It’s actually been really comforting seeing elucien and gwynriel theories and realizing that they have zero basis in canon and reality. There hasn’t been a single prediction from that side that makes sense to the actual story. They can’t even agree on who the next book should be. Everything they say is based solely on their own headcanons and willful misinterpretation of the text and it shows how doomed they really are whenever they post a new one.

At the end of the day, the only story moving forward that makes sense is elriel. We don’t have to come up with insane theories and twist the narrative to make it work; the author, SJM has already done that for us and that’s why I’m not worried, despite how loud and aggressive the other side might be. And when every single hint that’s come out this year has pointed towards elriel, it makes it that much better

This is so real. I think when you first see Gwynriels/Elucien’s theories they can be daunting as they always get so many likes, making you doubt yourself yet when you actually sit down and read their arguements….it becomes so clear how biased, nitpicked and contradictory it is.

Tbf - 2021-2022 was peak anti era where they were coming out with semi-logical arguements. Now they don’t bother to put any effort in, can’t even blame them. There’s only so many times you can twist and lie about canon. I will say though - its come to a point where antis are just discrediting themselves the more they speak. If you’re with a straight face telling me you saw 0 romantic foreshadowing between elriel but Az glancing at Gwyn during training was enough for you to believe they’re endgame - how am I suppose to take that seriously? You literally can’t because its just ridiculous. Eluciens yapping about how the rejected fates storyline will be between loa/helion/beron - when Sjm specifically mentioned bonds being wrong in a conversation about elucien/elriel…like. Once you actually start thinking about each theory/point/HC it all unravels very quickly.

4 years later - do we still know wtf an elucien/gwynriel book will be about? Like, they say random plot points but never connect them to each other or explain how one book would lead to another etc.

like mentioned in this post van calls nat ‘little rockstar’ which started because van was trying to come up with a nickname for nat but nat was vetoing every one of them until she said she wanted something “cool” and the idea hit van

when nat first starts regressing around van it’s kind of chaotic because van isn’t sure what she’s doing but she’s determined to help natalie the best she can

honestly if van just simply sat in the same room as nat when she was small without complaint that would be enough for nat (van ofc does more but nat isn’t nearly as worried as van is)

lots of movie nights together! van ofc loves movies but she starts to get really into the lore of random kids films so her & nat can discuss as they watch

also story times! nat loves a story before bed but she also asks for them while in the bath or coloring ect - van is always happy to come up with something for her!

at first neither of them are big cuddlers but eventually nat gets more comfortable and van is a physical person anyways so she welcomes them with open arms (literally)

even before the wilderness nat was never one for storms so on nights it was due to rain heavily or have thunder/lightning she’d spend the night at van’s and they’d build forts to sleep in and watch their favorite movies

van always ties nat’s hair back when she’s small or it’ll end up tangled to no end and/or in nat’s mouth

they have a secret handshake that natalie came up with while small but still likes to do when big

van gets sooooo protective over nat that it can sometimes take the other girls off guard since they don’t seem that close at first glance but they never question anything (and quickly learn to leave natalie alone when van is around)

nat doesn’t have many toys she plays with but she does have a handful of stuffed animals she likes to carry around with her

van keeps a small keychain of a stuffed dog on her backpack incase nat regresses at school and needs something to fidget with

van can’t cook but luckily for her all nat ever wants to eat while small is a grilled cheese or cereal

for a treat van will take nat to the local ice cream shop and get her one of those pre packaged snow comes while van gets an ice cream sandwich on chocolate chip cookies

they hold hands a lot and even in public nat won’t let go of van if she’s small - van’s gotten used to the stares and nat doesn’t notice them so van never says anything about it

at some point the girls from the team catch them holding hands and are very confused but don’t have any time to ask questions so everyone has their own theory about it (except tai who has been aware of nat’s regression & van being her caregiver for a while)

ok so kuroyukihime's *backstory* has been a hotly debated mess since day one, right? and for a long time people assumed she was kirito and asuna's daughter

except this became less and less likely as the story went on, and then *volume 23* came out

which is where we learn this:

she's artificial

she's an experiment

and crucially her mind is in fact, an artificial soul that got overwritten onto the brain of the artificially grown baby (who for some reason got the same birth(?)day as asuna, which also seems to be relevant)

ok so we have a character who's kinda similar to kirito personality-wise, and whose combat avatar is like the platonic ideal of a dual-wielder. she *is* the blades when she's fighting, and the moves she uses literally have the same names as the sao techniques used by kirito (including some exclusive dual-wielding ones). note that the sao incident is mostly classified and also happened over 2 decades ago at this point

now let's go even further back: the alicization arc;

-it *starts* with kirito's second childhood in rulid, in the underworld. the entire premise hinges on the fact that *souls can in fact be reverted back in age and memories can be sealed away*

-it *ends* with kirito erasing all their memories from the 200 accelerated years they were stuck in the underworld, except no, *the star king fluctlight copy of their soul still exists*; and it still exists up to the latest volume of sao but nobody knows where it went

so let's add all of that up shall we!

we have here a character who had her brain overwritten by an artificial fluctlight of unknown origin at birth, with the caveat that fluctlights can be age-reverted and memory-sealed (basic necessity otherwise the alicization arc couldn't have happened, the tech is canonically not only present but over a decade old at kuroyukihime's birth), all the while a certain fluctlight copy of kirito is missing, and it's just the specific one who happens to have 2 subjective centuries of experience with both acceleration and incarnation

also add to this that the name "kuroyuki"(<hime is a title) and the name "kirito" have the *exact* same relation to the respective character's legal names

kuroba sayuki vs kirigaya kazuto; literally just the first kanji of the family name and the last kanji of the given name, they both thought of this independently

so yeah, kuroyukihime is a fluctlight copy of star king and im not kidding

I actually really love that theory! As I think it’s even more evidence towards the whole “Wooly being forced into bad stuff by Hameln” thing! But not only that it also could be evidence towards how we personally interpret what those creature things are. I think I’ve seen some people theorize that the fox is supposed to represent Joanne possibly In general I’m a HUGE sucker for the “kind and gentle soul forced into doing something absolutely horrible (bonus points if they’re meek- extra bonus points if they’re a child)” trope

anyways I like the theory! My thoughts are very disorganized rn so lemme just list some random stuff off, feel free to ask for specification and clarification!

So I personally think that the Mr fox stuff is more symbolic than anything? I don’t really think he himself actually did it? But I’m also not against the idea, and it makes sense. But so far there’s not much in the canon of the games themselves to imply that he did it, at the very least it wasn’t him alone who did it. But for the most part there isn’t enough evidence to suggest that he actually did it, and I like the thought! But I’m holding off on saying anything definite until we get further information. I do think however no matter what it is, it’s symbolism for who Wooly is as a character and how that effects how he is with traumatic events (I can definitely explain this because I’m actually not saying anything negative about him, it’s more sad if anything :( ) and more importantly how his monster works and how it works in tandem with how Amanda’s entity(s) works. (plural since I think there may be something more “possessing” Amanda then just her Monster, at the very least I think that her creature is just a small piece of a larger puzzle if that makes sense, this could also apply to Wooly?? But uh- that’s a whole other thing im not gonna get into it)

2. As my twin already said, even if it’s symbolic or not it’s proof on Wooly being forced to do awful things entirely against his will, and that says a whole lot about him, his relationship with Amanda, and Hameln as a whole.

Im the stc lore anon. Im very aware of the old interviews. In fact thats exactly part of why i get so frustrated with the fan interpretations of lore. Because its one of the things in my view that debunks the romance about sleep theories. Its just very frustrating feeling so strongly about my theory the fan lore is not canon while seemingly most of the fandom assumes the fan lore is absolutely 100 percent canon and just needs some more puzzle pieces to unluck the True Story. I used to believe the fanmade lore, but i no longer can do so especially when ive seen various bits of concerning behavior in the fandom where i think people take it wayyy too far. I think the only "canon" interpretation of the lyrics is the real person behind the masks life story, otherwise theres no "canon" and we are supposed to do whatever we want. But i think things have just gotten wayyy out of control with the its about a romance with sleep theory. What makes me actually hate it is how much people insist the people on stage are "characters" (i regularly see disclaimers saying "dont worry im just talking about the characters not the real people" when i really dont think they are "characters" in the way people think... this is not an anti fanfic/shipping/headcanon about real people stance btw i dont care about that as long as you dont go too far, i just dont like the insistence theyre "characters" because that feels so dehumanizing) and how rude people are if you dont agree with the fanlore (the vitriol aimed at alternate interpretations is really disgusting, especially the "why are sexualizing the lyrics, youre a bad person" crowds vitriol and insistence theyre the Good Fans while if you dont agree you deserve awful things). Otherwise, i just get *personally* annoyed with how often i come across the "its totally canon that its about sleep theories" when i dont want to *personally* hear those theories at all. I hope im making sense, and maybe im being an asshole in how im expressing my views idk. I just really feel like an outsider in this fandom and get so happy when i come across people who actually agree with me because it makes me feel less alone and like im not stupid or whatever. Just have fun, let the music mean something special to you, and remember the band (and their fans for that matter, going back to the vitriol thing) are human beings, thats what ultimately matters. I think you are struggling with something that many struggle and the fans that you call out also struggle with that: it's acceptance. Or accepting what is; in that case it's fan's who act a certain way or have different opinions or see things in a different way.

Acceptance is a mastery. It's something that is very hard to achieve.

Your situation reminds me of something that I could not accept for a long time in that fandom. So I'm going to talk about that.

This will probably be a long post so I'm hiding this and also mental health topics will come up.

I always had this assumption that everyone could see what I see when I look at Vessel. I'm talking concerts photos and “peeled Vessel” and the things that get revealed when the paint comes down. To me his scars are one of the few things that I can observe and so can everyone else, right?! There are so many even the ones from a certain attempt on both his right and his left forearm.

Well...right?! They are right in your face....

No! They are right in my face. I got into weird arguments about this topic. Which is a weird thing to argue about because this topic is a very painful one and also a strange one. There is a giant stigma around it. There are even “mental health professionals” on YouTube who refuse to talk about that topic and pretend that it does not exist because YouTube does not like these topics. It's a weird topic.

But it was exactly that what got me into the lyrics so much. I wanted to figure out the story behind what I could see.

All I found was myself and the parts of me that I denied that even existed. I stopped searching for the story and started to face myself instead.

I found a great new spiritual teacher because of that. She teaches acceptance and also sacred neutrality.

It's been almost a year now with her teachings and me finally accepting that not everyone can see what I see when I look at Vessel.

There will always be humans out there who call all of this an assumption. To them he did not self-harm and does not have scars from a certain attempt. To them that's an assumption while for me it's a fact.

Those fans are not worse then me and I'm not better then them. I can accept that they just have a different view on everything.

It's the same with lore interpretations or the way that some treat them in a (your words) dehumanizing way.

I can accept all that I just don't read it or interact with them. I let them have their view on things and I have my weird view on things.

I argued with fans that said things like: I don't even like their music or listen to their music but....

They are a thing, too btw.

When it comes to Sleep btw. To me it's an entity. They are very real btw. I learned how to deal with them, too. But I can totally understand that many humans out there just don't get topics like entities or idk...I mean I saw fairy-like beings right in front of me one day. 99% of humans would probably just say that I just made this up. I can understand that or rather I learned how to accept that.

When I first heard about Sleep I thought about that day and the fairies. I just thought...maybe that guy is a bit weird like me?!

We all had different experiences that shaped us. And also some fans really are just 14.

One of the reasons why I left the big Discord for example was because they allow all ages. I had an argument with a nine year old! That's when my alarm bells came online and I thought to myself: no...not okay! Some fans act a certain way because they are actual kids.

Like I said....I found a place within me to accept all that.

But it took a lot of facing myself to find that acceptance. And it's a process that is on-going.

Maybe this helps you...maybe not....maybe it clarifies something...maybe not.

I'm learning everything from her btw. It's energy work....energy work means you work with your soul, your higher self, higher dimensional beings....all theses things.

Minor complaint: once again, p:eg falls into the canon dr's trap of making its truth bullets too vague. jett's statement about wolfgang being stabbed to death shouldn't be countered by the tozu tablet, which doesn't mention his cause of death at all, nor any injuries he sustained. we investigated wolfgang's body ourselves, why shouldn't there be a "wolfgang's body" truth bullet? again, this problem is present in canon dr so I don't blame the devs for this.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU ULYSSES AND INGRID. I was about to say, how would you know those marks on his hands were burn marks unless you knew about the lightning thing? eva and damon didn't know, so how could they just assume it was a burn mark? it doesn't look much like a burn mark, does it???

oh man. eva is such a tragic character.... she could have changed, she was in a new environment where she could have had people who supported her, but she still refused to believe in her classmates. and diana only wanted to help her, but she was the one (other than wolfgang) who got hurt the most by eva's actions...

(um. I was going to write out my thoughts about the execution but I can't seem to find the words for it right now. Imagine a really expertly written analysis here or whatever.)

The execution also has a really... "fanganronpa" look to it. Not that that's a bad thing though, I don't think any fangans have managed to capture the og dr execution style (except maybe sdra2)

aw man damon is crying after the execution :( except after the cg, he doesn't seem to acknowledge that...? even though 2 other characters get new crying sprites, he doesn't get anything, not even the dialogue mentions it. unless I blacked out at that part and missed it? but I'm glad that he cried, actually, because despite him trying to stay distant from the rest of the class, despite him trying to keep a calm face, he ended up caring for eva and crying over her death.

and another note about damon, his doubts about himself seem to have started in this chapter: he expresses doubt about not revealing wolfgang's motive, and about not speaking up about the dangers of the pharmacy. this is kinda interesting, he seems to be starting his character development early. interested to see where he goes!

also, 2 new crying sprites for mark and desmond! that's really cool actually, normally calm characters showing strong emotions is always so awesome to see, especially in fangans, where characters might react really passively to their classmates' deaths.

oh... diana no... she says stuff about continuing wolfgang's legacy when she herself is clearly not okay. she always cares about others' feelings without acknowledging her own. I know this scene is supposed to be motivational, but it genuinely seemed concerning to me. like girllll you're gonna end up dying in chapter 5 after an inevitable breakdown I know it!!! ...actually, I can see an arc like this, where diana slowly descends into distrust and despair while damon slowly learns to work with others and pursue the truth. welp, I'll see if this prediction comes true after like, 6 years, lol.

also, a really really minor thing about the ending: I found it kinda weird that diana striaght up mentions her animal being a chameleon. i feel like thats kind of..... idk, meta? I didn't know the characters were supposed to be aware of their own animal motifs, it feels kinda weird that she mentioned that. just a minor thing :')

but all that aside, we're finally done! this was genuinely such a great game, the eden's garden team put so much effort into this project, and it was so fun to play through (especially without being spoilered beforehand!!) genuinely so awesome, I look forward to more, whenever that may be.

also, two of my favorites are dead. ulysses better not be next.... (it's inevitable his note-taking gimmick is too much to pass up on)

something in me awakened at the fact that the gesellschaft really doesnt know everything! but. could you imagine. just for a second. shes sitting there reading a book or something. trying to ignore the fact that she's such a heavy wetter (her 7 identity REALLY likes tea and well. the food identities eat while they're superimposed does NOT go away when the dungeon is over) that shes started having issues holding it even when big. all of a sudden the gesellschaft is like "faust is about to pee" and shes like "asjdssd??? what" (but in more faust terms) but its too late.

obsessed with the idea that she starts paying attention to specifically the gesellschaft telling her when she needs to pee actually. maybe she started relying on it when shes focused cause it reminds her to eat/drink/other needs and stuff. post motwe, where now yi sang is vaguely aware of gesellschaft he's like. concerned about her reliance on it because it was a huge shift. over time faust agrees that maybe relying on it when she doesnt need to isnt a good idea. unfortunately its all or nothing so now she doesn't know what she's feeling when she's feeling weird??? and something about that makes her feel fuzzy. she cant tell if shes feeling off because she needs to pee or if shes hungry or thirsty. tries to be subtle about it but she does NOT know how to change herself and does NOT want to check if the gesellschaft knows this so she has to hope she can catch yi sang alone cause he's the only one who can know that this isn't just a little faust problem. its even worse if you subscribe to faustcord gesellschaft theory.

yi sang and her cuddling (in one of their rooms) and she starts feeling weird and yi sang is like "is something wrong?" and faust is like "...faust doesnt know" and yi sang pauses and raises an eyebrow and shes like. "...i dont know either" and shes. embarrassed to be called out. he tells her its ok but they should probably figure out what it is sooner rather than later, and faust agrees. yi sang stands up and goes to have faust stand up and the gravity shift and. well they figured out what the issue is! unfortunately for faust yi sang mentions that if she cant hold it then dante's gonna figure it out at some point and faust is like "no that wont happen." (shes still in denial that she cant hold it in the first place!! yi sang this is too soon to tease her even if you dont mean to!!)

(she realizes halfway through speaking she's making sounds and not words and she goes to stop but... maybe its ok to not be able to say words. shes safe and ishmael and heathcliff are so so kind and nice to her when shes little and even though its embarrassing it's... nice.) but ishmael just chuckles and is like "bot-tle. heathcliff, can you say bottle?" and heathcliff, who does not go as little as sancho does, can say it without problem, which. makes sancho more embarrassed. ishmael puts that card down and goes to the next one, repeat until sancho's too red in the face to function.

Jason Todd. I just don't get why Ikemoto is drawing AND writing at the same time..... Like it would've been better if Kodachi stayed and wrote the story, Or Kishimoto continues it (which btw he wants vacation lol). Kodachi/Kishi wrote the better story and they had the vision, on the other hand, Ike's writing is literally a fanfiction lol.

Yeah, whats worse is its not even Ikemoto's fanfiction, he's literally taking actual fanfic/fan theories and makin em canon, and you cant even say its impossible because in the interview he literally gets off track from answering a question to address complaints he was seeing online to defend himself 😭 so this man DOES look at fandom feedback, so theres no way you can say its totally a coincidence that so many fan theories became canon EXACTLY as they predicted it, theres just no way.

Once or twice you could say that it was a fluke, but this is way more times than one, and the fact that he pretty much confirmed that regardless of fans justified complaints about certain things he will ignore them because 'he likes it that way' so ppl will just have to deal with it.

Meaning having any hope of him taking any of the valid criticism to improve is gone, whatever he likes is what hes gonna do, even if it goes against what even Kishimoto himself wants/wanted because it is HIS story now and Kishimoto has no intention on intervening since hes happy spending time with his family now and isnt ready to let that time go again yet, which is understandable and I hope he takes as long a break as he wants or needs, I just hate that his legacy is being tarnished in the meantime because greedy higher ups WOULDNT let the series die and Kishimoto get a break like he asked for.

The story really did peak under Kishimoto and Kodachi's writing direction, the second the story shifted entirely in IKEMOTOS direction you saw the quality DROP and the story become a directionless convoluted inconsistent mess.

As for if I still have hope for KawaSara...to be honest I dont know anymore, the reveal that Ikemoto is 100% writing and that Kishimoto himself doesnt even know where the story is headed anymore and is just as much a reader as the rest of us, and even if he does give input, he lets Ikemoto have the final say, has gotten me unsure of what to expect anymore.

Under Kishimoto and Kodachi's writing they were pretty strongly hinting at building more on Kawaki and Sarada's relationship, his bond with team 7, to really drive home his betrayal later so that it'd have some real weight and impact from all their build up. So the potential for KawaSara was very high from what they were setting up.

But Ikemoto? yea I dunno what to expect from him, but if where the story direction changed is anything to go by [which Ikemoto confirms was all his doing and its a completely different direction than the one Kishimoto and Kodachi had planned] its safe to say hes tryna push bsa, either that or troll like a mf just to keep those viewers engaged since this manga is tanking more and more every chapter and the biggest supporters are shippers who just wanna see Boruto and Sarada get together for eugenics.

I wont say KawaSara has lost yet or that its hopeless, the ship hasnt been definitively killed off yet, theres still a possibility this is just another NS situation, teasing what the ppl want just to keep em readin till the very end where he finally says alright now for the real endgame once he no longer has anything to lose by pissing off bsa lol

Even if Im unsure about KawaSara at this point in time, Im still fairly confident in BoruSumi even tho alot of ppl have written her off just cuz she doesnt have a hug scene [NH doesnt either anywhere in the manga but NS does] or a reckless attempt at saving the other [according to KK Sarada and Boruto both would've died if not for the other shinobi arriving when they did so she didnt even save him fr so this argument is invalid]

They also downplay her feelings just because shes more reserved and rational than Sarada, which is kinda the point of opposites attracting and balancing eachother out [Minato being the quiet calm level headed one while Kushina is hot headed and loud] whereas Sarada and Boruto are both portrayed as hotheaded rebels apparently, their kinda the same person atp but thats another topic for another day.

Point is KawaSara is up in the air, but BoruSumi shouldnt be counted out yet, lack of screentime and interaction didnt mean jack shit for NaruHina, SaiIno, or ChoKarui, so lets not pretend its the ship killer for BoruSumi.

Lets also not pretend that SS didnt also go through one hell of a rough patch cuz they did, and they still became canon in the end, so again lets not pretend these things are ship killers alright because they aint, the real meat of the story hasnt happened yet, and Kawaki is supposed to be getting more development soon so lets see how that goes and who its with first and judge further from there.

So I have been in the whole Thiam things quite a while how and there is specific tag that got me wondering and it is the Jewish Theo Raeken tag the reason bcs where does this coming? Is this just a tag that an author like just created and ppl thinks “oh hey! This is really interesting!” And decide so write more about? Or this there any specific theories behind it????

hi yeah, that theo is Jewish is a headcanon. im pretty sure that its theoceanismyinkwell (they're under the same username on tumblr too!) who came up with that since most of the fics under that tag are by them! i dont know much about this headcanon, but theoceanismyinkwell is actually Jewish themselves, so if you have more questions about that, maybe try sending them an ask instead :)

in canon we dont really get to know much about theo's religion or ethnicity. theo just gets read as a white guy, which, well, he is. cody christian, his actor, is actually indigenous (his mother is penobscot) but teen wolf in general likes to cast actors that are racially ambiguous. froy gutierrez, nolan's actor, is of caxcan (indigenous to mexico) and mexican descent. victoria molores, hayden's actress, is of mexican descent as well. kelsey chow, tracy's actress, is chinese (im ignoring her claiming she's native american bc that's a whole controversy and im white european myself so its Definitely not my place to comment on that.)

my point is, all the characters ive listed can get read as white if you really want to. they're just racially ambiguous enough that you can ignore any non-white features they may have. and with the way teen wolf likes to be racist in general (the way they treat literally all of their Black characters, the way they treat kira and the incredibly poor way they handle their inspirations of asian and native american mythology) this feels... interesting to me. its definitely a choice they made.

sorry, i got of track. the racism in teen wolf makes me incredibly angry. canonically, theo mentions once that he's an atheist in s6ep9 when the sheriff threatens to shoot him "until god won't even recognize him" to which theo says "im an atheist. fire at will." if hes just always been an atheist or if his time underground possibly made him stop believing in higher beings- who knows. i think its a very fun tidbit of information about him since his name, theodore, means "gift of god." how ironic. (heres a post where i briefly talk about that btw)

anyway. that theo is Jewish is just a hc, and not an actual theory as far as i am aware! its definitely fun though. since we dont really know a lot about theo, especially his childhood and his life post-canon, i think giving him these kinds of hcs is so cool. adding aspects to his character to further explore him.

OK- I'm gonna be honest. I like MyStreet, but not as a show. More as a minecraft story series in general if that makes sense. (not comparing it to MCD in this bc its been waaay too long since ive watched MCD for me to actually write abt it like this)

Some disclaimers!! A lot of these r assumptions btw! Pls do not take these things as 100% fact, this is just how i saw things/"theories". This is also not an attack on Jess, i dont have the authority to judge someone as a person and I dont claim to. these are very strictly my opinions on Mystreet, not Jess as a person. It's hard to take the early seasons very seriously considering its origins as essentially a tropey, slice-of-life version of MCD, and these tropes continue on throughout the series until (i can only assume) Jess went "oh, we're making this more serious, and if the series is more serious, these tropes (Travis being an anime perv, Katelyn being an anime tsundere, Nana's whole thing..) make certain characters unlikeable/weird/problematic/whatever else so we'll just write them out" (Travis confronting Katelyn, the whole Nana Ashida reveal).

While these are occasionally done well, to me it just seems like Jess trying to write out the tropey or bad things that came from the earliest versions of the characters without actually IRL addressing the initial issue with their design (with Nana even dating back as far as MCD, with her first appearance being 5 months before the the start of MyStreet. I'm counting the whole "Kawaii-chan" thing as problematic here bc to me it's.. weird.. but idk, im willing to be educated on that if im wrong!) maybe she doesnt NEED to address some of the character design choices irl but I feel like itd be better to clarify things (I could be wrong). There's a lot of earlier creative decisions (especially with things played as jokes) that don't help with the tone as the series became more and more serious, and even some things in those more serious seasons that were really questionable, and I often feel like I have to just decide which parts of certain episodes are canon or non canon because of things like that. Don't get me wrong, it's very good for something that started out with the technology that it did, but in my opinion it just doesn't really reach "show" quality to me. It leaves a lot to wish for. (I know that there are TV shows that have the same problems, but i wouldnt even bother watching them normally because they dont have the saving grace that is the fact that this is in Minecraft, a charming style of storytelling that kept me interested even when I had these major criticisms about the actual content of the story.) Anyways sorry for incoherent babbling! ^^; Just had to get that onto paper to see if I'm just being crazy or something. I know I might not be right about all (or even most) of the things I said here but thats just how it came across to me. TL;DR 'doubles' dont bother me because i believe in infinite alternate realities and that if someone else is also kanade then they're just a kanade from an alternate reality. does that make sense?

i still feel a disconnect between the kanade in prosekai and myself- the kanade i am. enough to where i can refer to her in the 3rd person comfortably. im not the same as her. there's differences, I can feel them. ill just refer to Kanade in the game as 'canon!kana'/'canon!me' because that's easiest;

the biggest difference between us is that, well, canon!me is human. she also isn't explicitly trans in any direction, and is also a hard worker. all of that is stuff that doesnt apply. im trans- im queer in every sense of the word. every inch of my identity is a little weird, a little 'out of the norm.' No part of me can be easily described to a lot of people. I do know, thankfully, that people in the real world can be accepting. My Nana supports xenogenders and she's in her early 70s. Granted, I am her main source of information on neurodivergency and queer identity, but I'm able to unbiasedly explain terms and gently guide her in the right direction. I would feel safe in admitting I am not human, and do not like physically being so. I'm lazy- admittedly due to depressive symptoms, but I do not like work. I generally just hate having to do physical activity- even just in-general work. The reason I'm almost-failing all of my classes in highschool is because I hate working for more than a few minutes at a time, especially consecutively.

Of course, I will say I am not a person who really experiences delusions. That isn't to say those who do are lesser or that I'm better- it's just a simple fact. Reasons why I think Crocodile is highkey queer in a trans way

Hello tumblr, your boy is back to cook once again.. I will list off all the reasons I think Crocodile (One Piece) is very queer (trans specifically) and my reasonings for it (Most of these will be based on my own theories btw, some/most of them arent based on canon)

I know its already a very popular headcanon but I wanted to list off WHY its so popular and even kinda implied!

Starting off strong with the main reasoning everyone tells you when you ask them why they hc it, his secret past with Ivankov. One Piece is no stranger to cooking with their villains' backstories/general past stories (the latter being the case for Croc, don't know if we will ever get his actual backstory) and Crocodile... has not been cooked yet. The only thing we know about him is his secret that only Ivankov knows, and based on how Croc acts with this secret it's safe to assume he would not want it out there... but why exactly???? I have a theory on that

Let's say he's trans, just assume it for a sec. Remember how queer people are treated in the OP universe. Although we can give the universe the benefit of the doubt and say the queerphobia isn't that bad to the point where queer people get killed just for being queer, they are very clearly outcasted. In the Impel Down arc we see this a lot, with everyone calling the New Kama soldiers either "a queer" (in the slur way) or a "pervert" (uncalled for tbh). I dont think the main reason Ivankov made the queer paradise was because they were outcasted, but I think that may be one of the reasons for it.

Now, still assuming Croc is trans, lets take a look at why my previous paragraph matters. If we go by the theory that he went to Iva and used their HRT powers to transition, this could be really bad for him if it came out! Like REALLY bad. There is a chance he could lose a large portion of his reputation and his intimidating aura even!! Besides the queerphobia, sexism is very apparent in the OP universe as well. I feel that if word got out that Croc is trans, people would not only be transphobic but also sexist towards him.

I don't think that Croc would get disheartened by all the negative thoughts people have about him, no. That would be very OOC. I think he wouldn't give two shits! But his reputation DOES matter to him, as a man that thrives to be a very strong and remarkable pirate (and also with his dream wanting to be the king of the pirates ofc).

2. Continuing from Impel Down arc, lemme ask you all a question.. did you notice how Crocodile very suddenly got his actual clothes back in the middle of the arc? Well I have an explanation for you. According to a question Oda answered himself, the New Kama prisoners steal clothes and they happened to steal his... for some reason. Why could this be exactly?????

Okay some of you may think I'm reaching (there is a lot of reaching in this essay), but I think that they may have done it as a favor to him knowing that they may meet him someday. JUST THINK ABOUT IT! Iva has history with Croc, they wouldnt ignore Crocs clothing I would think! My main theory is that Iva stole it with the thought of giving it back to Croc themself, maybe with the intention of making Croc join them? Whooo knows...

Now I want you all to think about the villains of OP. I'm not talking about those who are morally grey, like Hancock or Kuma for example. I'm talking about Moria, Doffy, Kaido etc etc. I already mentioned the queerphobia of the universe and how they are outcasted. I think my theory on the villains of one piece not respecting queer ppl as a whole has a chance to be partially correct. Im going to base this entire section on that theory, so feel free to skip if you disagree.

Crocodile as we know, is a horrible dude. Morally Black. No thoughts behind those eyes besides determination, hunger for power and the desperation for victory. I mean look at the dude, he looks damn bored all the time with the only times he shows emotions being when he has fun torturing people! We can safely say that Crocodile is that type of villain.

Now going back to the image, ASSUMING my theory that Crocodile and his past with Iva is based on him being queer, I like to think that he is more "kind" with queer people in general. Him letting a New Kama member do his laces may just be a representation of his power and superiority over the characters, but it could also hint at him specifically asking the New Kama member to do it (which is most likely the case). Why am I mentioning this? Well, as far as I can see, the New Kama member doesn't look scared. Could this be because they trust Croc maybe? Could the New Kama members know about Crocs support through Ivankovs depiction of him (without outing him Id assume)?

Yeah okay... too far of a reach maybe. But HEAR ME OUT ON THIS!!

Going straight from that theory, let me mention the best character in the show...... BONNNNN CLAYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Mr. 2 Themself.. I always thought its really interesting how Bon didnt have a partner while in Baroque Works. For those of you who dont know, the reason for this is because Bon Clay is a very queer individual, and often describes themself as being both genders! Due to this, they specifically went to Crocodile and asked to not have a partner. The partners in Baroque Works are always 1 man and 1 woman, and with Bon being both they didnt want a partner.

CROCODILE LITERALLY HAD NO REASON TO INDULGE IN THIS REQUEST IN ANY WAY??? Why would he, knowing that he will literally LOSE MANPOWER, accept this request at all? There are 2 outcomes to this question. 1, he trusts Bon Clays abilities.. or 2. He respected Bons identity enough to agree to this request. I personally think its the latter because why would he choose less manpower over more?? Even if he trusts Bons abilities, Bon is still vulnerable working alone, and there is no reason for him to not pair them up with anyone besides the identity thing. We constantly see him respect queer characters and even know he has a past with the MAIN QUEER THEMSELF! This is especially weird because he canonically looks down on everyone and thinks everyone is worthless unless theyre useful to him. I don't think any of this is a coincidence........ ONTO THE 3RD REASON!

3. This is Lil CrocTM.

Now, I have asked many people on this and it is confirmed I AM NOT REACHING! THAT KID IS ANDROGYNOUS AF! Yes you could argue he leans more on the masc side, but nevertheless him looking so androgynous as a kid may mean something... WOW! AN ACTUAL CANON REASON AS TO WHY HE MAY BE TRANS! APPLAUSE APPLAUSE

In this scene, he makes that face the second Iva mentions meeting him as a rookie.. hmm... could this be because he was a WOMAN back then?

Iva specifically says the words "revealing his past" and mentions only one weakness. If that secret was him being trans it would make a lot of sense!

If this is about the Peppino clone theory then alright, buckle up cheesebags

First of all it's a theory and a headcanon, not lore, I don't want anyone acting like what I'm saying is canon 😭

BUT ANYWHO

I just thought it's weird that Peppino supposedly has never seen the tower in his life before or he has but he gets no association with it BUT he is plastered all over the posters, graffiti, boxes, etc in the background like he was part of the team. There's even like toys and robots designed after his scrumptious physique.

He is just as cartoon character as the residents of the tower compared to the human levels of the outsiders like Gus and Stick. I mean yes, Gus can have exaggerated body parts but he is never as exaggerated as Peppino is

Next there's his malleability. I know this is a cartoon world with cartoon logic but alllll I'm saying is why doesn't Gus have that same whackiness? It's all mostly Brick doing the comedy. The most we have to Gus deforming his body was during the double jump where he turns into a ball.

Peppino on the other hand? Turned to cheese, turned to a pizza, turned to a puppet, able to handle being in the front of a rocket, his body contorts during exaggeration of poses, way faster on foot than a rat etc.

Next reason, the WAR level and the very confusing and retconned implication of what Peppino did.

Some say it was canon that he was an actual veteran, some say he was technically not a soldier but a pizza delivery guy for the soldiers, and some say he accidentally wound up in the crossfires.

Other than the war setting, the level, for zero reason or explanation, transitioned to a laboratory with clones of Peppino and the big ass tube in the bg has Pillar John in it. Cloning is not new to the tower but by god are they SHIT AT IT

it's so stupid, he looks like he wanna die and he isn't even born yet, that's how you know you're getting a Peppino variant njsngjksrkj

but anwyay back to topic

I'm pretty sure we all think that the WAR level is the tower's last attempt at getting rid of Peppino by making a horrendous cheap move with making him relive his trauma. I love that take so much man, to think that the tower is this desperate because Peppino is SO CLOSE to destroying it that it didn't even have Pizza Time but a constantly ticking timer.

It makes sense with the war part of the level. That is clearly a traumatic event but then it turned to a lab which gets confusing.

I kinda stitched the two together and made them two different memories. The first one came from the original person the clones are based off and the other is Peppino's. I like to think that Faker and Peppino are opposites lol. Peppino has the perfectly structured body but not the mental stability while Faker is smart as hell despite being animalistic with a constantly shambling body. They're sorta the best ones to come out of the lab. but yeah, sorry for putting that tangent there. It's so to give a little context with how Peppino remembers stuff.

His brain is done fucked up that he cannot tell which memories are from him or from Bruno. It's like when you're dreaming and you already have stock knowledge in the dream's universe and it just hurts your brain when you try to pinpoint when exactly you got that information. He'd say some shit about his childhood and full believes he was the kid in the memory, and to Peppino he'd admit that all his memories are hella fuzzy for some reason but he just shrugs it off with "I'm just getting old". Also he kinda gets dreams about the lab and shrugs it off as some weird ass nightmare about the restaurant debt lmao.

(btw, Faker is well aware about Bruno's memories and know how to distinguish it from his own. I really love interpreting him as the alpha of all clones, it's so fun)

But yeah those are my reasons why I formulated and headcanoned Peppino as a clone.

All else that you need to know about this is that Peppino escapes, spends time in the real world, forgets his origins because brains are weird and it does this thing where it forgets traumatic events, and runs the restaurant (instinctual thing???), and seeing that Peppino is thriving on his own, Pizzahead thought how funny it would be to bring his ass back to the tower. Pizzahead is Pizzahead, his choices are whack asf

but all in all, I have always interpreted clone Peppino in all my silly little doodles gbjsbgksrbkj but like no one's gonna ask about it so I never made a peep nor a sound. But now you know lmao, which would raise questions that I'm more than happy to indulge
