(and a few others but I was too young to remember.) The musicals I've seen online are Newsies (duh), Dear Evan Hansen, Heathers, The Prom, West Side Story, If/Then, Lempicka, Falsettos, Great Gatsby, Bandstand, Waitress, Legally Blonde, Bonnie and Clyde, 21 Chump Street, Ordinary Days, The Last 5 Years, In the Heights, the Mean Girls movie musical (the actual musical is next on my list) and Tick... Tick... Boom!

I also love The Violet Hour, In the Light, In Pieces, and Warriors (these are all musical concept albums you should go listen to)

6. What's something you have in common with this character?

genuine fascination with death, if my dream to work in the arts never works out, my plan B is mortician, life is ever fleeting and we are all simply millions of people together on a round ball that is simply a tiny piece of a huge solar system so I say we all just hold hands and frolic through flowers together

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

For Shrignold, I really love when people characterize them as some messed up Disney princess, I’d definitely associate my own version with Pearl from the 2022 horror movie of the same name and since this is also relevant I associate Coffin with Maxine from X/Maxxxine (if you guys are willing to listen to my post about Coffin and Shrignold dynamic omg)

And for Sketchbook, I honestly love a lot of the human designs that have their body made of oil/ink, I think it’s such a cool visual, people also do this with Lamp and it’s just as cool there…

god. everything about anya and dmitry is my favorite. pointing to All of them. but for the sake of the ask game and for wordcount, here are just five things as requested:

they are the same. birds of a feather, two sides of the same coin, cut from the same cloth, etc etc etc. the mirror hurts. they are deeply angry and temperamental and stubborn, they had their childhoods stolen from them too early, they are hopeful to a fault, they have to be Right and have to have the last word, they act tougher than they are, they are longing for home love family. they just want to belong to someone. they are orphans who have lost everything but are still kicking and screaming because dammit if life hasn't killed them yet they might as well keep going!

trust is so hard. but god, they trust each other so much it should scare them.

they learn from each other!!!!! anya says she admires the way dmitry's proud of who is is, 'and you taught me to be the same.' dmitry started believing he deserved love and happiness, too. and more.

for me, you can never. ever. go wrong with a conman and princess dynamic. the drama. the class awareness. the longing for something you aren't even allowed to long for. 'i can't be in love with someone i can't have for the rest of my life.' an absolute classic. dimya does it So Perfectly, i've yet to need a different ship to scratch this itch since 2017.

3 Random Facts About Me:

Newsies is my favorite musical! (The 2017 proshot specifically, but I love the 1992 movie too!) I watched them both for the first time 2 years ago this week, so I'm feeling extra gushy about it lately lol.

My first Broadway show was The Great Gatsby and it was incredible! I loved it so much! (It's actually the only Broadway show I've gotten to see so far, but I hope I get to add more shows to the list some day!)

I have a stage-used cast that Anthony Norman wore as Evan Hansen on the US tour of Dear Evan Hansen! Very long story short, he gave it to me at stage door afterwards and he was so lovely! (He was amazing as Evan, too!)

I am terrible at choosing favorites so I have qualifiers lol sorry for the long post.

If we're talking movie musical I am afraid I am a basic bitch and I have to go with Mamma Mia. I love Abba. I love Meryl Streep. I love Cher (and she's in the sequel). Those movies have more holes than swiss cheese but they are FUN. Just so. Much. Fun.

My favorite musical that I've ever seen on stage... it is a tie. There's "The Cher Show," which was a limited run on Broadway but their use of costuming and the arrangements of Cher's songs were incredible. I highly reccomend the cast recording. Again, super fun show. I WISH it would come back, I'd see it a dozen more times if I could.

The other show is "Anything Goes" with Sutton Foster and Joel Grey. First off, great show. Sutton Foster is a freaking powerhouse of song and dance. Every song in that show is a banger. The plot is ridiculous and hilarious and there's huge tap numbers (I am a sucker for a huge tap number). But also to see that one it was an adventure, involving a 15-hour day in NYC in 20 degree weather with no money and inappropriate shoes (this was 12ish years ago). My best friend and I sang Christmas carols outside the theater to keep warm. Afrer all of that, our tickets were standingroom only so we stood for 3 hours. All worth it. Amazing.

My favorite musical television series is Galavant. If you can find it, watch it. Such a funny smart show with great celebrity guest stars. It makes fun of Disney but Disney composer Alan Menken did the score. Weird Al worked on it too.

Finally, the musical albumn that I've probably listened fo front-to-back most is the original cast recording of Wicked. I have sung "Popular" hundreds of times. I did see an off broadway stage production of it but it was so-so. Still love the music!

I LOVE musicals. Someday I'll finish my FFVIII Musical...

Top 5 Jeremy Stolle performances!!!!

I’m telling you now, these are going to look very similar to @brendadaaedestler’s answers, we watch basically all bootlegs together and have very similar tastes 😂

1. Jeremy Stolle, Julia Udine, Paul A. Schaefer - March 20, 2023 (bootleg is not public, so I can’t provide a link, I’m sorry!) - I was not present at this show, but @brendadaaedestler was, meaning I heard all about it. There were some hiccups in the show (ie. some tech breakdowns in first lair), but Jeremy handled it with such grace, as always, and he made some choices that I love that he hadn’t made in a LONG time. Just a fantastic performance.

2. The Stolleboot, courtesy of @cowardtranslation - this is a beautiful creation with Jeremy Stolle in every role that he has ever played. It’s perfection, he really carried that show, let me tell you.

3. Jeremy Stolle, Emilie Kouatchou, John Riddle - 2021 - top-tier cast. Emilie may not be my favourite of the closing Christine’s (which isn’t saying a ton, I still love her portrayal), but she was just magnificent with Jeremy, who, as always, gave a brilliant performance. Again, not a public bootleg, so I can’t link it.

4. Jeremy Stolle, Emilie Kouatchou, Jordan Danica - 2022 - this bootleg gave birth to bald Jeremy, as seen here. That’s enough for me to love it.

5. I’m using this audio for this, but any recent performance with Jeremy and Elizabeth Welch over the period that they’ve been dating. The chemistry is just out of this world.

Baby- Do they have any nicknames that people give them while regressed?

You bet! Christine gives pet names like petals from flowers: sweet boy, sweetheart, dear heart, darling one. Erik takes a while to accept them but they help him so much with his regression and making him feel so loved every minute of small-time

Caregiver- Do they have a caregiver? Do they want one?

I always enjoy Erik & Christine content, but I think there's a space for Doroga & Erik content in a more book-inspired world, and space for Mme. Giry with a very young, just-out-of-circus regressor!Erik in a more musical-inspired fanfiction!

Play- When regressed do they play? What do they play as?

He's often more interested in making art, playing music, or exploring spaces, but he does like to act out scenes from operas or novels with dolls. He tends to spend more time making the sets and dresses out of scraps and paper than he does actually acting anything out with, them though.

Xxx- How do they show their love and affection to people when they're regressed?

Erik is an affectionate little one, when he's feeling well and happy. He cuddles, he pushes his face at Christine until she gives him kisses on his cheeks, he sits beside Christine and curls up to fit under her arm. When he's in a darker regression, he doesn't experience much love and affection through the fear that he's been conditioned to feel. Just letting Christine be in the same room as him is a huge show of trust when he's struggling.
