Obvi that particular person straight up copied whole drawings of yours many times, and that’s an extreme case where it’s easy to see that they’re far out of bounds. i separate my fan art from my original art in my head, since fan art so often breaches containment and a lot of people treat it like a community thing, i’ve adjusted my boundaries around it for my own ease.

in short: you can do whatever you want with my good omens fan art. obviously prefer if credit is given where possible, always given if asked, and always displayed clearly if you’re tracing it for whatever reason.

i’m a little more protective of my original art, so i hope this makes sense:

you can trace my original art if you’re giving it to me as fan art of my work. people have done “redraws” before and i love them.

i’m ofc okay with the kind of inspiration that comes up naturally, like, “oh i love how that elf has big floppy bunny ears, i wanna give my elf ears like that!” and same goes for anything that my art might inspire, that you then tweak for yourself

i generally wouldn’t recommend copying my poses 1:1 anyway, since my anatomy can be pretty borked at times, and when it’s stronger i’ve likely used a photo reference. you’re welcome to ask for the references i’ve used for any given piece 💛

slightly less related but you CAN use my original art for icons and banners, but credit is mandatory. i would also prefer if it’s only characters that appear in my stories (rechargeable, paranomads etc), bc i think i’d feel weird if someone used a free floating OC (mister b, my vampire lesbians etc) as a pfp

you can also do whatever the hell you want, no boundaries, if you’re keeping it to yourself. i’ll never know and can’t stop you. so if tracing all my work helps you further your art (i’d hope it’s not the only thing you’re doing, or it’d be to your artistic detriment), i’m fine with that if you’re keeping it metaphorically tucked under your mattress, for your eyes only ☺️

He just hates seeing the fanon version of himself honestly. Any other Scott Pilgrim content is fine.

Favorite plot element and least favorite plot element go

My favorite plot element has got to be Jason’s side plot and slow descent into madness in season 4, hence the pfp. I love him to pieces. He’s the protagonist of his own old theatre tragedy (a la the Odyssey or a Shakespeare work. More Shakespeare ngl). I can elaborate on that btw if asked.

My least favorite plot element has got to be the tweens’ plotline in season 3 (honestly pick any of them it’s all forgettable). This is entirely out of personal taste but the first half of season 3 had most of the stuff that had to do with the tweens was just,,, relationship drama. Which is GREAT for the target audience of young teenagers who love young teenage drama but at the same time. I am too aromantic for this I simply do not care.

None of it was actually STUPID, however- a lot of the show can range from great to merely mid, hence the need for this blog as something that’s merely for the whole ‘it’s okay but it COULD be sick as hell’ gripe.

But, honorable mentions:

1. I don’t like how Steve has lost almost all of his interesting morally questionable stuff from season 1 and has kind of been reduced to a much less interesting knightly himbo. His arc of becoming a better person happened way too long ago and now he feels like fandom bait.

2. I don’t like how Jason died. Idk if I mentioned it but it just seemed almost… TOO cruel, like it was designed for the audience to cheer as this guy met a comically gruesome death. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

1. I really loved the Will plot in season 2. The parts where he’s dealing with the mind Flayer are… so. So good.

2. I really liked the scene where Nancy and Jonathan show the scars on their hands. It felt really nice and intimate and I actually felt like they knew each other well enough to have a really nice romance.

i've only seen dm, some of arcv, 20 episodes of season zero and early parts of gx i am so slow but gx has been my favorite! season zero and gx have a very similar charm abt them. i dont really have a favorite persay but the amusement park episode of s0 and my most rewatched episode of gx has been tennis episode and a maiden in love. the most recent one i rewatched was the one where they entered the abandoned dorm!

I have gotten myself into a pickle IRL stuff is stopping me from Having time to write but I am writing when I can and also doing my own things I love this AU and I sadly do have to drop a few projects because my life is getting too cluttered and I'll never end up getting anything done so Inkweaver won't happen, not yet, maybe as my schedule is less hectic, but as a small UTAU creator myself I do want to make this comic to highlight other small AUs

haikyuu!!: I'm all caught up, manga and anime-wise! also patiently waiting for the last (😭) movie that should've been a season but anyways they better not fuck this up too much- (update: battle of the garbage dumpster was wonderful even if they couldn't animate everything... it was just so short. I really hope someone decides to adapt it into a proper season at some point)

tian guan ci fu / heaven official's blessing (as of June 2024, I've finished s2 and tgcf is amazing it's wonderful, I've started book 1 and am currently procrastinating on reading it)

if you're here for pjo, um. those fics are truly discontinued/on indefinite hiatus. that hasn't changed. I watched the show and I'm actually reading pjo fics again from time to time so if I get inspired enough and manage to plan out a decent fic out of Percy Jackson Revealed,,,, then maybe there shall be a fic. But!!! I have no idea what the ending is gonna be, and without an ending I'm doing nothing because the chances of me dropping the fic (again) would be higher than my anxiety during exam season (aka very very high)

unnamed grishaverse project: yeah so, I have a project going with my friend noel @fifteenth-entity, we're fixing the darkling! this fic will take place like around 50-100 years pre-alina, and will feature the darkling doing darkling things while that generation's most prominent grisha (aka a bunch of queers) also do things that may or may not affect the darkling. and his views. and personality. there may or may not be character development in the works. (there is, he gets better). this fic is canon divergent before canon even happens. the entire plot of shadow and bone will be eventually reworked. (also, no darklina, no darkling romance, in general, this boy needs to get mentally healthy first and foremost and I'm also writing him as aroace sooo) [for more info on this just search "unnamed grishaverse project", it's the tag I've used in like the only post about this. do feel free to send me an ask about this tho!!]

ice adolescence-esque fic: mappa fucked up majorly with canceling iceado and im supremely annoyed, mad, and upset. it just so happens that I was in the middle of my yoi renaissance era when the news came out so with my obsession going strong, I really wanted to try doing something with iceado. this is not going to be a very linear story, im going around and about in different points in time. the first narrative follows viktor at 17ish deciding to try to ratify the quad flip and it includes some insight on his friends and family (who are OCs, im not sorry, his backstory is so barren, i had to!) and on how he ended up so alone by the time yoi was happening. the second narrative is post-yoi viktor coming back to russia ft yuuri, yuri & yakov. this is not a russian gov-positive fic. russian culture is very interesting and some russians are wonderful people —diversity is a thing, after all— but to be perfectly clear, fuck the russian government and everyone supporting their actions. what they're doing is inhumane. [posts about this project will be tagged as "dee's iceado"! ]

I'm the oldest of the band. I'm a bit of a self-proclaimed older sister to the others and I feel super protective of them. When I'm not making music with the band you can usually find me working on my comic or some other artistic pursuit. I'm a chronically exhausted college student. You can tell what songs I wrote by them having a more jazzy or melancholy tone to them or just being bat-shit off the walls insane. Some of my inspirations are MCR, Scene Queen, , Set It Off, and Demi Lovato (for some reason).

I take a lot of influence from older punk rock and, surprisingly, country and folk music. my favorite bands are My Chemical Romance, Oingo Boingo, They Might Be Giants, The Cure, Talking Heads, Bikini Kill, Shilpa Ray, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Iron Maiden, The Magnetic Fields, The Daniel Pemberton TV Orchestra, Lemon Demon, Man or Astro-Man, Radiohead (not in a pretentious way, I swear), Will Wood, Creedence Clearwater Revival… oh boy, there’s a lot. I like music! I tend to disappear at unpredictable intervals due to chronic pain/fatigue and parental restrictions, but I always come back. I keep my dad’s old stenobook by my bedside to write lyrics in - he wrote lyrics for the Panama City punk bands he was in in 1990-ish in there, and I figured I could put it to good use again after all these years. he’s cool with it. see you around, and stay safe out there 🪲
