So an interview with World Y got posted today. It was most likely filmed on Aug 3*.

During the interview, Mile referred to Apo as "Little Mermaid."

While filming KPTS ep 102, a BTS vid showed Apo asking if he's sexy, others confirming it, and Mile adding, "My Little Mermaid" with a possessive gesture.

Insanely, Mile actually saved this vid on one social media site and then uploaded it to his own account on another. Okay, my dude. That's not unhinged at all. He has also responded to more than one tweet comparing him and Apo to Ariel and Prince Eric:

That reminds me that for the Mint photoshoot posted earlier this, where Apo was immersed in a bathtub, he was asked what's his next move and he said, "Becoming little mermaid." The crew suggested Aquaman instead, and he said yes, that can work, too. Accepting their suggestion, but not letting go of the Little Mermaid.

It also reminds me that in Jul 2021, someone tweeted a pic of Apo comparing him to a Disney prince, and Mile jumped right in (despite not being tagged or anything) and replied, "Me as a beast."

Mile really sees himself and Apo as every Disney pairing and Apo goes along with it, I love it for them (and for us).

* That's my impression based on pics the cast shared on Aug 3, because the space where they were is the same where this interview was filmed. We saw them changing outfits more than once on that day, implying an interview marathon day where the clothes changing makes it look as if they filmed across many days. That said, it could have been that the space was used for more than one day of filming like this, so take the Aug 3 date with a grain of salt. Still, even if it wasn't filmed then, it was probably filmed around that time.

Saw your tags on the Amber aquaman post. What's the significance of that makeup? I haven't seen the movie

Either during the va trial or before (I can’t remember) Amber Heard claimed that a bunch of her scenes were cut from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The Director James Wan has said that he “always intended for the sequel to be about Arthur and Orm” rather than Arthur and Mera but that doesn’t explain why her scenes would be cut.

I as well as others believe she’s telling the truth mainly based off of some bts pics where she has dark veins painted around her eyes and vids of her stunt training with what is most likely supposed to be a trident (given that it’s the weapon of choice in Atlantis)

I have seen the movie and without giving away too much in case of spoilers I’ll say that there’s a black trident in the movie that’s basically cursed and possesses whoever touches it. My theory is that the original script included a scene where Mera is possessed by the black trident and Arthur and Orm are forced to fight her (as seen in the training video where Amber is facing two opponents) but this scene was cut out and replaced with Orm getting possessed and Mera running away while Arthur fought him (it was very sloppy and clearly rushed).

Keep in mind there is no scene in movie where Mera uses a trident and her main “weapon” of choice is her hydrokinesis. It would have been a great scene narratively since she would have been fighting against her husband and her ex-fiancé.

So in conclusion, unless she was just doing all this for shits and giggles, Amber was right when she said that her scenes were cut and James Wan and Jason Momoa are cowardly bitches who couldn’t stand up for their coworker during one of the worst times of her life.
