Mamirhodessxox Masterlist
Hi & welcome to my masterlist! This is where I put all of my hard work in here all together in an organized manner as-well as listing things &who i will take requests for! You will find many fan-fictions, head-cannons, blurbs, and Oneshots within this Masterlist and this Masterlist only! Please do not translate my work and re post it onto your blog, if i find out you do I will block you, report you & publicly announce what you did,
🎀💀🎀💀🎀💀🎀💀🎀💀🎀💀🎀💀🎀
RULES
I do not write things such as Pee Kinks, puke fetish, Underaged sex, Foot Fetishes, CNC, R*pe, Sexual assault/harassment, Abortions, Drug addictions, Alcohol addiction, Miscarriages or Incest/step-cest, Period sex (just not my thing.)
I do write things such as Pregnancy, Marriage, Divorce, conflict, Violence, Knife Play, Ice play, Witchcraft, Daddy Kink, Mommy kink, Degrading, Praising, Little space (Do not send me smut about little space or anything sexualizing little space it is a coping mechanism for others & it does not need to be sexualized, it is an age regression which is why I will not be involving sex with it.)
Please feel free to send me multiple requests or suggestions of your liking, but do not send the same exact request multiple times or message me the same exact request just because you didn’t get a response, I’m either working on it or it’s waiting to be worked on.
Do not re post my work or translate it and repost it, Reblogging is fine but do NOT use my work to gain your own following I work hard to publish my writing & the last thing I need is my work being stolen
I also do not write about people that are personally known and not even famous in whoever I’m writing for in my FFS out of respect & privacy for that person, So if you send me a request involving Cody Rhodes please do not send things that include his child, his personal family as I feel like it would be disrespectful, If you do please send something else.
Do not send me any fucking request that involves sexualizing a coping mechanism. Little space is an age regression It means that there you or someone else regresses or goes into the mindset of a different age group. This could be from the age of 2+. The relationship aspect basically means that there is a caregiver (daddy/mommy or any other nickname) and a little.
Do not send me requests for AGE PLAY. I am not going to write a fanfic smut involving a grown ass adult having sex with another grown adult but roleplaying it as they are underaged. That is disgusting and fucked up & if you ask me again I’m blocking you.
All comments are appreciated :)
I will absolutely not take requests involving Liberty out of respect for Cody & his family, if you want a request for dad Cody please come up with a different name for the child. Do not involve his personal life whatsoever ever please. This goes for Seth Rollins requests as-well.

I CAN SEE YOU
CHAPTER I: YOU BRUSH PAST ME IN THE HALLWAY
seth rollins x fem!writer+producer reader
word count: [5.3K]
warnings: no use of y/n, mild cursing, talks of anxiety, overall feel good chapter with some slight flirting.
🎧 the soundtrack
summary: Your first day on the main roster wasn't something you ever saw coming, but taking risks is the exact reason why you were there. Still, like walking on new grounds, you find yourself on edge, it a miracle that an encounter with a certain someone leaves you feeling a little at ease with the new beginnings ahead.
The pep in your step felt a little different, and so did the air that belonged to a city you’ve never stepped foot in before—but all of that culminated into nothing when you were thrown in with the sharks not knowing what exactly you were getting yourself into.
The corridors were far more confined than you remembered them being when you were a little kid, and the stares you got were almost gawking. So much different from the admiration that used to fill their orbs when you were a little girl running up and down similar hallways in a different state, different city, different night.
But it’s because you knew they didn’t look at you like that little girl anymore. Nowadays, your entire being was shaped by who your mother and father were, plus the prestigious family name you possessed and the legacy you were expected to carry on.
All of it is foreign, like figuring out how to walk again and this time it’s in a world full of larger-than-life characters that even you cannot seem to fathom quite yet. You grew up around all of it, but you never imagined walking in the shoes of those before you and paving your own way.
A way towards what could be the downfall of your family name or the rise of a new era that started with you.
“The evolution of this company lies within the palm of my hand and—shoot!”
Your footsteps came to an abrupt halt, your body meeting a stiff chest that nearly knocked you to your feet if it weren’t for the quick hands keeping you up by the waistline.
The loose paper scripts fell from your hands, cascading across the concrete floors, losing their orderly place from where you were practicing for what felt like the millionth time.
“Shit! Let me help you, I’m sorry.” A deep voice spoke apologetically, making sure you were standing upright before letting up on his grasp.
The man immediately beat you to it, bending down to gather all the papers, trying his best not to mix them up even more than he already did. Tapping them against the ground to get them in a crisp stack, he rose up and met your eyes.
“Thanks…sorry, it was my fault. I wasn’t paying attention.” You apologized, taking the stack of papers he handed to you.
He shook his head smiling assuringly, “I should’ve been more careful,” he paused for a brief moment, tilting his head at you as if he was trying to place you in his memory.
“Are you new here? I haven’t seen you around before.”
You nodded, smiling widely, trying your best to wash away the first day jitters, “Today’s my first day, actually.”
His lips parted in silent surprise before speaking once more.
“Welcome to the team, my names Seth by the way.” He held out his hand, offering it to you politely.
“Nice to meet you, Seth.” You shook his with a grin on your face.
All of him suddenly hitting you like a ton of bricks, realizing that you should’ve known him the second you two caught eyes.
You had been studying the program closely as a part of your preparation for the venture. Your father making sure you knew every face and every name, not just out of respect but to understand the importance of storytelling—something you were about to be a part of in mere hours as the clocked ticked on.
So you were familiar with Seth Rollins. The mastermind behind the toughest faction of all time, the architect behind his success, the very person who was able to redesign, rebuild, and reclaim it, and most recently the Monday Night Rollins that was taking the world by storm.
You introduced yourself to him, leaving out a very crucial part before you felt your phone buzzing in your back pocket. Quickly you released his hand, apologizing under your breath, pulling it out—the screen flashing with messages from your father wondering where you were.
You looked up at him, tucking your phone away.
“I gotta run. Hope to catch you around, Rollins!” You called out, passing him a simple wave before heading off to where you needed to be.
Seth shrugged, continuing on his way to catering not thinking anything much of the encounter. He was versed around the crew. Camera men, mic operators, stage hands, creative personnel, security—the list went on.
After years of being on the road with the same company, he was acquainted with almost everyone. Granted, he got some names confused here and there, but for the most part he knew the faces that were always around.
You happened to be one of the new ones—a pretty one at that. It wasn’t every day that the company expanded their crew, too accustomed to the people who were well seasoned with the type of show they were producing and the talent they needed to get it out to the fans. But he knew if you were here, then you surely knew what you were doing.
“There you are Mr. Monday Night,” Kofi whistled with a smirk, catching the sight of Seth walking through catering wearing a big ‘ole smile.
“Yeah, yeah,” he waved off, going to make himself a plate of food to get himself energized before the show, “You gonna call me that every time I enter the room?” He barked playfully, tossing a little bit of everything on his plate.
Kofi hummed, pulling out a chair for his friend to sit, “What’s the sense of you naming yourself Monday Night Rollins if I don’t seize the opportunity for a nickname?”
“We could always call you Triple R? Redesign, Rebuild, Reclaim?” Charlotte quipped and everyone shook their heads.
“Paul would have a field day with that one,” Dean snorted with a grunt.
Catering was one of the many communal spaces in every arena. Superstars mingling with others before and in between matches, and a lot of them traveling with others to make work feel more like play outside the ring. While the routine may seemed hectic for some, for people like Seth who had been doing it long before WWE, it was second nature, only this time nicer rental cars and occasional business class flights made it less stressful.
The catering door swung open, a stagehand who looked rather frantic eyed the room.
“Have any of you seen Ms. Levesque?”
Seth furrowed his brows, confused as he and the rest of the room answered ‘no’ while the stagehand sighed, communicating into their earpiece and then disappearing.
Stephanie had stepped down from her co-CEO position months ago after her husband Paul took over and while it wasn’t odd for her to pop in every once in a while, it was even odder that a stagehand of all people was out looking for her.
“Since when did Steph drop the Mrs?” He wondered, looking around at his friends who shrugged carelessly, not paying it any mind.
You raced through the hallways, reading aloud every plaque that hung from the doors until you finally came across the one you had been searching for amidst all the twists and turns of the arena. You turned the knob, pushing your way inside to be greeted with your dad looking up from his laptop and rising from his desk with a smile on his face.
“There you are,” He greeted, walking around to greet you with a hug.
“Hey,” You closed your eyes peacefully, holding him tightly before releasing, “Sorry I got caught up with TJ and Dave.”
You waved the still jumbled scripts in your hand, and he chuckled, nodding his head knowing that’s exactly where you should’ve been after he sent some stage hands to search for you. He could feel your anxiety and he could certainly read it in your face—no matter how much he tried to prepare you and let you process it on your own, he knew it was the normal nerves coming out to play.
“Relax kid, don’t get too in your head over this,” He encouraged you, gently nudging your side with his elbow. “The moment you get out there it’s going to come like second nature.”
You rolled your eyes, pinching the bridge of your nose. “Are you really trying to work in a Ric Flair reference right now?”
He laughed out loud, ruffling the top of your head with a grunt.
“You’re lucky you're my daughter you know that?”
“Oh trust me, I’m aware.”
You hung out in his office, getting the scripts placed back into the correct order, reading it over while your dad typed away responding to important emails he didn’t want to bore you with. It was his duty as a father to not stress you with unnecessary business on your very first day, but sooner than later he’d show you the ropes on what he knew you’d take on flawlessly.
After some time passed, a knock was heard on the door. You and your dad looking up in the direction and he called out a reply summoning them in.
It was Samantha, one of the few people you had met prior to your first day. She was the head of social media, running almost every WWE outlet on the internet. She gladly welcomed you, expressing her excitement for the day she got to make a post about you officially joining the company.
“Hey you, it’s your big day!” She congratulated with an embrace that you were incredibly grateful for.
“I’m so nervous. Promise me you won’t post my promo if I botch it?” You said half jokingly, but the fear was still obvious behind your eyes.
“You’re not going to botch it, trust me. Your dad told me you’ve been rehearsing it like every day.” She insisted, waving off your self doubts.
Paul rose his hands in defense, catching your half hearted glare you shot him.
“You know it by heart, but you also know how to make it feel natural and real, which is the most important part.”
Sam nodded her head in agreement, rubbing your arm up and down encouragingly before you plopped back down on the couch. She made her way towards your dad, holding out the reserved social media phone, linked to all of Triple H’s platforms, and displayed the post for one of their social media uploads.
“Speaking of important, I’m going to send out the tweet about the special announcement from your twitter account then I’ll retweet and quote from the company’s main account,” She explained, watching Paul scan through the text before giving an approving nod.
“Send it out.” He gave his approval and Sam promptly hit post, checking out the numbers already begin to fly through the notification tab just a few seconds later.
She looked over at you, shooting you a thumbs up, “You’re going to break the internet tonight, for all good reasons.”
You said your goodbyes to her, checking the time on your phone realizing that doors would open any minute now and time would surely pass faster than you’d like before it was showtime. Your hair and makeup was already done, needing just a little more of hairspray and a reapplication of lip-gloss.
“I should probably get changed, right?” You looked up at your dad who nodded and did some typing on his phone before standing up and strolling over to where you tried to relax your nerves.
“Go get changed and shake out your bones. I’ll meet you out in the ring, okay?” He spoke gingerly, slinging his arm across your shoulders, giving you a loving shake—the same one he always gave you when you needed the push.
“You sure you don’t want to go over it again?” You stared up at him, eyes wide with fret.
He shook his head, pressing a kiss to the side of your head.
“I don’t want you to psych yourself out. You know it well and how to make it yours…that’s more than enough.”
He sent you on your way, but of course not without a request for your ‘personal assistant’ to follow you along. In actuality, it was his personal assistant, a sweet guy named Eddie who you had met times before—sometimes even the one picking up your phone calls to your dad when he was busy in meetings and talent relation.
“Ms. Levesque, your dress has been pressed and ironed. Would you like to change into it now?”
Eddie spoke with an exaggerated English accent, making you crack a laugh, shaking your head and taking the garment from where he held it out to you.
“The English would throw scones at you, you know?” You looked over at him, unzipping the plastic covering to inspect the dress you had picked out for the occasion.
You went simple, but something that still felt like you. A black sleeveless mock neck fitted dress that fell mid-thigh which you were going to pair with a red heels to signify your debut on Raw. Your mother had helped you pick it out a few weeks back and even left a special note strung around the hanger reading:
“Good luck on your first day, sweetie! Kill it and make her-story! - With love, mom”
Eddie snickered, easing up in your presence thankful that you weren’t so intimidating like your father. But Paul wasn’t all that bad. If anything he was the most decent employer he’d ever had, there just were a lot of expectations when it came to making sure the guy wasn’t under too much stress after his heart surgery.
“The dress totally breaks dress code, by the way. If this were any other company, you’d get a warning for indecency.” Eddie shook his head with a faux unimpressed frown on his face.
“Well by all means, let the slut shaming begin.” You giggled, wiggling your shoulders with a shimmy.
He scoffed begrudgingly, opening the bathroom door for you to head inside while he waited outside the door watching for any onlookers.
Fans had already begun finding their way to their seats while the crew finished setting up all the hard cameras and getting the visual prepped for the new graphics that would be displayed when your theme song hit.
Not only were the fans curious of Triple H’s special announcement, but so were the superstars who were caught off guard when producers went around letting everyone know that they would be up on stage for the broadcast.
Seth finished up in catering, making his way towards the nearest bathroom in order to douse his hair with some water prior to changing into his gear for the night. To his surprise, Triple H’s personal assistant Eddie was standing watch outside the door, prompting him to stop just a few feet away.
“Occupado?” Seth sought, to which Eddie nodded with a tight smile. “A quick outfit change,” He informed the superstar.
Seth assumed it was Paul, getting ready ahead of the big announcement. Lately the company had been on fire with him now in charge, giving all the superstars the work environment and creative freedom that they had been dying for. If it was something as big as a surprise that left talent in the dark, then it must have been legit.
The door pulled open from the inside and you fluffed your hair, striking a silly pose as you leaned against the doorframe. The two men turned their attention to you—Eddie bursting out into laughter, while Seth attempted to stifle his own.
“How do I look—oh! sorry, were you waiting long?” You immediately moved out of the way, an embarrassed red flush coming over your cheeks.
Seth shook his head and smiled, looking you up and down, “Nah, you’re fine. You look good by the way.”
“Thanks,” you smiled shyly, glancing over at Eddie who rose his brow at you, holding his arms out to take your folded clothing you once wore.
“Ready to go?” He asked, and you nodded, smoothing out your dress.
“Ready as ever.” You took a deep breath.
You timidly waved bye to Seth, keeping close to Eddie’s side trying to stay out of everyone’s way who were rushing through the halls trying to get ready for the show. Seth chuckled to himself, still wondering what your role was—editor? personal assistant? Surely, he’d find out soon enough.
“You’re going to do great, sucker-punch,” The country twang belonged to none other than Shawn Michaels who reassured you through the loud crowd roaring past the concrete walls.
He was your godfather and one of your dad’s bestest friends in the entire world who had come all the way to watch your big debut. He had been a constant in your life since you were a baby, and it was nice to have another father figure you could look up to, let alone work with down at NXT before your dad thought you were finally ready for the big leagues.
“I just wanna go over it again,” you took a deep breath rubbing your hands together nervously, and he nodded letting you go through the motions with him, “When I step out I pause for a few seconds then the cameras will follow behind me until I get through gorilla position?”
“Exactly that. The hard camera down the ramp will catch the first sight of you. Pause on your mark for a few seconds and when it feels right meet your dad in the ring.”
It was about the hundredth time you asked someone for clarification on the simple segment, but in your defense you were new to all of this and no matter how much confidence you had, you surely didn’t want to screw it up.
“We’re live in a minute and thirty.” The crew called out, making their final adjustments to their equipment.
Shawn gave you a pat on the knee.
“Trust yourself, you got this.”
You flashed him a nervous smile, nodding your head before he shut the limousine door shut, walking out of camera frame to watch from the sidelines.
“Places people!” You heard the crew shout, a stagehand counting down as the limo slowly began to drive forward just in time.
The superstars were lined up on stage, a mixture of Raw and SmackDown superstars in attendance for the special program. Triple H had kicked off the show, making his entrance through the sea of talent before getting into the ring mic in hand.
“I know all of you are wondering what my special announcement is…” He began, and the fans cheered loudly, chanting “yes!”
Paul nodded his head, pacing around the ring coolly, “WWE has entered a new era. And I am flattered to say that all of you have coined it the Paul Levesque Era, though I find it to be a little unoriginal I might say.” He joked lightly, giving the fans and talent a light-hearted laugh.
“But in all seriousness, my era had begun long ago when I forged NXT and cradled it like a baby until it learned how to walk on its own and give all of you some of the most talented and athletic superstars, some of which are standing on that very stage because of their own destiny to be here.”
He slung his arms over the ropes, jutting his chin out in respect to many of the talent whom he had the honor of working with since the beginning of their careers back in NXT, when no one realized what a monumental period it would be for them.
“Which brings me to my very special announcement. You see, I didn’t get here by not taking risks, by playing it safe and going for the sure plan. No, I got here because I see potential, and I am willing to put my money and reputation on the line to carry out the potential I see and make them stars.”
His words were partly a shoot, all the talent and fans aware of the heat that he had faced in the past from wrestling outlets who scrutinized his choices for prioritizing NXT instead of the main roster at the time.
“But I’ve always seen potential when it comes to one particular person. Someone who I think is not just riskier than me, but always takes the long shot, not for praise or notoriety, but because they know in their heart and soul that they can, and when they do, they will succeed.”
“It’s the kind of trait that is rare. One that few possess in this lifetime, which is why it is imperative to me that this individual gets a shot to show it to you themselves…” He gestured up to the titantron where a camera scurried behind a stretch limousine.
You sat back against the leather, doing your best to keep down the nerves as they rolled the live cameras. The driver came to a smooth stop, placing the vehicle in park before making their way out to open your door, allowing you enough space to stick your foot out first.
There was no turning back now. Everything that you had rehearsed and played over and over again in your head was being worked out on live television for all the fans sitting in attendance to see and more startling, the million watching at home to view.
You breathed in the foreign city air, taking it all in before your heels clicked against the concrete, the feeling of the crew trailing behind your every move. The voice in your head reminded you to keep up with the strides—everything from the talk and the walk, made your character and even now when the fans didn’t know your name or face, they could still understand you meant business just by the way you portrayed yourself.
The closer you got to gorilla, the louder the fans got and the realer it all felt. There was little time for you to acknowledge the crew of producers in gorilla, too busy keeping yourself together as your fingertips swept the curtains to the side and before you know it, your music blasted through the building.
Without needing to be told, the superstars split into halves once more, making way for the mystery woman to hit center mark and there the fans finally got to see who it was. Your name lit up on the big screen — the last name alone evoking ovations that were louder than you imagined you’d ever get.
You smirked, holding back on letting the happiness seep completely through. Making your way towards the ring after pausing for the hard camera, your father walked out towards the apron, holding on a hand for you to take before opening the ropes for you to step through.
He handed you a mic, your music slowly dying giving the fans a chance to settle their cheers so you could speak.
“My, my, my, you sure do know how to make a girl feel extra special on her Raw debut,” You charmed the crowd, looking around the stadium full of fans who were on their feet.
“My father Triple H told me that you all are some of the most electrifying fans in the entire world and I can confidently say that he wasn’t kidding.” You looked over towards your dad, who grinned and clapped for you.
“Now I know my presence may come as a surprise, but I can assure you all that I do not mean to do any harm. In fact, my dad is still the big boss around here, but he did mention needing a little bit of help running the place, and I figured with my history and family name I might as well take a shot and give it a go?”
Again the crowd erupted in cheers, happy to see the legends lineage continuing with a new generation that would surely take after her father’s creative outlook.
“You see, I’ve watched this company thrive and flourish into a league of its own. But I’ve also watched it slip through the cracks and make mistakes that would have never happened under my watch. The evolution of this company lies within the palm of my hands and I will not let the slip-ups of the past come in the way of me fulfilling the prophecy of taking this company to new heights.”
You pointed to the stage, where the superstars looked rather impressed by your words.
“So please join me in ushering in the Levesque Era.” You stared into the hard camera with a broad smile, dropping the mic as your music hit once more.
Your father lifted your arm up, circling around every side of the ring, pointing at you proudly, cherishing the moment. He helped you out of the ring, hooking your arm through his as you two walked up the ramp. A few talents exchanging gracious smiles with you as you brushed past them and headed towards the back.
“Holy shit!” You screeched, finally breaking character and covering your face in elation.
Your dad immediately pulled you into a hug, giving you your first pat on your back with the company. It was safe to say he was way more emotional than you, happiness seeping out in tears of joy, while you still struggled to fathom the paradigm shift of your career.
“Now that’s how you deliver your first promo, sucker-punch.” Shawn snuck up from behind you, pulling you into a proud hug making you laugh.
Gorilla quickly began filling with the superstars, heading backstage before the first match started. A bunch of them stuck around to get a turn to meet you, or as they nicknamed you, the ‘heiress’ which you found comical.
You stuck around for a good chunk of the show, keeping your dad company where he sat at the monitors, now and then turning to you as he showed you a few of the different aspects that he handled on live shows. Surely you would eventually get a thorough rundown of future tasks, but your dad wanted you to focus on being a part of the creative team and main roster.
Towards the ending of the show, you parted ways with your dad saying goodbye to him as he would be staying a few hours after holding some meetings with the crew while you got to get some much needed rest at the hotel.
Strolling down to your office, you were stopped by a blonde woman excited to meet you. You had recognized her immediately—Renee Young who was a backstage interviewer.
“Oh, it’s so nice to meet you!” You bubbled, sticking your hand out to introduce yourself.
She beamed, shaking her head at you with astonishment, “The second you came out, I knew immediately, like, ‘this has to me Paul’s daughter’ and then when you started speaking…” she paused, eyes widening as you giggled, “I was like ‘yeah, this is Paul and Steph’s daughter!’ it comes to you so naturally!”
“Thank you so much, you have no idea what that means to me,” You said thankfully opening your arms and pulling her into a small but mighty hug, “I was honestly so nervous, I’m surprised I didn’t croak out there.”
Renee shook her head, resting a warm hand on your shoulder. “You did amazing, and you’re only going to get better the more you do it.”
You and her chit-chatted for a couple of minutes before a male figure strolled up to her side, slinging his arm around her tenderly. She looked up at him, patting his chest and pointing to you.
“Nice first impression you’re sending to our future boss,” she joked, making you giggle.
He looked at you, realization crossing over his face and he swiftly stuck out a hand towards you.
“Shit, I’m Dean. Sorry m’all sweaty. Just finished a match and all.”
You shook your head, reassuring him as you shook his hand.
“Don’t worry about throwing me off. I personally think the whole wrestler's dress code thing is dumb. I’ve seen your stuff on TV a bunch before…great match by the way.”
“Oh thanks,” He nodded with a grin, happy that you weren’t on the uptight side of the company.
You learned that Dean and Renee had been together for years, tying the knot in secrecy a few years ago at their home in Nevada. Your father had worked closely with them before their debut on the main roster—Dean working in FCW before it became NXT, and Renee starting backstage at developmental before your dad requested to have her brought up to be an addition to the crew.
“Mr. Monday Night!” Renee hollered, looking past you towards the figure who was strolling down the hallway.
You turned your head over your shoulder, smiling at the man who came closer immediately taking notice of you. This time around he was dressed in gear, his match for the night already wrapped, and he was heading to the locker rooms to get changed.
“Hey you,” you grinned, sharing a knowing, playful look with Seth that Renee and Dean couldn’t decipher.
Your eyes twinkled with amusement and his face held a mischievous smile that tugged at the corners of his lips.
“Have I seen you around before?” Seth joked, raising a brow at you suspiciously.
Your shoulders rose with a casual shrug, your hands plopping into your lap as you both burst into laugher, echoing in the halls. There was an ease to you both, the kind that made you forget all about the nervousness that you felt at the beginning of the night when scripts scattered across the same ground you both stood on.
“How was my first day?” You proposed, anticipating what he had to say.
“I’m still recovering after butchering my first encounter with the leading lady herself…” Seth admitted, rubbing at his chest sheepishly, sucking in a sharp breath, “but you killed it…you are a complete natural, Ms. Levesque.” He emphasized your last name with a playful smirk.
You nodded thankfully, before waving your hands in the air a kind of tender scolding at the formalness.
“Please, the only people who call me that are people who are afraid of my dad.”
“Ms. Levesque…”
You turned your head toward the familiar voice. Eddie who stood off to the side with your bags and luggage in hand. The three broke into laughter at his formal address towards you, aware that it was merely out of respect, but perhaps also a touch of intimidation by your father.
“We have a car out back ready to take you back to the hotel. All your belongings are here.” Eddie informed you.
You nodded, smiling gratefully at him for going out of his way to carry out a kind gesture like that. Sure, it was probably at your father’s request, but Eddie knowing you for as long as he did, knew you would refuse any kind of help if he didn’t do it himself.
“It was nice meeting you guys…and you again, Mr. Monday Night.” You twiddled your fingers in a playful wave.
“See you around soon,” Seth chuckled, giving you a warm smile that lingered as you walked away.
You took hold of your bags, Eddie rolling your luggage behind him as he lead you to the parking garage where the driver was waiting.
“You two know each other?” Dean rose his brows, looking closely at his friend.
“Barely. I just ran into her before the show and thought she was on the crew.” Seth explained, his eyes still following you as you walked further down the hall.
“She didn’t introduce herself?” Dean pressed, curiosity evident in his voice.
“She did,” Seth looked over back at the pair, “She just left out her last name.”
“Probably didn’t want to be the center of attention.” Renee suspected with a shrug, turning her attention back to Dean and their plans for the rest of the night.
Seth watched you stop a few feet down the hall to shake hands with a few of the crew and members of creative. Your smile was warm and genuine as you quickly said your thank you’s for their kind words and wished them a goodnight. Finally, you were ushered down another turn, disappearing from his view.
He could get used to having you around. He just wondered if you would get used to being the shiny new star in their world.

Brollins x daughter reader? The stoey could be whatever you want it to be
Light || Seth Rollins x Daughter!Reader x Becky Lynch
Summary: Everything changed when you came into their lives.
From the moment you entered their lives, everything changed for Seth and Becky. The wrestling industry, with its chaotic schedule and constant demands, suddenly took a backseat to the love and joy you brought into their world. They've never experienced a love as profound and pure as the love they feel for you.
Being WWE superstars means living life in the fast lane, constantly on the move from one city to the next, one match to another. But despite the hectic schedule and the challenges of balancing parenthood with their careers, Seth and Becky wouldn't have it any other way.
Sure, there are moments of exhaustion and frustration, nights spent on the road when they long to tuck you into bed and read you a bedtime story. But the joy of seeing your smiling face in gorilla after a gruelling match makes every sacrifice worth it.
They've learned to make the most of the precious time they have together as a family, cherishing each moment spent at home between gruelling tours. From lazy Tuesday afternoons cuddled up on the couch, recovering from last night's RAW, to impromptu dance parties in the living room, they savour every second spent with you.
And when they're on the road, they make sure to try to keep everything as normal as possible. Bedtime routines, while spent in hotels, stay the same. A bath, a book, then off to sleep. It's a strange kind of comfort that you always sleep in their bed when on the road.
As you grow older, you become their biggest source of inspiration and motivation. They want to be the best versions of themselves, not just for themselves, but for you. They work harder, push themselves further, all with the hope of creating a better world for you to grow up in.
Sure, there are moments of doubt and uncertainty, times when they wonder if they're doing enough for you, if they're giving you the childhood you deserve. But then they see the love and happiness shining in your eyes, and they know that they're doing something right.
Because at the end of the day, family is what matters most. And as long as they have each other and you, they know that they can conquer anything that life throws their way.

"We just want to show you how much we appreciate you," Becky cooed softly. Her fingers ran through Y/N's hair. The three adults sat at the edge of the bed. Their proposition still hung it the air.
"And you both will be slow, right? I've never been with a woman before," she admitted with a blush. Sure, she has kissed a girl or two but never went all the way.
"Of course, baby. We will have a safety word and come up with other gestures when that mouth of yours is full," Seth assured her. He ran his thumb over her bottom lip.
The couple looked at each other and smiled.
Y/N found herself between Seth's legs. Her head bobbed up and down on his dick. A string of curses and compliments left his lips. "She is perfect, babe, fuck. Next time you get to try her out,"
Becky smiled behind Y/N. She admired her handy work. Her head buried in her husband's lap. The former wrestler admired the way Seth's dick disappeared in her mouth. Their special girl laid on her upper half on the bed. Her lower half was propped up by pillows. Legs spread lewdly in front of Becky.
"Wait until she feels this," Becky teased. Her index finger played with Y/N's clit. She moaned against Seth.
"You liked that, didn't you?" He teased.
"She is going to like this more," Becky chuckled. The finger vibrator turned on. Y/N moaned loudly and bucked her hips against the pillow. The red head gripped Y/N's hips to steady her.
"Jesus, Y/N," Seth moaned. He gripped the back of her head.
"Did you like that, little one?" Becky asked in a condescending tone.
Y/N hadn't stopped moaning against Seth. Tears pricked the corner of her eyes. Becky rubbed her fingertip around Y/N's clit. To their subject's surprise, she slid a finger inside of her.
They kept the torture on her. Seth fucked her mouth while Becky teased her clit. Becky added another finger and started to make a scissor motion. The way Y/N squirmed on the bed, they knew they needed to tie her up next time.
"I don't think she is going to make it to the grand finale, babe," Seth pointed out.
Becky pulled away from Y/N. She admired the wetness on her inner thighs. Despite the poor girl's many orgasms, Becky hadn't relented.
Y/N heard a wet sound behind her. It sounded like something was getting slathered behind her. When she turned her head, Seth kept her still. He paused momentarily as he watched his wife.
Y/N felt the tip of something press at her entrance. The head of Becky's strap on thrusted inside of her.
"Relax, baby, you want us to appreciate you fully, right?" Becky asked. Her hands rubbed her bottom slowly. Her fingers kneaded the flesh. Y/N relaxed at the comforting touch.
Becky slowly pushed the strap inside. Y/N could feel her walls stretch to accommodate her. Seth remained still to give Y/N time to adjust. When Becky set up a pace, Seth matched her.
Seth watched as Y/N was spit roasted between the married couple. Their moans sounded through the room. His thrusts picked up as he watched the two women. Y/N started to push back against his wife. The pillows below her, allowing Becky to go deeper than she ever felt before.
"You are so close, aren't you, little one?" Becky asked. She turned the finger vibrator on once more. Her finger found its way between her legs. Y/N's eyes rolled to the back of her head.
"God, Becks, I'm so close," Seth moaned.
"Me too. I know she is," Becky spoke.
The thrusts started to get more ragged. Becky stilled inside of Y/N. Both women reached the peak of their orgasm. Seth was last to finish. He finished inside of her mouth.
Seth was the first to recover. He took care of Becky and Y/N. The two women cuddled in the bed. Becky held onto Y/N.
"Poor girl is already falling asleep on me," Becky laughed to Seth.
Y/N hummed softly. Her eyes closed. She felt the bed dip behind her. Seth had just crawled into bed.
"I think she knows how much we appreciate her now,"

HIS GIRL - Roman Reigns
JUST SOMETHING I HAD SITTING IN MY DRAFTS SINCE LAST YEAR ✍😅 MY FRIEND WHO'S NOT ON HERE AND DOESN'T WRITE HELPED WITH THE SEMI SPICY PART LOL 🤣
•
REAL NAMES WILL BE USED JUST CAUSE
•
Y|N AND JOE HAVE BEEN BEST FRIENDS SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HAVE EVEN FOOLED AROUND OCCASIONALLY BUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP SOON CHANGES WHEN NEW BOY COLBY LOPEZ ARRIVES
•
"I should get going, Joe." Y|N giggled, trying to wiggle out of his grip causing the guy next to her to tighten his grip. "Joseph, let go."
"I don't want you to go."
And I don't want to leave.
Y|N sighed.
Her lips slowly turning upwards into a smile as she unknowingly sunk deeper into his muscular arms.
Just hearing Joe say he didn't want her to leave made her stomach do backflips.
But she knew she had to stop herself before she got too deep in her feelings.
Like who was she kidding?
Joseph's her bestfriend.
Has been her best friend since the day they met when she was the new girl in school.
The first day of seventh grade, to be exact.
It was only recently that they had decided to give in to the temptation that had began lingering over them since their junior year of high school, and had, had sex.
It was Y|N's first time.
Not so much Joe's.
Of course, the man's like every girl's fantasy at school.
But that's beside the point.
Y|N had swore up and down that night she had allowed Joe to take her virginity that she could handle her emotions, and not be one of those clingy girls that all of a sudden wanted more than no strings attached.
Those girls that would ultimately find themselves wanting a relationship.
Wanting said bestfriend to be theirs and only theirs.
When deep down she had quickly became that girl.
All because she wanted her bestfriend to make her feel the way he had made those other girls feel.
It just so happen, Y|N was good at hiding how she felt.
But then there would be times like now, when Joe would say things like 'I don't want you to go.'
Something so simple that would only make Y|N long for something more, even more.
Get yourself together, before you ruin everything.
With another sigh, Y|N began wiggling again. "It's the night before the first day of senior year, Joe. I have to go home and get some sleep."
"Sleep here." Joe quickly replied, with a chuckle as he leaned over to nip at the skin on my neck, almost immediately causing me to close my eyes, and bit down on my lips. "Please."
Y|N shook her head, trying to fight off the urge to moan, as Joe's hand began to slide further and further down her body. "I have no clothes." She quickly blurted out, trying to think of any excuse to be let go.
"Wear something of mines." Joe countered with a smirk as his hand stopped. "You love stealing my stuff all the other times."
"My dads will be pissed." Y|N gasped out, feeling Joe's finger come in contact with her folds. "I'm not about to show up on the first day of my senior year dressed like you. And I know if I stay I won't be getting much sleep."
"Are you serious?" Joe questioned, looking over at Y|N in disbelief. "You really want to go? Right now?" His grip now loosened from around Y|N waist.
No!
"Well..." Y|N stuttered out, rolling over so that she could face Joe. "Maybe I can be a little late. But we have to be quick."
"No promises." She heard her bestfriend say, smirking, as he gripped Y|N's face, pulling her in for a kiss.
This boy will be the death of me.
•
"Looks like you and Joe had a good time." Trinity said, nudging Y|N with her elbow as she, Y|N and their other friend Liv walked down the hall at the end of school.
"Is it really noticeable..?" Y|N blushed, already knowing her friend was referring to the hickey Joe had marked her with last night when they were going for round two. "I was up at six this morning covering this thing up."
Thank goodness the other three are in a place they won't see, Y|N thought, giggling to herself.
Liv shrugged, playfully rolling her eyes at her friend. "Well, it looks like you need a touch up."
"I'll put more on in the ca-"
Before Y|N could finish what she was saying, a male voice was heard calling out to her.
"Who's he?" Liv was the first to ask, as the three girls turned their attention to the unrecognizable boy calling out to Y|N.
"Oh..." Y|N spoke with a smile. "The new guy, Colby. He just moved to Florida from Iowa."
Trinity laughed, eyeing her friend. "And how do you know all of this?" She asked, taking note of the instantaneous smile that formed on Y|N's face.
"He's in my first and second period."
And before either one of her friends could think of anything else to say or question her about, Y|N had walked off heading over to Colby.
•
"Is that Y|N?" Joe heard his cousin Jonathan ask as him and Jon's younger twin brother Joshua turned a corner in school, heading for the double doors to leave out the school building.
Joe stopped in his tracks, looking in the direction that his younger cousin was looking.
Seeing none other than Y|N.
And some guy he didn't know.
"Who's that guy she's talking to?"
"Oh, that's the new guy, Cory." Jon answered.
"It's Colby." Josh spoke up, correcting his brother. "He's the new kid from Iowa. He's in first period with me and Y|N."
Joe nodded, his eyes locked on his bestfriend as she was deep in conversation with Colby.
Even when Joe tried to tear his eyes away, he couldn't.
And for some reason, the longer he watched the more his blood began to boil.
Wait, why was his blood boiling?
Y|N's talked to guys other than him and his cousins before.
Hell she's even dated guys before.
She's even been out a few times with guys since they began fooling around.
And Joe's never had a problem before.
But then again, he's never had to watch Y|N talk to a guy other than him, his family and a few mutual guy friends.
People that went to school here knew Y|N was Joe's.
And because of that she was off limits.
So, he most definitely didn't want to start having to watch some clueless ass new guy step on his territory.
Now that he's got a good thing going on with her.
As if someone was controlling him, Joe had quickly made his way over to where Y|N stood, laughing with the new guy, Colby.
"Hey, beautiful." He greeted Y|N, leaning down giving Y|N a sloppy kiss, shoving his tongue into her mouth.
That's my girl, Joe thought smirking into the kiss as Y|N almost immediately kissed back.
•
Okay.
What.
The.
Fuck?
Y|N slowly pulled away from the kiss, her hand on Joe's chest as she pushed him back.
Where did that come from?
She could feel heat rising to her face as she stood there for a second or two trying to catch her breath after Joe's spontaneous tongue filled kiss.
And 'hey beautiful?'
When did Joe start addressing her as beautiful?
Don't get it wrong, Joe has always been the main guy to call her beautiful or make her feel beautiful but that was maybe when Y|N was showing off a new outfit or you know, when they're having sex or whatever.
But addressing by saying beautiful?
That's new.
She wasn't even sure if he's ever even addressed her as babe, or even baby before.
So why now?
Y|N looked up at Joe for the first time since he came over to her and stuck his tongue down her throat seeing a new emotion that she's never seen before.
Jealousy.
Joseph was jealous over something I was doing?
Could he be feeling the things I've been feeling for him lately, for me?
"I'm sorry about that, Colby." Y|N said embarrassingly as she tried to focus her attention on her new friend, while also taking notice of how close Joe was pulling her in to him. "This is Joe."
"Colby." The guy she's only met this morning during class said a smile on his face as he stretched out a balled up fist to Joe seemingly to give him a fist bump.
Joe nodded, ignoring Colby's gesture. "I heard Y|N." He mumbled turning to Y|N dropping his arm from around Y|N's waist. "I'm ready to go."
Y|N nodded taking note of his tone.
It wasn't something she liked considering it didn't seem like the Joseph she'd known since she was twelve.
But at the same time he was her ride home and because of her being unable to say no to a second round with Joe last night, she was on the verge of being grounded by her dads after coming home half an hour after her curfew.
"I'll see you tomorrow." She said to Colby, before turning and walking off with Joe.
•
Joe walked to his car, an slightly angry Y|N leading the way as she stomped ahead, her arms crossed over her chest.
This is gonna be a long ride.
Seeing Y|N had reached his car before him, Joe used his key fob to unlock the car giving her access.
About a minute later, Joe had finally gotten settled in the car and had thrown his backpack in the backseat next to Y|N's.
"What the hell was that?" He heard Y|N ask, her head snapping in his direction as he put his key in the ignition, starting his car engine. "And don't ask what like you don't know I'm talking about you shoving your damn tongue down my throat."
"I thought you loved my tongue." Joe fake gasped, pretending to be hurt bu Y|N insinuating she didn't enjoy their kiss.
Y|N blushed, rolling her eyes. "I do love your tongue Joe." She replied. "But that's not what I mean."
"Then I'm confused."
"You've never done something like that at school, Joe. That's what I'm trying to say." Y|N tried explaining, hoping Joe was catching on to what she was saying or trying to say.
"I've never had to." Joe replied, glancing over at his bestfriend. "I've never felt like someone was threatening me."
Y|N scoffed. "How was Colby threatening you? All he was doing was talking to me."
"I don't know." Joe mumbled. "It's just everybody at school knows you're mine but here comes some new kid and he's basically flirting with you." He added. "I just wanted him to know you're my girl."
"Really?"
"Really, Y|N." Joe quickly answered, unaware of the way Y|N thought he meant when he said she was his girl.
Joe did mean it when he said Y|N was his girl.
He won't even deny that he's got actual romantic feelings for her to anyone, other than Y|N herself.
But he didn't mean it as he plan to stop seeing his other flings.
After all him and Y|N had an understanding.
And him getting jealous didn't mean much right?
As long as Y|N kept her romances out of his sight and she stayed away from that new kid, this thing between him and his bestfriend was good.
•
Y|N smiled, while also side eying her bestfriend.
She wasn't stupid.
Which was why she knew Joe hadn't meant that she was his in a way she'd hoped he'd meant.
But that was fine.
Cause atleast now Y|N knew Joe had enough feelings for her that he would get jealous over her simply talking to a guy.
After all he wouldn't have gotten jealous over someone he just saw as a friend who he enjoyed having sex with from time to time...
Right?
One thing's for sure Y|N had more hope in this moment than she did last night when they were together.

Waking Up With The Shield - 2/3: Never Too Late For Love
Fandom: WWE.
Category: F/M.
Relationship: Seth Rollins x Female Reader.
Type: One shot.
Words: 1,377.
~~~~~~~~~~
I was peacefully asleep, silently lost in a sea of dreams, until I woke up out of the blue when I suddenly felt something rather heavy land on my face, bringing me back to reality right away.
"S-Seth...?" I weakly asked in a murmur.
With some difficulty, I opened my eyes as much as I could and instantly saw his arm had fallen on my face, covering one-half of it.
"Good God..." I murmured once more as I closed my eyes back. "Really, honey?"
With all of my morning strength, I grabbed hold of his limb with both of my hands and lifted it from my face before I set it to the side, next to my head: only then, when I turned my eyes to the rest of the bed did I realize he had actually invaded the totality of my side of the mattress with his entire body, one of his legs lying over one of mine, which had become completely numb by then. Additionally, his pillows had somehow slipped from underneath his head to have instead spread all over the bed and he had unconsciously pulled most of the sheets to himself, leaving half of my body uncovered. As I let out a sigh, I leaned to the side a little and grabbed hold of it: with a firm grip, I managed to pull the blanket closer to me by a few inches, which made Seth move slightly in his sleep.
Although his lips muttered something incoherent in a voice that was so quiet it was almost inaudible, he was still sound asleep, not showing any sign of waking up any time soon without me intervening. So, as I shook my head slowly, I turned my whole body to him and put my hands on his arms.
"Seth... Come on, wake up already." I said with a slight exasperation as I began to shake him in an attempt to force him to wake up.
When I saw my attempt had resulted in failure, I sighed for the second time.
I know he isn't doing this on purpose... But mornings like these are still so hard for me to get used to. I thought to myself as I stared down at his sleeping face.
Although he was an athlete who followed an intense training routine on a daily basis and regardless of how energetic he always was during the day, Seth happened to be a rather lazy person, a trait of his personality he rarely showed to anyone but me, considering I was around him more often than others. And that included waking up late whenever he could, whenever he had nothing planned, a concept I did not agree on: in my opinion, it was more productive to wake up early in the morning, as it allowed for better efficiency. But I knew Seth could not be helped, he was simply being himself.
As I continued to shake his arms, his body reacted just slightly, but I was still not getting any verbal response; after a minute or so, I eventually gave up and let go of him, my body slowly falling back down on the mattress. With my head now back on my pillow, I turned my gaze to the side, to my bedside table, and extended my arm toward it. I reached for my phone, grabbed it, brought it to my eyes, then looked at the time: 10 AM.
"Ugh, I knew it..." I said with yet another sigh.
With my phone still in my hand, I turned my head on my pillow and stared at Seth, his eyes still closed.
"Seth, do you have any idea what time it is?" I asked, although I expected no answer to come from his mouth.
"Yeah..." He feebly whispered.
"Oh, really? What time, then?"
"The time for me to sleep some more..." He answered as he brought the bedsheets against his face to cover it.
Upon hearing his reply, all the muscles in my body unclenched as I exhaled a deep breath.
"... You have no idea how much I'm fighting against the urge to hit you, right now." I let out as I rubbed my eyes with my hand.
But just as I covered part of my face, I felt a grip on my shoulders, and before I even knew it, I found myself in Seth's tender embrace.
"Please don't be mad at me, love." He murmured against my skin in an endearing tone of voice.
My ears listened to the soothing sound of his voice, which made me close my eyes and rest my head against his chest: whenever I was in his arms, my tension would always be eased, the warmth of his hugs calming me down and appeasing me, no matter which negative emotion was flowing through my body and infesting my mind. And he knew well taking me in his embrace meant I would not be able to stay mad at him for much longer.
"... You still love me?" He shyly asked me after a minute of silence, his words accompanied by a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"Of course I do, silly." I replied with a gentle chuckle while I caressed his arm. "You know it would take more than that for me to be truly angry at you."
As I said those words, a sudden thought flashed through my mind, freezing the palm of my hand in place.
"However... Did you take care of cleaning the kitchen last night before you went to bed?" I asked him, my head no longer against his chest and my eyes looking up into his. "Like you were supposed to?"
"Nope..." He answered with a yawn, his voice expressing slight shame.
Feeling exasperation invade my brain again, I rolled my eyes as I threw my head backward slightly.
"Of course you didn't..."
In an instant, I freed myself from Seth's grasp, pushed the bedsheets aside, and sat down on the edge of the mattress.
"All right, I'll do it myself, then." I declared while I rubbed my eyes again.
But before I could get up, I felt one of his hands grab the bottom of my t-shirt, which made me turn around on instinct.
"No. Please, sweetheart, stay." He said with eyes that expressed genuine desire. "I promise I'll take care of it later, really. But for now... I want you to stay in bed with me, just a little longer."
I stared into his eyes for a few seconds before I sighed softly and lay back down on the bed.
"Fine, you win."
My body was once again against his, my head nestled into the hollow of his shoulder, Seth's arms wrapped tightly around my waist.
"Thank you." He responded with an audible smile. "I know it can be somewhat annoying to you when I sleep in, but I only like to do it so we can share moments like this one. Moments when I have you in my arms, while comfortably lying in bed, before our respective days start. Having you this close to me reminds me of just how much I love you."
With the palm of his hand on my hair, he gently pulled my head away from his chest so that he could look down at me: with an affectionate smile, I reached for his dark, long hair and combed it with my fingers, while our eyes met. I could read a spark within his, which smiled at me, and mine smiled back.
"I love you, too." I said in return while my hand drifted down onto his cheek.
As my fingers traced his skin, my palm came in contact with his beard, rough yet soft, and the look in my eyes saddened.
"I'm sorry I'm always so pushy with you, love." I confessed with a hint of shame. "I know you don't like it..."
"Well, I know I can be annoying at times, so, I forgive you."
The two of us chuckled in unison, our laughs filling the loving atmosphere that reigned in the bedroom. I snuggled against him, the limbs of our bodies tangled up, and smiled happily.
"You're right..." I whispered as I closed my eyes. "Let's stay here a while."
MIND GAMES
PLANTONIC! SETH X OC
“You want to play mind games on your older brother?” Who can say no to that question……
On January 28, 2022, Adeline arrived at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri as an undercover security guard making sure everything was going as planned. Only Seth and Triple H knew she was here but nowhere in sight, till they heard a knock on his temporary office door.
“Sierra”
“Hotel”
“Inda”
“Echo”
“Lima”
“Delta”
“Shield”
I’m backstage pumping myself up by bouncing back and forth on my feet, as I am watching Seth march the way we used to many many years ago. Feeling nostalgia and power at the same time seeing my brother's face drop when he hears that music.
Oh, the worst is yet to come “Tribal Chief.”
As Seth is rolling over the barricade laughing, my brother is trying not to show any emotion. Now, Seth just needs to give me my que to come out. Seth asks for the microphone that Ms. Sammatha is holding hopefully nicely, she hands it over no problem while stepping back towards the ropes.
“Now I know that I shouldn't be doing this buuttt, it needs to happen. Roman, I think you are missing a special someone from your bloodline, aren’t ya?” The crowd goes absolutely feral while Roman is trying completely stone faced.
“And I said Hello Satan, ah.”
I strut around that corner with fans going more feral than when my dear cousin The Rock came back earlier. I smile and soak in all the fans that missed me, I see one poster in the crowd stating “I MISS HECATE” I point and smile at it, while shaking my head up and down confirming it was me. I am dressed in an updated version of my old shield gear, making a statement that I was on Seth's side. High waisted black cargo pants being held up with a black utility belt, with a slightly cropped black long sleeve shirt with a vest on, with mid-calf black and gray combat boots and a black mask making me look like a ninja. Going for a slightly old Seth look since he was the high-flying ninja back then. I continue my way down to the ring on beat with my music, slapping a few hands of fans. When I hit those steel stairs, I knew in a way I was gonna interfere with this match, even if it meant I took a hit for Seth. Seth sat on the second rope letting me get into the ring, marching my way up to Roman; taking down the mask and questioning his way of running WWE.
“o le a la le manatu o tina i lenei mea?” I inquired about him while walking away to Seths’ corner of the ring. The crowd “ooh” and “ahh” watching Roman and I interact with each other for over 8 years. (“so, what does mom think about this?”)
“Trust me, Mom isn't happy with you at all, especially with the FULL bloodline dear brother!” I yelled over the crowd to Roman. Front row definitely heard that and laughed.
“Now you beat his ass in any way shape or form, just don't let him win. I got your back, so keep an eye out for me.” while patting Seth's shoulder ducking under the ropes, jumping from the apron to the floor. I put my elbows on the apron crossing my arms doing a signature move from a coworker Hook looking bored and unamused.
“As in for pinfall for the Universal Championship. Introducing the challenger, being accompanied by Hecate Reigns, from Buffalo, Iowa; weighing in at 217 pounds SETH FREAKIN’ ROLLINS.”
“Now introducing the from Pensacola, Florida, weighing in at 265 pounds, he is the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, ROMAN REIGNS” as roman walked up to Seth all cocky with the title raised up in his right hand.
“You ain't shit without your family, oh wait your goons!” I snapped at my older brother that I don't want to claim.
The bell rings and they size each other up. ”Oh my god, let's get it going boys.” just being annoying but Seth laughs at me. Seth taunts Roman and Roman charges but Seth ducks and goes behind. Roman escapes. They go at it and Seth nails right hands to the face. Roman launches Seth into the corner and unloads with big forearms. Seth quickly turns it right back around and beats Roman down, then stomps away. Seth goes on and hits a Sling blade.
Seth sends Roman over the top rope and into the barrier. “Come on Roman, you’re letting him toss you around like a little ragdoll. Jeez, it's like you need your goons by your side.” I sighed in fake disappointment to taunt him.
Seth runs the ropes and nails a suicide dive, sending Roman back into the barrier. Seth returns to the ring, plays to the crowd for a pop, and nails another big suicide dive.
“WOOO let's go Seth!” “Show him again!” “Come on, no wasting time!” I screamed encouragement at Seth.
Seth keeps control and rolls Roman back in. Seth laughs at me while waiting on the apron for Roman to get up. Seth springboards in with the flying knee but Roman
knocks him out of the air with a big right hand. “Now how's that for your boy toy, huh?!?” Roman tries to rile me up but I shake my head in disappointment. “OH, NOW YOU ARE WANTING TO PUT SOME WORK IN, HUH?!” I yelled back.
Why is it so easy to get in your head, Roman? Aren’t you supposed to be “The Head of the Table?
Roman with a Drive-By now. I winced hard at that cause I knew that had to hurt. Roman runs around and leaps off the steel ring steps but Seth boots him in the gut in mid-air. Seth then catches Roman; I run over and help Seth with a big Shield Bomb through the announce table feeling complete nostalgia. Seth and I crouched down laughing and looking feral with power. Fans are going wild while Seth brings Roman back into the ring. Seth nails a top rope Frog Splash but Roman kicks out just in time. I start banging both my hands on the apron to get them going again.
Seth wastes sometime after climbing back up in the corner. He goes for the corkscrew “ROLL OUT!” Giving Seth a fair warning, since it looks like Roman is going to duck out of it. Roman goes for a Spear but Seth kicks him. I breathe a quick sigh of relief, that his ribs aren't broken yet. Seth keeps fighting and hits Roman in the back of the neck. Seth follows up with a Buckle Bomb and then hits the Stomp for a huge pop. Roman kicks out just in time and Seth can't believe it, he is looking over at me, while my hands are on my face gob smacked. Fans are also in shock.
“Come on, stop being shocked for a minute, be The Architect again. Get in the mind set, it's time for more mind games." I start sprouting my thoughts off my head so Seth's gears can start turning again. Seth starts scouting toward the corner I'm in to pick himself back up using the ropes.
“Come on Big Dog. Come on Big Dog.” Seth starts taunting Roman to recover and get up again, I laugh along with Seth.
Seth goes for a Stomp but Roman turns him inside out with a big clothesline. “Jesus, I told him to think like the architect, not Hunter’s dog.” I whispered to myself.
They're both down trying to recover but Roman snaps a bit and scurries over while down, mounts Seth and unloads with strikes as the referee warns him. “Yes, Roman take it out on the referee because he is doing his job correctly.” I shake my head in disbelief “You straight, ref?” I ask and he nods back at me. Roman powers Seth up and slams him with a big powerbomb in the middle of the ring for a 2 count. Roman looks angry that Seth still has energy in this brawl.
“You just gonna shit on everything that we did, huh? That's fun to you, huh? You're gonna laugh at me, huh?” Roman questions angrily but Seth just replies with a laughing “Yeah” He stops and unloads with forearms, Seth blocks a shot and pulls Roman into an armbar in the middle of the ring. “There you go, you're thinking now Seth!” I exclaimed at him while banging on the apron near him. Then, Roman powers up and slams Seth with a big powerbomb. Roman is holding on the ropes gathering himself while I'm screaming for Seth to get up, yet Roman is just muttering nonsense to himself.
“Really, can't you say that with your chest!?” “Mama and Rocky were right about you going crazy.” I start rambling, Roman shakes his head at me.
Roman picks up Seth by the back of his vest to send him into the ring post. Seths’ body falls to the floor, i go over to check up on him and assess him but Roman follows quickly and launches him into the barrier, sending him over into the timekeeper's area. Then Roman tries to shoo me away from the madness he sends Seth into (the steel ring steps) and keeps control. Seth does whisper to me that he is okay.
Roman brings it back in and stands tall so the crowd can acknowledge him but most boo along with me, as my thumbs are down. Roman levels Seth with a Superman Punch but he still kicks out at 2.
Yes, he aint winning with us here…. “Come on Seth, come here and catch ya breath.” I try to encourage Seth. Seth rolls outside for a breather by me. I see roman stalking his way over here, i think quickly for Seth. “Imma take this one but be behind me so you can break my fall.” he nods for a minute but realizes what's gonna happen a minute too late. Roman runs towards Seth but I push him down, Roman delivers the spear to me instead. Landing on Seth, the crowd gasps but starts booing at Roman, while I'm rolling on the left side of Seth near the broken announce table holding my ribs. It feels like the majority of my ribs are broken and it's getting hard to breathe. “Thank you for listening to me this once.” I groaned over to Seth.
Roman stands up realizing what just happened, not apologizing but staring at me with a blank shocked face; there is no remorse whatsoever. Roman brings it back into the ring and gets the crowd riled up with mostly boos, I’m sitting on the floor with my back being supported with the barricade. Roman calls for the Spear and runs but Seth turns it into a Pedigree. I cheer as loud as my lungs would let me, but Seth is slow to make the cover; so Roman kicks out right before the 3 counts. I groaned in pain and annoyance.
Fans chant "this is awesome!" Now I started cheering with them and banging my feet on the ground. Seth readies in the corner and gets the "Burn it down!" chants going as he stomps. Roman side-steps the Stomp and they trade shots in the middle of the ring. Seth with elbows and kicks to the head as he unloads. Roman powers out and rocks Seth. They run the ropes and Roman hits a big Spear. Seth starts laughing while down on his back. Roman is up to his knees first. Seth offers his fist for a Shield-style fist bump.
“Come on Bro, I’ll always cover for you. I’ll always love you.” Seth is still offering him the fist bump in pain but laughing slightly. I get up and get in the ring near Seth and offer Roman the same fist bump. My hand on the left side of Seth's hand.
Roman paces now as Seth and I keep laughing and ranting about The Shield, still down on the mat right beside each other.
“Come on, it's all for the love brother, Come on please.” I beg along with Seth.
Roman snaps a bit and grabs Seth, then drops him hard into the Guillotine submission, I jump back on the apron. Roman tightens the hold as Seth tries to break free and get to the ropes. I started cheering for Seth to reach the ropes, hoping he would follow the sound of my voice. Roman tightens the hold even more but Seth fades and his arm drops before he can touch the bottom rope. Referee Charles Robinson checks the arm, but Seth grabs the bottom rope, with my assistance pushing the rope towards his arm, without the referee knowing. I hear some claps behind me, knowing the fans are on Seth’s and I’s side. Sadly, Roman keeps the hold locked as the referee counts to 5, he doesn’t let go and the referee calls the match while Seth is holding the rope.
“Jesus Uce, you are that sour!” “Now everyone knows that you still haven’t beaten Seth Rollins.” I exclaimed toxically.
After the bell, the referee yells at Roman to break the hold but Roman rants about Seth deserving this and forcing him to do this. Roman finally breaks the hold and gets back to his feet. Seth is still down, and the fans and I are not happy. Fans chant "Roman sucks!" Now the so-called ‘The Tribal Chief’ looks out at the crowd. Seth is still down; I’m whispering in his ear encouragement to get up and out of the ring. Roman slowly exits the ring and walks over to a steel chair.
I get up into the ring by Seth to console and help him in any way possible, not keeping an eye on Roman. I help Seth to his feet while he is holding on the ropes, I'm hovering around his right arm to keep his balance. We start to hear “Boos” from the crowd, I'm thinking it's just Roman being “The Tribal Chief”. Seth and I are backing up and my eye catches him in the corner with a chair. As he is about to hit, I run back and take the chair shot to my back. I black out due to the chair hitting a certain nerve. All I remember is darkness and the raging “Boos” from the crowd.
{~I'm very serious with you guys interacting with my writing!!!! it would make me so happy & excited, the more comments & reposts the more inspiration i have to write :) likes and comments are strongly appreciated so please COMMENT COMMENT COMMENT COMMEENNTTT the more comments the more content <3!!!~}
-Seth & You are two very simple compatible people, The two of you met when you volunteered as makeup and hair help for the wwe ladies when they were short on makeup and hair artists, he would usually spend his free time in whatever room you were doing hair in just to wither watch you or chit chat & this eventually turned into attraction & you two both agreed on taking things very steady
-He didn’t want to immediately start of with a glitz and glamour for a 1st date because that is stressful to get ready for on the ladies part, you two are into the easy fun stuff & what is more fun that an in town carnival? Exactly.
-Seth is the type of guy to be very proud of being able to pull any kind of woman so he definitely proudly shows you off, holds your hand, wraps an arm around you, feeding you personally because why are you as the love of his life putting in work? Exactly stfu.
-If you got a snow cone that wasn’t the flavor you expected it to be and it genuinely tastes awful to you he is already switching cones, luckily for Seth he eats anything so he has no issue trading snacks
-Seth once made the mistake of bringing his beer onto the ferris wheel and once it started up it shook a little bit and it freaked him out and he ended spilling his beer all over his shirt so he had to walk around with a carnival bought t-shirt that was the most embarrassing thing wver
-When you two go on any of those carnival rides he holds you extremely close in the assumption you might get hurt & honestly, he would rather die in a gorilla pit than you get a singular scratch.
-He’s the type of guy to impress you with winning 10 dozens of stuffed animals at the carnival games instead of impressing you with the riches, every-time he wins a teddy bear he immediately gives it to you “I just won this thing are you in love with me yet or what” “yes baby I’m very much in love with you.”
-One mistake you do make though is play a competitive game with him, don’t do that, like ever, he is easily competitive and will make it a goal to win.
-He really likes fire work shows so when the event is closing up you two would sit in the back of his car in the trunk and watch the fireworks and just cuddle while he’s internally freaking out. He has the biggest crush on you if you haven’t already noticed.
-later in your guy’s relationship he hates secrets or having to keep a secret, Seth is a total blabber mouth so if he thinks he’s in trouble over anything he immediately runs to you or calls you in the middle of the night and starts word vomiting over the most stupidest thing he did “I just stood next too Liv Morgan & I was like omg her hair looks good what if the love of my life Y/N did it and i was staring at her hair for too long & She glared at me and now she probably thought I was being some weirdo fucking creep but I swear I wasn’t I WAS JUST TRYING TO OBSERVE WHETHER OR NOT YOU DID HER HAIR I’m sorr-“ “Seth, it’s 4 in the fucking morning GO TO SLEEP-“
I CAN SEE YOU
CHAPTER II: WATCHING YOU FOR AGES
seth rollins x fem!writer+producer reader
word count: [8.5K]
warnings: no use of y/n, mild cursing, mentions of having a baby out of wedlock (steph and paul), slight allusions to anxiety/loneliness, flirting (you don't even have to squint), mostly a light-hearted, domestic chapter <3
🎧 the soundtrack
summary: You're still getting accustomed to the fast life that comes with working for WWE, but it's all starting to settle down and you're beginning to feel like you belong with each day that passes—and it sure does help when a special someone is always going out of their way to make sure you know it too.
Seth and the rest of the superstars sat patiently on the shuttle bus, awaiting one last person before they could head to the arena for the night’s taping of SmackDown. It wasn’t often that they got to travel as one big group, but it was always something he took up when possible.
Usually the procedure was driving themselves to and from cities, hotels, and arenas, but now that Paul was in charge, he did his best to work in bus accommodations in order to give talent the slot to relax before shows. But even then, some opted to drive themselves, like Roman who was missing from his usual seat beside Seth.
“Who are we even waiting for?” Xavier complained, standing up to scan the area, trying to detect who exactly was holding them up.
“I’m surprised it isn’t you,” Seth cackled over at Finn who was notoriously known for being chronically late to every bus ride.
The Irish lad rolled his eyes. “Whoever has me beat is far more a mess.”
“Mr. Driver, can we get this show on the road?” piped Kofi with a clap as all the superstars agreed, preferring to get to the arena before doors so they could all get situated.
The driver looked up in the rear-view mirror, laughing shortly with the shake of his head. The superstars grumbled, patience dwindling by the second, trying to pinpoint who was the culprit of them running behind and making a pact to bar them from any future bus rides.
It wasn’t unusual for a crowd to gather outside the hotel—many of them children accompanied with their parents to get autographs and photos if they weren’t able to snag tickets to the show. But this time around, the crowd felt larger, more amateur photographers scattered throughout, which was odd considering it wasn’t a pay-per-view event.
“Oh, shit…” Big E singsonged, leaning out of his seat towards the window to see what all the ruckus was about as the fans’ cheers got louder.
Security surrounded you closely, keeping their arms outwards to stop people from getting too close to you. You happily waved at everyone, pausing for the kids who asked for autographs and selfies, making small talk with them before you waved goodbye and continued following the security.
“This way, Ms. Levesque.” One of the guards escorted you towards the doors of the bus, holding it open and ensuring you’d get in safely.
“Thank you,” you murmured with a tight smile, giving each of them a handshake for going out of their way for you.
“Hi! I’m so sorry for the holdup,” you apologized sincerely, turning to meet the driver, “They just wanted to make sure we were clear to go ahead.” You explained, extending your hand.
The man reassured you with a comforting shake of his head and meeting your hand gently. Your father was extremely protective of you, therefore many, if not all drivers and security crew of the company were well aware of the procedure of making sure you got where you needed to be safely no matter how long it took.
“You are precious cargo, Ms. Levesque. Have a seat and I’ll get us to the arena promptly.” He directed, gesturing you to get comfortable wherever you pleased.
Passing through the aisle, you smiled and said your ‘hello’s’ to everyone, most were surprised that you were joining them, considering that you were almost always a driven separately.
But what they didn’t know was that you had to practically beg your father to switch transportation for the day, simply wanting to be around everyone instead of being chauffeured to every event, which was starting to become a little lonely.
Seth sat in the last row of the bus, an empty seat beside him catching your eye. You paused in the aisle, pointing to the space with a hopeful smile.
“Is it okay if I sit here?” you asked timidly, crossing your fingers he didn’t mind you invading his space.
He immediately bopped his head, patting the seat.
“Course, here, let me help you.” He offered, holding his arms out towards you to take your things so that you could get settled with the fuss.
“Thanks.” You breathed a sigh of relief, passing him your purse and laptop.
You slid into the seat and buckled in before retrieving your stuff, your eyes meeting Seth’s with a grateful expression when his fingers brushed against yours for a split second.
“I hope you guys weren’t waiting too long,” you apologized, placing your purse on the ground between your feet.
He shook his head, leaning back into his seat. “Nah, we weren’t waiting long. Plus, it’s always a pleasure to be waiting for the princess herself.”
You giggled, brushing your hair over your shoulders then laying your head against the rest. “I’ll be sure to remember that.”
The bus began moving en route to the arena that was a good twenty-five minutes away, giving you enough time to look over the script that you had been working on since what felt like forever ago. It was a part of an assignment your dad had you complete ting—writing four original scripts for the main roster, three of which focused on superstars who needed a bit more of character development.
The three completed scripts were met with praise by your dad alongside a number of producers and fellow writers who thought you were able to curate a story worthy enough to be showcased on TV. The remaining storyline, however, was a challenge—a romantic one.
You had been circling back to early storylines that involved romance, and while they were entertaining and good TV, they all felt one dimensional.
Therefore, you challenged yourself to come up with a script that would allow both leads to shine without acting as if their relationship was the only thing that existed. Sure, it was a longshot your dad would approve of it since TV hadn’t seen a romance trope in a while, but you wanted to take the risk and give it a shot.
“Important business?” Seth peered past your shoulder, raising his brow at your screen that had an overwhelming volume of text splayed across it.
You gawked up at him, nodding with a light laugh. “Just my final assignment.”
He looked at you, confused, feigning concern. “Final assignment? Did I miss the memo or something?”
You swung your head as you giggled, stopping your typing in order to show him exactly what you were up to.
“It’s the last storyline I’m writing for my dad to approve. I’ve been working on it for a while and now I’m just trying to polish it up for him.” You explained, tilting the screen towards him as you scrolled through the document.
“Whose it for?” he wondered, genuine curiosity in his eyes as he read a short fragment.
You rolled your shoulders with a shrug.
“To be honest, I don’t even have any particular superstars in mind. It’s very vague, but the details and sequencing are all there.”
“Well, if you’re writing it, I’m positive it’ll be worthy of Paul’s green-light.” He said confidently, his tone sincere, hoping it would make you feel slightly better to know he was rooting for you.
“I hope so,” your voice soft, exchanging tight smiles before you turned your attention back to work, trying to ignore the feeling of Seth’s eyes peering at you every so often while you typed away.
The bus ride was the perfect change of scenery even if it was just for a little while. It had been a bit lonesome traveling all by yourself and with the presence of everyone else you started to feel like you could get into the groove of things. Even if you weren’t involved in the conversation, the chatter of everyone cracking jokes made you grin through the work.
As the bus parked out back, the driver promptly exited to get the undercarriage opened so that talent could retrieve their luggages. Everyone stayed in their seats, just getting up to stretch their legs.
A security personnel poked their head into the bus, scanning the area until they saw you.
“Ms. Levesque, we’re going to escort you into the building.”
You acknowledged them with a nod, swiftly closing your laptop and gathering your things.
“How come we don’t get an escort too?” Kofi frowned, eliciting amusement from the entire bus, including yourself.
“Because I’m not a professional wrestler who could easily defend herself against crazed fans.” You half-joked with a pout.
“Noted.” Kofi replied with a smirk, flexing his arms and taking what you said as a compliment.
You shook your head with a laugh, turning back to Seth, who had been watching closely visibly seeing that now you were breaking out of your shell and learning everyone’s personalities.
“I’ll see you inside?” You proposed, getting up from your seat.
He nodded, knocking his knuckles against the window behind him. “See you in there.”
You twiddled your fingers goodbye before you walked through the aisle towards the front of the bus where security was already waiting.
“Bye everyone! I’ll see you inside,” you called out to everyone, waving as you exited and followed security through the surveillance screening to get into the arena.
After retrieving his bags, Seth headed straight to the locker room, dropping off his bags and then making his way toward catering for some food. He caught a glimpse of you on the way there, already sitting in hair and makeup, doing work on your laptop while you chit-chatted with the ladies.
He figured he’d leave you to it, hoping he’d run into you later in the night to talk more. He knew how important it was to make others feel welcomed, but it felt especially important to him that he could be someone you knew you could lean on, whether it was casual conversations or just talking about work.
“Where you off to? We’re all scheduled for a meeting with Paul.” Charlotte stopped him in the halls, going in the opposite direction of where all the talent was heading.
He scratched the back of his neck, pointing at her phone in her hand, “Was it an email? I didn’t see it on the itinerary.”
The blonde nodded, scrolling through her inbox. “Should’ve got sent to you this morning, but it doesn’t matter. It said all talent anyway.”
Seth nodded, walking alongside her, noting just how many people were headed in the same direction as Paul’s office. Usually they were all scheduled for meeting by group, but it seemed like it was an important one if Paul was calling for everyone on the same day at the same time.
As they squeezed into the office, some superstars found empty chairs while the rest stood against the walls, making space for those still arriving. The room buzzed with loud chatter, everyone speculating about the meeting’s purpose, hoping it wasn’t anything bad, like another round of roster splits.
Paul who sat at the head of the table, finally cleared his throat, silencing the room with an assertive presence that meant business.
“Okay everyone, let’s make this quick so you all can get out of here.” He rubbed his hands together, passing around papers that had the upcoming schedule for the next month.
“We’ve got some shows scattered across the east coast and mid-west. We’re prepping for SummerSlam, so things are going to start moving quicker and as we wrap up some storylines, we’re also going to be starting new ones.”
Many of the superstars were already well aware if they would be on the pay-per-view card or not, except Seth, who was still awaiting his opponent after he and Dean lost the tag team championships to Sheamus and Cesaro. They were originally going to have a rematch, but Dean ended up getting written into a different storyline with The Miz for the intercontinental championship.
“As you know my daughter joined us just a few days ago, but she has been watching and closely working alongside creative and producers in order to write a few scripts. Some of which will be getting played out in the coming weeks.”
Seth heard through the grapevine that some superstars already had meetings with you the following day after your debut to pitch the new storylines. Braun Strowman was one of the superstars to have a script written specifically for himself, and it was safe to say that everyone else was excited to see if they’d receive a script with your name on it too.
Your father was also greatly elated that you were taking the reins on helping him develop some talent—the pride evident in his voice and face as he spoke about you though you weren’t around to hear.
“And speaking about my daughter, I feel like this goes without saying, but just to make it abundantly clear, I think you should hear it from me.”
The tone in Paul’s voice suddenly shifted to something more serious, causing the superstars to deliberately fixate their sights on him.
“She’s new to this scene and to be quite frank she didn’t even want to step foot anywhere near the business, but she gave it a shot and while she’s still getting adjusted to the way things work around here, I have a good feeling she’s going to be the person taking over when I decide its time for me to step away…”
Everyone nodded along understanding that Paul’s time in charge might not be for long seeing as though he was getting older and he didn’t want to overstay his position of the head of creative knowing that it was best for a new perspective to be let in before things went stale.
Paul took a deep breath, the shift in his demeanor palpable as he transitioned from boss to protective father. His eyes scanned the room, settling on each superstar with a look that spoke volumes and caused most of them to squirm including Seth.
“Which is why I need to make myself crystal clear,” he began, his voice firm and unwavering. “My daughter is absolutely off-limits.”
He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in despite him feeling like it should have been an automatic rule everyone should’ve been expected to follow without him saying it explicitly.
Seth found it a little hypocritical considering the nature of Paul and Stephanie’s relationship. Everyone knew they had gotten together despite Vince’s warning and everyone else tell them it was bad for business, yet here they were years later not only married but with four daughters to show for it.
But Seth also knew that mixing pleasure with business wasn’t always successful as theirs was—most times it was like playing a dangerous game, and he respected that aspect of it—plus, who would be crazy enough to go after the boss’s daughter, anyway?
“She’s a sweet girl,” he continued, his voice softening slightly trying not to get emotional when it came to you.
“And I’m not just saying that because she’s my kid. If anyone were to hurt her, especially when I’m the person signing their checks, I would hate to be the one to have to fire them too. Am I clear?”
Paul was anything other than threatening especially outside of the character he played up for fans, but it felt like the first time he showed the true colors that could come out if anyone dared to get on his bad side. There was a collective ‘yes’ that filled the room, nearly suffocating everyone with how thick the tension in the air was.
From the back of the room, Randy’s voice cut through the silence with a choked up laugh.
“I guess my dreams of calling you dad are finally crushed.”
Laughter calmed the room and everyone in it—of course Randy was the only one who could make a joke like that and live to see another day.
Paul chortled, pointing a finger in his direction. “Son of a bitch,” he muttered, shaking his head and settling down.
Just then, the door swung open, causing everyone to look in its direction.
You stumbled in, changed out of your casual clothing into a little black dress with your hair pinned up in curlers. Your eyes widened, forehead creasing with worry as you quickly shut the door and darted your eyes towards your dad, sputtering out an apology.
“I’m sorry, I’m late! I thought the meeting started at—”
He shook his head, lifting a hand and cutting you off. “You’re right on time, sweetheart. I just got them briefed on next month’s schedule.”
He picked up one of the printed papers, waving you over to sit in the empty seat next to him.
A sigh of relief escaped your lips, smiling and waving to all the superstars as you made your way to the front of the room.
“Is there anything you guys talked about?” You speculated, brushing your hands against the fabric of your dress before you sat.
Everyone remained dead silent, shaking their heads realizing Paul had strategically given you a different time just so he could give all of them the word of warning without you present.
For a moment you caught eyes with Seth who stood near the back of the room, arms crossed over his chest and he quickly moved his eyes elsewhere, shaking his head like everyone else.
Your dad clicked his tongue, getting your attention. “No, just that and briefly about the storylines you had been working on.” He replied smoothly, covering the previous discussion without you knowing.
“Maybe you should formally introduce yourself, since they don’t know very much about you.”
He sat back in his chair, nodding for you to go ahead. For some reason, it was more nerve-racking to talk to all of them at once instead of the usual one-on-one conversations you had been having with them as the week went on.
“Oh, okay,” you muttered, nodding your head as you stood up, taking a deep breath.
“My apologies in advance for how I look right now. As you could tell, I am horrible with time management.” You bit your lip, miming at your head of curlers.
The room snickered, somewhat relaxing you seeing that they weren’t as intimidating and scary as they came off. They all understood how hectic the job could get, and some of them were still needed to change into gear, which made you feel like it was no big deal after all.
“As you know I’m Paul and Stephanie’s eldest daughter and I am currently serving as a freshman creative writer and backstage producer on the main roster. But before this, I had been writing storylines for NXT, the developmental brand, for about a year and a half. And before that, I was working in freelance writing after I graduated college.” You said, gaining a little more confidence the more you spoke.
“On screen I play according to my dad, a semi-heel and semi-face heiress to the legacy in which my mother’s side of the family forged and now has merged with father. And now that you’re all here, I just wanted to say thank you for welcoming me with open arms and giving me the opportunity to be a part of your world.” You pressed your hands together, bowing slightly towards them.
You caught a few impressed nods and smiles from the superstars, clearly unaware of your extensive experience and appreciating that you gave them their flowers despite you still being so new to the main roster.
“It’s been a huge deal for me that my father trusts me with creating stories, and I know it’s important that you, the performers who make it your own, feel connected to them, therefore I am always open to talking and hearing what we could do to make it better. So please do not feel intimidated by me at all—I’m seriously the least intimidating person around here, and I can’t wait to work with you all.”
The room filled with a round of applause that made you smile in relief as you sat back down after what felt like eternity with all eyes on you. And of course, like your eyes were trained to look in his direction, you couldn’t miss Seth wearing a tight lip grin and giving you a subtle thumbs up as if he knew you would be looking his way.
Your dad reached over, giving you a small pat on the back, displaying a proud smile.
“Well, that wraps it up. Let’s have a good show tonight, alright?”
Everyone slowly began to file out of your dad’s office, a few superstars sticking around to catch up with him, while some came up to you, indicating their excitement at having you on board. Seth waited until you wrapped up with some of them before approaching you to do the same.
“Good job,” Seth spoke genuinely, giving your arm a gentle tap, “Didn’t know you had so much experience.”
You laughed softly, feeling at ease with him around compared to everyone else.
“I didn’t want to bore you with my resume.” You shrugged.
Your father turned his attention to you both, a surprised look spreading across his face as he gestured between you both.
“You guys met already?”
You looked up at Seth, nodding with a silly grin before turning to your dad. “I actually ran into him on Monday before the show. I was totally klutz and bumped into him.” You confessed embarrassingly.
“Sounds just about right.” Your dad joked, prompting you to roll your eyes.
“She did deceive me a little bit,” Seth started, tipping his head towards you, “Left out that she’s the boss’s daughter.”
Your dad let out a snort, shaking his head knowing that you partly did so because you didn’t want to gloat, but mostly because you wanted to keep your debut a surprise for as long as possible.
“How are you feeling today?” Paul asked curiously, lacing his fingers together as he sat back into his chair.
You played with your fingers idly, smiling a little, “I think I’m getting the hang of it, but I still get nervous getting on live tv.” You admitted.
“Well, tonight’s good practice. You’ve got three short segments with some superstars, so they’ll help you through it.”
Alexa Bliss, Kevin Owens, and Roman Reigns.
You had gone over the script an abundant amount of times having your lines memorized off the top of your head.
Alexa, you had met down in NXT before she was drafted onto the main roster, the two of you becoming good acquaintances outside of the ring. When she found out you two would be having a segment together, she immediately shot you a text, gushing about how excited she was.
Kevin was introduced to you by your dad on Monday night. Him voicing his delight that you decided to come work for the company and all nice things said about the storylines you had forged in NXT prior. He still had a few friends down in developmental who bragged about the storylines you and Shawn were working on together and now that he finally had a face to your name, he was excited about what else you’d do on the main roster.
Roman was someone you watched consistently on TV. He was a part of the same faction Seth and Dean were in—The Shield. You hadn’t met him on Monday since he was on paternity leave, but tonight, having him back in action was the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself.
“Speaking of that,” you diverted your eyes back up to Seth who lingered at your side, “Do you know where Roman might be? I didn’t get the chance to talk to him one on one yet.”
Seth nodded, pointing his thumbs towards the door.
“I’m pretty sure he’s in catering. I’m heading there now if you want to come with.” He offered politely.
And you nodded thankfully, getting up to reach over and give your dad a small hug, “I’ll stop by before the show.”
“Don’t forget to get those out of your hair,” he reminded, chuckling along with Seth as you shook your head. “See you later, Seth,” He added, giving the wrestler a firm handshake before you were on your way.
The hallways were busy with crew members rolling in carts and transporting equipment before doors opened—a rush you were just starting to get used to it. You and Seth were practically shoulder to shoulder trying not to get in anyone’s way. Each time your hand brushed against his arm, you muttered a quiet apology, to which he hushed you, saying it was nothing to worry about.
As the haste in the hallway slowly dwindled, you glanced at him. “Thanks for saying those kinds of things. I really appreciate it.”
So far, Seth was the one superstar you had multiple interactions with and he had been pleasant each and every single time. You figured it was because he held a lot of respect for your dad, but another part of you knew it was just him being a good person.
He met your eyes, nodding his head and rubbing his hands together, “I know how daunting it is, especially when you’re so new to the scene, but just know that everyone already thinks you’re killing it…me especially.” He bragged, gesturing to himself with a smirk.
Your cheeks rose with a smile. “Thank you,” you whispered, and it never seemed to leave your face after that.
Reaching catering, he held the door open for you, letting you through first. Renee and Charlotte had caught a glimpse and immediately waved at you, their eyes briefly widening when they saw Seth strolling in behind you. He said something to you, pointing towards Roman’s back at the same table where the rest of his friends sat.
“Yo, big dog!” He shouted, garnering Roman’s attention as the man looked over his shoulder.
Seth motioned to you then headed off to grab food while you walked up to the man. You immediately greeted him with a glowing smile and a small wave. He grinned, setting his fork down and sticking his hand out to shake yours.
“Hey! Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt you, but I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I heard you and your wife just welcomed two new little ones—congratulations!” You bubbled, making him smile at the thoughtfulness.
Rising up out of his chair, he opening his arms and gave you a warm appreciative hug.
“Thanks, and it’s nice to meet you too.” He replied, before drawing away, “I saw what you did on Monday and man…the fans already love you.” He smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.
“I think they’re still a little skeptical if I’m going to be more like my mom’s character or my dad’s.” You threw your hands up, making him chuckle.
Nearly forgetting, your eyes widened, and you snapped your fingers.
“And hey, if you want to change anything about our segment, just let me know. I’m always in my office and if I’m not there, I’m probably hiding from my dad’s personal assistant.”
He and the rest of the table cracked a laugh, aware that your father kept a close eye on you, especially after what they gathered from the meeting.
“I appreciate that. It’s always nice to know I can talk to you,” He replied earnestly, his statement showing his gratitude before taking his seat again to continue eating.
“Wanna sit?” Seth offered, returning with a plate of food and he pulled out the empty chair beside him for you to take. You nodded, thanking him with a smile as you took a seat.
“So you said that before NXT you were working as a freelance writer,” Renee spoke, leaning towards you across the table and you nodded. “Anything we know you from?”
You thought for a moment, shaking your head.
“To be honest, I don’t think so. I did a lot of screenwriting after college. Short films and mini projects that didn’t really take off, but then after that I got really into creative writing and launched a tiny little column in the local paper about fictional entertainment.”
“Wow, you really are a workhorse.” Dean complimented.
“You have to show us one of your short films someday,” Seth chimed in, chuckling when he saw embarrassment flush over your cheeks.
You shook your head vigorously, covering your face, making everyone laugh and shake their heads.
“It was mediocre at the very least. A lot of angst and tropey plot lines.”
Maybe it was you attempting to be humble or truly just wanting to save yourself the mess, but they all knew deep down that you had a vividly gifted mind. It already proved itself to be true with the experience you had, but more so in the fact that you took the time to make sure everyone in the locker-room knew you were approachable because the storylines meant just as much to you as it did to them.
Charlotte reached across the table, grazing your hand, “We’re all going out to dinner tonight. You should join us!”
She extended the invitation with a friendly smile, hoping you would take her up on it, seeing as though they all wanted to get to know you more.
“You sure?” You asked hesitantly, not wanting to impose.
“Yeah, come on,” Seth nudged you gently, flashing you a toothy grin, “The restaurant we’re going to is known for the best steak in the city and I heard they’ve got a killer dessert menu.” His voice had a teasing lilt, as if trying to entice you.
You pressed your lips together, shoulders caving in shyly until you finally nodded.
“Sure, why not” You gave in, the table hooting with a frenzy, making you smile wider.
“I just have to ask my driver to drop me off. Do you mind giving me the address?” You asked, looking towards Charlotte.
“You could ride with me and Seth after the show,” Roman suggested, jutting his chin over at his buddy who nodded in agreement.
“And we’re staying at the same hotel, so it’ll be no problem getting back.” Seth added, his eyes meeting yours in a reassuring gaze.
You nodded, smiling happily, “That’s perfect, thank you so much! Should I meet you guys in the parking garage after the show?”
They nodded. “We’ll be there.”
“Great! I’m going to get these out of hair, but I’ll see you guys tonight!” You beamed, rising up and giving all of them a wave.
As you wandered away, you suddenly turned back on your heel, shooting Roman a playful point.
“And I’ll see you later for the segment!” You added eagerly, and he chuckled nodding as you went on your way.
By the time the main event match was wrapping up, gorilla was nearly empty. Just a few producers and your dad who hung back sticking around to congratulate Kevin and Roman.
You had been sitting in gorilla after your three segments had wrapped, needing a change in scenery while you worked through your final script and took some producer notes as your dad worked.
Soon enough Roman’s music hit, signaling the end of the show. The hard camera continued rolling for a few more seconds until your dad spoke through the headsets to cut, and soon the two superstars began making their way up the ramp.
You immediately stood up, walking over to the curtain to greet them, watching as they shook each other’s hand.
“Amazing match, you two,” you applauded.
The two men laughed when you stuck your arm out offering them a first bump, not wanting to give them a proper hug due to the sweat and they met your knuckles in a friendly manner.
Roman pointed at you, still catching his breath as a stage hand passed him a bottle of water.
“Parking garage, don’t forget.” He spoke and then chugged the liquid.
You nodded, thanking him for reminding you, “Yeah, I’ll be there as soon as I wrap up here.”
He went over to your father and the rest of the producers, shaking their hands before heading to the locker room to catch a shower and gather his things for the road. You said goodnight to all that were leaving, thanking them for their kind words regarding your segment and all the work you had been doing so far.
Your dad took off his headsets, shrugging off his suit jacket.
“Where you headed off to?” He wondered, watching you collect your laptop and notebook from the monitor desks.
“Charlotte invited me out to dinner with a few people and I’m gonna catch a ride with Roman and Seth there.” You announced cheerfully, holding your things against your chest.
He smiled lovingly, happy to see that they were making an effort to make you feel extra welcomed.
“That’s nice of them. Just make sure you get back to the hotel alright. We have an early flight in the morning.”
“Of course, dad.” You nodded, going to give him a hug, “And if you see Eddie, tell him I said thank you for sending my stuff over to my suite.” You spoke against him.
He nodded, pressing a kiss to cheek forehead. “Shoot me a text when you turn in. I love you.”
“Love you too, dad.”
You quickly made a pit stop at your office to tidy up the space and grab the rest of your belongings, checking that you had everything before the arena locked up for the night. Anticipating the brisk cold of the night, you pulled on your black oversized blazer, giving the room one last look over before shutting the door and walking towards the back entrance where the parking garage was located.
You looked around, stepping further until you spotted Roman and Seth loading up the trunk of their rental with their bags while Charlotte, Renee, and Dean lingered against the rental beside them, making small talk while waiting for you.
Your heels clacked against the concrete, catching their attention.
“Thanks again for the ride,” you chirped, pausing near the boys who finished up sliding in their luggage and bags.
Seth frowned, looking down and around you.
“Where’s your stuff?” He wondered, pointing to the small space he reserved for your things.
You waved your hand off in the air, “Eddie sent it over to my suite earlier in the night. Didn’t want you guys doing extra arm work.”
Roman tsked, patted his biceps and flexing them dramatically, “Don’t worry, baby girl, these puppies can lift anything.”
You giggled, rolling your eyes playfully until Dean whistled, tossing his keys between his palms.
“Let’s get this show on the road. I want my steak pronto.” He said, rubbing his tummy.
You all began getting into your respective cars. Seth taking the liberty of motioning you to follow him, holding open the backdoor for you, “After you.”
“Thanks,” you murmured softly, sliding in and buckling your seatbelt.
He shut your door gently, walking around to the driver’s seat, getting the car started while Roman got comfortable in the passenger. The radio was on low, and Seth deliberately toggled with the climate control, turning on the heating for the backseat, knowing you were a bit chilly now that you sported a jacket over your dress.
He signalled for Dean to go first, waiting as the other car reversed out of the stall, and Seth followed behind en route to the restaurant that was just a few more minutes into the city.
Roman cleared his throat, briefly looking back at you. “How did you feel about your segments?”
You shifted in your seat, sitting up a tad. “It actually went better than I thought! It’s just the thought of the camera being there and the anticipation of going live that gets me all nervous.”
They both understood what you meant, and to be fair they had a bit of an advantage when they were first starting out. Seth, Roman, and Dean having each other to lean on during segments, matches, and promos which made the whole thing feel less intimidating and prepared them for when they became singles competitors.
“Well, if it makes you feel better, the crowd is already receptive to you and you have good chemistry with everyone you’ve worked with so far.” Seth said kindly, eyes looking at you in the rearview, catching a smile that spread across your face even in the dingy lighting of the car.
The rest of the drive was full of chitchat—Roman gushing over his kids, pride sweltering as he spoke about them and how much he missed them while on the road. Seth expressed the same feelings, except regarding his adorable yorkie named Kevin who he had since his NXT days.
You had a little bit of both—three little sisters whom you were extremely close with, and like a second mother figure to them, and childhood dogs who snuggled you each time you came to visit home.
When you all arrived, Seth the ever gentleman he was, opened your door, helping you out before you all walked in. The restaurant was rustic yet sleek, nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary, which was charming for a nice spot in the city. The heavy wooden doors gave way to the space adorned with marble countertops and wooden panelling that complimented the setting.
“You guys can follow me…” the hostess instructed, guiding your group towards the back of the restaurant in a secluded corner perfect for all seven of you.
Everyone picked their seats—Dean and Renee sitting on one side along with Charlotte. Roman sat at the head of the table and you and Seth sat directly across from the trio, with you on the tail end.
He pulled out the chair for you, nodding his head as you smiled and bowed slightly at the gesture. “Why thank you,” you giggled, taking a seat as he pushed the chair in slightly and took the empty adjacent to Roman.
The hostess got you all started with some menus, letting you all browse over it before she would come back and get your orders. You flipped through the laminated pages, picking two items just in case they were out of the other.
You peered over at Seth who was doing the same until you nudged your elbow gently into his, gaining his attention as he perked up and nodded towards you.
“What are you getting?”
“A medium rare tomahawk, potatoes, and a water,” He said without skipping a beat or taking another look at the menu, “I already knew what I was gonna get.”
The act alone made you giggle, shaking your head at him as he too broke out into a laugh, watching you fold up your menu as you settled down.
“So you were just trying to fit in the whole time?” You bantered, narrowing your eyes at him.
He rubbed his hands over his chest, nodding, “I didn’t want to be the only one not looking at the menu.” He whispered, eyes shifting to everyone else who was still deciding what they were going to get.
You sat back, folding your arms across your chest, shifting an inch closer to him, “I probably won’t get anything too fancy, but I am definitely getting some red wine…you’re not having a beer?”
He shook his head, mimicking your action, his shoulder pressed against your arm. “I am transporting precious cargo and I would hate for you to suffer even a scratch.”
You felt warm all over, trying to suppress another smile that always seemed to be incessantly glued to your face whenever Seth said something nice to you. And you failed to conceal it again, letting your cheeks rise.
“I appreciate your chivalry.” You spoke quietly enough for just him to hear.
“You’re getting dessert after too, right?” He insisted, pointing at the image of a chocolate lava cake that he was most certainly talking up earlier in the night.
You pursed your lips, not knowing if you could stomach it by yourself. “Wanna split it?”
He smirked, nodding, “Yeah sure, but just letting you know, I am going to ask for a scoop of vanilla ice cream over top.”
“Sounds divine.” You wiggled your brows, making him chuckle.
Dinner was full of laughter, with food and drinks served on the side. It had been a while since you had been around people who made you laugh so much without even trying too hard. All of them were so lively, cracking jokes left and right and somehow still being able to carry a casual conversation without missing a beat.
You felt safe around all of them, a kind of camaraderie that didn’t make you feel as if you were just solely the boss’s daughter, but rather a friend in the making through your new venture in life. Good things took time, and you knew the friendships you were going to make with all of them was totally worth it.
“No, they did not!” Renee and Charlotte stared at you wide eyed, the rest of the table bursting out into laughs while you nodded your head instantaneously and rested your palms on the tabletop, leaning towards them.
“I swear to god, I’m not making this up!” You drew an x over your heart, holding your palms in the air.
“Maybe I pissed the guy off for turning him down, but there I was getting ready to drive to class and that piece of shit spray painted “suck it!” all over my car!” You exclaimed, disturbed, but not for long, as you threw your head back and laughed uncontrollably.
The girls followed suit, hunching over the table, reaching for your arms and clinging to you while you all laughed like little kids. You had no clue how you got to talking about your terrible college experience with boys, but somehow you got there, and everyone was dumbfounded that one guy you turned down would go all Degeneration X on you.
“Your parents must have been pissed, right?” Dean sought, settling down with a stiffled laugh.
Your eyes widened as you nodded, sipping on your wine before you replied.
“Oh, they were livid once they first found out! But eventually when it passed, and I got it painted over, we just couldn’t stop laughing because it was just so absurd.”
Roman shook his head, staring at you in amazement.
“I can’t believe we didn’t know about you this entire time. Your parents really kept you out of the limelight, huh?”
You nodded, “That, and the fact that having a baby out of wedlock really wasn’t something my parents wanted out at the time—mostly because of my grandpa Vince.”
They all winced, grinning guiltily knowing of course Vince of all people was the one who wanted to keep his daughter’s premarital pregnancy under wraps. Thankfully, now it wasn’t such a big deal and you and your parents found it slightly comical.
“What’s funny is that I swore I saw you running up and down the arenas back when I was like 10 and you were like 3?” Charlotte recalled, looking over at you puzzled.
You nodded, gesturing up at your hair. “If my hair was in pigtails and I sported a gigantic DX shirt as a dress, then yes. That was totally me causing trouble in the corridors.”
Seth peered at you, watching you closely. “How come you didn’t want to get into the business sooner?”
You sighed heavily, shrugging your shoulders, “I don’t know. I guess I just thought it was too much. Too much business. Too much drama. Too many feelings getting hurt, especially when family is involved.” You pointed out to which everyone understood.
“How’d your dad convince you?” He added, knowing it must have not been so easy.
You set your elbow on the table, resting your chin on your first as you stared at him ardently.
“I had a feeling my dad was going to take over the company, and at that time I wasn’t doing a lot, so when he came to me and pitched the idea, I was a teeny bit hesitant, but he promised me I could have all the creative freedom I wanted. So long as I didn’t erase history or disregarded any talent’s input.”
Seth nodded along, listening to you express your relationship with the company and most importantly your dad. It was clear that you had no intentions of getting involved because to be fair you loved what you did on your own, but you took a risk and fell in love with writing storylines that were refreshing for the product and the new era of television they were in.
Many of the superstars, including Seth were thrilled when it was announced that Paul was taking over, but adding you into the mix made everything feel a little different in the best way possible. Usually writers and producers pushed back against their ideas and suggestions, but you exhibited a profound way of keeping and getting them involved in the product behind the scenes in a way that many never got to chance to have.
He knew, just as well as everyone else that you were going to leave your mark. The way you talked about your craft and the sincerity that leaked with every word had him enthralled—that was until Dean broke up the stare he had on you.
“We better cross our fingers we get a script written by you.” Dean raised his glass, breaking the silence.
You blinked slowly, the warmth still lingering in the air between you and Seth as you shifted your eyes to the rest of your friends lifting their glasses to you.
“To the Levesque Era,” Seth declared, following suit and nodding for you to pick up your wine glass.
“And new beginnings,” you continued, your voice soft but sanguine, the rim of your glass clinking with his lightly as you repeated the sentiment with everyone else.
As promised, you and Seth shared a chocolate molten lava cake topped with vanilla bean ice cream. The two of you sliding the plate between each other, sitting back comfortably as you listened to everyone catch you up on what they were up to in their lives outside the company.
Out of the corner of your eye, you spotted the hostess. You smiled at her, straightening up as she approached. Subtly, you handed her your card, and she nodded, promising to be back with the receipt.
As she walked away and you discreetly tucked your wallet back into your purse, Seth leaned in over your shoulder, wondering what you were up to.
“What did you just do?” He asked, his mouth still full, staring at you with a mix of suspicion and amusement.
You looked back at him, slowly relaxing back as you bit your lip and tried to pretend you didn’t hear him the first time.
“What do you mean?” you raised your brow at him.
He swallowed, shaking his head. “Did you just pay? I told you it was on us,” He protested, eyes widening in playful disbelief.
“Oh hey c’mon, that’s cheating.” Roman chimed in, pointing at you.
You held your hands up in defense, a smirk playing on your lips. “No, seriously, it’s on me. You guys invited me out, and it’s the least I could do.”
“Next time we’re baring you from even sticking your hand in your purse,” Renee threatened, sticking her hand out for you to shake on it.
Giggling, you nodded as you clasped her hand. “You have my word.”
You let go, all of you beginning to wrap up and get ready to head out for the night.
Seth, still shaking his head, leaned closer, a mischievous look in his eyes.
“You’re something else, you know that?”
“Just trying to make a good impression.” You argued with a playful shrug.
“Well, you’re definitely succeeding,” he retorted, voice true despite the teasing tone that came along with it.
The night winded down perfectly, zero traffic heading back to the hotel and sleepiness just on the precipice of settling behind your eyes. You, Seth, and Roman said goodnight to three after you and the girls exchanged phone numbers while the men got their bags and suitcases unloaded from the trunks.
“What floor?” Roman ordered, looking over towards you and Seth entering the elevator.
“Six,” you and Seth said in unison, turning to each other with matching looks of surprise and a shared laugh. Roman chuckled as he pressed the buttons for both floors.
The elevator hummed quietly as it ascended, a comfortable silence settling over the three of you after the night of laughter and conversations you had. When it dinged on Roman’s floor, he reached around, pulling you into a small hug.
“Thanks again for dinner.”
“Of course! You have a good night.” You replied warmly, returning the hug and stepping back. Roman and Seth exchanged a firm handshake, a silent nod of understanding between them before Roman exited the elevator.
As the doors closed, and continued its ascension to the sixth floor, Seth turned to you with a gentle smile. “Want me to walk you to your room?”
You nodded without a second thought, feeling a warmth spread through your chest.
“I’d like that.”
The hallway was quiet and shadowy, the carpeted floors muffling your footsteps and rolling of his suitcase as you walked sided by side. Your room was at the end of the corridor, just a few doors away from him. Stopping in front of your door, you searched your bag for the keycard.
“Thanks again for tonight.” He kept his eyes on you, catching the way you looked up past your lashes, and shook your head with a small smile.
“It’s the least I could do, and thank you for making me feel welcomed. It really means a lot to me.” You said, finally fishing the key out of your bag.
“Any chance I can treat you for coffee in the morning?” He proposed politely, wanting to return the gesture.
But you pouted wistfully, shaking your head and feeling genuinely bummed.
“I’ve actually got an early flight. It’s my little sister’s birthday and me and my dad are surprising her.” You apologized, wishing your fight was later in the day.
Seth nodded understandingly, not letting his disappointment show past his smile. “That’s alright. Tell her I said happy birthday.”
You grinned, nodding, “Of course! And I’ll definitely take you up on that coffee date when I get back.” You promised, eyes twinkling with anticipating for it.
“Looking forward to it,” he breathed, his gaze lingering on you as you slid the key into your door, turning the handle.
You gave him one last smile, feeling just a tad reluctant to end the night despite your tiredness.
“Night, Seth.”
“Night sweetheart.” He said quietly, watching as you stepped inside and offered him one last wave before shutting the door.
And so he walked back a few doors down, looking down your way one last time, already hoping for the next time he’d see you again.
One bed || Seth Rollins x Reader
Summary: When the hotel is fully booked, Triple H tells you to room with Seth for the night. This leads to some interesting interactions.
A/N: Incredibly slutty little outfit, love it!
When Triple H informed you that the hotel was fully booked and you'd have to share a room for the night with Seth Rollins, it didn't seem like a big deal. You and Seth were friends, after all, and you'd spent plenty of time together. But when you arrived at the room, you realized there had been a mix-up. It was supposed to be a double room, and it wasn't. You'd have to share the same bed.
It shouldn't have been a problem, but deep down, you had been harboring feelings for Seth for a while now. You kept those emotions carefully concealed, not wanting to jeopardize your friendship or make things awkward. And now, sharing a bed with him, you were terrified you might do something stupid in your sleep.
You spent a restless night, trying to keep to your side of the bed, feeling the tension rise as your bodies unconsciously inched closer throughout the night. The next morning, you awoke to a warm, comforting sensation. You found yourself cuddled up with Seth, his arm draped gently over your waist. Panic surged through you, and you tried to slip out of his embrace, thinking you'd crossed a line.
But Seth wasn't asleep; he'd been awake for a while, contentedly watching you sleep. Your apology and attempt to get out of the bed were met with a gentle yet firm grip on your waist as he pulled you closer to him.
"Don't," Seth said softly, his voice filled with tenderness. "I've been wanting to do that for a long time."
His admission left you breathless. Seth had feelings for you too. You'd been worrying about making things awkward, not realizing that the feelings you'd been concealing were mutual.
With a gentle smile, he pressed a loving kiss to your forehead. The tension that had been building for so long finally dissipated as you both realized that the shared feelings were something beautiful, something worth exploring.
PART 4 (×)
"This is so cool." Tori squealed, as we pulled closer to the stadium where Extreme Rules 2016 was being held. "Like so cool."
I giggled at my best friend's excitement, playfully rolling my eyes as I glanced back at her from the passenger seat. "Calm down."
"Calm down?" Tori repeated, her words in the form of a question instead. "This is our first time seeing wrestling in person and it's at a major pay per view. So no." She added, poking her tongue out at me. "I will not calm down. You should be getting more excited if anything."
My giggling slowly eased as I sighed.
I wish I could be excited.
This is my first, well me and Tori's first pay per view like she said.
And the both of us have been getting more and more into wrestling lately after taking the time to actually admire the craft of wrestling entertainment and all.
But I'm scared.
I'm scared to see Joe after how I basically snapped on him for no reason after breaking up with Austin for good.
And it definitely doesn't help that I hadn't talked to Joe.
I mean, it's not like I called him or anything.
I've actually been too scared to call him, but still.
I'm carrying his baby.
You'd think he would call me or at least text.
Something.
"I'm sure he'll be happy to see you." Tori said bringing me out of my thoughts.
It was almost as if she knew what I was thinking.
"I hope so." I mumbled, as Colby brought his rental car to a stop.
I just...
I really, really like Joe and now that I don't have my ex breathing down my throat, clouding my judgment, I could see us being serious.
Like a real couple.
But of course it's not just up to me.
Joseph still has to forgive me.
As soon as my brother parked and took the key out of the ignition, the three of us were out of the car.
And within minutes we were walking through the arena, surrounded by wrestlers and backstage workers.
A few wrestlers I had quickly become familiar with over the couple months I'd been watching wrestling and a few that I either weren't familiar with or just wasn't a fan of.
"Oh my god." Tori half yelled, half whispered, pulling on my arm, causing me to stop dead in my tracks. "That's The Usos." She gasped out trying to low-key point to Joe's twin cousins without being caught. "I've never been one to go for brothers but those two -"
"Are happily married." Colby said, laughing as he cut my best friend off, earning a scoff from her in return.
"I was joking, idiot." Tori verbally spat at my brother as he again, led up through the crowded hallways eventually coming to a stop when we reached a area with a lot of tvs, more wrestlers and a few backstage workers.
All of whom seemed to be tuned into the current match that was taking place.
Wait.
That's Joe, I mentally confirmed with a smile forming on my face as I watched the father of my unborn baby kick ass inside the ring.
This is so cool, I thought, silently echoing Tori's earlier words.
Ugh.
He looks so good out there in his element.
His hair wet, and falling around his face.
His muscles flexing as he preformed move after move.
That sexy, yet extremely cocky smirk on his face because he knows he's the best and no one else is on his level.
And don't even get me going on his body.
"God, I love that man..." I mumbled to myself.
My eyes getting wide after I realized what I had said.
Did I actually mean that?
Do I love Joseph?
Or was I just getting lost in the moment as I stared at him through the screen infront of me?
"I'll be right back." I heard Colby say, looking from me to Tori as he snapped me back to reality. "Stay right here." He added, before quickly disappearing through the crowd of people moving in both directions.
Shit.
Did he hear that?
I bit down on the inside of my cheek.
It was a habit of mines when I'm nervous.
"I heard that." I heard my best friend whisper in my ear with a giggle as she nudged me with her elbow.
Of course.
If anybody were to catch me slipping it would be Tori.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I shot back, continuing to focus on the screen, rather than the stupid smirk I know Tori was displaying on her face right now.
"Bullshit." Tori giggled even more.
Before I could think of something to say back, the sound of applause was heard through backstage and Tori and I both found ourselves joining in.
Joe had won the match against his opponent and was proudly holding up his titles in both hands, as he stood over his latest victim.
That smirk of his...
No, Y|N, I thought, mentally slapping myself.
You can't spiral again.
"Hold up." Tori spoke up again, probably taking note of my silence. "Why are they booing?"
"Apparently it's what the crowd does for the character he's playing." I answered with a shrug. "Some heel thing, I think." I again spoke up, explaining to her what my brother had told me a few weeks ago when I was curious about the boos that were noticeable louder than the applause.
"Oh, okay."
I nodded, unconsciously placing my hand on my belly to rub circles into it. "I guess Joe will be coming back here in a few." I said, looking over at Tori.
"Yeah." She replied, nodding before looking around. "I wonder where your brother went though."
Yeah...
Where did my brother go?
"He did say he'll be right ba-"
Before I could finish what I was saying, an all to familiar theme, that I had gotten to hear plenty of, over the last month or so, rang throughout the arena.
Gasps being heard from people close by and those that occupied the crowd.
Colby.
My brother, Colby was sprinting towards the ring as Joe stopped his celebration taunting to the audience, to glance over at the entrance, a surprised expression now replacing his previous cocky one as he watched Colby come closer and closer to the ring.
Wait.
When did he have time to change into his wrestling gear?
"Holy shit." Me and Tori said, simultaneously as we continued watching, both our eyes glued to the screen.
Colby finally reached the ring, taking no time to slide inside of it, soon standing eye to eye with Joseph.
The two men exchanged a few words to each other, neither man backing down from the other.
Then in the blink of an eye, my brother had taken control of the moment, grabbing Joe and preforming a pedigree on him.
Why didn't Colby tell us he was going to be back in action tonight?
Or at least me?
I'm his sister for goodness sake.
As the drama continued to unfold out in the ring, Joe's cousins Jimmy, Jey, and Solo Sikoa could be seen coming to the aid of their Tribal Chief as Joe's wise man Paul Heyman stood outside of the ring, a look of disbelief on his face.
And only for what seemed to be two or three seconds, my brother held up both of Joe's titles, dropped them, then disappeared through the crowd, just before the Usos entered the ring tending to Joe.
Barely escaping far into the crowd before Solo could catch him.
This was not how I imagined my first pay per view but I must say, I was not disappointed.
•
Colby was the first to come through the curtain that led back into the backstage area and me and Tori wasted no time fighting for the chance to be the first to congratulate him.
Well more like excitedly question him.
"Why didn't you say your knee was healed enough for you to get back in the ring, Colby?" I asked, throwing my arms around my brother in a hug.
"If I told, it wouldn't be a surprise."
"Well that was a pretty awesome surprise, Colby." Tori said, joining in on the hug.
After a few more seconds, hugging my brother I pulled back, glancing up at him. "So, what..." I stuttered out. "What did you say to Joe out there in the ring. I mean, I couldn't really hear but it looked like it was a heated exchange."
"We were just in character." Colby said nonchalantly, with a shrug. "We weren't being Colby and Joe in the ring we were being Seth and Roman. Don't worry. I told you I was cool with you and him."
I nodded, biting down on my lip.
But you also said you were gonna kick his ass in the ring. I thought remembering my brother's words from a couple weeks ago.
Did he already have his plan in motion that night?
Or is all of this just a coincidence?
And again I'm just over thinking.
Fuck!
I just wish I knew what was sa-
Oh there's my man.
I mean my Joe.
Ugh, there's Joe.
"Hi, Joe." I called out to him, waving my hand like an idiot.
I probably looked like Forest Gump when he was waving down Jenny.
What is wrong with me?
"Hey." Joe replied, as he made his way over. "What are you doing here?" He asked awkwardly as his eyes locked on mines.
His beautiful brown eyes.
"Colby brought us out."
This is awkward.
Like this conversation spells awkward.
But why?
This isn't like us.
Me and Joe were practically strangers and we had a better conversation then, compared to this one.
Is he still mad at me?
"I uhm..." I again found myself stuttering on my words. "I've been texting and I even called a few times but you hav-"
Joe grabbed my hand, pulling me away from my brother, Tori and his cousins who weren't exactly in arms reach, but still close by.
I'm not sure they were close enough to hear but I guess Joe didn't want to take chances.
As me and Joe walked off, I noticed he was lost in conversation with his friend and fellow superstar Bayley.
There was no way he knew Joe had dragged me off.
But Tori had of course.
She stood off to Colby's side, giving me two thumbs up with a huge smile on her face.
But back to my brother...
Why was he seeming off today?
First he was quite the ride here.
Then the surprise attack on Joseph.
It's just, for someone who's supposedly okay with me and one of his best friends, he's hadn't been acting okay.
I don't know, maybe he was just trying to get back into his Seth Rollins mind set.
Cause if he wasn't, he would have brought us out with him.
No matter how much Tori and I had begged.
"Where are we going?" I asked Joe, realizing we'd been walking for what seemed like forever in a five month pregnant woman's mind. "Joe?"
Still, ignoring me, Joe finally came to a stop in an empty room.
A dark empty room.
Why are two of the men that means the most to me being so strange today?
"Sorry about that." Joe said, finally speaking up for the first time since he pulled me away from my best friend and brother. "And I'm sorry I was ignoring you. I was just still pissed from you snapping on me a couple weeks ago." He explained, making me feel guilty all over again.
Joe flicked on the lights and all of a sudden my eyes had to adjust to the brightness, as I slowly looked around, immediately realizing this was the room Joe is sometimes seen in backstage while he's either yelling at his cousins or watching his cousin's on going match.
Well one of them anyways, considering Smackdown isn't filmed at just one arena so there's no way it's just one room.
His private locker room.
Yeah, that's it.
"Can I?" I asked, pointing to one of the chairs, practically power walking to it the second Joe nodded.
"How are you?" Joe asked, sitting down in the empty chair next to mines. "How's the baby?"
"I'm good." I answered, looking down at my belly. "And the baby's good." I said, answering Joe's second question. "He or she actually kicked last night." I giggled, glancing over at Joe.
I felt my lips turn up into a smile as I remembered that amazing feeling of those little kicks.
It even had me questioning if I still wanted to go through with the adoption.
Or if I wanted to keep this baby.
I mean, as much as I hate to admit it because I was so sure of my plan...
I have been getting used to this pregnancy and the idea of having a mini Joe.
Or even a mini me.
"Could I feel?" Joe asked as I quickly nodded.
"Of course." I verbally answered him, watching as he stood from his chair and came over to squat in front of me. "But don't expect to feel anythi-" I stopped talking, as a gasp escaped my lips.
The little kicks were back.
Okay wow.
Scratch that.
That was a big kick.
"That's our baby." Joe gasped, smiling up at me as I smiled down at him. "We made that."
Again I nodded, feeling tears stinging at my eyes.
Yeah we did.
"Either it doesn't want daddy's hand on me or it is excited to finally feel your touch, cause that's the biggest kick I've felt so far." I joked, giggling again while also making Joe laugh.
"I'm gonna take it as it likes my touch." He replied, as he continued rubbing my belly.
I sighed dreamily as I continued to watch Joe. "I love your touch too." I sighed out, my eyes widening for the second time today as I realized I had embarrassed myself yet again.
What is it with me and this man?
At least I didn't make a mistake and admit my love for him again, in front of him this time.
Tori hearing me was enough.
And maybe Colby if he'd heard.
"Please ignore that." I mumbled, feeling heat rise to my cheeks. "I didn't mean for you to hear that."
"I'm happy I did." Joe replied, standing up again and going back to the chair he was previously sitting in. "With how you been acting these few months, I was starting to think I was more into you than you were into me."
I shook my head.
How could he think that, when he looks like he does?
You'd think that man never has to worry about a girl being into him.
And don't even get me started on how great of a personality he has.
Basically Joseph's the whole package.
And more.
"I'm sorry." I finally apologized. "Especially for the way I snapped on you a couple weeks ago. It's just even though I wasn't really into my ex, I still, for some reason was hurt finding out he was still cheating on me and when you asked if I left him for you, it just set me off. And I know you didn't mean it like that, when you asked, I just couldn't help but take it that way." I rambled as Joe quietly listened. "Can we just blame it on the hormones?" I asked, with a playful pout.
"This time." Joe answered.
And for a few minutes everything just seemed right between us again.
Joe and I were laughing.
Catching up on what's been going on in our lives
It was like my last day in Miami again, before I had to say bye to the man I've quickly come to love.
"There's something I've been meaning to ask." I said, still looking over at Joe. "Why didn't you tell me that you had talked to my brother about us..?"
Joe raised an eyebrow at me, giving me a confused look.
Like, a really confused look.
"I don't know what you're talking about, babe."
OMG he called me babe again.
I don't think he's called me babe since Miami or when I last saw him at my house.
It just feels so right hearing him call me th-
Wait.
Did he say he didn't talk to Colby about us?
"The last time you were in Iowa, Joe." I said, nervously. "Colby said you came to see him at Black and Brave and told him about us." I added, hoping to jog his memory.
"Y|N." Joe replied, letting go of my hand that he'd been holding for a while now, using his thumb to stroke small circles onto it, his facial expression showing signs of nervousness also. "I didn't know your brother knew about us, that's why I brought you in here so we could talk. And if he does, he definitely didn't find out from me. I haven't even talked to him since I've been back on the road."
My heart rate began increasing.
And my throat all of a sudden felt dry.
Very dry.
This would explain why Colby had been acting weird since the second Tori and I had asked if we could come to the show with him.
I'm betting he wasn't as okay with me and Joseph like he said he was to me that night.
He probably didn't really want me to come here because he was worried about me seeing Joe but knew it'll be more suspicious to say we could come with him.
Colby had lied.
But why?
And if Joseph didn't tell him...
Who did?
Seth's POV
I open my eyes and squint at the rising sun. It takes me a minute to realise where I am, but when it finally clicks into place, I can't help but grin. I stretch slowly, wincing slightly as I move my knee but there isn't much that can shift the grin from my face. A hand slides down my chest and I look down to see Siobhan's pale fingers splayed against my tanned skin. She wriggles behind me and I can feel her bare breasts press firmly into my back. Placing my hand over hers, I lace our fingers together, slowly drawing her hand up to my mouth. She mumbles softly in her sleep as I kiss the tip of each finger.
Rolling onto my back, I take in the mass of red hair spread across her face and pillow. She lets out a quiet whine at my change in position, her body automatically moving closer as she buries her head between my shoulder and the pillow. Reaching over, I start to push the strands of hair away, letting my fingers work through its length until I can clearly make out her cheek, her lips, her closed eyes. Her nose scrunches up as I press my lips to her forehead.
“Seth...”
“Sorry,” I murmur. “Go back to sleep.”
She groans again, moving onto her back and then rolling to face away from me, the sheets slipping down her body. I tug them slowly back up as I move closer, my arm curling over her waist to pull her back against me. She hums in appreciation, her ass wriggling against me as she gets comfortable. A soft sigh leaves her body as she relaxes into my embrace and I can't help but smile as she does.
I can tell by the change in her breathing that she's drifted back to sleep, but I don't mind. There's been so many times over the last few months where the roles have been reversed, when it was me who's fallen asleep with my head in her lap or woken up in the morning, only to roll back over into her arms and fall back to sleep, exhausted from endless rehab. My progress has been steady, my determination relentless, but it's still going to take time. Frustration doesn't even begin to cover it, but every time I've felt close to breaking, Siobhan has been there. It might just be a squeeze of my hand, a kiss to my cheek, a soft murmuring of 'I love you', but every time it's given me the perspective and strength I need to keep going.
And now I'm determined to show her how much all of that has meant to me. We landed late last night, arriving at the resort a little after midnight. Siobhan's head was already lolling against my shoulder as we checked in and she made a beeline for the bed before the porter had even left the room. The second the door clicked shut behind him, she was stripping, her clothes landing haphazardly on the floor and nearby couch. I soon followed her, but not before I took the opportunity to take in the peace and quiet of our surroundings.
Although advertised as a room, it's only got three walls, the fourth 'open' to give way to a step down to two sun chairs and our own private pool. And beyond that? I couldn't make anything out in the darkness, aside from a faint glimmer of waves in the moonlight. But this morning, with the sun on the rise, I can clearly see the wide expanse of the Caribbean sea in the distance, the view framed by two magnificent green mountain sides. Despite having ogled at the exact same view via the resorts' website, it's still breathtaking to see it in all its glory. I grin to myself – I've been careful to only reveal small details of our trip to Siobhan, initially only telling her to pack for somewhere hot. Only when we landed in Miami to transfer did I reveal the exact location, laughing as her face lit up and she let out a squeal. Landing late meant I could delay the big reveal till this morning and as I feel her move in my arms, her body stretching against mine, I feel nervous excitement zip through me.
I press a kiss to her head, my hand sliding from her stomach up to settle just under her breasts, my fingers gently exploring their soft underside. She squirms, her head rocking forward, allowing me to lower my mouth to the back of her neck.
She lets out a satisfied sigh, her back arching so that her ass presses firmly into my lap. My dick stirs at the contact and I drop my hand to her hip, stilling her movements.
“Spoil sport,” she mumbles.
I chuckle. “All in good time.”
Her head rolls back and she slowly opens her eyes. “What time is it?”
“Early.”
She yawns. “Why is it so bright?”
I grin and nod behind her. “Why don't you take a look?”
She gives me a puzzled look, before she turns away. “Seth...”
My grin widens as I curl my arms tighter around her. “Pretty amazing, huh?”
“Wow...” she exhales. “It's beautiful.”
I nuzzle at her neck. “Just like you.”
She giggles. “You're so corny, Rollins.”
“You love it.”
She rocks her head back against my shoulder. “You already know I do.” She looks up at me. “Thank you.”
I shake my head. “No thanks required. In fact, it's me that should be thanking you.”
“For what?”
“Everything.”
She cups my cheek, her fingers stroking my beard. “You didn't have to take me here to say thanks for that.”
I raise my eyebrow. “I think we both know that's not why we're here.”
Siobhan smiles. “I know. So why dress it up as anything else?”
“Because I still need to thank you for everything you've done for me over the last few months.”
“But you don't need to. I mean, that's what couples do right? Be there for each other through the good and the bad.”
“We've had more bad than good recently,” I murmur.
“I dunno,” she whispers, her hand sneaking around the back of my neck to pull me down to her mouth. “I can think of one or two good times.”
**
“Siobhan...”
“Yes?”
Even though I know the TV is still playing in the background, I can't make out the sounds. All I can hear is the blood pounding in my ears as she holds my gaze, her face impassive as I wet my lips.
“Will...” I swallow, my tongue thick in my mouth. “Would you take me seriously now?”
“Seth-”
I cut her off, reaching for her hand. “If I asked you now, would you take me seriously?”
“Are you asking me now?”
I chuckle in spite of myself. “Not how this works, sweetheart. I believe I'm the one who's supposed to ask the question.”
“Then ask the right one,” she murmurs with a grin, her fingers sliding between mine.
“But are you going to take me seriously?”
She stares at me for a second, her eyes darting between my hand in hers and my face. “Yes.”
My heart starts to thud as I squeeze her hand. “Siobhan–”
But she interrupts me. “I know I said I'm not one for romance–”
“Exactly, so–”
She presses a finger to my lips. “Let me finish. I know I said that, but you also said that you'd thought about this and I don't want you to compromise on any plans you might have had.” Her gaze ducks down and then she looks up at me through thick eyelashes. “This... This is for both of us, right?”
I reach out and tuck my fingers under her chin, lifting her gaze fully. “Don't you think that you've compromised enough for me?”
“I...”
“You gave us a chance for me, you moved across the country for me, you changed your career for me, you–”
“For us,” she says. “I did all of that for us.”
“They're still compromises that you made. What have I done?”
“So much,” she murmurs. “You forgive me when I fuck up. You keep me sane when work gets too much. You... You love me.”
“I love you, you love me; that's how it works, sweetheart,” I say with a smile, reaching for her other hand. She clutches at it, her eyes flickering between my face and our hands joined in front of us.
“But still, you don't have to do this now.”
“I want to.”
“Seth–”
“Siobhan,” I swallow, my hands gripping hers even tighter as I feel a tremor of nerves rip through me. I clear my throat with a chuckle. “Y'know, I had this whole speech planned. I was gonna fill the apartment with candles before you got home from a trip, wear a suit and get down one knee. And yet, here we are in some crappy hotel room, I'm in sweats and there ain't a chance in hell that I can get down on either knee right now.”
Siobhan giggles, her eyes starting to shine.
“I was gonna tell you how fucking lucky I am to share my life with you, sweetheart. I had this whole thing about that night in Vegas,” I shake my head. “It was so corny... You'd have loved it.”
She squeezes my hand softly. “Tell me.”
“When we were playing roulette and I tried to get you to quit just before you got that big win. You told me that didn't sound like much fun. And I said it was the sensible thing to do. 'Screw sensible', you said,” I smile. “You teased me about that night we first met you and Lex. You asked me if I was quitting whilst I was ahead when I backed off and left you both to it. Thing is, I did quit whilst I was ahead back then. And I've regretted it ever since. I've regretted it because I missed out on a few more years with the most incredible, caring, sexy, loving girl. I'm not going to let that happen again, Siobhan. When it comes to you, I'm never quitting. Not now, not ever.”
“I regretted it too.”
I stare at her. “Sweetheart–”
“I regretted leaving that bar when I did. I regret telling you that I didn't want anything more than one night in Vegas. I regret...” She closes her eyes and exhales. “I regret every single time I stopped myself from calling you that year.”
Letting go of her hand, I reach up and cup her cheek. “Hey, it's okay. We got there in the end, right?”
Her eyes open and my heart threatens to break when I see the unspilt tears. “Go on,” she murmurs with a smile. “You make your big speech, make me cry and then...”
I smile back, my grin widening. “I was gonna get down on one knee, offer you the ring and tell you that this time, I'm all in.”
“Yes.”
I chuckle. “I still haven't asked.”
“I don't care. Yes.” She leans forward, her hands cupping my face. “I'm all in too, Seth.”
Her mouth is soft, tender. My hands slide down her back, gripping her hips as I ease her closer, pulling her onto my lap. She whines into the kiss, almost pulling back to protest, but I refuse to let go. Her legs slide around my waist as I cup the back of her head, my fingers twisting through her long hair, anchoring her to me. I can feel dampness on my cheeks and as I pull back for a quick breath, I realise the unspilt tears are starting to make their escape. I press my lips to her cheeks, kissing them away as she murmurs softly to me.
“Yes, Seth... Yes.”
**
Siobhan is outstretched on one of the sun chairs when I return from the gym. She glances over her shoulder, pushing her sunglasses up onto her head.
“Perfect timing,” she grins, waving the bottle of sun lotion at me. “How was it?”
I shrug. “Gets better every time.” I peel off my sweat-ridden shirt and drop it next to the bed. “How about you join me in the shower? I'll wash your back and slather on lotion for you.”
She giggles. “It's a tempting offer.”
“And yet you're not rushing towards the bathroom...” I tap my chin in mock-thought. “What can I possibly do to sweeten the deal?”
“Have you seen the shower?”
“What do you mean?”
She raises an eyebrow. “It's got three massive windows on one side.”
I laugh as I close the gap between us. “Privacy wasn't exactly your concern earlier this morning.”
Her cheeks redden. “That was different.”
“How so?” I ask as I run my hands across her bare shoulders.
She gestures at the view before us. “No-one's gonna be peeking in on us from out there.”
“I dunno, I hear those paparazzi lenses are pretty good at picking up long-range shots,” I grin as she swats at me.
“Not helping!”
“Sweetheart, there is no denying that this morning you were quite the exhibitionist. Nothing to be ashamed of. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Watching your ass bounce on my dick...” My fingers pluck at the string-tie of her bikini. “And then when you leant forward... Fuck...” I exhale slowly, my hands sliding over her chest as I push away her bikini top.
She mewls softly at my touch, her back arching as my fingers tweak at her nipples. “I figured,” she manages to gasp. “I figured that it was the best way for us to both enjoy the view.”
“And what a view it was...” I murmur. It's true. Watching the sun rise whilst Siobhan fucked herself on my dick, her pale skin glowing in the soft orange and yellow is definitely something I'd like to repeat every day for the rest of time. “So tell me again how that differs from us taking a shower together?”
“Because showers with you are never sweet and innocent.”
“I don't ever hear you complaining.”
“Usually our showers take place in an enclosed space. With no windows.”
“Well then,” I reach for her hand and slowly pull her off the chair. “We'll just have to be discreet.”
**
My phone beeps in my pocket and I draw it out with a shaky hand.
I think I'm actually going to be late. xx
I chuckle and then curse my own nerves as I tap out a reply that's littered with errors on the first and second attempt thanks to my trembling fingers.
It's okay. They're running late here too. xx
Siobhan replies seconds later with a smiley face and I swallow hard as I feel my heart lurch in my chest, the beats so loud, so fast that I struggle to focus on anything but it. I run a hand over my head, my fingers twisting into the knot at the back of my neck. Sliding my phone back into my pocket, I start to untie and retie the hairband, repeatedly scraping back the hair until I'm satisfied with the results.
My phone beeps again.
Just pulling up outside. xx
I'm about to reply when a voice calls out my name.
“Mr Rollins?”
I glance up and see a lady at the far end of the hall with a clipboard. Standing, I make my way down towards her.
“Mr Rollins,” she says with a smile. “If you'd like to come–” She pauses. “You're alone?”
I smile apologetically. “She just text to say she's outside. Is it possible to wait a minute?”
She glances at her watch and then at the clipboard.
“Please?” I beg, watching her intently as she sighs.
“Seth!”
I turn around and my breath catches in my throat.
Siobhan smiles shyly at me, one hand nervously smoothing her dress whilst the other fumbles with her coat and purse. Her red hair is pulled into loose braid that hangs over her shoulder, its redness in stark contrast to the white lace of her dress. The hem bounces against her thighs as she walks slowly towards us, my eyes dropping to take in the length of her legs.
“Sorry I'm late,” she says to Clipboard Lady, who shrugs in response.
“You're here now. If you'd both like to follow me.”
Siobhan's hand slips into mine as she passes me. Glancing over her shoulder, she throws me a cheeky grin. “You coming?”
I nod dumbly, my eyes raking over back, the lace delicately kissing her shoulders, falling away to nothing before cinching in her waist.
“You look beautiful,” I murmur as we head through one door and then another.
“I thought I'd go all in,” she replies. “I only plan to do this once.”
“I should hope so,” I chuckle. “I'm glad you did though. I was worried I might look a bit ridiculous.”
We pause in small ante-room, Clipboard Lady announcing she'll be back for us in a few minutes. Siobhan turns to face me, her eyes casting over my choice of clothes.
“You look very handsome.”
Pride swells through me as she reaches up to straighten my tie, her fingers brushing lightly over my beard as she reaches up to offer me a chaste kiss. My hands glide up her arms as she pulls back, her gaze rising to meet mine.
“Are you sure about this?” I ask. “We don't have to–”
“I don't want to wait.”
“What about your family, your friends?”
“No fuss,” she says firmly, her fingers brushing across my temple. “Unless you want–”
“No,” I rush to put her mind at ease. “Just us.”
She smiles as my arms circle her. “As long as you're–”
I silence her with a kiss. “I couldn't have imagined this any other way, sweetheart,” I murmur against her lips.
“Me neither,” she replies.
There's gentle cough behind us and I turn my head to see Clipboard Lady standing in the doorway. “If you'd like to come through...”
I turn back to Siobhan. “Ready?”
“Ready.”
**
My fingers brush against the thin strip of bare skin between Siobhan's skin-tight shirt and her skirt. Despite the fact that we've spent most of our first day in various states of undress, seeing her dolled up still takes my breath away. Her long hair is slung over one shoulder, her white shirt clinging to her upper body, highlighting the soft freckles that are already starting to appear on her arms from the sun, her black skirt hugs her waist, her hips, her ass, only stopping after the knee to reveal the rest of her legs, which are endless thanks to her skyscraper heels.
“Drink first?” she asks me as we approach the main resort area, her hand slipping into mine and already tugging me towards the bar.
“Are you trying to delay the inevitable?”
She casts me a curious look over her shoulder as we enter the bar and start to wind our way through the tables. “The inevitable?”
My hands fall to grip at her hips as we reach the bar and wait to be served. “You know damn well what I'm referring to,” I murmur as she reaches for the drinks menu.
“I assume if you had it your way, we'd never leave the room,” she comments as she flicks through the list of cocktails.
“Damn straight.”
“I'd be handcuffed to the bed naked, right?”
I chuckle. “Now there's an idea.”
“Behave, Mr Rollins.”
I'm about to reply when the barman interrupts to take our order. As he starts to make our drinks, Siobhan turns to face me, leaning back against the bar. My hands still grip her hips, my tongue absentmindedly wetting my lips as I feel her gaze rake up my chest. Her hand slips over mine, her fingers lightly scratching my skin as she works her way up my bare forearm, pausing to fiddle with the rolled up cuffs of my dress shirt before moving higher to fumble with collar.
“See something you like?” I smirk as her fingers slip inside my collar to rub at the back of my neck.
“Perhaps,” she replies nonchalantly, but there's a gleam in her eye that I've seen countless times before.
I lift a hand from her hips to nudge my glasses up the bridge of my nose. “Rude to stare though.”
“I wasn't staring,” she retorts. “Just...” she pauses with a grin. “Just admiring the view.”
“Likewise.” I gently ease a strand of hair behind her ear.
“Don't,” she murmurs.
“Don't what?” My finger runs down the column of her throat, my smirk growing as I feel her shiver.
“I...” Her tongue darts out to wet her lips. “I won't last through one drink if you keep looking at me like that.”
“Like what?”
“Like you're seconds away from fucking me on this bar.”
“You say that like it's a bad thing.”
She pouts, her eyes narrowing slightly. “Privacy, Rollins.”
“You proved earlier that it wasn't that much of a concern.”
Her cheeks redden, her gaze dropping away. It didn't take much to finally convince her to join me in the shower, even less when I gently backed her up against the wall, one hand already curling her leg around my waist. Her hands gripped my shoulders as I eased myself inside her, our pace slow as we struggled to keep our balance. My mouth was on her neck as we pushed and pulled at each other, until her nails clawed at my back and her teeth sank into my shoulder to stop herself from screaming.
“Anyway,” I murmur, my fingers tucking under her chin to lift her head back up. “You think anyone else here cares? Looks to me like everyone else is wrapped up in their own little worlds.”
Her eyes dart around the bar, taking in the handful of other couples all of whom seemingly have only eyes for each other. A small smile tugs at her lips and I feel her arms slide around my waist.
“Thank you,” she whispers as the barman carefully places our drinks on the bar, along with the check.
“We went over this,” I remind her as I charge the drinks to our room and then pass Siobhan's drink to her. “No thanks required.”
“We didn't have to come here.”
I shake my head. “Yes, we did. Just because everything else was low-key, doesn't mean that this has to be as well.”
“Low-key is a bit of an understatement,” Siobhan winks over the rim of her glass.
“No regrets though?” I ask hesitantly. I was surprised when she first suggested it, her voice as hesitant as mine is now. But all I wanted was for her to be happy. And if keeping it low-key, even if that is understatement, was what would make her happy, then I was right there with her.
“Definitely not,” she smiles up at me. “It was perfect.”
**
“Do you have two witnesses?” Clipboard Lady asks.
Siobhan looks at me. “We thought we might ask the couple before us.”
Clipboard Lady just nods, as if this happens all the time. “Well, they're just finishing up.”
The door behind her opens and an elderly couple emerges, arms linked. Behind them are a handful of guests and I watch as Siobhan's face breaks into a heartwarming smile as she eyes them up.
“Congratulations” she starts, stepping forward, my hand still firmly in hers. “I'm so sorry to ask as I know that you've just had your own ceremony, but would you mind being witnesses for ours?”
“Don't you have any guests of your own, dear?” the elderly woman asks, peering behind us.
“No,” Siobhan squeezes my hand. “We're just keeping this to ourselves for now.”
There's a short pause, murmurings from their guests. “Well, in that case,” the woman beams. “We'd be delighted.”
“Thank you,” I say, offering my hand to both of them. “We really appreciate it.”
Their guests shuffle out of the way so we can enter the small ceremony room. The judge stands at the far end, talking to the Clipboard Lady but he smiles warmly as we approach.
“Ah, Harold and Joy, we meet again,” he says when he spots the elderly couple behind us. He peers down at the marriage licence in his hands. “And you must be Siobhan and Seth. Pleased to meet you. My name's Jack and I'll be presiding over today's proceedings.”
He asks us to stand in front of the simple lectern, with Harold and Joy standing off to one side. Clipboard Lady offers to take Siobhan's coat and purse, placing them on a chair at the edge of the room. I watch as Siobhan's hands twist nervously in front of her, her eyes darting around the room before settling back on me.
“You okay?” I murmur.
She smiles. “Never better.”
Reaching out, I slip my hand over hers and tug her a little closer. “I love you.”
“Love you too,” she whispers.
“Right, so do you have any rings?” Jack looks up from the lectern.
“No, we've decided not to have any,” I tell him, one eye on Siobhan who grins back at me.
He nods. “Not a problem. Any vows of your own?”
Siobhan shakes her head. “No, we'd just like to keep it simple.”
“Of course,” Jack smiles. “Well, let's get started shall we?”
Shuffling his papers, he clears his throat and starts to talk. I'm desperately trying to pay attention, but it's hard when Siobhan is holding my gaze, her eyes entrancing as her thumb slowly rubs across my knuckles. When the judge murmurs our names, her head twists towards him, loosening a strand of hair from her braid and I automatically reach out to push it back into place. She glances at me with a smile before her eyes flicker towards the jude, urging me to do the same.
“Right, so Seth, repeat after me.”
My tongue feels thick and heavy, the words almost alien as he reads them out and pauses for me to repeat. Siobhan's eyes are locked with mine yet again, the edges of them starting to shine as she squeezes my hand tightly.
“And now Siobhan...”
“Seth Rollins,” her voice is shaky. “I take you to be my lawfully wedded husband.... Before these witnesses...” she exhales, her voice starting to crack. “I vow to love you.... And care for you... As long as we both shall live.”
Tears start to spill down her cheeks and I'm quick to brush them away, stepping closer and pulling her into my arms. There's a soft tap on my arm and I glance over my shoulder to see Joy offering me a bunch of tissues. I take them with a murmur of thanks, offering them to Siobhan who accepts them with a sniff and a small smile.
Jack clears his throat. “As there are no rings to exchange, the only thing left to say is that I now pronounce you husband and wife.”
Harold and Joy promptly burst into clapping, as does the Jack. “And you may now kiss your bride,” he smiles at me.
My hand slides around the back of Siobhan's neck, pulling her ever closer. Brushing my fingers across her cheeks, I lean forward and press my lips gently against hers. Her hand, still clutching at the tissues, falls against my chest, her fingers scratching at my shirt as her arm circles my shoulders, holding me to her as she deepens the kiss. It feels wonderfully strange, holding her in my arms having just promised to spend the rest of my life with her. Any nerves that I felt in the minutes leading up to this moment have promptly vanished, leaving with nothing other than pure, unadulterated happiness.
Siobhan pulls away from me, her lips plump and perfect, her giggle vibrating through me as I lean forward and exchange another kiss, albeit a slight more chaste affair than before. Her thumb brushes over my lips with a soft murmur of 'lipstick', and it takes all my strength not to kiss her, my wife, again and again.
Siobhan's POV
I shriek as Seth tugs at my legs, his grip on my ankles firm as he tries to pull me from the swing seat that hangs above our private pool. I slip from the seat, landing with a splash in the water and rise, spluttering and cursing him.
“What?” he stares at me innocently, his hair slicked back, his skin enviously dark in comparison to mine which remains pale with hundreds more freckles. I had joked the night before that my body was starting to resemble a dot-to-dot. It wasn't long before I found myself sprawled face down on the bed, whilst Seth carefully ran his finger from freckle to freckle, followed my his lips and tongue until I was begging him to... Well, to do anything to satisfy the heat gathering between my legs.
“I know your game,” I tell him with a mocking glare. “You just wanna get me in here so that I'll ask you to rub sun lotion on me again in a few minutes time.”
“I'm hurt that you think I would have such an obvious ulterior motive,” he grins, swimming closer, his fingers brushing over my hips under the water. “Interesting how the roles have reversed though. Once upon a time, it was you trying to convince me to get into the water.”
“I fully blame that on the Vegas,” I murmur as he pushes my wet hair away from my neck.
“Sure,” he nods, lifting me effortlessly so that I'm forced to wrap my legs snugly around his waist. “Nothing to do with the fact that you wanted this dick.”
His hips roll against mine and I can feel the outline of his semi-hard length press against my inner thigh.
“Mighty full of yourself today,” I observe, but my legs are automatically gripping his waist a little tighter as he navigates us towards the edge of the pool.
“I have good reason,” he replies as he nuzzles my cheek, his mouth so close to mine.
“Yeah?”
His fingers dance over my back, tugging at my bikini tie and I familiar warmth floods through me. “Well, I'm one lucky man,” he murmurs against my mouth. “And lucky men know not waste a good thing when they have it. And I'll be damned if I waste time sunbathing and swimming when I got my beautiful wife just lounging around in teeny-tiny bikinis.”
My heart pounds, just like it did when we exchanged vows, when the judge announced us husband and wife, when Seth kissed me, when we left the courthouse, heading across the city to firmly cement our marriage, my dress shielded underneath my coat so that no-one would suspect a thing.
“That a good enough reason for you, Mrs Rollins?”
**
The street is quiet when we pull up outside. Seth cuts the engine and we sit for a few moments listening to it die into nothing.
“You sure about this?” he asks, reaching over to run a thumb over my hand.
“Positive,” I say, watching his large hand cover my smaller one. “Are you? I mean, maybe this was a bit of a crazy idea.”
He shakes his head. “We need something, even if it's just for the two of us.”
“Are you sure he won't spill the beans?” I eye up the shop front.
He chuckles. “He said it would only be him tonight, no-one else. And he's not one to chat shit about his customers.”
I chew my lip. “Do you think I'm silly for want to keep this all to ourselves?”
Seth's face softens. He knows why I'm asking this now, he knows why I didn't want to splash the news around, even to friends and family. It might have been years since our first outing together, but it doesn't make it any easier when it comes to his fan base. There's still a hardcore group who still have be down as public enemy number one and I have done my best to stop adding fuel to their fire. But no matter how private we attempt to be, the hatred is still there.
He did his best to convince me otherwise, to screw the haters, to give them a big fuck you with a full-out white wedding. But when I confessed that I never wanted a big wedding anyway, he let the idea go and told me that he'd do whatever I wanted. We debated long and hard over telling our families as a bare minimum, but I knew my own parents would never agree to keeping it quiet from my countless aunts and uncles and various family friends. So we kept it quiet from everyone, heading down to the courthouse a few days after when we arrived back in Iowa to get the licence arranged. And then we waited.
Waited until Seth was without crutches, without a constant brace supporting his knee. We waited until he could walk with only the slightest of limp before we headed to the courthouse earlier today.
“It's not silly,” he tells me gently. “If today is what makes you happy, then who gives a crap what anyone else thinks? I certainly don't. All I care about is that we're married. Nothing would have changed the way I feel right now, sweetheart.” He pauses, leaning over the console to cup the back of my neck. “I'm over the fucking moon, Siobhan. And that's down to you and what this means, not where it took place or how many people know.”
I blink, fighting back the tears that threaten to spill for the second time in the matter of hours. “Are you determined to make me a sobbing wreck, Rollins?” I try to smile, but my chin is starting to wobble.
He presses his forehead against mine, his warm breath floating across my cheek as he chuckles. “No, but it doesn't seem to be that difficult.” I swat at him playfully and he catches my hand in his, drawing it up to press a kiss to each knuckle.
“We should go in,” I say as I watch him, his eyes flickering shut when he reaches my ring finger. “You said he stayed open late just for us, so we shouldn't keep him waiting.”
Seth nods, drawing back to grab the keys from the ignition as I check my purse. But before I can even open my own door, he's there, opening it for me, offering me his hand.
“How long is this gentleman act going to last?” I muse as he tucks his arm around me and we head towards the door.
“I've always been a gentleman,” he smirks, opening the door and standing back. “Ladies first.”
I stick my tongue out as I pass him, a warm glow flooding through me as I feel his hand on my lower back, his solid frame close behind me.
“Hey, man,” he calls out as we enter and I see a tall figure emerge from a closet behind the counter.
“Seth, good to see you, bro.”
I watch as Seth and the guy exchange a brief hug, the former immediately returning to my side and reaching once again for my hand before introducing us.
“Siobhan, this is Kevin. Kevin, Siobhan.”
“Good to meet you,” Kevin grins. “And congratulations.”
“Thanks,” I smile.
“So, do you want to get started? You guys already know what you're having, right? And where?” He moves away to the back room, beckoning for us to follow.
“Yeah, exactly what we spoke about the other day,” Seth confirms.
“No problem. Well, I just need you guys to sign a few forms and then we are good to go,” he looks up. “Who's going first?”
“Ladies first,” Seth says with a wink at me and I scowl.
“Oh, I see, you're going to play the gentleman card again?”
“Only because I know if you watch me go first, you'll chicken out.”
“I'm not going to chicken out!”
“Then ladies first,” Seth grins. “And anyway, this was your idea.”
I grumble under my breath, but he's right. It, like everything else, was my idea. Rings can be lost; my own mother lost her wedding ring a few years ago and has never forgiven herself since. Rings can be noticed, an obvious symbol to anyone at work, in the locker-room, to the fans that gather outside the arenas every night to watch Seth and the others arrive. Straight after he proposed, I told him I didn't even want an engagement ring, that he should spend the money on something else rather than something I wouldn't end up wearing.
But a tattoo? Something small on the side of our ring fingers? Less visible, more private, more personal to the both of us. We'd mulled over many a design over the last few weeks, eventually deciding on the most simple of the lot. And then on the way to meet me at the courthouse to pick up the marriage licence, Seth made a detour to book the appointment for this evening.
Removing my coat, I sling it over a nearby chair and then take a seat next Kevin. Seth moves another chair closer to sit on my other side. His hand brushes against my knee, moving to my thigh where he squeezes reassuringly as Kevin offers me a form to sign before he starts to clean the small area on the inside of my left ring finger.
“You okay?” Kevin asks as he presses the small outline onto my skin. “It'll be five minutes max.”
“I'm good.”
Seth chuckles. “You've gone whiter than your dress.”
I throw him a dirty look, but my resolve quickly crumbles as I hear the familiar buzz of the machine start up. My head rocks onto his shoulder, my eyes closing as I feel Kevin's hand grip my finger firmly. Seth's hand moves to the back of my head, tucking my face closer to his neck where I breathe deeply, letting the smell of his cologne cloud my mind from the sharp pain.
“Almost there,” he murmurs softly as I feel Kevin wipe at the nearly complete tattoo, the machine still buzzing away. “It looks really good, sweetheart.”
I can feel him swallow thickly and I lift my head up slightly. His eyes are fixated on Kevin and my hand, his eyes dark and unreadable, but there's nothing he can do to hide the shaky breath, the small tremor in his chin as his gaze falls to my face.
“Better than any ring,” he murmurs as Kevin declares he's finished. When I turn to inspect the small piece of work, I can only nod in agreement.
**
I slide my hand over Seth's, plucking lazily at his ring finger. He murmurs something I don't quite catch, his body warm and comforting behind me as we lounge on the swing seat and watch the sun set. I trace the outline of the tattoo over and over again, following the never-ending line that forms the infinity symbol. I spent most of the flight down here doing the exact same action to both his and mine, still trying to comprehend the milestone we'd just achieved together.
Seth was right when he said it was better than any ring. Some people might tut and shake their head, calling us naïve to get such a tattoo as a sign of our marriage, but I would wholeheartedly disagree. The proposal, the wedding itself, the tattoo, none of those things were taken lightheartedly. I wouldn't have agreed to any of this if it felt temporary. For me, for us, this is permanent and the tattoo is just a small symbol of that dedication.
“What time do you want to go for dinner?” Seth murmurs, his fingers interlacing with mine.
I shrug. “I don't mind.”
“Or we could order room service...” he trails off, his fingers fluttering up my arm. “Eat over there, drink wine... And then you can ride me on the steps of the pool again...”
“And accidentally elbow your injured knee...” I add with a grin over my shoulder. “I still can't believe that's the first time that's happened.”
Seth laughs and I'm relieved, just as I was earlier when it first happened when he winced in pain and then burst out laughing at my mortified expression. “I figured if I didn't make light of the situation, you'd quit sex with me all together until I'm fully functional.”
Now it's my turn to laugh. “Not a chance. Those first few weeks were hell.”
“Tell me about it,” he rumbles, his hand sliding over my stomach and instantly transporting me back to those few times in the hotel room where we managed to find the energy and time to get each other off, his fingers on my clit whilst I fisted his length, breathing heavily against each others cheeks in between hot, chaste kisses. Or when we upgraded to me lying gingerly on top of him, my right hand fisted into a ball to stop myself from gripping his injured leg as I took him in my mouth and he ate me out until I screamed.
And even though now we can do so much more, I miss feeling his weight on top of me, whether I'm on my back or my front. I miss the way he can so easily manipulate my body, twisting me into all manner of positions whilst I fight to keep my mind straight from the beautiful torture he unleashes on my senses. Not that I don't enjoy slowly teasing him, twisting my hips one way and then the other until he grips my hips and steers me in a direction that he knows will get me off as well as him. I like the way he gazes up at me, the way his fingers tease my breasts, my clit. Or the way he suddenly sits up and pulls my legs behind him so he can move me up and down his length. But it's not the same and I'm dying for the moment that he can let go and fuck me the way that he wants to.
Seth's fingers are sliding between my legs, teasing the sensitive skin on my inner thighs as I slowly arch against him. I can feel him smiling against my neck, his kisses soft as he nudges my head around so he can claim my mouth. His fingers continue to explore, steadily circling my clit until I whine and he gives me what I need.
“Siobhan,” he breathes against my lips as I claw at his wrist.
“Please... Seth...”
He smiles, slowly easing his body out from behind me and lowering himself into the water. I watch through hazy eyes as he plucks at the ties of my bikini, gently removing the item and tossing it over his shoulder. His head rocks to the side, his eyes dark and hungry as he pushes my thighs further apart and gently pulls me forward until I'm balanced on the edge of the swing seat. My head rocks back as he presses a kiss to my inner thigh, my hand dropped to clutch at his damp hair.
**
I kick off my heels and head for the bathroom, calling out to Seth to get me a glass of water along with his own. I start to pick at the small elastic band that's been doing it's best to keep my braid together for the past few hours. As I watch my reflection in the mirror, I can't help but smile as my new tattoo winks at me behind its clear protective film. My stomach flips as I take in, not for the first time, the magnitude of today. Despite my nerves, my last minute doubts that this was the right thing to do, I couldn't imagine it happening any other way. I seem to have had a permanent smile attached to my face ever since I woke up this morning and even now, as I stand alone in the bathroom, it's yet to disappear. I grin at my reflection, my fingers working their way through the thick strands of the braid, loosening them bit by bit.
“Siobhan?”
I smile at Seth leaning in the doorway. “I won't be long,” I promise.
He pushes off the doorframe and steps towards me. “Come here,” he says softly, his hand reaching out.
I give him a puzzled look. “What for?”
“Just come,” he nods his head towards the door. “I want to show you something.”
I pause, my braid half un-done. “Can it wait until I finish this?”
He smiles. “Not really.”
My curiosity piqued, I take his offered hand and let him guide me back into the bedroom and then out into the hallway.
“Close your eyes,” he whispers, stepping behind me as he places a hand over my face. “No peeking.”
He guides me down the hallway, our breathing the only sound as I reach out tentatively in front of me.
“Okay, stop here.” A hand on my hip stills my movements. “Keep your eyes closed.”
The warmth from his body moves away and I'm left in the darkness, my ears trying to pick up every sound. I gasp when I feel his breath on my forehead, my cheeks flushing as he laughs softly.
“Open your eyes,” he murmurs.
I open them slowly and then they automatically widen as I take in the clusters of candles that adorn the dining table, the coffee table, the TV stand. My eyes flicker to the speakers as strings start to play.
“Seth...”
“I figured we should at least have a first dance,” he smiles shyly, his hand extending to mine. I take it, my mouth opening but he cuts me off with a shake of the head. “Just enjoy.”
My head rocks against his chest, my lack of heels emphasising the height difference between us. His arms circle my waist, whilst my hands settle on his biceps, giggling quietly as I feel him involuntarily flex.
I, I wish I could swim Like dolphins, like dolphins can swim Though nothing will keep us together We can beat them, forever and ever
The warm voice spreads through the apartment as we slowly turn. I can feel my eyes start to sting and I squeeze them shut, desperate to keep it together unlike the many other times today. But my emotions are spiralling out of control and it's all I can do to tighten my grip on Seth's suit jacket to keep myself from falling. His arms tighten around my waist, his head twisting to kiss my forehead.
Oh, we can be heroes just for one day Oh, we can be heroes just for one day
One hand slips to my chin, lifting my head up and he smiles down at me as the next verse begins and starts to murmur along with the words.
I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing will drive us away Oh, we can be heroes just for one day Oh we can be us just for one day
The song starts to build as Seth's head dips further down, his lips brushing over mine. I cling to him, never wanting to let go as he kisses me softly at first then harder, his hands sliding up my back, his hand fisting my hair. It's fiery, passionate and we stumble slightly as he pulls back for breath before his mouth crashes against mine once again.
I, I can remember Standing, standing by the wall And the guns, shot above our heads And we kissed, as though nothing could fall
My fingers claw at his tie, tugging it loose so I can pluck loose the buttons of his dress shirt, determined to feel his hot skin. One of his hands slips down my back, groping at my ass before fumbling with the zipper of my dress. He eases me back, firmly, carefully as I abandon his shirt and tug at his belt instead.
And the shame, the shame was on the other side Oh, we can beat them, forever and ever Then we could be heroes just for one day
The song starts to fade, leaving us with just a soundtrack of zippers and buttons and heavy breathing. My back hits the wall with force, Seth's mouth dropping to my neck as he tugs my dress from my shoulders with one hand, the other slipping underneath to pull desperately at my panties. My hand is inside his pants, his dick hot and hard in my fist and I whimper as I feel his fingers drift across my entrance.
“Need you,” I pant, as if it wasn't clear enough and he grunts in agreement, He pushes me higher on the wall and I'm about to cry out in protest but his mouth closes around my breast just as his finger starts to tease my clit and all coherent thought of what's sensible and practical leaves my mind.
He moans around my breast as I stroke his dick, his finger slow and lethargic in its teasing. My head rocks back against the wall, my body arching as his teeth scrape against my nipple. I use my free hand to grip the back of his head, pulling him back to my mouth, before I scramble to push his pants south. With his mouth still firmly on mine he sheds his jacket, his shirt catching on his elbows. He briefly fights with it but gives up with a growl, his hands dropping to my ass where he lifts me effortlessly.
“Seth...”
“Need you,” he moans against my lips, echoing my earlier sentiment.
“Your knee...”
“Fuck my knee.”
I giggle in spite of myself, the sound turning into a soft mewl as I feel his length slide across my slit. He groans into my mouth as he pushes into me, his fingers digging into my ass cheeks as he holds me up. My legs are already starting to burn, but I don't care. Not when his head is dropping to my shoulder, his breathing hard and heavy as he twitches inside me.
I stroke the back of his head, murmuring softly to him as he steadies himself. Slowly, his hips start to rock against mine and a smile spreads across my face as I feel his lips on my neck.
“Shit,” he grunts, his head rising. Small beads of sweat adorn his forehead, his hair starting to frizz as he picks up the speed, his hips slamming against mine. He lifts me a little higher, my hands gripping his shoulders for support as he nuzzles at my breast once again, his teeth nipping at the sensitive flesh and causing me to cry out.
“Seth..”
His hand slips on my ass and I fight to lower my legs as I watch a painful grimace flash across his face.
“Seth, stop...” I cup his face, making him hold my gaze. “Stop... It's okay.”
He groans in frustration, his hips slowly grinding to halt before he lowers me to the floor.
“Sorry,” he mumbles, a hand scraping over his face. “Fuck.”
“I didn't mean stop completely,” I press a kiss to his chest. “Just don't hurt yourself.”
His fist twists in my hair as he tugs me back to his mouth and away from the wall. “The couch,” he growls and the heat flares in the pit of my stomach. He twists me in his arms, gently pushing me towards it, his hands on my hips, his dick pressed against my lower back.
I almost stumble in my eagerness, falling forward against the cushions before scrambling to clutch its high back, looking over my shoulder to see Seth reaching out to grope my ass. He slaps it gently but firmly, squeezing it until I squirm and let out a moan. Bending his good knee, he balances on the edge of the couch, tugging my hips back towards him.
The angle feels strange at first, what with his injured knee forcing to keep one foot firmly on the floor, but then the tip of his dick brushes against my g-spot and I let out a shout that spurs him on. His fingers dig into my hips, my ass, the couch squeaking under the strain as he slams into me over and over again.
My head drops forward, my eyes squeezing shut as I feel my body slowly start to shut down, my extremities going numb until all I can focus on is...
His finger tentatively brushes over my clit.
His mouth gently kisses up my spine.
His hand finds mine, our fingers lacing together as I force my head up, gasping for air, my eyes snapping open.
The infinity symbol on Seth's finger winks up at me as his name slips from my lips, my body shaking uncontrollably as he slams into me with a final growl of my own name.
He slumps over me, breathing heavily as I fight to catch my own breath. And then he's pulling me upright, sliding my arm around his shoulder, hoisting an arm under my legs and lifting me.
He kisses my forehead as he carries me towards the bedroom, my arms looping around his head, a satisfied smile playing on my lips.
“Happy?” he murmurs as he lowers me onto the bed.
I nod. “You?”
“Do you have to ask?” he grins.
“You asked me,” I tease back.
“Of course I'm happy,” he whispers as he kisses me again. “I've got you, Mrs Rollins. Forever and ever.”
**
Seth's chin rests on my shoulder as we head back into the harbour. There are a handful of other couples milling around on the deck, a few, like us, still watching the dying sun over the Caribbean sea. The ice in my glass clinks gently as the boat rocks slightly and I curl my arm over Seth's, tucking his tighter around me.
The last seven days have passed in a blur of sunbathing, swimming, exploring and love-making. With no wall to shield us from the rising sun, we've also risen early, allowing Seth to spend a couple of hours in the gym to keep up his rehab before breakfast arrives and we start to make plans for the rest of our day. We've strolled along the beach, taken a trip to the local town to wander around the markets, tested all the cocktails on the bar menu before taking full advantage of every surface in the hotel room.
Seth's fingers brush down my bare back, discreetly dipping beneath the material that skims my sides. I shiver, causing him to laugh quietly.
“I'm going to regret not taking you straight up to the room,” he whispers, his breath warm on my ear.
“We gotta eat,” I point out.
“Room service,” he retorts before his voice drops an octave. “But I had my eye on something else on the menu.”
His hands glide over my hips, tugging me back so I can feel the slight bulge in his pants.
“It's our last night though,” I mock-whine, grinning up at him as he glowers. “We should make the most of it.”
His glower disappears, replaced with a knowing smile. “I know.”
I frown, suspicious at his sudden change in attitude. “What have you got up your sleeve, Rollins?”
“You seem to forget that you're a Rollins too now.”
“Only I didn't automatically inherit your sneaky ways,” I retort.
“I'm not sneaky,” he frowns. “I just enjoy surprising my wife. And you should know by now that my surprises are always the best.”
I'm about to reply when the boat finally docks and we're ushered to disembark.
“So,” I say as we follow another couple back up the path to the resort. “This surprise...”
“Patience.”
I pout. “Is a virtue I was never blessed with.”
“Ain't that the truth,” he smirks.
The couple ahead of us turn right towards the restaurant and I'm about to follow when Seth tugs at my hand. “This way.”
Confused, I start to protest, only for him to place a solitary finger over my lips.
“Follow me. No questions.”
I kiss the tip of his finger, smirking as his eyes darken. “Yes, Sir.”
He groans as he wraps his arm around my shoulders. “Behave, Rollins.” I elbow his side gently and he chuckles.
“You look stunning tonight,” he tells me as we follow the path to the left.
“Thank you.” I can feel my cheeks glowing as his hand trails over my bare back. His face said it all when I emerged from the bathroom earlier this evening, his eyes dragging over my floor-length grey dress with a neckline that deeps just south of my breasts. As I turned to show off the back, I kept my gaze over my shoulder, watching him swallow hard as he took in the the way material gathered at the base of my neck and twisted into a long rope-like knot that followed my spine down to my waist before splitting in two again to criss-cross back over my front and back round to tie just above my ass.
“Beautiful,” he whispers into my hair as he guides me off the path and we pause in front of a solid wood door.
Before he can knock, the door is opened, a waiter appearing with a broad smile. “Mr and Mrs Rollins, welcome.”
I glance up at Seth. “What–”
“Please, follow me,” the waiter encourages, stepping aside to let us pass.
The air is cool as we follow a narrow corridor lit with small lanterns. I glance back over my shoulder at Seth, but he only grins at me. The waiter pauses at another door, opening it inwards and standing back to let us pass through. He smiles at me knowingly as I step forward and peer inside.
Each wall is covered with thick, wooden shelves, each containing bottle after bottle of wine. The ceiling is low, the room warm from the soft glow of the candles that are placed on every flat surface. And in the centre of the room, a single table is laid for two.
“Surprise,” Seth whispers in my ear as he nudges me forward into the room. My eyes scan the shelves in wonder, only glancing over my shoulder when the door softly closes.
Seth is at the table, pouring out two glasses of champagne. “You like?”
“This is amazing. I didn't even know this was here.”
“You can get to it from the main restaurant,” he explains as he offers me one of the glasses. “But then I found out there was an alternative route that's far more inconspicuous and that was bound to keep you in suspense for longer.”
I lean up and kiss him. “Well, not only am I surprised, I feel well and truly spoilt.”
“Anything for you,” he replies, clinking his glass against mine.
“So,” I say as I take a seat. “Is this the final surprise?”
Seth suddenly looks sheepish, his gaze darting away from me as he rubs the back of his neck. “Well...”
“Seth!”
“Promise you won't be pissed at me?”
“Pissed? Why would I be pissed at you?”
“I got you something,” he says slowly. “And I want you to accept it. No questions asked.”
I raise an eyebrow. “Why?”
He draws his seat closer, reaching for my hand. “Because you told me not to do this.”
“Do what?”
“But I couldn't. Mainly because I already had.”
“Had what? Seth, please, what are you talking about?”
“A ring.”
“A ring?”
“For you.” His eyes lock with mine. “A ring for you, Siobhan.”
“What for?”
He stares at me for a second. “You remember I told you how I was going to propose? Well, what I didn't tell you is that I already had the ring. It was at my parents for safe-keeping. They didn't know,” he quickly adds when he sees my eyes widen. “I had a bunch of stuff in their attic and I kept it there for a few months. I was going to propose to you over Christmas, but then... Then things changed and I said what I said and suddenly I'm proposing to you in a hotel room a week after surgery. I was going to give you the ring when we got home but then you said about not wasting the money on an engagement ring and spending it on something else. I... I was going to sell it, put the money towards the honeymoon instead, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.”
I hold my breath as he reaches inside his jacket and draws out a ring box.
“Seth...”
“Please, Siobhan...” he pushes the box towards me. “I know this isn't the right way round to do this, I know that we're already married. You don't have to wear it, but I want you to have it.”
My fingers tremble as I reach out and snap open the box. My eyes flicker up to Seth and I find him watching me with baited breath.
“It's okay,” I grin. “I already said yes.”
He lets out a bark of laughter. “I know, but I'm not sure if my taste is up to your standards.”
“You shouldn't put yourself down,” I say as my gaze drops back to the ring, the round diamond sparkling up at me, surrounded by smaller set diamonds that dance in the light as they travel along the curve of the ring. “It's beautiful, Seth.”
“You're not pissed at me?”
I laugh. “Definitely not. It's stunning. I kinda wish I hadn't said what I said about not wanting an engagement ring.”
He grins. “You really don't have to wear it if you don't want to.”
I smile, slipping my hand around his neck and pulling him closer. His mouth brushes against mine, once, twice, the third a keeper as he hums in satisfaction.
“Thank you,” I whisper.
He holds me close, inhaling deeply as his nose settles into my mass of hair. I grope at the table, seeking out the ring box. With Seth still nestled against me, I admire the ring once more, eventually plucking it from the velvet lined box and slipping it onto my finger. It feels heavy, solid but comfortable.
Seth pulls back, reaching for my hands. His fingers freeze as he brushes over the diamond.
“Siobhan...”
“No regrets,” I tell him. “Starting now.”
I’VE GOT YOUR BACK
Alex León is a well know name in the independent wrestling scene, having earned the nickname The Prophecy of Professional Wrestling. Alex and Seth have been married for three years but never confirmed their relationship with the public so when Baron Corbin started bad mouthing his wife Seth couldn’t hold back, Alex watching from afar realised the true intentions of ‘the sassy southern belle’ and finally found her place in the WWE.
January 6th 2019 -
Nashville Tennessee
“Thank you Alex! Thank you Alex! Thank you Alex!” Alex León is making her final walk around the ringside applauding, having just dropped the title to Taya Valkyrie in a gruelling match at Impact Wrestling Homecoming.
“An emotional Alex León making her final rounds here at Impact. This women is the definition of what it means to be an Impact Knockouts Champion, she has followed through with her promise and cemented her legacy in this company but she had a Prophecy to for fill somewhere else and we wish her the best of luck!” the commentary team announce.
Many rumours have spread about Alexandria not renewing her contract, having been in the company since 2013 she felt the need for a change.
With tears welling in her eyes, taking one final bow the programme closes with the last walk for Alex León backstage.
————————
Alexandria after taking her leave from Impact has been sending sometime at home, the days have been lonely without her husband and no wrestling as a distraction so like many people social media had taken up the majority of her time.
Pointlessly scrolling through twitter an article catches her attention:
‘Baron Corbin Chooses Lacey Evans As Guest Referee, Monday Night Raw Higlights 06/17/19’
León glances down at her wedding ring with a subtle look of confidence, exiting twitter she opens a contact typing out only one sentence…
I’ve got your back.
Wednesday 19th of June 2019
week of Stomping grounds
Stepping out of the car, Alex looks up to meet the deep brown eyes of her husband. A warm hand wraps it’s self around her waist pulling her into a loving embrace.
“Mrs Lopez i have missed you so much.” is the phrase that Alexandria feels rumble in her husbands chest, her bottom lip quivers knowing this reunion is months in the making.
“I can’t do this anymore, the distance i mean. I can’t keep waking up alone in bed. Practically me not working is a problem and i love my job i really do but i can’t keep being so far away from you, i just can’t do it. I need you” Alex let’s out a chocked sob as she repeats the words she had been dwelling on for the duration on the drive.
Instinctively Colby glanced down, his eyes drowning in sympathy, he knows the feeling. Lifting his hand to wipe away a stray tear.
“Stay here then baby, stay with me. I need you too, more then i could ever express in words. Stay here and we can make sure your work is valued for the talent you showcase, i’ll make sure nothing goes wrong” Colby pleads knowing they had to have this conversation, if Lexi retires then the idea would be completely out of the window…
Saturday June 23rd 2019
Tacoma Dome - Tacoma, Washington.
Lacey evans stood face to face with a very frustrated Seth Rollins, she had been changing and bending rules in Corbin’s favour and it was obvious it was getting to him. Suddenly Rollins’ face is flying left, she had slapped him!
“omg.. and here’s Baron Corbin trying to take advantage!” Spinning Seth around Baron tried to capitalise on the distraction only to meet a blow to his jaw leaving his slumped on the ropes for support.
“OH! A LOW BLOW BY THE OFFICIAL!”
The beginning beats of ‘Prophecy by Queensryche’ hits the arenas speakers, the crowd arrupts with cheers as a familiar red head charges down the ramp.
“IS IT? IT IS, COREY ITS ALEX LÈON THE FORMER IMAPCT KNOCKOUTS CHAMPION! SHES HERE IN THE WWE!”
“Why is Alex Lèon here? she isn’t part of this match?” Corey announces beside a very happy Renee Young and Micheal Cole.
Sliding into the ring Alex pounces on Lacey Evans throwing combinations of punches and slaps to the blonde.
“ALEX LÈON IS ASSAULTING EVANS, ALEX LÈON IS TAKING OUT THE OFFICIAL! ITS NO DISQUALIFICATION, ALEX CAN DO WHATEVER THE HELL SHE WANTS TO DO!”
Alex and Lacey take the brawl outside of the ring, the sassy southern belle is sprawled out on the floor after being in the receiving end of a ‘final chapter’ (an exploder suplex) when officials and security try to tear Lèon from Evans.
Whilst in the firm grip of many security men, Alexandria looks though the ropes to see her husband of three years reverse an ‘end of days’ to hit a stomp.
1. 2. 3.
“SETH ROLLINS RETAINS WITH THE HELP OF A DEBUTING ALEX LÈON! WHAT A MOMENT!”
The wife joins her husband in the ring, raising his arm in victory. Seth couldn’t wait any longer, wrapping his arms around her waist he lifts his spouse into the air placing a delicate kiss on her lips. Whispers can be seen being shared between the couple as the crowd explodes with cheers.
“you did good baby, you did so good”
“Sweetheart, i told you i got you’re back.”
