You got any headcanons on how Doc n' Clara court or how their love language works or-or-

how their wedding went??

(haha I am so normal abt these two scrunklies)

*pulls out "until i get home"* okay, let's see what my 15-year old self wrote about them

let me split this up a little.

love language:

i like to think that while they are affectionate, they're not much into physical touch. both doc and clara prefer deep conversations about their interests or about each other over any kind of physical contact, and they're super fine with it

doc showers clara with gifts related to her interests, including science, because this is simply the first time he ever felt truly understood with his passions (sorry marty)

clara, on the other hand, loves fo spoil doc with homemade food (especially after learning that all the man ever ate were burgers and fries)

they enjoy going to cultural events and buildings together, like museum or exhibits or theaters

clara also loves that doc is super good with children (even though the guy claims otherwise). however, thay always split their time with their kids equally - and clara lets doc spend plenty of time with his oldest child ;)

their favorite type of dates ate stargazing dates, going horse riding or just spending time at home together

wedding:

i like to think that it was a small wedding. maggie and seamus were invited, as well as william, because they did welcome kids at their wedding

they probably spent their honeymoon somewhere in nature, if they had one at all. hill valley is also nice for stargazing

they did have a cool cake though

they're also not very traditional, so they may have skipped some wedding traditions that were considered a must at that time (earning disapproving gazes from clara's parents)

🕰️If you were to insert yourself into the trilogy, what year would you come from? My own time, honestly; it'd be an interesting juxtaposition to Doc's vision of the 21st Century and different situations for Doc and Marty to navigate

✒️You are hired to write/draw a new bttf comic, and it can be about whatever you want. what in the bttf universe would you want to expand on? In an answer that will surprise no one, the continuation of the musical timeline; as the Tropes page for the musical pointed out, the exact events of part II (and by extension, pt III) can't happen since Doc's voice activation lock means that Biff won't be able to steal the DeLorean and create the 1985A timeline like he did in the movie. That being said, there are plenty of other shenanigans for Doc and Marty to get into, and I'm sure they'd end up in 1885 some other way, resulting in Clara coming back with them to 1985.

👀Share a random headcanon you have about your favorite character! Doc, especially musical!Doc is very asexual. Movie!Doc can be considered demisexual with how he fell head over heels for Clara and no one else, but musical!Doc, I feel, is so asexual that he wouldn't have fallen for Clara that quickly, but does bring her back with him and Marty to 1985, and their relationship progresses at a much, much slower rate, with Doc having no clue how to go about having a relationship and Marty gleefully getting to throw Doc's previous "interact in a socially significant situation" bit right back at him (probably with a reprise of "Put Your Mind to It").

❓What is one question you would love to ask Bob Gale? Was musical!Doc's ace-coding intentional or just a happy accident? (According to the Making Of book, Roger also got a lot of say in Doc's portrayal so I'm wondering was that possibly his doing, too. *happy ace flailing*)

⏲️What time period would you want Marty to travel to and what would you want him to do? For fun or for something serious? I really, really would love to see Marty go back in time to the 30s again and go on a McGuffin retrieval quest with Indiana Jones. Both 80s Doc and 30s Emmett are involved in some capacity (with 80s Doc desperately trying to stay out of his past self's way because paradoxes). Could also lead to something full-circle with 1969 Lone Pine Doc assisting Indy with the Dial of Destiny and all that time-travel stuff, and Indy trying to wrap his brain around the fact that the one-year-old that Doc is babysitting for the McFlys is, in fact, the same young man who was running around in the 30s helping him out.

Marty and the family Brown headcanons

Emmett made a very big aquarium for Jules and Vernes fishes. Marty helped the boys to choose the fishes, decoration and names.

Then fishes' names are Lewis, Berry, Simone, Bowie, Jackson and Etta, because science but also music are important in Brown house !

Emmett learned with Jules and Verne how to skateboard thanks to Marty.

Clara is totally in love with 80's clothes style, especially hawaiian shirts of Emmett ! She loves wearing jeans and blouses.

At the Brown mansion, there's present consoles; NES and Master system, but also some future ones, playstation 1 and 2, and the Wii. Clara, Jules and Verne loves playing Mario Party, Emmett and Marty are more into Mario kart ! Marty's favorite playstation games are Spyro and Ratchet & Clank.

There's also maaany vinyles, present songs, and ofc futures ones. Marty is amazed how some future songs sound, especially when there's distorsion or autotune.

Clara helps Jules and Verne for their homeworks, Emmett helps Marty for his.

Jules and Verne love so much cuddle Einstein and play fetch with him. But taking him out twice per day is ngl boring for them, so Emmett does it, with Marty the days he visits the family after highschool.

At least once per month, just Emmett and Marty do a little trip while a weekend. It's half for fun, but also and especially to 'rest' after all what happened. Talk about it and comfort each other, mostly with hugs.

Marty goes over to Doc's whenever it thunderstorms. Not for a long time, just enough to check up on him. More specifically, to see if he's still there. Idk sounded cool to me B]

Alright!! Here we gooo:

Marty is transmasc, and his parents don't really care if he is or isn't that much. Doc finds out one day and is absolutely ecstatic to support Marty and asks him questions about it.

Marty and Doc are both autistic and equally socially awkward. Marty has learned to mask, but tends to unmask a bit more around Doc

If Doc could, he would absolutely adopt Marty at the first chance he gets. He doesn't tend to admit it, but Marty is absolutely like a son to him.

George Mcfly is fucking autistic and I genuinely think this is almost canon.

Marty is a sci-fi fan cause that's all George ever used to watch. Doc is also a sci-fi fan and ended up infodumping to Marty about Star Trek once while they were working.

Marty definitely thinks Kirk and Spock were gay./hj

When Marty was younger, he climbed out of his window once and ran all the way to Doc's after an argument with his parents. Doc was awake, thankfully, and they both sorta just chilled out and talked till they fell asleep.

Doc never sleeps. Like. Ever. Marty doesn't know how the man still functions

Marty TRIES to stay up late, but ends up passing out at about midnight (unless he's had coffee or something)

Einstein LOVES Marty. I mean, I'm pretty sure he loves everyone, but if he was sitting in a room with people, he'd go over to Marty to lay on him.

Doc almost never gets sick and is surprisingly strong for a 71 year old (especially after the rejuvenation in part 2).

When Marty gets sick, he refuses to acknowledge it. It becomes a real issue sometimes.

Marty has fallen asleep in Doc's garage more than he'd like to admit.

Doc definitely bit people as a kid/hj

Marty will defend Doc with his LIFE. He constantly combatted the rumours about Doc around the school and always tried his best to let everyone know Doc was actually a great guy.

Twin pines timeline George and Lorraine didn't give a shit that Marty was with a man deemed to be literally insane and disgraced by the town , but Lone pine timeline Lorraine and George met Doc at some point and like him somewhat.

Doc is terrified of cats, but Clara LOVES them. He was hoping that when they got a cat, Einstein would chase it away or constantly bark at it enough that it just left.....Einstein loves the cat.

Jules and Verne absolutely adore Marty and see him as a big brother. Marty loves them just as equally.

He's not dating Jennifer. He catcalls Jennifer all the time at school, but she scoffs at this crude ruffian because she's still the Jennifer we know and love.

Even though he calls the Libyans to tell them where Doc will be the night of the DeLorean reveal, they totally betray him and start shooting at him, too, which leads us to the spectacular adventure of No Pines Marty in 1955 trying to rescue the crackpot scientist he just sold out to terrorists.

He is having a blast in 1985A

He's so flippant and nonchalant about how despicable he is but he doesn't brag/ boast/ egg people on like Needles does. You stay away from him, and he'll probably stay away from you unless he gets inspired.

I don't even know what would happen in the Old West. I don't even think he'd go back, but Doc somehow tricks him into it? Then, when he's there, he squares up to Buford immediately. And then he's somehow invited to join the gang? IDK.

Clara totally slaps him at one point

Cringe isn’t a thing I’m currently hyperfixating on bttf but also PAW patrol…

Marty and Doc in PAW patrol. I have three ideas.

1: Doc’s just…doc (obviously his character would be dumbed down a bit because I mean my nine year old sister can’t even understand bttf lol) and Marty’s his pup companion. Think Jake and Everest, Carlos and Tracker. They still do science stuff and are close companions to Ryder and the pups.

2: the same thing, but Einstein is the pup companion and this time Marty is a human alongside doc!!! I can’t think of a time when there’s been a pup with two owners in the show so this would be interesting!

3: Marty and Doc are both pups. Well, dogs. Doc’s a fully grown dog which again, we haven’t seen any adult dogs in the series so far so this would be cool!!!

In all versions, they’re involved with science and would help invent new things for the PAW patrol. Also Pup!Marty would defo skateboard and I’m thinking his vehicle would either be his truck or the delorean..perhaps time travel could come into the picture?

Professor Brown stood at the front of the classroom,

"Trains. Their tracks are truly fascinating, if you ask me. If left abandoned, they seem like portals to the past. If you look at what they're doing with them nowadays, they seem like the path to the future."

Although he had quit teaching many years before, Dr. Emmett Brown had been invited to teach a seminar about trains and their importance in technology.

He had been chosen because he himself operated a train recreationally on the previously forgotten tracks around Eastwood Ravine. Or, that's what most of Hill Valley thought.

"To add to that, the track appears to span infinitely to each side, much like time goes infinitely both forward and backward. And that's what leads me to my lecture about the train's influence on the world of transportation…"

Professor Brown had a large audience that day, but one student in particular stood out from the rest. He sat smiling in today's "History of Technology" class. Although he should've thought about whether he liked all of history in general before majoring in it, today was different.

As Marty McFly sat writing notes on the lecture, he couldn't help but think about the day he arrived on those train tracks by the ravine. The day he finally came home.

The day he went back to the future.
