Just saw this on Twitter! I know it’s old but I hadn’t seen it before. I’m excited to see this in Season 5 as this appears to establish that the MKUltra Program that Terry was a part of morphed into the program Eleven was in once Henry joined.

c.530 – Venantius Fortunatus (d.circa 600/609) was a Latin poet and hymnodist in the Merovingian Court, and a Bishop of the early Catholic Church. He was never canonised but was venerated as Saint Venantius Fortunatus during the Middle Ages.
Born in Treviso, near Ravenna in Italy, he spent his time as court poet to the Merovingians. After visiting the tomb of St. Martin of Tours at St. Hilary at Poitiers, he decided to enter a monastery.
He continued to write poetry, some of which have a permanent place in Catholic hymnody, for instance the Easter season hymns "Vexilla Regis" and the "Pange Lingua" (Sing, O my tongue, of the battle). Three or four years before he died he was made bishop of Poitiers. Although never canonized, he was venerated as a saint in the medieval church, and his feast day is still recognized on 14th December each year.
Like Paulinus of Nola, St Venantius's poetry also includes some decidedly secular verse of the romantic sort. That this celebrates male love is clear from its inclusion in the Penguin Book of Homosexual Verse.
"Written on an Island off the Breton Coast" You at God's altar stand, His minister And Paris lies about you and the Seine: Around this Breton isle the Ocean swells, Deep water and one love between us twain. Wild is the wind, but still thy name is spoken; Rough is the sea: it sweeps not o'er they face. Still runs my lover for shelter to its dwelling, Hither, O heart, to thine abiding place. Swift as the waves beneath an east wind breaking Dark as beneath a winter sky the sea, So to my heart crowd memories awaking, So dark, O love, my spirit without thee.
Fortunatus died in the early 600s. He was called a saint after his death, but was never formally canonized.

1901 – King Paul of Greece (d.1964) reigned as king of Greece from 1947 to 1964. He may have been bi-sexual.
Paul was born in Athens, the third son of King Constantine I of Greece and his wife, Princess Sophia of Prussia. He was trained as a naval officer. On 9 January 1938, Paul married Frederika of Hanover at Athens. They had three children.
Before his marriage he is alleged to have invited the homosexual literary muse, Denham Fouts, on a cruise of the Aegean Sea, perhaps because they were lovers. However, Fouts's friend John B. L. Goodwin said Fouts often made up stories about his life, and literary critic Katherine Bucknell thought many of the tales about him were myth.
During most of World War II, when Greece was under German occupation, he was with the Greek government-in-exile in London and Cairo. From Cairo, he broadcast messages to the Greek people.
Paul returned to Greece in 1946. He succeeded to the throne in 1947, on the death of his childless elder brother, King George II.

David Lewis (L) with Producer Irving Pichel
1903 – David Lewis (d.1987 ), born David Levy, was a Hollywood film producer who produced such films as Dark Victory (1939), Arch of Triumph (1948), and Raintree County (1957).
He was also the longtime companion of director James Whale from 1930 to 1952. Although they were separated at the time of Whale's death in 1957, Lewis later released the contents of Whale's suicide note.
Lewis was portrayed in the 1998 film Gods and Monsters by David Dukes.

1915 – The American actor and dancer Dan Dailey was born on this date (d.1978). Dailey was born and raised in New York City and appeared in vaudeville before his Broadway debut in 1937 in Babes in Arms. In 1940, he was signed by MGM to make movies and, although his past career had been in musicals, he was initially cast as a Nazi in The Mortal Storm. However, the people at MGM realized their mistake quickly and cast him in a series of musical films.
He served in the United States Army during World War II, was commissioned as an Army Officer after graduation from Signal OCS at Ft Monmouth, NJ, after which he served with distinction until the war ended. Then returned to more musicals. Beginning with Mother Wore Tights (1947) Dailey became the frequent and favorite co-star of movie legend Betty Grable. His performance in their film When My Baby Smiles at Me in 1948 garnered him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. In 1950, he starred in A Ticket to Tomahawk, often noted as one of the first screen appearances of Marilyn Monroe, in a very small part as a dance-hall girl. In 1953, Dailey starred in Meet Me at the Fair. One of his notable roles was in There's No Business Like Show Business (1954) which featured Irving Berlin's music and also starred Ethel Merman, Marilyn Monroe, Donald O'Connor, and Johnnie Ray.
In 1950 the notorious "Confidential" Magazine (the National Enquirer of its day) printed a picture of him wearing female clothing. His studio, 20th Century Fox, rushed to repair the damage; gossip columnists were told that Dailey had simply been snapped on his way to a fancy dress party. But Andre Previn, the composer, tells in his biography No Minor Chords how Dailey turned up drunk and in female clothing for the press screening of It's Always Fair Weather in 1954. In the mid '70s, gossip columnist Joyce Haber was on television promoting a novel about Hollywood. Asked to dish some gossip, she mentioned that one of the top dancer-actors was a closet transvestite with a costly and beautiful wardrobe that many women would envy.
He had three failed marriages with women, but also was known to hang out in Gay bars. After the suicide of his only son, he was an embittered alcoholic. He died three years later, just after he playing boyfriend Clyde Tolson in (the unintentionally hilarious *and bad*) The Private Files of J.Edgar Hoover (1977). He appeared in over 60 films in his career.

1932 – George Furth (d.2008) was an American librettist, playwright, and actor.
Born in Chicago with the name of George Schweinfurth (he dropped the "schwein" on becoming an actor).
Furth made his Broadway debut as an actor in the 1961 play A Cook for Mr. General, followed by the musical Hot Spot two years later. He was also known for his collaborations with Stephen Sondheim: the highly successful Company, the ill-fated Merrily We Roll Along and the equally ill-fated drama, Getting Away with Murder. Furth penned the plays Twigs, The Supporting Cast and Precious Sons, and wrote the book for the Kander and Ebb musical, The Act.
Company has been revived many times over the years, sometimes updated to the Aids era, although requests from producers to give the show a homosexual slant were turned down by the unmarried Sondheim and Furth, although both of them were gay.
Frequently cast as a bespectacled, ineffectual milquetoast, Furth appeared in such films as The Best Man, Myra Breckinridge, Hooper, Blazing Saddles, Oh God!, Shampoo, The Cannonball Run, Young Doctors in Love, Doctor Detroit, Bulworth and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. His many television credits include Tammy, McHale's Navy, Ironside, I Dream of Jeannie, That Girl, Green Acres, The Monkees, Batman, The Odd Couple, Bonanza, Happy Days, All in the Family, Murphy Brown, L.A. Law, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Murder, She Wrote, Little House on the Prairie, Love, American Style, Adam-12, F Troop and the made-for-TV film The Scarlett O'Hara War, in which he portrayed famed film director George Cukor. He was a regular in the cast of the short-lived 1976 situation comedy The Dumplings.
He adapted his play Twigs as a 1975 television production, starring Carol Burnett. He also worked as a voice actor in several episodes of the animated television series The Adventures of Don Coyote and Sancho Panda for Hanna-Barbera Productions.
One of Furth's last writing projects was a foray into an area where he had not previously endeavored. Furth penned the lyrics for a musical revue, with music by Doug Katsaros. Furth and Katsaros shaped the work with San Francisco director Mike Ward into "The End - a new musical revue". The piece was performed at San Francisco's New Conservatory Theatre Center during the summer of 2004 and was billed as a "Pre-U.S. Tour Workshop Production". The piece was reworked twice, with the title changing to Last Call and Happy Hour, respectively.
Furth died on August 11, 2008 at the age of 75. The exact cause of death is unknown, although he had been hospitalized for a lung disease at the time.

1955 – Hervé Guibert (d.1991) was a French writer and photographer. The author of numerous novels and autobiographical studies, he played a considerable role in changing French public attitudes to AIDS. He was a close friend and lover of Michel Foucault.
Guibert was born in Saint-Cloud, Hauts-de-Seine, to a middle-class family and spent his early years in Paris, moving to La Rochelle from 1970 to 1973. In his teens Hervé Guibert lied about his age to work at the magazine 20 ans eventually leading to a job with Le Monde. After working as a filmmaker and actor, he turned to photography and journalism. In 1978, he successfully applied for a job at France's prestigious evening paper Le Monde and published his second book, Les aventures singulières (published by Éditions de minuit). In 1984, Guibert shared a César Award for best screenplay with Patrice Chéreau for L'homme blessé. Guibert had met Chéreau in the 1970s during his theatrical years.
Guibert's writing style was inspired by the French writer Jean Genet. Three of his lovers occupied an important place in his life and work: Thierry Jouno, director of an institute for the blind whom he met in 1976, and which led to his novel Des aveugles; Michel Foucault, whom he met in 1977; and Vincent Marmousez, a teenager of fifteen who inspired his novel Fou de Vincent.
In January 1988 Guibert was diagnosed with AIDS. From then on, he worked at recording what was left of his life. In June the following year, he married Christine, the partner of the late Thierry Jouno, so that his royalty income would eventually pass to her and her two children. In 1990, Guibert publicly revealed his HIV status in his roman à clef "À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie" (published in English as To the Friend Who Did Not Save My Life). Guibert immediately found himself the focus of media attention, featured in newspapers and appearing on several television talk shows.
Two more books also detailing the progress of his illness followed: Le Protocole compassionnel (published in English as The Compassionate Protocol) and L'Homme au chapeau rouge (published in English as The Man In The Red Hat), which was released posthumously in January 1992, the same month French television screened La Pudeur ou l'impudeur, a home-made film by Guibert of his last year as he lost his battle against AIDS. Almost blind as a result of disease, he attempted to end his life just before his 36th birthday, and died two weeks later.

1968 – Yotam Ottolenghi is an Israeli-English chef, restaurateur, and food writer. He is the co-owner of six delis and restaurants in London, as well as the author of several bestselling cookbooks, including Ottolenghi (2008), Plenty (2010), Jerusalem (2012) and Ottolenghi Simple (2018).
Ottolenghi was conscripted into the Israeli Defense Forces in 1989, serving three years in IDF intelligence headquarters. He then studied at the Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students of Tel Aviv University, where in 1997, he completed a combined bachelor's and master's degree in comparative literature; his thesis being on the philosophy of the photographic image. While working on his thesis, Ottolenghi served as a night copy editor for Haaretz.
In 1997, Ottolenghi and his then-partner Noam Bar moved to Amsterdam, where he edited the Hebrew section of the Dutch-Jewish weekly NIW and considered getting his doctorate in comparative literature. Instead, he moved to London to study French cooking at Le Cordon Bleu.
Ottolenghi met his partner Karl Allen in 2000; they married in 2012 and live in Camden with their two sons, Max and Flynn. In 2013, Ottolenghi "came out as a gay father" in a Guardian essay that detailed the lengthy process of conceiving Max via gestational surrogacy, an option that he believes should be more widely available to those who cannot conceive naturally.
Ottolenghi served as a pastry chef at three London restaurants: the Michelin-starred Capital Restaurant, Kensington Place, and Launceston Place in Kensington New Town. In 1999, he became head pastry chef at the artisanal pastry shop Baker and Spice, where he met the Palestinian chef Sami Tamimi, who grew up in Jerusalem's Old City. Ottolenghi and Tamimi bonded over a shared language—Hebrew—and a joint "incomprehension of traditional English food".
His debut cookbook Ottolenghi was published in 2008 and has sold over 100,000 copies. Six volumes have followed: the all-vegetable cookbooks Plenty (2010) and Plenty More (2014); Jerusalem (2012); Nopi (2015); the dessert cookbook Sweet (2017); and Ottolenghi Simple (2018).
Ottolenghi's bestselling cookbooks have proven influential, with The New York Times noting that they are "widely knocked-off for their plain-spoken instructions, puffy covers, and photographs [that Ottolenghi] oversees himself, eschewing a food stylist". In 2014, the London Evening Standard remarked that Ottolenghi had "radically rewritten the way Londoners cook and eat", and Bon Appetit wrote that he had "made the world love vegetables".

Scorched Enigma
Day 22 of Blacktober! Still feel like shit but have fun and make sure to participate in the poll!
This is the third installment of Toy Enigma
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Taking his advice, Superman flies over to St. Martin’s Island and lands on the front steps of the largest estate on the island as Y/n had instructed.
Ringing the doorbell, Superman takes in the exterior of the estate, it was indeed a large house but it fit Y/n’s rich girl personality.
The front door opens and a child appears in front of him. A little boy looked up at him with his green eyes, amazed at the sight of Superman at his doorstep.
“Woah!! Superman is standing at the front door!” He exclaims, bouncing excitedly in place.
“Um, hello.” Superman says and the boy grins.
“Dillan, what has mom told you about opening the door? You don’t know who it is or what they want.” Another voice scolds as they pull the star struck boy into the house, this time a girl no older than a teenager comes up to the door.
“Superman?” The girl questions and the man of steel waves awkwardly.
“Wait are you really him? You’re The Superman right?”
He levitates a bit to show her that he was legit and the teen gasps in disbelief. Dillan pokes his head back through the doorway.
“No way! I can’t wait to show my friends online! The Superman at my house-“
“Alright, you two, go and call your other nine brothers and sisters to the table. It’s time for dinner.” He hears Y/n say and the two children groan sadly but leaves from the door to do what she says.
Y/n opens the door to reveal herself and gives Superman a polite nod and motions him to come into her home.
Superman steps into the house and looks at the intricate details of the statues that stood by the front door, they were Greek from what he could tell and looked to be pristine in its condition.
“Momm!! Taylor is locked away in the bathroom again!” Y/n sighs softly as she closed the door behind the hero. She begins walking and Superman follows behind her, he looks around her home, it was nicely decorated.
They walked by the stairwell, and Superman could hear arguing from upstairs.
“Taylor! Open the door!” The same girl fusses.
“Lynn, there are nine more bathrooms that you can use, there’s no need for you to use the one your brother is in!” Y/n says up the carpeted staircase.
“But, that one has my phone in it! Come on Taylor!” Banging on wood is heard and Y/n sighs again.
Superman, could see children either running down a hallway or a child walking and making their way to what he can assume was the dining room.
“Um, how many children do you-“
“I have eleven in total. You had actually arrived at the time where it’s time for us to eat dinner.” She explains and leads them into a study.
Pressing the button under the grey and white desk, the statue that was overlooking the study opened into a staircase leading into the ground.
Walking down the steps, Clark sees a Y/n floats over to one of the large supercomputers. As she typed away at the keyboard, Clark looks around the large area, it was filled with statues of African, Greek and Egyptian women.
“Why are all the statues just women?” He asked, curiously staring at Hathor the Goddess of Love.
“I’m sure you’re not here for all of that, here you go.” She says and moves to the side to let Clark look at the computer screen.
It was a picture of Brainiac, but a diagramed version of him.
“Brainiac is rebuilding his body by using Luthor’s money and technology however, there is just one thing that Luthor can’t buy. And it’s this,” she presses a button and the screen changes to show a strange device, like a pin cushion for someone sewing.
“What is it?” He asks.
“It’s a psi-amplifier to take over your mind. You remember when Luthor played “dead” a couple of months ago? He’s made contact with Brainiac and it would seem that the two are working together.” She explains leaning against a wall.
“Luthor isn’t that stupid, he wouldn’t work with Brainiac, he doesn’t know what he would do to the world.” Clark says.
“Then you’re not ready for what he’s going to do in the future. I don’t have an idea as to where this is but, I’m sure your bat friend can help you with that part.” She gives him a look as Clark looks at her with surprise.
“How did you-“
“I’m just not as slow as other people are. I even know Diana.” Y/n tells him then presses another button on her computer.
The printer spouts out the information of the device he needed to locate on a small piece of paper and Y/n handed to Superman.
“This is all I can do for you unfortunately, but, you can at least figure out what you need. If you need my help, you know where to find me.” she says and Clark nods.
“Thank you, I appreciate the help.” Y/n smiles at him.
“Come on, I’m sure you want to go ahead and get this done, I’ll walk you out. I’m late for dinner and I’m sure my babies are waiting on me, which I try to tell them not to do.” Y/n rambles as she leads them both out the lair.
Returning to the front door, Y/n watches as Superman opens her front door and leaves out but then levitates a few feet away from her house. Y/n crosses her arms as she watches him and looks up at the flying man.
In the nearby window, all the children from inside gathered at the glass to see the famous hero in red and blue.
“Good luck Superman.” Y/n said and he nods and waves at the kids who wave back excitedly and flies off.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Batman and Superman flew side by side as they made their way to the first piece of the device.
The Batwing’s location indicated where they needed to go, blinking steadily as they approached the coordinates Batman was able to pinpoint.
“We should be there in the next couple of hours, it’s supposed to be a particular material that we need to get.” Batman says.
“Right, so far I still don’t see anything, it’s just an endless list of forestry and wildlife.” Superman tells him as he uses his superhuman vision to see further ahead.
His eyes widen and he stops, Batman stops as well.
“What is it?” Batman asks.
“There’s something out there, it’s coming in fast.” Superman tells him and Batman looks down at his surroundings beacon. Nothing was in a five hundred mile radius but, Batman never took his friend’s word for granted.
“I don’t see anything on my beacons but what do you see?” Batman asks.
Using his superhuman vision, Superman sees a total of seven missiles heading right for them.
“It’s missiles, seems like someone doesn’t want us out here.” Superman says.
As the missiles neared, Superman takes the lead of flying ahead and knocking out the first missile with his fists.
Batman uses his own missiles to take out the other two missiles that came close to his Batwing. Suddenly, his beacon starts to go off and he reads the warning message, the words in capital letters and red bold font.
“Just two more!” Batman hears Superman say and looks up just in time to see the man of steel fly off to face the final bombs.
“Superman wait! There’s something different with those missiles!” Batman warns and Superman stops flying so quickly in the air and instead grabs the two final missiles in his hands.
As soon as he grabs them, the exhaust of the missiles go out and melts in his hands, the silver metal wrapping around his arms and coating the rest of his body.
Superman tries to shake off the suddenly alive metal but that didn’t do anything as it takes over the rest of his body. It forms a coffin like casing around his body and with his concentration off, his power of flight is diminished and he drops like a rock into the tress below.
“Superman!” Batman yells and grunts when the Batwing is suddenly rocking. He looks to his right and sees that the engine of his Batwing is on fire and it drops down a bit from the air.
He couldn’t see anything around him that was attacking him and didn’t have enough time to try to figure it out as his other engine was attacked. Feeling the Batwing begin to fall from the air, Batman pushes the eject button and is suddenly ejected from his seat.
As he is parachuted, he watches his vehicle crash into the trees and explode.
“Damn it. What was that?” He asks.
Meanwhile with Superman, he struggles in his metal prison and unfortunately he wasn’t able to speak to let his partner know where he was.

more thoughts regarding Henry Creel’s time at Hawkins Lab because I’m so (not) normal about that guy.
okay, so do you guys remember when Doctor Brenner rewarded Two with a candy when he did good during the lesson?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
now don’t mind me imagining him giving young Henry a candy, when Henry was the only kid there, as a reward to try to urge him into complying / into trying to do good. I’m not saying candy absolutely worked for Henry, but after all he was still a kid. and I don’t think Virginia was the kind of parents who allowed her kids to have candy. so idk dude, imagine young Henry not wanting to give in and accept Brenner’s so called gift before he gave in and did what Brenner wanted in the end, because I bet, at the beginning, Brenner gave or tried to give Henry candy without Henry having to do anything for it, and once Henry — a kid, mind you — got a taste of candy and asked for more, Brenner said he had to do something to earn it first.
just imagine Henry wanting candy. imagine Henry agreeing to be good for Brenner because he just wanted the candy. imagine candy being the only “normal” thing Henry had during his childhood. imagine Henry, now as an adult, still having a secret longing / nostalgia for something as simple, as childlike as candy.
@twihs-blog I think I made myself cry…

Wolves
Tumblr media
In the OOTW tour screens (recreated in the TV Lyric video) Taylor is a wolf, an apex predator (apex popstar) running with a peer partner through the woods. The tour screens came before the MV where Taylor was alone, hunted before solitarily leading the pack.
When the music video came out Taylor liked multiple posts confirming they represent the wolves media & GP (Below) pulling them apart. I think the change in her role indicates it’s more complex than media/GP, it’s also her own fame. She is not just prey, she is a wolf herself. In TTPD I think we have a deeper look at the things tearing at her yes fans & media but fame & industry also.
Tumblr media
This meaning of wolves as dark side of fame is particular interesting with Daylight where the muse ran with the wolves and wouldn’t settle down, as in they chose to be pursue fame, similar to the lost boys in Peter:
Daylight: Maybe you ran with the wolves and refused to settle down
In GAS Taylor is dreaming of the wolf muse and contemplating what that would mean for her life:
Guilty as Sin?: I dream of cracking locks, throwing my life to the wolves or the ocean rocks
In the Prophecy Taylor is a wolf again, but no longer part of the pack, wolves howl at the moon to communicate with other wolves. In that song she was separated from her wolf muse.
The Prophecy: A greater woman stays cool but I howl like a wolf at the moon
Harry
Harry has a custom painted Martin guitar with a wolf and moon he’s used since it was first seen 28 April 2018, it is painted by his friends artist twins Simon and Nikolai Haas (The Haas Brothers)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Harry has a similar Lyric to daylight but running with thieves in MMIH:
MMIH: I walked the streets all day, running with thieves
In St Louis (after he and Taylor were in Chicago) Harry changed thieves to "running with you" a similar meaning of outside force/self/sharing that with a like minded partner:
Taylor liked these posts saying the wolves represented the media and forces tearing them apart. (x, x, x, x, x, x)

monn rach lore because i cannot keep it to myself anymore sobbing (pt 1)
You read the title, monn rach lore (pt 1) because two people said yes
ill try to make it make sense because my grammar kinda sucks ass and i dont know how to properly explain things (and i’ll split it into 2-3 parts because i don’t want the post to be too long 💔💔💔💔)
also if it’s historically inaccurate im so sorry ,,
presented by yours truly (warnjng: i suck at writing)
Monn was born into the religious Rach family in Leipzig on 13th of March 1784, and is the youngest one among his siblings, Meier and Martin.
Since his father was an officer in the Prussian army and wasn’t usually home, Monn’s mother cared for him and his brothers alone, and she usually brought them to church. (you guys will not like his father, trust me)
When Monn is 2 years old, his mother started noticing weird behaviours from him, like not being able to speak properly. At first she thought it was nothing and figured he’ll grow out of it, but those behaviours followed him to his 5th birthday, and since the family’s religious she reaallyy started to believe that he’s cursed in a way and started ignoring him, only feeding him but basically just gave him no attention in fear that he’ll attract a demon or smth (this will NOT cause problems later on /sarc). Luckily his brothers think that’s bullshit so they started to care for him instead and taught him life skills, though mother would always warn them to not interact with him. Monn during this time also started to have small cannibalistic thoughts, which will NOT spiral guys!! /j
So Monn was no longer given attention by his mom and pretty much started to distrust her, only daring to approach his brothers for help. During this time he found an interest in cats, black cats to be specific, and he started to dream of being a veterinarian when he grows up.
One day during mass at age 6, he met Father Silvio, a new chaplain in St. Thomas, and he immediately trusted him with every atom of his being due to him looking like a white cat and followed him around, even though Silvio kind of didn't like him and would push him away every time they’ll interact. (he will come back later in clutch so keep him in mind)
When he was 10, Monn met a scholar (who I didn’t name but feel free to suggest) who was willing to teach him sign language and help him read and write properly after school. Most of Monn’s happy childhood memories came from his time with the scholar and he feels like he owed him a lot for it. Sadly the scholar had to leave Leipzig 2 years later and he never crossed paths with him ever again. Before he left, he did gift Monn a grey wool scarf as a sign of appreciation.
His life after that wasn’t super interesting, his routine was just wake up, breakfast, go to school, come back, dinner, sleep. Maybe add going to mass on Sundays but thats really about it.
And I’ll end it here for this part because im gonna TWEAK after using my brain to write this for 2 nights (which is apparently when my brain usually goes “write now”) (yes i did get sleep because i got tired) im so sorry guys for not writing the entire thing guh…
hopefully you guys can understand this and LIKE MONN’S LORE!!! (Any suggestions and criticisms are VERY welcome, making situations is also VERY allowed!!)
monarchy out and until i return

German crp headcanons
Nina:
Nina the Killer would listen to SXTN. She'd blast 'Von Party zu Party' in her pink, leopard print, maximalist room every day. She knows all of their songs by heart and introduces everyone who doesn't know them (very few) to SXTN.
Had a fat crush on the Kaulitz brothers (Tokio Hotel), Peter Shaw (Die ???), Julien Bam and Taddl (TJ_beastboy) when she was younger.
Watched Rebekah Wing's horror yt vids religiously. Tbh, she watched every German youtuber's horror vlogs.
Was a victim of the "Scheiss Grufti" and "Zieh dich mal vernünftig an" comments in her school.
Since she's Turkish in my AU, she had an accent when she spoke German, especially when she was younger. It's still there but not as noticeable.
Early and uncontrolled internet access kid.
CRO hater in public, secretly loved his songs.
Didn't go outside often when she was younger, she rather played at home or in her backyard.
Was that kid that went to primary school with a princess crown.
Wanted to go to the Longboard tour SO badly but wasn't allowed to.
Listens to Hobbylos. (Nett hier, aber haben Sie schon Hobbylos mit 5 Sternen bewertet?)
Toby:
Probably grew up in a small village on the countryside.
Was an outside kid, he hated being at home. Not only because of the abuse but also because he got bored too quickly.
Parents somehow convinced him to be an altar boy, he quit when he was 14 or something.
LOVED Die Ärzte and Pisse, his dad listened to Rammstein so he didn't listen to them as some form of protest. (I don't support the actions of Till Lindemann in any way btw)
Went everywhere with his bicycle until 13, then he just walked everywhere or took public transport.
Says 'Digga' in every sentence, doesn't even know how he picked it up but he did. (Digga is a German slang word, comparable to bro, dude etc...)
Toggo kid who actively hated on KiKa kids. Mainly because he once fell asleep while watching KiKa in the evening and woke up while Berndt das Brot was on. He got jumpscared basically. (Please google Berndt das Brot, that thing was every German kid's nightmare and biggest fear istg.)
Always got candy too when he went to the bakery. Loved Esspapier and Schlümpfe.
Absolutely despises AfD voters. (Which is good, don't vote right wing parties kids, be like Toby)
When the first Bibi und Tina movie came out, his sister forced him to go to the cinema with him.
Regularly falls into a bush of nettles. (Not that he cares or feels it)
Ate every god damn berry he found in the wild when he was a kid. An absolute miracle that he's still alive.
Has always been a Marvel boy.
Met Nat in primary school. They even lived close to one another. Thought Nat was weird at first but somehow ended up crushing really hard on her in 8th grade or something. Is still crushing.
Natalie:
Was a victim of the "Oui, oui baguette" comments at her school.
Was the weird girl at her school, no one really talked to her, was always drawing something and only wore black.
Absolutely loved Stutenkerle and St. Martins Brezeln.
Always had the prettiest lantern at St. Martin.
LOVED Bibi und Tina. Had everything from them, dvds, cds, posters, friendship bracelets, everything.
Had a big fat crush on Toby in 7th grade. (Nothing really changed about that lol)
Lived on a farm, had her own little pony and named her Sabrina as a reference to Bibi und Tina.
Lived in a small village on the countryside. (Same that Toby lived in obviously)
Ruhrpott dialect despite her French roots. I'm not gonna explain why, she just has it.
Had a crush on Beni from Woozlegoozle when she was a kid.
Even though her parents are french, they loved Schlager music. Nat has a love-hate relationship with it.
Was at EVERY Schützenfest in her village and those around it. Had no particular reason for it, she always went alone anyways. She just found it amusing to see people get drunk and do stupid shit.
Was a Die Ärzte girl.
