I have an apology to make to the person who was trying to explain to me how being a blinger first and foremost made it very hard to continue following up with SHINee. I had gotten mad saying everyone was having a hard time with Jjong missing and he was all our bias in some way.

I was butthurt feeling like having another bias than Jjong meant that my love for Jjong wasn't recognized as much.

Even though I still love Jjong like no other, I get it now. Jinki's absence over almost a year until now (except the few photos we had at some point), made me understand how much hold this man has on my heart. SHINee content and related stuff lost their colour, their vibrancy to me. My sun wasn't there and all I could see was gray.

I get it now. And I am sorry.

"HORNee" made me laugh. I don't know what it is with people in recent years trying to push hard stans out of fandoms. It's so weird to me. When I first got into internet fandoms (for the HP books and LotR movies because I am not young), all of my friends were hard stans. I've always preferred to be a lurker instead, but nobody bothered me about it. If you don't want to engage with hard stans, just keep scrolling. They're usually the ones minding their own business, anyway.

I guess it is seen as disrespectful now? But I think equating being HORNee to that automatically is reductive. Some soft stans infantilize and objectify idols in their own way, there is no moral high ground to be had here.

And you are right, no one is forcing you to interact with such discourse, just move along. More Jinki dick for me, I say. I don't want you sucking on the same lolli anyways.

he's so lean, and he lost the weight so fast. like, people on twt be like oh don't worry he started yoga. but I'm just. he was not a sedentary person with a little weight to lose*, he was a lean end of normal person who dances and goes to the gym for his job and has done so for almost two decades. AND yoga is (comparatively) low intensity low impact exercise. the amount of yoga he'd have to do, even IF it's just 'oh he started doing yoga' would be untenable and unhealthy, especially considering how rapid the weightloss has been. like, I get that he seems happier and I dunno, more comfortable in his body than pretty much ever, but. it's still a bit worrying.

Exactly!!! He was already an active person and he has to keep a certain level of fitness for his career. Yoga wouldn't have made him lose all that weight so fast. Granted, people really underestimate yoga and its conditioning and toning powers. Like the muscle definition he has was probably improved by the yoga, cause those practices take a lot of strength, but the weight he lost, that was dieting and probably even more daily movement.

I am trying to be very careful voicing my concerns, because you can never really know about someone else's health by just looking at them. He does seem lively and energetic so that is good. Now, I would get really worried if he lost more weight, cause no. But yeah, that did seem like a very rapid change and I just want my bubs to eat and move in a healthy manner.

I mostly use twitter to engage with SHINee content and my experience has been that hard stans are very much not welcome there. So it's nice to come over here for a change and see someone saying all the things that I'd normally leave in my twitter drafts, lol

But I am so sorry you are experiencing that on Twitter (I have been in one hard stan gc on there and people were thirsting 25/8 like it's free merchandise, like no, there is an art to this shit like get it right- jk jk XD).

The thing is people who know my account and my heart know how I feel about Jinki and the boys. I do not see how thirsting on MY BLOG or in your case on twitter changes any of that. I only lust for people who I have a deep love and admiration for. It's not just a "Oh he is so handsome" thing.
