It is actually crazy to me that all the way back in episode 6, Robbie planted the seed of that song his mother sang to him. How his recreation of it then was "slightly dissonant", and the version in 105 is one where the notes finally all fell into place. That deep connection to his family and backstory, in a context we wouldn't understand until years later? That's beautiful commitment to storytelling.

Ralph Macchio knew what he was doing booking and filming that karate kid movie right after cobra kai cause the writers on this show are doing such a disservice to this franchise they truly don't understand the essence of Karate Kid . I constantly see people saying referring to the show "all this for kid karate ?" and I agree the way the characters are written on this show are so insane and far remove from the reality and the movies especially johnny smh . Killing characters like this is game of thrones all of a sudden wtf 🤦‍♀️. The writers lost sense of what the original movies and it message was suppose to be a long time ago. Now it a damn soap opera.

GIRL what part are you most excited about writing in three WIPs of your choice? 🎤

*taps microphone you’re holding and takes a deep breath*

1. Inspired by BRAT summer, I’ve got a few lines of a Robbie Fowler/Steve McManaman fic. Robbie doing a few lines (ala his famous celebration) and then getting absolutely off his nut enough to pack in the (at the time!) homophobia and suck off Maccas cock in a filthy club toliet. I’m looking forward to having a crack at nailing Maccas dialogue because he is soooooo funny and full of personality, fantastic voice. Robbie is a bit more mellow but still got lots of lovely scouse cheekiness to get on paper.

2. Thanks to Harry and his weird undying loyalty to England and well. Everything him and Southgate did. I’ve got (DON’T LAUGH) SouthKane puppy play slow cooking on the back burner. It’s enormous fun, a bit sweet and (hopefully) fucking hot. Like Gareth would love a big old yellow lab or a but the wife said no. So Harry with a leather mask a rubber tail will do instead.

3. I’ve got a few littered about WIPS for Ian Wright/Roy Keane because again, huge amount of fun to write their voices and also the way they act on stick to football is obscene. Husbands. I think the WIP that’s possibly going to see the light of day with those two is going to end up being either the public sex one (inspired by the funniest song I’ve heard). Get those two old men banging.

Also my only real SFW one I’ve got going at the minute is an age regression one featuring Harry and Gareth but like. That one needs some serious planning. Tooth rotting fluff and criticism of modern day football in equal measure

AU where Noir gets hired to investigate a sudden string of missing property/legal issues that's damaging local businesses in Brooklyn (think Museum mission from Insomniac's Spider-Man 2), and Hobie (Prowler) is his main informant

Spiderman has a violent encounter with the Prowler and sees Hobie unmasked- then later, Robbie (reporter for the Bugle) manages to drag Peter into taking on a case for his neighborhood, where he's introduced to the man closest to the action: Hobie 🙂

Sidenote, I think it would be Very funny if Peter’s civilian identity is a private eye but everyone knows about The Spider always helping him. Like, "yeah Im a private eye and so is that vigilante guy and yes he for some reason only gives ME his leads but we are totally not the same person"
