Have you ever felt a love that you couldn't quite describe, no matter how hard you try?

Meet Scarf and Muff! These two are whatever you interpret them to be.

The only things that can be considered fact are:

1. They love each other, deeply

2. They're bonded for life, through thick and thin, no matter what

3. They're around the same age, even if ageless

4. They are equals on all fronts

5. Their matching scarf and ear muffs are always the same shade of blue

You can apply whatever characteristics you like to them, they are vessels that I am sharing with the world. Their intended purpose is to show love in all its forms, and just how different our perception of it can be. They can have any names, be any species, be any gender, any orientation (whether it be romantic or otherwise), straight or queer, familial or not, any identity you can imagine can apply to them. And I mean any identity. Same goes with color scheme, their colors are whatever you imagine that they are (with the exception of Fact #5).

* Note: The only hard rules I am implementing are

1. Please don't sexualize them, not only am I a minor but that is not really what they are meant to embody.

2. I'd prefer if you didn't depict them in a violent setting, such as attacking each other or others. Just a matter of personal preference.

3. Don't depict them in immoral ways (engaging in pedophilia, noncon, incest, etc.), for what should be obvious reasons.

(Somehow if this gets popular and people do it anyway [I doubt it though] please don't use any of the BSS specific tags on this post and tag it appropriately at the VERY least, nobody really wants to see that.)

Picture Perfect

I’m back lovelies! This little piece is for the AU challenge hosted by @moxleysbaby and I’m going to have the tag list down below. If you want to be added, please drop by my inbox. Enjoy the fluffy goodness!

Today you had a very important photo shoot. It wasn’t just to help your blossoming career as a model, but to also help your long-time boyfriend with building up his portfolio. You had promised him a nice walk out on the nearby nature trail and he’d take pictures of you as you walked around and enjoyed the world around you.

“Thank you for agreeing to do this for me, babe,” Seth smiled as he got his camera set up for our impromptu shoot, “You didn’t have to do this for me, but I appreciate it all the same.”

“I’d do anything for you, Seth,” you replied as you hooked your arm with his, “You’ve helped me get my face out there and it’s only fair I do the same for you and your eye for such amazing shots.”

“I just point and shoot at what calls to me,” he replied humbly, “My pictures speak for themselves.”

You kissed his cheek lovingly before you took off ahead of him down the path. Seth had asked you to wear your black leather moto jacket, a nice light sweater, a pair of warm black leggings, and your dark brown riding boots for the shoot. You added in your favorite beanie of his and a nice scarf to complete the look. After all, it was autumn and the air had gotten chilly in Iowa in the last couple months.

“Can I just say you look great, babe,” Seth commented after he shot a couple pics of me leaning against the railing of a foot bridge, “The light coming through the trees looks heavenly on you.”

“Thanks babe,” you replied as you walked backwards along the path, your hands locked behind your back, “I can always count on you to make sure the lighting is hitting me just right.”

“You can thank the trees before me, sweetheart,” Seth smirked, “But I admire that you enjoy my work.”

“Of course I do,” you giggled a little, “That’s how we ended up getting together.”

You and Seth met way back when you were first starting to model. Seth was a photographer green behind his ears when he landed a job shooting for the job you were hired to model for. You caught his eye and he caught yours the moment you walked out onto the set of the shoot. He hit you up for coffee after the shoot was done and he had you hooked ever since.

But today was going to be extra special. Ever since you got with Seth, you knew he was the one for you. You wanted to be with him and only him for the rest of your days. You wanted to marry him, have a couple kids, and maybe a few dogs with him. You wanted the simple life with him and retire from modeling just to spend all your days with him. He was the end of the line for you. Your ride or die.

“You’re deep in thought, Seth,” you pointed out as you both had stopped by a boulder to rest for a moment.

“I was just thinking of us,” he replied, “And I have something I’ve been meaning to ask you.”

“Go ahead,” you insisted, lending him your ear.

“Marry me,” he got down on one knee and pulled out an engagement ring from his camera bag, “Make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else.”

“Yes,” you replied as happy tears brimmed in your eyes, “A thousand times yes.”

“I love you,” he scooped you up into his arms and kissed you hard. He then took the ring and slid it onto your finger, and you began to admire it lovingly.

“I love you too,” you smiled at him as you stroked his beard gently, “So I’ve been thinking about my modeling career. I’m more than willing to retire so we can have a family together. Especially now that I’m about to marry you. I don’t want another man to ever take my picture. I want your camera to be the only one to capture my likeness from now on.”

“If that’s what you want I support you 100%,” he replied, “I will never ask you to give this all up just for me. And I promise that as a loving husband I will give you the best life I can. I promise you that above all else.”

“Enough talk of our future,” you got into a nice pose to show off your new ring, “let’s enjoy our engagement and get some pictures of this beautiful ring so we can share it with our friends and families.”

“As you wish,” Seth smirked and began to snap picture after picture of you showing off your ring.

Probably the most popular of the planetary influences for the general population, Sun rules over prosperity and general protection. Choose Sun plants when you are looking for centering, doing money magic, or honoring aspects of the divine that are sun-associated. Sun plants often have sun-shaped flowers (daisies, for instance) or when ingested give a feeling of calm warmth (unlike the heating of Mars, which can lead to violent action).

Sun phases: 

Just like the moon, the sun has phases which can be used to tie in with your magical workings to add an extra boost of power.  The sun measures time, where it sits in the sky denotes what time of the day it is, and a sun dial would be quite useless without the sun to cast a shadow!  I also think that point between night and day and vice versa, that moment of hand over is quite special.

Sunrise – Basically when the sun wakes up and peers over the horizon.  This phase is all about new beginnings, changes, health, employment, renewal, resurrection and finding the right direction. It can also be very cleansing. The morning – This is when the sun is growing in strength, so it brings the magical power for growth, positive energy, resolutions, courage, harmony, happiness, strength, activity, building projects and plans, prosperity and expansion of ideas. High noon – When the sun reaches its peak in the sky at midday – work magic for health, physical energy, wisdom and knowledge. It is also a good time to pop your tools or crystals out that need charging.  (Note: some crystals can fade in strong sunlight so check first before putting them out). The afternoon – The sun is heading back down, and the energy now is good for working on business matters, communication, clarity, travel, exploring and anything professional. Sunset – As the sun takes itself off down below the horizon, work magic for removing depression, stress and confusion, letting go, releasing or finding out the truth of a situation.

Sun altar:

I always say that an altar is very personal, it has to be for you to be able to connect with the energy. You will know what needs to be put on your altar.  If you aren’t sure then start with a guide or suggestions from others (books, friends, internet etc) but keep it simple and then live with it for a bit.  You will find that you are drawn to add other items to it. My suggestions for a sun altar, you don’t have to use all or even any of these, in fact if you put everything listed on there it would be pretty crowded, sometimes less is more. Any spells you are working on can be popped on your sun altar to give them a boost of solar energy. Altar cloth; which could be a head scarf, a table cloth, napkin or bandana, it doesn’t have to be an expensive item.  I like to use yellow and orange colours. Sun symbols – well that’s a given really, you can get all sorts of items, ornaments and bric a brac in sun shapes. Flowers – fresh, dried or imitation, go for sunny yellows, oranges and reds but any bright flowers will sit nicely. Fruit – oranges and lemons look fabulous on an altar, you could even dry some slices to decorate with. Crystals – go with whatever you are drawn to but if you need some guidance there is a list of sun crystals in this book. Candles – there probably aren’t many altars that don’t have candles on!  Go with sunny or fiery colours.

Flame symbols to represent fire. Triskelion or phoenix images. Coloured ribbons. Circles and discs in yellow, brass, copper or gold colours. Equal armed crosses or the swastika. God’s eyes (see craft section on how to make one) Oak leaves and any fresh greenery. The Sun or Chariot tarot card. Antlers and horns work well to bring in the masculine energy of the sun. A wand, again for the masculine energy. Flower wreaths, I often use my flower circlets on an altar. Bees – not real ones obviously, how would you stop them from buzzing about? Honey – a little dish or pot full. If you are working with a solstice or equinox you can add in symbols and correspondences that tie in with the energy of the season.
