only, camp fazbear wasn’t as “little” as you’d expected—and maybe you should have researched the place more for it also had rather… quirky… counselors. robotic counselors, that were more than a bit intimidating and creepy at times. but that was fine, you thought to yourself, because it would definitely make your summer experience more interesting than you’d initially assumed.

Isayama said that Bertholdt “could do anything physically”. sure, Reiner ranked above Bertholdt and Annie during training, but when you look at their childhood, i think both of them could’ve surpassed Reiner if they had been 100% serious. this is just my interpretation though, it’s also possible that Bertholdt’s lack of initiative and Annie’s unability to work with others hurt their grade. i think hand-to-hand combat (Reiner’s weakness) wasn’t graded either

Bertholdt’s development after accepting Reiner’s possible death and deciding to end it all is SO similar to Mikasa after Eren’s death in Trost. they’re both moving in this trance-like state before repeating that the world is cruel, but it’s really interesting because the events are in reverse order for Bertholdt. so it’s more like a mirror. i’ve tried to represent it lmao i hope it’s readable

there’s the same onomatopoeia for the heartbeat, and Bertholdt and Mikasa were making similar expressions. even if isayama’s drawings weren’t as good in the first chapters, you can see that Mikasa has that same blank, wide stare when approaching Eren (it’s chapter 9)

both seem to become another person as they move, though Bertholdt is much calmer than Mikasa (which makes sense if their “normal” personality has switched I guess since Bertholdt is usually the nervous one). He sees everything around him perfectly, but Mikasa runs out of gas because she wasn’t paying attention to anything anymore

see it’s funny because Mikasa literally loves Eren

only difference is after falling, Mikasa says the world is beautiful as well, which makes the omission in Bertholdt’s case (as he rises) obvious 

anyway might as well put those too I guess, though i wouldn’t consider them direct parallels but we’ve made it this far lmao

it reminded me of Historia after losing Ymir and Reiner after coming back alone :

As soon as he left the bedroom and was out of sight Luka felt his knees start to buckle and he let himself slump to the floor. Hopefully she didn't hear that. A minute ago he'd been reaching for his bracelet to set Second Chance but then Ladybug collided into him and they were sent tumbling to the ground. When he had opened his eyes he found…

He was almost dead certain that it was Marinette propping herself up over him. Even if she looked older he wouldn't have mistaken those eyes for anyone else's. Those eyes looked as surprised as he was. While she had moved over to his side to sit up he had taken a quick scan of the room and of her. She looked… very curvy? … And pregnant. It was incredibly… well. There'd been a mix of feelings he couldn't put words to.

But the room? Deep down inside, he had an odd sense of being at home. And as he took some deep, meditative breaths to control his heartrate he knew whatever this was, it wasn't a dream. It had too much… certainty and realness to it.

Marinette was looking panicked, so he had offered to get some water. He needed some water himself. He also needed to leave the room so he could freak out in private and not upset her any more than she was already, and that was why he was more or less faceplanted on the floor out of view right now.

What was the akuma? It had some ability to see the future, which was why Viperion was called out to help Ladybug and Chat Noir in the first place. No one on the Miraculous team had known that it had the power to send people into the future, however. Luka was sure that was what had happened. Ladybug and Viperion got hit with the akuma's blast and… now Marinette and Luka were here, in their future. ONE future, he should say.

It wasn't necessarily set in stone. Luka knew how much could change in just 5 minutes.

He knew Marinette was Ladybug. Marinette might try to convince him she wasn't Ladybug if it ever came up. He'd have to roll with it and make her as comfortable as he could. Or maybe he could steer the conversation away from that in the first place. She might never call on him to be Viperion again if he told her that he knew and had known for a while.

Because even if Marinette had always looked over Luka for Adrien, Luka wanted to spend whatever time he could with her, in her super Miraculous suit or in her normal everyday clothes.

He got back up on his feet and sighed to himself, looking into the different rooms he passed as he meandered his way blindly toward a kitchen. There were a few rooms that had been for kids, he thought. He walked by what looked like Marinette's crafting workshop, full of partially dressed mannequins and half-finished projects and colorful children's drawings. A hallway he passed through was full of pictures of kids he didn't recognize, but they all had a strong familiarity.

Probably because they were his kids. His and Marinette's. He could hardly believe it, but his older self and Marinette's older self were there throughout most of the pictures too.

One thing caught his attention outside of the kids' pictures: a flatscreen in a large ornate frame playing a soundless video in the center of the hallway wall. It was of him and Marinette on what looked like their wedding day. He had swept her up off her feet in her wedding dress and she had her arms wrapped around his shoulders. She had been laughing and then had leaned in to kiss him.

Luka watched that replay a few times. They looked happy. He hoped that future Marinette didn't have any regrets.

After the replays he realized that they didn't look that old in the clip. Well, not much older than they were… now? Before the akuma? Definitely not teenagers anymore, but not more than a few years after they both left their teens.

So how did he manage to get all this? What happened that let Marinette finally see him? Did his future self leave any hints?

Last he knew of anything, Marinette had come back to the Liberty from her class' New York trip and admitted to the GirlSquad™️ (while Luka was within earshot) that she was still in love with Adrien. "I-I mean there's plenty of reasons to love him… he's so cute and talented and smart and--and… and I think everyone keeps saying we were made for each other but… but it's so hard," Marinette had groaned. "Why is it so hard?"

Luka had made his presence known so he wouldn't be unintentionally eavesdropping something he wasn't supposed to. Any more than was already said, anyway. He had started to leave when Rose stopped him then. "Luka! You're a boy! You know what boys think! What do you think is going on with Adrien?"

Luka had laughed and said he didn't know. "What I know is that it isn't supposed to be easy. It's something you have to keep working on. But it's supposed to lift you up and make you feel stronger." He then left the girls in their plotting/scheming/arguing to lounge back in his room. He had been surprised when a few minutes later Marinette came to join him.

"It doesn't make me feel stronger. I just feel dumb," Marinette said then, quietly. He had let her stay with him while he played random songs on his guitar, trying to cheer her up. She had finally started smiling again when he played her song, except with a little bit more flare and bubblegum pop. It was what he heard in his head when she was happy. "Thank you. You know, I feel less dumb being here with you."

He finally reached something like a kitchen. It'd been huge and there were clear boxy canisters of different types of flours and sugars and mix-ins… He saw a high end mixer and maybe 30 different types of baking sheets. Looked like Marinette still put her baking knowledge to use.

Alright enough being distracted, he shouldn't leave Marinette alone too long. He grabbed two clean glasses and got water from the fridge's built in dispenser and headed back the way he came.

"I brought some water for you." He was a little worried when he saw her on the floor. He had no idea what it was like being pregnant but it couldn't have been easy… "Hey, are you doing okay?"

Marinette took the water gratefully. "I don't know… Are… are you Luka Couffaine?" He nodded. "Huh, just a few minutes ago I was 14, and now it looks like I'm 34. And your wife."

There was something to her voice… she wasn't horrified, which was good news. There'd still been some confusion, maybe? And a little disbelief. That was as much as could be expected from Marinette, Luka supposed.

He was pretty sure she was Marinette, but it would be all kinds of messed up if he just found someone who looked a lot like her. It'd been her art, her designs, her baking… right? No one else could just… be all that she was. He had to be sure. "Are you Marinette?"

She looked up at him with her light blue eyes. It had to be Marinette. There'd been a wave of relief that washed over him when she nodded.

"I think this is our future," she said.

Luka blinked and… all of a sudden his wife had a Ladybug mask on. He hadn't seen that on her for months now (he had the Ladybug Miraculous since she was pregnant) which was the first clue that something had rudely interrupted them. He groaned internally and tried to mentally ping Sass or Tikki to see if there was anything to worry about. Marinette looked as bewildered as he was. He took her shoulders and gently pressed them both up to sitting.

Okay, well, she was… she was definitely not pregnant and therefore not his Marinette. Then he noticed he was suited up as Viperion. Ah, it ssseemsss you have been… regressssed, Massster, Sass said in his head. God, Marinette looked… what, 15? And Sass hadn't called him "Master" in forever.

Do you know what happened? Luka asked Sass.

There is an akuma who controlsss time. Well, of course. Their power has ssswapped you with your younger ssself, Sass answered.

Luka had to stop himself from laughing. His younger self was in for one hell of a surprise. That aside, he had to check on this Marinette. "Hey, are you okay?"

Ladybug looked up at him and brushed through his hair with her fingers. "Viperion? Your hair… It's so short…? Wait… wait wh--where's…" She looked down at herself and patted her stomach. "D-D-Dew--"

Oh, Dewey. Viperion pulled Ladybug in for a hug as she started crying. She was his Marinette and… and their son was in the future, not here with them. "He's alright. He's waiting for us. We're somehow in the past, but we'll get back home."

Well, shit, that meant that the younger Marinette was in the future as well.

"I-I-I thought I had l-lost him," Ladybug said quietly, her voice breaking.

"Hey… guys…" Chat said awkwardly after landing nearby. "Milady! What's wrong?!"

Right. Chat Noir. At 15. This was going to be annoying as fuck.

not a request, but i need help :((

ok so i've made a crossover fanfic of 2 animes that no one has ever done before, meaning i was the first author to ever make a crossover fic of those 2 animes (it's on wattpad)

so i was checking my ranks when i saw a crossover fic of those same 2 animes, and me, being excited because i've always wanted to read a crossover fic of those same animes but saw NONE so decided to be the writer itself- decided to read it.

that was until i read it's description (the description was a part of her story btw), and it seemed really familiar. there was a line there that i used in my fic

so i got to reading and when i came to her prologue, bruh. i read it and it legit looked like she took it from my first chapter. the same events, even the same words although she changed it up a bit.

you see, the first chapter of my fic was they were in a meeting. they were discussing a problem. one of them was projecting a picture on the large screen using a projector. fast forward, a guy says that the government decided to hire one of them to help solve problem. the chosen one is y/n, who's 14, making her the perfect age since the rest of the people she'll be working with will be around her age.

okay now to hers, ITS THE SAME. same being in a meeting, same showing a picture on a large screen, and same y/n being chosen for the job. the y/n on her fic is 15. 😔 the way she even described or wrote some of them is very very similar to mine! ://

idk if im just overthinking or making it a big deal but its been frustrating me and i have no one to tell about it :// it's just, she started writing that fic 1 month after i first published mine, and idk its just weird that someone suddenly started making a crossover fic of the same 2 animes, and to see fragments of my plot in her chapters although some are worded differently; is it plagiarism? should i confront the author? its just when you make a story and you see the plot you made in somebody else's, you're sure to recognize, even if its worded differently, right? :(( aaa idk i think im just being toxic😭

it’s okay to feel that way, i totally understand. i would suggest trying to message her about it and just try and work it through. i’m not sure how wattpad works so i’m not gonna be the best of help :(

WIP Wednesday 9 Sep 2020

Chapter 14 of (It All Started With) A Night at the Nat (aka WinterIron/WinterHawk/WinterIronHawk Supernatural AU with werewolf!Bucky and fae!Tony & Clint) posted on Friday - I've done nothing (other than working out the grand finale WinterIronHawk smut  in my head) for Chapter 15.  The way things are going, I doubt I'll get it done before the end of the month. Current Last Line: n/a

The @starkbucksbingo   Multiverse Shenanigans square  Quantum Leap-ish fic is still in progress -   it’s sitting at 940  words with maybe another 200-400 to finish it off (heh - that's what I said last week when it was < 700 words). Look for the first chapter by mid-month?   FYI: I will definitely need some help with the various 'verses I am planning on having them visit  (Avengers Academy,  Avengers Assemble, Earth 616, Marvel 1872, Noir  Marvel) -- so if you have expertise in any of these and are willing to help with plot ideas, please let me know!

I've got 3 fics in the works for the  September @tonystarkbingo Flash bingo:   

War Machine square: This ficlet  is pretty much done [352 words] - ready for a final polish before posting, probably on Friday. It's an introspective Rhodey POV piece set during the A:AoU  party.  

Touch square:  Started working on a sequel  for Tri (Tri) Again with  Tony and Eddie|Venom getting up to some more smutty shenanigans.  It's currently at 641 words and they're just now getting around to talking about the smut stuff.

I've got two different ideas for the Epilogue square -- a post-Avengers Stony piece  - I've got the title [We Can Be Us (Just for One Day)], but not much else.    Or I can combine it with my @starkbucksbingo square  Kill List/Hit List which I'm also using for my Winter's Snowflakes fanart fic challenge (several Discorders are writing a fic based on the same pic).  After a successful mission  (Dec 16, 1991) - the Soldier is given the assignment to bring the Stark heir to Hydra any way he can. If it runs into multiple chapters (as it's likely to do, given that it's me writing this) - I might throw a @whumptober2020 prompt or two into the mix. (the prompts for the event)

Decision at Sundown  (IronHusbands Western AU with mistaken identity smut) is still languishing at the moment. I know the basics of where Chapter 3 will go (Rhodey meeting Tony at Miss Carol’s and mistaking him for an employee), but haven’t gotten any words down on paper yet. I could really use an encouraging nudge on this one, BTW….

I still want to take a look at all the published WIPs I have out there and figure out which ones I still have a spark for and which ones to call it quits on. :^/

On other creative fronts, I’m working on a Dracula figure for the third of my  7-figure commission.  I do plan on participating in Marvel Trumps Hate as well (Creator Signups start Sunday!!) .  You can always check out Stuffed With Character over on Facebook or this post here on Tumblr for a list of my designs. ES Endgame thoughts dump

By no means is this actually a theory post. Like I said I’m bad at those bc I’m too impulsive with my thoughts to go through detailed checking three times and so on. I warn you, this is A MESS. Take it as a thoughts dump of certain eye catching details in ES that are still loose ends, and a handful of different crack theories as an attempt to be a theory person lol.

So theory people please definitely add/correct me. Help me put the pieces together :D

So something that’s been bugging me since book one is this phrase and the idea of the Alpha and the Omega. It’s thrown in here and there in little details. Like  this. You see Rourke here mentioning it in the bonus scene at the end of the recent chapter. He wants to remake the world by messing with time and space. Wants to be a God. 

*I copy pasted the entire part of Revelation that’s cited in this wiki at the end of this post, for anybody who might want to draw parallels. It’s interesting.

An interesting thing to note is that the dossiers of the ES gang all have them with clearance level Epsilon, with Jake at Gamma, then Estela at Alpha (beginning) and MC at Omega (end). I have no idea what those directly translate to in terms of clearance, but the fact that they differ from the rest shows their importance/threat to Rourke.

Things to note about Estela: 

A lot of her history is blacked out. Even her first and middle names, which now gives me this idea that Estela might not even be her birth name.

In light of the Estela is Rourke’s daughter theory, maybe Olivia renamed her once she got Estela off the island.

The assessment focuses a lot on her determination and skills. Noting them as “exceptional”. Rourke remarks in the bonus scene that his daughter is “strong” and “worthy.”

The fact so much of her past here is blacked out leads me to think it’s PB letting themselves have wiggle room to fuck it up in the finale by revealing a twist. Maybe Rourke IS her last family. Maybe Nicolas is a close friend to Olivia and not really her uncle, and was tasked to protect Estela from Rourke who would want her as an asset. 

Things to note about MC:

Rourke doesn’t really KNOW about them. He remarks in Book 2 that it’s interesting they exist. And it’s implied that MC is something that could/could not exist at this point in time. 

The fact that Rourke does not know who MC is... hello giant WHO IS S/HE???, puts points into the “MC is not Rourke’s child” theory.

So what?

What catches my eye is their clearance levels. On one hand it could totally mean nothing. Crack theory, it’s a subtle foreshadowing of their roles.

The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Rourke references this idea twice in the recent bonus scene as he talks to Lundgren.

Estela and MC have always been connected somehow. They dream about each other. In book 1, MC sees Estela going after the crab, and Estela dreams about MC too. In all other instances of MC’s powers connecting with people, it’s usually just MC who experiences it (time resetting when they die, the idols their Endless version created). The others only share in MC’s experience during the Embers from Vaanu, but this may be because it’s from Vaanu and not something from MC. Point is, there’s something more to Estela given that she can experience weirdness on her own, not just take part in it.

@lovemesomesnark mentioned to me that in Book 2 when they go back through time to find the heart, that if MC messes up the timed choices, it’s Estela who fixes it. She did time voodoo. 

Conclusion: These two have an important role in the endgame. Either together or against each other.

Working crack theory: Estela is Rourke’s daughter, he plans to use her to help further Project Janus (could he program her like Mike somehow?) and therefore bringing about a new beginning (Alpha) in his crazy image. MC on the other hand could be the key to ending it (Omega) by helping Vaanu find the last piece. Which everyone thinks is MC. I’d buy it. Lots of angst.

Short thing about Janus in mythology: 

In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus (/ˈdʒeɪnəs/; Latin: IANVS (Iānus), pronounced [ˈjaː.nus]) is the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, duality, doorways, passages, and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the future and to the past.

Rourke tells Lundgren and IRIS that this is just the beginning and

Yeah he’s trying to remake the world to suit him, by messing with space and time. Smart plan, what could go wrong.

Uhh interesting thing, it seems like Rourke needs some sacrifice/missing piece to pull off this plan. Because IRIS says:

Cloning, having a subject sounds vital to the plan. So Aleister was the first draft, they had this second, new one in the works, but it looks like Rourke abandons both for his daughter (Estela?)

Crack theory time: I’m going to assume with all the time craziness on the island that this didn’t necessarily take place just before the wedding and Rourke appearing with a vortex above his head. This could be farther in the past as he plans to mess things up and go after the heart. I don’t know. I’m bad at this lol. 

But if it issss farther in the past, that second clone could either be 1. Yet another Aleister with new “Hostile DNA” as IRIS says, or 2. MC? A lot of the fandom sees the signs that MC was just an experiment or some other thing from the island because of their lack of memory of the past, and their file stating they were born on La Huerta. 

Probably overthinking but this crack theory exists because IRIS mentions that the second clone has Hostile DNA. Hostiles = the Vaanti? And MC has shown to share a lot of funky powers and similarities with the Vaanti that an old crack theory floating around was that MC is part Vaanti.

Maybe it’s this command to terminate this clone, or some other event we’ll soon see that results in Rourke succeeding or failing to destroy MC, is also why he comments to MC that “Oh, you exist.”

This time looping is not a new thing. It just happened in the last chapter, where we got to see the gang take the group selfie that led Rourke to go on this crazy mission in the first place.

Interesting thing if you’re a Final Fantasy nerd: this popped into my head when Rourke said “to be as we are now, forever”, when IRIS mentions disrupting spacetime when initiating Project Janus, and knowing that Janus is this god of time that is the duality of past and present, and travels through it. If you ever played Final Fantasy 8, this reminded me of that. The villain in that game basically tries to travel through time to make it into one single moment and live on forever, ruling it. What if Rourke wants to do something similar in his lust for power or to try to save his wife? 

Confused?

Told you I wouldn’t make sense lol. But yeah, take all of this with a grain of salt. It’s crack theory and jumping to conclusions. Just listing down loose ends with no effort to tie them together. Yall can try because I do not have the brain cells to lol. But to conclude, I basically think all of these details point to

1. Estela/MC as endgame. Things are gonna get angsty.

2. Rourke needs something from one or both of them to put his plans in motion.

3. His plans to be a god in a new world are crazy. It needs the heart and a subject to complete. Which used to be Aleister but now could be Estela. Or MC. Or Estela and MC as the Heart/Vaanu and Cloned Subject combo needed.

4. Whatever the hell it is the finale is going to be wild and I’m going to cry over something/someone.

WIP Wednesday 2 Sep 2020

Finished the rough draft of Chapter 14 of (It All Started With) A Night at the Nat (aka WinterIron/WinterHawk/WinterIronHawk Supernatural AU with werewolf!Bucky and fae!Tony & Clint) just this morning. Clint is taking care of Bucky post-shift with a simple ropeplay scene that leads to some smut.  It's sitting at 1916 words and should be ready to post on Friday (yay!) This means the  grand finale WinterIronHawk smut should end up in chapter 15 .Current Last Line: His heart soared as he replied, “Love you too, Buck.”

Working on a fic for my @starkbucksbingo   Multiverse Shenanigans square.  Inspired by some idea-sharing from @rise-up-ting-ting-like-glitter  over on the TSB Discord with dimension-hopping Bucky trying to fix Tony-centric situations that have gone wrong.   That morphed in my mind to a Quantum Leap-esque concept where fanfic!Bucky (who is in of course, madly in love with "his" Tony)  and MCU!Tony (mid-Iron Man film)  travel thru the multiverses with Tony taking on the appearance of that world's  Tony.   The first chapter is sitting at 680 words with maybe another 200-400 to finish it off. Look for it by mid-month.   FYI: I will definitely need some help with the various 'verses I am planning on having them visit  (Avengers Academy,  Avengers Assemble, Earth 616, Marvel 1872, Noir  Marvel) -- so if you have expertise in any of these and are willing to help with plot ideas, please let me know!
