Some Eddie x cheer manager!reader headcanons because people gave me attention and I’m incapable of shutting up

Masterlist

So first off I imagine the Hawkins cheer squad in this universe is actually super friendly, people just tend to think they’re stuck up because they stick to themselves a lot (they’re actually just super close knit and love spending time with each other) and because they’re associated with the basketball team who can be pretty dickish

Reader isn’t actually on the cheer squad but the other girls don’t consider her any less of a team member, they’ve tried to convince her to actually try out for years but she’s a little worried about not fitting any of the uniforms and having to wear it in front of everybody

Reader is a thick queen and while she’s a baddie I think outwardly she comes across as very dorky, like she’s a metal head and on weekends her outfits tend to skew a little more punky but when she’s out she dresses a little more typical because she doesn’t like to draw attention

So when she let’s slip that she has a crush on Eddie at one of the groups big team sleepovers the squad totally sees the potential because they actually have a heap in common even though none of them really understand her attraction to him

Those girls are supportive so they immediately tell her to ask him out because reader is totally a catch and he’d be lucky to date her

Reader is not on board with that idea because not only does approaching him sound terrifying, but she’s not sure she wants to date him

Because even though she thinks Eddie is adorable and she likes so many other things about him, she’s heard the rants he gives in the cafeteria about how pointless sports are and she will not date someone who degrades her interests and her friends that way!

But the cheer squad is already sold on Eddie and reader being the world’s most adorable couple so its decided, the team will just find a way to show Eddie that sports can be worthwhile and then he can date reader

The team decides that a cheer routine to music Eddie is into might be a good way to open his eyes

They choreography something to thunderstruck by ACDC and the routine includes reader and she has a solo which is as close to giving Eddie a lap dance as would be acceptable for a school event

The cheer squad convinces the principal to hold a talent show so they know he’ll actually attend

Reader is on the committee that sets up the talent show so she places the seats for other participants in a place that allows them to involve Eddie in the routine easily (because the moment its announced he signs up corroded coffin)

Robin is also on the talent show committee and reader ends up involved in the full shenanigans of season 4, but that is a separate set of head canons

The cheers squad spends most of the time before their performance giving reader a pep talk after they get her into the uniform because yea it’s a little tighter on her chest and it squishes into her waist a little but she still looks hot and Eddie is going to die when he sees her and they won’t let reader think any different

Eddie is absolutely starstruck when reader and the team do their routine, because reader is right in front of him on stage and she’s so pretty, and he could’ve sworn she just winked at him

Eddies band performs before the cheer squad thankfully because he’d probably be too distracted to perform after them - and if Eddie spends the rest of the talent show with his guitar pointedly covering his lap the rest of the band is polite enough to not call him out on it till they all pile into his van that afternoon

While the cheer teams plan had the desired effect of making Eddie less critical of cheerleading it doesn’t actually get them much closer to having reader on a date with Eddie

Because she’s still too embarrassed to ask him out, especially if he didn’t pick up on a hint like her cheering to ACDC for him

But Eddie is completely convinced reader is out of his league and there’s no way he could possibly ask her out

So the team has another sleepover and goes back to the drawing board because they saw his reactions and they will get these two hopeless little dorks together

favorite kinds of dates

Sanji

- we all KNOW this man goes all out for dates, like he’ll scout out the perfect location that both suits you AND his insanely romantic ideals. 

- unfortunately this means that dates with sanji and few and far between, because this man will plan for WEEKS, and trying to find a good time slot where you’re not in a life or death fight well.. yeah it takes a while

- but boy, when it does happen? its magical. you really really dont know how he pulls it off, and you want to scoff at the show of pure romanticism but... it’s nice, genuinely.

- I don’t know specifically where you’d go, but he would shower you in gifts, small things, maybe something big that youve been wanting for a while? and after the rushing tide that is sanji’s romantic side, he calms down and its just the two of you. 

- he’s glued to your side the whole time, not clingy necessarily but he’s always touching you, holding your hand or placing his hand on your shoulders. you see the sights, have an amazing dinner (cooked by sanji of course, he wouldnt settle for less) and just enjoy each others company. 

- every time he takes you on a date you find yourself falling even further for him, even if you didnt think that was possible, he’s always showing you how deep his love goes and you learn every time you’re willing to drown in it completely. 

Brook

- Brook is a lot more tame in his date planning. actually he probably is really really bad at planning dates. he wants to surprise you, but he keeps asking you very obvious questions like ‘where would you like to go sightseeing’ or ‘do you like watching sunsets’ 

-he gets so hung up over planning a date that eventually he just takes you out on whatever island you happen to come across. if its populated and there’s no imminent threat of a fight he’ll take you shopping and for some lunch! very tame.

-if it’s not, then he’d probably pack a small lunch and try to overexaggerate how cool and nice the sights are. (they’re probably not very cool or all that nice, but his enthusiasm makes you laugh, so you go with it.)

- either way he ends the date watching the sunset with you, (because, yes brook, you like those) and puts on a little concert just for you. he sings a very sappy love song and despite yourself you tear up a bit.

- you spend the rest of the night cuddling and talking. Brook asks you (too many times) if you liked the date. you did, of course, because you like brook. You tell him that and he starts sobbing. 

Usopp

- im gonna start off by saying that this boy is over the moon to do ANYTHING with you. the prospect of a date sends him into fits of happy giggles that he cannot stop.

- there’s very little surprise with him, and basically no planning at all? the second he realizes that he CAN take you on a date he’s doing it. He’ll paint you something, maybe ask you to model for it? but honestly he knows you so well he wouldnt even need you to model to capture your likeness perfectly (he still asks tho)

- he wants this to be Special! he’ll try and make you a lunch so you can have a picnic and honestly whether or not it turns out well it doesnt actually matter that much, because it’s really sweet and he looks so happy.

- he tells you stories, because he knows you love them so much, makes up new ones you’ve never heard before and even puts on a little dramatic reenactment. he’ll give you jewelry, a matching necklace and earring set that he made and they look so good on you, like he’d been planning out this set for so long (he has)

- you end up in his workshop, to avoid the others mostly, and because it’s both of your favorite spots. you love it because everything just screams usopp, from the way you cant figure out how the supplies and tools are supposed to be organized but you know he knows where every single one is, to the splatters of paint that usopp hasn't (wont probably) clean up. 

- you probably have your first kiss there and its. really awkward because i couldn't imagine any other way it could go but you both laugh and hold hands and spend the rest of the night telling jokes and drawing together.

Luffy:

•would be the first to suggest to pregame before the actual event

•but zoro would definitely second the idea and already have the bottle out

•luffy’s fave raves are the bigger ones like EDC, Countdown, Beyond Wonderland, Escape, maybe even Coachella or Hard Summer and Lollapalooza

•definitely listens to Porter Robinson and will always go if he’s in the lineup

•his faves aside are: zedds dead, Audien, Dash Berlin, Major Lazor, Alison Wonderland,

•definitely wears colorful tops-even crop tops , but will not change the sandals or strawhat, it’s just his signature look (even adds beads to the straw hat too😭)

•ALSO WEARS NEON FACE PAINT THAT NAMI SAYS MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE HE’S READY TO PARTY

•is the type to party with everyone, they’ll be like “hey man me and my homies just saw you from across the tent and wanted to say we LOVE YOUR VIBES” luffy: ok *will pop a pill with the randoms 😭

•then once they’re there he’s fucked up again 💀

•A TOTAL RAVE BABE! Will go ALL OUT on her outfit: the sparkles, face paint, and wears almost nothing to the event or a cute crop fit (depending on the theme of the rave) hair is done, makeup is flawless and also is the one who’s planned the entire trip for them

•bc of that everyone else makes sure she has time for her fun

•luffy, sanji and frankie make sure no creepy dudes come up to her or even TRY to lay a hand on her

•she takes the cutes pics with robin who’s also dressed with ‘rave babe’ attire

•makes friends with a lot of girls there bc they’re all drunk and just complimenting each other’s fits

•becomes famous on social media over this

•is actually really into a lot of dj’s similar to luffy’s but she also likes ppl like dj snake, tiesto, illenium, disclosure, david guetta, kygo, steve aoki, etc

•will twerk on people she doesn’t gaf (mostly on other girls 😛)

•will also pop ecstasy or smoke weed but never has a bad trip bc she’s built different

•will sometimes stray away from the group bc he met a girl (i think rave!sanji is a whore idc he definitely gets laid)

•oh yeah he’s a huge foodie so he loves trying the stuff they have at the food trucks

•the other stoners see him as a god at raves bc he carries the BEST weed and is also super funny

•just vibes to the music by swaying his arms around to the beat

•but if he’s feeling a bit playful 😛 he’ll try to crowd surf and pop out some dance moves

•sometimes they leave without brook bc he always ends up getting dropped off back to the hotel but the friends he made LMAO

Jinbe:

•uncle vibes 😎 but he’s a good time

•doesn’t do the rave look but thinks wearing beads with an oversized shirt counts 👍🏻

•bops his head to the music and headbangs if he’s feeling it

•is never left out by the gang so he enjoys spending time with them

•will usually help nami with taking pictures and also knows all the best angles

•if he runs into older people he ends up having his own group and they all just hangout at a food or drink spot and have convos (pls i can see him being friends with professors who like to rave, I used to have a prof who did hence where this idea popped up from)

•makes sure everyone is safe and altogether by the end of the night

•will have blankets or sweaters ready for the girls and Luffy in case it’s cold

•suggests they all eat after having nothing but drugs and alcohol in their system LOL

Chopper:

•chopper is a baby so for the sake of this I’ll make it short and he’ll be a reindeer in this au

•they carry him like a backpack and make him stay still so he can get thru the bag check LOL

•surpringly he does bc nami sweet talks the security and says it’s her emotional support plushie

•once he’s in they make a stop to take him to try the food and sweet stations

•robin and chopper duo at a rave is cuteee, she just carries him around so he doesn’t walk anywhere but once she does people surround them like crazy

•everyones like “YOOOOO A TALKING REINDEER LOOK” and he goes viral

•they try to make him dance to edm music HAHA

•chopper loves the attention and lets them take him crowd surfing

•sometimes will end up on a dj’s shoulders and he feels so popular omg

•dj: “if anyone is looking for this reindeer looking thing it’s up here on the main stage and it’s definitely a crowd pleaser!! Might just keep this little guy for myself” and then you hear luffy yell out “ OI LOOK ITS CHOPPER AND HE’S ON tyDI’s SHOULDER”

Under The Fireworks

"We're a bit short on ingredients don't you think so, Sanji?" Luffy's stomach grumbled as cheek was on the table, starving even if he just ate thirty minutes ago.

"Actually yeah now that I think of it you're right luffy," says Sanji behind the counter who was cleaning the plates while the captain was begging for Sanji to cook something. After wiping the last utencil dry, he removed the apron he was wearing and spoke to Luffy. "Do you want to stop by an island to buy up some stuff?" His captain jumped up from his seat and nodded excitedly, he stormed out of the door past you and immediately told Nami to stop by the next island.

"Never drains his energy, that one," you said, standing up from your chair walking alongside the blonde cook out the door. " Keeping the ship lively, gotta appreciate him for being an amazing captain."

"I couldn't agree more Y/N-san," Sanji gave you a bright smile then placed his palm on your back lightly, massaging slow circles with your thumb. He opened the door for you then was immediately greeted by a loud explosion.

"USOPP NO STAY WITH US!" You heard Chopper exclaim when you saw a charcoal black Usopp lying on the ground in front of what looks like another failed contraption. Usopp gestured a weak, shaky 'thumbs up' to ensure everyone he was doing alright, hopefully he was anyways.

Robin was sitting on her usually spot, reading another one of her books. Franky was stacking up on some cola, then Brook was with helping Chopper bring Usopp to his clinic. Zoro was no where to be seen, he is most likely to be in his workout room sculping his muscles like he always does, or either simply snoring off on the deck.

Luffy was sitting on the head of the Sunny, "Looks like Nami already knows where our next drop is," You spoke to Sanji when you realized he already ran off to swoon over Nami again.

Just like any other day.

With nothing to get yourself busy with to pass the time, you wemt with Usopp and Chopper to help fix their contraption. Before you knew it, you were already at the island to buy the supplies, though it was already 8 at night, hoping some of the stores would still be open. From what it looks like, the town is holding a huge festival with a ton of food stals and people dancing around.

"Alright everyone," Nami called out, "we can all go out to the town and buy the supplies we need, and if you'd like, we can spend the night here for a bit, the ship isn't very far from the town anyways." Loud cheers were heard around the ship and Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, and Brook started racing towards the town. Zoro, Franky, and Sanji got down next. The blonde cook assisting Nami and Robin down. You went down the ship last and Sanji also gave you a hand with a genuine smile that reached his eyes. He looked gorgeous as the moon was shining behind him, his blonde locks glimmering.

You snapped out of your train of thought and started going towards the town alongside Nami and Robin. The closer you got to the festival area, the louder the music became. Of course knowing Sanji, he went straight to the girls with hearteyes.

Everyone split up to go around the festival. You saw Luffy hoarding all the meat as Usopp and Chopper participated in the eating competition. Brook started playing loud music on stage, he had quite an audience in front of him. Zoro and Franky were laughing with the townsfolk, a bottle of sake in Zoro's hand and a bottle of cola in Franky's.

You went deeper into the festival you eventually humped into Sanji who seemed like he had a lot on his mind.

"I thought you were with the girls Sanji," you went to sit next to him. You startled him a bit then he sighed to himself when he saw you, "a penny for your thoughts?"

"Oh it's nothing really," he sounded unsure of his words. "Do you uh," he looked down on the ground and ran a hand on the back of his neck, "do you wanna go to this spot up in the mountains? I heard they were going to blast some fireworks later so I was just wondering if you wanted to go there with me. The view would be amazing I swear yo-"

"I'd love to," you cut him off from his on going babbling. He looked at you then stood up, he offered his hand to you, slightly flustered.

"Shall we then?" He said, you took his hand and the both of you immediately started running out of the town. You ran past Nami and you saw her give you a smirk telling you to go for it. Sanji was still holding your hand tightly as you ran towards a forest. You reached a spot at the mountain when you could see the whole town, and it's lights flickering colorfully, and Brook's music was still lightly heard.

"It looks so beautiful," you awed the view in front of you, Sanji gave you a light laugh as you both sat down on the grass. You looked at your hands and did not realize it was still intertwined with Sanji's. He noticed and he pulled away, his cheeks becoming pink.

"They said the fireworks were coming when the clock strikes 12," He broke the awkward silence around you.

"5 minutes left I guess," you spoke "wouldn't be too long."

"Yeah it wouldn't."

Well it did. It was probably the longest 5 minutes of your life. Only 3 minutes have passed you the silence was slowly killing the both of you.

Remembering the smirk Nami gave, you decided to rest your head on his shoulder. He didn't know how to react to this kind affection so he went stiff for a second. Not long after, he calmed down and placed a hand softly on the other side of your head, he then also rested his head on top of yours. No one spoke a word and you could only hear the faint music that was coming from the festival.

The moment was short-lived when you finally saw fireworks appear one after the other. "Sanji look!" You exclaimed, the both of you stood up and admired the lights in the sky. They went on forever, it never ended, you wished it never did, and so did Sanji.

You felt his stare focus on you instead of the fireworks. He watched you look up at the sky, your eyes twinkling in delight.

"Y/N-san", he spoke to, you looked at him and met his gaze, "you look just like a dream, the prettiest girl I have ever seen." Taken aback from what he said, you looked away from him and tried to cover the blood rushing in your face. You heard him laugh lightly at your reaction and soon felt his arms around you. "God, you're so adorable." You still didn't know how to react.

"Y/N." He called you, you looked up at him and he too looked like a dream. With the fireworks around the both of you, it looks like something straight of a film. "I love you so much, you mean the whole universe to me. I can't wait to go to All Blue with you." He brushed your hair with his hand, placing a soft kiss on your forehead.

You didn't even notice the tears running down your face because you were in denial with what the man in front of you just said.

"Wait, did I say something wrong? Y/N-san I'm sorry I-" You cut him off by placing your lips on his. The kiss igniting every nerve in your body as it shot sparks all the way down to your toes, and Sanji felt the same way with you.

"No it's just unbelievable," you confessed to him when the both of you pulled away, his forehead on yours. "I love you too. So much that you're the first thing I think about when I wake up. Sanji, I never want this moment to end."

The blonde showered you with kisses when he couldn't contain his happiness. "Hey that tickles!" You said then the both of you laughed wholeheartedly.

"Can you say that again I just wanna hear it come from your lips again, just one more time," he said, his hand rubbing circles on your back.

"Say what?" You played dumb, he gave you a frown and pouted his lips.

"You already know," he said, tucking your hair behind your ear. "Please."

"I love you, Sanji." You finally said that made his face light up, resulting to another passionate kiss which you gave back to him.

"I love you too."

Eddie and reader graduate together at the end of ‘86

Eddie and reader are a year apart in age, reader repeated a year after all of the upside-down stuff made it hard for her to concentrate on school

Eddie isn’t sure what he wants to do after school aside from the band and reader convinces him to go all in, “babe if you can save an entire town with a guitar solo you can totally sell out a venue”

Reader decides to take a gap year before college because she just wants a break after everything that happened the past few years

Reader accompanies Eddie to rehearsals for a few weeks before she gets a little bored and decided to do what she does best, manage!

She starts by trying to unify their image a little more, listing all the clothing elements they had in common so they could plan more cohesive outfits for gigs

They all have a lot of energy but none of them seem to know quite what to do with that energy on stage, so reader starts working on some basic choreography

She also starts looking at designing a logo for the band, though she has Eddie do most of the drawing

Eventually the band starts getting really good tips and energy from the crowd when they perform but there’s only so much they can do in the middle of Indiana

So reader does some research and suggests that the band moves somewhere that metal is a little more lucrative – San Francisco

They’re a little apprehensive at first, it’s a big commitment and it costs a bit to move more than halfway across the country but reader is so sure this is going to work that they can’t help but believe her

Eddie and reader get an apartment with the rest of the band so that costs are cheaper

Reader manages to book the band a gig in a small venue not long after they get there, she’d made a lot of friends organising gigs closer to Indiana and after quite a few phone calls had managed to gain some contacts in San Francisco

One of the bands corroded coffin opened for on the east coast is running a gig and reader convinces them to give eddies band the spot again – it wasn’t really hard they loved corroded coffin last time

The crowd in San Fran really likes corroded coffin and they get consistent gigs opening for other bands across a few venues

Reader keeps helping the band work on their craft, planning the set lists so that she can choreograph the whole set together

The new strategy really helps the boys, with planned rests letting them keep energy up right to the end of their performances

Eventually corroded coffin begin getting headlining gigs allowing them to save up to start recording their songs

They get signed fairly quickly after the demos are recorded, with eddies charisma and readers careful curation making them a valuable addition to any label

The band manages to barter for a pretty decent contract as reader has already done a lot of the heavy listing a label would do

This contract includes the term they had to fight hardest for, getting to keep reader as manager

The label was certain that they should have a proper industry manager, it would help them do better

but the band absolutely refuses to get rid of reader, they’re a little convinced she's a good luck charm so they, especially Eddie, demand that they keep reader and that she can just get training if the label is that insistent

Reader does end up getting trained and Eddie loves it because it makes it so much easier to bring her with him on roadies when they eventually start touring

Reader and Eddie enjoy touring, but they make sure they get to spend considerable amounts of time in San Fran because that’s where their family is!

Because eventually the whole Hawkins squad ends up in San Francisco for various reasons

The hoppers-byers family goes at the start of the new school year for a few reasons

They decide that Eleven should be able to go to school and that she would raise less suspicion in a big city where not everyone knows each other

Joyce also figures it’s the best move for her sons, knowing it would be best for Will to grow up somewhere more safe and accepting

Eddie runs the hellfire club for Will and his friends once everyone is settled in, he grants official leadership of the Hawkins branch to Dustin in his absence

While Eddie was stoked at the idea of the hellfire club expanding across the country he was happiest when everyone eventually made it to California and they became one group again

Will is actually the groups dungeon master by the time everyone is together again with corroded coffin taking off but Eddie and reader are equally happy to be party members whenever they’re in town

the band has a low intensity campaign they play on the road, rockstars or not they’re all still nerds at heart

Joyce also knows Jonathan would love to follow Nancy if he didn’t feel the need to look after his family, so moving them all to San Francisco means Johnathan doesn’t have to sacrifice anything

Nancy moves in 87’ after scoring a journalism position with the San Francisco chronicle

The exclusive piece she writes solving the sting of homicides in her town the year before grants her enough credit that she’s considered a lucrative potential employee

Johnathan lives with his family for a few years, he does free lance photography for a few newspapers, making more money by being able to sell to multiple bidders

Occasionally he’ll grant Nancy exclusive rights for an article, putting her work that much further ahead of everyone else

Eventually he and Nancy get their own apartment after Nancy gets promoted

The paper makes her lead journalist after she scores an exclusive interview with Eddie about the bands third album tour

With Jonathan being granted exclusive backstage access for concert photos the article is unmatched

Mike begins planning his move to California the moment Will and Eleven tell him they’re leaving

his belongings are packed as early as he possibly can and he leaves the morning after their high school graduation

Mike Will and Eleven get an apartment together though after a while Will is the only one who ends up living there full time

Mike and Eleven are gone most weekends as they make their money as a magic act in Vegas, hopper was apprehensive at first but once he sits in on a performance and realises everyone just thinks they’re illusions he calms down a little

Eleven only uses her powers for some of their tricks to avoid raising too much suspicion – they stuff cotton up her nose to hide any bleeding

Max Dustin and Lucas leave together not long after Mike moves

They were all keen to get away from the dangers of Hawkins, no longer trusting that the upside down and its monsters would stay dormant

Max had missed California since the move to Hawkins and was excited to move back

Lucas was happy to follow max and they both agreed that San Francisco was a better option than LA between getting to stay near their friends and not wanting Lucas to be anywhere near the Los Angeles police

Dustin had no real interest in staying in Hawkins without his friends and San Francisco put him less than a 24-hour drive from Suzie

Eventually Dustin manages to get Suzie to move out of her house, the distance from her dad lessening the religious guilt a little

Dustin and Suzie move out of San Francisco fairly early after they both gain lucrative jobs in Silicon Valley, Dustin with a tech firm and Suzie with the us defence department

They’re both fairly happy that it’s not too far away though as it allows them to take their kids to see all their aunts and uncles very easily

Reader and Eddie love to babysit everybody’s kids especially because they don’t plan to have their own kids, Eddie always comes back from tour with a tiny suitcase full of souvenirs for all his nieces and nephews

Reader was absolutely stoked to see her little brother again; she’d only been gone about a year but phone calls and letters just weren’t the same

Reader convinces Eddie to throw a welcome back party when the last of the kids arrive

They have snacks and alcohol courtesy of Eddie, who also planned a DND one-shot for everyone to play at the party

Dustin is absolutely ecstatic that they had finally convinced max to join in

Robin and Steve leave Hawkins last, wanting to make sure that the kids still in Hawkins always have someone around to look out for them

Robin decides she’s tired of walking on eggshells around the people of Hawkins and the idea of an established community she can be a part of sounds immensely appealing

she convinces Steve to come with her and get an apartment for a few reasons

first of all, she knows Steve wont last 5 minutes without his gaggle of kids to look after; she remembers summer before Dustin came back

second of all, the longer Steve went struggling to find what he wants in a woman the more his feelings sounded very familiar, she figures he might be a little more willing to process those feelings in a more accepting place

corroded coffin play gay bars fairly often and reader invites Steve and Robin to a gig to go drinking once they’re in town

Steve finally comes to the realisation he was bi at one of the corroded coffin album release parties after Eddie gives everyone some party favours to get everyone in the right mood

Eddie, Robin, and reader may be seen exchanging money when Steve starts talking to one of the members of eddies newest opening act

Robin has never been happier to have to make her own breakfast when she realises Steve hadn’t come home the night before

The Wedding Day

Hello everyone!! This is one of my piece for the Sanji fest 2021 hosted by @burnthoneymint​​ I hope you like the story! Thanks for letting me take part in this!

Prompt : “Say something. Are you hurt?”

A/N : I was listening to EXO Kai Amnesia from Mmmh album (clickable) while I wrote this. You can check it out if you want. It got me the feels when I was writing this. (You won’t regret it)

It was the most awaited day. You wore your lavender dress and stood in front of the mirror as you looked at yourself one last time before leaving your apartment. You went to the destination which was the beautiful castle and went inside. You walked to the room allocated for the bridesmaids. Yes you were one of the bridesmaid for one of your dear friend. You greeted the other bridesmaid, Kaya and went to the room of the bride. There stood your beautiful friend. In a non-traditional peach coloured mermaid dress. You went towards her and stood beside her.

“You look beautiful Nami”, you said. She smiled and thanked you. You knew she was nervous. You took her hand in yours and assured her everything is going to be alright. Even though never met her partner (But heard of of course) nor even Nami’s friends, you knew Nami, and she would make the perfect choice. After some encouragement, you left the room.

You were searching for restroom. The castle was so huge and had hallways and so many closed rooms, which was so confusing, like a maze. You searched for a while and went to other side of the castle, where the partner of bride was supposed to be. You went towards that place and saw a person with a straw hat dressed in black tuxedo. Beside him was a person with long nose in the same outfit, stuffing themselves with food. ‘They are eating this early’, you thought. You passed them and went ahead.

While you turned in a corner, you bumped into a tall man dressed in the same black tux, the previous two were wearing. He had wavy black hair, had freckles on his face and was really gorgeous. You apologised, as well as he did and you went ahead. ‘So handsome and polite’, you thought.

‘Where the hell was this bloody washroom?’ you cursed inside your head and somehow at the end of one hallway, you found the washroom. 'Thank god!', you thought as you went towards it. You saw a man in a fine black suit, blond hair with a cigarette in his hand. He was pacing fast and seemed nervous. You walked passed him into the restroom.

After a couple of minutes, you came out of the washroom and saw that this man was still in the same place. Except for the fact that he wasn’t pacing now but, he sat down and placed his right hand on his hair and was mumbling something. ‘What is this man’s deal? So weird’, you thought to yourself and were about to pass him but you heard sobs. You gulped and slowly looked at him. He was sobbing with his big eyes watery. ‘Why was he crying all of a sudden’, you thought. You really wanted to leave but you felt a bit guilty. You sighed and crouched down before him. But you maintained a safe distance from him because you felt like it.

You asked, “Hey! You seem… not okay. is everything alright?” but he continued to sob like a chibi anime character as he looked at you. ‘What was this person’s deal?’, you thought as you questioned again, “Say something. Are you hurt?” this time handing him your kerchief which he accepted and wiped his tears.

“I…”, he said in between his sobs and continued, “I’m scared. I am nervous. This is a big responsibility and Nami san gave me this opportunity but”, he said and wiped his tears again. You continued to listen to him as he sobbed. ‘Why the hell is he so nervous as if he was the groom. Im sure not even the groom would cry like this’, you thought but listened anyway because it seemed interesting.

“I am…”, he continued, “So honoured but… I cant stop this nervousness. I keep getting these negative thoughts like ‘What if I mess up’ or ‘What if I don’t do it properly’ or 'what if Nami san thinks she made the wrong decision', so I am crying like this in front a beautiful bridesmaid”, he said as he again started to sob as he placed his hands on his face. ‘Oh, he said I was beautiful!’, you felt happy in your heart but didn’t let it show on your face.

“See, look at me”, you said and he slowly looked at you. You looked into his blue eyes and said, “Listen to me. You can do it. Don’t worry. Believe in yourself. You won’t mess up. Follow your heart. Be positive. See, I never met you. I never saw you. But I believe in you. So don’t worry.”

You rambled those words in a way to cheer him up and thankfully, he kinda took those words seriously and flashed you a smile. He got up and offered you his hand. You took it and got up. He thanked you as he bowed. You waved at him and walked to the Nami's room. Thankfully not getting lost. There you saw a raven haired beauty, who wasn’t there when you got here.

“Hello mademoiselle, I am Y/N, can I know your name”, you said as you offered her your hand. She giggled as she placed her hand in yours and replied, “Robin”

“Such a beautiful name for a beautiful woman”, you said and everyone in the room laughed. You looked around confused and the maid of honour, Nojiko said, “You are just like Sanji, the ladies man”

‘Who was that Sanji the ladies man? Why did they tell, I was like him?’, you thought

“By the way, where were you all this time?”, asked Kaya

“I was looking for restroom. Damn it was so far away. I’m happy I didn’t get lost”, you complained.

“But… there is a restroom right here”, said Robin chan as she pointed towards a door inside the room.

“And also in the bridesmaids room”, said Nojiko.

"And also literally in every single hallway", added Kaya.

Your eyes and mouth were wide open as they said that. “I..What…but...”, you tried to say something but ended with, “Damn it”, everyone in the room laughed again as you lowered your head in defeat.

Finally it was the time of the wedding. After Kaya, walked with a man with long nose. Then you and the man with freckles whom you bumped into before offered his arm to you. 'Ahh! The handsome man!', you thought as you both linked your arms. He smiled at you and you both walked down the aisle.

Then you saw a familiar face in the centre of the place with droopy shoulders. ‘That cry baby blond is here’, you thought. He looked at you and smiled. You smiled back as you straightened your back. He got your indication and straightened his shoulders and nodded at you. ‘Damn that was cute’, you thought. Then came the beautiful Robin chan, with the man still wearing his straw hat.

You took a deep breath and turned as you looked at the blond. He was biting his lower lip with stress. He noticed your stare and looked at you. You smiled as you gave him a thumbs up. He nodded and you both looked at the maid of honour, Nojiko and the man of honour, who had green hair come in.

Nojiko stood beside Robin and said, “Zoro almost got lost for the third time”. For which Robin replied with a giggle. ‘Her laugh is so precious’, you thought. Then the music started to play. Everyone stood up and looked at the door.

There she came, in her beautiful, traditional, pearl white princess dress. Her veil covering her face and she held the beautiful Gloxinia flowers, which was so unique. She was so beautiful. You smiled as she came slowly and stood before the blond.

“So that is Vivi, so beautiful”, you said as she turned to look towards the door. Then came your friend, in her non-traditional peach mermaid dress, with her veil back on her beautiful hair as she held the pretty baby romantica roses which you selected for her. You really were touched at how she valued your opinion for this. You were so happy for her getting married. She came and stood beside the other beautiful bride Vivi.

You and the blond looked at each other one last time and he started to officiate the wedding. Nami and Vivi said their vows. They were so perfect for each other and loved one other to the core. You wished you could find a person who would love you unconditionally. They both exchanged rings. The blond wiped the corner of his eye with the kerchief you gave and said, “I declare you as wife and wife, you both may now kiss”.

Then the both brides kissed and walked together as the music was played by a famous musician named Brook. You tried not to cry at the moment. Everything in this wedding was so precious and emotional that you were trying so hard not to cry. After taking photos and congratulating them, then came the main event. The bouquet toss.

You stood a bit far, from the crowd and tried to calm yourself and not to cry. You looked as the flower bouquet came towards you. As if it was a reflex, you caught the bouquet. It was the Gloxinia flowers bouquet, which Vivi held. As if that was a snap, you couldn’t control your emotions and started to cry. You walked and stood a bit farther and looked at the pretty flowers. The blond officiant saw that you were crying and started to walk towards you. The second bouquet of baby romantic roses was thrown and you looked at the flying bouquet as it landed in the arms of a person. You looked and now started to laugh. The blond officiant caught the bouquet and everyone started to laugh at it. Well, it was a refreshment for you as well as the people in the wedding, 'cause everyone remembers a good laugh.

Then the next event was where everyone danced. You calmed yourself down and stopped crying. This wedding was very overwhelming for you and you loved it. You sat at a table alone as people danced with one other. You looked at your flowers and smiled as you touched their soft petals.

“Would you like to dance with me, milady”, asked a familiar voice. You turned around and saw that it was the blond officiant. You smiled at him and said, “I am not a good dancer though. You may want to dance with someone else”

He smiled and said, “I can… lead you though. It would be an honour for me to dance with you milady”. Then he offered his hand to you. You couldn’t say no to that sweet request so, you took his hand and got up. He gently placed his hand on your waist and started to lead you. Even when you stamped his foot a few times, he just smiled but didn’t complain. You liked how gentle he was with you. He had a rose flower in his tuxedo pocket, which was from the bouquet he caught earlier.

“The bouquet symbolises the good fortune for the people who caught it”, you say as you carefully touch his rose.

“I didn’t believe these kind of stuff but, here I am, dancing with the most beautiful bridesmaid, so i guess its true after all”, he replied as he looked at you. You blushed as you slightly tapped his shoulder and said, “Cheesy aren’t you” to which he said, “It’s just a spoon of it. If you spend time with me, you’ll get to know how much more cheesy I can be”, he said confidently. You really liked this confident side of his. So contrast to him crying in the hallway.

"Very confident huh. So would you like me to think of you as the cry baby officiant or would you tell me your name”, you said for which he pouted and replied, “That’s not true...totally.... Well, the name is Sanji, milady”

“Oh! So… Sanji, the ladies’ man”, you said and he scoffed.

“I wish”, he sighed then continued, “So, do you want me to think of you as the beautiful bridesmaid or would you give me your name”

“You know what, I kinda like it when you say that I’m beautiful. So, why not stick with that”, you replied making him whine. He of course continued to laugh with you though.

“Y/N, the name is Y/N, so stop whining”, you said to him making his face glow with happiness.

“Y/N, such a beautiful name for a beautiful lady”, he said, which made you realise why the girls compared to you two before.

You both talked as you danced and then exchanged your phone numbers. You smiled thinking of how you got into this.

You both really were into each other from the beginning itself. Fate was so... Unpredicted. It can bring two individuals together at one place, make them fall in love.

‘Who would have thought that the cry baby weirdo would become your husband in 3 years from now’

The Gloxinia flowers were mentioned by @nakunakunomi​  in her valentines event where she wrote for Sanji (Clickable) you can also see how the flowers look, in her post. I really loved the flower she mentioned and its meaning was hella romantic. I just felt like there were a lot of flowers other than Red roses and Lilies. Of couse they are beautiful, but we need to explore and look at different types of flowers too.

If you are wondering what Baby romantica flowers look like here, I took these image from google. I just fell in love with these roses and they have been in my favourites from a long time. Their name itself is so romantic and they look precious.

Beauty (What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?)

Luffy isn’t one who cares for physical appearances too much. He doesn’t have any physical preferences. He loves you for you. Height? Weight? Strength? He doesn’t care! Be yourself. That’s all he would want. Luffy instead would find his your character and personality beautiful. Whether it’s your intelligence or kindness, or the jokes you make or how hardworking you are. Luffy would find it beautiful.

Jealousy (Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?)

Luffy usually does not get jealous easily. He trusts both you and his crew enough to know none of you would try to betray him. The crew respect your relationship so whenever the two of you want to be alone, they will leave you be.

The only time Luffy might feel a little jealous is if he’s feeling especially clingy one day, however you’re too busy to spend any time with him. He’ll end up complaining and whining about it the entire time because he wants to spend some time with you.

On Cloud Nine (What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?)

When Luffy is in love, he tends to be more direct about it. Luffy is very expressive about his feelings, so the crew will notice right away (except maybe Chopper) he has a crush on you. He’ll say little things that’ll make your heart race such as “I love spending time with you” or “You make me feel happy”. He doesn’t really understand the concept of personal space so expect a lot of surprise hugs. He’ll be a lot more clingy than usual.

One way of showing how much Luffy treasures you is by giving you his hat. He loves putting it on you, especially when you feel upset at times. It’s his way of showing everything is going to be okay. Luffy would also let you sit on his special spot on the Thousand Sunny’s head with him. The two of you would talk and cuddle for hours. It’s one of his favourite activities with you.

Yearning (How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?)

During the two year training period, Luffy missed you and the rest of the crew a lot. He would often cope by telling Rayleigh stories about the adventures he’s had with his crew since the beginning. Luffy often found himself talking about you for hours.

His mind also traced back to you often whenever he was training. You were his motivation. He wanted to get stronger so he could protect you.
