Hiii. I was watching the live from april where Jungkookie cooks the makugsu recipe for us, and there are two ✨️special✨️ moments:)

Around the 34:50 min he suddenly says "Im nauseous."

And at the 1:28:00 min he says "Oh Im full. If I will sleep like this I'll feel nauseous the next day again."... but like.. AGAIN? He has gone through something if this was going to be the second time? Did he got sick one time???

He said in a live from 2017 or 2018 idk exactly where, but he was with Hobi, it was his live and JK came in to talk a little bit with us, and Hobi was eating his dinner. When Hobi asked him to take one bite, after Kook said that it looks delicious, he said that he gets sick if he eats late at night. Maybe he got sick one time around that time?

Hey! You might know me as readyfortakeoff on ao3, but I decided to make an account here because I noticed the kpop sickfic community was fairly active here (and there are several authors on here that I admire that I would like to support).

A little about me and what I write—

I mostly stan NCT and that's reflected in my fics, haha. My ults are Kun and Jaemin, but I'll pretty much write anything for any member of any unit & any relationship since I know them all so well (excluding Wish for now).

I also recently started stanning ZB1 and feel like I have a pretty good grasp on their personalities, so requests for them are also welcome!

I'm also very familiar with the members of BTS, TXT, and Stray Kids. I'm pretty into SKZ right now too, but not much with BTS or TXT.

There's a few groups that I'm only familiar with a few members of, like Seventeen and RIIZE. I mostly have an idea of a few members' personalities but not much about their relationships.

As for scenarios I write about—

My fics are almost always sickfics with some sort of underlying moral to be learned (you'll understand if you look at them).

I've only written about stomach-related illness so far, but would definitely like to try out other scenarios.

So now that all of that is down, here's info if you want to request something!

I am mostly doing this just for fun so there's a chance I turn down your idea for seemingly no reason (but it's actually just because I'm not confident that I can write it lol). Your idea might be better suited to another author if so.

Please be specific in your prompt and what you want/don't want.

A few things that I won't write—snz, scat, urination, smut, x reader... and basically anything else that's inherently fetish-related or explicit.

What I'm most confident in writing—stomach aches, emeto, fevers, mental health struggles—even a few hurt/comfort tropes, like fluff, cuddling etc. General hurt/comfort requests would actually be greatly welcomed along with sickfics!

I'd be most likely to answer requests about NCT and SKZ. You can also inquire about members of the other groups I mentioned, but I might need a quick description of their dynamic with the caretaker.

A quick note about emeto—I only enjoy emeto up until it reaches a loss of control extent (e.g. I can't bring myself to write it when it gets to the sickie throwing up anywhere but a receptacle). Just be aware that I might change your request a little if it goes into that territory!

When they come back, Hobi makes them all tea

Jungkookie asks for someone's pink hoodie because it's soft

JK also goes from chilled to overheating quickly after the walk (like that walk was a bad idea lol)

1. what’s your favourite genre to write?

Hurt comfort / sickfic. Comfort has always been a favourite of mine and for sure being able to put myself or the characters I’m writing for in a comforted position makes me happy. Yes. I am living vicariously through my fics. Honestly, dream situation / based or sourced situations too, like, stories based on a song or movie or series, or a real life situation that happened. 

2. do you pull inspiration from real-life, or do you pull things from other books/fanfic?

Yes I pull from real life often or music. I wrote a whole cod headcannons chapter based off of the album crybaby once, and it’s my favourite ever. I still haven’t released it. Or my sapnap Christmas fic, based off of a dream I had about Christmas. 

3. do you tend to write one-shots, short stories, or longer things?

It’s a mix really I enjoy it all, so sometimes it’s a long one shot, or a short one, or it’s a 10 chapter story like my fic viridity. In the world of rewriting it as we speak. 

4. do you prefer description or dialogue?

BOTH. Even though description is my main these days, I used to do heavy Instagram / text fics when I was in my bts fic arc. I still need to do more of that, I’ve been considering doing that recently for supernatural or call of duty. Like a college type thing. 

5. favourite fanfic/book of all time?

Probably the ugliest professor on wattpad. It’s a really good namjin fanfic that I have in my favourites. It’s by HobisHearteu if you’d like to go check it out or it’s in my Shit Man I’m Brain Fckd list on wattpad (i am doitinmyjaebum on wattpad)

6. favorite trope?

Probably doctor / patient or barista / customer. Mainly a soft / scary trope has always been my favourite. Though recently I’ve been indulging in found family / little brother work. It makes my inner child happy. 

7. are you the kind of person to work on more than one wip?

WIP WIP WIP. MORE THAN ONE. I HAVE LIKE 70 ATM. Tommyinnits guide to making friends is still in the works and so is A Burning love for Juliet (castiel x reader). I have about 5 others at the moment. They’ll find their way out eventually

8. how long have you been writing for?

Since I can remember being able to write essays. Maybe since 3rd grade? My first ever fic was two oc’s diamond and Ruby. It was when I thought I was straight and just enjoyed putting boys and boys together and girls and girls. No dude. Ur just a gay guy. 

9. do you tend to write more during the morning, afternoon, or evening?

Night and evening tbh. It’s when I’m most creative cause my friends are all asleep and I have pure freedom of the mind. I Can throw my music on and enjoy the idea flow. 

10. do you prefer to post your wip chapter by chapter, or do you prefer to wait until your wip is 100% finished before posting?

OH GOD THIS ONE UHHHH it’s a mix 💀💀 I can never pick one honestly. I do both all the time. I’ll post like a part one of like a ghost x reader then post a full 6 part of like dean x reader slow burn. I CANT wait to start posting on this acc!!

Imagine: insecure SJ fic idea I've had in my head all day! So I'll share it here.

Jin's never noticed it before. But when the younger ones call for a hyung, they never mean him. He picks up on it several times over the span of weeks. The younger members have just fallen into the habit of saying "hyung" not specifying whose attention their trying to get. So as the oldest hyung, Jin always turn to look. He wants to help his dongsaengs. But when he looks at them it's always "sorry, I meant Hobi-hyung." Or namjoon-hyung, or yoongi-hyung. It's never him. Even if it's something he'd be good at. Tae asks Yoongi for cooking advice, and JK asks Hobi for home remedies, and Jimin goes to Namjoon for cuddles. It's like a game of musical hyungs, but he's always left without a seat, without a dongsaeng to pamper with his unrestrained affection. It starts to make him feel left out, a feeling he heavily internalizes. It doesn't really affect his work, he's still acting like himself around them. Still providing the highest quality and joking around with them when he can. But he stops the knee jerk reaction of hearing the word "hyung." He doesn't turn to look, already assuming it's not for him. He basically blocks the word out all together. No one seems to notice the subtle change.

Everyone but Yoongi is sitting in the living room, sharing snacks and watching the latest trending k-drama that Yoongi's too busy too busy to care about. Yoongi decided to stay in his studio when everyone else went home for the night. It's around midnight when Yoongi gets back. They hear him enter and fumble to take off his shoes. Theirs a joint telepathic thought that passes through all their minds when when they hear it. Midnight is early for the oldest rapper. But it all makes sense when he enters all sweaty and flushed and sad. The younger members all interrogate him, but he brushes them off and says he's going to bed. He tells them not to worry. So they keep on as they were, but they lower the volume a bit just in case Yoongi calls for them.

It's almost another hour and Yoongi's still not sleeping. He doesn't feel well, he's tossing and turning and too nauseous to keep tossing and turning or it will end badly. He's sick and he doesn't want to be alone. He wants someone to take care of him. Someone he trusts. Someone that feels like home. So he pushes himself out of bed and wraps a blanket around his shoulders. He finds himself halfway down the stairs before he's too dizzy to take another step. He stands there, gripping the railing tight and starts calling out "Hyung. Hyungie. Hyung." His voice is more quiet than usual, and he doesn't shout too loud because it might upset his stomach. But he keeps calling out. When his call goes unanswered a 10th time, he starts to tear up.

Everyone can hear Yoongi calling. The stairs aren't far from the living room. Jin doesn't move though. The five youngest exchange some looks, raised eyebrows and shoulder shrugs. Jimin even subtley glances over to the oldest to see if he maybe fell asleep. But he's not. He's wide awake and just letting a sick Yoongi cry for him. Eventually, Hobi snaps in front of Jin's face. "Earth to Jin-hyung." He gets his attention. "Don't you hear Yoongi-hyung? He's calling you."

Yes, Seokjin did hear Yoongi's fragile voice calling out for a hyung. But he tuned it out. He figures there's no way Yoongi wanted him. But then it dawns on him that he is Yoongi's only hyung. He's the only one Yoongi can turn to when he needs a hyung. He the one Yoongi wants. He jumps off the couch and runs to the stairs. Yoongi's already got damp cheeks by the time Jin makes it. "Shhh, shhhh. Yoongi-yah. It's okay. Hyung is here." He consoles. "Tell hyung what's wrong." He has to admit. It feels good to call himself hyung again. Yoongi clings to him and complains he doesn't feel good. He tells Jin all about his nauseous belly and his icy bones and his splitting headache. Jin listens, petting Yoongi's hair the whole time. "Poor Yoonie. Don't you worry, Yoongichi. Hyung will take care of you. Let's get you back to bed okay?" He takes Yoongi back to his room and tucks him back into bed. He gathers some supplies then climbs into bed beside the ill rapper. And every time Yoongi calls him hyung, he turns at full attention.

When I started writing out the main idea from my head, it just kept going! I guess you could call this more of a drabble than an imagine prompt?? Maybe someday I'll come back and really flesh it out. Unless someone else wants to write it? Knock yourself out.

So midterms are finally over and I could not be more excited! I’ve had a ton of help and encouragement with the littlespace fic I posted about a while back, and I’d like to send a special shout-out to @teacupswithteapots , @honeyjoonieee , @sneezyminniejo , @thatoneemokpop-02 , @bt20-whump and @ggukie91 for all the encouragement and ideas! 

This is currently my thought process for the fic, so I’m sort of drafting here and things are up for a little change if I start typing and then think of something else lol. But, without further ado, here are some things to look forward to!

They had used a burner phone to talk to the girl, not wanting to risk her tracing the number back to one of them. It had been Jungkook's idea; he found the girl's Instagram page, where she frequently posted pictures of herself, her dogs, and her friends. A quick DM and an hour later, Jungkook got her phone number and the two were texting daily.

He found out so much about the girl: her name was Ophelia, she lived in a small town in America, her dogs were named Gengi and Jingob, she had a younger brother named Henry and a 6-month-old sister named Rose, her father was Korean and her mother was Israeli. She had naturally dark, curly hair, but she frequently bleached and straightened it (right now it was an adorable baby pink). When she was born, her mother wasn't together with her father, so she was named Ophelia Felicite Potter, but her father forced her mother to change her name to Ophelia Lynn Park once they had officially started dating three months later. Henry, her little brother, was in Junior High, and Ophelia always drove him to school, since their town was so small that their Middle School, High School, and Community College were all in one building. 

Eventually, the rest of the boys began talking to her. All seven of them were pretending to be one person, a 19-year-old named Ian. Of course, Ophelia believed everything 'Ian' said. She had told them that she never had a boyfriend before, and absolutely loved the attention she was receiving for the first time. Even though she was still young, naive, and too trusting, she was still smart- both academically and morally. Whenever 'Ian' asked for nudes, she refused, which both pissed off and pleased the boys.

It was important that Ophelia never found out who they truly were. At least, not yet. The boys were heirs of one of the biggest mafia rings in South Korea, and they all knew that if the girl found out, the fake number would be blocked immediately. Even though the seven of them weren't important members in the business- their fathers and older brothers were more active than them, they were more of the poster kids- they were still expected to keep certain things private in order to keep them safe and their fathers in power. 

They decided that Ophelia would be one of the things they kept private.

'i have a surprise for you in an hour!! :D'

God, the kid was so cute. Seokjin looked down at the phone as the text alert caused the coffee table to gently vibrate. He smiled as he sent his reply.

'Why can't I have the surprise now?'

A moment later Ophelia's reply pinged.

'i'm in class right now and im fairly certain you dont want calculus as your surprise'

'Alright, I'll wait. Do your schoolwork.'

'dont tell me what to do love u xxx'

Seokjin smiled again and put the phone in his pocket. It was currently three in the morning in Seoul, so two in the afternoon Ophelia's time. She gets out of school at 2:25, so it wouldn't be long before Jin received the 'surprise' Ophelia was talking about. 

Jin idly played on his own phone, waiting for another text from the girl, when he heard footsteps coming down the stairs. He turned his head towards the noise to find Namjoon approaching him.

"Hyung, what are you doing up?" Namjoon asked, voice deep and rough with sleep. In the back of his mind, he knew he was texting Ophelia, but if something important had happened he wanted to know. 

"Ophelia's getting out of school soon and she has a surprise for us." Namjoon hummed in response. He never was as obsessed with Ophelia as the other boys, but he had talked to her quite a few times. 

Jin grabbed Namjoon's hand and guided him to lay on the couch with him. Namjoon immediately curled into his boyfriend, breathing in the lingering scent of his cologne. One of Jin's hands began stroking the younger's hair while the other continued aimlessly scrolling through his emails. 

Namjoon quickly fell asleep again, and the burner phone pinged soon after that. Jin carefully took the phone out of his back pocket, trying not to wake his sleeping beauty, and became excited as he saw Ophelia had sent a picture message. He quickly opened the messaging app and cooed at what the girl had sent. 

She had sent a mirror picture of her in a dress. The dress was a flowing red ball gown with gold accents on the waist. Ophelia looked absolutely beautiful in it, and Jin quickly saved the picture to send to his real phone. 

'prom is in a month and i really wish i could go with you. what do you think of this dress? someone told me this shade of red suits me but idk'

Prom. Ophelia would be going to prom with someone other than Jin or one of the other boys. While one of them taking her was unrealistic and impossible, it still pained him to think that it wouldn't be him. 

'You look stunning. I wish I could see it in person.'

'<;3 :)'

Jin put the phone back on the table, smiled, and closed his eyes. He was absolutely whipped.

Once the rest of the boys woke up, the dress was the main discussion at breakfast.

"I think she looks adorable in it," Taehyung said, "Just look at her face in the picture- it's obvious she's in love with it, too."

"But its too mature for her! It shows off too much!" Jimin said, his voice distressed. 

"Jimin, she's not our baby yet. Once we have her then you can decide what is and isn't too big for her," said Namjoon. 

For the past month, they had been preparing a plan to bring Ophelia to Korea with them. They wanted her to be their Little, and them be her Daddies. Some of them were more excited than others (Jin and Jimin were both ecstatic about this), but all of them had warmed up to the idea. Hoseok, Jimin, and Taehyung had gone crazy over putting together a nursery and clothes shopping. It had been easy to find childlike clothes in Ophelia's size, including a car seat, since Ophelia was rather small for her age. 

They had decided what they would be called almost as soon as they got the idea of Ophelia being a Little. Namjoon and Jin would be the main caregivers, with Namjoon being Appa and Jin being Eomma. Yoongi and Jimin would also be her caretakers, Yoongi being Daddy and Jimin being Mommy. Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jungkook would be less of caretakers and more of playmates, but they still wanted to spend time with Ophelia. 

Luckily, they had a business meeting in America in two weeks, which would be relatively close to where Ophelia lives (thanks to careful mapping done by Jungkook), so they could take her and bring her home with them with ease. The boys knew Ophelia would have a much better life with them.

I have a drabble idea as I was driving home from work just now, at this very moment, and now I have to fulfill it:

Taehyung buys his own car and he and the rest of the maknae line wait until super late in the night to take his new wheels out for a joy ride. And they’re having a freaking blast 💥 Cruising on the highways is exhilarating and the music is loud and perfect and they three of them are singing to the rushing night breeze on their faces, and Taehyung’s driving is excellent, but Jimin’s stomach is starting to flip after 20 minutes, with all the tight curves and the dips and rises of the subtle hills on the roads.

But he doesn’t want to kill the fun so he tries to hide it, torturing himself until too late when he bursts, violently, spraying some of the dashboard in the front passenger seat, and all along the inside compartment of the closed door. . .😬

I imagine a devastatingly embarrassed and mortified chimmy, wanting to drown himself in mantras of his own self torment, wondering how he could ever repay Tae for ruining his brand new car, and taehyung thinking nothing of the sort, just completely worried, forgetting Jimin has the worst motion sickness ever in general and wondering if Jimin is actually sick the way his stomach just keeps going, wringing him dry, rippling his body with uncontrollable tremors. He pulls over immediately and jungkook rushes out of the car to open jimin’s door and help him lean over gravel to be sick on instead, rubbing his back and gently ordering him to stop trying to speak while his throat keeps squeezing mouthfuls of liquid out of him. Taehyung isn’t in a safe side of the road to get out so he keeps a hand pressed into jimin’s back.

They can’t stop to clean the mess because they can’t risk being seen by the public eye, so they head straight home, with jungkook now holding Jimin in the backseat, squeezing him close because the boy is inconsolable with his tears. Not even jungkook’s forehead kisses are enough to calm him down.

I can imagine Taehyung not even paying his new ride any mind when they pull into the garage and go inside. He just decides he’ll deal with the mess in the morning.

I got carried away—this was just supposed to be a post about me having an idea 😂. A sentence of an idea. But this will be a proper drabble some time soon. My fingers are tingling to write it up ✍️ 😆 Carsick Jimin, y’all! I can’t resist!!

Well, back to it I guess.

Sickfic brain activated again.

A few nights ago, I had another sickfic related dream again. This one also involves BTS and it's really short but still I liked it a lot.

Basically they performing and Jimin started to feel nauseous mid-performance. (I have no idea what era was this but he had pink hair). I remember he went backstage out of the blue, and he was so desperate trying to find a place so he could be sick. He took off his jacket because he was feeling very uncomfortable and he still had his mic attached to him (the headset one) and he barely managed to get it away from his mouth so he could be sick. There were some people with him to help, their manager and stuff. And all of this happened because he thought it would be okay to chug a whole bottle of water right before performing.

At the end he had to leave the venue (I guess) and they gave the news to the audience, like, "Unfortunately, because of certain circumstances, Jimin will have to leave the concert" and all that.

I think that was it. I promise I'll come back with more :)
