NanoDefense Pro: A Game-Changer for Skin and Nail Health
I've been struggling with brittle nails and dry skin for years. I've tried countless lotions, potions, and even salon treatments, but nothing seemed to work for long. Then, I came across NanoDefense Pro, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer!
What is NanoDefense Pro?
NanoDefense Pro is a topical solution that uses nanotechnology to deliver a powerful blend of ingredients deep into the skin and nails. These ingredients, including nano-silver, nano-curcumin, and nano-quercetin, are known for their anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antioxidant properties.
How Does NanoDefense Pro Work?
The key to NanoDefense Pro's effectiveness is its use of nanotechnology. Nanoparticles are particles that are thousands of times smaller than a human hair. This allows them to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and nails, where they can work their magic.
My Experience with NanoDefense Pro
I started using NanoDefense Pro a few weeks ago, and I'm already seeing a noticeable difference. My nails are stronger and less likely to break. My skin is also softer, smoother, and more hydrated. I'm even starting to see a reduction in the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes.
What I Love About NanoDefense Pro
There are a few things I particularly love about NanoDefense Pro:
It's easy to use. I simply apply a few drops of the solution to the affected area twice a day.
It's all-natural. NanoDefense Pro is made with natural ingredients that are safe for all skin types.
It's affordable. Compared to other nail and skin treatments, NanoDefense Pro is very affordable.
It works! I've finally found a product that delivers on its promises.
Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with NanoDefense Pro. It's a safe, effective, and affordable way to improve the health and appearance of your skin and nails. If you're struggling with any skin or nail concerns, I highly recommend giving NanoDefense Pro a try.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
It is important to use NanoDefense Pro as directed.
While NanoDefense Pro is safe for most people, it is always a good idea to consult with your doctor before using any new product, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.
The results of NanoDefense Pro may vary from person to person.
I hope this blog post has been helpful. If you have any questions about NanoDefense Pro, please feel free to leave a comment below.

Visible Improvements in Strength and Growth
Within a few weeks of taking ProNail Complex daily, I started noticing a positive change. My nails felt noticeably stronger and less prone to breakage. They were also growing faster, allowing me to maintain a longer length without chipping or peeling.
This newfound strength and growth were a game-changer. I could finally experiment with different nail polish colors and styles without worrying about them breaking or looking unsightly. It was a small thing, but it made a big difference in my confidence.

Beyond the aesthetic benefits, ProNail Complex also contributed to the overall health of my nails. The ridges and unevenness that I used to struggle with diminished significantly. My nails looked smoother and healthier, adding a touch of polish to my overall appearance.
Convenient Daily Dosage
ProNail Complex comes in easy-to-swallow capsules. The recommended dosage is just two capsules a day, making it a simple addition to my daily routine. I never forget to take them, and the capsules are small and easy to swallow.

Maid for it
“Another day, another mess.” Issy muttered, pushing the door open and stepping into the dim, stale air of the nightclub. Sammy followed close behind, tying her graying hair into a loose bun.
“I don’t know how they do it.” Sammy said, squinting at the leftover chaos. Empty glasses, glittering confetti, and half-crushed cans scattered across the sleek floors. “Every weekend, they come in here acting like they own the place. No respect for anything but themselves.”
Issy snorted, picking up a crumpled cocktail napkin. “The youth of today. They think the world revolves around them. Everything’s a selfie, a status update.”
“Right? Did you see that girl last week when we were on the night shift, the one in the sparkly dress? Spent more time filming herself than dancing.” Sammy shook her head, grabbing the mop.
“Remember when we used to go out? Actually had fun without needing an audience.” Issy said grabbing a trash bag.
Sammy smiled. “Good times, Issy. Good times.”
Issy looked around the club, hands on her hips. “So, where should we start?”
Sammy, already eyeing the far end of the room, groaned. “We should flip for the bathrooms. You know they’re always the worst. I swear, they must turn into animals in there after midnight.”
Issy pulled a coin from her pocket, holding it up with a smirk. “Heads, you do the bathrooms. Tails, I’ll take the hit.”
Issy flicked the coin into the air. It spun, catching the dim light, before landing in her palm. She peeked and grimaced. “Tails. Dammit.”
Sammy chuckled. “Good luck in there. I’ll take the bar.”
With a sigh, Issy grabbed her cleaning supplies and headed toward the bathrooms. The door to the ladies’ restroom creaked open, revealing the usual chaos. Loose makeup smeared across the countertops, lipsticks rolling about, and a few forgotten articles of clothing thrown haphazardly on the floor.
“Same old, same old.” She muttered, shaking her head. As she wiped down the counter, something caught her eye. There, lying next to an abandoned sequined purse, was a black wig.
Issy barely had time to blink before the black wig sprang to life, leaping from her hands and onto her face. “What the hell—!” She gasped, stumbling backward as it crawled across her skin like a living thing.
The wig slithered up her cheeks and over her eyes, settling firmly on top of her head. She reached up to tear it off, but just as her fingers touched the strands, a sharp, sudden pain pierced her scalp, like dozens of tiny needles burrowing in.
“Ow!” Issy yelped, frantically tugging at the wig, but it was on tight, as if fused to her head. Her hands shook, and as the seconds passed, a strange warmth spread through her body. Subtle at first but soon, it grew into an intense heat, like something was shifting beneath her skin.
She stumbled toward the mirror and froze. Her wrinkled skin, the creases she had grown accustomed to over the years, began to smooth out. The sagging around her chin and eyes lifted, disappearing before her eyes. Her body shrank, her waist narrowing, her arms slimming.
Her breath caught in her throat. “What... what’s happening to me?” She whispered, her voice sounding younger, sharper.
Issy stood frozen in front of the mirror as the transformation continued. Her chest began to swell, her old bra straining as her tits grew larger, fuller, and perkier. The sight made her gasp, her hands instinctively moving to her chest, feeling the unfamiliar weight.
“Oh my god.” She groaned as her hands grasped her new sensitive boobs.
Her lips plumped next, slowly puffing out until they were full and glossy, as if she'd just had an expensive treatment. Her fingers twitched as her nails elongated into perfectly manicured, polished claws, no longer the brittle, chipped things she had grown used to. Every detail, every change, unfolded right before her eyes in the bathroom mirror.
At first, her mind raced in panic. “This isn’t right! What’s happening to me?” She could barely recognize herself. Her body was no longer that of a middle-aged woman, but something else entirely. A younger version of herself, but not even that. This version of her was more idealized, almost like one of the women she’d see strutting around the nightclub, basking in attention.
“This... feels kind of... good.” She murmured, a smile creeping across her face.
Issy’s smile widened into a full, self-satisfied smirk as she admired her reflection. She couldn’t stop staring and why would she? She was perfect. Her body was flawless, every curve exactly where it should be, her skin glowing like it had been airbrushed. Her lips curled as she traced a finger along her jawline.
“God, I’m gorgeous.” She purred, the words tasting sweet on her tongue. She tilted her head, catching the light just right, and let out a soft laugh. “No wonder those girls spend all night taking photos. If I looked like this every day, I’d never stop looking at myself.”
Her eyes gleamed as she adjusted her stance, taking on a more bratty posture. “How could anyone not be obsessed with me?” She purred, running her hands over her hips, admiring the perfect hourglass figure staring back at her. She turned, posing, admiring herself from every angle.
Now, she felt invincible, untouchable. No one could match her. Not even the sluts she cleaned up after. “I’m better than them. Better than everyone.”
Issy’s breath caught in her throat as the words echoed in her mind. “Better than everyone.” She repeated slower, taking in the gravity of the statement, the condescension of the words. She blinked, suddenly horrified by the vanity consuming her.
“What am I saying?” She whispered, shaking her head as if to clear her thoughts. This wasn’t her. She wasn’t like those girls, shallow and self-absorbed. She was… a good person, wasn’t she?
“No!” She muttered, forcing herself to look away from the mirror. Her hands shot up to her head, fingers gripping the wig. She tugged, trying to pull it off, but it wouldn’t budge. Instead, a tingling sensation crept across her skin as the hair started to defend itself by hitting her with more changes.
Her maid’s uniform tightened around her body, the fabric hugging every new curve as it shrank higher and higher, separating at the middle. The bottom part morphed into a slick, black leather skirt, clinging to her like a second skin.
The top part relaxed and in fact became bigger, becoming a luxurious and decadent, fur coat draping over her shoulders. Her sensible work bra followed in her new skirts footsteps by turning into a tight leather tube top.
Issy’s hands dropped from her head and ran over the leather, feeling the smooth texture, her fingers grazing the fur. “It’s perfect.” She said, her bratty tone returning and a smirk creeping back onto her face despite herself. She twirled, watching the coat flare out.
She looked better than any girl she had seen walk in or out of that club and the feeling was intoxicating. She knew could any wan eating out of the palm of her hand with just a look. As a maid she was invisible, but looking the way she did now who could ignore her?
And yet there was still a voice in the back of her head urging her, begging her to rip the hair off. The hair was giving her a body to die for but it was also making her more conceited and vain.
“No! This isn’t right! Ohhhh fuck but it feels sooo good! No I have to end it before it’s too late.@ she groaned.
Using what resistance she still had in her, she reached up and grabbed the hair in her hands. Her pretty nailed fingers wrapping around as many strands as possible. With one big tug she hoped it could at least come a little loose but the hair had one last card to play.
All at once Issy felt a surge of heat flow to her pussy and she felt it tighten to an extreme she didn’t know was possible. The very act was making her cum like never before, her eyes rolling into the back of her head.
“Ohhhhh goddddd yessss!” She moaned loudly. Images of hot guys railing her in the very bathroom she was in filled her mind and made her cum again. She pictures herself strutting through the club like it was a buffet, choosing any man she wanted. She would be the best sec they ever had and she would make sure they spoilt her as rotten as her soul.
“Why fight it?” The thought slithered into her mind like an invader she couldn’t argue with. “I deserve this.”
Issy’s eyes rolled back to normal but there was a change instantly in them. They were no longer soft and caring eyes, instead they sparkled with spoilt narcissism. She stared at her reflection, the smirk growing wider, her eyes gleaming with pride. “Of course I fucking deserve this.” She said, the words slipping out effortlessly. She felt a surge of power, a thrill that coursed through her veins.
“I’m never going back to being some fucking loser maid again.” She declared, her voice full of conviction. The memory of her old self, ordinary and invisible, was pathetic. She sneered at the thought.
The bathroom door creaked open, and Sammy’s voice echoed off the tiles. “Issy, are you ok in here? I heard a moan of pain.” She called, her tone impatient. But as she stepped inside, she froze, her eyes going wide. “What the hell…?”
Standing in front of the mirror was a woman Sammy barely recognized. Issy, or at least what was left of her, turned slowly with a bored expression. “Relax loser, haven't you ever seen perfection before. Of course you haven’t just look at you.” She drawled, rolling her eyes.
Sammy’s jaw dropped as Issy picked up a glittering sequin bag from the counter. Unzipping it, she pulled out a thick wad of cash, a grin spreading across her face. “Look at this, my day just keeps getting better.” Issy purred.
Sammy stepped forward, her voice shaking. “Issy I don't know what happened to you, but you can't keep that cash and we need to get you help to reverse whatever the hell happened to you!”
Issy scoffed, flipping through the cash. She playfully put it up to her face like it was a telephone. “Hello police? Yes my friend put on a sexy black wig and turned in to the hottest bitch I've ever seen. Get real loser, even if there was a way to reverse this why the fuck would I want to go back to that pathetic loser I was?”
Sammy grabbed her by the arm. “Because this isn't you, Issy.”
Issy yanked her arm free, her eyes flashing. “You're right, I'm not Issy anymore. That weak, invisible woman is dead. I’m Bella now. And Bella gets everything she wants.”
Sammy’s heart raced as she backed away, her eyes darting between Bella and the door. “I’m going to find help. We’ll figure out how to take that wig off, Issy, I swear.” she said, her voice firm but shaking.
Just as Sammy reached for the door, Bella moved with lightning speed, slamming it shut with a loud bang. Sammy froze, staring at her in disbelief. “What are you doing?” She asked, fear creeping into her voice.
Bella leaned in, her eyes gleaming with a dark, twisted delight. “I can’t have anyone knowing about my wonderfully evil hair now can I? So, you’re just going to have to join me… Samantha.” She said slowly, her voice dripping with malice.
Sammy flinched at the sound of her full name, her body tensing as Bella ran her hands through her long luxurious hair, pulling thick chunks from her head that seemed to instantly regenerate. Without effort she twisted the clumps it into a sleek ponytail. Before Sammy could react, Bella flung it at her.
“No!” Sammy shrieked, trying to duck away, but the hair came to life midair, writhing and twisting like a serpent. It latched onto her arm, tightening with terrifying strength. Sammy gasped, frantically tugging at it, but the hair slithered up her arm, relentless, heading straight for her head.
“Get it off me!” She cried, her voice desperate. But Bella only smiled, cold and sinister.
“Don’t fight it, Samantha. You’ll love being a hawt bitch.” Bella purred.
Bella stood back, her arms crossed, watching with gleeful anticipation as the living hair slithered up Sammy’s arm and latched onto her head. Sammy let out a muffled scream, clawing at the strands as they dug into her scalp, but it was no use. The transformation had already begun.
Bella’s grin widened as she saw Sammy’s body start to change. Her chest swelled, her boobs growing fuller and rounder, the fabric of her cleaning uniform tightening around her frame. Sammy’s lips plumped next, growing into a pouty, perfect shape as if they had been touched by a masterful surgeon, designed to be prefect for dick sucking. Her wrinkles faded before Bella's eyes, years melting off her face as her skin smoothed into a flawless, youthful complexion.
Sammy’s body slimmed and reshaped, her figure becoming athletic and toned, curves in all the right places. Her old exhausted, middle-aged self was disappearing by the second. Bella felt a surge of satisfaction and pride watching the transformation unfold, seeing Sammy’s resistance fade.
Sammy’s eyes, once wide with panic, began to dull, her expression shifting from fear to something colder, more detached. Her lips, once trembling, now settled into a perfect, pouty smirk.
Sammy’s maid outfit began to shift, the fabric tightening and shrinking against her changing body. Her uniform morphed, the dull cloth replaced by sleek black leather that hugged her hips, forming a short, revealing skirt. Her top dissolved into a thin black string bra that left little to the imagination, her big tits barely being held by it.
A shiny black puffer coat materialized around her shoulders, draping loosely and adding a seductive edge to the ensemble.
Bella grinned in approval. “Now that’s more like it. Doesn’t that feel better, Samantha?”
Samantha turned to the mirror, her new reflection staring back with cold confidence. She ran her hands over her curves, admiring how her new clothes showed off her perfectly tight new body.
She turned to Bella, her eyes gleaming with approval. She took the cash from her friend’s hand and held it up to her face, mirroring the fake phone call Bella had done earlier. "Hello police? I want to report a crime. The crime of looking oh being a bad bitch." She said sticking her tongue out playfully.
“Thanks babe. You were right, I do love being a hawt bitch. I was meant to be this beautiful.” Samantha said, handing the cash back to Bella she turned back to her reflection. Bella sadled up next to her and the two beauties primped and admired themselves. Samantha grinned pushing her tits out at her reflection.
“We’re going to have so much fun. Imagine the broken hearts we’ll leave behind, the envious bitches watching us, desperate to keep up. We’ll show all those poser girls what it really means to be spoiled brats.” Bella said, her voice dripping with satisfaction.
Samantha chuckled, tossing her hair back. “They’ll hate us, but they’ll wish they were us.”
Bella nodded. "Of course but they never will be because we were maid for this."

i am so sorry to be bothering you abt this but
If you've dealt with the hair loss of 4norexia how did you deal with it
(I spent years caring abt my hair and I kinda don't want it to fall out-)
don't worry, you're not bothering me at all!! i've never personally dealt with hair loss but i do have a list of things that's said to prevent it, keep in mind that this is just what i've found through research and what i've heard works and may not be 100% true :)
Supplements
Vitamin A- produces sebum which is a natural oil that keeps the hair from becoming brittle and dry by moisturizing the scalp helps promote cell/hair growth, improves blood circulation to the scalp which brings oxygen and nutrients to the roots, helps repair damaged hair, helps protect the hair from UV rays and environmental pollution
Vitamin B7/Biotin- essential for the production of keratin which is a protein that makes up hair as well as skin and nails
Vitamin B9/Folic acid- also helps produce keratin, helps renew and grow hair follicles, helps create red blood cells that carry oxygen and nutrients to the hair, helps distribute nutrients throughout the body which can make the hair look shinier and stronger
Vitamin B12- produces red blood cells that carry oxygen to hair follicles, metabolizes amino acids which are fundamental to hair health, stimulates hair follicles to produce healthy strands of hair, prevents breakage and strengthens hair strands due to quicker cell division; producing stronger cells
Vitamin C- helps produce collagen which supports hair follicles and strengthens hair, helps absorb iron, prevents dihydrotestosterone which is a hormone that could possibly cause hair loss, helps reduce dandruff and itchy scalp due to vitamin C having antibacterial and antiviral properties, and can help improve the outer cuticles alignment which makes the hair shinier and more vibrant (if applied to the hair, i believe the last two won't work if taken orally)
Vitamin D- helps create new hair follicles which are the pores that hair grows from, signals the anagen phase by interacting with hair follicles which produces thicker hair
Vitamin E- has antioxidant properties that help reduce oxidative stress that contributes to hair loss due to damaged hair follicles, creates a protective layer that locks in moisture and prevents dandruff, helps balance the scalps oil production by soothing the oil glands, helps unclog hair follicles, can help prevent damage to hair ends, can increase blood flow to the scalp which keeps it nourished and hydrated
Iron- helps produce hemoglobin which is a protein in red blood cells that carry oxygen to hair follicles
Zinc- helps maintain the hair follicles structure, it's involved in DNA and RNA production which is important for cell division, regulates keratin production, helps maintain oil glands around hair follicles which keeps the hair looking shiny, aids collagen formation; giving the hair strength and bounce
Collagen- a protein that surrounds each strand of hair, helps grow thicker and stronger hair by strengthening the follicles, gives hair volume and retains moisture, helps manage elasticity which makes it less likely to become brittle and damaged, can help treat brittle and dry hair and repair split ends, promotes scalp health which promotes healthy hair growth
Omega 3- a fatty acid, nourishes hair, prevents inflammation in hair follicles, improves circulation in the scalp, may help with thinning hair and dryness
Lifestyle
Manage stress by meditating, journaling, talking to friends/family, etc
Wear a hat and/or use UV-protectant products on your hair and scalp when going outside
Be gentle with your hair while brushing or combing, use a detangler
Avoid harsh treatments on your hair like dyes, curling/straightening, heat, etc. If you do plan to curl/straighten/blowdry your hair then use heat protectant
Choose loose hairstyles over tight ones that pull on your hair
Take care of your scalp by keeping it clean, gently massage in shampoo with your fingers or use a scalp massager
Eat more protein
Use a silk or satin pillowcase to prevent breakage due to friction, tangling, and pulling
Use essential oils on your hair, mix a few drops with a carrier oil like almond, olive, coconut, or jojoba oil, massage the mixture into your scalp and ends if you choose, leave it in for 5-10 minutes or rinse immediately, repeat 2-3 times a week.
Rosemary Oil- may promote new hair growth and slow hair loss
Chamomile Oil- may calm an irritated scalp, promote hair growth, and reduce dandruff
Peppermint Oil- may help with hair thickness and growth
Tea Tree Oil- may help make hair healthier and remove dandruff

Wednesday: Enid, did you know that hair and nails don't rot once you're dead? They're made of keratin, a very resistant protein, so they're the last things to degrade. So, when you die, your skin and bones decompose, but your hair and nails only degrade slowly until there's almost nothing left. You might be just bones and worms, but your hair is still there, dry and brittle over time. Enid: First, eww. Second, why are you telling me this? Why are you torturing me like this? And third, I definitely need to buy more hair treatments.

Nail Care Routine
Introduction to Nail Care
Nail care is an often-overlooked aspect of personal grooming that plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health and appearance. Proper nail care not only enhances the aesthetics of your hands and feet but also prevents various nail-related issues. Establishing a comprehensive nail care routine can significantly improve the health and strength of your nails, ensuring they remain resilient and visually appealing.
Importance of Regular Nail Maintenance
Regular nail maintenance is essential to prevent common issues such as hangnails, fungal infections, and breakage. A consistent nail care routine can keep your nails clean, strong, and free from infections, ultimately reflecting your overall health. Neglecting nail care can lead to painful conditions that may require medical attention and can impact your daily activities.
Essential Tools for Nail Care
Basic Tools
The foundation of any effective nail care routine lies in the tools you use. Basic tools include nail clippers, a nail file, a buffer, and a cuticle pusher. These tools are essential for maintaining the shape, length, and smoothness of your nails.
Specialized Tools
For those looking to elevate their nail care routine, specialized tools such as electric nail files, cuticle nippers, and nail brushes can be incorporated. These tools provide a more precise and professional-level of care, allowing you to address specific nail concerns more effectively.
Daily Nail Care Routine
Cleansing
Cleansing your nails daily is fundamental to maintaining hygiene. Use a gentle nail brush to remove dirt and debris from under your nails, followed by a thorough wash with mild soap and warm water. This step ensures that your nails remain clean and free from bacteria.
Moisturizing
Moisturizing is crucial to prevent dryness and brittleness. Apply a nourishing hand cream or cuticle oil to your nails and cuticles daily. This helps to keep them hydrated and supple, reducing the likelihood of cracks and splits.
Weekly Nail Care Routine
Trimming
Weekly trimming helps maintain the desired length and shape of your nails. Use high-quality nail clippers to trim your nails straight across, avoiding rounded edges to prevent ingrown nails.
Filing
After trimming, file your nails to smooth any rough edges. Use a fine-grit nail file and file in one direction to avoid weakening the nail. Proper filing helps to maintain the shape and prevent snags.
Monthly Nail Care Routine
Deep Conditioning
Once a month, treat your nails to a deep conditioning treatment. Soak your nails in warm oil or a moisturizing solution for about 10-15 minutes. This intensive hydration helps to strengthen your nails and promote healthy growth.
Cuticle Care
Cuticle care is vital for nail health. Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher after soaking your nails. Avoid cutting the cuticles as this can lead to infections.
Proper Techniques for Nail Trimming
When trimming your nails, it is essential to use proper techniques to avoid damage. Cut your nails when they are dry to prevent splitting, and trim them straight across to reduce the risk of ingrown nails. Always use sharp, clean nail clippers for the best results.

The Art of Filing Nails
Choosing the Right File
Selecting the appropriate nail file is crucial. Glass or crystal files are gentle on nails and provide a smooth finish, while metal files can be harsh and cause splitting.
Filing Techniques
File your nails in one direction using gentle strokes to avoid fraying. Start from the side of the nail and move towards the center, repeating on the opposite side. This technique helps to maintain the integrity of the nail.
Moisturizing and Hydration
Best Moisturizers
Choose moisturizers that contain ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, and vitamin E. These ingredients provide deep hydration and nourish the nails and cuticles.
Hydrating Techniques
In addition to daily moisturizing, incorporate overnight treatments such as applying a thick layer of hand cream and wearing cotton gloves. This allows the moisturizer to penetrate deeply, providing intensive hydration.
Addressing Common Nail Problems
Brittle Nails
Brittle nails can be a sign of dehydration or nutritional deficiencies. Regular moisturizing and incorporating biotin-rich foods into your diet can help strengthen brittle nails.
Nail Fungus
Nail fungus is a common issue that can be addressed with antifungal treatments. Keeping your nails dry and clean is crucial in preventing fungal infections.
Discoloration
Discoloration of nails can be caused by various factors, including nail polish, smoking, or underlying health conditions. Regular cleansing and the use of a nail whitener can help reduce discoloration.
Importance of a Balanced Diet for Healthy Nails
A balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals is essential for healthy nails. Incorporate foods high in biotin, vitamin E, and omega-3 fatty acids to promote nail strength and growth. Adequate hydration also plays a significant role in maintaining nail health.
Natural Remedies for Nail Care
Home Remedies
Home remedies such as soaking your nails in a mixture of lemon juice and olive oil can help to strengthen and brighten them. Additionally, applying a mixture of honey and milk can provide hydration and nourishment.
Essential Oils
Essential oils like tea tree oil and lavender oil have antifungal and antibacterial properties that can help maintain nail health. Dilute these oils with a carrier oil and apply them to your nails and cuticles regularly.
Maintaining a regular nail care routine is essential for healthy, strong, and beautiful nails. By incorporating these practices into your daily, weekly, and monthly regimen, you can ensure that your nails remain in optimal condition. Prioritize your nail health, and enjoy the benefits of well-cared-for nails.

“Gel manicures are now the most popular beauty treatment in the UK, according to the online booking system Treatwell. Salon chains say that between 70 per cent and 90 per cent of their manicures now involve gels rather than traditional kinds of nail lacquer or false acrylic nails.
Yet dermatologists say they are seeing an “epidemic” of bad reactions to gel. Women have reported nail lifting, brittleness and splitting as well as swollen fingers and infections.
Some people have also suffered eczema, rashes and swelling to the face and body related to using nail gels.”
Full text under cut
As a nail technician, Kirsty Connor had a gel manicure every fortnight — and provided the beauty treatment for about 20 others on any given week.
After years of using gel-based polish, however, she noticed that her nails were lifting away and her fingers were itching.
Later, mini blisters appeared on her hands. Her arms and eyes began to swell. When she struggled to breathe, she called an ambulance.
In A&E, Connor, 31, was told that — like many other women seen by emergency staff — she had developed an allergic reaction to the substances commonly found in gel polishes, which help the colour to harden under an ultraviolet lamp.
Gel manicures are now the most popular beauty treatment in the UK, according to the online booking system Treatwell.
Some people have also suffered eczema, rashes and swelling to the face and body related to using nail gels.
After her severe allergic reaction several years ago, Connor, from Beckenham, southeast London, threw away the collection of 300 gel polishes which she had built up over ten years. She now works with natural, non-toxic polishes.
“The doctors at the hospital said it was quite a common problem. I had been using the big high street brands for years and I had never heard of it so I want to raise awareness,” she said.
Gel polishes typically contain methacrylate chemicals, which can be an irritant and cause allergies. The more often people have gel manicures, the higher the chance they will have a bad reaction or even develop a lifelong allergy.
The chemicals enter the skin when the ultraviolet lamps used to harden each layer of gel are not used for long enough or the equipment is poorly maintained. If the gel is not sufficiently “cured” a reaction to the chemicals can occur on the skin around the nails. Simply brushing your nails against your arms or touching your face can produce symptoms in those areas.
Dr Justine Hextall, a consultant dermatologist and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, said: “The problem is artificial nails and gel manicures have become the norm. People think of these as a basic requirement for grooming, like brushing your hair, when actually nails aren’t built to sustain this much trauma.
“One of the first questions I ask when I see a patient with facial eczema, especially around the eyes, is whether they get their nails done, if they have gel polish and when they last had them done. We’re always touching our faces, so reaction often shows up here.”
The British Association of Dermatologists said allergies and irritation to the nails is “very likely when people apply a product themselves, or if insufficient training has been given to the nail technician”.
Customers are often unaware that their polish has not been applied correctly while those who buy home kits can fail to follow instructions.
Dr Deirdre Buckley, a consultant dermatologist in Bath, said she believes thousands of women around the country could be suffering with nail polish-related allergies.
She recently saw three women in one day with skin problems, all of which could be linked back to their manicures.
Buckley co-authored a 2018 report by the British Association of Dermatologists which warned that gel polish was causing a “contact allergy epidemic” in the UK.
Since then, she said, the condition has become even more prevalent.
In the past five years, 3.5 per cent of her dermatology patients have tested positive for an allergy to methacrylates. The allergy is almost always due to gel polishes, she said.
“It is so common now that we can usually tell what the problem is when a patient walks into the clinic”, Buckley said.
“I see people with a sort of stripy rash on their cheeks and neck or eyelid swelling because of their fingernails touching their face. They will often have thought very very hard about what could be causing it — their cosmetics, their workplace — but not their nails.”
Traumatic onychoschisis, when the nail starts to detach from the nail bed, is one of the more serious related conditions.
Julia Diogo, a London-based manicurist who specialises in natural nail health and gel nails, and whose clients have included the model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, said she had suffered from the condition herself. She has also worked with women who had previous allergic reactions.
Explaining the right way to carry out a manicure, she said: “Each gel polish brand has an exact curing time which should be adhered to; these are often 30 seconds, 60 seconds or 90 seconds. If you are curing a 90-second gel at 30 seconds this is going to cause either an allergic reaction and/or infection. The top layer may seem dry; however, the middle of that gel will still be wet or tacky, meaning it hasn’t been cured correctly.”
Anyone going for a gel manicure should check that their hands are not removed from the salon lamp before the timer has finished its countdown, she said.
Lamps should be tested regularly, and should be the same brand as the polish because they are designed to cure a specific gel.
There is no single qualification required to be a nail technician but professionals often have either a diploma in manicures, which can take as little as three days, or a beauty apprenticeship.
Some will have a BTec or NVQ in beauty. Nail technicians should ideally have also studied for a certificate with the brand of gel they are using, such as OPI or Shellac, which would tell them how to apply that particular formula.

Hii hope you are doing good, I was wondering if you have any tips on how to grow your nails and stop biting them, cos I have naturally long nail beds so its not like my nails are rlly short, but I do want to have more feminine hands are maybe start getting frequent manicures but I don’t know how to stop the habit of biting my nails especially when i’m nervous xx
Hey love, first things first, thanks for trusting us enough to ask for tips! 💕
We have a couple options that can help you:
• Find alternative coping mechanisms: Instead of biting your nails, try finding alternative ways to manage your anxiety. Maybe get some cute gold/silver bangles and play with those instead of biting your nails, vent about your current anxiety by writing them down on paper or even on the notepad of your phone, or engage in a creative hobby that can help divert your attention away from nail-biting.
• Set small goals: This method is apart of our “Habit Formation Guide” (click here to view) Break the habit into smaller, achievable goals. For example, focus on not biting your nails for a day or a week, and then gradually increase the duration. Celebrate each milestone to stay motivated! 🎁
• Use bitter-tasting nail polish: This is a game changer, Using a bitter-tasting nail polish specifically designed to discourage nail-biting. (Found on Amazon-click here- or target-click here-) Apply it regularly to create an aversion to biting your nails. 💅🏾
• Keep your nails well-groomed: Regularly trim and shape your nails to reduce the temptation to bite them. Use a strengthening treatment to promote healthy nail growth and prevent them from becoming brittle.
• Treat yourself to manicures: You mentioned you want to start getting Mani’s and we love that for you! Embrace your femininity by pampering yourself with regular manicures. The act of caring for your nails and having them professionally done can serve as a motivation to break the habit of nail-biting.
A short alternative: You can get acrylic nails (or press-ons) to start and let your real nails grow underneath. This may prevent you from biting them because they are much harder to bite on. It will also serve as a reminder to use other coping mechanisms when you are feeling nervous. Additionally, well-done acrylics can serve as motivation to grow your natural nails to match. The only downside is that keeping them on for too long can weaken your nails, so it's important to consider this as an option as well.
Breaking a habit takes time and effort, so be patient and kind to yourself throughout the process 💕 Embrace your femininity by nurturing and taking care of your nails. You have the power to overcome this habit and achieve your goal of enjoying beautiful, manicured nails.
Warm regards,
— Leah (CEO)

This is my current routine/rules for keeping myself healthy-ish while having an ed (kind of harm reduction
Tw cals, food mention
I never eat less than 600 cals a day, it leads to binging and depression for me.
I don't do extremely intense workouts. For me, it raises my cortisol levels and leads to feeling weak and binging. I do a mobility exercise video in the morning and then I do a walking workout video in the afternoon. Though if I get a job that will change slightly, but still the same intensity.
I take vitamin d, vitamin e, folic acid, iron, and magnesium + zinc.
I use ogx's coconut miracle oil at least 1 hour before I shower, it protects hair from water fatigue
I use ogx's coconut oil serum, I spray an argon oil leave in conditioner on damp hair then a very small amount of serum.
I eat tuna and/or salmon 3 times a week. You can also take fish oil supplements or eat an omega 3 trail mix but I prefer fish because it has a lot of protein
Speaking of protein, I eat as much as I can. It can be hard because the diet foods I eat don't have a lot. Here's a list of foods I eat that have protein:
Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt (80 cals, 12g protein)
Protein powder in coffee (about 36-38 cals depending on the brand, I use 2 tablespoons and blend it with 4oz almond milk and pour it in my coffee. You can also buy it pre made, super coffee is 80 cals with 10g protein. They also sell creamer with 15 cals 1g protein)
Fish like salmon and tuna
Frozen meals. Healthy choice has power bowls that normally have about 20g of protein or more for 300+ cals. Most frozen meal brands have a protein line
Pb2. I use this when I have a banana so there's protein with it, 60 cals and 6g protein
Protein bars, my favorite is the quest white chocolate raspberry
__________________________________________________
Water, self explanatory. Try to use electrolyte packets, low calorie and very needed. Propel is the brand I prefer
I take naps. When I work I take naps on my days off, must be at least 30 minutes but preferably 90 minutes. Sleep is so important
If you struggle with sleeping too much, add more fruit/cals into your diet. Get a really loud alarm and the first thing you do when you wake up is eat a citrus fruit or a banana. I know bananas are scary but they work great. Cut one in half or get small ones and eat one a day. And of course coffee can help. Drink green tea with lunch, caffeinated.
Using a shampoo and conditioner that work well for my hair. No, drugstore haircare will not ruin your hair. If you have the trademark dry, brittle hair that comes with this, use a sulfate free shampoo, and a conditioner with silicones in it, use pre shampoo oil treatments and limit how much you wash your hair. Use a clarifying shampoo once a week or once a month depending on how dry your hair is. Try to get a satin bonnet to sleep in or spray leave in conditioner and use a hair oil then braid your hair before bed. Trust me, hair oil on your mids and ends can help. Ogx sells mists for fine hair, those work great. If you have thick hair use the coconut serum. Make sure you're using leave in conditioner after showering
Be insanely gentle with your hair, no elastics or tight hairstyles. Comb your hair with your fingers first, gently detangling with your fingers before brushing from the bottom up, very lightly. Use leave in conditioner before you brush. Use a wide tooth comb on wet hair and do not rub your hair with a towel. Gently squeeze until excess water is removed. Try to limit brushing with a hairbrush or comb to once or twice a day.
Use cuticle oil, ideally it has vitamin e in it. I got mine off Amazon. Make sure it's on your cuticles and nails
Use lotion on your body after every shower. I know it's annoying and tiring but it will help combat the dull skin that happens, try to find one with hyaluronic acid
For face skin, use a gentle cleanser or just water unless your skin is oily, then you can get away with more medicated options. Use a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid in it. My top picks are peach slices snail rescue moisturizers (regular for normal to dry skin, oil free for oily skin), vanicream daily facial moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and for very dry skin cerave moisturizing cream in a tub (you can find knockoffs, mine is Walmart brand)
Cleansers I like for when the 3d effects skin is vanicream gentle cleanser, cerave sa cleanser for if you still have oily skin, Cetaphil sensitive skin cleanser and CeraVe cream to foam cleanser (you can find knockoffs for most of these products)
Use a niacinamide serum if you can afford it and your skin can handle it, it will brighten up your face.
I use a body serum but it is not a necessity, but for anyone who wants to try it I use the b.fresh brightening body serum, you could also use their dull to dewy one, its also good
I eat healthy fats, this comes from peanut butter, fish, avocado, eggs, dark chocolate and chia seeds
I have one day a month that I can have a normal portion of food I really want but make me guilty normally (Chinese takeaway, taco bell, Wendy's, McDonald's etc) it cannot be a binge, but it would be more than I normally eat.
This is not intentional but on Friday and Saturday I do eat more because I am with my boyfriend. All normal portions for the most part. I just eat more and things I wouldn't normally have like regular peanut butter honey toast, poptarts, spaghetti, etc.
I try not to weigh myself every day. I don't weigh in on Sunday or Monday because I know I will be bloated from the increase in cals
I use a cavity preventing toothpaste and mouth wash. And I at least floss once a day. I use whitening toothpaste one day a week for both times I brush that day
These things help me stay healthy and sane while I am currently in the midst of my 3d. Not all of them will work, but maybe some may be useful to others.

The Best Keratin Hair Conditioner: Your Key to Healthy Locks
In today’s world, hair damage is an all-too-common issue. Whether it’s caused by environmental stress, heat styling, or chemical treatments, our hair often ends up looking dull, dry, and frizzy. For those looking to restore their hair’s health, shine, and strength, a keratin-based conditioner can be a game-changer. This article explores everything you need to know about the best keratin hair conditioner, its benefits, and how to choose the best conditioner for damaged hair .
Understanding Keratin and Its Role in Hair Care
Keratin is a natural protein found in our hair, nails, and skin. It is responsible for maintaining the strength, elasticity, and structure of your hair. However, over time, keratin in the hair can become depleted due to factors like pollution, UV exposure, heat styling, and chemical treatments like coloring or perming. When this happens, the hair becomes prone to damage, frizz, and breakage.
Keratin conditioners contain hydrolyzed keratin, which helps replenish the lost protein in your hair, repairing damage, restoring shine, and improving overall hair health.
Why You Need a Keratin Conditioner for Damaged Hair
If your hair has seen better days and is showing signs of damage such as split ends, rough texture, or frizziness, you should consider switching to a conditioner for damaged hair. Keratin-infused conditioners are specifically designed to repair and protect your hair by forming a protective layer around each strand.
Key Benefits of a Keratin Conditioner for Damaged Hair:
Repairs Hair Damage: Keratin penetrates the hair shaft, repairing damage caused by heat, chemicals, and other stressors.
Reduces Frizz: By sealing the hair cuticle, keratin conditioners prevent moisture from causing frizz, leaving your hair smoother and shinier.
Increases Elasticity: Keratin strengthens your hair, reducing the likelihood of breakage and split ends.
Improves Shine: A keratin conditioner smooths the outer layer of your hair, enhancing its natural shine.
For those with severely damaged hair, the best keratin hair conditioner can help bring your locks back to life, providing long-term improvement in hair texture and health with consistent use.
How to Choose the Best Keratin Hair Conditioner
When selecting the best keratin hair conditioner, it’s important to look for a product that meets your specific hair needs. The ingredients in the conditioner should provide the right balance of moisture, protein, and protection are:
1. Hydrolyzed Keratin
Hydrolyzed keratin is the most effective form of keratin as it is broken down into smaller molecules that can penetrate the hair shaft easily. This helps rebuild damaged hair from the inside out.
2. Moisturizing Ingredients
Look for hydrating ingredients like argan oil, coconut oil, or shea butter. These help lock in moisture and keep your hair soft and manageable.
3. Sulfate-Free Formula
Sulfates can strip your hair of natural oils, which is particularly harmful for damaged hair. Opt for a sulfate-free keratin conditioner to maintain your hair’s natural balance.
4. Vitamins and Amino Acids
Additional ingredients like Vitamin E, biotin, and amino acids can provide extra nourishment, boosting the health of your hair and making it more resistant to damage.
Best Keratin Hair Conditioner Picks for Different Hair Types
Let’s explore some of the best keratin hair conditioners available on the market, each tailored to specific hair concerns:
1. Best Keratin Conditioner for Damaged Hair: Well Straight Professional Keratin Conditioner
This conditioner is perfect for damaged, brittle hair. Packed with hydrolyzed keratin and moisturizing oils, it repairs deep damage while providing a smooth, glossy finish. It works well for all hair types, especially those with severe damage due to coloring or heat styling.
2. Best Conditioner for Curly Hair in India: OGX Ever Straightening + Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner

The OGX Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner is one of the best conditioners for curly hair in India, thanks to its blend of keratin proteins, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. This conditioner provides deep hydration and helps define curls while keeping frizz at bay.
3. Best Budget Keratin Conditioner: TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Conditioner

This drugstore staple provides salon-quality smoothness and shine at an affordable price. It’s ideal for everyday use and works well on a range of hair types, especially for taming frizz.
4. Best Keratin Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair: L'Oréal Paris EverSleek Keratin Caring Conditioner
For those with color-treated hair, it’s important to choose a conditioner that not only smooths but also protects your color. L'Oréal EverSleek’s sulfate-free formula is enriched with keratin and designed to prolong the vibrancy of your color while repairing damage from dyeing.
Best Conditioner for Curly Hair in India: What Makes It Special?
Curly hair tends to be drier and more prone to frizz than straight or wavy hair, making it essential to find a keratin conditioner that not only smooths but also deeply hydrates. The best conditioner for curly hair in India needs to address specific concerns like moisture retention, curl definition, and frizz control.
Many of the best keratin hair conditioners for curly hair in India contain a blend of keratin proteins, moisturizing oils (like argan or coconut oil), and ingredients like shea butter to provide deep hydration without weighing down curls. They work by sealing the cuticle, which helps lock in moisture and enhances the natural shape of your curls.
How to Use a Keratin Conditioner for Maximum Results
To get the most out of your keratin conditioner, follow these steps:
Start with a Keratin Shampoo: Using a keratin-based shampoo before conditioning helps remove buildup and prepares your hair to absorb the benefits of the conditioner.
Apply Conditioner to Damp Hair: After washing, apply the conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be sure to avoid the scalp, as this can lead to excess oil buildup.
Let It Sit: For optimal results, leave the conditioner in for 3–5 minutes to allow the keratin to penetrate deeply into your hair shaft.
Rinse with Cool Water: Rinse your hair thoroughly with cool water. This helps close the cuticle and locks in the moisture and keratin treatment.
Use Consistently: To maintain the benefits of keratin, use the conditioner 2–3 times per week, depending on your hair’s condition.
Conclusion: Why You Should Choose the Best Keratin Hair Conditioner
Whether your hair is damaged from heat styling, coloring, or environmental stressors, the best keratin hair conditioner can help repair and protect your strands. By replenishing the keratin that has been lost, these conditioners provide long-lasting smoothness, reduce frizz, and improve the overall strength and shine of your hair.
If you have curly hair, finding the best conditioner for curly hair in India can make a world of difference in keeping your curls defined, hydrated, and free from frizz. Similarly, for damaged hair, a keratin conditioner will work wonders in restoring your hair’s health and shine.
Incorporate a keratin-based conditioner into your hair care routine and enjoy the transformative effects of healthier, smoother, and more manageable locks

Proper hydration isn't just beneficial for your skin; it's crucial for nail health too. Dehydrated nails are prone to brittleness and breakage, hindering growth. Ensure you're drinking enough water throughout the day to keep your nails hydrated from within.
Balanced Diet
Nails, like any other part of your body, require essential nutrients to grow strong and healthy. Incorporate a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Foods like leafy greens, eggs, nuts, and fish can provide the necessary nutrients for optimal nail growth.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Exposure to harsh chemicals, such as those found in detergents and cleaning agents, can weaken nails and slow down growth. Wear gloves when handling such substances to protect your nails from damage.
Protective Measures
Keep Nails Trimmed
Contrary to popular belief, keeping your nails trimmed actually promotes faster growth. Regular trimming prevents split ends and breakage, allowing your nails to grow longer without the risk of damage.
Wear Gloves
Whether you're doing household chores or working outdoors, wearing gloves can shield your nails from potential harm. They act as a barrier against chemicals, harsh weather conditions, and physical trauma, safeguarding your nails and promoting healthy growth.
Nutritional Supplements
Biotin
Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, is renowned for its role in promoting healthy hair and nails. Consider taking biotin supplements or incorporating biotin-rich foods like eggs, almonds, and avocados into your diet to support nail growth.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that aids in repairing damaged cells, including those in your nails. It promotes circulation to the nail bed, which can stimulate growth. You can find vitamin E in foods like spinach, broccoli, and almonds or opt for supplements.
Moisturizing Treatments
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is a natural moisturizer that can penetrate deep into the nail bed, nourishing and strengthening the nails from within. Massage a few drops of jojoba oil onto your nails and cuticles daily to keep them hydrated and promote faster growth.
Shea Butter
Shea butter is rich in vitamins A and E, as well as fatty acids, making it an excellent moisturizer for nails and cuticles. Apply shea butter directly to your nails before bedtime and let it absorb overnight for maximum hydration and growth benefits.
Avoiding Nail Damage
Limiting Exposure to Water
Excessive exposure to water, especially hot water, can weaken nails and make them more prone to breakage. Wear gloves while washing dishes or cleaning, and try to minimize the time your nails spend submerged in water to maintain their strength and integrity.
Gentle Nail Care Practices
Avoid using your nails as tools for tasks like opening cans or scraping off stickers, as this can cause damage and hinder growth. Instead, use proper tools and techniques to protect your nails from unnecessary stress and trauma.

Massage Techniques
Stimulating Blood Flow
Massaging your nails and cuticles can improve blood circulation to the nail bed, delivering essential nutrients and oxygen for faster growth. Use gentle, circular motions to massage a nourishing oil or cream into your nails daily for optimal results.
Promoting Nail Growth
In addition to enhancing blood flow, nail massage can also stimulate the production of keratin, the protein responsible for nail growth. Incorporate massage into your daily nail care routine to encourage stronger, longer nails.
Herbal Remedies
Horsetail Extract
Horsetail extract is rich in silica, a mineral essential for collagen formation and nail strength. Taking horsetail supplements or using products containing horsetail extract can fortify your nails and promote faster growth.
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera gel is well-known for its soothing and healing properties, making it ideal for treating brittle nails and stimulating growth. Apply fresh aloe vera gel to your nails and cuticles regularly to nourish and strengthen them from the inside out.
Patience and Consistency
Setting Realistic Expectations
While implementing these tips can accelerate nail growth, it's important to remember that nails grow slowly, typically around 1-3 millimeters per month. Be patient and consistent with your nail care routine, and you'll gradually see improvements in the health and length of your nails.

Professional Help
Consulting a Dermatologist

Nail Strengthening Treatments
In some cases, professional nail strengthening treatments may be necessary to promote faster growth and improve the overall health of your nails. These treatments often involve specialized formulas or procedures designed to fortify and protect the nails from damage.
