I’d make one asking what’s the weirder Sci Fi series, Lexx or Farscape.

And then nobody would know what the hell Lexx even is and I’d have to explain the evil insect empire’s doomsday weapon being commandeered by a janitor as the central premise of the show.

I have (of course) way too many blorbos, so going with first 5 (well, 6) that came to mind right now.

Legolas and Gimli. Reading LotR has always been a very bittersweet experience, but none of that profound sadness touches Legolas and Gimli. They are my happy place. And a unit.

Hua Manlou. My absolute favouritest wuxia character, I think. Hua Manlou loves life, loves people, totally *could* kick your ass but probably won't - and he'll tell the Death Incarnate In White (tm) Ximen Chuixue straight to his face "you reek of death, good sir, go smell some flowers". He da best. Way cooler than his bestie Lu Xiaofeng (and Lu Xiaofeng is hella cool).

Brunnis-1, the original home world of the Brunnen-G, was located in the Dark Zone, an alternate universe accessible via a Black Hole. Thousands of years ago, they came to the aid of planets in the Light Zone to fight and defeat a great insect menace.

When they realized their sun was unstable, they relocated to the Light Zone and settled on a new planet dubbed Brunnis-2. There they became isolationist, and refused to help when another Great Insect War began.

A prophesy foretold that a young Brunnen-G warrior would some days kill His Divine Shadow. It would take him over 4000 to accomplish his task.
