valentines day pkmn wip ^_^

#im gonna put them on their own canvases and write a little abt their design insp and ideas #i had a lot of ideas but decided to go with the ones i felt worked strongest. although id love to go back to the ones that #didnt make the cut and see if i can rework them.. its a little hard to remember things that correspond to valentines day...!!!!#i wanted to do wedding dress gardevoir.. pearl necklace onix... romantic candle chandelure... heart balloon drifloon....#cherubird was supposed to be delibird but i found it hard to work around the santa theme without making it hard to recognize #so i decided to make it a new pokemon (fakemon?) entirely ^_^ based on seraphim doves and love letters #klefki is based on the pont de arcs bridge in france known for its lovelocks!! it collects charms like halves of best friend necklaces #lockets and lost wedding rings.. sawsbuck is based on tree carvings with lovers names and sakura branches #roserade is based on flower bouquets. i like how its design came out!! the body is supposed to look like a waistcoat #lopunny based on playboy bunnies. the fur on its wrists is supposed to resemble the cuffs. torso has the one piece suit #and their legs have the thigh high stockings. frogadier is based on romantic bubble baths with flower petals #tangela is based on curly old telephone wires that you twirl between your fingers when calling your lover kicking your feet in the air #decidueye has to be my fav though with the cupid theme. also used barn owls bc of the heart shaped face #i cant wait to finish these!!!! i can see these going on my portfolio for sure #my art #myart #pokemon #pokemon design #valentines day #wip #doodles

Im very into lavender these days but not in the woo woo 'this will fix my sleep problems and all other issues' pseudoscience way, it's just that i really love the smell and it's very comforting to me, which i can use a lot of right now so i try to surround myself with it as much as possible 💜

#lavender smells like how it feels to get home after a long day in the cold qnd you get to take off your wet clothes and put on soft pyjamas #and you can just get cozy in your warm bed and novidy expects anything else from you tonight no responsibilities no chores #you get to just be warm and safe and fall asleep #also bubble baths because iwe alsway had this lavender bubble bath when i was a kid and i loved it so much (i always tried to eat the foam #or rather i wanted to eat the smell itself but the closest i could get was the foam... yes it tasted bad) and i still love it a lot #oh also my best friend who ive known since kindergarten would always use this lavender oil (instead of like body lotion) after showers #(bit they changed the bottles a few years back so now they are like half the size which is ridiculous)#(we spent holidays together for years) and they still use it today but i dont get to smell it as much but that also makes me feel nostalgic #anyway lavender is amazing and i wish i could just drink that bubble bath fluid and get that cozy feeling inside of me that way #(im trying to find a tea that has mostly lavender but its not easy. most also have other stuff that i dont like... but ill keep looking!)#oh and i recently bought this lavender shower gel and that is so wonderful for a shower at night!!!#hey if any europeans wanna recommend any good (not suuuuper expensive) lavender products i could check out please tell me #winter is kicking my ass and i need anything i can get to cheer me up and comfort me #alright enough rabling #i just bought a tea i wanna try thats why i was thinking about it #mine

it’s been a hell of a day at work

#oh man for starters there’s a big project going on and there’s tons of people about #i’m having to do a billion things to catch up from being off yesterday #then a client comes in looking for a coworker who is at another site today #leading me to trying (and failing) to answer the clients questions as best as possible while trying to contact the coworker #THEN right after i cooked my lunch in the microwave i trip and fall flat on my face #by a miracle my lunch did not spill on the floor and my phone wasn’t damaged despite skidding across the floor #still got a skinned knee and bruised elbow tho #when i get home tonight i’m having a bubble bath because i need to fucking chill #zippy speaks

It's already 10 PM. I think I'll stop chores after doing them for about five or six hours. My sink (mostly) and oven look nice and the area around both is clean. Picked up some floor trash and put it in trash bags, so they're still on the floor, but now more things are ready to be taken out. Did not do that final load of laundry. Gonna make mac and cheese (the first cooking outside of the microwave and making a singular salad that I've done in a LONG time, I'm talking MONTHS) and eat it out of the pot and then rinse that pot and put it right back in my bathtub that apparently doesn't have a good seal because it's slowly been draining itself.

Why not put it in the sink now that the sink is (mostly) clean? Because it's just going to make the problem happen again. :)

#ramblings #i'll finish the remaining sink bits (a rat toy a knife and little odds and ends that i didn't want to throw into the bubbles in the bath)#tomorrow and then i can put the pot in there when i use it in the future but for now i cannot make the problem bigger #because then something in my brain Gives Up #and the future bits ONLY the pot and utensils can go in there and i need to have a designated day to do it if not the day of (unrealistic)#it's gross i'm gross and i wish it wasn't so but................ i have to accept this hell because being mean to myself never worked #this is who i am and i'm doing my best when i can #if you guys want to know the full problem there is one thing in my sink that was put there to wash dust off it (and then got dirty since it #was in the sink with other things as the days piled on) but it was in there since my dad got it out of storage and drove it to me in octobe #... october 2023 :) that's right there have been dirty dishes in my sink for over a fucking year :) isn't that such a wonderful life? okay #i'm being mean to myself sorry self you deserve some back rubs for doing what you can right now #good job self you're cleaning i love you good job i love you
