, Living All Alone, and Don’t Wanna Change the World.

She performed on a national tour with the group, New Direction. Later she joined All the People while working with another group, The Hondo Beat. She made her acting debut in 1974 in the film Lenny. Hyman also led a group called Phyllis Hyman and the P/H Factor.

Hyman’s debut solo album named Phyllis Hyman was released in 1977 on Buddah Records. When Arista Records bought Buddah Records, she transferred to the new label and released four albums: Somewhere in My Lifetime (1979), You Know How to Love Me (1979), Can’t We Fall in Love Again? (1981), and Goddess of Love (1983).

She also performed on Broadway in the musical, Sophisticated Ladies, the tribute play for Duke Ellington. For that work, she received a Tony Award, nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, and won a Theatre World Award for Best Newcomer.

In 1983 Hyman recorded the song “Never Say Never Again” for the James Bond movie of the same name which starred Sean Connery but the song she recorded couldn’t be used for the movie soundtrack due to legal reasons. In 1986 Hyman released the album, Living All Alone, on the Philadelphia International label. She also appeared in the movies, Too Scared to Scream (1985), Spike Lee’s School Daze (1988), and The Kill Reflex (1989).

In 1991 Phyllis Hyman released the album, The Prime of My Life, on Philadelphia International, which was the biggest album of her career. It included her first number-one R&B hit as well her first Billboard Top 100 hit, Don’t Wanna Change the World. The album, her last released while she was alive, was certified gold by 1992.

I couldn't think of headcanons so I hope you don't mind this drabble!

The moment he finds out you're missing, he is tearing apart the heavens and earth to find where you are, maybe not literally but he's no longer as chill or peaceful as he usually is because WHOEVER TOOK HIS BELOVED DAUGHTER IS GOING TO PAY. Each day that goes by he becomes angrier, each hour that passes he becomes more anxious, and each second that you are not with him leave him in despair that he didn't do better to ensure your safety. When he finds out it was someone who belonged to the Underworld, he doesn't care if its not his domain, he is entering regardless of what any diety says because YOU are down there. When he finds you and sees what they've turned you into, his emotions blind him and he makes sure nothing remains. Yes, he knows that he's pissed off a few Underworld Gods but he doesn't care, in fact, he'd even go as far to fight them because they couldn't keep their puny subjects under control.

The aftermath depends on what you're like after it happens:

If you're still you, just a bit more demonic looking, Buddha will still love you. He holds you and he apologizes and tries to hold back tears as you sob into his chest and cling to him. He'll take you back home and he'll help you adjust to your new appearance as a demon, still giving you unconditional love even while you're horrified to see your face. On the more positive side, this causes you to trust Buddha and only Buddha. You are too anxious to leave his side and too scared you might get taken. He smiles as he pats your head because this just means you'll never leave your dear father figure.

If you've become evil or corrupt, Buddha doesn't have it in his heart to hurt you even if you aren't...you, anymore. He refuses to accept that fact and he will bring you back home whether you like it or not. He will lock you somewhere and desperately try to make you remember who you are, his lovely and kind daughter. All while looking for a way to change you back, he's a God! So growl, scream, and curse at him all you want in your new corrupt state because Buddha will never let you go no matter what happens. So either he finds a way to change you back or he spends as long as it takes to turn you how you used to be and break the evil that they put in you. He has all the time in the world to do so.

Vore – Analysis

“You have become the voice in my head”

I guess he means Sleep. But it's actually not that important who he means. To me my addictions often were the voices in my head. I mean you can kind of imagine the things they wanted from me.

It can also be seen as something positive. I often replay quotes or mantras in my head. I know I probably mentioned spiritual teachers such as Eckhart Tolle quite often. Having his teachings about the present moment in my head makes me more present.

“Only recourse we're left after death”

This does not sound very promising. Maybe he means that he can only be redeemed through death?

“Your viscera welcome me in, welcome me in”

Creepy! But also he often used images of being tangled in and caught. As if he was being caught in something like a spider's web and waiting for consumption. So I guess this just plays into this imagery.

“My life is torn, my bones, they bleed”

through a fractured existence. I know I have said this before but childhood trauma, dissociation and also the “no sense of self” BPD symptom make me really feel that line.

It's also interesting that he says that his bones bleed because they can't. But it creates an image of how deeply torn he is.

“My metaphors fall short in the end”

That's a cool one. Does he mean that he can't fully hide behind them? Or that he fails to convey certain things?

“Your flesh and bone welcome me in, welcome me in”

Seems like someone really likes him and that is just a strange way of saying this?! I guess he means Sleep with this...well actually with this whole song maybe.

….and how it's a pain they know they don't understand. If you mean that type of pain that makes you want to end everything, then yes. I was in pain like that, Vessel.

I brought up before that I feel like Vessel knows the difference between a real God and something pretending to be God when it actually has bad intentions. So do we want to be stuck in their throat? I don't.

He probably means Sleep. It seems that he is done with it / them.

It does. But it depends on what he means. I see this as hinting on spirituality and diving deeper into the present moment. Letting go of all of your thoughts and therefore the known and stepping into the unknown. Whenever you listen to spiritual teachers to you will notice that they use the expression "go deep" very often.

I'm sorry for brining up addiction again. It makes me think about the times I was so desperate and exhausted that I just thought “I don't care if this is how it ends tonight....I'm done fighting.....it will never get better, so it might as well just end....I just want to give up"

But I did not!

You could also read this line in the same way as the one before. Diving deeper into yourself and spirituality and reconnect with something divine. Or you surrender to what is meaning that you have no feelings or thoughts attached to something. You only see what is.

I other giving up victim thinking (the it never gets better stuff) and realize that it really is all in your hands.

“I want to go where nobody else will ever go”

Makes me think about meditation and spirituality again. I had so many strange visions by now. I really makes you question everything – in a good way :)

It could also be hinting at Sleep and where it resides or where they met maybe?!

Yeah...creepy. At least for me. Because it does not really sound something you would expect in a love song. It sounds creepy but also welcoming and also you get a feeling for it which is also kind of weird.

“We step into my suffering”

That's an interesting one. You think when he gets “swallowed whole” then his suffering is gone, right? Or is it maybe the cause of his suffering?

You can also see term suffering in a spiritual way. It was Buddah who said that he will teach you suffering but also the end of suffering. So I don't really know what to do with it.

“My only need, welcome me in, welcome me in”

It feel like he is begging. It seems like he really wants to be with someone or something. Probably Sleep.

“There is always something in the way I want to have you to myself for once Follow me between the jaws of fate So I can have you to myself for once”

This is weird because I don't understand why he could not have Sleep to himself. What is this being / entity?!

And also the way that he mentions jaws again. I feel I should write a jaw – collection or something like that.

Base Gala: A Conversation With The Artists

On the 3rd of August, OKWC held their first edition of the Base Gala, an art gallery and music event, this is one of the events they have organized to push music arts and culture. In this conversation, we talked to all the artists who were a part of this event about their beginnings as artists, their work and much more.

You’ve been documenting/photographing many artists in the newer generation, how important is this to you?

Its important that the world knows whats going on in Botswana the youts are on a very beautiful but tough journey in all their different fields and i feel like its my duty to document the journey.

When was the first time someone reached out for you to work with them?

2021, my boy Setso owns a clothing brand called Groovy and he is actually the first person to give me a cheque for my photography, its something iam forever going to be grateful for.

Which music video is the first one you’ve shot, and how was the experience of shooting it?

I would say the first music video i did was the "De Beers" music video for Ascension Plea's. I directed and shot it alongside Dreamhills studios and the experience was really dope. We started production at 6am and shot everything in one take,it took us 3 tries to nail but in the end i guess it was worth it, shout out to the boys.

Who is your favourite photographer?

My top 2 rn are Septembrrline and HMD

What do you use to shoot your work, and what do you prefer to use more?

For pictures, i like shooting with the Canon 4000D then for videos i prefer the Sony A7iii, but I am a strong believer that it isn't really about the equipment.

How did you get into photography?

Growing up i loved movies, taking pictures and documenting stuff. Mixed that with my love for music, i just knew that my path is here. But starting off i was an artist in junior school (i was a bad rapper ngl) but i wanted my pictures and videos done in a certain way because i realised that the type of vibe that was in Botswana at the time didnt really match up with what i wanted, so i decided to start taking pictures for myself, so in me falling deep into watching music videos getting exposed to indie artists and photographers, it sparked the love i had for photography as a kid and here we are now.

’djgetsyouwetter’’ how did you come up with your dj name?

Partynextdoor said “she just changed her twitter to party gets me wetter” and I ran with it by making it my finsta name, ‘kgaliegetsyouwetter.’ By the time I started being a DJ, I guess you could say the “getsyouwetter” became a brand, my alter ego.

What got you into djing and how did you learn?

Always used to get on aux around my friends and We’d joke about me becoming a dj. Then I met a group of friends that pushed me to stop joking and do it. In terms of learning, I’m yet to learn so many things. Right now? I just play music I enjoy.

Are you strictly into djing or do you also produce your own music?

We will have to wait and see.

Which genres do you usually play in your sets?

Amapiano, at the moment.

Describe how you felt during your first-ever set as a DJ?

I don’t know if I can describe it. I cried, on stage and after the performance. If emotional is the word, then it was very that. But the best word would be grateful, for all the love and support from my friends, from people i barely know. Nothing beats love and the energy that emanates from it. Felt loved, it was beautiful.

Who are your favourite producers or DJs?

As far as Amapiano is concerned, Dbn Gogo and Kmat are really up there for me. As women, as producers and DJs. Honourable mentions to Kelvin Momo, Stixx and so many more.

Have you always known that you wanted to be an artist or is it something you discovered later on?

I’ve always known it, both consciously (in the later stages of my life) and subconsciously (in my earlier years). It’s the only thing that’s ever made me feel alive, well that and sex.

What inspired you to explore multiple artistic disciplines instead of focusing on just one or do you see that as a natural ability?

It’s really not by choice, I just do what my soul resonates with. It just so happens to resonate with a large number of disciplines and if I realize I’m just naturally good at them then hey? Why not.

Are there any particular artists or movements that have influenced your work?

Atlasaaone Molemogi. ATI’s chaos is beautiful, it pushes me to be limitless and be as creative as possible in so many ways man. EMANCIPATE YOURSELF FROM MENTAL SLAVERY is a mantra I live by and will live by till the day I die. Fela Kuti’s artistic approach has also influenced the outspokenness of my work, im a fighter, the descendant of a tribe of Mau Mau warriors, Ashe!

Who is your fashion icon?

Dennis Rodman, the first time I painted my nails I was cosplaying as him for Halloween. I think studying him is the reason why the manner in which I dress seems very outlandish, very ME. I want to be as expressive as possible and no one will stand between me and my true self, Ashe. I think the way I dress is heavily influenced by almost everything I see on a daily basis, The unintentional proportions and natural wear and tear of the overalls on a construction worker, some boots or some that looked good on a stranger passing by. Fashion is beyond the labels and all that, you have to know life before you know fashion. Because what can you express that you don’t know, you know?

You recently did some styling work for thrifty bw at the comfy fashion week, how was the experience and how did that come about?

I was actually called by a stylist by the name of Eileen to assist with styling. I wasn’t exactly sure about how much I was to do but I did way more than I had anticipated, gladly. And I didn’t do bad for my first ever styling gig, also considering I didn’t have too many things to work with and wasn’t aware of what kind of clothing we were to deal with. Shoutout to Eileen because I wouldn’t have been there and met the people I met if it wasn’t for her. But other than that the general experience was amazing, got to interact with fellow models and overall I had fun and that’s that matters. Worked on a video shoot with Ciggaretes and Cocaine right after the show, got close to zero rest, do check the video on his Instagram by the way!!!

A few months ago you introduced us to 7MAG, what do you hope to achieve with it?

It’s more of a concept than an organization or platform. I just want the right people to meet in the right places and make what they’re meant to make. It’s all about the people, I yearn to unite the creative community this side in every way I can and 7MAG is just one of many projects in the works, that’s all I can say for now. Ashe!!!

What got you into djing and how did you learn?

I started DJing at 9 years old, growing up I always enjoyed watching my Dad DJing and he noticed that I had interest in learning so he taught me and he continues to teach me even after 14 years of being a DJ, I still learn a lot from him, from Vinyl to CDJs, one never stops learning

Which genres do you usually play in your sets?

Amapiano, Afro House(including 3-step) and House music.

Describe how you felt during your first ever set?

I was anxious and uncertain as to how the crowd would respond to Electronic Dance Music, which was what I used to love playing at the time, to my surprise it was well received, despite that I was shaking the entire time.

Who are your favourite producers or djs?

Hardwell, Oliver Heldens, Above and Beyond, MÖRDA, Kabza De Small, Kelvin Momo, MDU aka TRP and Muzi.

Do you play your own remixes during sets or its mostly transition between tracks?

I do play my own production in every single set without fail as well as incorporating other artists tracks, could be a locked tune(unreleased) or released but I mostly prefer playing my unreleased production as well as other artists unreleased production.

Most of your drawings are anime , why is that?

Because I love anime, there's literally no limit or principles to what you can draw. A lot of other art forms hold you back a little, you have to stick to what's real, but with anime/manga whatever your mind can conjure up is real. Also, I'm currently in the process of creating a manga so I'm trying to sharpen my skills.

How did you get into photography and drawing?

I started taking pictures with my phone and putting them on Instagram and tiktok. I had some pretty decent feedback from my audience and since this was something that I loved, I pretty much started honing the skill and nurturing it. I've been a really big fan of anime from a very age. DragonBall Z was one of the first animes I was introduced to. I used to love drawing the characters on the show, eventually i started drawing my own original characters inspired by the anime. I believe that's how I got into drawing.

When was the first time someone reached out for you to work with them?

The first time I was reached out to was when BACKYARD STORIES asked me to shoot for them alongside a couple other great photographers. I was pretty nervous.

Today We Honor Phyllis Hyman

Phyllis Linda Hyman was an American singer-songwriter and actress, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania July 6, 1949. She was best known for her singles from the late 1970s through the early 1990s including: You Know How to Love Me, Living All Alone, and Don’t Wanna Change the World.

She performed on a national tour with the group, New Direction. Later she joined All the People while working with another group, The Hondo Beat. She made her acting debut in 1974 in the film Lenny. Hyman also led a group called Phyllis Hyman and the P/H Factor.

Hyman’s debut solo album named Phyllis Hyman was released in 1977 on Buddah Records. When Arista Records bought Buddah Records, she transferred to the new label and released four albums: Somewhere in My Lifetime (1979), You Know How to Love Me (1979), Can’t We Fall in Love Again? (1981), and Goddess of Love (1983).

She also performed on Broadway in the musical, Sophisticated Ladies, the tribute play for Duke Ellington. For that work, she received a Tony Award, nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, and won a Theatre World Award for Best Newcomer.

In 1983 Hyman recorded the song “Never Say Never Again” for the James Bond movie of the same name which starred Sean Connery but the song she recorded couldn’t be used for the movie soundtrack due to legal reasons. In 1986 Hyman released the album, Living All Alone, on the Philadelphia International label. She also appeared in the movies, Too Scared to Scream (1985), Spike Lee’s School Daze (1988), and The Kill Reflex (1989).

In 1991 Phyllis Hyman released the album, The Prime of My Life, on Philadelphia International, which was the biggest album of her career. What If... Nezuko wasn't a demon? - Part 3

Chapter 3: The Final Selection

The three kids arrived at the place of the final selection to be part of the demon slayer corp, during their travel there Kanao barely talked and Tanjiro noticed her using a coin every time she wanted to talk or do something.

Nezuko told him that she did it when she was at the butterfly mansion but never asked her why she did it. When Tanjiro was about to ask her, two little girls approached them.

Just then Tanjiro noticed that there were lots of kids wanting to join the corp.

“Thank you for coming to the final selection” said a girl with black hair then she added “Inside that forest there are demons that were captured by other demon slayers you must reach the mountaintop shire. The surrounding of the forest we have wisteria that is poisonous for demons”

“You must go from the mountain’s foot to the slope in seven nights. Whoever reach the slope alive will be part of the Demon Slayers Corps” this time the girl with white hair spoke “We wish the best for all of you” both of them took a bow and she added “We will see you in seven days”

All the kids ran in the forest, Tanjiro and Nezuko worked as a team killing demons, both of them saved several kids they found on their way to the slope of the mountain. Thanks to Giyuu’s training in real combat with him and Kanao, both of them became stronger than other candidates who only learned the forms of their breathings and got body strength.

By the fifth night they were almost at the top of the mountains when they found a huge green demon, with lots of arms around his head and body.

“Nezuko, there’s a strong blood smell... The other demons didn’t have that strong smell. This demon had been eating a lot of humans” said Tanjiro in a whisper to his sister as they unsheathed their sword, ready to fight.

Meanwhile, away from Mount Fujikasane, Giyuu went to where Urokodaki’s house was and headed to that clearance where he and Sabito used to take a nap after practice and where they shared their tragic stories.

There was a little Buddah statue “Master... You put this here to pray for his soul, didn’t you?” thought Giyuu, smiling slightly.

He put his knees on the ground and prayed, even when he lost faith in that when he lost his loved ones but now he wanted to pray for his students, he became attached to them and wanted them to be protected by someone up there.

“I never thought I would see this...” that voice, Giyuu’s muscles freeze in place, how was this happening “...Giyuu Tomioka praying. If only the master and Murata could see this”

“S...Sabito?” said him with tears in his eyes.

“Giyuu” said his voice and Giyuu turned, afraid that he had gone crazy but there was the figure of his best friend, Sabito, he looked like the last time he saw him... alive.

“Wh...what does this mean?”

“I’m here to remind you of that promise we made here. That you will honor your sister’s wish and now my wish for you to be alive and help others. I died doing what I wanted to do... Help others survive. Right now your students are fighting that same demon that killed me and other Urokodaki’s students” his eyes showed terror so Sabito added “You trained them, you did it amazing and those two will do it. I can tell that Tanjiro's kid will kill it because he’s strong. He mastered those wicked traps Urokodaki loves to put down this damn mountain” Sabito was wearing his mask but Giyuu could bet he was smirking “Forgive yourself. You are alive and became a Hashira. Don’t you dare feel sorry for you”

Giyuu smiled and nodded “Fine... I will keep my promise and survive” Sabito’s mask was cut in half at that moment and Giyuu could see his eyes again and that big smile then Sabito disappeared. Giyuu had some tears in his eyes then he cleaned them and went to Urokodaki’s house and drank a cup of tea.

Back in Mount Fujikasane, Tanjiro and Nezuko held hands with tears in their eyes as the demon's body disappeared and he shared his sad story before turning into a demon.

Tanjiro told his sister about Urokodaki and how much he learned from him when he was with him.

After the death of that demon their way to the top went smoothly. Neither of them had deep wounds and by the last day, they could see that only four other kids survived, a blonde one, a kid with a boar mask, one with a mohawk and Kanao.

“Congratulations to all of you who survived. You will receive a kasugai crow who will tell you where to go and you can use them to send letters to other members and they will send letters back to you” five crows landed on each of them except for the blonde kid who got a small sparrow “Now you have to pick on of these metals so we can send them to the swordsmiths so they can build your swords”

The mohawk kid became irritated and attacked one of the girls asking for a sword, Tanjiro held his wrist and asked him to release the girl or he would break his arm. The boy, feeling his strength, released the girl but looked angry at Tanjiro. 

Then Tanjiro looked at the rocks in front of him but didn’t understand what to do, then he focused on his smell and picked the one that smelled good for him. Nezuko felt an attraction to another rock as well as the other kids picked theirs.

Later that day they left with the promise of receiving their swords soon. They left to Giyuu’s house, they were all dirty and tired but glad to survive.

When they arrived there was Giyuu waiting and when he saw them he hugged them, it was a surprise for both since their master wasn’t like this but it was welcome, considering the situation. There was also Shinobu hugging Kanao.

They took a bath, put on new clothes and ate together and they shared how the selection was. Giyuu took notes of their clothing size and ordered their uniforms. Then they spend their following days training and getting stronger until two swordsmiths arrive.

They wore weird masks which at first scared them but they explained it was for their protection. 

“I’m Kanamori and this is Haganezuka and we were assigned as your swordsmiths. I will be Nezuko’s and Haganezuka will be Tanjiro’s” They nodded, then he handed Nezuko her sword “Ladies first” she held it and unsheathed her sword which turned into a beautiful deep blue just like Giyuu’s.

“You have red eyes and hair and those hanafuda earrings, you must come from coil burners and those features indicate the gods blessing” he handed the sword to Tanjiro and when he unsheathed his sword it color changed into a deep black color. Haganezuka looked disappointed.

“Umm... black?” Giyuu looked a little disappointed as well and nodded “It means bad luck” Tajiro looked worried “But it’s the color you resonate with so... We can’t do anything” said Kanamori with a calm voice “Nezuko, on the other hand, is more intune with the water breathing” then he looked at Giyuu “Well, it was nice to see you again Mister Tomioka. Let’s go, Haganezuka” they left.

Giyuu handed them their uniform and went to their first mission.

“Maybe Tanjiro should talk with Rengoku” said Shinobu as she saw them leaving with there crows leading the way “I heard they have the books from the flame hashira from the Sengoku Era, there was a man who owned a black sword”

“I will tell them once they are back but I bet their crows will give them more missions in the same area. But can you ask him while they return” he said, turning to her. She could tell something was different. His eyes still looked the same but she could see a little more of life in them.

“As you wish Tomioka,” she said with a genuine smile. He gave her a smile as well “ok...I felt something was different but now I’m sure something changed... tell me”

He looked at her and sighed, of course she could noticed, she was the only one who took her time to be around the grumpy Giyuu Tomioka “I had a... umm... spiritual experience with someone who meant a lot to me when I was about Nezuko’s age. And he helped me move on from... things from my past”

“I’m glad Tomioka. I hope something like it happens to me... but I’m too much of a scientist that I might have doubted it” he smiled.

“Kanae could make sure you, you won’t doubt it” 

They laughed “Sure she will” she laughed more “but with a smile on her lips and her eyes shining with kindness, just like Tanjiro’s” Giyuu nodded and looked at her.

“Yes, that sounds like Kanae Kocho” they continued to talk until midnight. Then the Insect Hashira left with a mission in her mind and feeling happy to see her friend Giyuu healing himself, even when she didn’t believe in spiritual experiences, but if that worked then she was for sure be thankful for that development from him.

What did you guys think? I wanted to give Giyuu this development early also, as most of you might be aware of, the Sun Breathing (SB) was natural to Tanjiro as well as Sumiyoshi, Tanjuro and of course the man, the legend, Yoriichi Tsugikuni and what does all of them had in common? Red hair and eyes, which could be a coincidence or a condition to develop that breathing technique.

Which means neither Nezuko nor the other Kamado siblings would perform the SB so Nezuko will be able to use the Water Breathing with ease.

Next chapter will be their missions and I’m not sure if I made them meet with Tamayo and Yushiro after meeting Muzan. Let me know what you think.
